they weren't joking fifty nine looking for a how today
of sixty two sunny and gusty winds where tonight is
going to be a windshield of twenty nine and clear?
Speaker 2 (00:21):
All right? Brian was one of them days.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Man.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Today is Sesame Street Day.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Sesame Street Day, yeahday, okay?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
And what is Sesame Street Day.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
I don't know why they picked November tenth, but it
is officially on the National Day calendar.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
On Sesame Street Day.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
They say it's the most widely viewed kids show in
the world, so they used today to celebrate Sesame Street Day.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Y'all know.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
I would like to talk about my film career, you know,
because I did have a little bit part in Sesame
Street the Arbor Day edition, Yes, where I had the
line of our each go away, And that's because we
were painting trees and he came to and we asked
him to go away. Now, I didn't have that line
by myself. I did it with the rest of them,
(01:05):
the crew, the crew, and I'll never forget that happy
and say no. So he came out, so each came
out the tree and says, trees are sappy. That's what
makes me happy. And then we collectively as the kids said,
and I had to wave my hand like this.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Geach, go away, gotcha? Wow like that, that's good actor.
It was awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
You still have that?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Got it on VHS tape.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
And when we were talking about this, I will try
to make a point to find it because I know
where they all are.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Then I'm gonna have to find someone to get it
on VHS tape to see it. But that was my line.
The hand went like this, go away. And then there
was a I had a close up scene where I'm
painting a tree and they said, all right, little man,
look up at the tree.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
And then I looked up and that was it. Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:56):
And I can only imagine how dramatic you were with
our parts.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Not ray only didn't one take. I ain't need to
do it three like the other kids need two or
three takes. I only need it one.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
That I'm saying, it is.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
A tree in front of me. I really thought there
was a tree up there. What a star? I don't
know why you're here?
Speaker 5 (02:22):
Nothing?
Speaker 2 (02:24):
You have nothing?
Speaker 1 (02:26):

We were filmed it in the Paramount downtown Okay. And
so he was getting into the elevator with one of
those little mini motorcycles that he was running away from
somebody who was chasing him on Okay.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
So he scooped it up and put it under his
arm and got in the elevator.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
And I was a resident in the building and I
had groceries and we were going down, and so I
just he was standing there with the motorcycle. I was
standing there with my groceries, and we just looked at
each other and I.

Yeah, maybe your mom just took the check and didn't
tell you.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
I'm saying, I mean, drove you here.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
That's what a lot of you know, parents of star
kids do hear to take their money.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
No, I didn't get paid because it was it was
a pilot, so it didn't get picked up. I did
get some craft services. I got to eat delicious food,
but that was it.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Years years ago, they were filming a movie called The
Mallers and they asked Doc and I Doc and I

didn't get any credit for that.

It is National Sesame Street Day and I was on
Sesame Street back in the day for about thinking. My
total era TV time was about forty eight seconds. Forty seconds.
That changed my life. I knew what I wanted to
do in life after that. Yes, paint trees what I
wanted to do. So I want to find out have
you ever been on a TV or a movie show
from Tavarismla. Good morning, Hi, good morning, good morning, and
(08:33):
you've been on TV.
Speaker 2 (08:36):

To me after I graduated for a commercial and seconically, I.
Speaker 8 (08:48):
Wasn't ready for the same that was coming out to
me my five minutes of fame, and it was super exciting.
Speaker 7 (08:54):
I would go places and people would know who I was, So, yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Now did you have a line.
Speaker 8 (09:00):
Oh, it was kind of more like like an interview.
I was just like giving that, you know, information on
you know, what the school was like and what the
classes the class sizes were like and things like that.
Speaker 7 (09:10):
But it took hours, hours to film this commercial just
to be on TV for like forty eight seconds.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Now, now, was it one of those technical schools that
ran on during d trashy daytime TV back.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
In the day?
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Was the count doing nothing?
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
And if I saw that guy on the street, I'm like, hey,
you're just sitting at home guy, Yes, you're doing nothing.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Okay, that is awesome. That's awesome. All right, thank you
for sharing that.
Speaker 6 (09:43):
I still think the Educational Connection one was so good.
The rap song you remember Education Connection whatever it was.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Orlando Tammy, good morning, Good morning, Johnny. How are you now?
Speaker 1 (09:56):
You said your brother was in a movie.
Speaker 9 (10:00):
We actually went to doctor Show ups and they actually
promoted it a lot in the drama department. But we
were both extras, and he was in water Boy. Actually
it was filmed here and he got to actually meet
Adam Sandler.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Everybody, everybody who was acting was in water Boys.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Yeah, everybody, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
It was.
Speaker 9 (10:21):
It was not a very well known show, but it
was nineteen ninety eight. It was called From the Earth
to the Moon with Tom Hanks is on HBO and
I was an extra over and over again, many days
showing up. We were all promised that we were going
to meet Tom Hanks. And the one day they didn't
call me to come in the show for my possible role, loll,
(10:42):
he comes and I didn't get to meet him.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Oh so so for you going back, they said, hey,
you'll meet Tom Hanks, and you just kept going back.
Speaker 9 (10:51):
Yeah, well know we were. We kept getting called back
as extras. But the day I wasn't called was the
day he showed up on the show.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
It was there back then. How much was extra being paid?
Speaker 9 (11:02):
I want to say it was like twelve thirteen dollars.
I mean we're talking like nineteen ninety eight.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah, that's stuff. That was a lot of money that
was back then, a lot of money. All right, you
hold on a second. David Saint Cloud, he said the
specialist he was on that.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
I x Elma will Power by Attorney Dan Newlan interrect
you need to check it's a no brainer called Attorney
Dan Newland.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
There was a lot of people on Legends of the
Hidden Temple. That was a game show, right yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
And then someone said they were an intern on Extreme
Makeover Home edition in two thousand and four, so they're
on a few episodes carrying stuff into the houses that
they're in the house here.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah, they did a couple of houses. That's right.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
So this is they said their parents didn't even recognize.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Those are my kids. Okay, we got a lot of
famous people in this town. All right, Seleby News did he.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
Is getting in trouble behind bars?
Speaker 2 (11:48):
You got to hit us, man.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
It's on the way on Johnny's he breezy gusty winds
at time. Tonight is going to be clear with the
lower round thirty seven gusty wins and a wind chill
in Central Florida of twenty nine degree. That's how it's
going to go down tonight. I you know, we talked.
It's funny thing, is we we we talked about this
last week how Ryan and Race said they never people
don't carry cash anymore. And I even mentioned because it's
(12:11):
old and crunch it makes you cringch and I and
and I and I made a point. I'm like, you
know what, I carry cash just in case my car
doesn't work. Even though I know I got money in there,
I carry it so I could This morning I'm driving
and I got.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Two marks on the on my gas.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
When I'm saying normally, that means I can get to work,
and then once I leave here, just go over the
seven eleven and get it. Well, as soon as I
got out of the neighborhood, it went to one, and
then as soon as I got I four, it went
to low low fuel. And I'm like, all right, so
I don't I don't know how to gauge. Mind. I
used to have an old car that you can gauge
exactly how much gas you had in the car that
you can run it, but this one I didn't. So
(12:49):
I said, okay, let me get off on the Lee
Road exit and I went to the wah wah.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Okay, I go out there.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
There's a couple of police officers have some coffee, and
I'm getting the gas and punching the hold and said, okay,
punch it in again. Decline, Okay, punch it in again.
At the same time it said decline, say do it again.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
So I went in.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
So I said, you know me, just go inside because
obviously sometimes gas pumps outside a working So I go
inside and the guy was really nice. I said, yeah,
give me fifty dollars on pump three. He's like, fifty dollars.
I said, well, when I fill up my car, I
fill it all the way up. Yeah, you know I don't.
He said, well, are you trying to go to Atlanta?
I said no, no, man, run, I said no, I'm
just trying to go to work.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
You go, do you know that many people fill all
the way up?
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I don't know. I always in this economy.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
No, that's true.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
And he goes, so, wh a' you on to Jacksonville.
I said, nah, man, I'm going to work. I work
right on the corner. And he goes, fifty dollars. I said, well, no,
when I filled it up, I filled it up.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Yeah, and you're rich.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
So I put the card in and he goes, oh, man,
not thinking how much you want fifty dollars on pump six?
All right? Decline? He goes, man, you know it's something
probably wrong. Just run it through again. I said, all right, hey, man,
it ain't working. I said, you know what, I'll tell
you what. That's why I got cash. I said, here,
I got twenty five dollars, give me twenty five on pump.
But he's really nice about man. Sometimes all you gotta
(14:10):
do is call your bank and they'll get it worked. Outside,
and then I thought about it. I said, you know,
what probably happened is that because I don't normally get
gas at this time, it got flagged by the bank.
And I'm sure there's a message in my phone to
tell me if I accepted.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
It, right, yeah, and that's what happened.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah, and I would and he goes yeah, yeah, And
I knew he wasn't trying to think I was. I
was trying to do a fraud because they were police
officers right there. If I'm going to try to rip
off a gas station, I'm gonna drive around till there's
not two police officers right sitting right there.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
You know.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
It says, hey, you're your debit card inding and such
and such was used. If you authorize this, yes or no?
This was in the car the whole time, so I
couldn't say yes, yeah, you know, So then I got
in the car said yes, and then everything because my
thing is the first thing I did was I went
into my bank and said, man, somebody done cleaned cleaned
out my account. But that wasn't the case in point.
And that's why, even though it's cringe, I carry and
(15:05):
I feel a loss right now because I only got
one dollar.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
Oh no, no, no, let.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Me tell you why, coffy, you don't give all your
money away. I had twenty six dollars. I gave twenty five.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
I have a dollar to get you exactly. No, it's
just case.
Speaker 6 (15:19):
If you want to bet a dollar in here, that's
what it is, literally, okase in case.
Speaker 5 (15:23):
It's a little bit going on.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
That's the only reason, the only thing that's good for it.
The thing is a dollar. Nothing is a dollar. Exactly.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
I should have gave him the whole twenty six dollars.
So I want to find out what's the last time
you got declined and where were you. I'm sure that
never happened to you, right, because you're rich.
Speaker 6 (15:37):
No, it's it has happened, but it's because my chip
was like, oh really working, and you just kept saying decline, declined, decline,
And I was like, okay.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Right, you telling me stop running it again?
Speaker 6 (15:46):
Well the same like I tried three times and then
immediately I was like, oh my gosh, I have no money,
Like I have no money, and it was my checking card.
So I was like, sad, that's my that's my money,
that's not borrowed money. Yes, and so, but like that
is why I do carry two other cards with me.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Yeah, I had, I got two more cards. Yeah you know.
But but here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Man, if you ever come from humble beginnings when that happened,
you flash back, right, Yeah, I know I have money.
Speaker 6 (16:13):
Yeah, and then you have to like make an announcement
to everybody, especially at the grocery store.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
I swear money.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Hold on.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Got to explain to everybody every time we leave the country, yes,
I always had to come back and look, I know
it's because I was out of the country and they
stopped my card just in case.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
I got to make sure everybody knows. Yes, dude, I
called before I leave a long vacation. I call my
credit card company. I say, hey, this is where I'm going.
This is where I'm gonna be. And they say, if
you got any problem, call this number. And I keep
that number and I've never had to use it.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
I'm not going everything. But but no, it does happen.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Man.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
I was just sitting there thinking, Man, I don't know
what went through my head.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
It was.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
It was three o'clock in the morning. I just want
I just want to come to work. Man, to Jackson.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
You you give me twenty five. He's like, man, you're
only gonna get to like what.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
He was a really nice guy, but he was just
kind of curious on why in the middle of the
night somebody's gonna roll up there and get fifty dollars
worth of gas.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
You won't even make it the games.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
I tell that, I mean most people. I just feel
mine up because I know I can get a week
and a half yeah, on the full tank. Yeah, and
I was used to be giving me five mom pump too.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
That depends on how close to pay that because my
truck is expensive to fill up.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Really, Yeah, I'm gonna do it. My truck to fill
up usually about seventy dollars. Yeah, mine's about six about
fifty Yeah. How long is the lines? About a week? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (17:33):
With me, it's like five days. I'm always driving Wow
without a week max?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
