you can be a drop off location, buy a toy,
make a donation, everything you need to do is go
to babydj dot org. We also need some restaurants to
help feed the volunteers. If you don't, then we gotta
pay for it. But I mean, I don't mind paying
for it. But if you say, hey, I want to
do something for the program and pizza will add up,
ain't ask you to feed them all, you know, just hey,
I can deliver two or three pizzas. Again babydj dot org.

And then my sister came out and said, we do
not have alcohol in this house, and he had to
put it away.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I do blame my knee. She should have told him
her fault, not his fault. He thought he was doing right.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Now the second one, I brought my girl home for
the first time, met my mom. Mom loves her, she's
a great person. And they started talking about cooking and
my mom says, well, how do you make your cakes?

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Baby?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I was like, please don't tell her, don't tell her.
Tounkan high. No, you don't make it the box. Yeah,
so you don't do that, you don't do that and stuff. No, no, no,
I was a box cake. Come on, I'm like, oh,
she said, you do what you know? I said, yeah,
we don't do that. We don't do that here. And
she said what else do you make? She said, oh,

(01:57):
I make cookies, but I don't use the oil and stuff.
I putpple salt it.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
As long as she didn't go put grapes and chicken salad,
raisins in the potato salad, you're all right.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Mama has to come with me in the kitchen. And
she took it in there and said, I'm gonna show
you how to make a my royal famous Nana pudding.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Okay, and she I was in the other room.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
That's nice.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Look let me tell you, I said. Mama said, have
you ever had Southern cooking? I said, have you ever
had soul fool? She said, well, I've tried some of us.
I i'mnna tell you to make your butt be it.
I tell you right now, because it's made with all
anything that is not healthy. That's what we eat. Yeah,
and uh And it was.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
When the flavor comes.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I know, you don't want to go in the kitchen
when they're cooking and you're like, what is that?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
That's fat back flavor? Lists, pray. Do you know what
the fat bag is?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
That's how my mom face looked, said she made. She
put apple sauce and cookies.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
It just makes me feel like you smelled something.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
It makes you feel sick.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Sick. Yeah, but you know that's the.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
First because your body's not used to it. But while
you start craving it, that's all you want, that kind
of thing. Any anything awkward new?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Your gather family is good. No, no unusual conversation.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Everybody was stood there, you know, yeah, I know it
was pretty good.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
I really alcohol going, Yeah, really, it's surprisingly I mean, I.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Can't even imagine. I think the personalities would change because
of me. People understand, you got I'm not saying my
family doesn't drink. I guarantee they drink. They probably drink
a lot, but for th those three hours, they don't.
I can't imagine.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
I mean, it was mainly tame, which is crazy.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah. How many people do you have?

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Well, I had like my family obviously, like my sister's house,
and then the next day I went to Kim's house
and then her family was over, so I had two
separate things.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Giving imagine you had in both houses? What about eight? Ten?

Speaker 5 (03:47):
About about ten. Yeah, ten at my sisters and it
was a small one.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I think we had like sixty that's a lot.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, the datium shift, you don't eat all at once
of course when you get there.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Otherwise whatever, how about you.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
No, we went to a friend's house, so, like I
didn't really much worry about like six yeah, yeah, I
mean you can even keep things in control. Yeah, I mean,
like you hear conversations that are going on, but like
it's nothing that's awkward to me because I'm cool, you know.
And then they I also deal with like the blended
family thing, so like there's conversations that are being had
about other places, it ain't awkward to me at all.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
We had to take our We brought our little dog
and she's a terror so we had to take her
home because she was I'm enjoying this. She was terrorizing
the cats and the other dogs, and so we're like, look,
we'll just take her home. So we just My wife
left in too, gromecause I had already had two old fashions,
so I can't take her home, so so we had
to take her home. Other than that, No, there was
no awkwardness, No weirdness.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
It was nice. I had an awkward moment.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I was I had to take an uber home and
in the driver for I mean, I don't know where
he was from.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I think it was Middle Eastern.

Speaker 1 (04:54):

and he just started talking about Trump and I'm sitting
back there on Dude, I'm just trying to get home.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
He goes it, doesn't like foreigners, he doesn't like black man.
I'm like, bro, I'm just trying to get home. We
ain't having this coming to go, right. I don't know
what he's I'm like, Okay, about six more minutes, I'll
be I'm just like, dude, what.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
Two people in the house of about twelve.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
People, and well, hold on, hold on, hold on, I
got questions. What were they mixing it with? It was
just over the rocks.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
No, it's straight who okay? All right?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
So by the time dinner got there, they were they
were feeling really good.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
Before dinner got done, they were feeling really good. And
my my husband's brother ended up getting into a messing
with my dog and my dog ended up biting him.

Speaker 9 (07:17):
He had the go get stitches.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
And I mean he foundrom the pool. It was all
We didn't even eat dinner. I mean, it was the
craziest Thanksgiving that I ever had.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
So what happened to the drunk in laws? I mean,
what what what do they do? They just got drunk
and got stupid.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
They got drunk and when he had to go to
the hospital and get stitches. So we didn't end up
eating until I guess maybe about nine o'clock at night,
after he came out of the er.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Oh you gotta look at it this way. Not everybody
need to go to the ear. Yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
And he closest with go with him. Everybody else talk
about him. Man, hope he's okay. Why you eat your target?

Speaker 8 (07:52):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (07:52):
Yeah, I mean it was it was definitely awkward situation.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Wow, so when did you find it again? When did
you find end up eating?

Speaker 6 (08:00):
We ate about ten o'clock at night. We ate about
ten o'clock at night from his screaming kids. Who I
mean then didn't even asking for any help in the
kitchen at all. It was just I mean, it was awful.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
I'll never ever in fight them over again.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
I mean, that's nice of you guys to wait.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
But what kind of dog was it? She was a
kita and they would messing around with it? And what
does are mean what I can be?

Speaker 6 (08:29):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well so I went.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Down like that.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
Well, thank you?

Speaker 3 (08:35):
All right, all right, this person's still holding on x
al good morning.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Are you.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Hi?

Speaker 7 (08:46):
I'm Gianna. I wanted to tell you guys about an
awkward moment on Thanksgiving. So I was serving myself when
my family said, oh, let's say grace, and I receiving myself.
Everybody looked at me and then we just had an
awkward moment and then we all said grace.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Was that because you was about to eat without saying grace?

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (09:12):
See, so that's why they had to stop you for
the plate and say, hey, let's say grace, because you
just decided to start eating.

Speaker 7 (09:19):
Yes, I was hungry, so normally, to be honest, my
grandma was doing it too.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
So normally so normally, well, look, grandma's can do whatever
they want to. That's a whole different ball game. So
normally you don't say grace. So you're thinking, is why
is everybody all knew today saying grace when we normally don't.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Say grace exactly, Like hello.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I understand, and you felt bad because they're looking at
you going out, So you're gonna eat without saying grace.

Speaker 7 (09:48):
Yet, Like I had a long day. I was like
working all day, Like I'm let's.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Not bring the Lord into this.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I can't wait ninety seconds to thank the Lord that's
got I got you.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
It's weird because you don't do it. Someone's in at
my house. Honestly, I'd be like, what are we doing here?
What's going on here?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Videoing? This is just for fun now, you little TikTok.

Speaker 7 (10:15):
At the same time, they had me say grace.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Oh yeah, what did you say?

Speaker 7 (10:21):
I said, thank you for the hands that prepare this food. Amen.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Bad day?

Speaker 2 (10:25):
To the point, straight to the point, why did they
pick you because you were the one he.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Was about to eat? All right?

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Well, uh, I'm sorry about that, all right, thank you
for sharing that.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (10:45):
Right?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Three hundred six and all.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Of a sudden, right, yeah, I ain't never known Jesus before.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Ray when they say over.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
There, somebody said, you guys mean that you don't have
awkward moments, So I guess the whole thing was.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Awkward for them.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
And then Chrissy said, when my mother in law tell
my kids that this is the last Thanksgiving Day parade
and that they're not going to buy it because they're
not they're not idiots and they don't believe the propaganda.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
So there's da.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
I think that's a prediscussion you should have before you
say it to somebody's kids. You need to run that
by their parents before you make a statement like that.
Excel will Power by Attorney Dan newl An interrect.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
You need to check.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
It's a no brainer. Call Attorney Dan new In a
few good ones. So and said, my sister had one job.
She was in charge of the soft drinks. She brought
two one leader models for twelve people, so we had
to do portion control.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
You get a silp, get a silp, so said.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
My crazy aunt, did are reading on me with her
crazy cars in front of everyone. No, and said that
she sees me in a dark relationship in my future.
But I'm married. And then someone thought our whole Thanksgiving Godford,
my mom and my sister clearly hate each other, and
everyone pretends to be happy, but nobody is.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
I can't imagine somebody bringing some call at your house,
some witchery put the lick away and you the voodoo cars.
You can just leave, hey, first of all, top off
this with some hennessy. Now sit down and let me
tell you what's happened. Yeah, hey, both of y'all just leave. Wow,

(12:17):
all right? Ray what you were going on?

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Oh my goodness, some people were now all right?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Now over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
You know, we try not to bother each other when
when we're on vacation, but every now and then we'll
check in and say, hey, how y'all doing. Everybody's good,
everybody's good, Happy Thanksgiving, happy Birthday, all that good stuff.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
How does the blue brine just break through? Dog? I'm
telling you, man, watching this documentary, we are doomed. What's
the name of the documentary again? Age of Disclosure? Okay?
And what do you find that it's on Amazon Prime Prime? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:46):
And you got to pay for it, okay, so like
you can rent it, you can buy it whatever, But I.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Mean, yeah, twenty bucks.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, I bought it because I wanted to rewatch as
much as I want, Okay, because it's super interesting. But
I mean everyone's been taught talking about it because they're
starting to declassify a lot of you know, alien UAP
that's what they call them now UFO type information. So
and so that's it's basically the interview process with a
lot of people that are involved in the fight to

(13:14):
get everything declassified and how far back it goes and
how far reaching it is and what it really could
mean for everything.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
And I literally I cannot stop talking.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Now after watching this is no doubt in your mind
that there's life out there.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
There's no doubt in my mind that there is life
out there that's currently right here, right here, listening, but
potentially even listening to us, not because they love Johnny's House,
but just because that's the way the world works. Yeah,
one hundred percent, there is. Literally you couldn't convince me
otherwise after watching my wife at this point, every time
I start.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
To talk, she's like, oh, here we go, Yes, she's done.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
With you aliens again and they literally everything and where
you started it.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
Yeah, we started it last night. It is very very interesting.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Now, are you scared?

Speaker 4 (14:01):
I'm not scared.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
I'm just like blown away that we've had this information
for for decades.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Because you paid twenty bucks you got to find out. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
I mean, like these people that worked for like government
officials or like in the you know, in the military,
and they're like sitting down and doing these interviews.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
It's wild.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
What is the last movie you saw or last TV
show you saw that you just can't get off you
can't stop talking about it?

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Probably Hunting Wives.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
That's funny because that's that's my Yeah, Ray was telling
me for a long time.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Johnny, I know you'd like it. I ain't watching that
methal Hunting Wife.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Yeah, that ain't.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
My kind of thing.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
I love that show just because there's so many like
different twists and turns, and I yeah, I thought it was.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
I'm on episode six and I did not expect to
see some of the love scenes I saw.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Oh yeah it was.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I mean, and there was one scene where, uh, somebody's
brother came to the door and it was straight dang
a lang.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Oh yeah, I'm good you came to do it, But
is that necessary really that ford at all?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
I really liked Britney Snow before, but I love.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
See Now.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I don't wantnybody tell me because I got three episodes
left to find out what the plot line is going through. Uh,
but it's about these wives, rich wives in Texas. Yeah,
and they all like hunting and guns and the way
the friendships in the twine and something happened and who
I've heard a lot of people discuss it. Oh, yeah,
it's it's I had no idea.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
I know. Tago Ball was like, hey man, you gotta
watch it. John.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
I'm like, you're suggesting to me to watch the show
called The Hunting Wives, I know. And then I told
him this morning he was like, don't tell me. I
only see two episodes. But yeah, it's one of those
that you see you get caught up in it. It's
like like last night, I had to go to bed.
I had to go to bed and I had to
turn it off. And that's the hardest thing is when
you're watching you get you get you know, locked up

(15:56):
in a series and uh, the next episode is the cliffhanger. Yeah,
you gotta turn off. Yeah, you got it from I
can pick it up tomorrow. But that was that was mine.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Too, Yeah, nobody wants This is another one that I
thought was really real. It's the girls I have, like
the sisters that have a podcast Kristen Bells in it.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Oh yeah yeah, yeah, I saw I saw them.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
I think I watched one episode and she started dating
a rabbi, but then he quit being a rabbi and
people think because he dated her.

season two coming now.

the way through yet, But is there gonna be a season.

It's three, three different seasons, she's defending three different people.
But there's so many plots lists in it. It's just
it's so so good my work life. Jennifer told me
about it and I was hooked.

Speaker 7 (18:30):
From season one.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Reasonable Doubts on Hulu. Yep, I got to write that
one down and let's go to you gonna tell us
the plot line and who killed what?

Speaker 3 (18:38):
From can send me Joe Ane? Good morning, Good morning?
All right?

Speaker 1 (18:42):
What is the movie or a show that you just
can't think about it? You just think about it all
the time. You got to talk about it? What's your show?

Speaker 9 (18:48):
The secret of Skinwalker Ranch.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
The secret of how come I've never heard these shows?
I never heard a Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. Tell me
about it.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Yes, well, it.

Speaker 9 (18:58):
Started out since they were reporting skim walkers in Utah.
But it's a privately owned I don't know what it's
called ranch. That they're finding out all these things about
UFOs and that's all the things the government hasn't told
us about, and the FBI has involved the government's.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Involved, and what what what what? In five seasons? How
did you see it? I mean, what what network or preyprint?

Speaker 9 (19:28):
It's on Lifetime and not Lifetime.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Discovery Discovery Secret of skim Walker rant. Okay, I've never
I mean I've never.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
I guess I don't watch that much TV. Like Chelsea
from Eustace, Good Morning, Good Morning nine.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
All right, Chelsea, what is a show that you just
can't get off your mind?

Speaker 8 (19:51):
Mine is Don't Blink with.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah, I heard about that. Yeah, I heard that people
go crazy when you mess with a cat.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (20:00):
Like anytime anyone recommends a show for like to binge
watch if you like true crime, investigative with twists and turns,
it's it.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Yeah. I won't tell. I won't tell the end of
that one. I didn't see it, but I remember people
talking about it. A lot ray what they shake.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Let's see here House of Guinness.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah, yeah, I think, I mean, that's the story of
Guinness and uh, I think if I'm not mistaken. When
they first opened, one of the brothers was kidnapped. Hell
for ransom.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Yeah, of course, somebody said lost, that's the only show
that I haven't.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Go ahead and go ahead and give them the warning.
It's good up to what? Yeah about season four?

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Yeah, somebody wants to know the name again Brian at
the document.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
Oh, it's called Age of Disclosure.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Disclosure.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Yeah, this one called me dumb for payings for something whatever.
Man by Tourney Dan Newlan Interact.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Need to check.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
It's a no brainer. Just call it Tourney Dan Newlan.
Let's see mine. Hunter on Netflix had me on a
choke hold for two year yours two years?

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Yep?

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Mind Hunter, yep, The Chosen On Amazon Prime, they said
that's the story of Jesus Christ.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
That one's got them. Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
So that that one's on there. Let's see My School Spirits,
the murd All Murders. I've seen a bunch of highlights
of that I've never watched yet. And The Chief of
War on Apple TV.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah, I still can't watch the one about the neighbor
from Okala, the one I still haven't watch.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
I can't watch that. Yeah, I heard it said.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
It is, Yeah, it is very very sad.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Yeah, I haven't watched that one.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
It makes you, yeah, I mean just because it's just
like you see it and it's local.

Speaker 1 (21:39):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
