Speaker 1 (03:16):
Really Yeah, hang out, good case, Okay, continue, I'll find
it because I saw it you pomp up yesterday.

Speaker 5 (03:21):

Speaker 7 (03:22):
That is cool.

Speaker 8 (03:22):
Only four episodes of season five are out so far,
and more are arriving on Christmas Day, which is perfect
because people are out for the holidays. Yeah, and then
the finale New Year's Eve. So you got a lot
of things to look forward to if you are a
Stranger Things fanan oh, wait to next year to finish
all of them.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Finish off and then you say something like it's gonna
be a movie.

Speaker 7 (03:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (03:43):
So like they're saying that the actual the last episode
or whatever is going to be a movie.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
So the guy's name is Clayton Royal Johnson. He plays Andy,
the jock that turned Bully from season four.

Speaker 7 (03:56):
Oh I did see that.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I don't have a photo a p Yeah yeah, so
I didn't know he because I didn't watch the show.
But he's from Orlando.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
I did see that pop up too. He's not like
a green football football jacket on or something.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
This is the guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's from Orlando,
that's all. I'm just from Orlando, look the same. Yeah,
he does have that little Chase Stakes five.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (04:17):
Oh that's funny. Apple Music they just released their year
end data. You go, So, I mean Kendrick Lamar is
basically topping all of their hole lists.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
About what they play. So yeah, he was the.

Speaker 8 (04:30):
Apple Music Caftons absolutely, So there you go. So if
you look at the top ten songs a well, name
some of them for the twenty twenty five Luther Kendrick
Lamar sis a Kendrick Lamar nowogus, this is a Kendrick
Lamar thirty for thirty. Morgan Wallen, I'm the problem, Kendrick
Lamar TV off, Lady Guy got Bruno Mar's dad with

(04:52):
a smile, Drake with Nokia number seven.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
You can cover it up just a little bit.

Speaker 8 (04:57):
Yeah, So, I mean there's a lot Morgan wall It's
it's Morgan Walling, Kendrick Olmeyer, that's all it is. So,
but of course you're gonna get a lot more of
those year endless obviously because we're like.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Three weeks away from that.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
In the year it's like old school XL when we
would do Red Hot and Boom oh yeah, and then
magically artists from A Hot and Boom would be on
the Hot nine at nine.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yeah, I'm a number two.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Same thing. I'm not saying it was rigg. I'm just
saying they were called they were number two.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Y'all all right, yesterday updates we'd like to share with you,
and we'll do him next on Johnny's house right now.
I don't know if you've watched any type of weather map,
but we're the only place a couple places in the
country that's warm. Everything else is freezing, yes, frigid frigid
man forecasts. I'm like, whoa wow, And where you said
your your relatives?

Speaker 7 (05:43):
Oh yeah, they're getting pounded with snow right now.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
Seventy two is a high sixty two right now and
mostly sunny. Yesterday, ran out of here to the quick nap,
picked the kid up from from tutoring. Then I had
to rush home start dinner because I had a meeting
at four thirty. And he comes on like I got
a meeting, So I tried to get that halfway done.
Took a meeting about the cruise next year. They're gonna
give us some options and we'll throw them out there

(06:06):
and find out if we want to do it again,
if y'all want to do it again. That kind of
thing that went well. Finished dinner, sat down, cleared the table,
start reading baby DJ letters, And let me tell you, man,
the kid walked in and he goes, what are you doing.
I said, you know what I'm doing. He goes, can
I read one? I said, I got one right in
front of me and he read. I'm like, just the reality.
That's what's happening in the world. There's a lot of

(06:26):
people hurt and just feel blessed. We're doing okay. And
he says, wow, Say well, you're gonna do to it
because you got some community service hours. You going to
that wait house?

Speaker 9 (06:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Right, he gonna be up in there. Did that, took
a break, called my mom see how she was doing,
got back to it, and I watched the nightly news
and then I went to bed and I was like okay,
and I finished the rest of them up tonight. Ray
how about you?

Speaker 9 (06:46):
It was good.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
After a meeting, I did go to the grocery store.
I had to pick up some stuff. Then I did
go for a run yesterday almost five four and a
half yesterday.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Look at you, you're almost there.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
Yeah, so but I had I didn't have enough time
to like actually go a lot further.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
But I was like, I need to do something. So
I got four four and a half good.

Speaker 10 (07:08):
Good.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
It was nice out there was like a breeze, so
it wasn't too bad.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
You gotta do three times as much.

Speaker 8 (07:13):
Yeah, yeah, so we'll see how that works.

Speaker 7 (07:19):
And then after that, I just got the kids and
kind of just had dinner and hung out with them.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
I'll give it to you. You ran four miles and continue
on with your day. I run four miles. That's my day. Yeah,
that's it. That's that's like my week. Yes, that's so,
that's it on the agenda.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
Yeah, what do you do?

Speaker 5 (07:33):
Ran four miles? What'd you out to that after that?

Speaker 11 (07:38):
You know?

Speaker 8 (07:39):
I like ran and then got straight in the car
and then went and got picked them up, and I'll.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Run getting the cargo home, take a shower, and just
chill and be happy with the fact that I completed
four miles.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah, what you're doing?

Speaker 5 (07:50):
Just chilling? You want to do something now, I'm good
to go. Well good for you. Almost me. What's up
with you?

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Man?

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Nothing? Just did some stuff around here. Yesterday. I did
watch the first episode of the Diddy documentary on Netflix.
It's very good so far. It's not like the hit
piece they were talking about so far. It's really just
setting up who he is and how he got to
who he is. So far, so it's pretty interesting. So
I did that and then we decided to go get
some steps in. But we did it at Eppcot. So

(08:19):
the Festival of the Holiday is kicked off this past weekend,
so we went. They had the candlelight procession. Man, it
is jam packed last night. I don't know who he
is the guy last night. I think it's a Broadway person.
That's why I don't know, because I'm not cultured. I
know they have big names yell season, but it doesn't
even matter because people just want to go and see
the chorus sing are the choir saying.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
And that person just comes out and reads.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Reads, and it was packed and the line to get
into the next one was already started before the other
one started.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
It was wild. Well I think a lot of people
make that. There's like a holiday tradition. Yeah, you know
the thing.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Luckily, my wife and I are heathens, so we just
kept on going and we tried some delicious food. So yeah,
they had some good stuff this year. They have a
California sushi role that's made out of it, like made
into a Christmas tree shape, which was cool. We had
a strawberry bow bun that tastes like strawberry quick, which
is so good. We tried some of the cookies. We
did Canada because the Canada has always got like a

(09:13):
beef stew with some potatoes that was always good. So yeah,
we had so it was packed. It was just the
area was the whole park. Yeah, no, it was weird.
It wasn't packed, but it was crowded. But most of
the people it seemed like we're there for the candle
light and since we weren't, it wasn't that bad. We
didn't have to wait in very long lines. I think
the longest line we waited in for food was ten minutes. Okay, wow, okay,
and we don't go for the rides, so like we

(09:33):
go to walk around to check out all the food
and the Christmas stuff in every country. Yeah, so yeah
it was. It was pretty cool. They have they have
different Santa stops in countries so you could see what
Christmas is like in that country. Oh really, yeah, so
it's pretty cool.

Speaker 12 (09:44):
I see.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
I think it's cool, Like right now, if you're local,
I'm like, now up until maybe a week before Christmas
is we go.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, that's why we picked the random Tuesday.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
Night, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah, and we got ten thousand steps in and we
ate a little food and yeah, you didn't really have
very many drinks. We only have like one drink, so
like it's actually not as expensive as it usually is.
And we knock out like ten drinks. So yeah, it
was a good time. So we did that and then
I just went home crashed out. Betty Good, Betty Good,
Hey we come back. There's a new trend that's happening
with parents and their kids when involving Christmas. We'll find

(10:15):
out if you're doing it and we'll tell you all
about it. Next don Johnny's house.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
See Sonny, that little bit of rain is gone getting
up to about seventy two, and it is sixty two
right now. Ray, you saw parents posting about Christmas and
what they're not doing this year.

Speaker 8 (10:26):
Yeah, so I see more and more parents talking about
how they're opting out of getting toys as presents, okay,
and getting like things like theme park tickets or trampoline memberships. Uh,
let's see hear our trip to the zoo. So there
was like a bunch of things that were just like

(10:47):
instead of toys.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
Yeah, yeah, they're.

Speaker 8 (10:49):
Opting out because they don't need more things. They just
want more experiences.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Sat down with my kid a couple of weeks ago
and I said, hey, man, you've mentioned nothing that you
wanted for Christmas. And he goes, you know, I got stuff.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I don't want any new stuff. So he said, I
just want cash. I'm like, I gotta put something under
the tree. I buy your sweat. Yeah right, you can't
be sitting here with a tree with nothing under it.

Speaker 12 (11:11):
Nothing.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Yeah, So I'm gonna get you a call, some sweaters
and some shorts or something by you some new sneakers.
But yeah, I'm I'm gonna give me a check. Yeah
that's what he wants. I'm like, okay, yeah.

Speaker 8 (11:20):
I mean my kids are seven, and I mean they
search toy town.

Speaker 7 (11:26):
I don't know. I mean like they have.

Speaker 8 (11:29):
All their like sports stuff that they like to do,
and like outdoorsy stuff. They like playing games together as
like a family, but as far as like toy toys,
like I mean, they.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
Want anything if it was a toy ticket.

Speaker 12 (11:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (11:42):
It's just crazy though, because they're like I want to
go on an airplane, or like I want to go
on a boat, or like you know, like they say
things like that and I'm like yeah, or electronics electronics.
Yeah yeah, but I mean, like they have their tablet
and like I said, like they they opt out. Are
theyre opting for like the family game things.

Speaker 7 (12:04):
It's the weirdest thing.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Yeah, and get me a yo yo. It's a scared show. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Sorry, the easy good old days. Yeah yeah, yeah, seat
silly puddy. You mean I can stick it on the
newspaper and it'll pull up the ink.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
Wow, it's good for a girl little boy. Yeah. Now
they're like, yeah, what is it? What do I plugging
in that kind of thing? Wow? I want to find
out if that's a new trend is going on right now?
You're not getting the kids toys, but you're getting more experiences.
I mean your kids say I want to be on
a plane.

Speaker 8 (12:40):
Yeah wow yeah, And I'm like, okay, well, well what
if mommy can't afford that, or like you know, Santa
can't bring you a plane?

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (12:48):
So mine went about I won't be on the plane.
So do I I think we both want to be
on the plane. I'd love to be one. Let's put
that on our list. If you're a parent and you've
opted out or in the past, you say, you know what,
we got enough toys and stuff like that. Now I
want to buy some experiences. What are you doing outside
of buying toys? Four oh seven now one nine one

(13:09):
O six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one
o six seven. The XL mobile is available for you
to text and we would read it for you. Live streamers.
You're talking to each other, talk to this, talk about
the show. We want to hear that. You would throw
it up on social media. Parents are saying, no, I'm
not buying all these toys anymore. I'm now getting experiences, uh,
theme park tickets, trampoline park membership, stuff like that. If

(13:30):
you're doing that, tell us and tell us why you
changed to do it. And if you're done in the past,
tell how tell us how it worked for you. Four
oh seven now one nine one O six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one on six seven. We'll
wait for your call. It's Jounty Town two is are high?
It's sixty two now. I looked up d Luth, Minnesota
because that's the coldest place that we used. We have
a friend up there at we lost his number and
I think the height to day was three and the

(13:52):
lowest negative thirteen. Yeah, the hogh to day of three.
I mean nice there, three three three. A lot of
parents are saying, you know what, I'm not buying all
these toys anymore. What I want to do is buy
some experiences and getting the memberships to places they want
to go and have some experience with them. I want
to find out if you are one of those four
oh seven now one nine one o six seven eight

(14:13):
seven seven nine one nine one o six seven from Orlando. Hey,
ju league, good morning, good morning. All right, so you're
not buying toys.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
No, we're doing a cruise in March instead.

Speaker 5 (14:26):
Oh wow, And how many kids do you have?

Speaker 6 (14:29):
We have three?

Speaker 5 (14:30):
And what are their ages?

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Two fourteen year olds and eleven year old?

Speaker 5 (14:34):
And the fourteen year old was cool?

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Then yeah, he actually wants to go to New York
and the other one wanted to go to a cruise.
So we compromise and we're doing the cruise and then
we'll do New York next year.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Wow. Wow, okay, so and then we did.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
It's like one gift, but it's like a sentimental gift,
uh huh, just so that they each have like a
blanket to take on the trip.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Which wow, it sounds to me like y'all have like
family meetings and stuf.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Yeah, we tried how they want to do things because
I'm like, loo, do you guys have all the toys
and things like you don't really use them. They're not
into that stuff eleven year olds.

Speaker 11 (15:13):
And to make up and things like that's something.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Let's take a trip together, Let's build memories and pictures
things like that that you guys can you know in the.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
Future be like, oh, I did this with my parents.
I did that with my parents.

Speaker 10 (15:25):
You know.

Speaker 8 (15:25):
Yeah, there's a oh, sorry that's gonna say. There's a
video that is going around. It's going viral of a
mom asking the kids, Hey, like, what was your favorite
gift from last Christmas?

Speaker 7 (15:35):
And the kids could not name one.

Speaker 8 (15:37):
The guests did not name one gift that they had
under the tree, but they did remember, like, oh, well,
what was your favorite thing last Christmas? And they were like,
oh when we sat around and watched this movie together,
it was like the experiences that they remember, not the gifts.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
That is so cool. How often do you have like
family meetings?

Speaker 4 (15:55):
We try to at least once a mom's third twiite month,
depending on what's.

Speaker 13 (16:01):
Going on in the morning.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
We tried it once when I was growing up, and
my dad has even having family meeting because people weren't
doing their their choice and stuff like that. And after
that we didn't do it again family meeting. Wow, Well,
enjoy your cruise. That's cool that you guys had to
do that. That is so cool.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Thank you. You guys have a great help.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
You can tell you and your family are all on
the same page, or or they say stuff when you're
not around one of the other, but either one is okay.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
See you.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Julie by.

Speaker 8 (16:36):
Olivia said, our Santa brings three gifts to represent the
Three Kings, gifts for baby or for baby, and then
they said after that it's more of like a gift card,
so they could go spend it on whatever they want.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
Two to three gifts.

Speaker 8 (16:52):
The rest of the kiddos get just like presents that
they can or money that they could spend on experiences.

Speaker 7 (16:57):
In my memories, kids want cash.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Yeah, I guess it's different when you you didn't have
any cash, so I couldn't ask for cast because we
ain't have any cash.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Right, there's no cash in the house. There's nowhere to
spend it. Oh yeah, now I just get that. Yeah,
so everything's just different.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
So for them to give me cash, they would also
have to take me somewhere to spend the cash.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
And now you can do it in the privacy home room.
Brian would have saying Excel Mobile Power by Attorney Dan Newland, Interact.
Need to check. It's a no brainer, just call attorney
Dan Newland. So one said, yeah, we do cruises and
we buy those and just wrap up a ticket and
stick it under the tree. Someone said their kid wants
Monster Jam tickets because they saw a commercial for it. Okay, okay,
so you have most of it is experiences. They said, wow. Yeah,

(17:36):
they said. Someone said, I do feel guilty that there's
nothing to unwrap, so I buy stuff that really just
gets put to waste because nobody wants it.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Yeah, I'm buying clothes and he needs some more shoes.
I'll get throws and because it got to be someone
to death.

Speaker 10 (17:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Someone said, tickets to magic him. I used to that
with my son. I would print out, like, you know,
one of his favorite players on a print out, put
it in the box. I would get him a magic
T shirt and then put tickets in there.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
Yeah. Yeah. Or I could like we have around the station,
put some stunt boxes Yeah for sure, Hi, Ray, what
you got girl?

Speaker 7 (18:06):
ABC is going big for dig Clarks New Year's Rock
and Eve now.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
The Johnny's House Entertainment News.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
That's right, all right.

Speaker 8 (18:15):
So ABC is going big for dig Clarks New Year's
Rock and Eve with Bryan Seacrest and they just dropped
the lineup that is going to be performing. And they've
got Chaperone host Malone, Mariah Carey, fifty cent Hunter Tricks
from k P Hop, Demon Hunters four, non Blonde, Oh wow,

(18:37):
Marion Morris. Uh, let's see, there's just so many. It's
just Charlie Pooth, Sierra, Demi Lovato.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
Well, they're gonna be spread across the country though, right,
not all in New York.

Speaker 8 (18:47):
So it looks like it's jumping off in New York
and then but also they've got people in Las Vegas, Chicago,
Puerto Rico and more. Seacrests and Ruto Aura are going
to be in Times Square, Chance the Rapper is going
to be in Central Time in Chicago with Rob Gronkowski
and Julian Huff. They're going to be in Vegas. So
it's going to be all over the country. But yeah,

(19:10):
it is massive. How many people are involved in this production.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Now, what's your boy's name? He gets drunk?

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Uh and uh and Cooper did. They basically tell them
you got to work no more.

Speaker 8 (19:24):
That was probably one of the best to go down in.

Speaker 7 (19:28):
History of the years.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I didn't got to come next year happening.

Speaker 7 (19:37):
It's like at the end of the show, and that's
what he was sounding like. I'm like, okay, it's.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
Like it sounded good when they thought when they were
talking to each other, it's like we did the Hall
of Fame broadcast. It sounded real good. We were doing it.

Speaker 8 (19:46):
And you know when you're like having a laugh with
somebody and people watching and you're like, okay, are you
done laughing?

Speaker 7 (19:51):
Yeah, Like with them, they were just laughing the whole
entire time.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
If I was them, I would never look back at
the broadcast.

Speaker 7 (19:56):
I would I would look back at it were you never,
I would not.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (20:00):
So, like I said, it's just it's massive, Rick Springfield,
New Kids on the Block, when Republic, Madison Beer a
little big town, Little John Leon Thomas, Jordan Davis Jesse Like,
I'm telling you, there.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Are a lot And they started nine o'clock.

Speaker 8 (20:15):
It was kicking off at eight o'clock. Eight o'clock eastern.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (20:18):
Yep, Okay, Massive Lizzo thinks that everybody should get canceled
at least once.

Speaker 7 (20:25):
I mean, like it could be an.

Speaker 8 (20:26):
Eye opening experience if you learn. If you take it
as like a learning losses rich.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
If you've not reached and you get canceled, you broke
who told her she's not uncanceled?

Speaker 8 (20:36):
Yeah, So she said everyone should get canceled at least one.
She looks back on her strict upbringing, though, and she's
doing a new essay. So she was writing it and
I think it's like, uh, I don't know where it's
coming out in. But she was talking about how, you know,
she grew up with a church family and it kind
of shaped her into this good person and then she realized,
you know what that good person is and it doesn't

(20:58):
matter to the internet and who she becomes and all
this stuff. But she was really just saying that, like,
you should probably get canceled at least once in your
life to actually open up your eyes and move forward.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
So I think what it did is opened her eyes
said I thought I was a good person, but all
these people telling me that I wasn't.

Speaker 7 (21:16):
Yeah, you know, yeah, and I think.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
I think that's great advice if you can sustain it,
Like if I get canceled.

Speaker 8 (21:22):
Out on the streets, I don't have millions of dollars. Yeah,
but also I think it kind of like started. Remember
her Lakers outfit. Yeah, she would show.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Up have naked to like family public places and then
call people out for calling her out.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
Yes, so what are you looking at your booty cheeks?

Speaker 12 (21:39):
I never wore.

Speaker 7 (21:40):
It started because she did, Like I said, she had
like a church upbringing and a church family, and then
all of a sudden she just kind of like went
went loose. YouTube has their end of your.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Data, so this is like a new thing. Like they're
doing a wrapped like the way all the other apps did,
like what you watch.

Speaker 8 (21:56):
Yeah, so which, by the way, the wrapped like Spotify
things and all that stuff is going to start coming
out immediately.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
My heart will do one, Like every every app that
you use is going to do this now.

Speaker 7 (22:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (22:06):
So what they're saying is that the top song of
the year for them was Die with a Smile Lady Gaga,
Bruno Mars, I can see that, followed by a petit
Bruno Mars and Rose Rose Rose Ye Haypop Demon Hunters,
the Golden Soda, Pop Your Idol. They have all three
of those songs on YouTube that were massive. As far

(22:27):
as creators, they have The Joe Rogan Experience was the
top podcast and Mister Beast was the top creator.

Speaker 12 (22:34):
Man.

Speaker 8 (22:35):
Yeah, so that's pretty big. I agree with the majority
of this list for YouTube.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
All right, going to try to keep you updated. Was
trending right now? All right, Brian, updated was trending. Well,
there was a huge moon last night. Oh yeah, I
saw it coming in. It was that eerie. The clouds
were going over it.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Like a ring around.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
I got my friend Corey texting me. He's also in
the alien stuff.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Mike like me. He's like, dude, if you're awake, look
at the moon. They're coming.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
So the last supermoon of twenty twenty five is going
to be Thursday night. Okay, so the December full moon,
it's called the cold moon. It's gonna look larger than
usual because the lunar orbit swings closer to Earth. So
NASA says the moon's gonna be adjust two hundred and
twenty one thousand miles away, which is pretty close. Okay,
it doesn't sound very close. That's Thursday night. There's also
going to be a meteor shower that's going on this week,

(23:20):
so it's not gonna peak until December thirteenth and fourteenth,
but they say you might be able to see it
if then the sky is clear enough. One hundred and
twenty meteors will be visible per hour.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
So if you have light pollution, not gonna see it.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Yeah, So just the heads up. It ain't necessarily an
alien attack. If you see thanks flying to the scribe
or or it is. We don't know it's happened. He
watching a disclosure could be so lots of shopping this week,
they just crunch the numbers. A record two hundred and
two point nine million people hit stores and websites during
the five day stretch from Thanksgiving through Monday this week.
How many two hundred and two point nine actually million

(23:52):
people no this either online or physically went to the store.
About one hundred and twenty nine point five shopped in stores.
That's up three percent from last year. One hundred thirty
four million people shopped online. That's of nine percent.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
So Black Friday was the most popular shopping day still,
even though some of the other days were pretty big.
They spent an average of three hundred and thirty seven
dollars and eighty six cents per person, which is up
from three hundred and fifteen dollars last year. Top purchases
were clothing, accessories, toys, books, and gift cards. Okay, that's
what people want the most of See, I used to
go Black Friday because you knew you were gonna get

(24:24):
those deals. I mean it's like, wait, this shirt, this
wea it was one hundred and twenty bucks. None get
it for thirty. Yeah, but I've never heard anybody talk
about deals like that. Not really, No, I mean we
got a great deal on the online with our vacuum.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
I mean it's it's I think you have to look
for what something you really want and then see if
there's a deal, or you're just kind of throwing money
at whatever.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Sure, they said we're going to spend one trillion dollars
for the first time this year during the holidays.

Speaker 5 (24:47):
Really, but you also mentioned earlier this week, even though
they're spending more money, yeah, getting less done, less tangible stuff, right,
because everything costs more.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Yeah, that's why the experiences are. People are jumping on those. Yes,
I if you can get some money, and you can
make payments on over time because you know, the trip
or whatever it is isn't for months.

Speaker 13 (25:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Maybe I just noticed it this year, but there's a
lot of like vacation places yep, on Black Friday. Yeah,
so I'm like, wait a minute, I'm gonna start buying
my vacation on Black Friday. I've never seen that. Told
you guys.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Margaritaville's doing it for twenty twenty seven bookings for their
new their new ship.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
Wow. So if you wanted to lock in the rate
right now, Yeah, you can buy.

Speaker 8 (25:24):
Now, which was like travel Tuesday or something. If you
purchase flights, it was like the cheapest for next year.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Yeah about that one.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, you might be able to get it all week
long because they're extending everything through Cyber Week now, guys,
they're trying to get you to spend more money.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
Chick that out.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Yeah, and if you did spend too much money last week,
tonight the Powerball jackpot seven hundred and seventy five million dollars.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
That's one of the biggest there has been in the
top ten of Powerball prizes in history. So it hasn't
been one since September, so if you do win, you
can choose between taking the seven seventy five split over
thirty annual installments or you get the one time cash
pay that's three hundred and sixty two point five million.
Most people go that route, and then you have to
pay taxes, the mandatory federals twenty four percent, So you'd

(26:09):
walk away with two hundred and seventy five point five million,
and then if you depending on where you live, you
might have to pay some other taxes as well. Really
so yeah, so you'd still walk with you know, two
hundred and fifty million dollars if you didn't have yesterday.

Speaker 12 (26:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (26:21):
Right.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
If you're upset about that, then.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
There's some conspiracy because it always gets large at the
end of the year.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
Uh huh. And here's my conspiracy. California always wins it
because they broke and they need the tax money.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
Tax money.

Speaker 7 (26:36):
Everything's rigged.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
I'm just saying how every time it gets that big
California with somebody from California and they know they need
the tax dollars.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Yeah, that's how come they get it. See they're listening now,
So somebody somebody in like Ohio, right, you know, senior citizen.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Of course, course, yeah, so we'll see so seven hundred
and seventy five million dollars tonight.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
Get your tickets, all right, listen. We do this every
now and then. I think we need to do it now.
Is when we check in on you. You know, we
consider you family. We call this like a mental health
check with you know, the holidays here, just got past Thanksgiving,
Christmas around the corner. So how you doing? How you
holding up mentally and emotionally? How are you holding up?

We come back, we'll check on each other and then
we want to check on you. So how are you doing?
How are you holding up this holiday season? Four O
seven now one nine one O six seven eight seven

we're gonna get into next. We'd like to talk to you,
So call us on Johnny's house. It's still sixty two.
They get cooler out there, a sixty four sixty four

(27:34):
and a hog today of seventy two and a lot
of sunshine. I'd like to check in with you. We
consider your family. You know, sometimes people don't have someone
to check in on you. You're our radio family. So
every now and then we just call you up and say, hey,
you know what you got past Thanksgiving? We're right into
the Christmas season. So how you doing mentally, emotionally, physically,
how you're doing all right? Four O seven now one
nine one O six seven eight seven seven nine one

(27:57):
nine one o six seven. But right now I'm doing good.
When I was home for Thanksgiving, my mom had a
little health scare and when I got back here kind
of threw me off a little bit. So my girl
had all these things playing for me for my birthday,
and I said, I don't want to do anything. I
just kind of just chilled. I just chilled for like
a day and thought about reflecting and life and my

(28:18):
mom and all that good stuff. And then the next
day picked the kid up and life back to normal.
Hang around when heat, I am like, okay, thank God
for normalcy. But right now with everything that's going on
with the baby DJ program and keep my mind occupied,
and it's gonna be that way for the next twenty
six days. I got a look calendar.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Yeah, I actually been marking my office litless ray.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
How about you? How you doing good?

Speaker 8 (28:42):
I mean I would say that during this holiday season,
it's a lot better than previous holidays. Yeah, I just
feel more prepared. I don't have like a lot of
stress of my play right now, just because I started
doing things earlier. I'm not worried about getting them like
all these different because they don't want it, and I've
had that conversation with them.

Speaker 7 (29:03):
So I feel like.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
You're good, content, goody good, okay, because I remember years
ago you're like, you know what, I'm getting through it,
and now you can tell.

Speaker 7 (29:11):
You like, yeah, I'm doing good.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
How you doing.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
I'm good. I'm busy, which is I mean always like
I kind of runs runs me ragged a little bit,
and I'm always like I don't know if I'm gonna
have everything covered because I don't remember what I have
to do. But other than that, I mean, i think
that's a good problem to have. So uh, I'm cool
with it, you know. I mean, you know, I'm dealing
with the adult kid living in the house, which is
always a weird dynamic. I'm sure for him as well.

(29:36):
You know, he don't want to live there. He would
love to live on his own. Yeah, you know, it's
expensive rules. You know, I'm dealing with the balance of
that with my wife and all that stuff. Other than that,
I mean, that's just normal stuff. Man, I can't complain.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Yeah, very good, very good. All right, jose good morning.

your hood, and then you hit me with this disclosure.
It has been the worst year in my life.

Speaker 5 (30:15):
Oh man, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Yeah, I don't. I don't want to bring down the room.
But I lost my twenty four year old son to
a house fire one hundred and fifty one days ago.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Oh no, bro, listen, I understand about fires, Bro, I
get it. My goodness, man.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
I know your house burned out, so I'm glad that
everything worked out there. But uh, yeah, it's just been weird.

Speaker 5 (30:33):

Speaker 5 (35:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
When you asked me, I was like, yeah, I'm good
because yeah, wait, I thought we were playing smarter than
your hood.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
My man, it's the flu.

Speaker 9 (35:35):
I had the flu.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
I do have my my five year old grandson, who
is the spitting image of my son, and I'll be

Speaker 5 (35:55):
And it just take all the time, you knee, Jose,
And we want to do this for you, seeing if

(36:15):
I'm sure we can get those to you. Man. Just
take your grand kid out there and just just have
a good time and then just enjoy yourself.

Speaker 9 (36:20):
Man.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
And it's gonna take a while to deal with what
you're dealing with, man, but feel everything you need to feel, Okay, Jose, Yeah,
I appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
I appreciate you super long time I call in all
the time. I win you know regularly, and you guys
take my mind off of normal everyday things because you
got a lot of levity and everything so organic with
you guys, Yes, sir, just.

Speaker 9 (36:39):
Really honest and genuine people.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
So I hope I don't.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
No, no, no, not at all.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
Man.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
No, I was gonna make your answer a question. You
want to play smarter than your hood?

Speaker 5 (36:50):
I had a question, right, I wouldn't. I would it bright.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
So you know what I got you.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
Now, we're gonna hook you up with these ice, man
and go go with your grands and y'all just have
a good time, man. And I appreciate you calling in
and sharing real emotions. I mean a lot of people
can't do that, and you did. Man. Just deal what
you got to deal with, Jose, And we appreciate you, brother,
appreciate you too. All right, you hold on, we'll get
that information, get these tickets out to you. Okay. We
come back and talk about kids and do people still
do this today? We'll do that, Karani says. The kids allowances, Now,

(37:19):
how much they making a month? They say?

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Right now?

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Fifty two dollars a month is the average allowance for
kids these days? Really, fifty two dollars a month, which
really in today's economy is kind of low.

Speaker 5 (37:29):
And what age is this it?

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Sa kidah, just kids in general, they said, obviously it varies.
As you're younger, you need less money, so they can
get away with giving you less. But as you get older, obviously,
fifty two dollars a month seems like what's that?

Speaker 5 (37:42):
I think if the allowance thing is something that's kind
of handed down, like if your parents did it for you,
then you'll do it for your kids. We didn't have
an allowance. I used to ask my dad, Dad, you
know Joey at school, say he gets eight dollars a week,
and he said, for what, you know, clean his room,
cutting the grass, you know, that kind of thing. And
I said, so, he said, well, so what are you

(38:04):
asking me? I don't want to hold eight. If we
can break me off, maybe five?

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Right? What you got?

Speaker 5 (38:10):
He laughed? Yeah, son, I allow you to live here.

Speaker 12 (38:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
I allowed these lights to be on every day, you know,
tell me it's full. I allow you to eat, I
allow you to sleep. That's your allowance.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
Yep. And I'm thinking to myself, is that a joke?

Speaker 13 (38:24):
No?

Speaker 1 (38:24):
My mom, she didn't run down the list, but her
thing was. I would say allowance, like you were allowed
to live here? Yeallowed? You had the conversation too, Oh yeah,
I didn't get an allowance, did you ask?

Speaker 5 (38:35):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (38:35):
No, I just knew she didn't have money. How she
gonna give me money? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, mine, I was like,
you know a couple of dollars here that I'm just say.
You know, so what my mom used to do is
she would give us money. That was our lunch money. Yeah,
and whatever we did with that, that's but that's what
you got. So I would get like, I think, like
eight bucks because I was on free lunch. So she'd

(38:56):
give me a couple bucks to supplement that to buy
like a drink or whatever.

Speaker 5 (39:01):
And if I didn't use it for that, they'll have
some money.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
And she would drop us off at a skate rink
on Friday night, but that was like two bucks to
get in, and then we would have she'd give us
a five dollar bill. You got three dollars to do
whatever you want. You know, you get soda and getting
pop going in RC col That was pretty much it, right,
did you have them?

Speaker 8 (39:19):
So we did for a little bit. It was like
five bucks for like chores or something like that. Like
random things here and there, doing the dishes, taking the
trash out, cleaning up our room and you know, but that.

Speaker 7 (39:31):
Didn't last long.

Speaker 8 (39:32):
I just remember my parents just being like, Okay, well
we now provide for you to have sleepovers with your
friends and we buy pizza, you go to the movies,
and like that's that's going to be.

Speaker 7 (39:42):
You're settling for a lot.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
Do you remember when y'all had the financial change because
you went from you know, living in a house in
restaurants to not so you yeah, did they tell you? You
just felt it? No?

Speaker 8 (39:52):
I mean I could see it, like obviously the changes.
I remember like going to the public sparking lot and
selling the motor home with my dad because you know,
we couldn't anymore, like we were downgrade from a four
bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment or like.

Speaker 7 (40:05):
You know, so you would see the change before that.
It was it was before that.

Speaker 5 (40:10):
That's very insensitive. Do you get a twins allowance?

Speaker 3 (40:19):
No?

Speaker 8 (40:19):
So, I mean right now they get money for like
their birthdays and the tooth fairy, yeah she comes. But
other than that, no, I mean, if they do stuff
around the house like make their bed, I'll give them,
like rob robe books or whatever.

Speaker 7 (40:33):
That's all they ask for.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
No, it goes fast too.

Speaker 8 (40:37):
Yeah, they have like they both have like over one
hundred dollars and like their little wallets, but they don't
spend it. But that's just from birthday parties and tooth fairies.
Like I said, yeah, yeah, and so like that's what
they say.

Speaker 5 (40:50):
My kid is paid to play. He gets paid for grades.
I say, your job is to do the best that
you can in school, because academically is where you that's
where you're going to succeed. That's why you're gonna get
your scholarships. That's how you pretty much gonna go to college.
You know, this is how much I have in your
college fund, and the school's here looking at you got
about a semester and a half. Yeah, what I got
saved for you. So for him, it's paid to play.
He gets as he gets this amount, bes this amount,

(41:11):
anything after that, you're just doing average. So for him,
he gets paid. No, he has his choice he has
to do. I don't pay for those. But your job
is school. Now, if you do you decide right now
that I don't want to follow the academic role, then
that we have to shift and you have to get
a job. We'll start you off that way. But right
now he's paid to play, and he's really low as
a bank account like, uh, wow, Man, grades doesn't come

(41:32):
out for a while. What it's called now you can
do it out.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
That's a budget. About the budget this a little longer,
you'd be worried.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
Now man had to cancel the subscription. Wow, welcome to
the real world. But I don't call that allowance. He
has to, I mean he really has to. He looks
forward to report cards because then he but for Christmas
he wants cash. So that's gonna I don't know how
it's gonna work with.

Speaker 7 (41:58):
The great Yeah, get older, But I do.

Speaker 5 (42:01):
Want to find out if you do that, if you
give your kids allowance, how do you give them money
or you don't. I mean I didn't get an I
got it if I needed something like like Bron's mom, Hey,
you want to go to movies? Slids A couple of
dollars right on the table Friday night. Was that was
our babysitter was a skating ring. My mom could go
look for new daddy. A local family owned the skating ring,

(42:22):
the best family and everyone. Chuck was the guy who
ran it. And everyone knew that he was gonna take
care of your kid.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
And so my mom would drop me off at the babysitter,
the skating ring, she go look for new daddy and
then I usually we live close enough like a walk home,
so it was kind of like a neighborhood skate ring. Yeah,
it was over and Sandford, I don't want to go. Hey, hey,
now you know your mama wouldn't want you see it.
You wouldn't do anything in front of him that you
wouldn't do in front of your mom.

Speaker 5 (42:46):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
And the parents knew that, so they're like, it was packed.
It was packed every Friday night. That was where we
were there every Friday night because it was think about it.
She got babysitter for five dollars. Yeah, for the whole night. Yeah,
from six pm to eleven pm. She got a free
Maybe it's for finals. You're gonna baby knowing that your
kid was safe and you're walking outside that door. What
I here said?

Speaker 6 (43:04):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (43:04):
Four oh seven now one nine one o six seven
eight seven seven now one nine one on six seven
XL mobile four one o six seven live stream social media.
We wanna hit from you? Do you give your kids
an allowance, they say, the average now is fifty two
dollars a month. Do you give them allowance or how
do you give it? How do you get them to
earn money? Or how do you give them money? Four
oh seven now one nine one o six seven eight

(43:25):
seven seven nine one nine one o six seven. Want
to talk to you, but you got to call us
son Johnny's house. All right, Olivia from Orlando, good morning.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Good morning, all right.

Speaker 5 (43:34):
So you give kids an allowance, I.

Speaker 10 (43:36):
Don't calling an allowance, call the prize a prize, okay.

Speaker 5 (43:40):
And how do they earn that prize?

Speaker 10 (43:42):
So my kids, they earn it by getting good grades
in school, doing their choice at home. And then how
they treat each other?

Speaker 5 (43:49):
Ooh, and how often is the payoff?

Speaker 3 (43:53):
Every day and every week?

Speaker 10 (43:54):
So every day if they go the whole day without arguing,
fighting or anything, if they're just good all day, at
the end of the day, they get to go into
the prize basket. Now, in the prize basket, it does
have like a few dollars in there, but it also
has like Fortnite cars, rope Bucks cars.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
And dislike toys.

Speaker 10 (44:10):
Wow, it's really big on toys, and like you know,
gifts and things like that. They're more inter that than money.

Speaker 5 (44:16):
Real how old on.

Speaker 10 (44:18):
My son is nine and my daughter is sick.

Speaker 5 (44:20):
And they intentionally behaved, so at the end of the
day they can go into the prize basket.

Speaker 9 (44:25):
Not all the time, but most of the time.

Speaker 8 (44:27):
I mean, that's kind of like what they do at school,
you know, like the kids have those those like megabucks
or whatever that they get in school, and then they
go to the treasure box and get something.

Speaker 10 (44:35):
Really, I actually got that from my daughter's treasure box,
saying that she.

Speaker 13 (44:39):
Used to do at school.

Speaker 10 (44:40):
Yeah, she was so exciting and she'll tell me about it.
I was, okay, let me start implementing that.

Speaker 9 (44:45):
And to my house, look at.

Speaker 1 (44:46):
You, it's changed really good, good idea.

Speaker 5 (44:49):
But I been like my brother, look man, if it
when the end of the day, I kick your butt.
At the end of the day, I'm about to give
that prize box. So I'm gonna let you slide away.
But you know what, tomorrow, I'm gonna go ahead and
accept that. Tomorrow I ain't going to the prize box
because tomorrow I'm gonna whoop.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
You know how about that?

Speaker 5 (45:05):
But I'm gonna get my prize today right tomorrow, Hey,
don't sleep they Oh wow, that's pretty good. I'm sure
some parents listening right now, going I might have to
try that, all right, thank you, thank you for sharing
that you have a beautiful day. Okay, well, thank you, Okay,
bye bye.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
Now when they get to their job, when they get older,
at the end of the day, they're gonna be like, hey,
that prize don't work like that.

Speaker 5 (45:29):
Call us from Zephyr Hill, Alexis, good.

Speaker 13 (45:31):
Morning, Hey, good morning, guys.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
I'm just curious. Do y'all get free water up there? No,
at least a discount.

Speaker 14 (45:41):
No, unless you work at the least if you work there.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
Yeah, I want to imagine whatever comes out of your speaking.
It's pretty nice that Zephyr Hills water. I'm just saying
if you're you're rather than you should be able to
drive up saying I need my cage for the.

Speaker 5 (45:55):
Month, right.

Speaker 14 (45:56):
You know, Well, my my husband's my father in law.
He's passed away now, but he used to work there
and he would come home with cases of class bottles.

Speaker 5 (46:06):
Cool, okay, all right, I get back to topic. Hi,
allown says, what do you.

Speaker 14 (46:13):
Do so my kids? I have four boys and their
ages are fifteen, thirteen, ten, and eight. My two older
ones decided to go to public school. The last two years,
I've homeschooled them all. And so because they're in public school,
that's like a full time job. They get up early

(46:33):
to go to school, they're both in sports. They're not
home till like five thirty pm Monday day Friday. So
I kind of just do their chores for them. I
know that sounds so stupid.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
We've discussed it.

Speaker 14 (46:45):
And as far as making money for the two older ones,
I am a spark the driver, which is like a
delivery for Walmart and depot, and so I bring them
along with me and then whatever we make, I give
them money so they can have it. Okay, it's still
working because they don't want them to have a job

(47:05):
to take away from their school.

Speaker 5 (47:07):
Yeah, please ride with you.

Speaker 14 (47:09):
So right, and so with as far as allowance goes,
I don't. I never gotten allowance.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
As far as doing chores goes.

Speaker 14 (47:17):
Because it's like I'm not getting paid to do the laundry.

Speaker 5 (47:20):
Oh no, but if you don't my choice for it,
if you don't choice for me, then that is my allowance,
right the right. What they're saying.

Speaker 7 (47:27):
Somebody said, we don't give cash.

Speaker 8 (47:29):
He just earns items that he wants by doing things
around the house and getting good grades.

Speaker 7 (47:34):
No allowance. Just when they need money.

Speaker 8 (47:36):
They actually have to work for it. It's if they
need something or they want to do something, they have
to earn it. Okay, somebody said, I just gave my
kid money. Uh, he was a good kid with good grades,
but didn't say how much.

Speaker 1 (47:47):
And be Excel Mobile powered by Attorney Dan Newlan Interact
need to check. It's a no brainer. Just call it
Attorney Dan Newlan. Most people say they have to earn it,
but someone said they use an allowance app. It actually
attaches to a card and each week you can add
more to the chore and earnings. If they go and
don't do it, you can uncheck that box and it
won't pay them for that chore. Really, it subtracts money
if they need to subtract money, and then a portion

(48:08):
of it goes into a savings account automatically.

Speaker 5 (48:10):
Is this an app?

Speaker 1 (48:11):
Yeah, And the rest of it's theirs and you can
adjust that as well. So it's kind of teaching them
budgeting and earning and all of that.

Speaker 5 (48:17):
What you get the name of it just said an allowance.

Speaker 7 (48:19):
Oh man, good idea.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
His back and let us know that. All right, Ray celeb.

Speaker 7 (48:23):
News, have you heard of the ten Mail?

Speaker 1 (48:26):
The Johnny's House Entertainment News with.

Speaker 8 (48:29):
Three Entertainment News is brought to you by Phara Ones
Credit Union. So, Kim Kardashian, you know how these celebrities
have master classes. Yeah, well, she is going to have
a masterclass in business, which I mean she is a
smart business woman.

Speaker 5 (48:43):
Yeah so, but.

Speaker 8 (48:45):
She's going to feature her ten Commandments of business.

Speaker 7 (48:50):
You see what she did there?

Speaker 1 (48:51):
Yeah, kind of like Skims. Yeah name in there. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (48:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (48:55):
So, whether you hate or love her, she's very smart
when it comes to business business. And it's a launching
tomorrow her masterclass. But the sneak Peek online includes what
she calls her commandments, and it's a brand for business.
So number one, you are the product, yep. Number two,
they prove it. You perfect it.

Speaker 7 (49:15):
Okay, So it's kind of like Skims. It works.

Speaker 8 (49:18):
She perfected it and sold it. Define yourself before others
do not.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
Too late for that? Now is gonna you have to
pay for that? Is she give it to you for free?

Speaker 8 (49:27):
I'm guessing you're gonna have to pay for it because
it is a masterclass.

Speaker 7 (49:30):
I don't know exactly. You know, it is online. I
don't know what it's going to cost you.

Speaker 8 (49:36):
So other things don't follow the feed. Be the feed
turn failure into strategy. Your customer is your co founder. Okay,
know you're worth then add text. So I mean, like
I said, she is a very smart business person. And
if you look at these like you know, little sneak
peaks of her brand of business, it is to share it.

Speaker 5 (49:58):
And again, a lot of these things work for her
may not necessarily work for you, but she's giving you
a blueprint of Okay, this is what worked for me,
to apply it to your situation. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (50:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (50:07):
The Kansas City Chiefs obviously Travis Kelcey is Taylor Swift's fiance,
and what they're saying is that he actually requested at
the Arrowhead Stadium that they do not play songs by
his fiance Taylor Swift, so early in the relationship. The
team presidents actually revealed during his appearance a lot of

(50:29):
things that Travis kelce requested because he is dating or
engaged now to Taylor.

Speaker 5 (50:34):
Swift, will make her very uncomfortable.

Speaker 8 (50:36):
Yeah, So Travis to his credit is all about the
team and everything that the president said. But he also
says that, you know, he had a lot of rules
that he put in place, like do not show Taylor
Swift in the stadium while she's in the stadium.

Speaker 5 (50:52):
So like Juna, how so he's asking the team, but
not necessarily because the media if they found her.

Speaker 8 (50:56):
Yeah, so the media is doing what the media does.
But inside Arrowhead, if you're the camera person that's controlling
inside Arrowhead, you know how.

Speaker 7 (51:04):
They have like the big screen.

Speaker 8 (51:06):
He requested that the Arrowhead camera person do not show
Taylor Swift, do not place it songs by Taylor Swift.
And so he had a lot of these things because
obviously it's have it heavily publicized that he's dating her
or engaged to her. But he also the president said
that like he was very strict on these rules on

(51:26):
not basically feeding off the facts that he's in love
with her.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
I mean, how do you go to management and I
guess you. I mean he doesn't need to just one
of the star players. Yeah, so you have an open door,
pol I guess you. Hey, I would appreciate yeah, you know, hey,
I appreciate it if they didn't yeah.

Speaker 8 (51:42):
So also, like the Arrowhead Stadium Instagram, they weren't allowed
to post pictures of them on her their Instagram to
benefit off of it. So basically you could not benefit
off of the relationship because he's engaged to her, which
I'm like.

Speaker 7 (51:55):
That's pretty smart.

Speaker 5 (51:57):
Okay, yeah, we won't do it.

Speaker 8 (51:58):
And this was the president that was on up in
atoms yesterday, so that was the appearance he was talking
about it.

Speaker 5 (52:04):
Some management, Let me get out of here, right, he
will be here in a couple of years old, please
and get a right we do we won't we management,
You're not but good They listened to them, all right,
weird stories that are true. Let's go on in that song.
So if you're at home on New Year's Eve, you
can enjoy this eight or nine. Johnny's House seventy two
was a high sixty four right now and a lot
of sunshine. B what's going on now? You know Ray
and I have had our run ins with raccoons. They

(52:25):
can't be trusted.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
Well, if Virginia ABC liquor store crew found a surprise
in the store bathroom, they had to call the police.
They had to call animal protection and an animal shelter
because at the ABC store they found a raccoon that
had ransacked the store and drank up out of the
all the alcohol.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
It was wasted. It was passed.

Speaker 1 (52:46):
Out drunk raccoon, they said, a very intoxicated raccoons. They
took it to the animal shelter to recover. It rested
for several hours, showed no signs of injury, and it
was released back into the wild.

Speaker 5 (52:57):
I bet that raccoon was if I was so by y'all.
Y'all rabies.

Speaker 1 (53:01):
Seriously, they got thumbs. They can do whatever they want.

Speaker 5 (53:04):
I'm telling you, get some rabs up in him.

Speaker 8 (53:06):
I'm surprised that there weren't more to follow him. Usually
there's another.

Speaker 1 (53:11):
Before he got back to tell the others that that
was there. He got passed out drunk. It probably doesn't
take much for a raccoon to get drunk, because they're
not that big. Even was destroyed. Oh yeah, everything just
knocking stuff and over and drinking. It's so funny. And
my wife sent me a link to the video or
last night to the picture. Last night. She goes, look
because she knows I hate raccoons, because he and raccoons

(53:33):
got problems. So this one drink up all alcohol. Now,
this is another scam to be looking out for. This
actually happened at a children's hospital, of all places, people pretending
to be valets during the holiday season and then stealing
your car. No, yes, what Yeah, So this guy justin
he swiped a car, parked it, stayed in the vehicle,

(53:54):
and then took off because he had everybody thinking he
was a valet. So the police came. Obviously they found
out that he wasn't a valet. He then ran in
the car, it crashed, burst into flames. The police crewer
also caught fire. Did he try to go back and
do it again or he just didn't want one and done?
The person came and was like, worth my car and
then they found out that okay, Then they found him

(54:15):
and then they tried to run and he crashed and
he caught on fire. But they're saying, be careful make
sure who you're dropping your car because there's a lot
of stores. Yes time of the year, the outlets like
they have valet or they have a guy standing there
pretending to be valet.

Speaker 7 (54:28):
But I mean at a children's hospital.

Speaker 1 (54:30):
Well he's going to hell.

Speaker 7 (54:31):
But I'm just saying, oh my god, it's like.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
When you park, you call one of those off lots
near the Citrus Bowl of downtown. Yes, yeah, you're like.

Speaker 5 (54:39):
Man, you show you all who you are here? Are
you shure up?

Speaker 1 (54:42):
But in this case you're giving him the key? Yeah,
So just make sure the valet is actually the valet
this holiday season because that'd be terrible. And this is funny.
So you know there's no tax on tips. Now, that's
what they were working on. The President was real big
on that. So now IRS agents have to create a
whole new wing to watch only fans online content creator

(55:03):
videos and decide if what they're doing is counting as
a porno account under this new tax law or should
they be taxed because there's no tax on tips.

Speaker 5 (55:14):
What they're doing in the let's stay raised.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
An OnlyFans model and I want to see some little
and I'm gonna give her a tip for that.

Speaker 5 (55:21):
Okay, should she be taxed on that? It's a tip?

Speaker 7 (55:24):
So who determines that there's a new tax law?

Speaker 1 (55:27):
But they had to create I guess according to this,
they had to create a wing inside the I R
S where some of the IRIS agents now have to
sit back and watch only fans accounts to decide if
there's going to be no tax on tips applied to it.

Speaker 5 (55:41):
They're an agent going, look, I don't want to do it,
but if y'all want me to do it, I want
I want to do it.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
Because there's a slippery slope because in the Act there
is a provision that says no pornographic activity, they don't
qualify for the no tax on tips. So where does
the line draw between artistic and pornography? So that's what
they have to kind of watch to determine. So now
the IRIS agents, well, I mean, I mean, it depends

(56:07):
on how much you're getting paid. But would that stop
some people from going that extra stealth? It might because
I don't know, you know, yeah, you know, I don't
want to tip the line to pornography. I'm being artistic, Okay,
So where's my head.

Speaker 5 (56:19):
I don't have to pay it. I don't have to
pay any tax on it.

Speaker 12 (56:21):
Right.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
So now some iris IRS agents are like baby for
reals for work?

Speaker 8 (56:25):
Baby, But why did you watch Chastity's seventeen times?

Speaker 1 (56:31):
I just I had to make sure to make sure.
I had to make sure, had to make sure it
wasn't one hundred percent sure but yeah, well she's doing
in pornography.

Speaker 8 (56:38):
Sir.

Speaker 1 (56:39):
I got a friend who works for the man. Are
you on the Only Fans team? Wow?

Speaker 5 (56:46):
I listen Secret Service in town and they're trying to
locate scart card skimmers and they're going to a thousand
locations and already they found seven. So I want to
find out, has someone stolen your credit card number? Have
you been compromised? And where? And when did you think
it happened? Four oh seven now to nine one o
six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one o six.
We're gonna talk about that next if you want to
be first in calls. Now in Johnny's house, look a

(57:07):
little overcast. It's supposed to be mostly sunny today. The
Secret Service are in Central Florida. And the reason that
they're here is, I guess we've got a real big
problem with our card skimmers.

Speaker 11 (57:19):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (57:19):
They're going to one thousand stores and find out and
just take the skimmers and see if they are working.
And in one day, yesterday afternoon, they found seven seven skimmers.
If you don't know what this is, it's a fake
device that they put over like whenever you use your
card to get gas or something like that it's a
fake device that they put over that and you're giving
them your information also the place that you're paying, but

(57:41):
they get your information from that. And I was listening
to them talk this morning. Uh Secret Service said, listen,
they're very good at it. You know, it's upgraded. Before
they told you could shake it a little bit and
that didn't work anymore. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (57:52):
I always try to see if I can figure it out, like,
you know, make sure it's legit, but you can't really Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (57:57):
All they said. The only thing you can do is
change your pen number regularly, lock your card when you're
not using it. See if you can see a light
behind the cart machine the buttons. Officials say using the
tap to pay options such as Apple is safer option.
Check your bank account constantly, and if something feels a weird,
walk off. But they're in town and they're finding they're
finding these these skimmers all over the place. A gentleman

(58:20):
just called, but he just hung up and said that
he found one and he took it inside to the
He was at a gas station and then he took
it inside to tell them, hey, we found this at
your pump. I had mind stolen from a skimmer. It
was a little small town. I was driving to North
Carolina and I need to get gas, and I just
pulled off off the side of the road. And you
could tell it was a store that it was used

(58:41):
to people doing that because the store had a Burger
King attached to it, and it was a gas station,
and it was a store he can buy t shirts.
And I think it was like in Georgia somewhere. And
I didn't get out of it. I mean I didn't
even go in the store. I just put the card in,
took the card off, and by the time I hit Charlotte,
my phone was going off. Did you I'm like, are
you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (59:00):
That fast? That fast?

Speaker 5 (59:02):
You took my card? And I'm telling you, And once
they get your numbers, they're moving them quickly.

Speaker 7 (59:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (59:07):
Oh yeah, I know. Somebody got their card skimmed. They
went into the gym. By the time they came out
of the gym, there was a couple thousand dollars already
taken off their card. That's wild, so be careful with that.
The Secret Service is in town and they're trying to
find those skimmers. And if you can find one and
you locate it, take it inside the store, but they
are out there and they said that they are very
very good, and they're not so easy. And someone looks
like the actual devices that you're going to be using.

Speaker 7 (59:28):
Look exactly like right on top.

Speaker 5 (59:31):
Before it was shaky. Now they just just glue it
on them. And they showed one guy. It was at
a it was at a grocery store, and he just
walked up to it like he was tapping in his
pen number. He had it in his in his sweatshirt,
and the lady at the register was right there. She's
tapped and he just popped it in real quick, just
like that. Skimmers in town, secret service in town. Be
careful this holiday season. They're trying to separate you from

(59:53):
your money, all right. True stories that happened to me
on the way. And somebody got some tickets Universal Orlando Resort.
We'll explain that later. I'm Johnny's house.

Speaker 1 (59:59):
Erry. It's gonna make two point three million dollars this
year just on that song alone, and obviously something else
would play and I would say, how you blend your
tickets to go to Sea World for their Christmas celebration
tomorrow morning with last day seven am. I'm not going yeah, wow,
I gotta be you know, very Christmasy and whatnot.

Speaker 7 (01:00:19):
No, I hear all the time in the stores and
the nail song.

Speaker 5 (01:00:22):
Yeah, very good, very goodness.

Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
Guy.

Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
All right, listen, it is time for true stories. It
happened to me.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
We'll do it in two rounds. This is the first one,
Emiras from one to park.

Speaker 5 (01:01:39):
Good morning, Good morning Johnny, Hey, how you doing doing good?

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
Doing good?

Speaker 6 (01:01:45):
Good morning, Happy Wednesday, Happy Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (01:01:47):
True story.

Speaker 6 (01:01:48):
What happened girl, True story happened to me. We went
to the Orlando size Museum Center and there was a
national like Glippy Day concert type of thing, like a
little show that it was there, and every kid known
to man was dressed in this blippy costume. If you know,
it's this it's this dude.

Speaker 13 (01:02:05):
That's entertained the kids. He was real much simular.

Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
A few years back.

Speaker 5 (01:02:09):
Okay, so my.

Speaker 6 (01:02:10):
Child at this time, he's three, and I even told
my husband it was my idea. I'm like, you know,
how cool would it be if we get to meet,
you know, the person that was Blippy, Which it wasn't him,
it was an impersonator.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
But that's okay.

Speaker 6 (01:02:21):
How cool would it be that, you know, we dress
them up as Blippy, we take cool photos. Jokes on me,
Every kid didn't think that far. Every kid known to
man was dressed as Blippy.

Speaker 13 (01:02:30):
Okay, right, So we.

Speaker 6 (01:02:33):
Are in this huge type of playground setting inside the
Science Museum Center and I'm like, hey, we gotta go,
we gotta go, and again every kid.

Speaker 3 (01:02:42):
Is dressed like this.

Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
So we go.

Speaker 6 (01:02:43):
We pack him up in the stroller, we pack up everything.
We go and like we put him in the car
and I'm looking back, I'm like, hey, you know, I'm
telling my husband making sure that he's strapped good because
at this point he's still in type like a Curtsey.
You guys, why is it when I went to get
to the car to take a look, that's not my chial.

Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
You picked up somebody else's kid.

Speaker 6 (01:03:05):
We picked up somebody else's kids.

Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
And got all the way to the car.

Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (01:03:12):
We got into the car, guys, into the stroller. We
were about to drive on, but.

Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
Go ahead, got questions.

Speaker 7 (01:03:21):
They didn't say anything, but like the kids didn't they
say anything.

Speaker 6 (01:03:27):
Was just so nonchalant.

Speaker 12 (01:03:29):
This chilling.

Speaker 6 (01:03:32):
And guess what eat eating my son's snacks that were
on the cupholders, some animal.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Crackers in this car. I'm riding in style.

Speaker 5 (01:03:41):
So what happened? What happened?

Speaker 6 (01:03:43):
So we run, we run inside, and we go back
to the playground area. My son is actually still entertaining
himself on some type of little thing that they had
going on, like the little ball things on the floor,
and I'm having this child in my hand and I'm
like looking for a concerned parent. I even to the
to the front office. I'm like, hey, like, I know,
we left the center, but we're coming back and look

(01:04:05):
we took the wrong kid. And they're like, you took
the wrong kid. Everyone's judging.

Speaker 7 (01:04:09):
Yes, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:04:09):
I'm like, well, wait a minute, where is a parent
of this child?

Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
Because they don't even goodness, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:04:15):
So to make this to wrap up the story, we
did get my son, and then we actually took about
twenty minutes to find the other parents of art the
child that we had. They were not even in that
playground area. They were in some other event in the
museum center.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
We almost got rid of.

Speaker 6 (01:04:33):
Oh my, it's so horrible, and yeah, but we kind
of came back, thank you. What that never happens again,
so try to verify that was my story.

Speaker 5 (01:04:41):
Oh my goodness. If they would have responded, like, you know,
you took the wrong kid, I'm like, you got the
microphone thing here, give me that.

Speaker 12 (01:04:49):
Everybody, check your kid. I picked up somebody else's kid
and I got my kid, but I got your kid.
Check your kid, you know, Johnny, the best part.

Speaker 6 (01:05:00):
I mean, it's not the best part. Again, this thing
could have been worse. You know, we're thankful. But when
we looked around, you could see parents just like kind
of looking around at the kids, so they don't know
which one is there. Like, if you really pay attention to.

Speaker 4 (01:05:12):
That, now, yeahs.

Speaker 5 (01:05:15):
Don't make yourself feel good. You'd only want to take
somebody else kid out of here. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
But all of them didn't know, john See, all of
them didn't know.

Speaker 7 (01:05:24):
She she has said that they were all just the
same seventeen times in this time.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
It's a bad time. We just happened to leave. If
they would have left before us, they would have took
the wrong kid. That's funny.

Speaker 5 (01:05:37):
That's a very good story. Mirors. You hold on. Okay, wow,
that's true story. It happened to me. That's what I'm
talking about four oh seven now and nine one o
six seven eight seven seven now one nine one o
six seven true story. It happened to me. You got
a story like this parent tickets Universal Orlando Resort, but
you got your story. It happened to me. One of
those most fascinating stories that have happened to you. We
want to hear about it and the best one pair

(01:05:58):
of tickets Universal or Land No Resort. Let's head over
to the Land and talk to Karen Hey.

Speaker 9 (01:06:02):
Karen Hey, Johnny, good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 5 (01:06:05):
A true story happened to me. What happened, Karen?

Speaker 9 (01:06:08):
Okay, So when I was in high school, juniors and
seniors are allowed to leave for lunch and come back, obviously,
and so my boyfriend was a senior at the.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
Time and I was a junior, and.

Speaker 9 (01:06:20):
So we said, okay, let's go get some food. And
we went up to the fast food restaurant he worked
at after school, went through the drive through, and I
ordered a burger and he ordered some chicken nuggets.

Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
And so we're going on the.

Speaker 9 (01:06:33):
Path back to school and he goes, can you check
the bag, because you know, they never remember to put
everything in, And so I look in the bag and
I said, oh, babe, your nuggets aren't all here. There's
only like half of them. And he flips out. He's like,
we've got to go back.

Speaker 11 (01:06:50):
We've got to go.

Speaker 9 (01:06:51):
Back, and I'm like, honey, we can't go back. I
have math after this, and I'm not good at math.
I need to go to class. And so he starts
driving like a aniac and he's like, I drive like
this when I'm pissed off, so.

Speaker 11 (01:07:03):
Good job, Karen. I'm like, dude, calm down.

Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
It's just some chicken nuggets.

Speaker 9 (01:07:09):
And he's like followed me all the way to class,
berating me about how I wouldn't let him do anything
and blah blah blah. And so, long story short, I
got broken up with over some chicken nuggets.

Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
Y'all broke up? I mean, yes, that's the best thing
to happen to you. Let me.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
Yeah, that was that was That was a blessing in disguise,
and for him too, because you're a little selfish. Your
food was there, so you were fine going back to math.
You were tho, not good at math because you can't count.
There's enough chicken nuggets there. We got to go back.

Speaker 14 (01:07:39):
Nope.

Speaker 9 (01:07:42):
Something sad part is my dad was a math teacher too.

Speaker 5 (01:07:44):
Oh how long did y'all dated?

Speaker 9 (01:07:47):
We dated for a little over a year, almost a.

Speaker 5 (01:07:51):
Year, and around me like, y'all you didn't know, but
y'all had some problems.

Speaker 9 (01:07:54):
Oh No, After I look back at it, I'm like, yeah, no.

Speaker 5 (01:07:57):
No, yeah, never, no, No, that was bad. All right,
you hold on a second, Let's go to Davenport, Sue.

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
So, good morning, good morning, Johnny Town. What's up this morning?

Speaker 5 (01:08:09):
Good good, good True story, Sue, what's going on?

Speaker 11 (01:08:14):
True story? Fridays and thirteenth Back in the early eighties,
in January, my ended up being my youngest brother was born.
That was my mom's ninth and last kid on a Friday,
the thirteenth. He had some problems when he was born.
There were some concerns, and then a lot of other

(01:08:35):
things happened that day, including my two year older brother
cutting his lip and having to get stitches. And then
as my dad is.

Speaker 5 (01:08:42):
Hey, Sue, did you just want to talk to us
because you ain't on topic, No, trying to put it
all together.

Speaker 11 (01:08:49):
It's Friday, Friday the thirteenth, se all the things that happened,
and then the best thing that happened on that's Friday
the thirteenth. My dad is taking all up state kids
in the station wagon, drop us off at a friend
town so we can go visit my mom at the hospital.
Car catches on fire, total loss, and my two year
old brother didn't know how to get out of the car,
so I saved him, got him out of the car.

(01:09:11):
But all on Fridays at thirteen, my.

Speaker 5 (01:09:13):
Brother, oh you hold on, gotcha.

Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
You would have won if your brother's name ended up
being Jason and then went to a camp with the
hockey mask and started hacking people up. Now that would
have been a winning store. We're going wrong, be rhymes,
going hung up, all right, So we have we have
Ameres the drunk.

Speaker 5 (01:09:33):
We know what I was her chicken nugget lady.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
But after all these years, she's telling that story like
it was yesterday.

Speaker 7 (01:09:41):
Yeah, back in the eighties, on Friday the thirteenth, that one.

Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
Come on, no nugget thing happened on Friday the thirteen.
Holy crap, Now we got a winner.

Speaker 5 (01:09:51):
Americ's congratulations you're the winner. That was an amazing store.
Yeah wow, wow, Parket, make sure.

Speaker 6 (01:09:57):
To take the right kid home.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
Yeah, parent takes the Universal Orlando Resort.

Speaker 5 (01:10:02):
You're going we're gonna be broadcasting live there next Friday,
and it's going on now through January the fourth. You
hold on, We'll get some information from you.

Speaker 3 (01:10:09):
Okay, thank you?

Speaker 5 (01:10:10):
Oh no, thank you for telling that story. Uh ray,
what you got coming up here?

Speaker 7 (01:10:14):
What did some of the jurors.

Speaker 8 (01:10:15):
Mail the Johnny's House Entertainment News with's Rae? All right,
So I've been telling you about that Netflix documentary that
fifty cent actually came out with. That is Sean Comb's
The Reckoning and it's got interviews with actually two of
the jurors. Oh really, that came down on did He?
And so I know, Brian, you watched a little bit

(01:10:36):
of it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
I watched the first episode yesterday and it's really well done.
I mean, they go way back. They talked to a
kid that's been friends with did He. He lived in the
apartment below him. Okay, growing up, So they were like
friends since like four or five years old. Oh wow,
So they talked to some they talked to people that
came up through the industry with them. They talked to
a lot of people.

Speaker 8 (01:10:53):
Yeah, so, I guess during one of the episodes though,
they were talking to the jurors and they were talking
about when they were in the liberation room, they come
to an agreement and they they were saying that he's
guilty for these two counts, and the guy exactly the juror,
was like, oh like and he started like cursing, and
his name is Juror one sixty. He said that when

(01:11:16):
he looks back at it, it was just like crazy
to be a part of that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
Yeah, you know, like you are because.

Speaker 8 (01:11:22):
See deciding what Diddy is coming down with. And he
said it was like, you know, it's just very very interesting.
And the deeper you get into the docu series, I
guess because I haven't seen it, but I guess the
fourth episode, it talks to the interview or to the
jurors and they interview them about Ditty and Cassie's relationship
and they.

Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
Teased it in this first episode. They talked to one
of the jurors and had her kind of tease what
they were going to talk about. Yeah, yeah, so yeah,
I mean it was really well done. They did have
footage of him on the phone with his attorney yes
days before he got arrested, saying arguing about the way
to handle this because the he's I'm getting beat up
in the media, and that's what he's upset about because

(01:12:03):
people are like, how did you get this footage? Yeah,
because it was footage that was shot by somebody with
Didty's approval.

Speaker 6 (01:12:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:12:08):
So what Diddy's people are saying, though, because they're criticizing
it obviously that it's a shameful hit piece that fifty
Cent and you know those people came up with. But
they're saying that Netflix is plainly desperate to sensationalize every
minute of Sean ditty Combe's or mister Combes's life without
regarding the truth, in order to capitalize on a never
ending media frezy is what they're saying.

Speaker 5 (01:12:29):
Toddy's people see this, they're ragging fifty Cent saying the
reason he did that is because the mystery Lady Number
two is his baby mama.

Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
Oh yeah, that's what I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:12:39):
But they did that to protect her.

Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
But you do the background, Like some of the stuff
you'll see in this, I don't want to spoil it.
For anybody who has seen it is that Diddy has
an infatuation, always has since youth of taking someone's girl.
Oh really, this goes way back to see that before
he was family and so what would you what was
that kind of headache?

Speaker 5 (01:13:00):
You'll see it if you watch the documentary.

Speaker 8 (01:13:01):
So, but I guess his people are pisso because like
you said, that interview with his are they a phone call?
None of these like have They haven't given the rights
to them to use that material. It was transferred to
Netflix on a third party.

Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
Basically, well Netflix came out because so there's a I
didn't know this. There is a few that goes back
a while back with the CEO of Netflix and Diddy.
Oh and so they're accusing Netflix of being making it personal, okay,
and they're saying, no, it's not personal. And they said,
we promise you we got the rights. So someone along
the line, in my head, someone along the line that

(01:13:34):
shot the footage, yeah, did He didn't secure that and
when he went to jail, they swooped in and said, hey,
we'll give you ten million dollars for it. And they
said okay, because he yeah, the photographer still owns the
rights to it if you didn't sign off.

Speaker 5 (01:13:47):
Can you can you imagine, like when we had our
Johnny's House live, we were in this this area would
just usten our friends. Yeah, okay, and can you imagine
if something something in that room. We ain't do anything
in there wrong, but can you imagine if something leaked
from that You're.

Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
Like, oh, yeah, who did that?

Speaker 8 (01:14:03):
Like if you know we talk about like my divorce,
you know what I'm saying, and then Matt leaked, you.

Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
Start looking around and say who. Let's say, let's say
we had to deal with a production company to do it,
and then we never follow followed through with the deal,
executed the deal. They still have all this footage, they
sell it, they owned the rights to it, they shot it,
and so did. He went to jail and I remember
we like, who'll be out by by dinner? Yeah, he didn't.
Never got out. He probably never finalized founding the deal

(01:14:31):
because the deal was according to his people, we were
going to use the footage to make our own movie
of how this went down. So that there's no way Netflix,
who makes gazillions of dollars headed lawyers, all their lawyers
took to cover their butt hole, not possible.

Speaker 7 (01:14:46):
So I'm definitely gonna go home and watch these episodes.
I need to.

Speaker 5 (01:14:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:14:49):
But also another side note, I don't know if you
saw Dave Collier. This is so sad. He's gone through
another health battle. He beat stage three non Hodgkins lymphoma
seven months ago and in October doctors found tongue cancer
during a routine scan. So yesterday he was talking about
how it turned out that he has tongue cancer and

(01:15:12):
he said to the doctors, well, did this happen because
of lymphoma? And they said totally unrelated? So oh really, Yeah,
it's very unfortunate that he's battling all this, but he said,
and he never wanted to be the poster boy for cancer,
but he's happy to do it. And so he's just
spreading the message about getting a mammogram, prostate exams, colon oscoby,
getting all of your checkups done to save your life.

Speaker 5 (01:15:32):
Say, if you only listen to anything, listen to me.
I'm dealing with you right now.

Speaker 7 (01:15:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:15:35):
Wow, all right, we come back up Daniel again. Almost
trending on your town today, Brian, what else's trend in?

Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
Man, Well, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be lit tonight.
Okay got a special YEP. Ceremony is going to include
big stars. A seventy five foot's all Norway spruce will
be filled with a fifty thousand led lights. Reba McIntyre
is going to host it. Gwen Stefani, who is also
part of our iHeartRadio Holiday special, which is pretty cool.
Mark Anthony, Michael bo play the rock Ats. All of

(01:16:01):
them will be there performings during the ceremony that runs
from seven until ten pm. Okay, so you can watch
it on NBC.

Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
Wow. If you've ever been to New York and Christmas
in Christmas time, it's a beautiful thing, man, it's a
beautiful thing. And I saw these fake persones are now
back on the streets, okay, good. And I saw that
that they thought ice was coming and they have them
under this blanket and they could pick them up in
one big.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
School is going to New Orleans allottle time up in
New York. Look, it ain't New York City. You can't
go buy some fakes now, I know, but back back
for a while. Then you had to go straight to
China Town. I know how they got them laid back
on the street and somebody says something a man and
I was like, Wow, how did he get eighty purses
in a blanket over his shoulder and out? Innovation? Man,

(01:16:45):
you got to adapt. I think that's part of the
charming too, is going to the street vendors, but.

Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
Tell people it's fake, right, don't run back here thinking
you got a Louis Bad and the gold is starting
to fade on it and the strings are hanging off.

Speaker 1 (01:16:59):
To me, that's part of the awesomeness. We've got a
really cool supreme bag for my son and I'm like
and at the time he's like, it's frank. I'm like,
but now he's like, yeah, story and get it. We
got passed off by like six different people, like we
have a cool story behind this fake bag. It's pretty awesome.
So anyway, tonight eight pm Eastern on NBC is when
it kicks off. If you fly a lot out of
Orlando International Airport, a lot of times you want to

(01:17:19):
stop and get some snacks or whatever. You go to
the Hudson News. Well, the Hudson Group plans to close
all their travel stores in the Orlando International Airport. Why
must be They're doing a major overhaul, so they're adding
a ton of new stuff there, retail options, dining options,
and one of the things they're doing is closing down
all of their Hudson News locations.

Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
What do I go get my I always go to
get an Orlando T shirt or sweatshirt and bring it
home to my mom.

Speaker 7 (01:17:43):
Yeah, oh my gosh, it's so expensive.

Speaker 5 (01:17:46):
They have like these are like Orlando. You get three
on twelve dollars, gotcha, No Mickey on it, No, nothing,
just Orlando.

Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
Well, they're going to lay off forty four employees. Wow,
when Hudson News closes, they're going to close in Terminal
A and B. They shut down in January or early
February of next year.

Speaker 5 (01:18:01):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
So yeah, they do sell the books, the snacks, the magazines,
travel essentials if I forget like et cetera or something.
But they have they have little like vending machines and
kiosks for all of that now too.

Speaker 5 (01:18:12):
So yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Part of the overall fact they want Terminal A ANDB
to be like Terminal C because everybody wants to use
Terminal C because it's awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:18:20):
Yeah. So you can go there and not even fly anywhere, No.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
Just hang out in the Orlando Magic back in action
again tonight, taking on the San Antonio Spurs at the
Kia Center. The magic right now, man, pretty good. Yeah,
we're on a nice little run. We're thirteen and eight,
we're second in the Southeastern Division, and we're one game
behind the Heat, who also played tonight.

Speaker 5 (01:18:41):
Okay, so we play them on Friday.

Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
If the Heat were to fall tonight and we win,
now we're tied, and we knock them out on Friday,
we take first place and Paul's not even back. Yeah,
so it's pretty nice. So yeah, we take on the
Spurs tonight. Now, they have a pretty good, pretty good player,
and they're they're pretty good too. They're fourteen and six,
but they're five and four away. We're eight and three
at home. So okay, we have advantage here. So that
goes down tonight, seven pm at the Kia Centers. All right,
we come back. Is Wednesday, y'all. It is time for

(01:19:05):
adult Commisary. Wednesday morning. About this time, we get together
as grown folks. The kids are in school. You know,
we're just sitting around like we were in some little
area sipping coffee and we're just openly talking. You know,
take a deep breath and say, ah, now we are
talking about the sensitive topics.

Speaker 5 (01:19:23):
But do remember we're on the radio. Sometimes y'all get
so comfortable talking to us, you start swearing and stuff.
This is the radio and our bosses are listening. But
this is a dope conversation. We talk in code. And
the top of to day came from a mister Brian. Brian,
Brian or what is the topic?

Speaker 12 (01:19:38):
Sir?

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
Well, I happened to see this and it struck me
as kind of interesting. They did a survey and they said,
and I think this part's pretty obvious. The younger folks
they go to the movies quite frequently. They say, they
go about eighty times per year. What is the average
That averages to once every four to five days, once
every ford, so not necessarily twice a week. Yeah, it

(01:20:01):
would be twice a week. Yeah, twice a week, once
every four to five days. Many would overlap a little
bit maybe, and then the older you get that kind
of decreases, and so on the far end. They had
the sixties people in their sixties, they they had dropped
about twenty times per year. That's less than twice a month.

Speaker 5 (01:20:15):
That's crap.

Speaker 1 (01:20:18):
That sucks, And obviously it's gonna change week to week,
So if you could average it, because that's what they did.
They average it because some weeks you're just busy or
you're out attacking or whatever it might be. But overall
for the year, what would you say, and then you
could figure it out how many per week.

Speaker 5 (01:20:32):
By that right math? Here?

Speaker 7 (01:20:36):
Yeah, well, my girlfriend keeps a log.

Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
Well, that's easy for you, So.

Speaker 7 (01:20:40):
I know the actual average.

Speaker 8 (01:20:43):
Okay, from a December of twenty twenty four to the
current date of December third, twenty twenty five, eighty eight
days we've gone to the movies, and some of those
were multiple times. I would say we're averaging like ninety
five times this year.

Speaker 5 (01:21:04):
I'm I'm did my mouth and I'm about seventy two
times a year, about seventy two Yeah, twice, so, I
mean I only see on the weekends, so it's twice
on the weekends, right, every weekend. It's manatory gotta go down.

Speaker 1 (01:21:16):
Oh is that like?

Speaker 5 (01:21:18):
What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
It's not like it's not like okay, it's like trying
to go to work, girl, it's not.

Speaker 5 (01:21:22):
It's mutual ray dag No, it's you know, yeah, it's
about that sometimes more, sometimes less, yes, but that's about
the that's about yeah, okay, it is that thing and
me never died, it never slowed down in nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
Yeah, great nothing.

Speaker 7 (01:21:39):
I'm in my prime.

Speaker 1 (01:21:40):
You are, Yeah, technically you are. I'm like three times
past my I did the math, hanging on for dear
life though, let's go it, let's do it. I might
be so mine used to be a lot higher. Okay,
but we added this little dog to our life.

Speaker 7 (01:21:57):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
Yeah, this dog will not let me near my wife
without losing her mind. Like the dog barks like crazy
that she doesn't bite me, but she jumps out. She
doesn't want me near her work. And so if we've
tried to lock her out of the room and she
sits there and just barks and scratches at the door,
that does a lot to throw your game out a
little bit. Yeah, So I would say usually usually we

(01:22:19):
would be probably around sixty five, which is every week
a little bit more than every week healthy. But now
what is little dog? We probably down to about I
would say thirty five. See, what you need to do
is we're on path for which is every couple weeks.

Speaker 5 (01:22:36):
Really, what you need to do is when your wife
goes to work, she's out working. You sit down to
the dogs and listen to how to talk to you player.
I love you being here, your fan, but you're messing
things up.

Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
I've had this conversation, said, she tilts her head the
other way. She tilts her the other way. Then she
bats at me with her paul and then she brings
me something to play with, and then the conversation is
over and nothing wowall yeah yeah yeah, dog got attachment
issues big time. And I have a you know, an

(01:23:10):
adult son who lives at home. He probably don't even
want to hear this, so yeah, yeah, see, you have
to work it out.

Speaker 5 (01:23:17):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that's good though. We're trying.

Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
Yeah yeah, wow tried this bad weekend and just whatn't happened?

Speaker 5 (01:23:24):
What's happening now?

Speaker 1 (01:23:24):
Between the kid getting home and the dog wouldn't shut up?

Speaker 8 (01:23:27):
And it's like you know what, damn Yeah, that's why
you guys get random hotels.

Speaker 5 (01:23:30):
It is.

Speaker 3 (01:23:33):
For me.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):
It costs me money to go to the movie. I
got the kid at my house, but she lives alone
in her house. Yes, so right, you know, but when
in my house is just like hey man, you're going
to be yeah, what you're gonna stay up? But you know, yeah,
he's no, I know, it's very it's not. It's not
it's not a full movie, right, it's not. It's not conducive.

(01:23:53):
I'm like this, If we can't do a full movie,
I don't I don't even want to. I don't even
want to do it. I don't want a preview. I
didn't want Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:24:02):
Yeah, so now it's your turn. Adult conversation. A study
says that people in the twenties going to the movies
eighty times per year on average, and then when you
get a little older, it drops down to twenty times
a year. So we're gonna ask you. And the way
it works is we throw our little personal business out there,
you gotta throw yours back at us. How many times
a year would you say that you go to the movies? Okay,

(01:24:23):
how many times a year? You take the weeks and
then you multiply it and then you average it out.
You know, it doesn't have to be like like unless
you got a journal, like Ray got a journal. Yeah,
you have to just round it up or round it down,
whichever one you want to do. Four O seven now
one nine one O six seven eight seven seven nine
one nine one on six seven XL mobile fort one
O six seven live stream. We want to hear from

(01:24:45):
you on social media, no way, because y'all get dirty
and we got in trouble. So if you want to
tell us adult conversation, on average, how many times do
you go to the movies a year? Four O seven
now one nine one O six seven eight seven seven
nine one nine one on six seven. We be waiting
on your call right here on Johnny's House. Grown folks
talking on the radio trying to find out on average,
how many times a week, how many times a year

(01:25:07):
that you go to the movies? From Chili olda melody,
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (01:25:12):
Good morning Johnny, Good morning favor By the way, you're
my favorite too. Wow.

Speaker 9 (01:25:18):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (01:25:19):
Hey.

Speaker 15 (01:25:20):
I got to meet you last year and it was wonderful. Hey.
I am retired and one of the highlights that I
have is going to the movies. So I got the
unlimited past and minimum go three days a week maximum.

Speaker 3 (01:25:35):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (01:25:36):
Now do you go someone with you or do you
go to movies by yourself?

Speaker 15 (01:25:40):
Well, initially going alone, I'm like this is weird, you know, But.

Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
Sometimes I have to go alone.

Speaker 15 (01:25:46):
I get you going around or my hobby is working,
but I tell you going alone, it's it's like peace.

Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
Yeah, that's nice, it is.

Speaker 5 (01:25:55):
But you know what, I don't ever want. I don't
want you know what. I don't want anybody to see
me going to the movies by myself. That could be embarrassing.

Speaker 15 (01:26:02):
Oh no, Johnny, I'm not the only one.

Speaker 11 (01:26:04):
There's a few of us, so y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
So all of y'all in the movie my family. It's
wonderful to move with your family.

Speaker 5 (01:26:13):
That's a bit weird.

Speaker 6 (01:26:15):
I'll go sometimes.

Speaker 15 (01:26:16):
I'll go sometimes with you know, I'll take churms with different.

Speaker 9 (01:26:19):
Daughters, adult children, Oh wow, and will go.

Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
Okay, so you go with someone different pretty much every time.

Speaker 9 (01:26:31):
I try.

Speaker 1 (01:26:31):
Yeah, no one's available.

Speaker 10 (01:26:33):
I go along.

Speaker 5 (01:26:33):
Yeah, that's what that's life. Though.

Speaker 1 (01:26:35):
Your first choice is someone different every time. But if
that ain't options, then by yourself, okay, gotcha.

Speaker 5 (01:26:40):
You know what, Millennie, I'll only go to the movies
by myself if that's the last option, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:26:47):
Really, Yeah, I want you to try it.

Speaker 1 (01:26:50):
Yeah, Johnny, you know what, This afternoon, he's gonna try it.

Speaker 5 (01:26:56):
I can't this afternoon. I got a lot of stuff
to do. But maybe it would end. No, I don't
think so I don't think so, Melody. You are an
amazing woman and I appreciate you listening to this program
A short film.

Speaker 6 (01:27:07):
Oh you guys are awesome. I just so wicked with
three of my four children.

Speaker 5 (01:27:12):
Wow. Yeah, wow that sounds.

Speaker 15 (01:27:17):
My husband's a movie goer with me as well.

Speaker 5 (01:27:21):
Okay, how many times, Melanie, how many times a year
would you say you and your husband go to the movies?

Speaker 6 (01:27:27):
I would say we go.

Speaker 15 (01:27:29):
It will total one hundred wow wow a caulated Yes,
limited past.

Speaker 5 (01:27:39):
Yeah, well, I mean if you got somebody to go with,
I would think that's always the unlimited past.

Speaker 7 (01:27:43):
My girlfriend for the limited past.

Speaker 6 (01:27:45):
Wonderful it is.

Speaker 5 (01:27:46):
Yes, well, Melody, we got to run. But I appreciate you,
I really do. You made my day.

Speaker 4 (01:27:52):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
Thank you make my day so much. If I use
my unlimited past, my fore, I'm gonna be giant.

Speaker 5 (01:28:00):
Lisa.

Speaker 13 (01:28:01):
Yes Lisa, you got my name right this time.

Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Johnny, because I answered the phone.

Speaker 13 (01:28:08):
You always call me a Lisa.

Speaker 7 (01:28:11):
I'm like, no, it's Lisa.

Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
Because if you go to the movies by yourself, to
let you go, death.

Speaker 13 (01:28:18):
Boy, Johnny, I'm sorry. Anyways, listen, I go to the
movies at least three times a week, okay, and not
by myself, not by my phone, and so to occasionally
maybe one twice. No, I would say, maybe once or twice.

(01:28:41):
But I'm in my sixties. Let me tell you, let
me tell you, things get better with age.

Speaker 3 (01:28:49):
Well, because you.

Speaker 5 (01:28:51):
Know what you're doing. Yeah, you know what you're doing.

Speaker 13 (01:28:53):
You know what I'm doing, And I know how my
body moved. I know how his body moves.

Speaker 14 (01:28:58):
And listen in the you know, life is a learning process.

Speaker 13 (01:29:03):
It is the amazing, amazing, that's amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:29:07):
She's making up amazing, he's talking and talking.

Speaker 9 (01:29:12):
That's how good it is.

Speaker 10 (01:29:13):
I'm telling but it was so great, and I am
so so so grateful.

Speaker 13 (01:29:18):
For the person I had.

Speaker 5 (01:29:20):
Look good for you. You keep on, you keep on
doing what you do, all right?

Speaker 13 (01:29:25):
Oh yes, I haven't listening until I'm ninety. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:29:28):
When I'm trying, you might find something they find kind
of hard for somebody to do it with. But that's okay,
you know.

Speaker 11 (01:29:34):
You do it.

Speaker 10 (01:29:35):
You know, then I have to go by myself.

Speaker 5 (01:29:37):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:29:39):
Appeals for that bye, detail.

Speaker 5 (01:29:43):
Over there, you can use me.

Speaker 1 (01:29:44):
Let's see power by Attorney Dan Newlan, Interrect Needed Jackets
and Briner just call attorney Dan Newly and someone said
that call is adorable. Oh is why I love. Then
someone said I would like to average about one hundred
fifty hundred and sixty, but my partner says nine, not
so much. So we're seventy okay, eighty a year. Yeah, sure, no,

(01:30:05):
we'll take Yes, we'll take that forty five.

Speaker 8 (01:30:08):

Speaker 5 (01:30:18):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
