The findings of an outside investigation finding credible evidence that
he was having an affair with a member of his staff.
At that point, it appears more snapped. His wife called
nine one one, saying he was suicidal. After losing his job,
and then a woman at the address of his executive
assistant called nine one one, saying he has walked in
(01:31):
with a knife and was attacking her after stalking her
for months. Listen here.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
Colorful it is at the location and how it's attack
here they've been stocking her for months. They call that
one's wife and saying that the effect is suicide of
perfect finding his.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Chaff today, truft.
Speaker 7 (02:01):
You love that night.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
Moore, who is married with three daughters, is now in
jail after losing one of the most prominent positions in
college football, where he was making around six million dollars
a year and was two years into a thirty million
dollar contract.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
The Detroit News.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
Reports that the university investigated this alleged affair earlier this year,
and John Bacon, who's written five books on the Wolverine
football team and is closely tied to the program, says
at the time both Moore and a staff member denied
the relationship, but he says something clearly changed between then
and Wednesday.
Speaker 8 (02:37):
That story changed yesterday morning when she went on the hill.
As we say, the administration office with the receipts, the
text messages, the emails, documents and so on, laying out
the details of the relationship and the conflicts thereof, and
that of course resulted in Shuran Moore being fired.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Michigan is the winningest program in college football history, and
this is just the latest scandal to hit the school
and the team after an on the field cheating scandal
three years ago led to one of the largest fines
in college football history for the school, as well as
suspensions for More and other coaches.

We had a great conversation with him yesterday about the fad.
You can hear that on the iHeartRadio wherever you download
your podcast, but you can reach out in person and
find out what's right for you. Buy REFI home equity
line of credits. The FED rates continue to come down,
hhmlending dot Com well it looks like Tyler Robinson's trial
will be televised. At least they will allow cameras in
(03:59):
the court. He was in court yesterday for the first
time in provo Utah and the judge Tony.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Graff theer hearing those arguments of the whether.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
They should or shouldn't. I believe they met a really
good but decision there. But yesterday there was some interesting
You watched the pictures of videos of this man or
this young man accused chuckling in court, smiling a little
too much for my comfort. The Senate yesterday rejected extension
of Obamacare subsidies.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
It's over Obamacare.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Subersty just had a wall, and the Senate means higher
premiums could lend fast for millions. We've yet to really
hear what the options might really look like. Other than
that Trump says, you'd like to see you get paid
and not the insurance companies, and that's a particularly attractive proposal.
How that comes together, will We'll have to wait to
see that Maryland man order to be released immediately by.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
The Maryland judge. An activist, no doubt, you know. On
the left.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Will he be detained again? That's the question in our
big street. Trump administration says, guy's still dangerous. He's a
member of the gang. And we've got to make sure terrorists,
gang related folk got to be picked up, especially folks
with any of those prior histories of violence and whatnot.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
And they maintain here now the press again, the media.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
So just a Maryland man, You're just a father from Maryland,
that's all who we're talking about here. But you know
he's so innocent that all these countries they try to
deport him, to refuse to take him.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Is it? Isn't that something? All right? Again? Join the
conversation you like to today it's a.

dot News on the line with.
Speaker 9 (06:06):
This good morning, good morning.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
You know this is our love.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
By the way, I think this is our last conversation
of the year, Kyle, me and you. It's uh, you
know this is I would feel like it's got a
little more weight on it than a just a random Friday.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
But man, there's so much news.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
It never stops in this uh, in this day and age,
so on it next next week obviously, I've got some
out of town for some family, and I'm getting ready
to gear up for the Glenn back program. We're gonna
do some fill in for Glenn during the Christmas time,
So that's why I'm trying to get my family stuff
out of the way.
Speaker 10 (06:41):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
And then we're into twenty twenty six, and what a
year it's gonna be. I think you talk about the
significance of that year and what it really will have
on the on the state of Michigan where we go
from here. You guys have been doing an awful lot
of reporting about this.
Speaker 9 (06:58):
Yeah, there's a lot. There's obviously a lot going on.
Twenty twenty six is a huge year for Michigan in
the direction that we as a state are going to head.
And so obviously there's you know, several statewide elections going on,
very different philosophies, very different personalities and life experiences in
(07:21):
all of that, and so it's going to be interesting
to see and we'll continue to be in Lansing, will
be on the campaign trail covering candidates and campaigns, and
there's a lot going on.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Let's talk about what's happening right now across the status.
The Midwestern Aer covers these stories each and every day
at the Midwestern or the Midwesterner Dot now. So we
do have some big ones on the tap right now
and some of the stuff obviously, you know, there's.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Some data center updates we got to talk about.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
That's a whole other issue that I think will continue
to be a big one through twenty twenty six. But
the House saying no, So Whitmer last minute spending spree
might be at the top of the list today because
again it just proves what happens when you get some
adults in the room.
Speaker 9 (08:07):
Yeah, Basically, what had happened was the Whitmer administration submitted
a list of items they wanted to spend money on
because that hadn't been spent, and it was six hundred
and forty four million dollars, which is a lot of money,
and it's it just sort of seemed to come out
of nowhere, and it was submitted to the Appropriate the
(08:29):
House Appropriations Committee, which you know, has to appropriate the money,
and the Republican majority on the committee said, no, we're
not going to spend six hundred and forty four million
dollars on these last minute projects. And I saw Matt
Maddick tweeted something about since Whitmer has been in office,
(08:49):
this this sort of last minute Oh, we haven't spent this,
so we have to all of a sudden spend It
totals ten billion dollars and it's just and so this
new Republican majority in the House is saying, no, we're
not doing this business as usual.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, And I've seen Manick and some of the others
make the point too. And maybe Kyle you can you
can tie this in. But there's a lot of money
that's sitting around that hasn't been spent that Democrats billions.
Maybe that's just sitting in coffers. And part of this
is this play that gets done it last minute, as
you speak. Is just sort of like the way of
taking care of their their cronies, the folks that have
(09:29):
you know that donated to the campaign or whatever it
might be. They they've got this sort of slice look
way of doing it behind closed doors.
Speaker 9 (09:37):
Well sure, and it's and it's always we have to
spend the money. It's never oh we didn't we didn't
end up doing that project. So maybe we should save
the money, we should put it in a rainy day fund,
maybe we should give it back to taxpayers. That's a
radical concept. And no, they don't do that. They just say, oh,
we've got to spend it, because of course it's not
their money, and so it doesn't really matter to that them.
(10:01):
They just want to spend it. And the Republicans said, no,
we're not going to do that. Now, the question is
what's going to happen next year, because you know, this money,
they would have to do a tax cut in order
to give it back, and there's not been any indication
that they're going to do that, or that Whitmer would
you know, or the State Senate would go along with
(10:23):
anything like that. So it just rolls over. But the
Republicans and the Appropriations Committee and the Speaker of the House.
They have to be vigilant that this is not just
spent anyway.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
All right, let's talk about crazy money flying around and
in the way that that that works in a Lansing.
Mally McMorrow she's out there talking about how bad Ticketmaster
prices are after she did something to raise those very
prices herself recently.
Speaker 9 (10:57):
Oh the irony, right, And I I agree with her.
The ticket prices are outrageous. I was just looking at
a concert that's about to go on sale and the
front section is over six hundred dollars face value a ticket.
It's outrageous. But you know what, as a consumer, if
I don't want to pay that, then I won't pay
(11:17):
that and I won't go. That's that's a choice that
we all make. And it is you know, Ticketmaster and
the other the other ticket you know companies are they
are they gouging? You know, I wouldn't. I would not
make the case that they aren't. But what Mallory mcmurrow's
trying to do is have it both ways. Because she's
(11:39):
complaining about ticket prices, which I think we all agree
are outrageous, but a couple of years ago she floated
this idea of doing an amusement tax. And this was
and she floated this right when the Lions were starting
to get better, and she wanted to seize on Lion
ticket Lion ticket prices and people going to games and saying,
(12:02):
let's tax that. And so she wanted to create this
fun tax on Lions tickets, sports tickets, zoos, museums, all
kinds of things, anything that would be deemed fun she
wanted to tax. So while she's complaining about ticketmaster prices,
she would have made it worse if her amusement tax
(12:24):
was passed.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, it's another one of those stories that you just
can't make up. And yet they have it at the
Midwest or the Midwestern Dot News and you can find
out more. There's more growing and we'll probably the wrap here,
but this is going to be a big issue end
at twenty twenty six because they're not going away anytime soon.
It's not just here, they're all throughout the Midwest, South,
throughout the country, but the data centers, AI and the
rest of them growing opposition as we've seen in the
(12:48):
last days as well.
Speaker 9 (12:50):
Yeah, it's growing because it seems to be done in secret.
These are just sort of surprise announcements and they're trying
to rush them through. And what we're seeing in Saline
and Howell and Lowell and across the state is local
residents are saying, at the very least, can we slow
the process down so we can better understand what this
(13:13):
is going to do to our community. But the Whitmer administration,
the MPSC, they are they're charging ahead and they're going
to do everything they can to steam roll these local communities.
And so we're going to be there in Howell and
Lowell and everywhere else bringing to our readers exactly what's
going on and what local residents are doing to have
(13:35):
their say.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
It's a big story, it's a very important one. And
again I'm growing in the twenty twenty six and beyond,
but stick with Kyle and the folks at the Midwestern
are and here as well for the latest on these
stories and more what matters most in West miss going
to be on.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
We're going to have.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
All the updates in twenty twenty six and more from
our good friends at the Midwestern. Don't just bookmarkt you
want to put your name in so you can get
the updates as well, sent right straight to your email
via the OLK. Always a pleasure, my friend. Merry Christmas
and a happy New Year to you.
Speaker 9 (14:06):
Thank you, Merry Christmas.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
You know it. It sounds a little early for me.
I don't just me personally to say that, but it
it is. It's gonna be one of those, one of
those moments, the last of the of the year with Kyle,
and we always appreciate his updates. More from the Midwest
and or in moments, and of course more right here,
maybe even here from you as well. On a free
(14:29):
for all Friday, don't go anywhere. It's West Miskin live
on World Radio.
Speaker 11 (15:48):
Here are your headlines from The Midwesterner this Friday, December twelfth.
I'm Robin Poffman. It's a Midwesterner dot News original story.
The Michigan House rejects the Whitward administration six hundred and
forty four million dollar last minute spending spree. House speaker
Republican Matt Hall saying a lot of things in here
were part of the Democrats radical left wing environmental agenda.
(16:09):
It's their wacko left climate agenda, he says. Talk about
a hypocrite state senator, Democrat Mallorie McMorrow is busy complaining
about Ticketmaster prices, this after she pushes an event amusement
tax that would increase the cost of tickets. And President
Trump at the White House talking about the Pentagon strikes
on Venezuela and drug boats.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Drug traffic by sea is down ninety two percent, and
nobody can figure out who the eight percent is because
I have no idea anybody getting involved in that right
now is not doing well. And we'll start that on
land too. It's going to be starting on land pretty soon.
Speaker 11 (16:43):
For these stories and more, visit the Midwesterner at the
Midwesterner dot.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
New Michigan Auto Law Auto Accent Attorneys.
Speaker 3 (16:50):

Speaker 1 (16:52):
That's auto Law dot Com.
Speaker 2 (16:56):

paid or donate either way online reads across America dot com.
You know, that's a great organization and all the great
work that they do to remember, honor and teach the fallen,
honor those who served, and continue to teach the next
generation of value of freedom. It's a mission of refs
(17:17):
across America and join them and sponsor a wreath. It's
very very cool organization to be a part of it.
I just love to see, especially here when we had
the vets home. We have that the cemetery out back
there and seeing those reason laid for those folks, I
know it lights lights them up to remember and know
that they are they're not forgotten. We appreciate your support
(17:39):
in that, and of course your support is always a
good feed store keeping this program on the air, at
me on my feet and I toe as we're reporting
the stories that you won't hear anywhere else as always,
and this is that season, right you're kind of I
went to and from we had one of those work
things last night and we were at great time. In fact,
we had a really good time with a lot of folks.
(18:00):
Got a chance to see some friendly faces that keep
this radio station and the program on as well. And
you know the sort of the behind the scenes with
some great conversations. One guy that I've known for like
twenty years and when his business sort of just began
and he is booming. It's really it's like an American
success story. The folks at Affordable Limousine, Justin and the
(18:20):
crew there, and I won't tell you all the stories
that I have of today has gone by twenty years ago.
But we just had a great time reconnecting last night.
Whether it's one of those parties you know, work or
fun or maybe both. The Good Feed Store can keep
you on your feet and in comfort this year twenty
eighth Street right in front of Costco or in Portage
(18:41):
on Westage in front of Coals, both locations to serve you.
Walk in today to the Good Feed Store and see
how they can help you. I guarantee you're gonna love it.
Coming up, we're gonna dig into the latest this Maryland
man and what's going on with him. Tina Peters has
been freed and Trump says he may actually take out
a few more oil tankers. The real story about what's
(19:03):
happening behind the scenes with Venezuela. You're just not gonna
get anywhere else. Well, we'll get into it after this
and our BONDI the hourn Is it it failed? Well
you knew it would be.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
But is it al Green or shri Thanador.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
One of the wackiest of the wacky, the loon wing
of the Democrat Party again introducing articles of impeachment and
President Trump again yesterday hit the floor of the House.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
It failed once again.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
The ya's are two hundred and thirty seven, the nays
are one and forty, and there are forty seven voting president.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
And the motion is adopted with that objection. The motion
to reconsider is laid on the table. So they they
done it again.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
But by the way, it's this is exactly why twenty
six is gonna matter from a national standpoint. Here in Michigan,
it's it's beyond it's it's whether the state survives or not.
I wholeheartedly agree and believe, but I I just I
just want you to know this is they're already doing it.
They're already trying to uh impeach him. What are we
(20:10):
not even a full year in they've already believed that
they've wanted they have to impeach the guy and and
get a number of things.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
It really doesn't matter whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
That's that's what the No King's Movement protests, all of
that stuff is all designed to do, is just make
you think that he's a king. Well, you can't really
tell us, why can you? Is there is there any reason? Well,
you know all the.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Things he's doing, you know, That's what they'll tell.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
You when you see these interviews of these people who
come to the pro protest, and then they'll walk up
and stick the microphone on.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
The very Do you why do you think we should?
What's why? Is he a king? Can you tell us?
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Well, you know, because you know it's all those things
if it was, if it was a king, you wouldn't
be allowed to be there protesting, just not just not
not exactly playing out how how how you think how
you think that it would and should for those folks
(21:07):
two thirty seven to fourten, there's only fourteen voting to.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Didn't work out the way they said.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
I'll tell you another thing that didn't go their way,
and they're not really happy about this either. Americans are
celebrating low gas price.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Now this is.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Gotta be I want to say it's the South, but
it does it. It probably looks to me more like Missouri, Oklahoma,
some place like that, because there are anything leaves on
the trees. It looks kind of wintry. I do see
a Chick fil A in the background. Maybe we'll find out, Oh,
it might be Colorado. I see mountains on the logo
of the TV channel five there. Maybe that's where this
(21:50):
is in Colorado. But they're celebrating low gas prices. We're
not as low as they are. They're checking in at
a dollar ninety three.
Speaker 12 (22:00):
One dollar ninety three cents at the Exxon off of
Garden of the Gauds Road.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Colorado ranks fourth lowest for gas prices nationally right now,
but the national average below three dollars, and still county.
Speaker 12 (22:13):
Gas prices in Colorado are extremely low, Colorado ranking fourth
lowest nationally according to Triple A.
Speaker 13 (22:21):
I came here out of my way to get gased
because it's a lot cheaper here in i'l Passo County.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Woman drove from Kentucky. Now, I'm kidding she she just came.
She came out of her weighing locally, but still, that's
pretty incredible. They're talking about El Paso County, probably a
really red county.
Speaker 12 (22:38):
The average gas price per gallon is two dollars and
thirty four cents. Two dollars and forty one cents a
gallon in Pueblo County.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
I mean, this is insane, right.
Speaker 10 (22:48):
Buck ninety three gas is a dollar ninety three, which
is awesome.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
I can't believe it.
Speaker 10 (22:53):
I haven't seen these prices since twenty twenty one.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
I don't know, But.
Speaker 12 (22:58):
Why are gas price is so low?
Speaker 7 (23:01):
Are making fuel?
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Trump?
Speaker 2 (23:03):
That's there's one word. I know there's a lot of
things that they're gonna like talk about. I'm sure they'll
mention opak here at the but really there's really only one.
It would not be this way under Buden then continue
to ratchet up. Part of the plan was that we're
all in EV's by this time. And you can see
how that worked out. It didn't quite pan out the way, uh,
the way they'd hoped it would. Gretchen and Greta both themselves,
(23:28):
Joe and the rest of them not very happy.
Speaker 13 (23:29):
Oh dag you.
Speaker 12 (23:31):
Unfortunately, less and less people are driving drives braced. In
other words, there is more supply but less demand.
Speaker 7 (23:37):
Your stations in Colorado that are at dollar seventy a
gallon and you haven't seen that since COVID.
Speaker 13 (23:41):
That's great for families, that's great for consumers.
Speaker 12 (23:43):
That's great for Christmas budgets.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
It doesn't sound too happy about it. Blue, That's that's great.
That's great. Trump dead it. That's great.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Were telling everybody that they couldn't get this done, that
it would have by the way, it's not going to
happen here in Michigan. I don't know how low we go,
but just remember, at the beginning of the year, our
gas tax will be a whopping fifty cents a gallon,
and I think there's a six percent sales tax on
solla you're talking about. I don't know how low it gets.
(24:13):
I don't think we'll see below two dollars a gallon
in Michigan.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
I just don't.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
That would mean the prices would be astronomically lower in
other places.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
And I just don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
But you might be saying, well, we're only attacking Venezuela
fishing boats for the oil. Imagine this narrative. Yes, yes,
it's just for the o. Now oil is a part
of it. But I don't think we're going to head
enough fishing boats and grab enough tankers to get down
below two dollars a gallon in Michigan. However, you gotta
(24:46):
think Gretchen Whitmer fixed the you know what, fixed door,
you know what roads for.
Speaker 13 (24:50):
That holiday is coming up, Like every bit helps, so
for people who buy gas.
Speaker 12 (24:55):
They told me that the whole prices continue to stay
this low or even better, boat down and price how
much is usually cost you put you know, gast your truck.
Speaker 10 (25:05):
Oh my gosh, well I have a thirty seven gallon
gas tank, so it's a lot. It can be one
hundred dollars or more.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
That's a big tank, brother, I tell you what with
twenty twenty gallons, I'm I'm like, really, I'm really happening.
I think the average was fifteen.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
You know, years back when they're trying to increase fuel
economy and the rest of it. Whatever, they you know,
they make the cars lighter and whatnot. They they they
pushed out a lot of cars with smaller gas tanks.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
But you know, that guy's probably got a big honkin truck.
Speaker 10 (25:40):
If I fill it out today. One second, it was
only forty four dollars.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Whoa forty four dollars?
Speaker 10 (25:49):
Only forty four but I put in like.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Eighteen gallons.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Yeah, it's about forty five dollars for.
Speaker 10 (25:58):
Twenty gallons right now, twenty two to twenty two point
four gallons in Colorado Springs, Livewood.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
This high all right, it's just in Colorado Springs. There
you go.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
So it's just part of the stories they don't want
you to hear. Uh And look we got. We just
got to make sure that we make it clear so
that everyone know. I mean, look, otherwise you just want
to hear. Did you think the nightly news is going
to cover this? Mike and Wyoming? You're up next, Good morning,
Welcome in on a free for all Friday.
Speaker 7 (26:27):
All right, Justin. Normally I don't talk to you on Friday,
but I just want to give you a quick word
about you know, the terrorists and how they benefit the person.
But it really hasn't happened, Justin. And the only reason
why I say it is I don't mind his long
range plan, but I look at people and they want
(26:48):
to see these oulds quick. And I'm looking at the
midterms and you know, guys like me going to retire
to have our homes and all that paid off is
one thing, but I still, you know, a thousand bucks
off of car when they're thirty grand and an average
is and what they're doing wait.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
wait wait wait wait wait stop stop, Mike.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
I got listen.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
I love hearing from you, but I literally just played
this long report people getting gas in Colorado for a
dollar ninety three gallon, and we know it's way. It's
it's lower here that it's been in four years too.
I mean it's like that everywhere. Oh wait, wait wait Mike,
just wait.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Hey, wait a second, wait a second wait, but just
just wait wait wait wait wait wait? What are people
paying more for now?
Speaker 2 (27:34):
And by the way, I get the gist of what
you're saying, I agree with most of it, but I
just want to just you can't rain on my parade
that quickly. I just played this wonderful, wonderful report. Here
comes Mike with Adobe glue, but he's got the cloud
hanging over. It's like Linus in his blanket. Okay, So
here's the thing. How I mean, what is it? Because
I will tell you I think the gas is probably
(27:56):
the thing that most immediately and probably the biggest impact
a lot of folks. But what is it that you're
paying more for now under Trump than you were for
under Biden that's directly due to tariffs or one of
those things? Is there anything.
Speaker 7 (28:12):
Justin the price? Is still need about it?
Speaker 3 (28:14):
Answer the question? Answer the question first, and then we'll
get to the We'll get to your point. Because I
think it's.
Speaker 7 (28:19):
Valent I don't I don't see it Justin, I shout
in the store.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Wait a minute, Mike, I love you, brother, Please just answer.
Is there anything more?
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Okay? But is there anything? Is there anything that you're
paying more for now under Trump than you were for
under Biden. That's because of the tariffs.
Speaker 7 (28:40):
I will answer that if you let me get my
final saying, but you won't. Yes, things have come down overall,
and he's done. Wonderful.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
There's your answer.
Speaker 7 (28:49):
Okay, I get that, but justin, that's good. But I'm
thinking a daylight and a dollar a short night enough.
I'm thinking about the mid term electures. People still can't
buy houses.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
That it was all right, Mike gotapause you. I love you,
but we can't monologue. Here's all I'll say to you.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
And I appreciate it because I you know what, I
kind of agree. I kind of agree with what the
gist of your conversation is, which is, you know, we
really gotta make sure that we're making ground, okay, and
we got to make sure that people feel it and
they see it. But even more important, and this is
why your conversation matters. This is why it matters because
(29:31):
you gotta hear it. People have to hear it, and
if you keep saying it nothing's working and it's not
working fast enough, then that just weighs in. That just
sort of goes right into the drum beat. It's the
drum beat of the narrative which is fed by the
left and the media. The truth is lots is down,
(29:53):
The truth is nothing is up. That is because of
Tarras and Trump that you feel or that you couldn't
identify anything. I have en't been able to identify. I'm
seriously asking that question. And so the reason I had
to sort of cut you off there and way I
bring you back because I do believe that people need
to feel it, but they need to hear it before
they could feel it, because they need to they need
to understand what they're seeing. That's that's biggest You're not
(30:17):
going to get, you know, housing in all of that,
like answered right away by by by the time that
you people go to vote next year, I don't know,
certainly not ten months in. That's what you're essentially saying
is that he didn't wave a magic wand and like
my entire life got better. That's it's not going to
happen immediately. It needs you got to turn the ship
(30:39):
and it takes time to do it. But I'll agree
with you. I'll agree with you, and I do thank
you for your call. Thank you Mike for calling in.
I do appreciate it. But I had to. I just
had to stop you and slow your role just to look.
I agree that people need to feel it. I agree
it's important for the midterms, but you also have to
give credit where credit is due.
Speaker 7 (30:59):
Right, That's just I am, But you and me no better.
But I'm looking at the average hojo walking down.
Speaker 9 (31:06):
The street, all right.
Speaker 7 (31:07):
I want to see that in the fan and it
has it really directly put the benefit in their pocket? Justin?
You and I know better.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
What do you want to see? What do you want
to see her? What do you think they need to see?
Speaker 7 (31:18):
He should have lowered interest rates way back?
Speaker 3 (31:21):
He couldn't. He couldn't. He's not in control of interest rates.
Speaker 7 (31:25):
I have to beg to differ on that.
Speaker 9 (31:27):
Number two.
Speaker 7 (31:28):
Okay, what can it do too? The tariffs could have waited, Justine,
I say that the money should have He's bragging about
how much money he took on on tariff, but people
still are not seeing any of it.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
All all right, Mike, I love you. I gotta go. Here's
the deal I gotta break, and I'm so sorry, but
I'm behind.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
If you've already made a put in your mind on
your terraffs, I'm not going to change it. But the
fact of the matter is, we here in Michigan are
seeing already the boon. We've got manufacturing major billions of
dollars coming back in. We've got the auto industry back
building in America again, and we're benefiting from it. So
I don't really don't know how to I can't, can't,
And there are people that don't like tariffs, and in
(32:04):
theory I don't. But we're not in the classroom anymore, folks.
This is what you have to do. The conversations you
have to have with friends. And I'm libertarian minded, so
I just want you to understand this, the conversations you
have to have with friends that are in this sort
of vanage. You have to say it's very simple. Look,
we're not in the classroom.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
We're in real life.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
And that is what the President is doing, using the
tariffs to bring the manufacturing back, to renegotiate deals and
make these companies fall and countries other countries fall back
in line, and he's done that successfully. So look, there
are things I'd like to see move quicker, but we're
talking messaging here. We're really not talking about much more
(32:42):
that can be done. And maybe there are a few things.
We'll talk about it next, but you can join us
free for all Friday six one, six, seven, seven four,
twenty four, twenty four again back with.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
More and one thing that I think we really can
do after this informative, it's engage it.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barkley on news Radio
Wood thirteen hundred and one oh six nine a half.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
All right, all right, all right, So for Mike and
anybody else that's you know, it's not moving fast enough
and what let me let me break this down. I
literally just played the report from Colorado the woman's standing
out for and the left is so perplexed. They can't
believe Trump did a gas under two dollars another.
Speaker 12 (33:26):
One dollar ninety three cents. I can't go on off
a garden of the Guard's road.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, then I calls it. Tell me it's the end
of the world. The sky is falling. It's not folks,
because it's not happening fastest. Some of this I agree with. Yes,
I agree with the fact. People need to feel it,
but first they need to hear it before they feel it.
And they need to hear it because they need to
hear the truth. The fact is they're constant Why is
this justin why do you say, because they're constantly being
lied to the left of mainstream media even like you know,
(33:53):
black pilled folks who see the chicken little the sky
is falling all the time, they do not understand. They
don't get at it when they go out talking these things.
The Bible says it this way in the Book of Proverbs, right,
the life and death is in the power of the tongue.
You go out speaking negatively, in negativity, over and over
and over and over and over again.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
Guess what you ask can you shall receive? You're gonna
get what you've asked for.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
So if you always feel like this guy is falling,
and you always say the guy is falling, and guess what,
that's exactly what you're gonna experience.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
But also.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
You're gonna see that reported from the news media because
they want you to see it. They want you to
give it life, and they want you to feel that way.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Because Trump Baden. Nothing was bad about the last four
years for these people.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Nothing was bad about the last four years. It's just
Trump's not gonna be able to turn around fast enough.
Trump's a problem, that's not it. So here's the solution,
because we don't have We only have an hour here,
and you know it's important we get to it and
and move on. So but this is this is it? Yeah,
(34:55):
gotta tell people how good it is. You got to
tell people what Trump has accomplished, and you got to
tell him what he's going to do next. You gotta
tell him. People need to know that the gap use
what why are you still playing this gap? But they
need to know it. They need to know where gas
prices are. They need to understand and by the way,
how much does that save you over the course of
a year. How much did that save you or me?
(35:19):
How much does that save us? When it comes to
you know, on our on our monthly even on our
monthly budgets are weekly people that drive and they have
to get back and forth for work only only gas
prices are down. And that's a big when for the
Trump administration is everything down now? But he didn't do it.
(35:41):
The other thing that needs to be realized and remembered.
And I don't know what we ever got away from
this word, but we got to tell people about bidenflation again,
and you walk a line, you got to say bidenflation.
But Trump is already fixing and will continue to fix
the proms. If you're worried about the midterms, that's the
it's education and you're responsible for that. And calling up
(36:05):
and crying about Trump not moving fast enough or people
maybe not feeling it. That's not gonna do it. And
again I'm not trying to throw Mike completely under the bus.
I think the gist of what he's saying I agree with.
People need to hear it, they need to feel it.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
That's all I'll say about it. Groceries are down, some
Sean asked in the chat.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Are groceries down?
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Some are, some are not, And many of them don't
even have a thing to do with terraces. So just
remember that again. You're talking about housing prices. Here's the
gist of the housing You know, this is a whole
and I rely only you'll have a minute or so
to wrap here, but you know some of you don't
want housing prices to go down. You don't want affordable
(36:47):
housing because that's where you got your nest egg. A
lot of folks who are retiring. There's a dirty little secret.
You want the home values to go down. The best
way to be able to do that is through interest
rates right now, make it more people get into homes.
But then again, I got people in the chat telling
it that's a bad thing. So listen, I'm just telling
you over and.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Over and over again.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Yeah, gotta look at the things that are happening, all
the good things, and there are so many great things. Again,
go through a list, we'll put it together. In fact,
I think it'd be a great idea great exercise. Look
at all the things that Trump has done, and how
much more affordable things already are. This whole affordability argument.
The reason he said it was a hoax is it's
it's Democrat media. Uh, it was constructed.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
The whole thing. It said things aret for you.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
It didn't even mean anything the affordable I understand what
it means, but what they're saying a completely different ORDEO.
All right, folks, again, twenty six is important. That's why
we've got to be clear on all of this stuff.
Love to talk to you, Love to have those conversations.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
But let's keep in mind.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
