Speaker 1 (00:27):
Did you watch a littleas I had it on so
I just caught parts of it?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yeah, So but this year they're saying that it broke records.
It's set watching yep all time viewership record so across
NBC and Peacock it had thirty four and a half
million viewers, so it's for the biggest combined audience on
record for them.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
So, I mean it was pretty big.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
The original eight thirty Am NBC drew in twenty five
and a half million viewers, so becoming the most watch
entertainment telecasts in nearly seven years for them.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Hyd sound Clau He's coming up in a b Yeah.
The ship twenty minutes coming up next. They need a
big guy get a few more dollars on people to
clean up after those horses. Ycause I saw some videos
the little dirt little girls doing their dancing and they
had no shoes on and they was dancing on some
horse manure.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
No, but they didn't miss a beat though.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah, I mean it's like a once in a lifetime
thing to be able to walk through the mazes.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Dancing in this manure, right, do you you think do
you think they had a little meeting before, Hey, you
know what, there's gonna be horses and you got to
just keep dancing.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
I probably not.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
You don't think so, no, because I think they probably
expected it to be pretty well cleaned up.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Also during the parade, there was a commercial for Dua Lipa.
Du Alipa was hyping up Team USA for the twenty
twenty six Winter Olympics.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
So that was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
She said it was like a once in a lifetime
opportunity to have her song training season to be used
to pump up the USA Winter Olympic so which.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Is also on NBC.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Yeah, yeah, full circle.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
So the Olympics began February sixth, which is right around
the corner, it is, that's gonna come up quick.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Quentin Tarantino is the lasting Suzanne Collins. So he was
talking about how he doesn't understand how Battle Royale it's
like a Japanese film, how that author didn't sue her,
Suzanne Collins, because he's saying that the Hunger Games basically stole.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Off of Battle Royale.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Really yeah, So but he said that the Hunger Games
borrowed heavily from the two thousand movie, but book critics
never noticed because.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
They hadn't seen their original.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
So Quentin Tarantino claimed that once the film critics watched
the Hunger Games, they immediately said, this is just like
Battle Royale. So I mean, yeah, it was just calling
her out the Hunger Games out.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
All you need to do is remind me as the
original author.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
I'm like really yeah, okay, I'm like, now, I won't
be surprised if that the Battle Royal author comes out
and they're like, okay, now we're gonna sue because pointed
it out.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
I would say, hey, make it right, yeah, make it right.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Obviously it's December first, so some things.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Look forward to some big movies that are coming out
to this month, Avatar, Fire and Ash Finally yeah, December nineteenth,
the SpongeBob movie Search for SquarePants that comes out the
same day, December nineteenth.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
So I don't know which one's gonna win.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
A sequels is what's saving Hollywood right now, Like Hollywood
is back. But here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Either you're gonna explode and do well or you're gonna bomb.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Five Nights at Freddy that opens this weekend. That yeah,
this is the second one.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Movie like yeah, like the like teens into the twenties
they love that.
Speaker 7 (03:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
And then the re release of both Kill Bill that's
running four hours and thirty five minutes.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
That's how long that movie is.
Speaker 8 (03:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Yeah, So Timothy Shallomey obviously, and.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I'm just here, who has that kind of time this
time of the year. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I mean with the kids being out too, maybe, but
that's not like a kitchen movie.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
You sit a kid just leaving the car.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
It ain't hot out.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
But also Taylor Swift to the docu series that's going
to be massive this month, The End of an Era
Hits Disney Plus on the twelfth, so obviously that's gonna
be pretty big.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
All right, people, y'all, did you understood the assignment and
you went out to the movie theater for Thanksgiving and
they appreciate you. So what did we do the last
couple of days? We'll update you on that next dun
Johnny's hood. I was telling Ray getting out of here.
They laid my flight and was supposed to leave it six,
then six twenty five, Like that's cool, Then six fifty five,
all right?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Then I got another one oooo.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Eleven fifty five, whoa, whoa eleven ffleven fifty five. I
do the math, Hey, hey, hey, what what happened? And
then we got a text and say, hey, now, if
you want to go, do it on your own and
find another flight on this air line, we won't charge you.
So we were fortunate enough to find another flight that
was going out two hours later and finally got to Charlotte.
(05:06):
Charlotte's awesome family was good, Thanksgiving was was amazing, and
I got back here and had the most relaxed, laid
back birthday that a human being could have.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
And now we're back good Ray, how about you? How
was yours?
Speaker 8 (05:20):
It was good.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Just lots of family time obviously with Thanksgiving, lots of eating,
lots of day drinking.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
But yeah, I got you to cut you out.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Did you get another solo?
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Heieniken, No, No, one of my niece's boyfriend. Oh so
he don't know, no gold to eve and everything. I
walked in. He goes, so you wunk, Chris? I said, yeah,
how you're doing? He said, hey, man, about this? Any oh?
Lord said, and put it on the table and I said, no, man,
I'm driving, I'm looking up this.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
So he brought, he brought it, sped on it. Anybody
else partake?
Speaker 3 (05:59):
No, wow, you know I let that man just get away.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
No, no, oh no, no, my sister went, Now that's
forty to fifty people in the health.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Of course.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
My sister said, excuse me, if you're new to the
family Thanksgiving, we do not have alcohol here. And if
it was, if there is some here looking there at
the table, please take it out of the house.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
Like, oh wow, that's uncomfortable. Yeah, that's like you could
have just said, Hayes.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yeah, it would have been like I'm going to take
myself out.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
I blame my niece.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
You know that's true.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
He was be a nice man.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
I heard about when you know it's like breaking break
hit it with me.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I'm like, yeah, that's on her correct, No, yeah, yeah
it was yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Well meanwhile I was the people that likes today drink,
So I mean, yeah, like yesterday I was ago, I'm
not going to drink today. But obviously the Bills game
was on, and then of course I had like three
I pas and I'm like, well, here we go again.
But yeah, so it was a really good weekend, just
lots of family time and relaxing.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Really good, good.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, it was nice.
Speaker 9 (07:09):
It was.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
This is the longest stretch I've had to not have
to work feel on something ever, like it probably at
least in the last five, six, seven years. So it
was actually nice. But it's also weird because I'm like,
I know I should be doing something.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah. I did have to do a little bit of work,
but not much, so we really got to just chill.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
Went over do our friend's house for Thanksgiving. So we
didn't do it ourselves. We mean, we cooked some stuff
and took it with them. We drank every kind of
old fashion you could think of. We had apple spice,
old fashions, we have pumpkin spice, old fashions we had
them now really yes, okay, yeah, So and then we
just kind of hung out a little bit. We uh,
we did some stuff around the house, got a lot
of stuff around the house done. There is a new
(07:48):
it used to be an Irish pub now it's a
British bar and they have a Christmas speakeasy in it
over our house and it's and it's so well done.
So we went to that and hung out and we
were the only ones in there because it was like
it was day after things giving.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
There was not a lot of people out, so it
was kind of nice. It was just our friends and us.
Oh yeah the place.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Yeah, and the owner came over, super nice guy. He's
actually from the Isle of White, which is where I
met the other guy who's on the radio, and he
and he thought I was He thought I was joking
with him because it's such a small place. I said, yeah,
I met a guy from the Isle of White. He's like, seriously,
who told you to say that. I'm like, ah, nobody.
He's like, that's where I'm from. You give him the
guy's name.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
Now they're they're cross referenceding to see if they know
each other, which is funny. So we did that, which
was really cool. And then really I just watched a
ton of football and just hung around the house. I
I had to work over at Driver's Mart and Stanford
on Saturday. Uh, they're really cool people. Uh Ricky who
I think he runs the place. His wife listens good
morning to you, and so yeah, we we just did that.
(08:47):
And then I watched some more football, and then I
did I didn't do it. I watched Age of Disclosure,
the alien documentary. I got a text from Bride Me Too.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
You got to say. I was like, yo, yo, man,
just amount of time before the kills all. I'm like
the brother and that deep it's coming, dog, he's in
that deep. I'm telling you, I'm you don't even know.
If you ain't talking about this, you're crazy. Seriously, y'all.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
They're here.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Everyone that I know who saw that movie thinks like
you do.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Right now, they're here. I don't know if I'm ready
to think like that yet.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's just like their government officials, people that have been
in the military like they've been they have.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Right, you watch some of it too, Yes, Right? How
come you.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Ain't like because I'm not doing ye, but I'm still
like sitting there like, uh.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
This ain't Rodney in overalls. They got stopped in the
forest in Tennessee. These are real people. I'm dealing with
real things that are telling you real stuff. And the
compound raise fear of the ocean. They live in the ocean.
I heard they live in the ocean. I heard they've
been down there for years. But for them, it's just
like a second, you know, right, the time space continuing
(09:59):
our mind. They're so minuscule you can't wrap your heads
around the type of things these people could do.
Speaker 9 (10:06):
Well.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
They ain't people.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
No.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Now, I said, I'm gonna watch it, but I need
to be in an environment where nobody bothers me and
I can just zoom in.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
I watched parts of it two and three times because
I'm like, wait a second, I didn't hear that, right, Yeah,
it's crazy, it is.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
I mean, if you look at how time has changed here,
we are about to be twenty twenty six. There's a
documentary that pretty much tells you there's aliens, but ain't
nobody talking about it. If it had been twenty years ago,
it would have shut down all news, all sources, all
social media everything would have been talking about this, and
now it's just like did you see what Nicki Mina
(10:41):
made for things? Y'all more upset about a blue jeans
ad than you are about the fact that they're.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Here wrong with you got a point? You got a point.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
That guy on the corner with the sign open your
eyes people.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I'll be there to back you up.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
I like, I don't know what happened to hm, y'all
this our documentary, A watch it if I disappear because
they're watching the like, hey, shut that guy up now.
The cool thing that I heard is that radio waves
transcend space.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Oh they're listening.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Yeah, So what we're saying now is just being like echo.
So you can you imagine there's assuming their crafts have
the iHeartRadio app because they're that far advanced. So I'm sure.
I'm sure they're good. They got streaming radio. I'm positive
if y'all seen this man hit us on the XL
mobile four one O six seven, because this might be
something we might have to just break down and start
talking about, telling you something has returned this week and
(11:37):
we'll find out if yours back and what is it doing.
I think you know what we're talking about that's coming
up on Johnny's House. I'm with the highest seventy nine
sixty one right now. Baby DJ program is underway, and
if you wrote us a letter, expect to start getting
calls later on in the week. And just go to
babydj dot org and find out how you can help.
We need food for volunteers. So if you have a
restaurant or you just want to order a pizza, just
(11:58):
go to babydj dot org and find out how you
can help us help the community with our Baby DJ program.
And that being said, Christmas is here, Ray what is
supposed to be arriving today?
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Today, most of the elves arrived.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
So if you have an elf on the shelf, most
likely overnights last night, they have arrived.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Oh man, I remember when mine used to be there.
He wrote a lot of notes. And that's why I
hate talking about elf on the shelf because mine.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Was he was busy, yours lazy.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
It was not lazy, he was busy, but he left
notes saying, hey, I got to go for a couple
of days, and uh, you'd be good because I'm watching.
And then you know he popped back up, Yeah, you
know he was. He was, He was he was busy,
you know, yeah, busy. You know, say, hey, I saw
you in school today. See I wasn't I was looking
through the window, oh you know. And then he would
pop up and hang from the ceiling and the light
(12:52):
like days at the time, but he left a note.
And you know, it wasn't like the kid felt abandoned.
He said, hey, oh what what is he? Wake up?
Where's elf? Hey, I noticed that you've been really good today.
So I'm gonna go look at some bad kids. I'll
be back, but don't forget. I'm talking the sound of daily.
And then he would disappear. Wow, and then he would
come back. I would just thinking, if he was going
(13:14):
to take the time to write a note, he could
have done something cool.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Seriously, but the thing he did was right to note.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
I mean that.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
He came back like he said he would.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
He mine. I mean the one had he had another jacket,
he had a motorcycle, he had a sled. He was entitled. Yeah,
he didn't have to work for Yeah, I got it.
One day he's in the sledge hanging from the ceiling.
He was, I mean, you know, he was balling.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Is your kids? What's your what's your kids? Do they
have one of their own?
Speaker 2 (13:44):
They have too, Yeah, we have two alves that show
up and they go back and forth between my house
and uh, their other mom's house. Okay, yeah, they're very busy,
so I mean they still get into miss GV things
even though they're busy like yours.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Hey, look, they're still doing stuff.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
It's not like you know, I said I won't that
elf that was the one that was assigned to my
key to the house. Yeah, you know, if I had
any other way, he'd have been there all the time.
But you know, gotcha.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
So but yeah, so they will most likely be arriving today,
but they're going to be at their.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Other mom's house this morning. So I don't know yet.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
I haven't received any text messages or anything.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Do they know that their elf is showing up today?
Speaker 10 (14:29):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Oh they know.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Yeah, Ok, they know December first usually they arrive. So
but I just know that it is commitments for them
to show up every single day.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
I did. I don't know anything about that. I just
I was mine was livid.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Yeah, I say, at my girlfriend's house. So the ELFs
did show up yesterday, Oh really came a day early?
Speaker 3 (14:53):
And what kind of mischief, did it.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
There was some snow that he wrote on the walls
or on the windows.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
There was some snow and it's nice balloons and stuff.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah, he might used to do crazy.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
His name was Henry.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
He used to do all kinds of crazy stuff. Swim
in the pool, oh wow, Yeah he would. He got
stuck in the freezer one time. He's trying to ice
skate in the freezer, filled up to sink and made
it a pool party with all my my son's other toys. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
He did knock over the flower and do snow angels
one time on the countertop.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah. I think mine spent all his money on clothing stuff. Yeah,
problem didn't end up not the first year. He had
to earn it. But eventually he got a leather jacket
and all that stuff. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
The first year, we you know, he didn't have nothing nice.
We wanted to make sure he was gonna work, okay, okay,
and then we would leave Henry.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Gifts because would leave my son Jaden gifts. Okay, so
Henry would get the gift of a new jacket or something. Okay.
I want to find out if your elf is arriving
or your kid's elf is arriving today, and what if
and if your elf is already gone because the kids
are grown, what are some of the craziest things that
your elf has done? Because there's other elves that are
listening right now and they can probably take some of
(16:00):
those ideas and do it to the kids that they're
watching over. So, Elf on the shelf, have yours arrived?
Are they arriving yet? What's their name? And from the past,
tell us some crazy things that your elf has done?
Four O seven now one nine one O six seven
eight seven seven nine one nine one O six seven
x el Mobile four one oh sixty seven Live street
social media, Wake up, Elf on the shelf, let's talk
about yours on Johnny's house day. And it's gonna be
(16:21):
beautiful today, FOG's gonna burn off the sun and then
close to eighty is a high sixty one right now
talking about elve's on a shelf. And someone called in
and say, what are the official rules of your Elf
on the shelf? So I had to look it up.
Now there's some new elves that are right now traveling
the locations so they can get there before the kid
wakes up. Official rules. Children cannot touch the elf if
(16:45):
a child touches the ELFs it would lose its power
stop moving. Some families have a solution like using the
kitchen tongs is the tongs yes, or even a oven
mit yeah to move if needed, or having the child
write an apology note to sound And that's no game
guaranteed that if you touch it, they'll come back.
Speaker 10 (17:02):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
The elf is a listener, not a talker. If the
elf cannot speak to humans, the elk cannot speak to humans.
But it's a good listener. Those kids can tell their
secrets and their wishes to the elf. Now here's one
I didn't know about mine.
Speaker 9 (17:14):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
The elf moves at night. The elf magically moves from
one spot to find a new one each night and
reports back to Santa about the kids behavior. Because mine,
I come home from work and to move it come
home from school that moved.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
I didn't know that they could maybe yours as a narcolep.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah right, I mean kept saying kind of hours I did.
I mean I can understand that night is all relatives.
It could be daytime and night time.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
We're there for that.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Uh, let's see, and the elves must leave on Christmas Eve,
the elf returns to the North Pole on Christmas Eve
to help Santa with the holiday presentation. And they said,
you should give your elf a name. Naming the elf
is the first step is part of the magical tradition.
So if that is your elf and you're listening, these
are the rules and you should know these things, right
what they're saying over.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
There about the carry said, I'm so thankful my elf
is able to just you know, just sit on the shelf.
And my daughter has grown now, so they did snoop
on a stoop for a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
let's see here. Jingle bell is back, but not quite
mischievous yet.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
She reminded the kids to write their Christmas letters to Sanna.
Gladys and Waldo brought Advent calendars this morning for Mallory's kids.
Well nice, okay, and uh Angeline said they have penny
penny for about ten years now.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Really yep, okay?
Speaker 5 (18:35):
And me, what is sad over my Excel mobile powered
by Attorney Dan Newlyn in a wreck need to check
it's a no brainer, call Attorney Dan Newlin. Someone said
their elf on the shelf delivers stockings of coal to
the house. Well, when the kids are acting up just
to let them know what's coming next. You don't get
it right, get it together. This is what you Christmas
is going to look like.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
You can't wake up in the morning to some cold
that's it'll throw you a whole down. Don't act up, don't.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment news. That's right, all right.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
So Maria Carrey obviously has made music for decades, but
obviously her biggest song, All You Want for Christmas Is
You around this time of year is massive and she
could basically retire because of that song. And what they're
saying is that she brings in around two and a
half million dollars in royalties every single year just from
(19:28):
that one song.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
So just that one song in the January February she
gets a big check.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah yeah, so the estimated claim the annual royalties are
about more than three million dollars.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
But it's just wild that.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
You know, from the song she made how many years ago?
Speaker 1 (19:45):
I think fifteen?
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah wow, yeah, So I mean Mariah isn't the only
one making bank off of it. All I Want for
Christmas was co written by a Russian Brazilian music producer
named Walter and he did a lot of work with
Mariah and then nine nineties, and he has a net
worth of over one hundred million dollars, so he does
get a nice little check as well.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Man.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
But you know what she does promote it. She embraced
the whole Christmas thing, yes, which means that her song
lives one. That's her Vegas residency right now. It's not
selling all that well though, Oh no, like all the
shows they just started on Friday, they said there and
there's not a show that's more than half sold out
right now.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
And then she has the pop up bars too. There's
one I guess there's one in Miami, not local, but
you know, yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
So it hit number one on the Billboard Hot one
hundred for the first time in twenty nineteen. Twenty nineteen,
so after so many years, But.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Congratulations to her. If you talked to.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Or if you saw the latest episode of Keeping Up
with the Kardashians or the Kardashians, whichever you want to
call it nowadays, her doctor diagnosis, I was telling you
that she had that aneurysm that they saw. Well in
the latest episode, the doctor showed her and expresses concern
about some recent brain scans, and he said that there's
(20:59):
a series of holds and her scans which indicate low
brain activity. Basically, her frontal lobe is less active than
it should be. So okay, yeah, it sounds alarming, but
apparently it's not like that into the world. He did
say that these holes impact her ability to handle stress,
which could also be like the aneurysms and all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
But yeah, so good question. It's a good question. I
don't know, if you is there anything you can do
for that?
Speaker 1 (21:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
I'm just saying I don't know, but I guess it's
just something that she's kind of been dealing with on
a daily basis. There's like years long efforts and all
that stuff that she's been like trying to just focus
on when it comes to her brain activity.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
But her stress is Kanye absolutely, yes, that's what a
stress is.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
He says that all the time.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
I'm a million what is she worth? Three billion?
Speaker 9 (21:48):
Now?
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Yeah? But she creates a lot of her own drama too.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey reportedly reconsidering their wedding plans
even though.
Speaker 11 (21:59):
I know.
Speaker 8 (22:00):
So.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
The funny thing is is that we always assume like
we know what's going on, But they may still hold
an intimate Rhode Island ceremony. That's what we were talking
about before, because she has that massive Rhode Island house.
But they're also exploring a second celebration. Options are being discussed,
including going all out at BlackBerry Farm.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
In Tennessee, get the whole farm, or.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Ocean House hotel near Taylor Swift's home. So, I mean,
the couple is even waving weighing like private island options
is what they're saying.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
But well, you know, it's our decision. I mean, they're
really this is the one time when money really is
literally do whatever they want.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah, So I mean a private island would make sense too,
because you know island.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
Yeah, that's what I would do, because then you guarantee
nobody swarms around you.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
And that's what they're saying, like Necker Island or another
Caribbean spot in the mix. So at this point, we
don't even know.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
I guarantee you like I like the island, what do
you think?
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Hunh not?
Speaker 3 (22:56):
I think I like the island too, Yeah, But I.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Feel like it would be stupid for them to be
talking about the wedding during NFL season, right.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I mean, like, I mean, here's the thing. Maybe they're
not talking about it. Maybe they got some friends that
are throwing some things out. You know that's true, you know,
because I'm sure he wants to focus on football. He
needs to focus on so he's not gonna have to
worry about focusing on the wedding anyway.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
He's going to be involved as much as she wanted,
so like it may be really nothing to do with him.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
For him, it's what you think, baby, right, I think
I think that's a great a wonder defense.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
They lost again this weekend, by the way.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
But Panthers won. Just want to let you know they
may not be in the playoffs. Wow, all right, we
come back? What's trend in? First time up? And then
sunny a right? Be what's man? All week?
Speaker 5 (23:39):
I thought I was gonna win the power Ball, but
I did not, and nobody else did either. I was
gonna play in North Carolina's like, well, I know I'm
going because I'm playing Nor.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Carol because you're out of town. No, yeah, no, it's
up to seven hundred and forty million dollars now because
nobody matched. Also number Saturday Night so the drawing is
two nights and you got the odds of winning one
and two hundred and ninety two million, So it could
happen if you do win the powerball. You could receive
the jackpot in thirty annual payments, which would be about
twenty four million dollars a year before taxes. Or you
(24:06):
could take it in one lump sum three hundred and
forty six point one million dollars. Okay once they tax it,
that's probably gonna be close to about two fifty are
going to take close to one hundred million. Time you
talk about the guy who got two billion ended up
with like six six hundred million. Yeah, like that's what
you chose, right, And I'm ad because I got six
hundred million dollars but they say two billion. Yeah, I
(24:26):
mean you got to read the fine print. That's if
you leave it in there for thirty years so they
could pay you out. I'm just taking it up front.
So tonight next drawing chance to win.
Speaker 6 (24:34):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Norrad is just launching it today. There's seventy seventy of
the year of tracking Santa, so they revaent their website.
It's full of games music, there's a countdown Santa's virtual
North Pole village. Kids can follow Santa all the way
through Christmas Eve through the app like special platforms have it,
like Alexa and on Star. There's even a new web
based calling option that ads language support from more than
(24:56):
two hundred different languages, and from four am to midnight,
volunteers will answer calls about Santa's location. That's funny. When
you were saying that, I'm like, no, it's been around
when I was a kid. Yeah, it was eight hundred number.
You call it, tell you what it is.
Speaker 9 (25:09):
Well.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Norrad is like defense, so they make sure that the
skies are clear and we're not getting intact by anyone,
but this time of year they use it to track Santa. Yep.
So you can call one eight seven seven high nor
Rad and then they're gonna switch to the automated system overnight,
so and then you could track it all the way
through Christmas Eve, find out where Santa's at. We just
called what's in it?
Speaker 3 (25:30):
Oh my gosh?
Speaker 8 (25:32):
To do right?
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (25:34):
What's huh? Where are you calling from? North Carolina?
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Where yet same place he was ten minutes ago? Kid?
Stop calling? It was alone and there was a big
shopping weekend shoppers spent eleven point eight billion dollars online
during Black Friday. That's nine point one percent more than
last year.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
People also sent six point six point four billion dollars
on Thanksgiving Day, so they didn't even wait for Black
The busiest online shopping hours between ten AM and two PM,
and for the first time in a long time, phones
were used more than computers to buy everything gone. They
use their phone because a lot of peop don't even
use computers anymore. They use their phone for everything.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
So some of the most popular items video games, systems, electronics,
home appliances.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
We got a sweet deal on a vacuum.
Speaker 11 (26:21):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Yes, you know it's funny my mom's when I was
as soon as I got to my mom's house, her
TV died and I said, Mom, how long have you
had this TV? She said, well when we had this
room built. I'm like, mom had the bed room built
fifteen years. Looked online. Got a Black Friday fifty five
inch for two and fifty dollars. Yep, they delivered it.
It was I'm like, really, oh it is, Yeah, we
(26:43):
got it. We got like a vacuum that's usually like
six hundred dollars. We got for like two hundred and
thirty bucks really, and it's cordless charges and hangs on
the wall like it's it's pretty awesome. Wow. I don't
get excited about vacuums, but I mean it's pretty sweet.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
I need to look into that.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Yeah, it's pretty nice.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
So overall retail sales went up combined both in store
and online, about four point one percent, but the amount
of items people got went down. So things are more expensive.
You're spending more money, yes, but you're getting less You're
getting less stuff.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Oh, just like going to the grocery store. I hate
to be that guy. Now, today's supposed to be a
big shopping day Cyber Monday, Cyber Monday. So yeah, so
they're supposed to be deals on deals basically okay today,
so I'm gonna check some things out today. So that's
just for today. It doesn't last.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
They usually do Cyber Week, like margaritea Ville at C
is doing Cyber Week week, and so they have like
nine hundred and fifty dollars off on cruise packages and
stuff all week.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
What I've noticed is that everybody's gotten into it. There's
vacation places they're like off. I'm like, what we'll go
because like two years ago, probably with COVID, everything flipped
to experiences. So I would rather you buy me an
experience than a gift. And so if I can get
me a cruise for the same price, I can get
whatever it is you were gonna buy, and then I'll
take the cruise. Thank you saw just one thing. It's
like forty percent off. I need to go ahead and
book get this now? Yes, for the summer.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Yeah you can, Like, I mean, I do the commercials
for Margarite devot see, so I know. But you could
book now through twenty twenty seven on their new boat
using the Black Friday deal bill right now.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Yeah, so like it's smart to do. All right, Listen,

now that Thanksgiving is over and people are back, I
want to find out if you had any awkward moments
at your Thanksgiving gathering. We had two in my household.
(29:51):
I'm gonna tell you about to about one earlier. We
have it's known throughout the land, and we have a
dry Thanksgiving. Yeah, everybody knows that. And my niece's new
boyfriend b over a bottle of honey. Now it was
a it was a big bottle. Nice and he was
being nice to me and say, hey, uh, I just
wanted you to got that hand. He want to find
out you won't get a little taste, right, trying to
make good with you. Yeah, I'm like I would hold
was like, I saw a snake on the tail, look around,
(30:14):
put that away. And then my sister came out and said,
we do not have alcohol in this house, and he
had to put it away. Say, I do blame my knee.
She should have told him her fault, not his fault.
He thought he was doing right. Yes. Now the second one,
I brought my girl home for the first time, met
my mom. Mom loves she's a great person, and they
started talking about cooking and my mom says, well, how
(30:35):
do you make your cakes? Baby? I was like, please,
don't tell her, don't tell her. Dunkan hig. No, you
don't make the box Yeah, so you don't do that.
You don't do that and stuff. No, no, no, I
was a box cake. Come on. I'm like, oh, she said,
you do what.
Speaker 7 (30:53):
You know?
Speaker 1 (30:53):
I said, yeah, we don't do that. We don't do
that here. And she said, what else do you make?
She said, I make cookies, but I don't use the
oil and stuf. I put apple sauce in it.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
As long as she didn't go put grapes and chicken
salad raisins in the potato salad.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
You're all right, Mama said to come with me in
the kitchen. And she took it in there and said,
I'm gonna show you how to make a uh my
royal famous Nana pudding.
Speaker 6 (31:16):
Okay, and she I was in the other rooms. Nice look,
let me tell you, I said.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Mama said, have you ever had Southern cooking? I said,
have you ever had soul fools? She said, well, I've
tried some of us. Say, I'm gonna tell you to
make your butt be it. I tell you right now,
because it's made with all anything that is not healthy.
That's what we eat. And uh and it was when
the flavor comes from. I know you don't want to
go in the kitchen when they're cooking. You're like, what
is that? That's fat?
Speaker 3 (31:42):
Back flavor lists, pray, do you know what the fat
bag is?
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Hey, that's how my mom face looked, said she made
she put apple sauce and cookies.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
It just makes me feel like.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
You smelled something. It makes you feel sick.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
Sick. Yeah, but you know that's the.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
First because your body's not used to it. But while
you start craving it, that's all you want, that kind
of thing, any anything, awkward. Uh, dowing together family is good.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
No, no unusual conversation.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Everybody was stood there, you.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Know, Yeah, I know it was pretty good.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
I really alcohol going, yeah, really surprisingly.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
I mean I can't even imagine. I think the personalities
would change because I me, people understand, you got, I'm
not saying my family doesn't drink. I guarantee they drink.
They probably drink a lot, but for those three hours,
they don't. I can't imagine.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
I mean it was mainly tame, which is crazy.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
How many people do you have?
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Well, I had like my family obviously, like my sister's house,
and then the next day I went to Kim's house
and then her family was over, so I had two
separate things given Im.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
Actually had in both houses. What about eight ten?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
About about ten? Yeah? Ten at my sisters and it
was a small one. I Kim's.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
I think we had like sixty.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
That's a lot.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
The dating shift. You don't eat all at once of
course when you get there.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Whatever. We went to a friend's house, so, like, I
really much to worry about, like six yeah, yeah, I
mean you can even keep things in control.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
Yeah, I mean, like you hear conversations that are going on,
but like, it's nothing that's awkward to me because I'm cool,
you know. And then they also deal with like the
blended family thing, so like there's conversations that are being
had about other places.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Every ain't awkward to me at all.
Speaker 7 (33:25):
Cool.
Speaker 5 (33:25):
Yeah, we had to take our We brought our little
dog and she's a terror so we had to take
her home because she was I'm enjoyed this. She was
terrorizing the cats and the other dogs, and so we're like, look,
we'll just take her home. So my wife left in
too grome, but that had already had two old fashions,
so I can't take her home. So so we had
to take her home. Other than that, No, there was
no awkwardness, no weirdness.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
It was nice.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
I had an awkward moment. I was I had to
take an uber home and in the driver for I mean,
I don't know where he was from. I think it
was Middle Eastern. He thought that we had a we
thought the same, and he just started talking about Trump
and back dude, I'm just trying to get home.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Yeah, I'm just trying to go home.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
When they guess your politics, I love it because I'm like, really,
he goes he doesn't like foreigners, he doesn't like black man.
I'm like, bro, I'm just trying to get home. We
ain't having this coming like you to go right, I
don't know what I'm like. Okay, about six more minutes,
I'll be I'm just like, dude, what I wanted to say?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Ay for yawn? Good bro Right you might want to
keep those conversations.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
Yeah, let's do that, all right.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
I want to find out if you had any awkward
moments doing Thanksgiving dinner or in the weekend. We want
to hear about it. Four oh seven now one nine
one O six seven eight seven seven now one nine
one on six seven XL mobile four one o six
seven list three social media. I want to hear from you.
Did you have awkward moments share with us son Johnny's house.
Son is going to come out talking about some awkward
moments that you had during Thanksgiving. We want to hear
(34:54):
all about it. We go go raw real quick. That's
gonna be awkward, all right, excel, good morning?
Speaker 8 (34:59):
Was this.
Speaker 9 (35:01):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (35:02):
This is Gianna. You want to tell us about you
won't tell us about awkward moment?
Speaker 8 (35:08):
Yeah, I want to tell them about an awkward moment
on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
Okay, go ahead, let me get ready for to do that.
Go ahead, Hi, okay, all right from Ocala Kiera, good morning. Okay,
don't listen to the radio, Kiarah, listen to your phone
right here. Okay, there, there you go. That's okay, all right.
(35:33):
So you had awkward moments doing Thanksgiving?
Speaker 7 (35:36):
Oh yeah, completely awkward. I had in laws come down
from New Jersey, and from the minute they arrived, I
mean they were a bottle of jamison in before the
church came out on the friar.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Now, how many people? How many people sitting on that jamison?
Speaker 7 (35:51):
Two people of about twelve people, and well, hold on,
hold on, I got questions.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
What were they mixing it with? It was just over
the rocks. No, it's whoa okay, all right. So by
the time dinner got there, they were they were feeling
really good.
Speaker 7 (36:07):
Before dinner got done, they were feeling really good. And
my my husband's brother ended up getting into a messing
with my dog and my dog ended up biting him.
Speaker 12 (36:18):
He had to go get stitches, and I mean he
found the pool.
Speaker 8 (36:22):
It was all.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
We didn't even eat dinner. I mean, it was the
craziest Thanksgiving that I ever had.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
So what happened to the drunk in laws? I mean,
what what what do they do? They just got drunk
and got stupid.
Speaker 7 (36:33):
They got drunk and when he had to go to
the hospital and get stitches. So we didn't end up
eating until I guess maybe about nine o'clock at night,
after he came out of the er.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Oh, you gotta look at it this way. Not everybody
need to go to the ear person he closest with,
go with him, everybody else talk about him.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Man, hope he's okay. Why you eat your target?
Speaker 1 (36:52):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (36:52):
Yeah, I mean it was It was definitely awkward situation.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Wow, So when did you find it again? When did
you finally end up eating?
Speaker 7 (37:01):
We ate about ten o'clock at night. We ate about
ten o'clock at night from his screaming kids who I
mean them didn't even asking for any help in the
kitchen at all. It was just, I mean it was awful.
Speaker 8 (37:15):
I'll never ever in fight them over again.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Yeah, I mean that's nice of you guys away, But
what kind of dog was it?
Speaker 1 (37:24):
She was a kita and they would messing around with it?
Speaker 3 (37:27):
And what those are mean? What I can be?
Speaker 7 (37:29):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
I'm sorry. I went down like that.
Speaker 8 (37:34):
Well thank you all right, all right.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
This person's still holding on ex al good morning, Hi.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Are you.
Speaker 6 (37:46):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (37:46):
I'm Gianna.
Speaker 7 (37:49):
I wanted to tell you guys about an awkward.
Speaker 8 (37:51):
Moment on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 13 (37:53):
So I was.
Speaker 8 (37:54):
Serving myself when my family said, oh, let's say grace,
And as.
Speaker 12 (38:00):
I was serving myself, everybody.
Speaker 8 (38:02):
Looked at me, and then we just had an awkward
moment and then we all said grace.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
It was that because you was about to eat without
saying grace.
Speaker 10 (38:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
See, so that's why they had to stop you for
the plate and say, hey, let's say grace because you
just decided to start eating.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
Yes, I was hungry, so normally.
Speaker 8 (38:22):
To be honest, my grandma was doing it too.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
So normally so normally, well let's look, grandma's can do
whatever they want to. That's a whole different ball game.
So normally you don't say grace. So you're thinking, that's
why is everybody all knew today saying grace when we
normally don't say grace exactly? Like, Hello, I understand, and
you felt bad because they're looking at you going out,
(38:44):
so you're gonna eat without saying grace.
Speaker 13 (38:48):
Yet, Like I had a long day, I was like working.
Speaker 5 (38:54):
All day, Like, I'm right, let's not bring the Lord
into this. I can't wait ninety seconds to thank you Lord.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I just gotta eat. I got you, Okay. It's weird
because you don't usually to do it right someone's in
at my house. Honestly, I'd be.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
Like, what are we doing here?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
We're going on here videoing. This is just for fun, now,
your little TikTok.
Speaker 8 (39:15):
At the same time, they had me say grace, Oh.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Yeah, what'd you say?
Speaker 12 (39:22):
I said, thank you for the hands that prepare this food.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Amen, bad day to the point, straight to the point.
Why did they pick you.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Because you're the one with about to eat?
Speaker 1 (39:33):
All right? Well, uh, I'm sorry about that. All right,
thank you for sharing that. What's going on? Right? Three
hundred and sixty four days and all of a sudden, right, yeah,
I ain't never known Jesus before. Ray when they say
(39:54):
over there.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
Somebody said, you guys mean that you don't have awkward moments.
I guess the whole thing was awkward for them.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
And then Chrissy said, when my mother in law tell
my kids that this is the last Thanksgiving Day parade
and that they're not going to buy it because they're
not they're not idiots, and they don't believe the propaganda.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
So there's dad.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
I think that's a prediscussion you should have before you
say it to somebody's kids. You need to run that
by their parents before you make a statement like that.
Speaker 5 (40:21):
What exelm will power by Attorney Dan neew An interrect
need to check it's a no brainer.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
Call Attorney Dan new in a few good ones. So
and said, my sister had one job. She was in
charge of the soft drinks.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
She brought two one leader models for twelve people, so
we had to do portion control.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
You get a silp, I get a silk, so said.
Speaker 5 (40:39):
My crazy aunt, did are reading on me with her
crazy cards in front of everyone? No, and said that
she sees me in a dark relationship in my future.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
But I'm married.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
And someone said our whole things giving Godford. My mom
and my sister clearly hate each other, and everyone pretends
to be happy, but nobody is.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
I can't imagine somebody bringing cards, some witchery look away
and the voodoo cards. First of all, top off, this
was some hennessy. I sit down, let me tell you
what really y'all.
Speaker 4 (41:17):
Wow, Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
Uh, some people were now the Johnny's House entertainment news.
That's right, right, entertainment news is brought to you by
Pharaoh's Credit Union.
Speaker 4 (41:29):
So Stranger Things.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
Obviously dropped this weekend, the first part of it, and
minutes after season five volume on dropped, users were all
over social media Instagram, Facebook and all that stuff complaining
about the outage.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
Netflix was out.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
It crashed right before, and so people were saying, Netflix,
fix your fix yourself right now. I've been waiting three
years for this. But people were like, you know, just
yelling at each other, retweeting each other.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
But then somebody said Strangers is back. Everyone shut up.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
So but anyways, Uh, the co creator Ross Duffer had
warned everybody on Instagram earlier, saying that Netflix had increased
it's bandwidth by thirty percent to avoid a crash, but
clearly the surge still was so intense that Netflix obviously
had a little crash, so some members briefly experienced an issue.
(42:22):
Netflix said, but service recovered for all accounts within five minutes.
Oh five minutes, yeah, but people were like, no, no,
it seems like longer than that.
Speaker 5 (42:31):
So well, it does seem like forever when you're trying
to Like when I was trying to watch that live
event on Netflix, it was starting over. Yeah, like even
a couple of minutes made me so mad.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
Yeah that's so true. I forgot about that.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
But see, like for me when I watched Netflix, I'm like,
I found myself with nothing to do at the time,
but something like this. People made events in their homes,
like I look them off the oh yeah, off the day.
I'm gonna put as oude three or four hours. I
got my snack bowl.
Speaker 4 (42:55):
Having like watch parties. We've been waiting for three years.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
I'm a comfy cut blanket all and boom well, and
I pay a lot of money and you've been increasing
my price every year for the last ten years. Yeah,
so where's my quality?
Speaker 6 (43:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (43:11):
I agree.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
Speaking of stranger things, remember I was telling you that
maybe Millie Bobby Brown was allegedly accusing David Harbor of
like bullying and harassment on set. Well, since that report
came out, they've been at the season five premiere together.
There's a new interview and Milly says that she felt
safe working with David.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
So, so where do the story come from?
Speaker 2 (43:32):
I have no idea, but she said we also play
father and daughter, so naturally we have a closer.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
Bond than the rest.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
But they have some really intense scenes together, especially in
season two. She said, David and her have a great relationship.
They work really closely. So I'm like, I.
Speaker 1 (43:48):
Don't know, is this just something that was thrown out
in the media and we maybe maybe?
Speaker 4 (43:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
So, I mean the reports were all over the place,
and again, I don't know if it's just so there's
like hype around the new season, so there's you know,
if there's any publicity, including bad publicity, people are like, okay,
you know they're talking about it.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
And Millie Bobby Brown went to uh Windy Ridge k
through eight for one year.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (44:13):
Cool.
Speaker 4 (44:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
But yeah, So, I mean the second part comes out
later on this month, so I know a.
Speaker 4 (44:18):
Lot of people are gonna be stoked for that too.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
I ain't watching it until the second one comes out.
I'm not doing it.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
You could you have made me wait for I saw
it and I'm like, no, I'm not gonna I'm gonna wait.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
I've waited this long. I'll just wait. So I to
watch it all together.
Speaker 4 (44:31):
I just couldn't get into it.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Really.
Speaker 4 (44:32):
Yeah, the first season. I couldn't get into it.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Yeah, I got into it and then I forgot about it.
Like for me, I'd have to watch the last two
episodes to remember who we are. Yeah, you know, so
I'm a messer around and wait on that one. We
have been true them stories out there, and mostly Sonny,
we had been true. What's up being so for uh?
You know they for thanksgiving a lot of people to
the deep front of the Turkey and you see the
police have to come out and the fire departments to
(44:55):
come out because they burned things down.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
I didn't see any of those videos popping either, so
that's nice. But this guy and Iowa did something just
as dumb. He left a loaded gun in the preheating oven.
Why obviously that caused the gun to discharge multiple times.
People were injured while the gun was firing from the
preheated oven. And when the cops came to investigate the shooting,
(45:17):
they found that he had a quote delivery quantity of
marijuana on him.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
It was Thanksgiving man. Yeah, so now he's in He's
in possession of two firearms as a felon, which is bad,
and possessions of a controlled substance with intent to deliver
and that's how he spent his Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
So he was hiding a gun from somebody.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Yeah, you know the oven, come on, maybe somebody popped
in got you.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
Know, natural selection for this kind of people.
Speaker 5 (45:43):
And so we've been talking about this documentary about the
aliens and stuff. One of the other things that people
always talk about whether or not we're living in what
they called a simulation.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
I heard about that one too, right, So you know,
everyone's like, is this real? Are we just a computer
assimilation created created by a far more intent, intelligent or
board species like maybe these aliens. Where there's a new
study out that claims to have found the definitive answer
to that question. They say, through extensive research, they've concluded
that a fully consistent and complete description of reality cannot
(46:14):
be achieved through computer simulations and computations alone.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
So they didn't rule out that there's.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
Some sort of simulation going on, but entire being in
humanity cannot be a computer simulation, according to these scientists.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
So I'm just kind of cured. Whatta they use? Yeah,
and we've.
Speaker 5 (46:36):
Always heard about these the birds aren't real theory that
the birds are fake. Well, there's a Russian company now
that started testing actual pigeons with brain implants that let's
be controlled like drones. They put tiny wires in their brains.
They give small backpacks with solar panels and cameras and
GPS control systems and they can fly them like actual birds.
Speaker 1 (46:55):
But they're they're fybirds. Basically. Yeah, they've got they and
they have brain control and they have you know, little
GPS systems and it's all solar panelty power at all.
They said they don't need to train them at all
because they fly them themselves. They said the surgery doesn't
hurt the birds. They tested the pigeons in Moscow and
they say the birds fly up to three hundred and
(47:16):
ten miles a day. They plan to use bigger birds
like ravens and seagulls for different jobs. So the birds,
while they are real, they might be actual spy birds
from Russia. What's gonna happen as soon as they find
out that that's true, they're just gonna shoot them.
Speaker 5 (47:32):
But how you got to be able to identify it?
Like I don't know how big and small these little
implant things are, but so.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
Why did you shoot it? I thought them spying on me?
Just like, don't just go shooting pigeons. Wow, oh they
can spile me. Ain't see none. If I saw Spobby
and I'm like, what's that.
Speaker 5 (47:46):
Buck well, yeah, he must have got the wrong gps cot.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Absolutely right. I mean you looking for the White House.
That's gonna be north a little bit. Keep on going, player,
keep all going. All they say that you should be
onst done with your leftovers. Hit us right now if
you still have Thanksgiving leftovers in the refrigerator left to
eat four oh seven not one nine one o six
seven eight seven seven now one nine one o six seven.
(48:11):
Want to get ahead of it and call us now leftovers?
Do you have any leftovers? Are they all gone? Four
oh seven not one nine one o six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one o six seven. We're
gonna talk about that next on Johnny's House. None and
the fox should be gone and mostly sunny today. A
lot of you is like, you know what Thanksgiving is?
Officially over, family's gone. A lot of the day is
a big travel day.
Speaker 5 (48:32):
Yes, at the f I didn't know that a lot
of people stayed until today today.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
Yeah, yeah, but what they said about them leftovers be all?
Speaker 1 (48:37):
I mean, today is the day you're supposed to get
rid of it if you don't eat it by today,
because it's been four days since Thanksgiving. So even though
there's some people that push a little longer, obviously, and
a lot of people do it on Sunday, Yeah, some
things do last longer, but they say pretty much everything
according to the USDA, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, swep potatoes, green beans, gravy,
pumpkin pie, all that's good for three to four days,
(48:58):
which is today at that point, and give it away.
So you either got to freeze it or do something
with it. If it's real good, you freeze it, yes, Yeah.
If it's not, you're gonna try to snack on it.
If not, you end up just dumping it because at
this point, what's left over is the leftovers of your
leftovers because all the good stuff got knocked out early. Yeah. Yeah, see,
I wasn't able to see I was flying, I was
not able to take any with me. And the last
(49:20):
thing you want to do is pat contain us and
want pop over. Yeah, and the juice come out. Okay,
So I just said, you know what, I wrap it. No,
I've seen it wrapped up, and the juice goes through
the no, Yeah, no, I'm good. Are you taking the leftovers?
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Yeah? So we had some leftovers Saturday and Sunday, so yeah,
so I'm done with it.
Speaker 1 (49:42):
Yeah, yeah, we well, so we went to someone's house.
We didn't bring a whole lot home with us. Okay.
Speaker 5 (49:49):
We did have our own honey baked ham that we
bought just for our house, even though we weren't going
to be there. Yeah, we bought a small one because
we love to just for days after eat on it.
So we made sliders with the Hawaiian bread with the
honey baked hand for days now and we're down to
the very end of it, and my wife wants to
use the bone to make a soup.
Speaker 1 (50:07):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (50:08):
That's the other thing that we had was a banana pudding. Yeah,
and that is gone, so we're we're good.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
We don't really have any leftovers left, so you can't
You can't really freeze out of pudding hand.
Speaker 3 (50:19):
I don't think. I don't think you probably could, but
I don't think.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
It would be good. That's one of those eat it.
It's when I was like, I don't want to eat it,
but I don't want to go bad, So yeah, give
you a reason to do so from Orlando, Preston. What's
going on in Preston?
Speaker 9 (50:35):
Good morning.
Speaker 8 (50:36):
How you guys doing today?
Speaker 1 (50:37):
Good man? Got your leftovers left over?
Speaker 10 (50:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (50:40):
I still have ham and rice the primarily made is gone.
Speaker 1 (50:47):
So what's wrong with the hand?
Speaker 7 (50:48):
What?
Speaker 3 (50:49):
What didn't Why did't the people of the hand. What
happened to the ham?
Speaker 8 (50:53):
Oh no, the kids have been snacking on it.
Speaker 9 (50:56):
But today I'm gonna take the rest and make a
hand soup because my grandmother.
Speaker 1 (51:02):
Now was it a honey baked ham or one that
you put together yourself? They are making a killing during
the holidays. I know what my little ton of ham costs.
Oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
They had like people directing.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
This is there, this is their season. The one I
went to, they were on point. We were like, I
have my little QR code and standing up they got
me out. But there was one I saw up north
that had like six seven hour wait. Now here's the
thing though, if you ain't got your little QR code,
they treat you like, uh, you got a cold now
standing that line over there because they have for me.
You can't take my ham. Oh my goodness, and they
(51:37):
have enough ham. You going there with the car cold?
They get your ham and you just walk. It's like
it's like, don't look up at nobody, just keep in lying.
Slide to the right. QR code is yours. Here's your ham.
You know, get out. I'm like, man, so all right,
well so you're gonna make a ham soup? Yeah, and
what do you what do you put? What do you
put in your ham soup?
Speaker 9 (51:57):
It's the ham. I add some dumpling fish handmade dumplings Jamaica.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
Okay, I hear you, Preston, I hear you. Okay, I thought.
Speaker 9 (52:07):
I just throw the.
Speaker 3 (52:09):
Ham in thet those beans.
Speaker 8 (52:12):
Okay, I might throw some of the leftover rights in.
Speaker 9 (52:15):
There, just so there's some kind of starch in there.
That's not the dumplings, because my daughter doesn't really like dumplings.
Speaker 3 (52:23):
Okay, Well, pressing, thank you, thank thanks for sharing that.
I appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (52:26):
Man Worries, thank you, thank you. All right, you have
blessed as well.
Speaker 2 (52:31):
Right, what they said, there's a couple of people that
are making some soups is but obviously the turkey sandwiches
and ham and eggs for breakfast.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
Okay, see that that sounds good.
Speaker 5 (52:43):
I let's the XL mobile Power by Attorney Dan Newlin
interrect need to check. It's a no brainer.
Speaker 1 (52:47):
Just call attorney Dan newl And someone said, there is
a reason we buy the twenty four pack of Hawaiian
rolls every year so we can make those sliders. They've
been doing it all weekend. Yeah, let's see. Someone said
absolutely all the leftovers is sitting right next to me
on the way to work. And then someone said they
wish they had Thanksgiving left words, but they didn't get
any this year. Oh so they did it all.
Speaker 5 (53:07):
Yeah, they made someone else made pop pies. They made
eight pop pies. They are gonna freeze them with the turkeys.
Here's the thing with the turk, with the ham sandwiches
and the slider. After two days you're like, I don't
want it, and then on the third day you're like
I don't want it, but then you eat it.
Speaker 3 (53:20):
Like okay, I'll eat it.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
We ate it for two days and then on the
third day I said, look, I could eat hamm again.
Speaker 5 (53:27):
I couldn't good. But could we please do something else? Yeah, like,
I'll pay for it. You tell me what you want,
I'll go get it. If there's nothing else, You're like, well,
give me a bag of chips with it. I'm just
going keep it going, keep it going, all right.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
We come back on and talk about when's the last
time you've seen a show or a TV show or
movie or something that you couldn't stop talking about because
Bron Now, all right, now, over the weekend, you know,
we try not to bother each other when when we're
on vacation, but every now and then we'll check in
and see, hey, how y'all doing. Everybody's good? Everbody's good,
Happy Thanksgiving, happy Birthday, all that good stuff. How does
the Blue bron just break through? Dom? I'm telling you, man,
(54:02):
watching this documentary, we are doomed. What's the name of
the documentary again? Age of Disclosure? Okay? And what do
you find that?
Speaker 5 (54:10):
It's on Amazon Prime? Yeah, and you got to pay
for it, so like you can rent it, you can
buy it whatever. But I mean, yeah, twenty yeah, I
bought it because I wanted to rewatch as much as
I want, Okay, because it's super interesting. But I mean
everyone's been talking about it because they're starting to declassify
a lot of you know, alien UAP that's what they
(54:32):
call them now UFO type information. So and so's it's
basically the interview process with a lot of people that
are involved in the fight to get everything declassified, and
how far back it goes and how far reaching it
is and what it really could mean for everything. And
I literally I cannot stop talking now after watching this
is no doubt in your mind that there's life out there.
(54:55):
There's no doubt in my mind that there is life
out there that's currently right here, right here listening potentially
even listening to us right now, not because they love
Johnny's House, but just because that's the way the world works. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
one hundred percent. There is literally you couldn't convince me otherwise.
After watching my wife at this point, every time I
started to talk, she's like, oh, here we go.
Speaker 4 (55:15):
Yes, she's done with you.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
Aliens again, and they literally everything and where you started it.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah, we started it last night. It is very very interesting.
Speaker 3 (55:24):
Now, are you scared?
Speaker 4 (55:26):
I'm not scared.
Speaker 2 (55:28):
I'm just like blown away that we've had this information for.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
For decades because you paid twenty bucks you got to
find out. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
I mean, like these people that worked for like government
officials or like in the you know, in the military,
and they're like sitting down and doing these interviews.
Speaker 4 (55:43):
It's wild.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
What is the last movie you saw or last TV
show you saw that you just can't get off your
mar You can't stop talking.
Speaker 4 (55:50):
About probably Hunting Wives.
Speaker 1 (55:53):
That's funny because that that's that's my Yeah, Ray was
telling me for a long time, Johnny, I know you'd
like it, yet watch it, no, honey wife.
Speaker 3 (56:00):
Yeah, that ain't my kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (56:03):
I love that show just.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
Because there's so many like different twists and turns and
I yeah, I thought it was.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
I'm on episode six and I did not expect to
see some of the love scenes I saw. Oh yeah
it was, I mean, and and there was one scene where, uh,
somebody's brother came to the door and it was straight
dang lang. Oh yeah, I'm good he came to do it.
But is that necessary at all? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (56:32):
I really liked Britney Snow before, but I love.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
See Now. I don't wantnybody tell me because I got
three episodes left to find out what the plot line
is going through. Uh, but it's about these wives, rich
wives in Texas. Yeah, and they all like hunting and
guns and the way the friendships in the twine and
something happened and who did it? I've heard a lot
of people discuss it. Oh yeah, it's it's I had
no idea. I know.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
Tago Ball was like, hey man, you gotta watch it.
Speaker 1 (57:02):
John. I'm like, you're suggesting the meet and watch the
show called The Hunting Wives.
Speaker 10 (57:06):
I know.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Yeah, And then I told him this morning. He was like,
don't tell me. I only see two episodes, but yeah,
it's one of those that you see you get caught
up in and it's like, like last night, I had
to go to bed.
Speaker 3 (57:16):
I had to go to bed, and I had to
turn it off.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
And that's the hardest thing is when you're watching you
get you get you know, locked up in a series,
and uh, the next episode is the cliffhanger. Yeah, you
gotta turn it off. Yeah, you from I can pick
it up tomorrow. But that was that was mine too.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
Yeah, nobody wants This is another one that I thought
was really really it's uh the girls I have, like
the sisters that have a podcast, person bells in it.
Speaker 1 (57:41):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I saw I saw them. I
think I watched one episode and she started dating a rabbi,
but then he quit being a rabbi and people think
because he dated her.
Speaker 4 (57:49):
Yes, yeah, yeah, convert.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
Yeah, okay, you like that one too. They got a
season two coming.
Speaker 1 (57:56):
Now. I didn't see the Hunting Wives and Hunting Wives
all the way through yet, but it's that gonna be
a season. They wrapped it up, Yes, there is, because
it came from a book.

Listen. It's three, three different seasons. She's defending three different people.
But there's so many plotswists in it. It's just it's
so so good my work life. Jennifer told me about it,
and I was hooked from.
Speaker 1 (59:56):
Season one Reasonable Doubts on Hulu. Yep, I got to
write that one down and let's go to gonna tell
us the plot line and who killed what?
Speaker 9 (01:00:04):
From?
Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Can send me Joe Ane? Good morning, good morning?
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
All right? What is the movie or a show that
you just can't think about? You just think about it
all the time. You got to talk about it? What's
your show?
Speaker 10 (01:00:14):
The secret of Skinwalker Ranch?
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
The secret of how come I've never heard of these shows?
I never heard a secret of Skinwalker Ranch? Tell me
about it?
Speaker 10 (01:00:22):
Yes, well, it started out that they were reporting skin
walkers in Utah. But it's a privately owned.
Speaker 8 (01:00:33):
I don't know what it's called ranch that.
Speaker 10 (01:00:37):
They're finding out all these things about.
Speaker 8 (01:00:39):
UFOs and that's all the things.
Speaker 10 (01:00:42):
The government hasn't told us about, and the FBI has involved,
the government's.
Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
Involved, and what the what?
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
What?
Speaker 9 (01:00:48):
What?
Speaker 7 (01:00:49):
In five seasons?
Speaker 3 (01:00:50):
How did you see it. I mean, what what network
or payprint?
Speaker 8 (01:00:54):
It's on Lifetime and not Lifetime.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
Discovery Discovery Secret of skin Walker ran Okay, I've never.
I mean i've never. I guess I don't watch that
much TV. Like Chelsea from Eustace, Good morning, Good morning.
All right, Chelsea. What is a show that you just
can't get off your mind?
Speaker 13 (01:01:17):
Mine is Don't Blink with Cat?
Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
Oh yeah, I heard about that. Yeah, I heard that
people go crazy when they mess with a cat. Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:01:26):
Like anytime anyone recommends a show for like to binge
watch if you like true crime, investigative with twists and turns,
it's it.
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
Yeah, I won't tell. I won't tell the end of
that one. I didn't see it, but I remember people
talking about it a lot. Ray what they shake?
Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
Let's see here, House of Guinness.
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Yeah, yeah, I think.
Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
I mean, that's the story of Guinness, and I think,
if I'm not mistaken, when they first opened, one of
the brothers was kidnapped hell for ransom.
Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
Yeah, of course, somebody said lost. It's the only show.
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
That I haven't go ahead and give them the warning.
It's good up to what? Yeah about season four?
Speaker 4 (01:02:04):
Yes, somebody wants to know the name again, Brian if
the documents.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Oh, it's called age of disclosure.
Speaker 9 (01:02:10):
Disclosure.
Speaker 5 (01:02:11):
Yeah, this one called me dumb for payings for something whatever.
Man By Tourney, Dan Newlan Interact, need to check. It's
a no brainer. Just call it toorney Dan Newlan. Let's
see mind Hunter on Netflix had me on a choke
hold for two years. Ye, yep, mind Hunter, Yep. The
Chosen on Amazon Prime. They said, that's the story of
(01:02:32):
Jesus Christ. That one's got them mm hmmm, so that
that one's on there. Let's see School Spirits, the Murder Murders.
I've seen a bunch of highlights of that I've never
watched yet. And The Chief of War on Apple TV.
Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Yeah, I still can't watch the one about the neighbor
from Okala, the one I still haven't watched.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
I can't watch that. Yeah, I heard it say it is.
Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
Yeah, it is very very sad.
Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
Yeah, I haven't watched that one.
Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
You'll it makes you yeah, I mean just because it's
just like you see it and it's local at Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
All right, Uh, Tasha, first one, and we're gonna hook
you up with a bunch for two with Tibby's new
Orlan kitchen. Find out about the brunch starting on uh
Sundays from ten to two. Just go to Tibby's dot com.
Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Right, what's going on now the Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
That's raight all right if you are a Jonas brother
fan or Nick Jonas. He actually just announced that he
has a new solo album coming. Okay, So his new
solo album is going to be called The Sunday Best
and it's releasing on February sixth.
Speaker 4 (01:03:36):
So there you go. If you are, they're still on tour,
they off to it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
You know, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
Sure if they're I think they're still touring. I want
to say that they are.
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Uh yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
So also this morning, fifty cent is going to be
sitting down with Robin Roberts Robin Roberts to talk about
his docu series about Sean Diddy Kong.
Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
You said people thought he was joking.
Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
Yes, everybody thought that he was joking.
Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
But he's actually sitting down with Robin Robins Roberts this
morning to talk about their feud.
Speaker 4 (01:04:06):
And he just posted on social.
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Media he said, I put two of his kids in
my script to TV shows. What feud are they talking about?
And then he said, I just didn't like how he
said fruity stuff to me.
Speaker 4 (01:04:18):
So yeah, so he's got said he wanted to take
sho y yes, and so yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
So but the crazy thing is is that this docuseries
is coming out tomorrow. The docuseries that fifty cent has
put together about Shandaecombs is dropping tomorrow. So what they're
saying is that it's coming to Netflix. And from what
this looks like, it's it's four four episodes, So what's.
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
It going to do?
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
Take you through the beginning to where it is noways
Sean Colmes.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
The Reckoning is going to premiere four episodes on Netflix tomorrow.
It will future never before seen at materials, which they
promised to be explodi explosive, including exclusive interviews from those
in Sean Diddy Combs his world.
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Did you hear? What about what he did for Thanksgiving?
What he bought? He financed everybody in the prison to
have a great Thanksgiving meal? Oh nice? He paid for great.
It's like, hey, can we have turkey? You're gonna pay
for it? Well yes I can. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:05:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:05:17):
So I mean the fact that fifty cent just trolls
whoever he wants, and then he has postal a docu
series that everybody.
Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
Thought was a joke. It is officially coming tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
So the best of the worst thing to happen to
everybody is when he sold what was that water? And
then at that point he became filthy rich gloves off. Yeah, yeah,
you can't mess it.
Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
Now he owns his own production company, make whatever he wants,
whenever he wants.
Speaker 4 (01:05:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Ariana Grande that she has resurfaced in an old interview, Uh,
that kind of just reminds fans that commenting on somebody's.
Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
Body is not something that she supports.
Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
In her Instagram post and her story, she talks about
how she wanted to make sure that her fans saw
her old comments on this issue because obviously they are
still commenting on the way that she looks for appearance.
But she said, in today's society, there is a comfortable
situation where people are just like, you know, you feel
like you have the right to comment on other people's
(01:06:12):
looks and appearances, And she said, what they think is
going on behind the scenes or health reasons and how
they present themselves. She thinks it's very dangerous that people
think that they have the ability to just comment like that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
You know how when you see someone that there's a
thought that always flash into your head. And for me,
it's not her her size of weight, it's her looking
on the donut.
Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
Oh my gosh, I know, I know.
Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (01:06:37):
There's like so many things, even like with Miley Cyrus
now that she's like a grown woman now and she's.
Speaker 3 (01:06:43):
Changed by shows. Yeah, with the.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Foam finger and all that stuff. I know, it's such hood.
I always think about those bad things. But yeah, so
she reshared the old interview just to remind people to
stop commenting people's bodies.
Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
I think part of it is when you become a celebrity,
you just expect it, like, I know it's not cool,
but like that's what you signed up for. And then
your response can be hey, dummy, shut up. Yeah, like
that's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:07:08):
But it's just like it's unfortunate because she is a
little bit like smaller than she was before. And so
when it came out that she had COVID, people ran
with the headline saying, oh Ariana Grande has an illness,
thinking that I had something to do with her.
Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
Wait, it had nothing to do with that.
Speaker 5 (01:07:23):
Like they killed bb Rexick because she gained a bunch
of way, which, by the way, I think she looks great.
Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
But her thing was like I don't care, shut up,
and it's like anything we've mentioned this before for her.
I guess the waight thing bothers her because we could
talk about her locking donuts for days. She's like, I'll
go to here, right, Yeah, that doesn't bother me. That
does nothing to me.
Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
I think for a long time, media us included got
away with saying it without getting clapped back.
Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Yeah. Yeah, I think more celebrities need to clap back.
Speaker 5 (01:07:46):
And it's like, if you want to ask a dumb question,
I'm going to give you a dummy answer.
Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
And that's what you get.
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
But what else We're like, oh, okay, maybe we need
to back off this, but the troll will be like, gosh, yeah,
she commented on mine. Yes, they're gonna lose, lose situation
most definitely, but you get paid a lot. Well.
Speaker 5 (01:08:03):
It's a rough season for the Florida Gators and the
Florida State Seminoles as far as college football coach, and
it did come to an end this past weekend, so
neither team is Bowl eligible because the Gators beat Florida
State to keep them from becoming bowl eligible. So had
the Florida pulled it out, they would have been able
to go to a bowl game. But now they can't.
So their seasons are officially over.
Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
And any good play the hat is running.
Speaker 5 (01:08:23):
Yeah, we'll see how that goes. But they also made
some coaching changes. So the Gators officially hired their new
head coach. He's Tulane head coach John summer All. They
were hoping to get Lane Kiffin. He bolted for LSU,
so that didn't happen. So they hired John summer Off.
And I mean Mike Norvel staying at Florida State. They've
already said that, so they're gonna stay the same. But
right down the street in South Florida, their coach got
(01:08:46):
a little upgrade. So South Florida's head coach, Alex Golish
is going to Auburn.
Speaker 3 (01:08:50):
Auburn.
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:08:51):
So they had a great season. They won nine games
over in Tampa.
Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
So they are in the hunt technically for the college
ball playoffs still. But see, but all these coaches, you know,
it's at upgrade. It's like, you know, you want to
just say, but it's a lot of precious it is.
If you don't win, you get destroyed and kicked out. Yeah,
they're jumping up to a bigger league, bigger payday. So
oh yeah, so that there will be no more Florida
State of Florida football this year. But they did get
(01:09:15):
a new coach in Gainesville, which is I guess. The
Oxford University Press is named the word or phrase of
the Year this year. They say it is rage bait.
It's manipulative tactics used to drive engagement online by increasing rage.
And they say the use of that has gone up
like triple over the last year. It's just crazy people
(01:09:37):
just sit around to do that. Yes, oh that's all
X is? Can I how can I make you react
to me? And it doesn't have to be factual, it
doesn't have to be intelligent.
Speaker 5 (01:09:46):
It baits me all the time. I'm the worst because
I want to tell you how you're wrong. So it's
the worst for people like you got them god hundred.
It was like as soon as I reply, I'm like,
damn it, they got So that's a rage bait. At
every year, PNC calculates the prices of all the gifts
listed in the twelve days of Christmas. So they just
(01:10:07):
came out this year, So according.
Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
To comparison from last year, if you happen to have
that in front of you, yeah, So.
Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
They have the total comparison, they don't have each individual breakdown.
So according to the P and C Christmas Price Index,
if you buy everything included in the song for your
True Love, it's going to set you back fifty four
and seventy six dollars and twelve cents this year. And
that's now if you buy that's if you buy everything
in the song.
Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
How much was it last year?
Speaker 5 (01:10:30):
So overall that's up four and a half percent over
last year all average. Yeah, so five gold rings, that
was a big jump, cause gold went up a lot
this year, So thirty two percent increase in your five
golden rings. The par tree costs thirteen percent more than
it did last year. Really, but a lot of the
bird prices didn't go up. So they'll break it down
for you real quick. Partridge in a para tree four
(01:10:52):
hundred and twenty. How much of the Ladies dance I'll
get you there? Two turtle doves gonna cost you seven
hundred and fifty bucks. Three French hen it's gonna cost
you three hundred and forty six bucks. So four calling
birds six hundred dollars, the five golden rings, that's going
to be the most expensive. Sixteen hundred and fifty bucks.
Six geese a laying even with the price eggs, I
figured that would go up, but nine hundred and thirty bucks.
(01:11:13):
Swans of swimming thirteen thousand dollars. Now, want some maids
of milking milky only fifty eight dollars because they don't,
you know, get them. They don't get home, the maids.
They're just gonna melapt it, okay. Nine ladies dancing eight thousand,
eight hundred and fifty six dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
I want to look at my ladies to the main stage.
Speaker 5 (01:11:32):
Hey, but now it's gonna cost you a little more
for the thunder down on their Ten Lords of Leaping
sixteen thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
Baby, If you.
Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
Want some pipers piping, that's gonna be three thousand, seven
hundred ninety seven dollars. Drummer's drumming four thousand, one hundred
and six dollars. So, now, if you bought everything and
added it up, because you know you buy it every day,
if you bought it all as many times as they
say it in the song two hundred and eighteen thousand,
four hundred and fifty dollars and ninety eight cents.
Speaker 1 (01:11:59):
Again, that's up four percent from last year. It's the gold,
That's what it is.
Speaker 3 (01:12:03):
The gold, and that's good. That's a good thing though.
Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
All right, we'd come back going to find out if
anybody did any Black Black Friday shopping, and we got
tickets the Universal Orlando Resort to give away next and
seventy nine is our high today. We want to find
out if you anybody do any real Black Friday shopping.
They had a situation in Charlotte when I was there
that people are mad. I won't say the name of
the of the store, but they stood outside to get
some special gift. I saw it and it wasn't what
(01:12:28):
they expected, like some candy. But yeah, they were outside
and it was cold and they didn't get what they wanted.
So I think somebody called the police. I didn't see
that you're talking about. I'm like, wait a second, like
when did they start lining up outside again? Because my
first thing was like, Okay, don't be mad. If you
waited outside for that, that's on you. But if they
didn't know that's what they were waiting on Okay. Yeah,
(01:12:49):
they thought they would get one thing and they got
another because in their mind they thought they were gonna
get something bigger. And I thought about you race, So
you've just done with the whole Black Friday. Did you
do any shopping?
Speaker 4 (01:13:00):
I mean online, that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
That's it.
Speaker 4 (01:13:02):
I didn't really, I didn't go out to the stores
or anything this weekend. It's just so crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
And my dad said it like on Thanksgiving. He's like,
I don't see you guys in the newspaper and talking about.
Speaker 4 (01:13:11):
Going Friday shopping. It's done, yeah, because.
Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
I mean the stores don't open until again six o'clock
Friday morning, which is good.
Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
It's funny. I've been here so long that I've watched
the transition from it started. I think it was they
started opening up at nine, and then they did midnight,
and then they did six am, and then after six
am it just kind of disappeared. Yeah, because I mean
we used to do Black Friday broadcast and it was
packed at the mall. Yeah, the mall, and everybody was there.
When I worked in retail, they would start lining up
(01:13:41):
at like midnight to get in at like six am. Really,
that's when I worked in retail before I was in radio.
Speaker 5 (01:13:46):
Yeah, and then they pushed it back earlier, like it
started opening midnight on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
Yeah, yeah, on Thanksgiving night, and then it started like
at six seven o'clock that night and then it just
kind of just kind of disappeared. Now.
Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
And when I was in Charlotte, I went behast. The
mall was packed.
Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
I mean it was I guess people still got that
tradition of actually getting up and going to the mallah.
Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
Yeah, because there ares I mean, like Target's been doing.
There were Black Friday deals this whole week.
Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
Yeah, you know a lot of them are online, so
you don't have to wait. Yeah, like I said I
mentioned earlier, listening to the podcast or you get caught up.
Went to my mom's house, turn on. The TV was dead.
They had sound, but the TV the channels. I went
to Walmart dot com Black Friday sale for sixty inch
TV two hundred and thirty bucks delivered for free. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:14:29):
Perfect.
Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
I had a TV in the house in forty five minutes.
Speaker 4 (01:14:32):
Yeah, that just ball.
Speaker 5 (01:14:33):
That's what we did with the vacuum that we bought.
My wife bought it online BestBuy dot com. I bought
online for in store pickups rolled, they brought it out
to her. She got just kept on home driving. They
just make everything everything so convenient.
Speaker 1 (01:14:46):
And today is cyber Monday, and that's why everything is
supposed to go on sale if you mind online, and
they expect billions. Yeah. Now, the one thing that I
saw over the weekend is that they didn't know what
to expect this year with holiday shopping.
Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
With terror.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
Some prices are going up and groceries going up. But
they broke records. Yeah, Friday broke records. But you're getting
less stuff. That's one of the things that came out.
You're buying less items if you're spending the same amount
of money, so financial records. Yeah, but like you as
the consumer, you're taking home less for your dollar than
you did last year. So it's funny because when when
I hear that, I'm thinking people are spending more, meaning
they're getting more.
Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
Yeah, like they're doing great.
Speaker 5 (01:15:21):
Every everybody's doing great. No, you're still financially doing as
well as you did. If you're spending the money. Yeah,
you're just.
Speaker 1 (01:15:26):
Walking away with less stuff. So before it's like when
you go to grocery the grocery store, now four hundred
bucks used to get eight bags. Yeah, like maybe one.
Speaker 5 (01:15:35):
It half right, So that's what the studies are showing
that they're spending more money. I think something like maybe
nine percent more, but they're also leaving with less things.
Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Anything you're looking for today, Brian No, I mean like
we don't do a lot of gifts.
Speaker 5 (01:15:47):
Like I said, like, we're planning for a big trip
next year to Europe, so we're not spending a bunch
of money on stuff. My wife did want the vacuum,
so I said, cool, merry Christmas, got you covered, and
you know that. Look know your audience. My wife wanted
to vacuum exactly. If that works for your wife, wonderful.
It isn't also wonderful. That's what she wanted.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
She want it for two years, but it's too expensive
and it was on sale, so we bought it. But like,
I don't have to buy a whole bunch. I'm gonna
get my son like a gift card. And my kid
wants cash. He got dad. Here's the thing. I have
a PS five in my house. I've had it when
they first came out. One guy said, hey, man, you
know I saved you one and I paid for a
top dollar. I didn't get eas for free. He played
(01:16:26):
with the thing three times and I'm like, I'm not
buying you that kind of stuff. This thing called like
a five hundred bucks. So he says, now he just
wants cash. You get cash the last couple of years.
What are you gonna buy them?
Speaker 9 (01:16:37):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
Can I buy you something some clothes, some clothes and
put under the tree. You know that kind of thing.
All right, So I want to find out from you.
Did you do any Black Friday shopping? Is there anything
you're looking forward to to buying on Cyber Monday? Did
you go to the mall and check it out? Or
you're just sitting back watching people love that energy. I
remember we did that broadcast that Brian was just talking about.
It took two and a half hours to get out
(01:16:59):
of the arcade.
Speaker 5 (01:17:00):
Yes, they used to get a hotel room, Yes, at
the Fordham All Hotel. That's because we were never going
to be able to find a hoyster part not get out.
Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
Adrenaline, right, I mean, like I diving for towels that
were like dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
I just still don't understand how they put that that
stuff in the middle of the floor, untied it on
the pall on the palette, untied it and backed away
and not thinking something bad was workout. I used to
love waking up Thanksgiving, UH that Friday morning watching all
that stuff happens all right?
Speaker 9 (01:17:27):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:17:28):
I got a pair of tickets to enjoy the holidays
at Universal Orlando Resort. Enjoy Christmas in the Wizarding World
of Harry Potter across three spectacular theme parks, Universal Holidays Parade,
feature in Macy's All plus the Mischief and Mary Grinch
Muss at Sous's Landing. It's all happening now through January

tell us about your shopping. Did you get to the mall?
Did you use some Black Friday shopping? There's something you're
(01:17:49):
looking to buy special today four oh seven now one

sixty seven live stream, drop a comment. Want to hear
from you about your shop and have you done any
Let's talk about it on Johnny's House. Can anybody go
out Black Friday shopping? Or you're waiting the cyber Monday?
What is the deal? We need to find out, what's
going on? How was it? If he went out there?
Got tickets to enjoy the holidays at Universal Orlando Resort
(01:18:12):
and we'll be broadcasting there a week from Friday.
Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
Yo, week from Friday. Let's go nationally from Longwood Nashally, good.
Speaker 14 (01:18:18):

Speaker 7 (01:19:39):
They got to make him up.
Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
But you already got a stand she has. Second, she's
thinking about her dad. Now the division you've had to
your father all this time. Now you find out you
got a brother that's eighty four.
