Speaker 2 (00:21):
The Johnny's House Entertainment News with's Ray.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
So even seeing this a lot where they bring some
of the older movies back to the movie theater and
many of the classic Christmas movies are headed back to
the big screen this month, which is really cool.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
Okay, which one's coming on.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation must have The Grinch Stole Christmas?
That is the twenty fourth anniversary, and then also Doctor
Seuss's The Grinch. Okay, so both of those elf. Yeah,
the Polar Express screwed.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
You've never seen Polar Express? Oh sank, Chris, it's very Yeah,
I love it. That's the cartoon one. Tom Hanks, Yes, the.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
Train and yeah, so a Christmas story.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Okay. My whole thing is I've.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Never seen a Christmas Story. I know the line, but
I've never seen the movie.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
So my whole thing is is that a lot of
these will be playing on TV. So it's like whether
or not you want to spend the money to see
it on the big screen.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
That's where I'm like, ugh, you like regular prices, these
are dis kind.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Of prices, right, I don't know because I haven't really
looked into that.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
I ain't going before a price the Special Cloud all
of you.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
I would imagine they're probably cheap because I want you
to spend the money on concession.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Ye. Yes, it is trying to get you to come
out of Like I said, it's already on TV.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
I mean Christmas Story he plays twenty four hours a
day and then you know, like every channel has that
come down to Christmas. So but I mean, like my
kids would love to see Doctor Seuss like The Grinch
on the big screen and stuff like that. So check
into AMC, Regal and sind Mark. Those are all the
theaters that are doing it. Wicked, So there was a
Wicked One Wonderful Night that aired on television and it
(01:59):
was massive. So basically NBC is going to do an
encore on air for New Year's Eve. They filmed it
at the Dolby Theater and its performances by Cynthia Rivo
Ariana Grande, and it includes like for Good but like
the big songs Wicked, wonder One Wonderful Night is going
(02:20):
to air on New Year's Eve at eight o'clock if
you want to see it.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Hey, they're putting in all the program New Year's Eve. Yeah, yes,
trying to keep you home. Yeah. Really, there's a.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Lot of stuff that is going like to TV or
like back to TV on New Year's Ey.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I agree with that.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
But then like after the One Wonderful Night Wicked, there
is the Toast To twenty twenty six that airs right after.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
They won't show TV all night. Yeah, don't we got you?
We got you?
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I feel like a lot more people do stay home
nowadays on New Year's.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, get together's like at parties at home and stuff
like that. I couldn't backing day, I couldn't. It's New
year Z where we go? I know they always had
us out working someway.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Also one less thing, a new movie is in the works.
Sonic The Hedgehog Universe is coming in twenty twenty eight,
So basically what they're doing is it's a Sonic spinoff
movie and there's also a new Ninja Turtles movie. So
they announced these yesterday. Okay, Paramount has announced the current
untitled Sonic Universe event film, and it's gonna hit theaters
(03:19):
December twenty second, twenty twenty eight. I don't know how
they announced these release.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Dates for some of these movies. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I mean, we talked about K Pop Demon Hunters that's
not coming out until twenty twenty seven, but these ones
twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
That's crazy. I saw the first Sonic movie with a
what's his name, Jim Carrey.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, I didn't see any of them, and I played
Sonic the Hedgehog growing up.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
I'm just not interested. Yeah, I saw it. I'm like,
it's like me, I know, yeah, but i mean.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
The teenage muche mutant Ninja Turtles, that's gonna be Hopefully
they do that really well.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
You know, I love that, right. They've tried it three
times in action, live action, in two in the cartoon.
I thought the live action was like it was weird. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it was kind of weird. But keep trying to keep
swinging you might get it. What do we do yesterday.
We'll update you next on Johnny's house. They say, mainly
after two pm is when it all goes down. Eighty
(04:13):
one is a high eighty sixty five right now. Yesterday
had a client call that I had to take. After that,
I took my car down to get it serviced. It
wasn't sounding right, so I took it down there and UH.
And I was exhausted. Man. I was sitting in the
in the in the waiting the area, watching old episodes
of Judy I love Justine, my wife, and watching we
watch every day. Really yeah, and I caught myself. I
(04:34):
caught myself and the only person was in the area
was me in receptionist and she looked over like, hey,
she's like wish I could be doing this. I was done.
Then I had to leave there and go pick the
kid up from UH from UH school and headed home.
Cooked dinner, and I told Brian said, dude, I was exhausted.
Speaker 7 (04:52):
Man.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I think I went to bed like seven thirty five.
I didn't watch any basketball. I ain'tknew nothing. My phone
called to my girl, A, I hope you well time
we kid, I'm going to This conversation will be like, yeah, yeah,
I won't be paying attention. You got to be understanding
in this situation. I went to bed Ray, how about you.
(05:14):
It was good.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
I had a virtual meeting, and then after that I
cleaned my house and then I got a little nap in.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Yeah, you mustn't have a lot of cleaning to do napping. Yeah,
not so much.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
I mean like I cleaned my floors and I mopped
and stuff like that, and then I just took a
nap and then went and got the kids and hung
out with them and played outside and then had dinner
with my mom.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Wow. Yeah, rockstar boy pretty much yet all right?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Rockstar brun. Oh yeah, now that a whole lot of
stuff going on. I was here all day. I didn't
leave ver on Top to two o'clock yesterday. Okay, we
had some clients come in. I had to record with
my distiller. Yeh yeah, the Lugo Craft Distillery over in Lakeland. Dude,
they recorded their spots. They're gonna run commercials. Yeah, and
my friend Christian who makes my stuff, his dad Peter
(06:03):
runs it. He does the Spanish version of their commercials
because they're a Puerto Rican family. Yea, yeah, whatever one
take really but they came in here and both just
knocked it out. I'm like, really, and I'm like, I'm
not one take and I've been doing this, That's.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
What I said.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
I said, Hey, man, I'm doing this a long time.
I said, I really aside about an hour and a
half for y'all. No offense. But you know, they they
have a little bit of a chee chee. They've been
doing interviews for a long time because of where they
are in Lakeland. They're kind of a big deal because
they're an official rum of UCF, official rum of the Jaguars.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
But but still it's pretty impressive.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
So they they knocked him out one take, and I
can't speak Spanish, so I'm telling him, Hey, now, I'm
gonna edit this.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Why you here? So you know, if you hear something
that don't go together, you need to tell me yes.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
So it was awesome. So yeah, I did that. We're
gonna we're working on some cool stuff with them. I mean,
we had a band of holy Field in here and
we needed. All he had to say was, hey, I'm
a band of holy Field, heavyweight champion in the world
and you're listening to Doc and Johnny.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Yeah, he couldn't. We had to splice it so your name,
I'm then to hold stop. Yeah, are you kidding? No?
Speaker 1 (07:06):
It took probably twenty five minutes. I want them on
the bus. I know he lives well, he maybe doesn't
live local anmore, but he's from here. Tracy McGrady was
was really tough. So PEPSI paid me to come do
some stuff with Tracy McGrady and edited up and so
I did.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
It's after he left.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
He was in Houston, so he came back to a
local high school to do some shooting and I went
over there to edit and film and video and I
got some audio for the show.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
And all he was supposed to say is.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
There's only room for one number one in Orlando, because
he was number one and he left and Doc and
Johnny were number one, and so that was and I
finally said, you know what, never mind, Oh no.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Some people get intimidated with the mike, your phone.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yeah yeah, if you just say, tell me a story,
yeah McGrady, well, Riff all day, he'll tell you a story,
but when you have to read a line, it's a
lot different.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
That's why I'm impressed. People did it with one take. Yeah,
they knocked it out in one take, which was pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
So yeah, So we did that and just hung out
with them for a little bit, just discussed some stuff,
working on some cool plans with them in the future.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Then I had to do my actual.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Radio shows and stuff, so I did that, and then
they brought food here. I've been trying to not eat
like a raccoon, but they hit me on.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
They tell me there's a bunch of food down the hall.
I walked down there.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
There's pizzas, chicken fingers, there's honey mustard dip, there's.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
We got containers. I don't even know. I don't even
know what the food is. I bring the containers down.
I just bring them down, man, red velvet cookies, like yeah,
so I ate that. So yeah, I got home and
then I just hung out with the wife a little bit.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
We did our usual Judgejudy watched a little Bearing Sea Gold,
and then I crashed out.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
It's amazing. If you see the old Judge Judy, she
was extreme. She's been doing this for years, because I
guess the ones that I watched it had to be
like twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
I mean, she's still just in mean and nasty. She
is mean man. Once she decides that you're done, you're done.
Oh yeah, oh yeah, well why won't you listen to me? Look,
you've already lied to me three times?
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Okay around I'm like, okay, Judy, I see I see you.
We come back. We'll find out if anybody still does this.
I've always wanted to but never did. We'll talk about it,
tell you about it. Next on johnnys Houth fouta And
there's a fifty percent chance of rain, they say, mainly
by this afternoon. Hoh today of eighty one, it is
sixty five right now. Don't forget to day is the
National Day of Giving. And if you look thinking of
(09:19):
an organization to give too, don't forget. Our baby DJ
program is up and running and we could definitely use
your help. Go to babydj dot org and find out
how you can. All right, I've always thought about doing this, Brian.
Have you ever done this?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
No?
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Reever done it? Nope, nope.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
And that's a giving out Christmas cars, sending out your
family Christmas, your family Christmas card. We've talked about it
for years and we've always said, Okay, next year we're
doing it. Yeah, yeah, And then the year gets away
from you and it's too late, and you're like, okay, okay,
next year, were don't happen and we still never did it.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
No.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Wow. I have friends that worked we worked together years ago,
twenty something years ago, and I never hear from him.
But once a year around Christmas, I get that little
family newsletter with the update on the the date that's
a whole day, what's going on there? And I was like, oh,
why this is so cool? Even I've moved. I'm like,
(10:07):
how did they find my address? I moved? And I
get the cart and there's a family and there's people
that go all out. They take family photos. Yeah my mom,
my mom did it and she told us we should
do it, but I never caught on to it. Yeah,
you know, and it got to send it out sixty
to seventy to now she sends out like five. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (10:24):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
So my wife loves themes and stuff, so this is
right up her ally, but she doesn't love Christmas.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
So that's why we probably never really latched on too.
We don't have a big family anyway, like in most
of ours that we get her from friends. Yeah, we
get about five to seven a year probably from the
same group of friends, We've always gotten one of them
that does send us, like a family, a letter like
what went down this year?
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Yeah, and that's always fun. I think that's pretty cool.
You know, you can sit back, you know, and just
think about it. All right. Let me just if no
one's been in contact with me for a year, let
me go through the whole year. Okay, at the beginning of
the year it started off. You know, it would be
pretty cool to do.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
That kind of update where everybody, Oh yeah, I mean,
if you have a family, like a big family, I
think that's probably cool.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
But if like what am I going to update him
on me? My wife and my son?
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I mean, and I feel like, just with social media though,
it's just it's kind of pointless sometimes because they see
the upheas in real time.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
But you know, physical cars, I.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Know, you know, I do get a lot of like
cards from people, and I always feel bad because.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
I'm like, what am I supposed to do it?
Speaker 1 (11:23):
I would have thought you would have been the Christmas
card person, I know, because you do love Christmas and
you are a theme person, and so I figured that would.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Be all over you, you know, and we usually like
will take pictures and stuff but that's that's just for
us and for social media.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
It's Yeah, my mom has cars and she put out Christmas.
I mean like like when she does the Christmas decoration,
she takes cards out and put them around like they
I mean, like my card at least fifteen years old, she.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Used to hang red yeah, across the house and then
drake cards over the thread that was Christmas decoration.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
Yeah yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Didn't want to bring that one up, but you out. Yeah, absolutely,
And then she would get out her box. I remember
my grandma get out her box and it had boxes
of cards that she had bought throughout the year in it,
and she would just start writing them out, like she
would go out and buy the cards.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
She already had.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Them, Yeah, because throughout the years she would buy Okay,
I'm gonna put this away for Christmas.
Speaker 9 (12:14):
Now.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
I know if your grandmother's like mine, because I mean
your grandma's like my mom, because they got a lot
of similarities. These Christmas cards always had glitter on them. Yeah. Yeah,
so it's like you've been to a strip.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Wow. I wonder why I never caught on because I mean,
well it did. We just didn't do it. Just didn't
that he said, seventy three percent of people do send
out Christmas cards. That's a lot. That is really. There's
one point three billion a year that gets sent out.
That's a lot really, So it has caught on. It's
just like if you don't do it, you don't do it.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
I know Jana Janna who you know, she does it
really yeah, and her daughter's older now and she still
does it.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
And I think it's the cutest thing. Every day every
day randomly, you know, when I come in the morning,
they're a Christmas card on the desk. Yeah, And I
was like, oh wow, I should send and went back.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I get one from my friends Chris and Lisa who
lived two blocks over, and they mail it and it's
them and they're little dogs yeah you know, Pretzel and
I can't remember the hood dogs now, and they're there.
They send their picture and they put it in the
mail and they mail it over.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
There's some there's two people that I get cards from
to do it the old fashioned way that they have
like a seal that it's like a plastic thing that
they put on the oh.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Yeah with like like yeah yeah, And I'm like, damn
old school.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
That is old school, Like dag, So I want to
find out from you. Are you want of the seventy
how many? What's the seventy one for seventy three percent?
Seventy three percent of people that still send out Christmas cards?
Are you one that just don't do it? Or you're
like us, I've always wanted to just never done it?
Have you? And due you send out those Christmas cards?
Who do you decide to send them to? Four O
seven now one nine one on six seven eight seven
(13:57):
seven now one nine one on six seven ex El
Mobile four one O sixty seven live streamers. You know
we love hearing from you throwing on social media Christmas cards?
Are you one of the seven three percent that sends
them out every year? And are you one of those
to put in those family updates? Four oh seven now
one nine one O six seven eight seven seven nine
one nine one O six seven. I know yup, So
carl us on Johnny's House. Chance of rain, they say,
(14:17):
later on this afternoon nice and warm, though the tims
a gonna drop later on in the week. Ho Diday
have eighty one It is sixty five right now. Seventy
three percent of people still send out Christmas cards. Holiday cards.
Do you or don't you send those cards out. Let's
go to one of spring talk to Nadine. Nadine, good morning, good.
Speaker 10 (14:35):
Morning, everybody, Happy holidays holiday.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
So you send out the day you send it out
them cards.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
So last year my boss was like, hey, you should
get this like seventy five percent off these cards for Christmas.
So we did it really quick. I never send out cards.
And I had a really good like you know, one
of those cruise pictures, normal nights like my kids and
I we looked good, like, let me use this picture.
So I got cards and I did that last year,
(15:02):
and then you know, this year is again. I'm like,
I want to do it again. I don't know.
Speaker 11 (15:06):
I don't.
Speaker 10 (15:06):
I don't think I am so, I mean, I don't
feel like it.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
It's a lot of work.
Speaker 9 (15:13):
I don't.
Speaker 10 (15:14):
I don't want to buy a book of stamps like
I had my my my mother in law, stepmother in law,
she mail stuff like buying stamps. And I don't even
know what promised stamps are these days.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
But what was the last time you gone into post office?
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 10 (15:34):
I don't know, but I have I have a couple
of stamps just in case I need to mail something,
I don't go buy a book of stamps for my mom.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
My mom is.
Speaker 10 (15:43):
Still mail things. She buys stamps all the time. I'm like,
let me borrow a stamp.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
But it's so funny.
Speaker 12 (15:49):
Because my my coworker that I don't work with, she
actually asked me for my address. I was like, oh,
I don't get hand delivered anymore because she you know,
I worked with hervice.
Speaker 9 (15:59):
I don't work with her anymore.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
I guess, I guess with cards, it's not official unless
it's mailed to you. Yeah, the colt.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
My neighbors could easily drop it off at my door,
but they mail it.
Speaker 10 (16:10):
My cousins do New Year's cards. They give me New
Year's like I have a couple of cusses up north
and enable you the New year cards, not the.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Christmas or every time, especially this time of the year.
If you go to the post office, it's packed. Oh yeah,
and they'll even ask you do would you like a collectible?
You're like, no, I just want to stamp. How many
you want what the nomination to come in? It's many
as you want.
Speaker 10 (16:33):
Yeah, it's a lot, a lot of work. I don't
I don't think I'm doing it this year. I don't
think I'm doing it this year.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
One and done.
Speaker 12 (16:39):
I'll take I'll take all your cards.
Speaker 10 (16:41):
I love them, I collect them, I put them up,
and at the end of the year, I put them
away in a box.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
There you go. That's what you do. I mean, all right, Well,
if you feel like it, the post office is ready
for you.
Speaker 9 (16:51):
Yeah right, all right, Thanks guys.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
You too, you too. That's funny. From Orlando, Coco.
Speaker 12 (17:00):
Good morning, Johnny.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
How hey Coco, how are you.
Speaker 13 (17:04):
I'm very well.
Speaker 8 (17:05):
I'm honored to be talking to you. I have a
longtime listener, first time college.
Speaker 14 (17:11):
College.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Well, we feel honored that you took this morning and
to call us where the one we're the ones where
the ones is honored.
Speaker 8 (17:18):
Oh that's so sweet. So I have been sending out
Christmas cards since my husband and I got married in
nineteen ninety six. Okay, and I started with our wedding
guest list, and I thought, if these people cared enough
to be invited or even potentially come to our wedding,
that they might want to get updates from us annually.
(17:38):
And then from there it just grew with folks that
crossed our paths, including when we lived overseas. I still
send cards internationally. It's to Nadine's point, it does get
quite costly by the time you, you know, have the
pictures taken, get its developed, to have your you know,
fill in the blank printer, and then the postage.
Speaker 9 (17:59):
It does add up.
Speaker 10 (18:00):
But for us it's just a it's like a little
hug we're.
Speaker 9 (18:03):
Sending to the mail, you know what.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
All of what you just said, what fascinates me the
most is that you still stay in contact with the
people that went to your wedding. And what year did
you say, nineteen ninety six? The people I went that
came to my wedding, I'm probably in touch with forty percent, right,
what's your precentage? Seventy? Like ten?
Speaker 1 (18:30):
I mean, And Johnny, you're won't have been to the
og wedding.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
He yet, Well, I think that's awesome.
Speaker 8 (18:38):
Also, it might explain that I'm a part of a
huge family, like my mom is one of eight.
Speaker 9 (18:44):
Children, my dad is one of fourteen.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Now my family part yes, but a lot of other
people that would have got the double one trays, yeah,
I don't know them, no one.
Speaker 8 (18:52):
Yeah, Now does get awkward about the time I'm addressing
personally addressing.
Speaker 9 (18:57):
The letters because I have to sometimes.
Speaker 8 (19:00):
My parents and says this person still alive.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Oh dad, Well, Coca about you know older older older
of course? Of course. Well you know what I do
is I send it anyway and if it comes back.
You got your answer. I like it all right, Thank you, Coco,
thanks for calling. Wonderful day you too, XM. Well will
(19:23):
power by Attorney Dan Newlin in EREC. Need to check.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
It's a no brainer, call Attorney Dan Newlan. A lot
of people do send them out. Someone said their husband
and their their two Wiener dogs in an ig contest
and won a professional portrait, so they send that out
this year. They said, yes, we are those people.
Speaker 9 (19:36):
Go.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Someone said they mailed eighty two cards yesterday. Who they've
been doing it since they were married forty six years ago.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
Wow, eighty two.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
And then someone said, my mom always does it, and
she would make my dad drive to Christmas Christmas because
there's a post office right there. I'm fifty in Christmas.
And then your card came from Christmas, Florida.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
Yeah, that one's always popping off around this time of you.
I met your dad. Swear every it's in a mile
to get the every year. There's a little dive bar
not too far from that's all right. What's going on?
Speaker 5 (20:10):
Is Amy Schumer getting a divorce now that she's skinny.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment news, that's.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Right, all right, So Amy Schumer, I guess hasn't been
wearing her wedding ring.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
And you know people.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
So uh yeah, but somebody Amy posted some new thirst
traps over the weekend.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
I don't know if you, I don't want to say thirst.
She just looks good.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
You know, she's sitting there like a little dress.
Speaker 6 (20:35):
Yeah good.
Speaker 5 (20:37):
She's enjoying her new glow up.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
She said.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
And it sounds like she's not taking him along for
the journey when I'm talking about like him, her husband.
She posted some new pictures and so he has nowhere
to be found and so and the way the ring
is not But people are saying that she's getting a divorce.
She is saying it's a coincidence. But I mean, like,
(21:03):
I don't think that she's ditching her husband.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
What's the thing. It's a statement. She knows how the
media works. She knows that if she takes a photo
in a place where her husband should be with him,
and he's not and she's not wearing a ring.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
People don't talk, I know, but I mean, like the
way that I look at it though, is that if
you lose that much weight, her ring might not fit
her anymore. So did anybody actually think about that?
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Well, look, all she had to do is like you
do back in the day, you take a brand date
and you wrote it around in a couple of times. So,
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
She doesn't seem to have it on in any of
her pictures if you go back and look at it,
like she scrubbed some of her old photos and videos
a few weeks ago. So a lot of people are
saying that they have separated or they have been separated.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Chris Chris Bro. I don't know what his last name is.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
To you, Chris Fisher, She's gone bro, She gone, yeah,
he makes that. Oh yeah, look she knew this was coming.
So she's like, let me pretty myself.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Up when I get out there on the market. There
is okay, what level of celebrity. Right If you had
to take a photo shoot and you said, oh, I
misplaced a ring, Johnny, can you call you boy with
I DC AA, Ray needs a ring, they would give
you one to web with a photo shoot, and you know,
she could got a ring, I know.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
And he's like, well, she's got to glow up, she's
lost weight, she looks incredible.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
He go, go, I don't know, I don't, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Anyways, Taylor Swift's a fit of affiliate, top the Billboard
Hot one hundred for eight straight weeks, and Anti Hero
is also her longest running number one. So right now
those two are tied for Taylor Swift's longest number one
song on the charts. Yeah, the track continues to go strong,
twenty one and a half million streams, sixty two million
(22:47):
in radio plays, and yeah, obviously her impressions just keep
going and growing.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
And yeah, I know she is. And the thing is is.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
That she's got her docu series that's coming out next week,
and so that is a massive thing for her.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
How many years you say she's been on fire? Like three? Yeah,
ever since Scooter bron bought her stuff. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah, that's when it really blew up. I mean, she
had her family, Yeah, I think anything was cool, but
when talking about this mega money, when she decided, you
know what, no, not screw me, screw you. Yeah, and
that's when everyone's like, you know.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
What, let's the time and energy it took for her
to re record every one of her song that show
she was not playing.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
No no, and and she came out with the music
on top of all that. So like that is very impassive.
But if you look at it, the Fate of Aphilia
becomes just the eighth song ever to come out at
number one and stay.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
There for eight straight weeks.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
So Olivia roy Jorgo's driver's License was another one that
we've played. So, I mean those are massive, massive things
for her. I just don't see what she's gonna do
in twenty twenty six.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
That is bigger than she take it.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Break, Yeah, relax, be awal to Adale said, how do
you do it?
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Be on the charts and then relax? They're like, just
get away, baby, right, get away you life, and when
you're ready to come back, come back. All right, we
update you on what's happening around the world. What's trending
eighty one sixty five degrees and a fifty percent chance
of rank update is b what's trending? Man? Well, I
talked about this a few weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Travelers without a real id getting charged to fee to
go through TSA. Well, now it's official, and it's not
the eighteen dollars that we had talked about. So tax
travelers without real idea, you're gonna have to pay forty
five dollars to go through TSA checkpoints starting next year.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
So I got a question, are they go have a
reader right there? So here's how it works. So, if
you have a passport, you have an other acceptable form
of ID, you're good.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
You don't got to pay the fee. But if you
do not have one of those, then you have to
pay the fee. You need to visit TSA dot gub
to verify your identity before you head to the airport.
Then you receive an email confirmation to present at the
TSA checkpoint.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Okay, that's how you get through.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
So my sister just flew out on Friday. She didn't
have the right idea you do ID. They It took
her over an hour to sit with TSA. They had
to go through like a whole process. They had to
call somebody. They yeah, they had to confirm, like she
had to confirm like my mom's name, her maiden name,
my mom's birthday, and like all these other things. It
was like a whole process and then finally they let
(25:10):
her through, but it was like it was over an
hour actually that she had to sit there.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
See. I thought they would do like you know, when
you go to another country, I don't have them give
me third five hours, give me thirty five.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah right, And they may do that in another country,
but here you had to go online, print out your
little confirmation and take it with you old school style.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
They really want you to not do that.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
That's why they made the fees so high, because I
think they thought eighteen bucks you might go, man, whatever, Yeah,
but forty five bucks is a lot.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
And seriously, the real I d thing has been in
place literally for twenty years, Like just go get it, yep,
it's super simple. Don't hand it to me, man, put
in my Yeah. So starting next year, keep that in mind.
Get your realized to man thirty five dollars. It's forty
five forty five and the headache of having to do
it ahead of time and then print that and then
take it with you, and you know the line to
get through that's going to be longer than the regular line.
(25:57):
Just get your real ID dummies. Yeah, seriously, it's not
that big of a deal. Today is Giving Tuesday. We
talked about that a little bit. We'll talk about it
more later. So it's the charitable follow up to Black
Friday and Cyber Monday. So they launched it back in
twenty twelve, and you're supposed to give back, so but
they are warning you to do it kind of smartly.
They say, today's a big scam day.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
So they say, know the a charity's exact name. Many
fake charities use similar names to so double check that
you're not using a d dot org a charity that's
not really a charity, but it looks very similar. They say,
resist pressure you're giving, So like if someone high pressures
you to give now, give now, give now, that's a
red flag.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
They want to hurry up and grab your money while
you're emotional to get caught.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah yeah, they say watch out for emotional appeals, appeals
without any sort of substance.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
They are just trying to move you to give.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
And check for transparency, Like if a charity's really a charity,
then obviously they're.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
Going to be cool with telling you everything you need
to know. I just think you're the lowest form of
life that you scam money. They're supposed to go to
a charity to help people to put in your own pocket. Yeah,
just low And those people said whatever, man, cool, So
what Johnny radio guys. I also think there's a special
(27:08):
hell space on place in Hell for you and people
scam senior citizens as a whole group of y'all today.
Oh you scam. Look, go over there, don't express. You
don't even need the little star on your draft flights.
Just go over there.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
Yeah, Unfortunately, they don't care what anyone thinks. I no,
that's the funny thing about it will happen, but one
hundred percent correct. Yeah, they don't care. Stupid radio guy
called me a loser.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Loser and the Orlando Magic limited the Bulls last night,
who were really good at fast break to next to
nothing fast break, and then we had a nineteen of
our own as we beat the Bulls one five at
the Kia Center, ninth game out of our last eleven
we've won now. Desmond Vane dropped thirty seven points for
a second straight game, which was really nice.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
This team is that whenever it's like, whoever is hot
that night, get the ball. We got a lot of
good players.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah, Frans Vagner last night and not twenty five Anthony
Black twenty two.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Uh so that was pretty nice. Star player still hurt. Yeah,
Coach Mosley said it wasn't a pretty win, but a
win is a win. That's the way I look at it.
So the Magic are now thirteen and eight.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
They continue their three game homestand Wednesday night at the
Kia Center against the Spurs.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
Good now, it's gonna be a good game. I do
what's his name, Wenby or whatever, you he's pretty good.
All rights tied to play smarter than your hood. That's
where you represent the city that you're in by letting

Speaker 1 (28:49):
What state of matter has a definitive volume but no
definitive shape, volume but no shape? Yes, I had to
go gas incorrect, sir? Really no wrong? Sorry, Well I'll
(29:11):
give you your ding on your really but it buzz
on your wrong.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
It says liquid here, that's hard. I got my mind.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Okay, yeah I could, but I mean liquid is is
pretty very fluid, so I don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
I have to.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
I'd have to do more research as to find out
as to why. But that's what the answer says. Would
you would you like another? I'll take another one, right,
I mean cause you know that one was kind of
until I do some further research.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
I wouldn't say it's hard. That's hard.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
I wouldn't say it that's hard. I wouldn't say it
was hard, all right? What type of cells carry oxygen
in the human body?
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Type?
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Say your city? Right?
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Uh, let's sells probly gonna kill me for that?
Speaker 4 (30:01):
Well, give up, Yeah, I can't. I couldn't tell you
red blood cells.
Speaker 5 (30:07):
I've been going to a hematologist for the past year,
and I should have known.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
That they're people listening right now and their cars going supd.
This is medium medium.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Level high school trivia is where we are right now.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
Okay, then if you feel that we didn't call four
oh seven now one nine one on six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one of six seven after
that question, two people hung up like, oh, I'm gonna
be looking stupid, all right, went against ice feeding rut
off the red nose rain there, represent your city, smart
you hood. We'll play next on Johnny's House seventy. Right now,
fog is gonna burn off the sunshine and it's gonna rain.
(30:43):
Fifty percent chance of that it's gonna be happening after
two o'clock. All right, time for you to represent your
city smarter than your hood. That'shere. We ask you some
very very very simple questions and all you have to
do is get the most right. And if you get
the most right today, you are going to check out ice.
Speaker 13 (30:56):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
This's got the gaylord palms. Now through January seventh, we
got to meet our first contestant representing this huge the
biggest city I've ever drawn through, I've ever driven through, Sumterville.
Let's say good morning, Ashley, Hey, Ashley, Hey, some people
would ask, where the hell is Somethterville?
Speaker 10 (31:15):
So is in the middle of nowhere, but to be technical,
it's near Bushnell past, the villages.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
Bush Nail Past. And how long have you lived in Somethingville?
Speaker 14 (31:27):
A year and a half?
Speaker 4 (31:28):
And what what brought you to something to Ville?
Speaker 10 (31:31):
The house prices?
Speaker 4 (31:34):
Oh yeah, true, I got you. I got got deal
out there and something I got you. I'm sure you're
loving it out there.
Speaker 10 (31:41):
I love my house.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
I don't mind small towns.
Speaker 11 (31:44):
Really yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
I mean now, I mean I used to be like,
I gotta be near downtown. Now I'm like, man, now,
just give me a nice house in a small town.
I'm cool.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
All right, all right, let's find out who she's going against.
Let's go to the city that I've never had a
bad time in. O Calli, Florida. Say good morning to
Kristian Kristin. Good morning, Christine, good.
Speaker 15 (31:59):
Morning, How are you good?
Speaker 4 (32:02):
Good good? And how long have you lived in the Oh?
Speaker 16 (32:05):
Oh good?
Speaker 11 (32:07):
Too long?
Speaker 16 (32:08):
Too long?
Speaker 4 (32:08):
Really yeah.
Speaker 11 (32:10):
It's just one of those things like where you move
here where your kids are little, and you just end
up saying, so it's been a while.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
We should have a club downtown called Fired up. That's
how long it's ago has been.
Speaker 15 (32:18):
Oh my gosh, being yes, fired up and used to
be something, Yes it was, it has grown to o'calla
yes good time.
Speaker 10 (32:30):
It really has. I mean the growth here is like phenomenal.
Speaker 7 (32:34):
It's crazy.
Speaker 10 (32:34):
Never what I've expected that from the time I moved here.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
So it's grown around you. That's a beautiful thing. All right,
all right. The way it works is we're gonna ask
you a question to not answer it you yell out
your city.
Speaker 12 (32:44):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
You get a chance to answer. If you get it right,
you get a point. You get it wrong, we take
away a point. But we got to sound find out
what you sound like on the air. So on the
count of three, I need you to yell out your cities.
Here we go one, two three, Okay, some deville a
little bit louder. We didn't hear you got grounded out.
Here we go one more time, one.
Speaker 9 (33:01):
Two three.
Speaker 15 (33:02):
Oh I had to listen for that one.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
All right. Here is the first question. What is a
word that has the same meaning as another word called
a cala. That would be Christine, That would be meaning
synonym synonym Christian. All right, all right, good one, you
got the point. Uh, b all right.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
How many justices serve on the US Supreme Court? Okallus
a call again, Christine, nine, Oh, that's correct.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Look at the big brain on you know I'm here.
You're not answer. You just didn't know the answer.
Speaker 9 (33:38):
It's part of the game plan.
Speaker 10 (33:42):
That I thought about this game plan before too.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
Yeah, that's that Summerville strategicy. You don't know nothing about that. Okay,
all right? What documents begin with the phrase we the people?
Speaker 10 (33:54):
Okallous, Kristin, Oh gosh, the.
Speaker 9 (34:03):
Decuation independence wrong.
Speaker 4 (34:06):
It's wrong, it's wrong.
Speaker 10 (34:09):
It's not.
Speaker 11 (34:11):
Conspetition.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
I had to take the first answer you gave me. Yeah,
so we're gonna make it. That's okay. You're still winning
one to none, nothing, one to nothing, all right, Christine, Christine,
if you get it right, you win. You get it wrong,
we go to the wheel, Ashley, you get it wrong,
you lose. You get it right. With the time we
go to the wheel. Are you are you already? We ready? Miss? Right? Okay?
Speaker 5 (34:36):
What US state is home to Mount Rushmore.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
For the time, Ashley?
Speaker 10 (34:48):
Washington?
Speaker 4 (34:49):
Washington? She said Washington. She said that would be South Dakota.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
I could see why you would say Washington. President's yeah,
makes sense. You know they got those big mom I
mean outside of that, why would you go to South
Dakoch really for real, Ashley?
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Unfortunately your plan didn't work, but you know what, you
can play again. Okay, all right, that was fine. Christaine.
Congratulations Ice featuring Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Galer Palms
now through January seven. Congratulations. You hold on while we
get some information from you. We come back. Yesterday was
that online buying. We're gonna talk about stuff by the
(35:34):
day of eighty one. On this day, given all we
asked you to do. If you're thinking though it looking
for a place that you want to help, our Baby
DJ program is up is running. There's several ways you
can help. You can donate, you can be a drop
off location, you can be a volunteer. We put up
the Amazon wish list. All that stuff up is helped
is up now. Yesterday we all left with big stacks
of letters that we individually read and we'll be starting
(35:56):
to contact some families by the end of the week.
So if you're thinking about giving, please go to BABYDJ
dot org. All right, yesterday was a cyber Monday. Anybody participate.
I didn't I did. Did you what you get?
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Just a couple of things that the kids had asked
for on their little wish list. So I tried to
get some of those. But I mean, I feel like
a lot of the deals had already been deals for
the past week. Yeah, you know, because they everybody was
doing their block body deals for the whole week, and they.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Spent like four billion dollars on Thanksgiving Day online. Yeah
shoppers did. So, yeah, I got.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
I was looking for some car mats and it brought
up the car mats and then I scrolled down and says,
because somehow they years ago. I guess they asked my car,
so it's in there, and I put them in the car.
And then I scrolled down, these mats do not fit
your car. Oh wow. But if that wasn't on there,
because it looked like yeah, I was like, oh damn, well,
(36:50):
that's nice that it did. It did because out of
you know, mean, I ain't throwing it both throwing it away.
It's just been some mats didn't Yeah, too small, they
were gonna fit in. They were going in. They were
going in.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
But like the kids asked for some like baseball softball
gloves next season and those were on sale. It's just
nice because usually they're like twenty five bucks and they
were like seven.
Speaker 4 (37:11):
So now that you've ordered, you just hope that what
you ordered will come back. I got scam by damn
t Move again again. It sounds like a U problem
now that must be Look when you go on to
eat those deals, they told me I got five gifts
for free. Oh yeah, you spend. Yeah, spent the five
gifts for free. So I picked the five gifts and
(37:31):
they said, well you gotta buy two things. Said okay,
I will buy two things. That's the trick. One was
these Christmas pillows. Uh. And this was from the local warehouse,
not the one that's gonna take two weeks. Uh. Christmas
pillows and they were supposed to be I think they
were like twelve bucks for like four all right, that's cool.
And about an artificial treat, which was like eight bucks.
Oh I did get one of those yesterday too on Amazon. Yeah,
(37:53):
not to them, but yours is gonna be your real size. Yes,
yours is gonna be for a Barbie dream house real
but you got to put it together. It's like they
bring me stems and then each it's not like section
are a bit, I mean, and then the pillows came in.
(38:13):
There's no cotton.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
You just got covers, Johnny, you gotten read the reviews.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Fortunately I do have cotton from the last time they
got me. I'm like, not problem. I get stuffed the
cotton in these days, and I still haven't gotten four
free gifts yet.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
I've never like fall I don't want to say falling
for because obviously it works, it's not like it's a trick.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
But I've never followed through.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Once I spin the wheel and I get my free stuff,
and then I have because I'm like, oh wait a second,
now you're throwing all these hoops for me to jump through.
And so I've never actually followed through and ordered a
free gifts. I can't get through. It makes me spind
the wheel. I don't want to spin the wheel. I
just want to go in and play around X in
the corner legs.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
So I spent twenty two dollars and I got a
plastic tree that's gonna take me about five years to
put together as a polo, and the crystal pillow will
be nice once I put the cotton in. But fortunately
I still have cotton in the garage. But it's not
what I put it on my Reindeers that I thought
were big in there.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
You know what, all of your mess ups I somehow
benefit from though. I mean the polo underwear that you
thought was for you, my son thoroughly enjoys.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Nice one on sale. I'm like, nothing dawned on me
to check the size. Yeah, I pulled them. I'm like,
oh damn, you should try to put them on. It's
one of those that I'm only tried to get on,
but they weren't coming off. So, Brian, everything you've ordered
probably much came.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
No, I don't ever get taken by anything online.
Speaker 7 (39:47):
No.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
Sometimes it's it's it's the picture looks like that, but
what comes to your house it ain't. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
No, I mean I also do not order from a
lot of discount sites. Yeah, most of mine Amazon, and
so for me Amazon has been pretty here.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
Yeah you get what you get.
Speaker 1 (40:03):
So yeah, I've never really the only I haven't ordered
from Team Wants. But it was like stuff I expected
to be cheap. Yeah, yeah, so it was okay.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
Yeah, I mean I got I do get some of
the outfits for the kids off of like those knockoff
because they're gonna wear it once or they're gonna grow
out of it. And so like these holiday shirts, like
I just got a Santa Claus that said suit subbed
for Leonardo and like is it gonna come in and
he's gonna wear ones and fall apart?
Speaker 4 (40:29):
Probably?
Speaker 3 (40:30):
But like I got Siana swat shirt and it looked
like sequence, like a smiley face that was a sequence. Yeah,
it was like a print whence And again she's still
gonna wear it.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
But think about it. Who can go wrong with Christmas pillows?
You know what I mean? I use the Christmas pillows. Yeah,
except the photo had cotton in it, right, there's just
no pillow in it. It's like cover a pillow cover,
But it'll be okay. I want to find out from you.
When did you order something and it wasn't like the picture.
It showed you one thing, but when it got to
your house, you're like, oh no, no, no, no, no,
(41:02):
oh no no, this is not what I ordered. Four
oh seven now one nine one o six seven eight
seven seven now one nine one on six seven x
L Mobile four one o sixty seven Live Street social media,
Wake up. We want to hear from you. It was
not like the picture you ordered it, and when it
got to your house, you're like, oh no, no, no,
we're gonna have to send this back. We're gonna hear
your story. So callers, now, Johnny's South. All right, yesterday
Cyber Monday, a lot of you bought some stuff, hoping
(41:24):
it's gonna be what you ordered. But sometimes when it
gets to your house, it was not that. Let's go
to Auburndale and talk to Tracy. Hey, Tracy, good morning,
Good morning, Johnny. Hey Tracy, Hey, you must be a
first time caller me. Yeah, are you are your first
time caller?
Speaker 13 (41:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (41:44):
I can tell because you don't know what you don't
know what to do. I don't know what to do
in my hands. Yes, okay, crazy to be careful, be careful.
Thank you for being the first time caller. So you
order something it wasn't like the picture.
Speaker 6 (42:02):
Oh my gosh, this is epic. Okay. So this was
during the height of the Tailor Swift Air Concert a
couple of years ago. There was a fail for an
advent calendar with little Tailor Swift figurines. Okay, they looked
awesome in the picture, you know, like little made of
plastic or whatever. But they looked like each of her
(42:24):
airs and everything. So I said, I said, this would
be really cool to have, right, So I order it.
It was maybe fifteen eighteen dollars something like that. Finally
came and I opened it. Oh my god, you're not
going to believe what it looked like. I've got to
look at one. So I opened one and they were
flat acrylic, clear, like pressed on pictures.
Speaker 7 (42:46):
On a little It wasn't.
Speaker 10 (42:47):
Anything that.
Speaker 6 (42:49):
It looked like.
Speaker 9 (42:50):
I said, oh my god.
Speaker 6 (42:51):
So I said, I'm returning this immediately, and they said,
don't worry because obviously it came from another continent.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
Yes, yes, and so it it.
Speaker 7 (43:00):
Up in goodwill.
Speaker 6 (43:00):
I said, I cannot even keep this. This is ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (43:03):
Here's the sad thing about the real scams is that
it's so much. They charge you so little that you
can only get mad, Like I'm not going to go
crazy over eighteen bucks, right, but for them, they got you.
They got you like eighteen dollars. But you think of
all the money exactly. Yes, that's how do you do it?
Speaker 14 (43:22):
Man?
Speaker 16 (43:22):
All right, that's it.
Speaker 6 (43:24):
You gotta be careful.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
Reviews Johnny, Yes, I think I will after this one.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
Well, Tracy, don't don't be a stranger, and thank you
for calling. Okay, guys, meror Christmas to you too. Yeah,
that's how they get you, man, Scarlet, Good morning, good morning,
And how old are you, Scarlet? I'm twelve, twelve years old?
And you saw something you ordered it it wasn't what
you thought, yes, what was it?
Speaker 17 (43:52):
So it was right after Christmas and I went on
this website that said they sold jelly cats. Know they
were all like fifty percent off, huh. And I spent
like one hundred dollars on a few of them and
I actually used my money. Yeah, and when they got here,
they were all wrong, like the wrong sizes, colors, the
(44:15):
tags had misspelled.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
Words that ain't cool. Oh no, what did you?
Speaker 14 (44:21):
Go?
Speaker 4 (44:21):
Ahead?
Speaker 17 (44:23):
We disputed it with the like my debit card company.
Speaker 4 (44:27):
Okay, and you got your money back. Yes, good for you.
Good for you. Learn a valuable lesson on that one.
Sometimes people can be cruel. Yeah all right, well scarl
you have a beautiful day in school. Okay, thank you,
thank you for calling. Bye bye. What these jelly cats
are a racket? Yeah they are.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
It looks like a beanie baby, but like they got
some of them that are fifty five dollars, sixty dollars.
Speaker 4 (44:49):
Some people want to know how you got one hundred dollars.
Speaker 15 (44:52):
But that ain't car Yeah, ain't very mature.
Speaker 4 (44:57):
She held that conversation. Nobody. There's nobody in the back.
I don't know what to say. I'm called the bank.
I disputed my charge. Way to go to Scarlett.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
Okay, So if you go to the Johnny's house Facebook,
it's actually really funny because people are posting pictures.
Speaker 4 (45:13):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (45:15):
Carl has said. This is my Tam Friday Krueger mask.
It is horrendous. It does not even look like.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
Johnny's.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
But he said that they thought they were ordering one
of those large alphabet Matt the kids play rooms like
the baby.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
It showed up. It was the size of a door. Mat.
I don't feel so bad. Look at that, Freddy kruger Man, only.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
That is awesome. Now I would keep that because no
one's gonna believe it. That was the most awesome thing
you get a like from me and Halloween. I would
go ask Freddy, go.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
To Johnny's house Facebook. Bad you got to see me
when they say or whatever. That is the wow level
power by Turney Dan Newland Interact.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
Need to check. It's a no brainer. Just call Tourney,
Dan Newlan. Somebody else is just like you, Johnny. They're
waiting on their three free gifts.
Speaker 4 (46:15):
Yes, one of my three free gifts. What's wrong with y'all?
They said you gotta claim them. I did. Every day
you get a free gift, that's how they get you
have to go back every day. I ain't going back.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
We get all the al right now, the Johnny's House
Entertainment News with.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Ray Entertainment News is brat toy by fair One's Credit Union.
So Meghan the Stallion, I told you that defamation case
against the bloggers then going up to Core and she's
actually been taking the stand and it looks like she
had a victory yesterday. Okay, So the jurors actually said
in the defamation lawsuits, that's the blogger she accused of
(46:53):
coordinating with Tory Lanez to defame her.
Speaker 4 (46:56):
She won, So she won over all of it.
Speaker 3 (46:58):
So after two days of deliberations, the jurors of Miami
Federal Court, they said that that blogger has been liable
for defaming Megan thee Stallion so intentionally she inflicted emotional
distress by coordinating with Tory Lanes and promoting the altered video,
and what they're saying is that the jury reportedly awarded
(47:21):
Megan Thee Stallion's seventy five thousand dollars in damages.
Speaker 5 (47:24):
I mean, it's not a lot.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
And I think it's just like the principle that she
wanted to win and and basically prove the fact that
Tory Lane set this up with a blogger and her
dad and his dad, I mean, set it up with
a blogger to defame her. And she was talking about
how she had to do, excuse me, a lot of therapy,
how nobody believed her that she got shot, and she said,
(47:46):
to this day, I feel a little like defeated. She's like,
this is cool that she won in court, but she
just feels defeated because no matter if the video was
fake or not, everybody wanted it to be real. Everybody
wanted to create the space where like she was making
up the whole fact that she was I.
Speaker 4 (48:03):
Don't remember what she said. What she's saying that that
the shooting was fake and that she was fake. I mean, yeah,
I don't know exactly what she's saying.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
There was like a claim, there was like a video
that basically said that it was fake that she was yeah,
that she was shot, and like all of that stuff.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
So I bother her.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
I mean, I think it's the fact that she like,
nobody cared that she got shot, and she that's so
she said. She literally said that. In course, She's like,
I felt like nobody cared that I was shot?
Speaker 4 (48:32):
Do you not hear that?
Speaker 3 (48:33):
She was like, I know everyone was making jokes about it,
And she described feelings so disappointed at the point that
she questioned the value of her life. She was like,
there was a time that I genuinely did not care
if I lived or died. I felt like that no
matter what, no way, no way, shape or form, that
I should have even been living. She's like, I don't
want to be here. I'm tired of waking up. I
(48:54):
don't want people to think that I lied about getting shot.
Speaker 4 (48:57):
You know, except for your very close friends and family.
And she's been in the game for a minute, Yeah,
why did she? And she knows she was she knows
she got shot. Yeah, why do I care? I have
somebody I don't know.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Well, And you also didn't help yourself by lying about
that beginning. Yeah, Yeah, the whole thing was like a
clown show at the start. So I see that's where
a lot of people just jump off, they're like, all
right whatever.
Speaker 3 (49:17):
And I think that, like because she even said in
the beginning like she was scared, she was scared to
tell the truth because.
Speaker 4 (49:21):
She didn't want, you know, like she didn't know how
to approach it.
Speaker 3 (49:24):
Yeah, but she said that her mental health plummeted, she
had depression, she had a therapy centor that she went to.
It was two hundred and forty thousand dollars a month
that she was paying to get over the fact that
she had depression, that she had therapy, that she didn't want.
Speaker 4 (49:37):
To let all this stuff is real. Yeah, you know,
I get, I understand. I just you know, you care.
I guess you care too much.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
Yeah, she just said it was really embarrassing. The whole
thing was just really embarrassing. So I mean, seventy five
thousand dollars is what she was rewarded.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
But I don't know, Lane, like embarrassing time and they
put me back in here. That's embarrassing, cool no matter what,
right in jail. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (50:04):
Also, real quick, the NFL announced that the pregame entertainment
for the super Bowl will take place at the Levi
Stadium and Santa Clara on Sunday, February eighth, And so
what they're saying is that Brandy Carlyle will be performing,
Charlie Pooth will be performing, Coco Jones will be performing,
So lots of entertainment leading up to that super Bowl
(50:27):
halftime show with Bad Bunny.
Speaker 4 (50:30):
But yeah, it's going to be pretty big. Really now,
I know that Elon must offer him sixty five million
dollars not to perform shot up. I doubt that's true.
Speaker 1 (50:40):
I know it's not true, but it wouldn't be too crazy.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
I know, must have extra money around. Yeah, I'd take it.
Speaker 1 (50:49):
Technically, if he wanted to buy Levi Stadium, he could
shut the whole thing down.
Speaker 4 (50:53):
That's why I can't be rich.
Speaker 5 (50:55):
It just it's so crazy to me, the drama around
the whole.
Speaker 4 (51:02):
When I read that, I'm like, wow, yeah, and then
I ask myself, would I take it? Well, he don't
need it. Bad Bunny don't mean it. He's not a
stadium tour no, okay, I.
Speaker 3 (51:09):
Mean, and you were going to say that you took
that much money to what not perform at the biggest stage.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
Yeah, he's worth I take it, he's worth fifty million.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
So you're gonna double my network. Yeah, I'm taking it.
That's funny any true? Anyway? All right, Hey, weird but true.
Get some rain later on this afternoon, all right, be
what was weird but true?
Speaker 11 (51:31):
All right?
Speaker 1 (51:31):
A bunch of technology fails and weird but true. And
this story is fun because it could happen in Orlando
very soon. There is a Waymo car in Los Angeles.
That's that SULB driving car that's coming to Central Florida.
It was recorded taking a left turn into a crime
scene and suspect apprehension. Okay, so there's a video that's
gone viral on social media that shows a suspect on
(51:52):
the ground, police aiming their guns at him, and this
car just takes a left hand turn a few feet
away because it doesn't know it's not supposed to. Well,
it's an active crime scene. It's happening in real time,
So this car is just going in the direction that
it's right. Yes, And that's why people are saying, See,
this is what we got to back up on, because
if a person was in this car, they would see
there's a police situation going on and there's lights and
(52:13):
there's sirens and I'm not going this way. But a
car can't make that assessment. And so the car went
right through. And they have video of it passing right by,
like inches away from where cops have their guns pulled
on this guy.
Speaker 4 (52:24):
The cars like, that's the street I'm supposed to be
on the street. That's the turn. I'm taking a turn. Now.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
The rest went down. Okay, the passenger inside was safe,
but everyone's pointing at it. Now, go and see how
this could have gone real sideways. I might have had
a tuck and roll on that one. Yeah, I'm gone.
Let's just keep that in mind as the waimo's roll
out around here. Now, if you've not forgetting your email
password was bad, because I forget all of mine. I've
had to reset my password so many times. This guy,
(52:49):
he's a magician and a scientist. He is locked out
of this RFID chip that he has implanted in his palm.
So magicians and I didn't even think about this. The
most amazing magic tricks I've ever seen happen with my
cell phone. And now that I read this, I kind
of think I know how it happened. So this guy
had this RFID chip planted into his palm years ago,
(53:11):
and he uses it between his phone and his fourth
finger to do magic tricks with people's cell phones.
Speaker 4 (53:16):
Okay, because if you get close to it, the phone
will read the chip and it'll do things.
Speaker 1 (53:19):
Okay, And so one of the craziest tricks I ever saw,
this dude pulled a what looked like he pulled a
like a handkerchief through my phone, and my screen was
going all crazy. But now that I'm thinking about it,
he probably had an RFD chip on his hand. Made
my screen go all crazy, and I was so mesmerized
by that I didn't realize that he was just pulling
a Yeah.
Speaker 4 (53:38):
But anyway, I digress.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
This guy forgot the password to his RFID chip, so
now he can't control the chip in his own hand anymore.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
So you can't be around anybody with a phone. Yeah,
pretty much. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
So they say the only way to get it back
is to stick an RFID reader to his palm for
days or weeks at a time so it can try
to read all the possible combinations for a password, or
obviously have it removed dig it out so next time
you forget your email password, it could be worse. This
guy doesn't have the password to his own hand. I'm
gonna have to write that down a lot of places. Yeah,
you would think, And if you use Android for your
(54:11):
work phone, you got to rethink your text messages. Google
just rolled out what's called Android RCS archival on Pixel
and other Android devices. So if your employer, like our employer,
does control most of our stuff, not our phones because
they're not issued to us, but if they were, they
could they.
Speaker 4 (54:25):
Technically would have control of it.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
So they now have a way that they can go
back and read all of your RCS, chats and Google messages,
text all that stuff, even though it's been encrypted.
Speaker 4 (54:36):
Okay, they're going to now have access to it. So
it's the phones that they pay only if.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
Their phone is issued by your employers. So if you
have an Android issued by your employer, you might want
to be careful or get yourself a burner phone if
you're going to talk junk about your people.
Speaker 4 (54:49):
See a lot of people when they when they get
a job, they get rid of their own phone and
use the company's phone. Yes, I say keep them both
because you're paying that bill anyway, right, you know, right? Yeah?
Because if not he can me you sitting home on
Friday night? Board, let me see what Brian up to.
Speaker 1 (55:03):
For years, I did AT and T commercials. Yeah, AT
and T gave me free service, but they wasn't through
the company, so that that was fun. But if you're
if like iHeart decided they're going to issue us all phones.
Oh yeah, that's cool.
Speaker 4 (55:15):
But they're gonna be able to read everything. I remember
a couple of years ago, for like a month straight
day before you got into your email, this this image
came up. They pretty much said, we can go through
your email at any time. Yeah, and we're like that
ain't right. Yeah, it is right.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
I guess back in the day because I don't have
an Android, the idea was it was encrypted. So even
if they no big deal. But now they can, like well,
public service announcement. If you're talking junk about your work
on your.
Speaker 4 (55:40):
Work phone, and if you got questions, go to the
office and ask see what they say. They get kind
of weird. They've been looking. I'd just get me a
burner if I was all right, today's one of those
national days. We want to tell you about it and
how you can participate in it. Next on Johnny's House,
looking for a hog today of eighty one, it is
seventy right now. Ray, what is today, ma'am?
Speaker 5 (55:57):
Today is Giving Tuesday.
Speaker 4 (55:59):
Giving Tuesday, National Day of Giving, yep. And it's supposed
to be the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, So whenever that is,
and that's the day that you're supposed to reach out
and help someone. And I mean I have to tell
you, you know, we have a Baby DJ organization here that
we are just now starting to kick off. We all
got stacks of letters that we are going to be reading.
And I say this all the time. You know there's
(56:19):
other places that have you know, they helped us time
of year and they pick an organization and they give
things to Well, we're an organization. We do it all.
And our warehouse is going to be opening here today,
Greg say hello, Greg. Greg will be handling things like that.
Our Baby DJ program is set up to help people
right here in our community. I mean, if there's any
other organization you want to help, today is the day
(56:40):
to do. So I'm just talking about the one that
means a lot to us. We got all the letters
in last week. And if you wanted the families that
wrote us a letter that say you needed some help.
Just to expect a call later on this week once
we go through all the letters and that kind of thing.
So if there's anything you can do to help, go
to babydj dot org. We need volunteers, we need drop
off lotions. And I think there's a gentleman that's been
(57:01):
a hole for like an hour now who has a
drop off location. David from Ovido, Good morning, Hey, how's
it going good David? And what did you want to say?
You got to drop off location?
Speaker 7 (57:13):
Yes, sir, yes, sir, we just got it set up
last night, Forge Garage and Ovido.
Speaker 4 (57:18):
Okay, we got it.
Speaker 7 (57:21):
We got the email. I believe last week that we
were approved. I checked. It's on the website. But Forge
Garage Avito they're open Monday through or you know, Monday
through Sunday. We leave ten ten to ten every day
and uh yep, we've already got the box out there.
We're all ready and we want to go ahead and
help you guys out.
Speaker 4 (57:40):
Well, that's awesome because our baby DJ warehouse is at
the Obito Mall.
Speaker 7 (57:45):
So I heard, yeah, yeah, that's gonna make it easy
on me.
Speaker 4 (57:51):
Well, we appreciate you putting it together, man, and my
thing is you know what all companies that do it.
If someone step up and say, hey, we just want
to put up a box and that's all you have
to do, and people will see the ox and they'll
drop off toys and then with those toys will help families.
Speaker 7 (58:03):
So uh, but I really appreciate the help because, you know,
like this is the.
Speaker 13 (58:08):
First time I've tried to do something like this.
Speaker 7 (58:11):
I'm actually friends with the general manager at Forts Garage,
Inno Vido, and we talked about this last week and
we just you know, we want to try to help
out and be part of the part of the community.
Speaker 4 (58:22):
What's the what's the gentlemanager's name? I want to thank them.
You can say it on the air, Okay.
Speaker 9 (58:25):
Hey to her.
Speaker 13 (58:26):
It's her name is Stephanie Lamb.
Speaker 4 (58:28):
Stephanie, thank you so much for thinking about the kids
here in Central Florida. Man. We appreciate you guys putting
it together. David, We'll see you soon, Okay, all right,
I appreciate it, so thank you. Thank you. And you
can be one of those those locations too. Again. Go
to babydj dot org and just say hey, and to
put up a box.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
All you got I mean to put up a box.
All you gotta do is put one up and tell us. Yeah,
it's pretty simple. I had people asking me what do
I have to do about the box? Just get a box.
Speaker 4 (58:48):
Get a box.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
I mean, if we have banners for you will hook yes, yes,
but decorate it. Just put it out in your store
and you're good and just let us know and we'll
tell people where you are. And then once the box
get full, bring it to the Baby DJ warehouse, put
it back out and feel it up again, because it's
gonna be insane. Volunteers, if you are a high school student,
you need to get those community hours.
Speaker 4 (59:06):
You can do that. We need restaurants to donate food
for the volunteers, and we put up the Amazon whishless
if you want those like look, I want to help,
but I want to do it from the privacy of
my home Amazon whistless click click, and it will be
delivered straight to the warehouse. So on this National Day
of Giving, all we're asking to do is think about
our baby DJ program and let's help out the people
right here in our community. We're not like those organizations
(59:27):
that a lot of you know, if you're helping kids,
that's fine. We help kids right here in central Florida.
This is where we are. We don't ship our toys
off anywhere else. They stay right here in our community.
So if you can also got an event, Brian, you
got an event to Saturday night? Yees?
Speaker 1 (59:39):
Saturday will be at the lighting of the Citrus Tower
with a Weeely Realty. They're hooking it up. They're just
gonna drop off others. They're gonna be a huge oh
yeah truck to drop off toys there. But they do
the first snow and they do the light show and
they have family event usually a petting zoo, all kinds
of cool stuff.
Speaker 4 (59:53):
So yeah, that's right off.
Speaker 1 (59:55):
You can't miss the Citrus Tower if you're over off
of twenty seven. So yeah, we'll be out there and
I think the it starts at six. We're gonna flip
the switch at seven. And Ray, you got one Saturday night?
Speaker 3 (01:00:03):
Yes, I'm going to be at Citrus City, which is
over in Samford. Thanks to the Semral County Fire Department
for putting it on. It's like a big block party
that they have and bring toys and have some drinks
and I know, I think there's going to be some
snow falling and some good time for the kids.
Speaker 4 (01:00:19):
And Tomorrow night I will be at Alixir. It is
a Baby DJ party, seventeenth annual. These are a bunch
of lawyers, so I guess I'll be there, and then
Saturday night we'll all be out Saturday night collecting. I'll
be at the I'll be at the it's a bowling
alley in winn A Park of a Luma Bowl, but
that one's already sold out, so I'll be there. I'll
be there and they'll be collecting tours for our Baby
(01:00:40):
DJ program. So just look on a BABYDJ dot or
get all that information and help us out. Let us
help the community together on this National Day of Given.
When we come back. Ran got some information about dating
seventy one and it's going to rain. It looks a
little overcast right now, but the Santa rain is not
gonna hit until later. Sout Nomber. What do we know
because yesterday they say it's gonna be signing all day
(01:01:00):
and it was overcast all day. I pretty much read
the temperature off my watch. Yeah, we tell people this
all the time. I just tell you what the people
tell me, and I tell the people and then Ray
tells me to wear the temperature and we go with that.
You want to tell me, tell me that they are certified. Yes, so,
but know this, if we told y'all that the sun
(01:01:21):
was out, we thought the sun was out too.
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Yeah, it also got us. It got us we were
sitting in the back on We got the people. No,
I got caught in rain for real yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:01:31):
I Uh. Dating, You know one thing we talk about
trying to you know, been that bridge between being single
and going out. So we throw out this information every
now and then. And this is kind of an unusual Brian,
you found this out how So I.
Speaker 1 (01:01:43):
Was reading this article and it's said that a lot
of the problem with dating right now is lack of
effort from people. One of the numbers they cited in
their survey was that seventy percent of millennial men have
never or rarely updated their dating profile since the first
day they created it. Wow, So they've never gone through
and posted new photos or talked about new things they
(01:02:05):
like or any of that stuff. So there's very little
effort apparently being put into the dating situation.
Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
So that's why the dating pool is so hard to
swim in. So when you go to these apps, I've
never and that's that's unusual. I've never gone I've never
belonged to a dating site, So they don't know if
that that photo you have is old or new. Yeah,
I mean they assume you've updated, you updated, yeah, yeah,
so you may have that photo out there and then
when they meet you, you ain't that person get you
(01:02:33):
very very easily.
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Or but like, it's also that you're not even trying
to sell yourself because if you like, you'll you'll update
your Instagram, you'll have your Facebook, you'll up in everything.
But yeah, but you're not trying to sell yourself to
the people. And you're on a dating app, which means
you are for sale technically in the dating world. But
you're not even trying to sell yourself by putting like
new photos or I you know, new things that you're into, yeah,
new likes that you have.
Speaker 4 (01:02:54):
Because that does change over time, change every week. Now
you won't know that until you do out that person
and you see that they changed a little bit, and
then you start So I understand you're like hiking, I
ain't been hiking years. Yeah, right right, So now I'm
sitting here going at that date. If you're not going
to put even effort in yourself finding someone. You're not
gonna put effort in this relationship, right, So after that,
(01:03:16):
I'm out. You know, it's like, oh yeah, so it
says here that you like going to the beach I
used to. I ain't you know your whole conversations, your
job might have changed, your career might have changed, I mean,
any of that stuff. If you've not updated this since
the day you started it, wow, unless you started it
last month, there's differences. So how is it being a scientist?
I ain't been a scientist. And yeah, I've never been
(01:03:38):
on a dating app. Yeah, I don't know the situation.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
I've also never looked for a person on a dating app,
so I don't know what you see on that end,
but apparently it's not a lot of work being put in.
Speaker 4 (01:03:47):
Now hiss thing. I've never been on one, but I'm
what the what was the first one to come out?
Match dot com? I filled out a fake one just
to see who was on it. Done. I've scrolled through
to see if I knew anybody on it. So when
you yeah, so when you when you I think I
have one up, Well I never put my photo because
you got that option. You never put it far right,
But you put these things that you like, and then
they'll put in people that, yeah said that they like
(01:04:10):
the same things. So if your likes have changed during
the year, that's fake adveratine pretty much. You know, like,
oh wow, I don't smoke either, I started smoking. Well,
according to it is right, you don't. They should tell
you like updated.
Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
Yeah, I was thinking, do they not do that? Then
they must not, because otherwise this wouldn't be a problem.
Speaker 14 (01:04:28):
All right.
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
I want to find out if you're in the dating game,
do you find this what seventy percent say that men
rarely or never update their profiles. Have you met someone
or you're meeting people out there and they're not doing so,
do you find that they're not putting the effort in
into dating? We want to find out out. I got
brunch for two at Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen is New
Orleans Day party with love music, beats, Hurricanes, French seventy
(01:04:50):
five bottomless mimosas, enjoy egg benedicch, chicken and waffles, and
the classic Vignet's Sundays from ten until two starting on
December seventh. You want to know more? A goot Tibby's
dot Com trying to find out about the dating game.
You find out that most of men never are rarely
updating their profile, or you feel like the dating pool
they're just not putting in the effort to date anymore.
Four oh seven, now one nine one o six seven
(01:05:11):
eight seven seven now one nine. It is seventy one
right now, they say, man, just don't give a damn
not putting in the effort in the dating game. Seventy
percent of straight millennial men say they rarely or never
update their dating profile. So if you're out there dating,
we want to hear from you and find out what
is going. Oh from Orlando, Hey Megan, Hey Johnny, how
(01:05:33):
you doing, Megan?
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
I'm good.
Speaker 11 (01:05:36):
I'm just getting back in the dating game.
Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
Really nineteen years, yes.
Speaker 4 (01:05:41):
Nineteen years. And I know you're not supposed to ask
a lady this, but how old are you now?
Speaker 11 (01:05:46):
I'm thirty seven.
Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
So you got married at eighteen?
Speaker 11 (01:05:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (01:05:51):
I did?
Speaker 4 (01:05:51):
So you got married at eighteen? And was this a
high school sweetheart? You know?
Speaker 11 (01:05:56):
I met him right after high school?
Speaker 6 (01:05:59):
Really much?
Speaker 11 (01:06:00):
I was still seventeen. I was young, dumb. But to
answer your question about men updating their profile, photo the
reason that I left my marriage is because he was
sharing my photo. What he was sharing my photo.
Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
As his own photo, as his own photo, he was
meeting men.
Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
Yes, oh oh so he used your photo to meet men.
That's a whole different candidate, right.
Speaker 11 (01:06:30):
He did all sorts of horrible stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
Okay, we need tell me. We'll talk about dating right now. Okay,
I can imagine. I mean, that's a whole different animal
that the team want. Like, was he interested in guys?
He did, but he didn't put that on his profile obviously.
Speaker 11 (01:06:46):
Well he did both. But the funny thing about the
dating game is that I changed my photo on Facebook
and now I'm in the dating scene.
Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
Oh so I'm assuming that you're you're you're an attractive woman.
Speaker 11 (01:07:01):
Megan, I think so.
Speaker 4 (01:07:04):
No, you have to have your husband using your photo
to pick up.
Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
Me in I know that, like once they showed up,
the gig is up, you know, like, you're he's a dude.
Speaker 11 (01:07:12):
Well he ended up cross dressing himself.
Speaker 4 (01:07:15):
Okay, Mega, So you want to go down some streets?
Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
Yeah no, I mean this is an interesting avenue to
go down. It just literally has nothing to do with
not updating yours.
Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
If we were all out if we're out of the
Johnny's House event and you and that we talked to
you all night, true all night, the true stories. It
happened to me, happened to story. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:07:35):
Wow, after nineteen years he started doing that, guys.
Speaker 11 (01:07:39):
I haven't listened to the radio in months, and I
finally turned you guys on and I was like, oh god,
I need to tell my friends what's happened to me.
Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
We can help, we can help you. That's great. Well,
how is it now dating after all this time, after
nineteen years? How was the dating?
Speaker 11 (01:07:57):
It's hilarious, Johnny, It's hilarious.
Speaker 14 (01:08:00):
My profile photo.
Speaker 11 (01:08:02):
And all the boys from high school.
Speaker 15 (01:08:03):
Came hollering from high school, look at you.
Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
Wow. So how are the dates? Are you going out
on dates? I mean, what's happening?
Speaker 11 (01:08:14):
Well, that's that's That's the greatest thing is that I
didn't actually have to date. I found somebody from high school.
Speaker 4 (01:08:20):
Oh so your first time out you met a guy
that you met in high school, and y'all just been
going out.
Speaker 11 (01:08:27):
Kind of sort of. I did try to play the field,
but the dating thing is really hard for somebody who's
been a wife for so long.
Speaker 4 (01:08:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:08:36):
Yeah, so I kind of.
Speaker 11 (01:08:37):
Just fell inside a situationship with a friend from high school. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:08:42):
Wow, so you're you're on a whole different chapter in
your life right now.
Speaker 11 (01:08:46):
Oh my god, that's exactly what it is. And I
really just wanted to call you guys and tell you
about it.
Speaker 4 (01:08:51):
It's crazy. Well, thank you, I appreciate it. I feel
glad good that you feel so close to us. Did
you say, you know what, let me update them on
my life?
Speaker 11 (01:09:00):
Well, you know, like the thing it was last year
you went to Lake Brantley. Uh huh and my son
was there.
Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
Hey, you gave me swinging on the radio. Thanks were friends. Yeah,
that's right, that's how we talked about. Yeah, and it
would make it would be weird if high school students
were just hanging out with me. Yeah, he also had
to go to class because most schools they just come
and sit on our laps. Kidding, they don't hang out
(01:09:28):
with us. They stop, they take a photo, they move on. Yes,
it would be very awkward. We don't. We don't spend
that time. But thank you, Megan, You're awesome. I'm glad
that you're happy. And if we're ever out of the
Johnny's House event you got a story to tell. Good luck,
got a good story to tell. Good luck your new journey.
All right, let's move on right. What's your working Shaquille O'Neil.
Speaker 5 (01:09:47):
Did you see that he was opening up about an
abusive relationship.
Speaker 4 (01:09:51):
No, yeah, Johnny's House, Hey Johnny, Maddy from Johnny's House
on nextl one O six seven. With our Baby DJ program,
we helped thousands.
Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
Of kids right now, the Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
That's raight, all right, So, Shaquille o neil, he was
talking about just life growing up, doing an interview and
all that stuff as he does. And you know, he's
been very candid about being fearful of his dad who
was in the military and he didn't want to disappoint
his mom.
Speaker 4 (01:10:19):
That was his stepdad.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
Yeah, real dad left, left me and Nicole win a
few months old.
Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
A daughter. Baby's greater than gold. That's but I guess not.
He brought me to this world. But you're not my dad.
Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Father figure was in the military and very fearful and
disappointing his mom because she had like these high standards
for him and all this stuff. So but now he
was opening up about how he was intimidated by many
girlfriends throughout the years, okay, and one of them was
because there was a girl in his youth that basically
(01:10:56):
bullied him. He said it was so bad in fact,
that he meant that he would hit her, or he
would she would hit him. Sorry, she would abuse him
or try to abuse him. And he said that his
issues with women started way before his startup, way before
all of that.
Speaker 4 (01:11:14):
If that happened to him, it was before he hit
his grossburg. Yeah, he was always big.
Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
I mean he was big when he was playing like
you know, middle school, high school basketball, but he probably
was awkward.
Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
Yeah, yes, and he is.
Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
While he is a giant guy, he's also a soft
guy at heart.
Speaker 6 (01:11:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
So, but he was talking about that it's never okay
to put your hands on somebody, but he references the
situation from like a humorous state now obviously because he's older,
but the fact that it stayed with him for decades
and it's just like a small bluff of his journey.
But he said, any abusive relationship in any context, even the.
Speaker 5 (01:11:52):
Sporting world, can do irreparable damage.
Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
And he was talking about like psychology wise, he said
that there were like so many circumstances growing up where
he just like remembers experiencing first hand of somebody trying
to abuse him and having a partner that was a
bully to him growing up. So he was opening up
about that and and this is like thirty years later
he's telling the story.
Speaker 5 (01:12:16):
Obviously he didn't say the name or you.
Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
Know, I don't think anybody ever forgets their bully. I
mean mine, Johnny Carlwill.
Speaker 5 (01:12:21):
Yeah, yours was a female.
Speaker 4 (01:12:25):
Yeah, freaking Tammy, old bitch. She's probably listening from prison.
I told you, I think mine's dead. I pray. I
asked God to kill him. I know you did like
crazy to me.
Speaker 14 (01:12:38):
He was.
Speaker 4 (01:12:39):
He took my lunch money every day. He wait on
the corner in the chest hand out. Tammy used to
chase me into the corner and pinch me and slap
me all the time. Damn them. Maybe they're married. Well, dad,
I think you wish that old lady prison. Yeah, Semonel
County shout out.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Anyways, Rolling Stone chose the twenty best movies of this year.
Speaker 4 (01:13:03):
I don't bet they're wrong. I've ever seen any of
them Rolling Stones.
Speaker 5 (01:13:08):
They just try to be like out there, one battle
after another.
Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
Was that's pretty good. Okay, so you did see that.
Speaker 5 (01:13:16):
Black bag train dreams.
Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
It was just an accident.
Speaker 3 (01:13:22):
Sorry, baby, Marty supreme sentimental value. I mean, I can
just keep going, or you can look it up because
I mean, obviously we haven't seen any of these best
Wishes for All No Frankenstein White No.
Speaker 4 (01:13:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
So anyways, those are the twenty ones or twenty top
movies according to them, but also real quick. Simon Cowell
says that he is sorry for being such a joker
in the early years of reality TV.
Speaker 4 (01:13:49):
That'de him successful, I know, he said.
Speaker 3 (01:13:51):
The upside is that it made the shows very popular
worldwide because of him just being so aggressive. But as
he's older now and or he's also a dad, he's sorry,
he said. I didn't realize I'd probably gone too far
with his words. He didn't particularly like audition days because
they were long and boring, and he would get fed
(01:14:12):
up and then just say no.
Speaker 4 (01:14:13):
If you ever see him now, was the America's got
talent things? Yeah, he's not that mean.
Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
Yeah, but so he said, of course, out of a
hundred nice comments, what they're going to use is the
mean things. So of course that's going to be the
best publicity for reality show. So he said, I'm not
proud of it, and so hopefully we could just kind
of put it away and put it in the past.
Speaker 4 (01:14:30):
But that's what made him stand out, that's what made
him famous.
Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
And I think the show needed that, Yeah, because you
had like the Paul Abdul who was like the nurturing
or whatever, Randy Jackson, very hype guy. Is you need
the guy going no, you're terrible, Like you.
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Need that, you do? I agree? All right? Keeping you
updated was trending that the second part for his.
Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
Pregnant wife went viral because of how specific he was,
the unusual combinations, and then the note that he left
when he ordered online, so they put it all on
the receipt to explain what they wanted. So he ordered
a large pizza, triple pepperoni, extra cheese, banana peppers, light jalapenos,
half chicken, half mushrooms, half caramelized onions, half olives, light sauce.
Speaker 4 (01:15:07):
Which is really crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:15:08):
But then he wrote, bro, yes, I know this looks
insane and you're probably like, who is this dude. I'm
the dude who's a has a very pregnant wife. I'm
done questioning what she wants. I'm scared of her, and
honestly you should be too. I promise this is the order.
Thank you in godspeed.
Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
So everyone's posting it, and everyone's chiming in on stuff
that they had to deal with when their wife was
pregnant or you have pregnant women saying yes, one hundred percent,
this is a man's husband of the year.
Speaker 4 (01:15:31):
I can understand Cravens, but all of those, Yeah, I
know a whole lot. That's a lot of different flame
was going on there. I know a lot. I know.
So the receipt got posted online yesterday and it was
all over the place. It made me like him. Yeah,
and they delivered it and the dudes like thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:15:45):
If you're a pet lever, we always say, you know,
if your pet is good to take in public when
there's a new lace that you could take your dog
in Belusha County. So the county just opened a new
dog beach in Daytona as of yesterday. Okay, so it's
over one and a half miles, but between Williams Avenue
and Seabreeze Boulevard, that's a lot of beach from Yeah,
there's a lot of beach. Now you do got to
keep your dog on a leash, and obviously you do
(01:16:07):
got to clean.
Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
Up after it, Yeah for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
But if you want a new place to take your
dog and it's allowed to be there, this new Daytona
beach area has a one and a half mile beach
for your dog to check out.
Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
I've seen people to take the dogs to beach and
the dog loves it. It's in the ocean just I
mean just having a ball. When we pull the boat
up to like sandbars. Then people that have big boats
that have dogs on them, they just run the sandbars.
Non stills love it, absolutely, love every second of it. Wow,
my little dog wouldn't like it. Yeah about two seconds
and be like now I'm good. My dog was like,
I don't even want to touch that water stuff. Yeah.
(01:16:38):
I try to put our dog in the pool. She
ain't having it. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
Kim's dog if it's by by a pool, it immediately
goes straight for it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:44):
And we bought a little kid pool to put by
the pool so when we were in the pool, we
could put the dog in it so she could have
you know, outside time. And she wants nothing good, so
I wouldn't take her here. But you could take your
dog there if you want. And Disney fans were going
crazy yesterday all over social media. So, you know, Rock
and roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios is changing, so they're
(01:17:05):
switching it from Aerosmith to the Muppets. They already announced
that and that's happening next year. Well, the pre show
for Rock and roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios is officially gone,
but nobody knew that was going to happen. So when
everyone got there yesterday to ride the ride, they walked in.
You usually would see Aerosmith in a recording studio. There's
a like a video pre show. They explained the premise
of the ride. The band's late for a concert, the
(01:17:25):
manager arranges stretch limos for everybody, and that's the ride
you get in. Well, now when you go in there,
that's walled off. There's nothing there. So yeah, it's just
a big wall with a bunch of gold records for
G Four's Records, which is the name of the fake
record label in the ride, and you just walk right
through now, so you just go right past that and you.
Speaker 4 (01:17:44):
Just walk on through.
Speaker 1 (01:17:45):
So yesterday people were posting photos like crazy because there
was no announcement.
Speaker 4 (01:17:49):
It just happened. But if it's your first time ever riding,
you wouldn't know.
Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
You wouldn't know that Aerosmith used to be there unless
you on the line, right.
Speaker 4 (01:17:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
So yeah, but they're just trying to expedite the flip
because they want to keep it open as long as
they can so people can ride it, but still also
rebrand it.
Speaker 4 (01:18:05):
Yeah, because it's going to be gone one day. You
won't even get that. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
So if you didn't go two days ago, then you
will not see Arasmith any longer on the rock and
roller coaster.
Speaker 4 (01:18:12):
And don't post none now you know, we come back,
go and find out if there's any scams for the
holidays that we should be aware of. The three get
up to eighty one today and it's going to be
sunny eventually. It's okays now and they say it's going
to rain mainly this afternoon. Now the holidays are here,
and it's funny if you listen to the show, always
listen to listen to the podcast. You didn't we mentioned
earlier on the day of giving, we said watch out
(01:18:34):
people scamming. A lot of people scamming you. So where
you want to find out if there was any new
scams that we should know about. I mean, we need
to put people on a notification.
Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
Yeah, because there's a lot of people, like Brian mentioned
for the Day of Giving, there's a lot of people
that are just pretending to be organizations to collect money.
But even like they're saying, people are trying to get
into your accounts with like passwords, with all the information
that you're posting on social media. But like right now
there's a lot of scammers is just trying to get
into your account.
Speaker 4 (01:19:01):
I find the text messages are are just going off
from different people. I get, I get ones. I don't
know if y'all get it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
Is like what you're doing, man, yep, I got one?
Are you going to the party? What time will you
be here? Like just I've read that those are fishing,
they want you, They're just trying to see if it's
a live number.
Speaker 4 (01:19:18):
Have you replied back? Even who's this? They know that
they put in the system. I just put a you know, delete,
put in a follow report same. I don't. But it's
just weird out of blue, like hey, well you've been
Hey what's going on? And I'm like, nah, I ain't
got time for that.
Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
Yeah, for me, it's the emails, Like I've been getting
a lot of emails saying that like, oh, my iCloud
uh has been you know, like my credit card on
my iCloud is not connected or something like that, or
like my Apple account is not connected to this. And
so like my emails have just there's been a lot
of phishing emails.
Speaker 4 (01:19:48):
I have one that says it's from our insurance company
and it just happened. I think by chance, it just
happens to be the one that they're fishing for, and
it told me that I that I'm gonna receive something
from them. I just need to go ahead and confirm
my information. Oh yeah, And I'm like, nah, nah, I
ain't messing with y'all. I am not doing this. So
(01:20:09):
we want to find out if there's any new holiday
scams or any scams that we have to be aware
of because this is the given season and a lot
of people out there are not paying attention. They're going shopping,
they're going online, They're answering emails going now, who is this?
How you being? I did answer one back new phone,
who this And they say is this? No, it's not
(01:20:29):
And then they try well, who is okay at this point,
I know what you're trying to do, but it's too late.
I'd let them know that I was a real person,
which means I'm gonna be on another damn call. This
got a pair of takes at Universal Orlando Resort, enjoyed
Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter across three
spectacular theme parks, Universal's Holiday Parade feature in Macy's, plus
All the Mischief and Marry to Richmonds at Sous's Landing
(01:20:50):
is all happening now through January fourth. At Universal Orlando Resort,
we'll be broadcasting life there a week from Friday. We're
gonna give this to you if you can tell us
in warm us of any scams that you are aware
of that we should be careful with. You've seen it,
you've noticed it, or they got someone with four oh
seven now one nine one o six seven eight seven
seven now one nine one o six seven. If it's busy,
(01:21:12):
you'll still want to drop it. Drop a text that's
four one oh sixty seven. Live streamers were rejoged, and
we're throw it up on social media. Someone is going
to Universal Orlando Resort. You just got to tell us
and inform us of the scams that are happening right
now that we have to be careful with this holiday season.
You need to listen up because these scams are out
there and we're trying to protect you right here on
Johnny's House. Who from your good kind heart. They're trying
to scam you. And we want to find out who's
(01:21:34):
out there trying to run some scams and give them,
give them a pair of tickets the Universal Orlando Resort.
If there's scams out there, we need to know about it.
Angel from Orlando, Good.
Speaker 16 (01:21:42):
Morning, Hey, good morning guys.
Speaker 4 (01:21:44):
What scams we need to be aware of?
Speaker 16 (01:21:46):
Uh? So, about a month ago, I purchased on eBay.
Uh it was like a computers for a vehicle computer Okay,
a scam and it was a sixteen hundred dollars. So
I was back and forth with the cellar and it
was good and he was responding. When the shipping came,
a keychain came in. Uh in the mayl.
Speaker 4 (01:22:09):
So it wasn't a computer, it was a keychain.
Speaker 16 (01:22:12):
Yeah, it was a keychain. And so in the seller
side it shows that he shipped the item. On my side,
I received the item so now eBay is telling me
that I need to follow police support because it's it's
showing that everything it's been done right on his side.
Speaker 4 (01:22:29):
Oh my goodness. Now what kind of rating did he have?
Was he new? He had?
Speaker 7 (01:22:33):
No?
Speaker 16 (01:22:34):
He had more more stuff for sale, a lot more stuff.
So whn't bad?
Speaker 4 (01:22:38):
It wasn't no bad ratings When you tried to hit
him back, what do you say? Oh?
Speaker 16 (01:22:42):
Nothing, that that the whole thing just disappeared, the whole
like that, the whole post sellar item, everything disappeared.
Speaker 4 (01:22:50):
And how much how much you out?
Speaker 6 (01:22:52):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (01:22:55):
Yeah, wow, bro, it's a lot. I mean, you know
that you take you take it. You're taking it kind
of kind of easy. I mean, but what else can
you do? You know, it's nothing else you can do.
Speaker 16 (01:23:04):
Yeah, yeah, so yeah, they just responded to me this morning.
I'm on my way to the police station to try
to h so yeah, like, yeah, just follow police, don't
the police report and and then just send it to
this email and you know they're probably gonna hold me
out hopefully.
Speaker 4 (01:23:18):
So listen, man, you need some positivity. Were gonna give
you these universal yeah, and these it real. Yeah. You
hold on a second, you hold on a second. Wow,
that's that's horrid. Timothy Fromkala, Hey, good morning Johnny's house.
What's up, Timothy? What's some scams we need to look
(01:23:38):
out for?
Speaker 13 (01:23:39):
So honestly, the main skin that I look out for
during the holidays or did definitely the fake delivery messages
were you're saying it that they have like an email
or a de text from like UPS or USPS SING
and that a package who give them be delivered for you.
Speaker 4 (01:23:54):
Okay, but it's not real.
Speaker 13 (01:23:56):
And I never clicked the link and I go straight
to the website. It's real, man.
Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
You just can't believe that you got a package deliver it.
What has happened in the world? Wow? All right, Timothy,
thank you, thank you for sharing that. Okay, all right,
thank you. All right, let's see let's go to Sanford
and talk to Stephanie. Stephanie, what's up?
Speaker 14 (01:24:16):
Hright? So basically, to start off, we all know what
the holidays people are, you know, lonely, a lot of
single people, elderly people. They just want to have somebody, yeah,
to talk to. And it could be on any site,
any tender, you know, any any type of reaching out
to get a friend or a loved one. But basically
people are going on there. It happened to one of
(01:24:37):
my loved ones that they try to get anything out
of you, whether it's financial information or even like photographs
explicit items, so they can then blackmail you and demand
you send them money or else they're going to release
this information out.
Speaker 4 (01:24:55):
To how much? How much did they try to charge
your family member? Oh?
Speaker 14 (01:25:00):
Like five hundred dollars dollars yep. But they were obviously
sending explicit stuff, which you know you shouldn't be doing
that to random people. But they were like, we're gonna
we have all of your family members on social media,
we're gonna send it to them, your job, you know,
all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:25:16):
Wow, did she pay them? Oh yeah, oh no.
Speaker 14 (01:25:20):
And then obviously after that they start asking for more.
Of course, you know they're like, I don't have anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:25:25):
She never got she never got the police involved.
Speaker 14 (01:25:28):
Oh no, no, there's not too much you can do
after that. You know, like these these people could.
Speaker 13 (01:25:32):
Be you know, across the world or.
Speaker 14 (01:25:34):
Across the country. So it's one of those things you
just have to watch out for. It could be like
it said.
Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
Anything, it's not it's not and it's not funny. And
I'm not making fun of it. I would just anytime
we take a call, we put ourselves in that situation.
And first of all, I wouldn't send the photos. But
if I did and they said, you want to send
it to my friend, friends and family, senate right ahead,
I would send it.
Speaker 5 (01:25:55):
Yeah, I happened to a high school kid. Yeah, which
is the saddest thing.
Speaker 4 (01:25:59):
Yeah, I'm an old, grown man. Send it.
Speaker 1 (01:26:02):
So we're gonna send it to coworkers and everybody unless
they are like across the world's gammers. They'll never send
it anyway because now they're trafficking porn and they can't
do that. But if they're in Nigeria, they don't.
Speaker 4 (01:26:12):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, right right, yeah, And I send it
because that ain't even me right with AI, Now, I
would tell I would say, you know, go ahead and
tell my people if you get something as a dude
that threatened me with some AI stuff. Amy, good answer,
good answer. That's what I would say. If anybody's going
through that, you know, say, hey, if if if they
threatened to say it's AI, it wasn't me, but somebody's
trying to you know, blackmail me. So if you get
(01:26:34):
these emails, it's not me.
Speaker 1 (01:26:35):
It's a I right, they generated it ain't real, you know,
you know me? Yeah, okay, thank you. If I had
another pair of tickets, I would give them to you.
But I'm sorry to hear about it about your family.
Speaker 4 (01:26:46):
But that sucks. It really does. It does suck. Yeah,
all right, well thank you, Stephanie. Uh huh bye bye. Yeah,
be what it' sayd over them.
Speaker 1 (01:26:53):
Let's see EXLM Mobile Power by Attorney Dan Newlan inter ret.
Need to check it's a no bringer, just call Ittorney Daniel.
There's a lot of them out there, and it security expert.
They do this for a living. They just said that
one of the latest ones they are seeing is people
sending calendar invites and when you accept those in and
then you clicked on the site for like the link
to go to whatever it is, they take all your credentials.
Oh so, and you know how we get calendar invites
(01:27:16):
around here, like a gazillion of them.
Speaker 4 (01:27:18):
So I just click yes because I'm tired of seeing them.
Speaker 11 (01:27:21):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:27:22):
You gotta be careful and make sure you don't just
click on one randomly. It's crazy. It's a battle out there.
Just be you know what, First of all, don't send
new photos and if you don't know the person, I
just don't do it. Yeah, be careful with that and
just be careful man. There are people out there trying
to separate you from your happiness, and don't let them
do that. All right? Is it dad? Giving? That somebody's
giving And we'll talk to them when we get back
on Johnson. Something happened.
Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
The hackers got us shut up with with your scam talk.
Speaker 4 (01:27:45):
Buddy, that's never happened before. We just can't dial loud. Wow,
all right, there's you know, today is the National Day
of Giving, and we want to thank some people for
helping out our Baby DJ program. And let's say good
morning to chat from Rosen's single creak.
Speaker 1 (01:28:01):
Jannis, Good morning, good morning everybody.
Speaker 4 (01:28:05):
How are you good? Good, good good?
Speaker 11 (01:28:07):
Hey.
Speaker 4 (01:28:07):
I want to thank you for what you did and
what you're doing for our Baby DJ program.
Speaker 6 (01:28:12):
Oh, you're very welcome.
Speaker 18 (01:28:13):
We missed you at our tremendous affair event the other day.
Speaker 4 (01:28:16):
That's always a good time. I mean the tree decorating
and then afterwards all those organizations and you got a
band and I understand you gave us a check for
twenty five hundred dollars.
Speaker 18 (01:28:26):
We did, and all the nonprofits who attended collected toys.
Speaker 10 (01:28:30):
We filled up that sleig.
Speaker 18 (01:28:31):
We had a sleigh next to Sanna, and we filled
up the sleigh with all the gifts for your teenagers.
Speaker 9 (01:28:36):
Yes, you did from the teenagers beer and.
Speaker 4 (01:28:38):
We're always I mean, that's the thing about people. When
we in our Baby DJ warehouse, a lot of people
donate stuff for younger kids. But if you have a
family and you have like a five or six year
old and then you have like a sixteen or a
seventeen year old, we hate for them to say for
us to say, you know, we don't have anything for
your kids. So you guys did that, and I really
do appreciate that.
Speaker 14 (01:28:55):
You're very welcome.
Speaker 9 (01:28:56):
Did your executive director tell you what else you want?
Speaker 4 (01:28:59):
No? What else? Did we?
Speaker 18 (01:29:01):
We had holiday games and we all the nonprofits competed
with some holiday party games.
Speaker 14 (01:29:06):
Uh, and you guys won?
Speaker 4 (01:29:07):
She did, No, she did, She said. She texted me
that night and said we won. And I'm like, yeah, okay,
what did you win? But she was excited. She tried
to call me and I said, what is you excited about?
But yeah, you have like trivia games and stuff like that.
Speaker 9 (01:29:21):
Right, Yeah, we have video of them. It was fun.
I'll have to share that with you later.
Speaker 4 (01:29:24):
Let's go on now with the Christmas trees that people
the nonprofits that they put together, there's a way for
people to see them and vote on them.
Speaker 18 (01:29:32):
Correct, Yes, and we invite everybody. Our goal is to
have our guests learn more about what the community is doing.
These nonprofits do amazing work in the central Florida area.
So we have twenty nine nonprofits who participated. All the
trees are lined up in our lobby.
Speaker 14 (01:29:46):
It looks beautiful.
Speaker 9 (01:29:47):
So it's a great way to get in the holiday spirit.
Speaker 18 (01:29:49):
If you come to Shingle.
Speaker 9 (01:29:50):
Creek, whether you play golf or you dine with us
or you.
Speaker 18 (01:29:53):
Book at staycation, stop buy our lobby and you can vote.
Speaker 10 (01:29:57):
For your favorite tree.
Speaker 4 (01:29:58):
All right, So the tree has like what a QR
QR scan on it, and you can you vote that
way or is it way you can see them online?
Speaker 9 (01:30:07):
No, Actually, this year we're doing in personal boring and so.
Speaker 10 (01:30:10):
There's a ballot area where you vote for your favorite tree.
Speaker 18 (01:30:14):
And then and so you can kind of take off
a coupon and you'll get the discount at our restaurants
if you'd like to stay for dinner or lunch when
you come.
Speaker 9 (01:30:21):
But all the trees do have a QR quote.
Speaker 10 (01:30:23):
However, it leads.
Speaker 18 (01:30:24):
To the nonprofit website. Okay, so that our guests have
the opportunity to learn about the mission of that nonprofit
and also donate if they liken you talk about Giving Tuesday,
there is an opportunity to support the nonprofits as well.
Speaker 4 (01:30:37):
And they're in the lobby of the Rosens to Single.
Speaker 18 (01:30:39):
Creek, Yes, Universal Bull of Arts on the.
Speaker 4 (01:30:42):
Universal of Art. Well, Jannis, thank you for everything you
guys do. You're always helping us out with our program
and what you want to take a moment and say
thank you for what you're doing is Giving Tuesday, and
you guys are definitely given over there.
Speaker 16 (01:30:53):
We are.
Speaker 9 (01:30:54):
Thank you for continuing that legacy of mister Harris Rosen
doing the right thing.
Speaker 4 (01:30:58):
Amazing man, amazing many amazing man.
Speaker 9 (01:31:01):
Absolutely all right, thank you much.
Speaker 4 (01:31:03):

of him. As Ray, what's going on. We have a
fun little meeting today. I told you we can boycott
and not go. I'm down. You know last time we
were I think there was some food to eat to
be delivered, and we were all running a little late. Yes,
he was just sitting in there himself.
Speaker 3 (01:31:20):
Oh yeah, well I'm gonna be late to it, so
let him know we have to do Fox. I'll just
do Fox real quick in then now you but you
guys can get started without me.
Speaker 4 (01:31:28):
I'm not that port. He was sitting there like he
had a birthday party and nobody show up.
Speaker 3 (01:31:31):
Oh yeah, I mean other than that, I'm going to
try to get a run in.
Speaker 4 (01:31:37):
What is your Wow, you're gonna be ready? You're doing you?
Speaker 1 (01:31:45):
See?
Speaker 4 (01:31:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
Yeah, I was hoping I would break some toes or something.
Speaker 1 (01:31:52):
Until then she's tanya harding herself, have somebody outside to
beat her up.
Speaker 4 (01:31:59):
Yeah it's good for you, right good. You could do it,
and then you got an event for maybe d date
that night. I have three events that day.
Speaker 5 (01:32:13):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:32:14):
Good for you? Right wow, good for you.
Speaker 5 (01:32:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:32:18):
I wouldn't do it because I told my girlfriend I'm
gonna meet her at the bar, but that didn't work out.
Speaker 4 (01:32:28):
You can't just now listen, I know they have like
a five K Why don't you just run that one.
Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
I tried to get out of it. I tried to
do the ten K. I tried to do it, but
she was like, no, I know you can do it.
I know you can do it.
Speaker 4 (01:32:39):
Why don't you just trip over one of your kids
toys or something. I'm saying, twist and ankle.
Speaker 3 (01:32:44):
All right, she's doing it with me, but I told
her to go ahead of me.
Speaker 4 (01:32:47):
Yeah, I'm gonna tell you go ahead. What what Me
and Brian, what's set up? One of us will pick
you up, drive you now. Don't now wait to your

so I gotta, I gotta, I get it.
Speaker 1 (01:33:04):
I half marathon r You're crazy, like between now and
when I die, whenever that might be. I won't run
a cumulative half marathon unless a bear's chasing me a
really long way today.
Speaker 4 (01:33:16):
I won't drive a half marathon. That's wild wold. And
you just started running today.
Speaker 5 (01:33:22):
Well, I know.
Speaker 3 (01:33:22):
I mean I ran seven miles on Saturday. I ran
four miles on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (01:33:27):
Oh you're close, and that's what thirteen point three or something? Yeah,
something like that.
Speaker 5 (01:33:35):
You guys sound real confident in me.
Speaker 4 (01:33:37):
Well listen, I think you could do it. Last time
you did it, you stole on an award from a
senior citizen. So I think you'll do it. That was
a track on and then you got three events after that.
Speaker 5 (01:33:45):
Yeah, a birthday party, baby DJ.
Speaker 4 (01:33:49):
Look, I think you could do it. Thank you. I
got faith, Hey man, let's put some money on his own. Yeah,
I think you're gonna make it. All right, let's get up.

Speaker 5 (01:34:17):

and I don't.
Speaker 4 (01:34:22):
You'll be fine. You'll do it. You will do it.
I have no doubt about it. You'll do it. But
I don't expect you to be on Monday, because what
you feel is gonna hit your on Sunday. Then the
aftermath will be on Monday. So Brian might just be
you and I on Monday. Stretch it out, that's all.
And then you got to Christmas, the holiday. Good luck
to stretch it out. Good luck Ryan, see Christy
