Speaker 1 (06:40):
We're back now. But radio is twenty four hours a
day and sometimes it breaks, and it just happened to
break when we're on the air. Of some sad news.
If you are a fan of the Post Time Lounge
Cafe in Longwood, they made a post the other say,
the general manager posted on social media. Due to circumstances
beyond my control and with a heavy heart, I unfortunately

(07:02):
have to inform you that the Post Time Lounge Cafe
and Patio will be closing November two. We appreciate your
continued support during this difficult time. So if you one
of those and it's been around for a long time.
When I first moved to town, they took me two
places to the dog Track and then right down the
street to the Post Town Lounge, and the thing is

(07:23):
if you know about the Post Time Lounge, everything around
it has changed except the Post Time Lounge. Yeah, and
now it is going in Brown. You were there a
couple weeks ago, about a month and a half ago. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (07:34):
We It's kind of in between our house in Sanford first,
so we meet friends there.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (07:40):
And I grew up going to my grandma's house in Longwood,
which was in the neighborhood right behind Post Time Lounge.
So I've seen it since I was a kid. I
always wanted to hang out there because my aunt and
uncle's hang out there. Yes, and then I finally got to.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
And here's it. I liked it when you have an
establishment like that that's been around for years and people
hearing this, some people are smiling, going, oh, I remember,
because gonna take you back to some good times in
some cases some bad times, yes, but in most times,
something happens in your life that you just can't hang
out there all the time. So what we want to
do is this morning reminisce of some places of old

(08:13):
and if you've been in Central Florida for a while
that used to be your hangout that are not here anymore.
The Time Lounge opened in the sixties, in the sixties. Yeah, wow,
and it's closing first one I can remember. And some
of you talk to your your moms if they're in
the late forties. JJ whisper, Oh yeah, if your mother's

(08:33):
in late forties, say hey, mom, you used to party
with Johnny Magic back in the day. Ten dollars are you.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Getting so many people that say that, how was my
first ever nightclub experience?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
JJ wh whispers ten dollars? All you can drink? Ten
dollars through the door. Hey, no more, it was eighteen enough.
I just couldn't drink. Couldn't drink.

Speaker 9 (08:52):
I used to see Johnny Magic up on stage hosting
an Xcel throwdown.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
And then by one o'clock is gonna throw out? Good time.

Speaker 9 (09:02):
I remember every they would do the hot body contest, Yes,
and the same guy and girl won every week like
it was their I mean they were attracted.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Oh yeah. Back in the day, the the swimsuit competition
was a circuit and you could really make a living
yeah out of doing those. Another one, This one brings
a my eye. Spent many years up in there Cleoles,
not the strip club, but the other bar in downtown.
That one brings a tin in my eye and this
one hurts really hard. All of Church Street Entertainment.

Speaker 9 (09:32):
Yes, yeah, yeah, starting with Latitude Chillers big but antigue
yep antigue. Well I was good. Yeah, want something from
back in the day, so JJ whispers. Obviously the Lee
Road version of it, yes, back when they trying to

(09:52):
bring it back over the Kirk mc conroy that was cool.
But the Lee Road area was the old Yes, it was,
so that was definitely one of them for me. Firestone
Firestone when it was the O G. Fireston when it
was open all night long, so we used to get
there at two am.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Good making me crazy.

Speaker 9 (10:09):
Yeah, we Every big DJ came through Firestone, it was
the line was so far around the corner One Eyed Jacks.
It was my wife and I's spot when we first
started dating. Really we hung out One Eye Jacks. It
was it's where CANTEENA and everything is. Yeah yeah, yeah
it turned over it turned into like what became like

(10:30):
that circus whatever.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
It was a carnival type bar. I don't even know what.
It was, right on the edge corner Orange.

Speaker 9 (10:37):
Yeah, so One Eyed Jacks is one of them that
we used to hang out all the time.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
Yeah, Ray, well, I would have to say the flea
market in Sanford and then fun World.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
They went over there.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
It was sad when they tried to put that little
in there.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
Used to spray paint pie pigeons.

Speaker 9 (10:58):
Got my first tattoo in the Gold Building. I got
my belly all right. And the Gold Building, yes.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
They see that. Did they finally building that? Because they would?
They tore it down because they were supposed to build some.

Speaker 6 (11:09):
I think it's still like a land.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
They y'all don't know what flee world.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
I mean, they had everything tinted, windows bare.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
We got movies is out next week.

Speaker 9 (11:21):
They got remember the big giant box of pennies, the
pennies and you and nobody ever guessed the We used
to buy concert photos there because there was no internet obviously,
so no social media. So there was a guy who
had a booth and he had a photography pass. He
would go to Orlando Arena and just shoot photos and
then he would sell you the little three by five

(11:42):
photos of of your favorite artists.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
I about big luggage. Big luggage there went to London.
It fell apart. I ended up coming back to Orlando.
The DUC taped it.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
I got my first puppy there.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
Wins and I would also say one wild I love
it did get a little yeah grungy at that event.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
While Summer Nights, ex was there every Friday night broadcast
in live.

Speaker 9 (12:10):
How many times I probably saw you when I was
in high school.

Speaker 1 (12:13):

our paths have crossed. Brian was in the parking lot
while I was there. He was at UH and Ray

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yes, and I was like, boy, she's rude. We were
probably both.

Speaker 9 (12:33):
We were probably both at MTV Summer Nights, but I
was older, so she was hanging out like the kid.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Yeah, and I was in the olders. I been Johnny
was hosted. Would it be weird you see a picture
at one point that Brian was here? You were there?
I was there, and it was like, this is the

in serious talks about giving fans the reunion that they've
been waiting for for the thirtieth anniversary. They're talking arena
tour possibilities.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Wow, I know that is huge.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
I just like, I mean, now we're never boys. I'm
just kidding.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
They said that. They said that years ago when they
did the Award Show and get back together. Every time
they get back together, Let's do it.

Speaker 6 (18:41):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (18:41):
Or if they're like, you know, somehow like the two
of them, two out of four.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
What did they say, which one wasn't Justin Justin?

Speaker 9 (18:48):
Yeah? Yeah, so AEG and Live Nation according to the sources,
throughout the major stadium thing without with all of them,

can do arenas, and they're like, we can still sell
those out with for y'all, Let's do it.

Speaker 7 (19:08):

but he does look like he's just you know, getting
in shape for something.

messing with my endorsement money, but pretty much said you
need to get some help and your daddy did this Basically, she.

Speaker 9 (19:38):

your money and you drugged out.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (19:43):
So there was like that one final post which was
supposed to be a final post of Cardi B. But yeah,
but it was a very long, long one post, so
that she was just saying all those things, and she
was also talking about, you know, I could tell you're
doing drugs or something like that.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
So she called out the people, you know, the so
and so you had working in your house. Yeah, well
they telling you busin this. Yeah right.

Speaker 7 (20:01):
So, I mean, as of right now, it looks like
the drama has ended, but it got low.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
It got there were low blows.

Speaker 7 (20:08):
When it was like Nicki Minaj was dragging Cardi B's
kid into their online fight and the Cardi B was
going on, I just think the.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Kids, and that's just me. I just think the kids.
I mean, when you're in a battle, you got you
going to win, you go all in. I just think
the kids off off gold.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
That's what I'm saying yes, and that's why it got low.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Yeah. I said, look, she used to have to defend
herself in that stripper room. Those are the hardest ones
in the world. I'm for it.

Speaker 9 (20:34):
I was giggling the entire time because it it ain't me,
it's somebody else's train wreck.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yeah, I'm watching it going and it's a little.

Speaker 6 (20:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (20:42):
So also tomorrow is the big day Diddy is going
to be getting his sentencing. So before his sentence is
handed down, what they're saying is Sean Diddy Coombe's plans
to speak directly to the judge. So that's going to
be pretty big. This is going to be the first
time since his trial. According to the court documents, his
lawyer stated the sentencing preceding holds significant importance for mister Crombs.

(21:04):
He wish just to appear before the court, address your
honor and allocate or allocute the most dignified respect in
fashion possible. So like he literally wants to speak directly
to the judge before this sentencing.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
I say, let's go around the room and give your
prediction on what he's gonna get.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
Right, what with you right now?

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (21:21):
Yeah, I say five years bright.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
I think two. I think, uh, they're gonna give him
the fourteen months and he'll be out in a.

Speaker 6 (21:30):
Month, you think, so, thank you?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
So yeah.

Speaker 9 (21:32):
I don't think he'll serve the full too, because you
never do, and he's already done a year. But I
think they're going to sentence him to two years and
then he'll probably be out. I think I say bye
by summer. I think I think it'd be out before Christmas.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
I just don't want that.

Speaker 7 (21:44):
So prosecutors obviously are recommending, like I said yesterday, over
eleven years and maximum could be twenty years, which obviously
he won't get that bus.

Speaker 9 (21:52):
I hope they do it early, so I ain't gonta
do a whole bunch extra workious. If y'all could do
a while I'm still here, I appreciate it, say what
up on my radio show.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
At least it's in.

Speaker 9 (22:00):
New York, so it's not in like California, so I
don't get a way to the time zone. But if
y'all could knock that out by like nine thirty ten am,
I appreciate.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Mister judge, Brian's gonna send a letter to the judge.
I implore you, sir, I know you're a busy man
because you cause you hook me up on this one,
all right, trying to keep you up to day. What's
trending is on the way on trouble day, sixty percent
chance today was raining. We were coming in this morning.
It's gonna otherwise it's gonna be mostly Sonny in eighty
four seventy four. Right now, Brian, what's trend in?

Speaker 9 (22:25):
Well, the government shut down continues, saying we don't do
a whole lot of politics. But here's the basics from yesterday.
The Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vaught told
everybody yesterday that the administration might start firing federal employees
in the next one or two.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Well, the thing I understand is why they haven't done
anything is this is a game that's being played over
our lives and in Congress. But now people are why
are gonna So.

Speaker 9 (22:50):
From what I read, there are programs that won't be funded.
Those people work in those programs, So if the funding
is gone for those programs, then obviously there's no need
for you to be there.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
The funding won't come back.

Speaker 9 (23:03):
Oh, once the government reopens, these are programs that are
going to get cut anyway.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Right, Well, not necessarily anyway.

Speaker 9 (23:08):
If they were to work a deal before this happened
that kept the government running, and those programs were included
in that deal, they would have kept going. But these
are things that one side wants to cut the other
side doesn't want to cut. But now that the government
shut down, they can cut. When they do that, there'll
be no need for you to be there anymore. It'd
be like if they fire Johnny's house, Why we keep
coming in, you know, if they ended the show, we
can't keep coming to work. But what if they cut

(23:28):
a deal and the people they cut are in the
new deal.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Well, that's the thing.

Speaker 9 (23:32):
They're going to cut these programs before the deal is cut.
There'll be no deal before tomorrow, guarantee, because they're not
even talking. So these programs are going to be cut now,
and so when the does open back up, they'll be gone,
and they therefore your job will be gone. And the
Vice President did confirm that layoffs would probably happen soon
unless the government reopens like that were now leon So

(23:53):
they said agencies should consider reduction in force notices for
employees and programs consistent with the priorities. Who's funding dried
up on October first, so those programs won't come back
come back. So that's why one of the big reasons
are like, let's just keep it running and argue this
out because if we don't like drastic things could happen.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
And that's where we are now. You know what's funny
is I remember years ago they changed the wording. Back
in the day, it used to be firing. Yeah, mass firing,
but now it's laid off. Like this is pleasant term
that you're laid off, but maybe you'll come back. No,
laid off is firing, right, you know, but it's just
less harsh, right, Yeah, I got laid off. Now I
got fired, so there could be a lot of jobs.

(24:32):
Come on, y'all get it together.

Speaker 9 (24:34):
And I read yesterday that the I r S is
going to work for the first five days through the shutdown,
but after that they don't know what the I r
S is going to do. But that don't mean you
don't know taxes. Just keep that in mind. When you
said that, some people wait, no, no, no, you still are you?
I got one of white envelopes. Yes, Now I don't
like this. Met Meta announced yesterday it's going to start
using your conversations with AI to targets, personalized ads your way.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Oh come on. Yeah, at least they're telling us, I
will say that.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
They already do that.

Speaker 9 (25:03):
They don't do it with your AI conversations as of now.
They're going to start, uh pretty soon. So as of now,
they obviously do it based on what you click on,
so they do that, but now conversations with the AI
chatbot are going to go directly to them, so they
see what you're asking your chatbot and they can cater
what they send to you based on what you talk

(25:24):
to your chatbot about.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
So if there the cruise, I ain't saying I did,
But let's say if I asked AI, how do I
solve it? My toenails? Next thing? You know, I got
toenail cream?

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Yes, oh my god.

Speaker 9 (25:36):
When you think about it, people are starting to use
and we heard it this week. They're starting to use
AI and like a friend. So now it's basically listening
to the conversation you have with your AI friend and
then sending you ads based on that. They're also gonna
feed targeted content that way as well. So if you
talk about Tonel softon, you'll start seeing videos about Tonel
softman that's up to you. The example they use was hiking.

(25:59):
But if if you want to use tel softening as
your example.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
That's fine by me. Who am I listen? I understand
the algorithms of I was telling ray. I was on
TikTok and I looked at one Chris Brown video in
every so I understand see I went to that, And
they say, but if I'm having a private conversation with
my AI right about my personal hygiene, yes, and my
heart nailed on my big toe. That's what should be
between me and my AI. And it was up until now.

(26:25):
Now Meta is going to use it.

Speaker 9 (26:27):
And I didn't think I used Meta AI because I
generally don't use Meta AI. My Meta glasses are Meta AI.
And I asked my glasses stuff all the time because
whatever I see, I ask it and it answers in
my ear. So now it's going to start listening to
what I asked my glasses and then send me ads.
Meta AI has a billion monthly users who Meta earned
forty six point five billion from advertising revenue last quarter alone.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
But you and I get it from understanding. It takes
a lot of electricity to run an AI to the
point where the governments say Okay, build your own power plans.
To do that, you have to monetize it. You have
to make money from you.

Speaker 9 (27:03):
Well, now, be careful what you talk to your AI
chat about about, just so you know.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
But what if I said to my AI, this ain't
for me. I really don't want to know. But what
if I had a friend?

Speaker 6 (27:13):
Did they take maybe take that into consideration.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
They're gonna send it to you so you can tell
your friends, or what if.

Speaker 7 (27:18):
You tell AI, hey, I don't want to hear anything
after this conversation about monails.

Speaker 6 (27:26):
I just need help right now. And that's it.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
It doesn't care what you what. You want to be
real direct with it.

Speaker 9 (27:33):
Negotiate with me right and AI is gonna do just
like you do when someone calls here and says it
ain't me, it's my friend. You're it's gonna say, right
right now, here's this softening cream.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Go ahead and click on it, Click on it, and
I probably would click on it, probably would. All right,
this time for the throwback game, that's when we ask
you questions from back in the day, and all you
have to do is get the most right. Today you're
planning to experience of petrified far with Johnny's House was
gonna take you through tomorrow night three, all new terrifying trails,
live entertainment and to all new attractions. It's a night

(28:07):
you won't forget. We will take you through. I will
one day, will the others. I'm I'm only going through one.
I just want to tell you all that. So when
you get there, say wha ain Johnny go on, I'm not,
I don't I'll get scared easily. It didn't need a uh.
If you like to play, you gotta call four oh
seven now one nine one on six seven eight seven
seven now one nine one on six seven you played
before this first time players, call right now. We'll see

(28:28):
if you can wait to throw back game on Johnny's House.
And we appreciate that, y'all. Eighty four as a hide
today and mostly sunny, sixty percent chance of rain ray.
What's that current?

Speaker 6 (28:36):
It is seventy five seventy.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Five woman up right now? All right? Forty three percent
of young people saying what be They.

Speaker 9 (28:42):
Said they're going on fewer dates now, and thirty three
percent say they're cutting out dating altogether because it is
just getting too expensive.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
It's too expensive to date.

Speaker 9 (28:50):
Listen to can date no more is just too expensive. Really,
everything costs more money. I can do it.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
I can see it.

Speaker 9 (28:57):
You can't cut out Dayton, That's what I'm saying, and like,
what do you do instead? Like, Okay, I'm not gonna
date no more. I can't afford it. Ok So I'm
just gonna be a recluse.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
I've watched the tree and happen before dating was you
guys you ask somebody out, or ladies, you watch somebody out.
The person that asked paid for you, had dinner, you
obligated for about two or three hours. Then I watched
it move to just let's have coffee, and then I
watched it move to let's just meet somewhere. And now
they're saying just let's not do anything. Yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 9 (29:25):
They're even saying to the point that it's like, Okay,
we're actually fast tracking our relationship because we can't afford
to date. We don't want to break up, so let's
just go ahead and get serious faster, so we can
move in faster, so we can share a mortgage faster,
because we can't afford to live by ourselves.

Speaker 6 (29:38):
I can totally see that as well, can you really?

Speaker 7 (29:41):
Yes, it is so right now, if I put my
rent and my girlfriend's rent together, we're spending almost six
thousand dollars in rent.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Goodness, yeah, I mean.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
That's how insane it is.

Speaker 9 (29:53):
So you guys, they were on the cruise, core and
Corey and Krista. They were dating right, and everything was cool,
but they had separate places and they were doing the same.
They're like, we're paying five six thousand dollars a month
on rating each other, spending so much time at each
other's house. So they moved in together. Then they looked
at it and said, we're paying so much in rent,
let's just get a mortgage together. And that's what they did.
Now they got married and they and they'd been together
for a few years. But I mean, it's just when

(30:15):
you look at the lot of logistics behind it, it
just makes sense.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
So it's more it's more of a financial thing.

Speaker 9 (30:22):
Financial thing with these people, because they're like, look, I
can't date anymore, Like I don't have to. I don't
have the money to shop around with these girls or
guys that aren't going to turn into something, So let's
fast track a serious relationship.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Wow, man, I remember being broke back in the day.
I used to go to Ladies Nights because I knew
they were drinking free and I drink one drink and
stepping on it all night, right, I used to do
if I have any money, right, you know, but they
were drinking for free, of course, you know, Ladies Night.
And once I got real comfortable with them, hey, tell
me you want to run and go right? They would
give me that, and then a couple of minutes later

(30:54):
go get them right or you know, all my days
gonna be happy Hour, yes, but you better order off
happy our menu. Now'll be trying to go outside that. So,
I mean, what else? What else? What else? I don't know?
How could there be? And I'm a creative person. What
else do you do?

Speaker 6 (31:09):
I mean you have to be creative?

Speaker 9 (31:10):
Do you just talk online socially? Like so let you
know whatever? Like I mean, I don't know, Like I mean,
I've been I've been in it for so long, so
for me, I don't have to worry about it.

Speaker 7 (31:21):
You have to have that conversation like hey, listen, like obviously,
like things are expensive, I'm gonna pay for myself, Like
are you okay with paying for yourself? Until we get
to know each other, then we could start buying. You
know what I'm saying, Like, maybe you have a conversation
like that.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
I couldn't even imagine having that conversation. But you gotta say,
I'm old school. I'm real old school. I believe in
this word courting. Yes, yes, that means I'm gonna have
to go and dip, right, But.

Speaker 7 (31:43):
It's like, you really can't be ashamed or else you're
gonna put yourself.

Speaker 9 (31:47):
It's funny because my son is dating right and I
see his bank account because we share bank accounts and everything,
but not together.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
But you know what you're saying.

Speaker 9 (31:56):
So he's twenty and so I had to tell him
early on, hey, you got to stop paying for everything
every time you go out. I know you're trying to
keep because he saw me do it, so that's what
he knows. And I'm like, you're breaking yourself, like seriously,
And then he started going, well, let's see, I get
paid on Thursday, so then I can't go out until
after Tuesday. I got no more going out, so I

(32:16):
get paid it on Thursday. And I'm like, you gotta
just be honest and say, hey, look, you know we
got to hang at the house or something, because I
can't keep paying for everything.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (32:24):
And I feel like you guys, like if you're listening
and your dating, like, don't be too hard on people
if they're like trying to cut some corners in there.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
Yeah, I feel like you shouldn't be.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
I think when you really are attracted to someone, they'll
make you feel real comfortable, like he don't worry about it.
You got last time, I get this time. Because but
if they're like, listen, I'm in for the bag, you
know right, you ain't trying to take me to you
know whatever, then I ain't trying to go. Those are
the ones you got to cut off. But if there's
one it's like she I like you when you can
tell she like, yeah, you know what, I don't get

(32:55):
paid to next week, and they go, you know what,
let me, I got some money, let me. Then that's
somebody I can say, all right, right. But if they say, hey,
I can't go out till Friday because I don't get
paid to go. Okay, I guess we'll go out Friday,
you might want to look at that.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
Yeah, you can't you complain that you're single.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Like yeah, wow, especially if people are saying, look, I'm
just stop dating altogether. How about that? See, I couldn't
use that as an option. I couldn't I got to
I want to find out from you, they said. Thirty
eight percent of young people in the United States are
going on a fewer dates, and some are cutting back,
and some say they have stopped dating because it's too expensive.
If this is you, please talk to us. We have

(33:28):
questions for you, and what's an alternative? If it's not dating?

one nine one on six seven XL mobile four one
oh sixty seven livestream, social media, want to hear from you.
Two forty three percent of young people say they can't

(33:51):
date because it's too expensive. If you're one of those, explained,
it's too expensive. But what else do you do to date?
How is it happening? Four oh seven now one nine
one O six seven eight seven seven nine one nine
one o six seven Looking forward to your call? Some
calls now in Johnny's house chance Rain, we're gonna be
giving away those xl one O sixty seven exclusive screening

(34:12):

going on, because we want to make sure we give
them to those fans that'll be happening around eight twenty
this morning, if you can hold on right now, forty
three percent of young people in the United States said
that they're going on fewer dates because it's too expensive.

(34:32):
So we want to find out from you. Is this
something you're doing and if you've stopped, why, and what
else are you doing if you're not dating? Let's talk
to Corey from Orlando. Hey, Corey, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (34:42):
Not much? Man?

Speaker 1 (34:43):
All right? All right? So Corey, Uh, you think it's
too expensive to date?

Speaker 11 (34:49):
Nah?

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Not really.

Speaker 8 (34:50):
I think it all depends on you and who you're
trying to date.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Okay, explain.

Speaker 8 (34:56):
So pretty much like if you work at a nine
to five and you go date someone who's used to
they they don't cook, to have their own business. Yeah,
it's gonna be kind of expensive because she's used to
other stuff that you might not be able.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
To provide for.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Uh huh.

Speaker 9 (35:14):
Yeah, so you said, are you saying pretty much stay
in your lane, date your wage? Yes, I've heard that much.

Speaker 8 (35:21):
Well you you'll be able to know as soon as
you know, you guys start talking and stuff like that.
Well what you be able to I mean, what she'll like.
Uh Like, if she's pretty much ready to go to
some upscale restaurant and you ain't never been there before,
well yeah, it's gonna be an expensive Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
I see what you're saying, date your age. I saw this,
I saw this TikTok with this beautiful woman. She said,
I hate it when guys come over to me and say, wow,
you look high maintenance. And she goes, if you can
tell from across the room, I'm high maintenance and you
ain't ready to help me maintain this highness, then don't
come over here and talk to me, which is true.

Speaker 14 (35:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
She's like, hey, I agree, I'm over here. Are we
supposed to know you expect us to maintain you?

Speaker 6 (36:03):
Like, I mean, nobody should be maintaining you.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Yeah, Well see what happens is what happens, Corey, there's
some knuckle heads out there that's trying to overdo it
and they start paying for things, so now they think
it's the norm. So when it goes with you like, hey,
so I'm we're going to date Friday. Need to get
my hair and nails done so I can go out
on the date with you. Well, that ain't my problem.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Right if you if you're able to do it, yes,
you know, yes, because I don't pay for the hair
and nails before. Make a couple of hundred dollars. You
know that's nothing. But when he gets to the point
where she's boy and that every every time, well then
it's like all right, well I ain't.

Speaker 11 (36:39):
Got it like that.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Yeah, so I appreciate love, but I gotta go. I
gotta go, right, thank you, Corey? Uh raightould they say?

Speaker 7 (36:47):
Yeah, somebody said people expect insane amounts on the first
date instead of a simple date to get to know
each other.

Speaker 6 (36:55):
And then she yeah, no, I can't read the rest
of it.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
I've heard say we need that. You're miss You're mismanaging something.
When ladies do that and they don't expect a bag
or expensive dinner, then you're mismanaging.

Speaker 6 (37:07):
Yeah, yeah, well.

Speaker 7 (37:09):
This person was basically saying also that like if no one,
if you're not spending one hundred bucks on a first date,
then like the person's gonna ghost you basically the next time.

Speaker 9 (37:17):
Uh, let's see XL level power by Attorney Dan Newland.
Interact need to check. It's a no brainer. Call Attorney
Dan Newland. Someone said, my boyfriend of five years moved
in with me after three months of dating. But they
lived in a neighborhood by Teak. They said they would
walk to Teak, have appetizers and that that was their date. Yeah,
it's fairly cheap. And then someone said, walks in the park,
you know, making dinner at home, stuff like that. That's

(37:38):
how we date. Let's go for a walk in the park.
That does sound romantic. It sounds roman and you can
get to know each other if the person wants to
get to know you. But if they want steaks and
stuff whatever. Damn Friday, we in the park every Friday.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Damn can we do? Someone walk in the park now?

Speaker 5 (37:54):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News with's Rae.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
All right, I'm gonna be real upset if this is
just to get people to watch season seven of The Kardashian.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
You are upset right now, so you.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
So.

Speaker 6 (38:10):
The trailer for.

Speaker 7 (38:11):
Season seven of The Kardashians dropped yesterday and it includes
Kim Kardashian. She says that she got a call from
investigators who told her that someone who was extremely close
to her put a hit on her. For an investigator said,
somebody that's extremely close to you, So.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
That would be her friend, either her friend or.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
Maybe Kanye West.

Speaker 7 (38:35):
I don't want to assume, but somebody that is extremely
close to your people, to your inner circle put a
hit on you.

Speaker 6 (38:41):
If you don't know what that means, they hired somebody
to go and kill her.

Speaker 7 (38:45):
But yeah, So the trailer doesn't really reveal when this
happened or who wanted Kim Kardashian to die. But it's
worth noting that in twenty twenty two, Kim's relatively unhinge
ex husband. This article says that Kanye tweeted that Kim
had accused him of putting a hit on her. So

(39:06):
that's where they're like circling back and they're like, Okay,
the only thing that seems relevant to what she's saying
is back in twenty twenty two when.

Speaker 6 (39:13):
He posted that.

Speaker 7 (39:15):
So also on the trailer, there's a return of Rob Kardashian,
which nobody has seen in a very long time.

Speaker 6 (39:21):
Caitlin Jenner is in it, so obviously this is like
what now Hulu?

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Hulu.

Speaker 9 (39:26):
Yeah, so it's still called Keeping Up with a Kardashian,
it's called the Card because they don't known that name.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Yeah, yeah, probably. I wonder who's still watching that.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (39:35):
I would be curious to see what their ratings have been,
you know, the past, because this is season seven of
The Kardashians.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
See, there's no ratings involved when it comes to streaming.
People watch it.

Speaker 6 (39:45):
Yeah, the views.

Speaker 7 (39:46):
Uh, speaking of the Kardashians, remember when rayge a mister
Ragel was last week. Yeah, he came out and he
was talking about how there is a reco case against
Kim and her mom Chris Jenner, and it was quote
worse than Diddy. Yeah, he said he's helping, yes, or
that he's involved in the investigation. Well, Kim Kardashian and
Chris Jenner, of course, are not okay with this, and

(40:07):
they're suing ray J. They're suing RAYJ for defamation, accusing
him of spreading a lie by claiming they're under a
federal rocketeering investigation. So their lawyer says that ray J
is unable to accept the end of his fleeting relationship
with miss Kardashian.

Speaker 6 (40:22):
Over twenty years ago.

Speaker 7 (40:24):
Done, that's what their lawyer is saying, is that he
is still not accepting the fact that they broke up
twenty years ago. So the lawsuit also points out his
comments to TMZ during the two B documentary and so
that they said that if you told me that the
Kardashians were being charged for rocketeering, that he might believe it.

(40:45):
So like they have a ton of things that he
has said and been reported on saying that they're going
after him.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
I know why he's mad is that he was in
the tape too, and she's a billionaire. Yeah, and he's
doing well right.

Speaker 9 (40:56):
With the headphones, But you think that's what it is
and I live in large, Yeah, I mean I don't.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
I think he's probably accepted that at this point. I
think so, because they have that money has nothing to
do with him at this point. He hasn't, he hasn't
made the big dollars.

Speaker 9 (41:09):
Well, no, I mean, he's done when he's what he's
he's capped out. Yeah, I don't understand how you can
see someone from going. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. Yeah,
it's like we say that all the time, man, Like
you know, if so and so got in trouble for this,
I wouldn't be surprised. Like, that's not a defamation statement.
That's me saying from what I know, not shocked though.

Speaker 7 (41:26):
What they're saying is that the FEDS or what they're
saying during the live stream is that he declared that
the FEDS is coming.

Speaker 6 (41:33):
There's nothing I could do about it. It's worse than Diddy.

Speaker 7 (41:35):
So he said that the FEDS are common and that
there is an investigation on Chris and Ken.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
Now I've never been asked by the FIDS to get
my information on anybody, but if if I was, I
would as soon to say. After we talked, they said,
I would appreciate it if you kept this on the loan, right,
I think I think that going somewhere.

Speaker 9 (41:51):
Yeah, I mean I guess if he would have said
I think the FEDS is coming, yeah, right, because they is.
Because you talk how you talk when you're doing your thing,
Like I say, like I say that all the time
about people.

Speaker 6 (42:02):
Yeah, so Kim and Chris.

Speaker 7 (42:04):
Yeah, they're arguing that his comments were designed to damage
their reputations and they seek compensation and damages.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
I can see if you if you're trying to go
into another another one of those big dollar deals with
the Kardashian and like, well, I want to hold off
because I heard the fans are coming after you, right,
and they're like, look who said it? You just had
to prove that, Like if if.

Speaker 9 (42:23):
They're stilling them, they have to go, Hey, look this
company was about to give us a bunch of money
and they said they can't because the FEDS is coming.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Yeah, but I was still if I hadn't talked to somebody,
talk to the Feds.

Speaker 9 (42:32):
I ain't telling nobody. I never talked to the FEDS
before you know me either, But if I did, I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
I wouldn't make a social media coming out to Brian y'all, Hey,
I just talked to them. It's gonna be bigger than Diddy.
I wouldn't say that.

Speaker 7 (42:48):
I'm also gonna put out there I've never talked to
the FEDS because I know everybody else in this room
said it. So I just gonna I'm gonna show out
that to him and she.

Speaker 1 (42:54):
Only gets in trouble locally. Yeah, yeah, federally. Right, it's
called dot. People are already saying that don't send that
robot to my house.

Speaker 9 (43:04):
So they say it's going to deliver right now and
the test run in Timpi and Mesa, Arizona. It's gonna
go up to twenty miles per hour, all electric. They
said it's gonna help local businesses and result in fewer
cars on the road, which is good. But as soon
as they announce it online, everyone started joking. They said, please,
don't send that robot to my house.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
They said.

Speaker 9 (43:23):
Restaurant workers have already said we won't go outside and
put food into a robot.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
We're not doing it.

Speaker 9 (43:29):
One worker said there's no way I'm doing that, and
then other people are threatening violence against the robot. The
first robot that tries it to liver food to me
is getting wrecked. Dude, you don't think they tied that
robot self defense. You're gonna be on Medium getting your
butt kicked by robot. It's a little box.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
I've seen it.

Speaker 13 (43:44):
They got.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
They have the Uber Eats robot down in Miami, beach.
It's literally looks like the box that roll up on you.
That's all a big picture. They already have the self
driving cars. So if you haven't actually like humanoid type
a robot, that humanoid yeah, like self driving, takes it,
picks up the food, takes it to the person's house.

Speaker 9 (44:03):
I mean long term, we're talking I robot. We're exactly
extremely fast. Yeah, no, this is all it's a cooler
wheels right.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Yeah. So they said they're gonna wreck it if it
comes to their house.

Speaker 9 (44:14):
Now, door dash was like a big They spent like
millions of dollars fighting like increasing minimum wage. So people
are like, y'all just trying to get rid of humans
and not pay them anyway. So bring that robot to
my house. See what happened? What happened to the drones
that was supposed to send food to your house? Yeah yeah,
I don't know. They tested it and didn't work. And
that will not work in the South because people will
shoot them will So I don't know. I guess it's

(44:35):
got to be regional.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
This is crazy.

Speaker 9 (44:38):
A Georgia woman found a kind of a unique way
to keep the chores balanced at her house. She invoices
her husband up to six hundred dollars a month for
stuff he doesn't do.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (44:49):
Her name is Jess, his name is DJ. She tracks
all his stuff on a spreadsheet. She charges them five
dollars for small slip ups like leaving toothpaste out, and
fifty dollars like forgetting, you know, to take out the
trash err car seats. So she says it could go
up to about six hundred dollars a month. That's what
she invoices him for. He says that it really it

(45:09):
reduces arguments because I just pay the fine. And she says,
if he just does what he's supposed to do, I
won't have to find him. Let me tell you what
you have right there there. That is a broken man. Yes,
I'm gonna tell you why. He just wants peace in
the house.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
And that means that I'm gonna have to pay you
six hundred dollars so that we don't argue about things.
To keep my piece.

Speaker 9 (45:30):
He has six hundred dollars exactly what it says to
keep the piece. She's not yelling, I just pay it.
He's broken, broken, three kids, I've been married seven years.
He's probably done the math. He's like, I'm not going anywhere.
I ain't going nowhere, not in this economy. I ain't
going nowhere. You didn't take the trash out, baby, I'm sorry.
Fifty dollars okay.

Speaker 7 (45:50):
Then it's going anywhere in this economy because he's paying
her all his money.

Speaker 9 (45:54):
But see if he didn't pay one hundred, it's cheaper
than rit We just went over there. When he says
I forgot, he doesn't have to listen now that what
is it? He goes sixty dollars. He goes, okay, fine,
that's it, right, peace. You know I wouldn't think it's
a bad idea. I'm sitting on the couch, okay, I'm
watching something I really want to watch on the trash
needs to go out.

Speaker 1 (46:14):
Yes, I know.

Speaker 9 (46:14):
If I don't take it out, it's gonna cost me
twenty five dollars. I got twenty five laying around, you
know what. I ain't taking the trash out. I'm gonna
watch this football game, okay, and pay the twenty five hours. Right,
and they say twenty five dollars, cool, go ahead and
give me an invoice.

Speaker 1 (46:25):
It's on the table. I ain't getting up. I'm sorry.
I still got some fight in me. Yeah, I got
just a little bit of fight in me.

Speaker 6 (46:33):
Or you could just get your ass up.

Speaker 9 (46:35):
See that's what the twenty five dollars for, right, Because
now I'm gonna hear that I paid twenty five is
for your silence.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
I'm basically paying you to shut up. Great pretty much.

Speaker 6 (46:46):
Wow, sounds like like a healthy relationship.

Speaker 1 (46:48):
But you know it doesn't at all. Listen, I want
long time ago, I realized I can't judge what works
in other people's houses. That man right there seems okay
with it. She's happy with the six hundred dollars. They
got a happy house. I think he's crunch the numbers. Yeah,
he's decided. Okay, I got three kids, re remem married
seven years. Yeah, getting now it's gonna cost too much.
This right here is a much better alternative. You didn't

(47:09):
put gas in the car here fifty dollars all right,
instead of going get up now and do it. You
never do that everything you want to do around the house.
I can understand why now he goes fifty dollars silence. Yeah, hey,
if it works in his house, I still got a
little bit of fighting me.

Speaker 9 (47:23):
Hey, let me get a bonus I'll leave three hundred
dollars on the counter and not take the trash out
for a damn month, just to make a point.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
How about that? Put it on the refrigerator on a magnet.
How about that? I think if you do that, you'd
go up the price, because that's not motivating you anymore.
All right, listen, we have these these exclusive tickets we
need to give away, and they're exclusive tickets to see

Speaker 1 (48:54):
All right, we wanna make sure that you're a Taylor

that you're excited about all this?

Speaker 11 (49:00):
Oh, I'm very excited. So I've never seen her live
in the almost twenty years I've been a fan, but
when I heard this was going to happen, my daughter
and I immediately started planning our outfits.

Speaker 5 (49:13):
So she's wearing the red.

Speaker 11 (49:16):
Snake suit from the Arras tour for the reputation set.
You got a little, a little mini out and she's.

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Eight eight years old, okay, okay.

Speaker 15 (49:26):
And then and then I've got from the you Belong
with Me music video in the beginning, she's wearing like
a PJ set that says Junior Jewels. But instead I'm
making the shirt.

Speaker 11 (49:37):
Say Taylor's show Girls. Okay, and I'm going to have
other girls at the movie sign it with all these
different colored sharpies I'm bringing.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
That's cute.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
And you ain't got tickets yet, so you plan on
winning these tickets so you can do all that. Oh
heck yeah, it's positive, speaking it into existence. You know,
I don't believe in that stuff. I know you got Wow. Okay,
all right, you hold on a second. Let's go to
mount door and talk to Amelia. Amelia, good morning, good morning,
good morning. And how old are you, ma'am? Eight eight

(50:08):
years old? And how big are you excited about all
the Taylor Swift stuff that's going on?

Speaker 2 (50:13):
What do zayad?

Speaker 1 (50:16):
No, that sounded like your mama, It was, Amelia? How excited?

Speaker 8 (50:22):
Are you.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Very very very there you go? Okay, okay, all right,
all right, all right, all right, and let's go to
a cala and talk to Elizabeth. Elizabeth, good morning, good morning.
All right, you know what's going on? What have you done?
You can be prepared for her, Taylor Swill.

Speaker 16 (50:44):
I think I've pre ordered almost everything off of the website.
I probably have about nine packages coming this weekend and
off the Orange mail's done. We got our office ready.
It's my sister's e Seen's birthday, so we're super excited
for that.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
And how old are you? I'm twenty three, twenty three.
And how much money have you spent on the pre
tailor swift stuff?

Speaker 16 (51:05):
Oh a little bit too much. My my bank accounts
hurting a little.

Speaker 1 (51:09):
Bit, hurting a little bit, all right, but we're gonna
do a wild card. Oh okay, a wild card and
let's find out. So we need to the wheel on four. Okay,
x ol, good morning? Who says this is Ashley? And
where are you calling us from? Ashley?

Speaker 13 (51:23):
I'm calling from Saint claud Order.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
Saint Cloud. And how old are you?

Speaker 16 (51:28):
Okay?

Speaker 14 (51:29):
So I am thirty four, but I'm calling from my
daughter who is twelve and like most amazing Taylor footman ever,
you can.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
Pass with twelve. You have a very young sounding force.

Speaker 15 (51:40):
Oh thank you, I appreciate that.

Speaker 13 (51:41):
But no, yeah, I'm actually thirty fourth.

Speaker 6 (51:44):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (51:45):
And how big a fan is your? Is your daughter?
How is she into all of this? What have you done?

Speaker 13 (51:49):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (51:49):
My god?

Speaker 13 (51:49):
My daughter is the most most mega fan.

Speaker 16 (51:53):
She is so prepared.

Speaker 10 (51:55):
We re ordered the album the vinyl everything.

Speaker 16 (51:59):
She is so la.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
This is all she wants, all she wants in life.

Speaker 13 (52:05):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, Johnny, this is everything for now.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
Listen. I don't have a vote in this. We're gonna
spend the wheel. And if you listen to Johnny's house,
you know I hate the wheel. Will has never been
a friend of mine. Today I understand, So you hold
on a second. Number one is Caring, Number two Amelia,
Number three Elizabeth, and number four is Ashley Spend. No,

(52:30):
I know who I picked, but I don't get to pay.
I know who I would pick. That's right, ye. Number three.
Number three is Elizabeth Elizabeth.

Speaker 16 (52:47):
I don't believe it.

Speaker 15 (52:48):
Can you hear me?

Speaker 1 (52:48):
I can hear you.

Speaker 16 (52:50):
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. I cannot believe that
I got work right.

Speaker 12 (52:54):
Now so I can't.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
I got you, I got you. You don't want to
lose your job, but you still lose your job. You
got to sell for four tickets to the Excel exclusive
screening of Life of a show Girl Saturday at the
AMC disergree, who are you gonna take with you? You
got four tickets.

Speaker 16 (53:07):
I'm gonna take my two little sisters and my mom obviously, Okay,
we're also excited.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
All right. Make sure you take some photos because we
need to hear it and see it. Okay. She wants
to scream so badly. Are you crying? If you want
to hear some crime, let me pick up the phone.
An eight year old she's trying right now. You get
that damn wheel, all right? It is the wheel. I
hate the wheel. All right. Listen. When we come back,

(53:35):
we're gonna have another opportunity to win some exclusive screening
of Life of show Girl. But this one's gonna take
a little work. We'll tell you. Hey, you're okun win
this one. She could win this one, alright, coming up
next to Johnny's. I don't know if you know that's illegal,
but Chris Brown, it's eight thirty nine. Ray, what's the
current temp maam seventy six, seventy six, eighty four of

(53:56):
the high mostly sunny and a sixty percent chance of rain.
Got four tickets to exclusive screening of Life of Showgirl.
But you gotta hit his interesant stat this is gonna
be funny and it's gonna make you feel old as dirt.
What happened to me?

Speaker 9 (54:08):
So they did this survey and they asked a thousand kids,
so between seven and sixteen. They asked what age someone
officially becomes old. Okay, so the consensus was forty nine.
That's a kid to a kid when you're forty nine
year old? Now, fifteen percent said thirty thirty. And then
they ask of the activities that these old people love,
and according to these kids, the top three activities talking

(54:31):
about the good old days.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
I do that, gardening, I do that, and drinking tea. Wow,
drink tea. But I got two out of the three.

Speaker 6 (54:40):
Why it's funny.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
So what we want to do right now is we
want to talk to kids between the ages of seven
and sixteen, and we're just going to ask them a
simple couple simple questions about what they think is old
and what do they think old people do, and then
out of that, we'll just have to pick a winner.
Who's gonna go to the four take see the Life
of Showgirls. So if you are between the ages of

(55:03):
seven and sixteen and can talk on the radio, now, parents,
a lot of you want your kid to talk on
the radio, but that's you on the back prompting them.
They have to be able to hold a conversation with
us and I all have to do is just speak
their mind with very simple questions on what they think
is old and what do old people like to do?
All right? Four O seven now one nine one on
six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one on

(55:24):
six seven. It's the only way to win. If you
are a child between the age of seven and sixteen,
we have some questions for you, and one of you
randomly are gonna get those tickets? Four O seven now
one nine one O six seven eight seven seven nine
one nine one on six seven. The only way to win.
You got a call, so we were looking forward to
hear what you got to say next on Johnny Syulese
Sonny seventy six right now looking for a high of

(55:46):
eighty four. All right, we got these tickets. The exclusive
screening of The Life of a Showgirl, that Taylor Swiss
movie that is coming out, and we got a special
showing at the AMC Disney Springs. You know that's a
good place to watch movies. Now, all we want to
do is ask you kids about old people and what
they think is old, and then one of them will
put the wheel out again and see if we can
find a winner. Let's start off with twelve year old

(56:09):
Vincent from a Popka. Hey, hey, Vincent, how are you?

Speaker 13 (56:13):
I'm good?

Speaker 1 (56:13):
And what you're good? What school you're attending today?

Speaker 10 (56:17):
Uh? South?

Speaker 1 (56:18):
Okay, okay, very good? All right, Vincent? How old is
old to you? When someone is old? How old do
you think they are?

Speaker 13 (56:27):
Have you like thirty or forty?

Speaker 1 (56:28):
Thirty or forty is old? And what do you think
thirty and for thirty forty? And what do you think
old people like to do?

Speaker 9 (56:38):
Play bingo?

Speaker 1 (56:39):
Dingo? And what else do thirty and forty year olds
like to do? Play bingo? And what else?

Speaker 16 (56:47):
Probably just watch movies.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
Watch movies. So thirty and forty year olds like to
play bingo and watch movies, probably black and white movies. Yeah. Really?
What do old people like to eat?

Speaker 11 (57:07):
Probably?

Speaker 9 (57:11):
Yeah, sandwiches, and pudding. Okay, I'm just curious by listening
to the show. How old do you think Ray is?

Speaker 6 (57:18):
Ray is a female?

Speaker 1 (57:19):
Ra is a female? That's right right there? Howl do
you think she is?

Speaker 16 (57:21):
Vincent twenty four?

Speaker 1 (57:24):
Twenty four? All right? All right, you hold on the second, Vincent.
You're pretty close.

Speaker 6 (57:28):
Okay, I'm happy with it.

Speaker 1 (57:31):
I got to ask mine here soon. I'm coming up.
The will's gonna hit me from Orlando. Twelve year old Charlotte.

Speaker 14 (57:39):
Hey, Charlotte, Hi, it's Scarlet, by the way.

Speaker 9 (57:43):
Okay, there you go, Scarlett, right, okay, yeah, all right, Scarlet?

Speaker 10 (57:47):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (57:48):
What is old to you? Scarlet? What age is old about?

Speaker 17 (57:52):
Forty two?

Speaker 1 (57:53):
Forty two is old? And what do old people like
to do?

Speaker 14 (57:57):
Try to like in front of like teenagers and stuff.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
Oh, try to be cool.

Speaker 8 (58:03):
I got you.

Speaker 6 (58:04):
It's like the Daily Mission.

Speaker 14 (58:06):
It's like what my mom does?

Speaker 10 (58:07):
Yea?

Speaker 1 (58:10):
And how old is your mom, Scarlet?

Speaker 17 (58:13):
She's like forty four.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
And that's real old to you, isn't it.

Speaker 8 (58:18):
It's not that bad.

Speaker 1 (58:19):
It's not that bad. Okay.

Speaker 14 (58:20):
And yeah it's older.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Yeah, it's on the older side. And what do old
people like to eat?

Speaker 14 (58:28):
Well, my parents eat food that I eat.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
Oh, yeah, they don't eat anything like you know, soft
foods and stuff like that.

Speaker 14 (58:36):
Well, my grandparents eat like, uh, like a lot of chicken,
and they like to go out.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
And I don't know how old are your grandparents?

Speaker 14 (58:47):

Speaker 1 (59:48):
Yeah, old, yes, they like the old people like to
stay indoors or outdoorsh.

Speaker 14 (59:53):
Probably like half and half sometimes because my grandpa is
pretty spry, so cute.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
And what do old people wear? Abby?

Speaker 14 (01:00:06):
Probably like polos from like the nineteen.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Hundred, holdos from the nineteen hundreds.

Speaker 6 (01:00:11):
Yo, that's you, Johnny pollos.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):

Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
I'll take that. Yeah, that girlor cooked you just passed
the threshold on her by her standards.

Speaker 5 (01:00:35):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Anything else you want to say about old people? Abby?

Speaker 11 (01:00:39):
I think they're very nice.

Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
You think people are very I think so really? Okay,
all right, that's some good stuff. Anybody any more questions
for Abby? All right, you want to do one? Okay,
We're gonna take a wild card here. I don't want
to say what I'm normally saying because we got a
kid on the phone. Okay. Hey, what's your name?

Speaker 12 (01:01:00):
Madison?

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
Hey? Madison? And how old are you?

Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
Twelve?

Speaker 1 (01:01:05):
Your twelve years old? Twelve years old? Madison? And what
is old to you? Madison? How old is old to you?

Speaker 11 (01:01:15):
Fifty?

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Fifty years old? And what do you think old people
like to do? Don't listen to the radio. Listen to
your phone. Okay, turn down your radio, please, Mom, turn
down your radio please. You we're glitching. Yeah, well you

(01:01:37):
got your radio on and me talking is confusing. Okay,
there you go. All right, So what is what does
old people like to do? Madison? Okay, they just might
be listening to the app and I'm talking on the phone.
Serious delay. All right, man, let's put them on the wheel.

Speaker 10 (01:01:57):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Well, on average, you have forty four forty four, forty
four in a quarter. And what do we like to do?
People like to do for forty four and a quarter
on average?

Speaker 9 (01:02:06):
If you is old, if you are forty four in
a quarter, you like to play bingo, eat sandwiches, try
to be cool in front of people younger than you,
wash dishes, and plant stuff. And you're probably wearing polos
from the nineteen hundreds, the nineteen hundred cells so old,
the nineteen hundreds. Wow, all right, wow, okay, all right,

(01:02:28):
let's see. All right, let's be the whet's beIN in
the wheel.

Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
All right, here we go. You got Vincent one, Madison,
will Madison? Hung up? You have Vincent one, Charlotte two
and Abby three three three? All right, Charlotte, congratulations. Oh wow,
you got them, get them? You did. You were very

(01:02:55):
honest what you thought about old people. The old people
smell funny.

Speaker 11 (01:03:00):
Some of them.

Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
They can't help it, the old Yeah, he's gotta feel
bad for him.

Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
You can bring your spry grandpa.

Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
Yeah, br I liked that. I've never used that word before,
except for Mike. You've had an engineer. His last name
was Fry. All right, Charlie got four tickets exclusive screening
of Life of a Show Girl Saturday, October four. You
are going get your three friend three friends together and
have a great time on us. Okay, okay, all right,
you hold on, get your mom on the phone so
we can get some information. Okay, all right, Race liber

(01:03:31):
news was going on.

Speaker 7 (01:03:32):
We have a body cam footage from Morgan Walling getting arrested.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Okay, coming up on Johnny's House now.

Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
The Johnny's House Entertainment News with three Celebrity News is
sponsored by fair One's Credit Union. So we all know
that Morgan Wallan had his chair throwing incident, you know,
with arrested and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
Wow, with a chair throwing he just tossed it over
the wall.

Speaker 6 (01:03:55):
Yeah, which could have seriouslybody bought somebody.

Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
It landed like five stories down by a cop car.

Speaker 7 (01:04:00):
Yes, so, well it's back in the spotlight because there
is now newly released body cam footage from the Metro
Nashville Police sent It happened last year on the rooftop
of Eric Church's bar, and it ended with morganwall and
getting arrested, like I said, on three counts of felony,
reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly contact. He eventually

(01:04:20):
pled guilty to a misdemeanor reckless endangerment. He was sent
into probation and obviously served seven days in the DUI.
So the video shows Morgan repeatedly denying he threw the chair,
and then Morgan even called Eric and put the officer
on the phone with him.

Speaker 6 (01:04:38):
Really but like Eric wasn't there, so like how are
you gonna call Eric? And then yeah, so it was
almost like Morgan thought Eric could like get him out
of it. But there we go.

Speaker 7 (01:04:49):
So we'll play a little bit of the sound though,
because in the end there's footage of him sitting in
the back of.

Speaker 6 (01:04:55):
The cop car, and then this is kind of what happened.

Speaker 10 (01:04:59):
We've not trying to there's no problem man, I don't
know when they're I don't.

Speaker 8 (01:05:02):
Know how.

Speaker 16 (01:05:04):
Well your camp playing off the roof and landing right
next to my whole car. We're just trying to figure
out what happened.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
As she should. Nothing wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
This is in the car now, this is me and
Thomas Ritt.

Speaker 16 (01:05:20):
Turn it up.

Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
That's me and tr that's me right there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Oh now, mean tr tr is.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
One of the best. He's one of the best there's
in the world.

Speaker 8 (01:05:30):
He would definitely not.

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Be getting arrested.

Speaker 7 (01:05:32):
Oh so he got in the cop car and his
song was playing on the freaking radio, said Javis Red.

Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
Definitely wouldn't be getting arrested. Come on, now, come on now, wow,
So what.

Speaker 6 (01:05:43):
I mean that is kind of funny.

Speaker 7 (01:05:44):
I did so on the radio obviously everything, but the
cop turned out to like be like singing along basically.

Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
And like was a fan.

Speaker 11 (01:05:53):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
You got to do your job.

Speaker 9 (01:05:56):
I mean, of course they're fans. Yeah, bro, I gotta
take you in. You almost hit my car.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
I'm just like, oh my god, I love the beginning.
I'm just doing my job as you should, knowing that
he did it.

Speaker 6 (01:06:05):
Yeah yeah, and he like you know, the cop was
saying like we we saw you on surveillance video, even
though they I don't think they did.

Speaker 9 (01:06:11):
It's they went upstairs, they watched the video.

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
They see him fling the chair and then they're like,
I gotta take you.

Speaker 5 (01:06:20):
It's here.

Speaker 6 (01:06:21):
Yeah, so this is crazy.

Speaker 7 (01:06:23):
I know Brian always talks about AI and you know,
CHATGBT and all that stuff. Well, Universal Music Warner Music
is in advanced talks to license songs to AI startups. Okay,
so like now we've got big like companies. Universal Music
Group and Warner Music. They're in discussion to secure a

(01:06:44):
landmark licensing agreements with AI firms. So if it materializes,
the deal, it could set like the framework of how
music industry manages.

Speaker 6 (01:06:55):
AI generated content is fast. So it's happening.

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Is happening?

Speaker 7 (01:07:01):
Universal and Warner they represent you know, Taylor Swifts, Kendrick Lamarge,
Charlie xx. Like there's just like multiple you know, big artists,
but there are in negotiations as of right now to
actually have it happen.

Speaker 1 (01:07:14):
In the record industry, there's a lot of jealousy, and
you know that they get jealous when they promote one
living artist over another. How you think they're gonna feel
when they're not promoting your album, but they're promoting the
one from the from the AISN It's gonna get real ugly.
It's cheaper for them though it is the AI. Yes, yes,
they don't need to pay.

Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
Yes, So the record labels are asking AI platforms for
a payment structure similar to music streaming, where each play
of a song generates a micro payment.

Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
Yeah, and the record industry is like, listen, this is
the future we got to jump on. If we don't
jump on, it's gonna go right past us. So let's
go ahead and get some payment set up for an
industry that hadn't even been established yet. Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 7 (01:07:54):
Also, if you're a big K Pop Demon Hunter fan,
they're bringing it to Fortnite, so now they are crossing
over to the gaming world. So there's like a big
Fortnite K Pop Demon Hunters. How it's done undone fighting
thing that you can play, so it runs through November
first limited time mode.

Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
So that's huge. It's going to bring a lot of
people to the game and it's never played it.

Speaker 7 (01:08:17):
Yeah, I was gonna say so if you have kids
that play Fortnite or like K Pop Demon Hunters, there's
now a crossover.

Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Now, let me tell y'all, if your kid has never
played Fortnite, keep them off as long as you can.
It's addicting. Really, it's banned. It's still banned from my house.
He doesn't play it. Yeah, now he plays at his
mom and grandma's house, but you don't play in mine.
It's crazy. All right, we come back. We'll updg you
for the second time today. Almost trending on Johnny's side. Well,
we are watching two more things now.

Speaker 9 (01:08:42):
The National Hurricane Center started looking at new potential tropical
systems that are targeting the state. One of them has
the potential deforming to actual tropic depression or eventually storm
at some point. Okay, they say, if it develops, it's
going to be slow as it moves across the state
of Florida and into the Gulf. If one of them develops,
it so close already, it wouldn't be until it goes

(01:09:03):
out the other side by Tampa. Okay, So that's probably
what we're gonna get this weekend, those storms that even
though it's not tropical yet, and then there's another one
that's farther off in the Atlantic.

Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
It's just a bunch of storms.

Speaker 9 (01:09:13):
Right now, but they have a little path where it
may turn into something over the next couple days, about
a thirty percent chance, they said, in the next few days.

Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (01:09:19):
And then Amelda, which is actually a hurricane now did
cross Bermuda and it's now just kind of go doing
its own.

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
If we can get through October, things start cooling down
a little bit because wild November twenty ninth is the
end of I mean, is the end of hurricane Yeah.
Hopefully we've had.

Speaker 9 (01:09:33):
Them past that before recently, but I mean it is
starting to cool off a little bit and that'll probably
help a little bit. So if you are getting your
Halloween candy because it is October and by early because
it's expensive, Uh, you got to go back school, old school.
They call it Grandma core, which is, you know, doing
old people things. So vintage candies are making a comeback
for Halloween this year. Black and orange taffies, No, the

(01:09:55):
baby bottle pops, Yeah, the strawberry hard candies that your
grandma was, you.

Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Say, lemon heads. I love them, yeah, bid old honey,
bit of honey. I just love those two. It's kind
of a chewy peanut butter.

Speaker 9 (01:10:10):
It's like peanut buttery. But with like a little touch
of honey. It's like it's chew. We can't Yeah, very
true warheads.

Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
I don't like what for me?

Speaker 9 (01:10:21):
You can't go wrong with dumb dumbs. Yeah, And I
don't know who would want this. But they said Neco
wafers are big.

Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
Again this year. Well I love Necker wafers because it
made by the same the same company. Yeah, I love
those things. They lied to me though, said they was
going out of business. Thing on business now. I just
wanted to buy up the old inventory. Let me by
five dozen.

Speaker 6 (01:10:39):
I might have told you about that.

Speaker 9 (01:10:41):
They announced it, yeah, and then they got They wanted
to sell off all their old inventories.

Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
So I had twenty pounds. They're like, yes, we got one.

Speaker 9 (01:10:52):
And if you missed the iHeart Radio Music Festival, it
is joining you Hulu today, So starting today you can
stream all the highlights from the Heart Radi Music Festival. Okay,
there's a big special that's going on, so it starts
for twenty one days. It features performances from Tate McCrae,
Ed Sheer and Jelly Roll, Ello, Cool Jay, Mriah Carey,
Maroon Five, Glorilla and then some of the other stuff

(01:11:13):
that you didn't see at the behind the scenes stuff,
the interview stuff, all that stuff's gonna be on there too,
so starting today exclusively on Hulu.

Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
So if you didn't go and you want to see
it today's day, you can. You can check it all out.

Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
Speaking of Halloween, we come back. How much are you spending?
Chance of rain? It's seventy seven looking for high eighty
four and it's gonna be mostly sun. Looks a little
overcast today. So where are you going out and you're
looking for your kids costume?

Speaker 7 (01:11:34):
Yeah, so I'm either gonna go out and have them
pick something out or go online and have them scroll
through whatever and pick out pictures. But they're sat on
of course K Pop Demon Hunters, which by the way,
every single neighborhood is going to have five hundred thousand
of that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
You try to determin from that, or you say, okay, kids,
everybody's gonna have one of you.

Speaker 6 (01:11:54):
No, I just let them know.

Speaker 7 (01:11:55):
I'm like, hey, you're probably gonna have a lot of kids.
We're in the same thing. They're like, okay, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:12:00):
Oh, like they're only seven, so it's whatever to them.

Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
They don't care. They probably love that.

Speaker 6 (01:12:03):
Yeah, you look just like me.

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
Yeah, you know, it's funny when you said that, it
brought back memories. We didn't know what the costume was
soill they came home with it. Oh yeah, we had
no idea. We're gonna get the alligaen costume. I have
it today And it was usually the day of Halloween
and it's like here you oh you are a robots.

Speaker 6 (01:12:19):
Yeah. We didn't get honey, get it.

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
Now, dude.

Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
There was no input.

Speaker 11 (01:12:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:12:23):
I always asked the kids what they want.

Speaker 7 (01:12:25):
But growing up, I feel like, yeah, I feel like
my parents came home and a couple of like the
first couple of times.

Speaker 1 (01:12:31):
Ye just like, oh whatever, Okay, you're gonna be a
clown to day. Yeah, put it on and go get
some get some candy.

Speaker 6 (01:12:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:12:37):
But I was already looking at like the prices and stuff,
and it's like sixty bucks and up.

Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
Like you're sixty bucks up. Yeah, and that's the one
shot deal. We don't wear it one time.

Speaker 6 (01:12:47):
Yes, So I'm like, do I even attempt to create one? No,
because I don't have the time, and I'm gonna end
up still spending a lot of money trying to create
something that's true.

Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
Fifty sixty bucks. Yeah wow, and you got a buy too.
Yeah wow. So we want to find out how much
are you spending for Halloween? You know me, I'll recycle
the costume with a heartbeat. I might be I'm thinking
about this year. I might just be eighties.

Speaker 5 (01:13:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
Actually, it's funny. That's what I'm being. We only want
for two hours.

Speaker 9 (01:13:19):
Well, we're not going anywhere, and so we're doing like
we always do, the neighborhood. The neighborhood, like the driveway parties,
and our house is going to be themed eighties.

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
Yeah yeah, yeah, boom. Man, there you go, there you go.
I'm not I'm not spending anymore. Well, Mophius, I tell
you Morphus is gone. I lost the coke somewhere. Oh
that's unfortunately.

Speaker 9 (01:13:36):
Well that also means Nick Fury's gone too. Man, two
costumes gone at once.

Speaker 6 (01:13:42):
That is the universe taking that jacket away from me.

Speaker 1 (01:13:45):
Yeah, geez, it ain't over yet. That's one box I
gotta look at like.

Speaker 9 (01:13:50):
Man, that's a sad day when you lose two costumes
in one day. You know me, Man, I'll recycle the
hell of the I do not care.

Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
So we want to find out how much are you
going to be spending on Halloween costumes, not only for
yourself or for your kid. Are you doing anything for yourself?

Speaker 7 (01:14:04):
I don't know yet, dropped up. When you go out
with the kids a lot of times I do, Yeah,
sometimes I do. I might just have like a Halloween
shirt on or something that's it.

Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Yeah. And you're just going around trying to get beverages yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:14:15):
And Brian you said you're gonna wear ag. Yeah, I'm
doing the eighties thing. And and I don't have a
kid to buy four anymore. I don't spend anything, which
is nice, that's glorious.

Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
Again, as I mentioned before, there will be no trigger
treats at my house. Yeah, I mean, I'm I'm I'm
unplugging light bulbs, I'm putting all curtains, clothes. So you
look at my house. You want to know, if anybody lives,
there's gonna board up the house.

Speaker 6 (01:14:35):
Hanted house.

Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
That's fine. Don't come by my house because there's no
there's no no candy for you. There's nothing in my
house for you. It's not that you're like, are you
against Halloween? No, I just had a bad experience with it.
In my neighborhood. They're gonna start telling stories about the house.
He doesn't give out kids that house is haunted. Don't
go there. It was embarrassing just sitting out. Okay, see,
I'm starting to have flashbackskin, So I want to find

Speaker 17 (01:15:41):
My husband never participates in Halloween can always has to work.

Speaker 5 (01:15:45):
Yeah, I'm every year.

Speaker 17 (01:15:47):
Every year he's a chef.

Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
Oh okay, yeah, that's big money night. All right. So
how much you how much you plan on spending?

Speaker 17 (01:15:54):

Speaker 13 (01:15:58):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:15:59):
So what you dude?

Speaker 11 (01:16:00):
You have to go to good will?

Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
Yeah? Yeah, gotta be creative.

Speaker 17 (01:16:03):
Yeah, I gotta find out what tag is the cheap
tag day, it's yellow tag, green day, whatever day it is,
and then you tell them this is what you came buy.

Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
Okay.

Speaker 17 (01:16:13):
One year we actually spent under ten dollars. We did
ninety grunge.

Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
Okay, okay, I did that.

Speaker 17 (01:16:20):
My swand hair, blue eyes, looks back like a mini
Kurt cob eit.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
Yeah yeah, okay, we did that.

Speaker 17 (01:16:28):
We're probably gonna do it again because I already have
my closet full of grunge clothes. I never go down
to the grunge thing.

Speaker 11 (01:16:37):
From the nineties.

Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
So you like me, you know my recycling cost. But
mamm we just did grund No, mommy, what is grun
all different errors?

Speaker 13 (01:16:47):

you buy Halloween costumes?

Speaker 8 (01:17:00):
Four?

Speaker 13 (01:17:01):
Me, my husband, my four kids, and my daughter's boyfriend.
So we're probably gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
Be doing about brown. You go ahead and ask that question.
I was gonna ask you, but you go ahead, And
I mean, I'm afraid to ask because it usually this
turns out poorly. But why are you buying your daughter's
boyfriend's custome?

Speaker 11 (01:17:15):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (01:17:16):
So we wanted to do the Disney Princess team. You know,
me and my husband are going to Beauty and the Beast.
They're gonna go as Chiana and Levine.

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
And how old are they? How old are they?

Speaker 13 (01:17:25):
They're sixteen and seventeen, seventeen?

Speaker 9 (01:17:27):
Okay, So because you're forcing them into your theme, you're like,
all right, I'll take care of it.

Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
I think gotcha.

Speaker 2 (01:17:32):
The Halloween costumes.

Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
It's nice of you, and you're gonna do all this for.

Speaker 13 (01:17:36):
How much we're gonna honestly, it's probably gonna be about
five hundred five hundred.

Speaker 6 (01:17:41):
Are you entering a contest.

Speaker 13 (01:17:43):
What pictures to come out this year too?

Speaker 7 (01:17:46):
Now?

Speaker 13 (01:17:46):
I want good family pictures.

Speaker 1 (01:17:48):
Now, Cynthia, when you called, you didn't say five hundred.
How much did you say?

Speaker 13 (01:17:52):
You know, I said a thousand, but I tell you.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
Five hundred I was a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
But you were prepared to pay a thousand? Yeah, oh
my lord? Oh yeah, right, Well you mean you are
getting family pictures out of it?

Speaker 11 (01:18:09):
Yeah, good memories, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:18:11):
Okay, okay, when you take those family photos, will you
take one with the boyfriend in and one with him
out of the photo?

Speaker 12 (01:18:17):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:18:20):
And you know what, I think you should put him
right in the middle. That's how sure you are of it.

Speaker 11 (01:18:23):
Put the luxury of bold pictures.

Speaker 13 (01:18:25):
You know What's that he doesn't get the luxury of
being in both pictures, because like ten years from now,
if he's not in the picture anymore, at least we
have good pictures from him.

Speaker 9 (01:18:34):
Put him right in the middle that way, you know
the last because you erase them then it just shows. Right,
you're just saying that I'm making you're saying the bad
ju jew on it.

Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
Ashley from Orlando, Hi, all right, how much you planning it? First?
How many of your costume do you plan on buying.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):

the movie. But of course I have a one year

Speaker 11 (01:19:35):
When I called, I said three hundreds, But now that
I'm doing the math, I think it's closer to four hundreds.

Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
Oh four hundred. They said the economy is bad, you
are rich. What they're saying over the app.

Speaker 7 (01:19:47):

Costume.

Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
Go as you.

Speaker 9 (01:20:38):
Actually what she would have said, you know what, you
can go as a spoiled bread. There you go and
take it right back. That's what she would have said
to me.

Speaker 1 (01:20:43):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
