Did you guys get to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade?

Did you watch a littleas I had it on so
I just caught parts of it?

Yeah, So but this year they're saying that it broke records.
It's set watching yep all time viewership record so across
NBC and Peacock it had thirty four and a half
million viewers, so it's for the biggest combined audience on
record for them.

So, I mean it was pretty big.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
The original eight thirty Am NBC drew in twenty five
and a half million viewers, so becoming the most watch
entertainment telecasts in nearly seven years for them.

The ship twenty minutes coming up next. They need a
big guy get a few more dollars on people to
clean up after those horses. Ycause I saw some videos
the little dirt little girls doing their dancing and they

She said it was like a once in a lifetime
opportunity to have her song training season to be used
to pump up the USA Winter Olympic so which.

So the Olympics began February sixth, which is right around
the corner, it is, that's gonna come up quick.

Quentin Tarantino is the lasting Suzanne Collins. So he was
talking about how he doesn't understand how Battle Royale it's
like a Japanese film, how that author didn't sue her,
Suzanne Collins, because he's saying that the Hunger Games basically stole.

Off of Battle Royale.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Really yeah, So but he said that the Hunger Games
borrowed heavily from the two thousand movie, but book critics
never noticed because.

They hadn't seen their original.

So Quentin Tarantino claimed that once the film critics watched
the Hunger Games, they immediately said, this is just like
Battle Royale. So I mean, yeah, it was just calling
her out the Hunger Games out.

All you need to do is remind me as the
original author.

I'm like really yeah, okay, I'm like, now, I won't
be surprised if that the Battle Royal author comes out
and they're like, okay, now we're gonna sue because pointed
it out.

A sequels is what's saving Hollywood right now, Like Hollywood
is back. But here's the thing.

But also Taylor Swift to the docu series that's going
to be massive this month, The End of an Era
Hits Disney Plus on the twelfth, so obviously that's gonna
be pretty big.

All right, people, y'all, did you understood the assignment and
you went out to the movie theater for Thanksgiving and
they appreciate you. So what did we do the last
couple of days? We'll update you on that next dun
Johnny's hood. I was telling Ray getting out of here.
They laid my flight and was supposed to leave it six,
then six twenty five, Like that's cool, Then six fifty five,
all right?

Then I got another one oooo.

Eleven fifty five, whoa, whoa eleven ffleven fifty five. I
do the math, Hey, hey, hey, what what happened? And
then we got a text and say, hey, now, if
you want to go, do it on your own and
find another flight on this air line, we won't charge you.
So we were fortunate enough to find another flight that
was going out two hours later and finally got to Charlotte.

Charlotte's awesome family was good, Thanksgiving was was amazing, and
I got back here and had the most relaxed, laid
back birthday that a human being could have.

It was good.

Just lots of family time obviously with Thanksgiving, lots of eating,
lots of day drinking.

Heieniken, No, No, one of my niece's boyfriend. Oh so
he don't know, no gold to eve and everything. I
walked in. He goes, so you wunk, Chris? I said, yeah,
how you're doing? He said, hey, man, about this? Any oh?
Lord said, and put it on the table and I said, no, man,
I'm driving, I'm looking up this.

So he brought, he brought it, sped on it. Anybody

No, wow, you know I let that man just get away.

No, no, oh no, no, my sister went, Now that's
forty to fifty people in the health.

My sister said, excuse me, if you're new to the
family Thanksgiving, we do not have alcohol here. And if
it was, if there is some here looking there at
the table, please take it out of the house.

Like, oh wow, that's uncomfortable. Yeah, that's like you could
have just said, Hayes.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yeah, it would have been like I'm going to take
myself out.

I blame my niece.

You know that's true.

He was be a nice man.

I heard about when you know it's like breaking break
hit it with me.

I'm like, yeah, that's on her correct, No, yeah, yeah

Well meanwhile I was the people that likes today drink,
So I mean, yeah, like yesterday I was ago, I'm
not going to drink today. But obviously the Bills game
was on, and then of course I had like three
I pas and I'm like, well, here we go again.
But yeah, so it was a really good weekend, just
lots of family time and relaxing.

Really good, good.

Yeah, it was nice.

Speaker 9 (07:09):
It was.

This is the longest stretch I've had to not have
to work feel on something ever, like it probably at
least in the last five, six, seven years. So it
was actually nice. But it's also weird because I'm like,
I know I should be doing something.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah. I did have to do a little bit of work,
but not much, so we really got to just chill.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
Went over do our friend's house for Thanksgiving. So we
didn't do it ourselves. We mean, we cooked some stuff
and took it with them. We drank every kind of
old fashion you could think of. We had apple spice,
old fashions, we have pumpkin spice, old fashions we had
them now really yes, okay, yeah, So and then we
just kind of hung out a little bit. We uh,
we did some stuff around the house, got a lot
of stuff around the house done. There is a new

it used to be an Irish pub now it's a
British bar and they have a Christmas speakeasy in it
over our house and it's and it's so well done.
So we went to that and hung out and we
were the only ones in there because it was like
it was day after things giving.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
There was not a lot of people out, so it
was kind of nice. It was just our friends and us.
Oh yeah the place.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Yeah, and the owner came over, super nice guy. He's
actually from the Isle of White, which is where I
met the other guy who's on the radio, and he
and he thought I was He thought I was joking
with him because it's such a small place. I said, yeah,
I met a guy from the Isle of White. He's like, seriously,
who told you to say that. I'm like, ah, nobody.
He's like, that's where I'm from. You give him the
guy's name.

Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
Now they're they're cross referenceding to see if they know
each other, which is funny. So we did that, which
was really cool. And then really I just watched a
ton of football and just hung around the house. I
I had to work over at Driver's Mart and Stanford
on Saturday. Uh, they're really cool people. Uh Ricky who
I think he runs the place. His wife listens good
morning to you, and so yeah, we we just did that.

And then I watched some more football, and then I
did I didn't do it. I watched Age of Disclosure,
the alien documentary. I got a text from Bride Me Too.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
You got to say. I was like, yo, yo, man,
just amount of time before the kills all. I'm like
the brother and that deep it's coming, dog, he's in
that deep. I'm telling you, I'm you don't even know.
If you ain't talking about this, you're crazy. Seriously, y'all.

They're here.

Everyone that I know who saw that movie thinks like
you do.

Right now, they're here. I don't know if I'm ready
to think like that yet.

It's just like their government officials, people that have been
in the military like they've been they have.

Right, you watch some of it too, Yes, Right? How

This ain't Rodney in overalls. They got stopped in the
forest in Tennessee. These are real people. I'm dealing with
real things that are telling you real stuff. And the
compound raise fear of the ocean. They live in the ocean.
I heard they live in the ocean. I heard they've
been down there for years. But for them, it's just
like a second, you know, right, the time space continuing

around the type of things these people could do.

I mean, if you look at how time has changed here,
we are about to be twenty twenty six. There's a
documentary that pretty much tells you there's aliens, but ain't
nobody talking about it. If it had been twenty years ago,
it would have shut down all news, all sources, all
social media everything would have been talking about this, and
now it's just like did you see what Nicki Mina

made for things? Y'all more upset about a blue jeans
ad than you are about the fact that they're.

The cool thing that I heard is that radio waves

So you can you imagine there's assuming their crafts have

Today, most of the elves arrived.

likely overnights last night, they have arrived.

Oh man, I remember when mine used to be there.
He wrote a lot of notes. And that's why I
hate talking about elf on the shelf because mine.

Was he was busy, yours lazy.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
It was not lazy, he was busy, but he left
notes saying, hey, I got to go for a couple
of days, and uh, you'd be good because I'm watching.
And then you know he popped back up, Yeah, you
know he was. He was, He was he was busy,
you know, yeah, busy. You know, say, hey, I saw
you in school today. See I wasn't I was looking
through the window, oh you know. And then he would
pop up and hang from the ceiling and the light

like days at the time, but he left a note.
And you know, it wasn't like the kid felt abandoned.
He said, hey, oh what what is he? Wake up?
Where's elf? Hey, I noticed that you've been really good today.
So I'm gonna go look at some bad kids. I'll
be back, but don't forget. I'm talking the sound of daily.
And then he would disappear. Wow, and then he would
come back. I would just thinking, if he was going

to take the time to write a note, he could
have done something cool.

Seriously, but the thing he did was right to note.

He came back like he said he would.

They have too, Yeah, we have two alves that show
up and they go back and forth between my house
and uh, their other mom's house. Okay, yeah, they're very busy,
so I mean they still get into miss GV things
even though they're busy like yours.

Hey, look, they're still doing stuff.

It's not like you know, I said I won't that
elf that was the one that was assigned to my
key to the house. Yeah, you know, if I had
any other way, he'd have been there all the time.

So but yeah, so they will most likely be arriving today,
but they're going to be at their.

Other mom's house this morning. So I don't know yet.

I haven't received any text messages or anything.

Do they know that their elf is showing up today?

Oh they know.

Yeah, Ok, they know December first usually they arrive. So
but I just know that it is commitments for them
to show up every single day.

I did. I don't know anything about that. I just
I was mine was livid.

Yeah, I say, at my girlfriend's house. So the ELFs
did show up yesterday, Oh really came a day early?

And what kind of mischief, did it.

There was some snow that he wrote on the walls
or on the windows.

There was some snow and it's nice balloons and stuff.

Yeah, he might used to do crazy.

His name was Henry.

He used to do all kinds of crazy stuff. Swim
in the pool, oh wow, Yeah he would. He got
stuck in the freezer one time. He's trying to ice
skate in the freezer, filled up to sink and made
it a pool party with all my my son's other toys. Yeah.

He did knock over the flower and do snow angels
one time on the countertop.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah. I think mine spent all his money on clothing stuff. Yeah,
problem didn't end up not the first year. He had
to earn it. But eventually he got a leather jacket
and all that stuff. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
The first year, we you know, he didn't have nothing nice.
We wanted to make sure he was gonna work, okay, okay,
and then we would leave Henry.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Gifts because would leave my son Jaden gifts. Okay, so
Henry would get the gift of a new jacket or something. Okay.
I want to find out if your elf is arriving
or your kid's elf is arriving today, and what if
and if your elf is already gone because the kids
are grown, what are some of the craziest things that
your elf has done? Because there's other elves that are
listening right now and they can probably take some of

those ideas and do it to the kids that they're

on the shelf? So I had to look it up.
Now there's some new elves that are right now traveling
the locations so they can get there before the kid
wakes up. Official rules. Children cannot touch the elf if

a child touches the ELFs it would lose its power
stop moving. Some families have a solution like using the
kitchen tongs is the tongs yes, or even a oven
mit yeah to move if needed, or having the child
write an apology note to sound And that's no game
guaranteed that if you touch it, they'll come back.

Uh.

The elf is a listener, not a talker. If the
elf cannot speak to humans, the elk cannot speak to humans.
But it's a good listener. Those kids can tell their
secrets and their wishes to the elf. Now here's one
I didn't know about mine.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
The elf moves at night. The elf magically moves from
one spot to find a new one each night and
reports back to Santa about the kids behavior. Because mine,
I come home from work and to move it come
home from school that moved.

I didn't know that they could maybe yours as a narcolep.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah right, I mean kept saying kind of hours I did.
I mean I can understand that night is all relatives.
It could be daytime and night time.

We're there for that.

Uh, let's see, and the elves must leave on Christmas Eve,
the elf returns to the North Pole on Christmas Eve
to help Santa with the holiday presentation. And they said,
you should give your elf a name. Naming the elf
is the first step is part of the magical tradition.
So if that is your elf and you're listening, these
are the rules and you should know these things, right
what they're saying over.

There about the carry said, I'm so thankful my elf
is able to just you know, just sit on the shelf.
And my daughter has grown now, so they did snoop

And me, what is sad over my Excel mobile powered
by Attorney Dan Newlyn in a wreck need to check
it's a no brainer, call Attorney Dan Newlin. Someone said
their elf on the shelf delivers stockings of coal to
the house. Well, when the kids are acting up just
to let them know what's coming next. You don't get
it right, get it together. This is what you Christmas
is going to look like.

obviously her biggest song, All You Want for Christmas Is
You around this time of year is massive and she
could basically retire because of that song. And what they're
saying is that she brings in around two and a
half million dollars in royalties every single year just from

So just that one song in the January February she
gets a big check.

Yeah yeah, so the estimated claim the annual royalties are
about more than three million dollars.

Christmas was co written by a Russian Brazilian music producer
named Walter and he did a lot of work with
Mariah and then nine nineties, and he has a net
worth of over one hundred million dollars, so he does
get a nice little check as well.

But you know what she does promote it. She embraced
the whole Christmas thing, yes, which means that her song
lives one. That's her Vegas residency right now. It's not
selling all that well though, Oh no, like all the
shows they just started on Friday, they said there and
there's not a show that's more than half sold out
right now.

And then she has the pop up bars too. There's
one I guess there's one in Miami, not local, but
you know, yeah.

So it hit number one on the Billboard Hot one
hundred for the first time in twenty nineteen. Twenty nineteen,
so after so many years, But.

Or if you saw the latest episode of Keeping Up
with the Kardashians or the Kardashians, whichever you want to
call it nowadays, her doctor diagnosis, I was telling you
that she had that aneurysm that they saw. Well in
the latest episode, the doctor showed her and expresses concern
about some recent brain scans, and he said that there's

a series of holds and her scans which indicate low
brain activity. Basically, her frontal lobe is less active than
it should be. So okay, yeah, it sounds alarming, but
apparently it's not like that into the world. He did
say that these holes impact her ability to handle stress,
which could also be like the aneurysms and all that stuff.

supposed to go on sale if you mind online, and

saw over the weekend is that they didn't know what
to expect this year with holiday shopping.

Some prices are going up and groceries going up. But
they broke records. Yeah, Friday broke records. But you're getting

you did last year. So it's funny because when when
I hear that, I'm thinking people are spending more, meaning
they're getting more.
