(00:08):
There you have it. Well, what what a night, What a what
an end to the big convention?A speech for President Trump that lasted an
hour and a half. And Iguess you know when you when you get
shot on a Saturday, you comeback and do your speech on a on
(00:31):
a Thursday. You can take aslong as you need. You can take
as long as you need. Itwas much of it interrupted by applause,
as you can imagine. Uh.And there were some interesting points to this
speech. I can't help but think. Uh. And he even mentioned this,
(00:52):
by the way, this is aman who is changed in and in
fact in good ways, would Iwould say, by that brush with death,
this is a man who is well, he said to himself at his
own words. Really essentially he said, I'm not supposed to be here.
(01:17):
I'm not supposed to be here tonight. And uh, yes, yes you
are. According to the crowd, that's what they shouted back to him.
I'm not supposed to be here tonight, not supposed to be here, you
(01:37):
know, thank you, but I'mnot. And I'll tell you I stand
(02:00):
before you in this arena only bythe grace of Almighty God. It was
a moment that that I I don'tthink will will soon be be forgotten by
(02:23):
those that were in attendance, thepeople had watched it, and certainly by
President Trump himself. He was flankedto his right by the fireman's jacket and
the helmet of the man who waskilled that day. Compretour is his name,
(02:46):
the firefighter who was killed protecting hisfamily. Hero in that moment,
he was trying to shield his wifeand his daughter from the gunfire. What's
interesting now, and this is kindof a side note, but we can
kind of maybe we can get intothis later. But what's interesting now is
(03:10):
seeing the way the layout is thefor that event, the stage where the
twenty year old was and where Comparatourwas the there there's another piece of We
know that he saved his his hisfamily's life, we know that he was
(03:37):
a shield for them, but CoreyCompretour, he he he may have saved
President Trump's life as well. Hewas and I didn't realize this, but
(03:58):
he was in between the sniper andPresident Trump. A lot of people thought,
and I was one of them, that that this person was behind President
Trump, and I think maybe someof the injured were, but in fact,
(04:18):
he was in front of really tothe side, but in front of
in terms of where that sniper wasthe twenty year old whoever. So it's
an interesting thought. But again that'sthat's just another side note of a bit
(04:43):
of a somber moment last night andthe speech. I think there were the
hour and a half the leading upto it. I've never seen an RNC.
I've never seen a convention this energized. I've never seen one quite like
this at all. And and thisis, by the way, it's got
it's got the left freaking out.I'm barely even telling you, uh,
(05:09):
and I've got big news, soI'll get I got to get to some
of that coming up. But here'sthe official announcement. Running to be president
for all of America, not halfof America, because there is no victory
in winning for half of America. So tonight, with faith and devotion,
(05:31):
I proudly accept your nomination for Presidentof the United States. Thank you.
I am right the way. Whenthe balloons came down last night, they
celebrated, I thought this was kindof interesting. The balloons were red,
white, and blue, and gold, which which was well I just thought
(05:59):
that I just thought was that's pureTrump and a signal, by the way,
something bigger, a signal by theway that this now and and I
think there's no doubt about it watchingthe entire convention, this is now Trump's
party. This is uh the Trumpcampaign and an organization has full and complete
control over the party. And uh, and they're not backing down, They're
(06:24):
not backing away everything. The waythat it played out the convention was all
too because of his the way theway it was designed to be specifically,
and the unity specifically by by bya team, and that that is all
(06:47):
Trump. Okay, So here's thethe reaction from the Democrats. And I've
got to tell you this is gettingit's your You're already starting to see it
in burying the lead here because wenow know there are growing balls going calls
(07:08):
for Joe. Biden stepped down yesterday, Obama came out against him. We've
got Schumer, Pelosi, We've gotShifty Shift, We've got all of these
different individuals coming out and against againstBiden. The shift is hitting the fans,
so to speak. It's happening rightnow. There are parts of the
(07:30):
Biden administration team around him that aretrying to hang on, but we're hearing
that it could come as early asSunday that he will announce that he is
not going to remain in the race. Now, I'm just going to I'm
gonna leave it with that, andI'm going to come back to it in
a bit, because there are piecesof this that we have to There are
(07:53):
layers of it that we have todig into. What may happen next,
why this is happening, and thewhole sort of way there's a play out.
Meanwhile, seeing an Van Jones losingtheir minds. Why people are so
mad about it? We are likeminutes away, minutes away from hul Cogan,
ain't a white and Donald ja dothey want to run? I was
talking about that. I want toI want to say the weekend, by
(08:16):
the way, Hulk Hogan last nightthat was something. And you get this
either kid Rock was on stage witha performance. I mean it was action
packed less you know something. Isay this spirit that this guy has you
guys, think this guys, he'sdrunk, He's not. This whole thing
is like this and what what helisten on the pay guys. The last
(08:41):
time I was in the commission thatbelt like this was Obama two thousand and
eight. There's there's there's something happening. A headline. You just run a
headline, just like Obama, Andjust like Obama, Trump is showing in
this convention he has the capacity toalter the composition of the That is the
difference between two thousand and eight now, is that Obama is actually popular outside
(09:05):
of his own party. If well, that's David Axelrod coming in the Obama
guy. What David's missing is thatTrump is in the Popularity is growing outside.
It's drawing by people that have nevervoted before, growing by people who
feel left behind, not just bythe country, but by the whole process,
the way elections work, and thereare new people that will be voting
(09:26):
it. It is the pop culturecrossover is happening. And I don't know
the Democrats have enough time even ifthey drop by and kicking to the curb
like we always thought that they would. This is the Plan B team I've
been talking about for months now,and that's not the case. I don't
think in the actual Rod trying tosave the day. There they know,
(09:52):
because they know CNN knows, theydon't want to give. They don't want
to give Donald Trump too much. They don't want to give him too much
credit right now, because they stillgot to run against him, and they
have yet to really pull all theircards out and lay them on the table.
You're going to see that in thecoming days. A fantastic We'll play
(10:16):
bits and pieces from the speech throughoutthe morning. I gotta get all of
it coming in as we move along. Thanks for being here with us.
The latest from the Midwesterner. TheMidwesterner dot com checking the latest from around
(10:37):
the state and beyond. Back ofToday reported this morning major US airlines and
Putting American Airlines, Delta and Unitedall having the grounds of flights that extending
throughout the rest of the world.Reports it nine one one outages in multiple
(11:01):
states as well. There's a bitof an issue with Softer. You may
remember CrowdStrike. Now, this issomething that was hacked a while back,
and we're still starting to see Istill seeing the impossible issues. Widespread technology
(11:22):
outage disrupts flights, banks, mediaoutlets, and companies around the world.
Escalating disruptions continued hours after the technologycompany said Microsoft saying that it would gradually
be fixing an issue affecting access toMicrosoft three sixty five apps and services.
(11:43):
So there you have it. Ifyou are experiencing any issue tech wise this
morning, it very well possible. It's because of that if you listen to
us online on an app, whetherit be watching the behind the scene live
stream on Facebook or rumble Getter localsthat type of thing. I haven't seen
(12:05):
any issues yet, but there maybe that very row may be a possibility.
You could always stream us of theiHeartRadio app. We've got the the
links to listen online at nine tenam Superstation dot com as well. But
there's the good old fashioned radio too, which is always there and by the
(12:26):
way, and I think that's anotherbig case to be made, particularly for
broadcast. But not only that, but AM which you know the signal on
are nine ten am on our radiostation here out of southeast Michigan. It's
it's it's massive. It's a massive, fifty thousand wants. It goes all
the way up and down it's intoOhio and the JD. Evans territory and
(12:52):
then all the way up to uhGaylard and through you know, up and
down really north and north and south. It's a massive signal goes into Lancing
as far west as Lancing. Ipicked it up at time, So it's
I mean it's a massive we reacha massive amount of area here in Michigan.
(13:16):
It's always good. The website downdetector tracking user reported Internet outages,
recorded growing outages services at Visa,ADT Security, and Amazon, and airlines
including America and Delta. As Isaid in United News, outlets in Australia
reporting airlines, telecommunications providers, andbanks, along with media broadcasters disrupted as
(13:39):
well. But by the way, this shouldn't be a surprise. We know
that these issues are always, unfortunatelypossible. We've been told that they're coming.
We've been warned. The World EconomicForum told us this was you know,
just like they said pandemic. Thisis gonna be the the ear of
cybersecurity attacks and things like that.So these are all things that are on
(14:01):
the radar, and they've all thingsthat we've sort of been ready for and
have experienced before. Now listen,I'm just gonna say this because I think
this goes without saying, Well,it's it's worth repeating here. You know,
if everything goes down and we gointo the stone ages because of some
(14:22):
bug or some hack or who knowswhat EMP attack or could be any number
of things, you gotta be readyfor that, have a little food,
little extra food on hand, andmaybe have some thoughts and ideas on what
you might do ways to protect yourselfprecious metals, gold, silver, lead,
(14:43):
but water is another big thing thatI don't think people think about at
all. Now, I'm not tryingto take you down all the way into
the bunker early. It's money youprobably think of yourself. Come on,
Barkley, here we go into thebunker and it's too early for that.
Well, I don't make the newest, folks, I just report it.
Just just reported. I don't Idon't make it. So anyway, there
(15:05):
these are all things we're going tocover and carry the latest and updates throughout
the morning on this as they continueto come out. So is is it
time for Biden to step away? What we're hearing is that that very well
may be possible. Now. Thereason why I believe we are getting closer
(15:28):
and closer to this situation, tothis scenario unfolding and playing out, is
because now you finally have Obama speakingup, and he's been as quiet as
a church mouse on this. Heis not wanted to weigh in whatsoever.
But now now we have it PresidentJoe Biden reportedly agreeing to step down.
(15:52):
Now, this is coming from MarkHalpern. Again, he's kind of Now,
he'll sort of tell you that heis like a political The best word
is say talking head. I guessanalyst. But I think these guys can
be used as well by these andparticularly Democrats. I think they can be
(16:15):
used by these folks too. Butlisten to what he's saying on Newsmax.
In fact, yesterday Carl Courd tomultiple Democratic sources, this is happening all
of a sudden. Everyone said itwould happen gradually and then all at once,
and that's what's happening. According tomy sources, President Biden has agreed
to step down as a Democratic nominee. Oh man, what happens early as
this weekend. A speech has beendrafted for him. He will continue on
(16:38):
as president, is his intention. He also will not, I'm told,
endorse Vice President Harris as his successor. There's a lot here, so let's
just slow him down. Let's slowhim down. He will announce as early
as Sunday. The speech has beenwritten for him. He's agreed to step
down. He will not endorse KamalaHarris. So what happens next more from
(17:06):
Mark cappern and what he's laid outis what we've talked about for a long
time now, so none of thisshould come as a surprise. The Plan
B team waiting in the wings. That's why you've seen them all chomping at
the bit. That's why you sawthe oddly timed worst selling book released by
Big Wretch, in fact, thebook of the same name. It's it's
(17:30):
going to be interesting because she's doesn'tlook like she's had a very good performance
there anyway, but the selling ofher book. But you and I both
know this whole thing went about sellingbooks, is about getting her name out
there and upping her well, hervisibility across the country with most people who
(17:55):
have no idea who she is.And that's why she went on all the
show was the you know, theLate Night with Stephen Colbert. She went
on all the you know talk showsof you and all that so people could
get a good eyes on her. That doesn't appear that it went very well
for her. I'm hearing a numberbut look like they care, you know,
(18:17):
uh, I'm hearing a number ofdifferent names tossed around out there,
and some of them you're familiar withsome of them. You you may not.
We may. I mean it's discussedyet. We'll talk about that too.
Coming up. Couldn't break more thismorning. As said, the news
(18:37):
continues to break. Say what itdoes. We have the latest for you.
Check in the latest headlines, newsleather, and traffic together coming out on
nine ten am. Put up.Whether you've supported me in the past or
(19:03):
not, I hope you will supportme in the future because I will bring
back the American dream. That's whatwe're going to do. You don't even
hear about the American dreaman in thewith great humility, I am asking you
to be excited about the future ofour country. Be excited, Be excited,
(19:26):
President Trump. Last night, inthat hour and a half long speeches,
I mentioned clips throughout today throughout theshow this morning, we'll play little
bits and pieces for you so thatyou get it. If if you're just
tuning in this morning, a coupleof big news stories and the headlines.
He made his big acceptance speech lastnight. It was an hour and a
(19:48):
half. He officially accepted the nominationthere at the convention in Milwaukee, and
he is now officially the guy majorUS Airlines this morning, including American,
Delta, United grounding all flights. You may want to check with your airline.
If you're headed to the airport, you may want to check on flight
situations. Reports a nine to oneone outage in multiple US states as well.
(20:14):
There is an attack or a globaloutage. I would say I'm probably
I'm probably editorializing with this attack issue, but I'm sure eventually that's what we're
here. It's a widespread Microsoft outage. They're saying that affects Microsoft three sixty
(20:34):
five apps and services, and thatis what many, if not all,
businesses use a lot of stuff weuse really works on that that software as
well. So that's all happening thismorning, plus the big news that we
got yesterday. Biden is, accordingto reports on his way outmultiple Democratic sources,
(21:00):
this is happening all of a sudden. Everyone said it would happen gradually
and then all at once, andthat's what's happening. According to my sources,
President Biden has agreed to step downas a Democratic nominee. May what
happen as early as this weekend.A speech has been drafted for him.
He will continue on as president,is his intention. He also will not
I'm told endorse Vice President Harris asa successor. They're hoping that he will
(21:23):
endorse an open process in which theconvention will be open to Vice President Harris
and a few other candidates in Chicagoto pick the Republican the Democrat nominee for
president. Who are those candidates? So he is going to step down?
The speech is already written. Nowwhen I say this, it's not stepped
(21:45):
down as president, just step downas the candidate. What I would say
is, why, what do youmean he's going to step step down just
because he's unpopular. Well, yourealize that whoever you put up and I
guess the attempt here is what wetold you. Plan b is all about
(22:08):
from the beginning, is to makeyou think a fresh face will solve all
the problems. But it's not justBiden. Yes, he's a bumbling,
fumbling old man who can barely putone foot in front of the other.
He can barely string a sentence togetherat times. He doesn't even remember who
or where he is most times.Right, we get that, But he's
(22:30):
not the issue here. The reasonwhat we're seeing happening in this country isn't
just Biden. It's failed progressive Democratpolicies like DEI, like open borders.
Their ideology, it's their theology. This is how they believe, it's what
(22:52):
their worldview is is all based on. This is how they see everything in
the world. And this is infact, what is causing everything, all
the chaos, all of the insanity, is their warped worldview and their politics.
Essentially Biden inflation, crime, nationalsecurity, risk, the issues even
(23:21):
with the Secret Service that we're seeingdue to DEI, diversity, equity inclusion,
it looks at least it looks likepeople that are unqualified to serve in
the positions that they're serving in.And of course the focus not on results
and metrics, but the focus onequity, feeling good about what we're doing.
(23:42):
Feelings can get you killed. Infact, President Trump came very close
to that. It's bigger than him, and it's bigger than just that event.
We're talking about the country dangling bya threat at this moment. But
this is exactly what Jijingping, thepresident of China, This is exactly what
(24:02):
Vladimir putin. Anybody else who whoyou know Iran, who once wishes the
country hard, yeah, any oneof them. This is what they're they're
after. They love it. Theylove the fact that we're into DEI and
all this other stuff. They absolutelylove it because it is a way to
even the plane fill. Its away to take down the giant. And
(24:26):
that's what they're doing right now.All right, So you've got the process.
It's going to play out, theysay in the convention, that'll happen
in August. Now they've actually pushedit back. The latest we saw yesterday
Obama had come out and it wasn'thim personally, it was people that are
close to Obama. That's how theydo this, that's how they leak some
(24:47):
of these things, people close toObama. He gave the signal that it
was now official and okay to saythat he's stepping aside and that's that.
So now he will retire permanently tohis basement. I guess after this term,
and I would be surprised. I'dbe surprised to see if if something
(25:15):
else doesn't, it doesn't happen.I'm I'm I'm just not confident that he's
going to make it. Well,we knew that he wouldn't make it to
November. When it came to thatthe election, we just knew that the
writing's on the wall. Anybody who'sconnected with truth, logic, common sense,
and that tends to be conservative talkradio listeners. If you're watching MSDNC
(25:41):
and the hair dye from Joy Read'slatest due is seeping into her brain.
I mean, she thinks that Trumpand his team staged theatrically the assassination attempt.
She may well have a word withSecret Service director who's in it right
now by the way out to testifyMonday in front of the House Oversight Committee.
(26:03):
We'll have the latest details on thatcoming up as well, and she
ought to, but she's trying topush this story that didn't happen, and
of course that if Trump really washurt, that it wasn't from a bullet
in his ear, it was shardsof glass from a teleprompter, as if
that makes it any better. Thesepeople are fully disconnected from truth, logic,
(26:30):
common sense, and reality. Butfolks who listen to this program,
this radio station, talk radio ingeneral, tend to be much more well
educated, much more well informed, and they're in the know, so they've
known that you have seen this coming. We've talked about Plan B in the
Plan B team for a while nowwho's on the team. Well, the
(26:55):
Wolverine Cream Queen, Gruesome, Gretchen, excuse me, Gretchen Wimer got gruesome
gavenusom out of California, the People'sRepublic of Camifournia. I call him the
American Cycle because it reminds me ofChristian Bale from the movie American Psycho at
that moment in time where he's inthe movie. He's got the poncho on,
he's got his axe, and he'sgot ready to cut that guy out
(27:15):
and kill him. And he's playingHuey Lewis songs on the on the radio,
talking about how he celebrates the entirecatalog. He looks just like the
guy Gavin newsm and his record's verysimilar. When it comes to covid U,
Michelle Obama, the dark Horse iskind of waiting in the wings,
says she doesn't want it, butI wonder if she'd take it, if
(27:38):
she just, you know, feltlike she had no choice. But I
just you know, I don't wantthis. I just reluctantly, I reluctantly
agreed to serve just to get thecountry through this tough and tumultuous time.
I'll do it for democracy. She'llsay, Uh, there's a couple other
(28:03):
folks out there as well. Ifif it's Kamala, who they are are
are tending now to realize that they'restuck because there's a there's a really there's
so many different elements within the partyright now, different factions and have different
ideas about the way they ought togo. But if it is Kamala,
they're now talking run of mates.Who would the running mate be? Whitmer
(28:26):
is in that conversation for a runningmate, Andy Basher out of governor,
out of Kentucky, another name.We're here and there's a few there's a
few of these people that that arethat are on that list, and that
conversation will happen. Why why Kamala, Well, even though she was the
only one less like less popular thanBiden. Uh, they can't step over
(28:49):
there. The theology just won't won'tallow for it. Now, I I
I get that, I get that'stheir rule. But they they make rules
to break them. They've been realityevery day. So it is entirely possible
that they would step over her,and they would allow this process to play
(29:10):
out here that would make that possiblefor her to be stepped over now there's
a gonna go a whole another problemhere, which is and I think you
might ask that question to well,I thought these guys are the ones that
were the party trying to protect democracy, and Trump was the one that wanted
to Well, the people have spoken, and they voted for Biden, and
they did all this just like theydid super delicate policy. The way they
(29:33):
ran all that through to keep Berniefrom being the nominee back in twenty sixteen.
They stole it from him with HillaryClinton. By the way, Biden's
team is starting to push back nowthey're mentioning twenty sixteen and Hillary Clinton and
how bad that win. I'll findthe statement for you. It's really interesting.
There are people that are inside theBiden team pushing back on all of
(29:56):
this, so that'll be interesting tosee more from Newsmax here. The belief
is that Vice President Harris is alreadylooking at potential running mates to go to
Chicago with a full ticket, includingone possibility, Andy Basheer, the governor
of Kentucky, and perhaps the governorof Pennsylvania, Governor Shapiro. Other possible
candidates who are being talked about includeGavin Newsom, the governor of California,
(30:19):
perhaps Gretchen Whitmere, and again thevice president running on the first ballot,
the regular delegates would be allowed tovote. Under this agreement that's being talked
about amongst the President and high levelDemocrat officials, the regular delegates would vote
on the first ballot. If thereis no winner in the first ballot,
the so called super delegates would beallowed to vote on the subsequent ballot.
(30:40):
This decision was reached, I'm told, all of a sudden because of the
high level pressure from Nancy Pelosi,Barack Obama and others, and as well
as the decision of many of thePresident Biden's top aids that there was no
path forward for him, that hewould not be able to win this election,
win the general election. They're freakingout. Translation, folks, they're
freaking out. By the way, just so you realize, Trump said it.
(31:03):
He said it last night, andI'm not supposed to be here,
And that's true. He was neversupposed to survive last Saturday. I just
want you to think about where weare right now versus where we would be
if things went a different way lastSaturday. It is it's hard to think
(31:27):
about. It's sobering. That's whateverything every day in this world is hanging
by a threat. I don't thinkwe realize that we have the privilege,
we have the luxury of being ableto tune a lot of it out,
and just how dark and how sinisterthings could get, and how quickly they
(31:49):
could go that way. I thinkit is only by the hand of God
that we are protected, as wesaw on Saturday, At any moment in
this country, it's because this countryis well, it has had a divine
covenant and appears to still have thatcovering, that protection over it, particularly
(32:15):
the events on Saturday that they justremind me of. There's just no way
around it. What we saw, what we witnessed. There was no shortage
of a shortage of a miss amiracle, really really nothing short of that.
The President talked a little bit moreabout that, President Trump last night
in a speech. More clips throughoutthe show this morning from the ninety minutes
(32:37):
that he spent on that stage anda lot of wild parts of it.
Kid Rock making appearance last night, than know why, hul Cogan and you
know what, I forgot this nameand he's kind of getting buried in all
of it. Tucker Tucker Carlson witha big speech last night as well.
(32:57):
Law on this story. We're keepingour eye on the Microsoft outage is causing
issues throughout the tech world, roundingflights, nine call centers and more throughout
the country. We'll have the latestit this morning as well. Let's check
in with the headlines around the stateand beyond from the Midwestern or the Midwestern
or news back next after this nineten. Al all right, more from
(33:38):
the plot behind the scenes, isthings thicken and Biden on his way out.
That's at least the story this morning. I will talk about this with
the folks in Midwestern or the founder, Colin Ols, and he'll join us
a little bit after seven this morningfor the conversation before aside again as early
as this weekend. They're saying Bidengonna step aside as early as Sunday.
(34:00):
Speech already written. He's agreed todo so, and he'll stay in.
He's gonna stay in as president ofthe United States. But he's he's gonna
I don't know how do they spinit. What do they say, I'm
so unpopular? Does he say, well, my health? It just did?
It just become massively clear to methat my health. You know,
(34:22):
just yesterday we had the story thathe said, you know, if my
health isn't good, I could Icould probably step asides his health. Well,
if his health isn't good, nowshould he step up step beside as
the president? Now? It's it'sgonna be interesting. And if it does
end up being that Kamala is theone who is anointed, and that's why
(34:43):
they're going through this process, theywant to sort of avoid that. Look.
But she's crowned at democratic coronation,i mean convention on in August.
Is it possible that in order tojuice her numbers, that they would have
Biden step down at some point asthe current president, then have her,
(35:07):
obviously as the vice president, becomethe first female president and uh, you
know, history making they love theylove this and making history. Then that
would they would hope juice her numbers. And folks, we haven't even gotten
to the part of the script herewhere they throw Trump in jail. I
know, everything's up and glorious todayand he survived the attack. You say,
(35:32):
there's no way they could do wellthat that judge in New York.
I'm telling you, at this point, all bets are off jail or house
arrest. Uh, they're gonna doeverything they can, although they want to
be careful to make sure that doesn'tmake it look like they're gonna you know,
they're they're trying to too hard atleast to rig it. I mean
(35:53):
they are, but it's obvious. It's clear they do anything and by lay
and we're in that stage with theircornered animal backed into a payment, into
a corner, and by their ownmaking here they do everything they can to
keep him from winning. So Mark, you know, what are the political
ramifications for a party that based muchof their platform on diversity, equity,
(36:15):
and inclusion. And they're passing rightover Kamala Harris. And he's not going
to be endorsing her, according toyour sources. According to my sources,
he will say very nice things abouther. They do not want what some
of my sources have been calling aKamala coronation. That the problem, in
part that they found themselves in wasthat President Biden was not seriously challenged for
the nomination. I'm told by someof her people. I don't know the
(36:37):
devices fault thinks this, but someof her people believe she will win this,
that she'll choose a strong running mate, that she does have the support
of many of the delegates who areBiden Harris delegates, and that she can
win this basically on her own.And at least one of her allies said
to me, this is better, better to not be anointed by Joe Biden,
better show independence, better to showwith a strong ticket, to capacity
(36:59):
to win the nomine well Mark thatsaid, though, I mean, you're
very familiar with campaign finance laws hehas. You know we're gonna save that.
That's a whole nother question about whatdo I do with all that money
they've raised. By the way, just your judge Janine, talk about in
Wisconsin they can't get on the battleOh just wait, just waiting, all
this talk about what's legal and allthis sudden I mean, don't forget twenty
(37:22):
twenty they changed all the laws herein Michigan just to get a biding across
the fish line headlines coming up topof the hour and back with you and
just about what's right here on nineten am, the Choice News talk superstation.
(37:54):
President for all of American, nothalf of America, because there is
no victory in winning for half ofAmerica. So tonight with faith and devotion.
I proudly accept your nomination for Presidentof the United States. II you,
(38:21):
so it's officially official. President Trumpwith the official acceptance speech last night,
an hour and a half. KyleOlsen from The Midwestern The Midwesterner dot
News. I guess you get tospeak an hour and a half as long
as you want. Really, afterbeing shot the Saturday before and that failed
assassination attempt, it's not even aweek later, and obviously he's there in
(38:45):
Milwaukee, gives this amazing speech aftera week of a convention like anything else
I've ever seen. And now he'llbe headed to Michigan this weekend and Grand
Rapids for his first rally since thelast in Butler County, Pennsylvania. Kyle,
welcome in. Appreciate you taking thetime to be here with us today.
(39:06):
To say this last week has beenlike drinking from a fire hose in
the news cycle would be an understatementbeyond any I've ever made before. I
don't know how to put it intoterms even of what we've heard of the
last twenty four hours. We're goingto try and do that today. Appreciate
you taking the time. Yeah,I'm happy to and of course I mean
(39:27):
that the news is not over. There's speculation that Joe Biden may be you're
dropping out of the campaign, whichis the reporting appears to be mixed on
this. You've got the campaign. What's strange to me about this is that
you've got campaign sources that are goingto their sources on Twitter and saying,
you know, the staff is veryupset about this. This is not his
(39:51):
intention. You know, these otheranonymous people are trying to force him out,
and there's a lot of people sayingit's Obama. And so it seems
like this week it's it's now Friday, but it seems like this week is
far from over. Well, that'sthe thing. And even in yesterday,
you know, we have this storyI said, Biden said like, hey,
(40:13):
if I if I've got a medicalissue, he told somebody in an
interview, if I got a medicalissue, I'd probably step down. That's
that's what I do, right,And then hours later we find out he's
got COVID, so he has tonot do his speech in Nevada. And
then uh, we just all thought, Okay, he's going to retire to
(40:35):
that basement. They'll they'll quarantine himand tell November, which I thought was
funny. Patriot postgirl Heather dow Overon Twitter had the ax had that great
image of Gretchen Whitber quarantining Biden.Tell November down in the basics. In
fact, I think she's got himin an old folks on, which is
(40:55):
not good news for him because weknow what happens in Whitmer's nursing homes.
This is wild and as you mentioned, we're just kind of getting the behind
the scenes on this. Yeah, they say Sunday he'll give this a speech.
If he does, let's just walkthis out, because I'm not convinced
(41:16):
that that's going to happen, andparticularly the timel on, I think there's
still a lot of uncertainty, infectionsfighting. There was a statement from Biden's
people who kind of came out andsaid that you know, here we go
again. They tried this in twentysixteen. These elite power brokers, donor
class et cetera. These are thepeople that thought Hillary Clinton could win in
twenty sixteen, and they were wrongthen and they're wrong today. So that's
(41:39):
also those are the answers coming outof the Biden folks. So break this
down. What does he say,why does he says he's getting out of
the race. What could possibly behis excuse if this comes around on Sunday
and he does decide he's going topull out of the race again, He's
(42:00):
going to remain as president, butpull out of the race. What could
that possibly be for that? Well, that's that's the question, because you
would think that it's got to besomething extremely significant. Otherwise it's going to
look like just a you know,a baldly partisan political move to say,
(42:23):
okay, the Republicans have the candidate. Now, now he's going to just
you know, Biden is just goingto drop out and he's going to go,
right, I can't win. Familyis going to be happy exactly that
I can't win. That's why I'mgetting out. Is that what he thinks?
Well, I know, I don'tthink he thinks that. I think
(42:45):
the people who think that they're smarterthan everybody else, that's what they think.
And so because you've got two issueshere. You've got the political issue,
which, of course, you know, I think the average person will
look at that and say, well, that's you know, pretty rotten.
But do you've got their delegate andtheir convention issue? Because the what these
(43:07):
anonymous sources were saying, is thathe is going to drop out and he's
not going to endorse Kabla. He'sgoing to endorse an open convention primary basically,
So what what were they calling ita short primary or whatever they were
calling it. So you've got thepolitical issue, but then you've got the
(43:28):
legal issue because there's a lot ofstates that the deadline has passed put to
the Democrat candidate on the ballot, and so it's not a matter of just
what the name off the ballot.I get it, and I understand,
but you know, you don't thinkthey're above that process. I mean they
the Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson herein Michigan during twenty twenty through the entire
(43:52):
rule book, all the laws outthe window and went a separate way.
Think that's secure to Biden. Thathelps secure Biden victory in twenty twenty by
telling people things like why you don'thave to inspect the signatures on absentee ballots.
I know that we're going to haveall these mail and massive amounts of
mail in ballots coming in. Youdon't have to check all the verified dot
(44:15):
theis, cross, the ts andall that. And she broke the law.
Judge just said that multiple times, and yet she still continues to try
to do that. I know they'regoing to be lawsuits and they'm going to
fight it out. But these arepeople who are backed into a corner.
You think they're going to let somethinglike the law stand in their way from
well powerful. Fortunately, fortunately,as of this moment, elections are a
(44:38):
state by state issue, and notevery secretary of state is as rogue and
undisciplined, maybe as Jocelyn Benson andthey and there are secretaries of state around
the country that actually follow their lawsand don't decide to just change the rules
(45:00):
because they think it's going to helptheir side. You know. The us
to the reason is why this hashappened. I want to get into more
of the maschinations of who, what, when where? All the rest of
that coming up in a second. But this is from MSD and C.
You could it's so quiet you couldhear a pin drop with this stat that
that dude, Rachel Maddow the quotedlast night, if there's a poll out
(45:22):
to the poll of African American womenshowing a thirty one point drop in support
from twenty twenty twenty twenty to twentytwenty four in terms of plans to vote
for President Biden. It was likea funeral in there. Joy Reid circle
backsake and that dude, Rachel Maddow. A thirty one point drop amongst African
(45:43):
American women. That's their bread andbutter. They don't they don't like Biden.
They're not going to vote for them. That's that's why you're seeing what
you're seeing. I mean, let'slet's be real here, well and think
about if they do have this openprimary and they don't just you know,
Everin doesn't just turn to Kamala andsay, Okay, it's your turn.
(46:06):
Think about you know what that isgoing to look like if you have the
first because let's play there the Democrats, it's chaos, you know politics for
a minute. If they don't elevatethe first black female vice president to become
the nominee and they allow a whitemale life and Andy Basher from Kentucky or
(46:30):
a Gavin Newsom from California and theyallow one of those white men to step
up or yeah, there's my guess, is that thirty one point drop is
going to increase? It was,it's it's sheer chaos. And by the
way, we know that they've alwayshad the Plan B team and the works.
We know they've had different people, and you just named a few of
(46:51):
them. Uh. And and bythe way, I've heard all of these
names, including Michelle Obama and look, a lot of this stuff I just
look at shrug my shoulders. Maybe, but at this point I can't.
I don't think we can rule anythingout because they're desperate, and I think
the truth is the timing on thiseverything that I could see to see their
scram because if you were going topull this off, you should have pulled
(47:15):
it off earlier. Biden. Andwhoever's pulling the strings, like probably doctor
Jill and Hunter because he's the newchief of staff, right, So the
crackhead pulling the strings now doesn't wantto go and they're saying, no,
we're not gonna do this. Butthe way to have done it, if
you wanted to do it and getit done and have a more smooth transition,
would clearly have been for Biden tosome point say I've got medical issues.
(47:39):
I'm gonna step aside. Clearly mycognitive things. I'd love to continue
serving this country, but it's nowtime for me to go be with my
family. You know, that's thatstandard speech they give. Stepped out not
just from the race, but fromthe presidency at large. And then Kamala
then becomes president. As she becomespresident, and then you are able to
(48:01):
smoothly take over and allow the machineto roll and do what it's going to
do. And and I think thatwould be more widely accepted by the voters.
The problem they have, and they'vealways had it, is that Biden's
unpopular and she's the only one that'sless popular than he is. She was
the insurance policy. They're really ina pickle here. That's the situation that
(48:22):
we're in. And clear from thebeginning, do you see this working itself
out in any way? I mean, is there any way this works it
out for them or are they justdoomed to failure here? Well, there's
there's a lot of there's a lotof speculation going on, and really what
(48:43):
the scenario you're describing that should havetaken place a year ago, and they
should have been upfront with everyone, particularly their primary voters, the you know,
the hardcore Democrats. They should havebeen upfront with them and said he's
got issues, he's not going torun. Let's have a real primary and
(49:06):
do it the right way. Instead, they tried to hide it. They
tried to tell everyone who is lookingjust watching, you know the videos that
are on Twitter and saying something isnot something is going on here. And
go back to when they had thethe fundraiser, I think it was in
LA when you had Clinton and Obamaand Biden, and Clinton and Obama helped
(49:31):
to lead Biden off the stage, and there was a very clear video of
that was going on. And andwhat did they do. They put out
a different video that suddenly cut througha different camera when that happened, and
they tried to tell us Aul,oh no, no, that didn't happen.
And they're trying to confuse people, and they're trying they were trying to
(49:53):
just slide Biden through the convention andget him into the White House and then
who would know what would happen overthe next four years. That's what they
tried to do, and that's whatthey chose to take the same people that
are now trying to tell us thatthere wasn't really an assassination attempt on the
President Trump's life and what we sawwasn't really what we saw, and I
think people are starting to I guessthat's my hope anyway, that people are
(50:15):
starting to see how blatant and justutterly disrespectful their lives are about all of
these things. All right, Sothese are the things that we haven't even
got a chance to barely scratch thesurface on some of the things that are
happening in Michigan. I know weusually do that the Midwestern or the Midwesterner
dot News. I'll just leave itat this last comment from Collos and the
(50:37):
founder there, Whitmer's Michigan residents arethe most financially distressed people in the country.
A new study finds this will beplaying a big role in the election,
with the economy of this the waythat people are feeling the pinch every
turn, particularly in the auto industry. Everything that Biden and Whitmer have done
(50:57):
together, again, if they getrid of that's okay, that just changes
the face on the problem. Theproblem is still there. Democrats, the
progressive left, they're the ones responsiblefor all of the issues you're seeing,
the open borders, the inflation, the economy, the crime, on national
security concerns, the DEI that's causedissues even at the secret Service level,
(51:22):
who if anyone, anyone is safenow because of these reckless policies. Again,
you can put lipstick on a pig, and she's an expert at that.
But it doesn't matter whether you replacethese things with Whitmer or your place,
Biden with the Newsom or anybody else, We're still going to have the
same old, same old, andthat is bad news for everyone. Yeah,
(51:45):
and the speculation is that if itis Kamala, Whitmer is at the
top of her running mate list,So it's very possible in the next few
days we're going to see Kamala Whitmerrunning for president and vice president. And
so what we at the Midwestern hadbeen trying to do is we're doing this
(52:06):
series called Whitmer's Michigan where we're lookingat the data, we're looking at the
statistics, and showing people this iswhat she's done to our state. So
if you like what she's done toour state, if you like the fact
that Michigan is the most financially distressedstate in the country, if you like
the fact that our education system hasgone from twenty six to thirty one,
(52:28):
if you like the fact that ourroads are demonstrably worse in poorer conditions than
when she took office, even thoughher whole campaign was based on that premise
of fixing the roads. Then you'regoing to love what she'll do to America.
And so we're doing this series. We're showing people what she wants to,
(52:50):
what she has done to our state, what she would try to do
to our country, because here nowshe's doing this book to her She was
in New York, she was inSanta San Francisco, LA. She's not
in Michigan. She's moving on.Democrats and Lansing are unhappy about this.
None of them have been nuts tostay it out loud. She's moved down
from Michigan and people need to knowthat. Kyle. Also the Midwestern the
(53:13):
Midwesterner dot News don't just bookmarket signup do that too, but sign up
for updates so you stay on topof these stories and more. They're doing
great work. Kyle. Thank you, my friend. Have a great weekend.
Thank you. May it be farless eventful than the previous although the
time and the day and h whereand I just don't know President Trump in
(53:34):
town in the state in Michigan thisweekend Grand Rapids and we'll have updates from
that visit as well more coming upafter this chugging up to bed Shuthering Troitz
New's Talk Superstation is nine ten am. Check in the latest trumb the Midwesterner.
(53:54):
Right now, I'll take you backto the Justin Show. You can't
make this stuff up Right here onnine ten am Detroit's News Talk Superstation.
I don't want to hear from youtoday. On a free for all Friday.
What did you think of President Trump'sspeech last night? Ninety minutes of
(54:16):
it, an hour and a half. Really some interesting points and parts of
it. It just hit on allcylinders in a different ways at different moments.
Two four eight eight hundred Talk tonumber two four eight eight hundred eight
two fivey five sound off at JustinBarclay b A R clay dot com.
(54:36):
Justin Barclay dot conflict. That soundoff button, that little red button says,
start recording and your message will comeright to us. The Republican Party,
after one week van is still theParty of Fun and the Party of
Democracy is down the street plotting apolitical coup to get the sitting president of
the United States. There's a That'swhat I point from CNN's Republican analysts there.
(54:58):
I don't remember, but he's hadsome mo it's in the last week
or so that would just right, just spot on, just spot on solids.
So there you have it. Youknow, this right here is the
greatest picture an example you can have. They have a convention like I've never
(55:22):
seen before, Republicans the RNC conventionlike I've never seen before. It's just
on another level. The unity thereon another level. And he said,
down the street, you've got Democratswho are planning a coup on the sitting
president. The only thing I wouldadd to that is they're planning another coup
(55:44):
on another sitting president. That's probablythe only thing I would add. That's
the business there. In part ofthe speech from last night was a president
has not talked about that assassination attemptjust yet. He says, this is
the last time they'll do it,the only and last time. Just too
painful to talk about, he said. So you're gonna hear some of that
(56:06):
coming up, as well as thestory that we're following very closely this morning,
the story about the widespread tech outageswe're seeing disrupting flights, banks,
media outlets, companies around the world. It's a Microsoft outage. They're saying
they're do an update, They're tryingto fix the glitch, but flights stuck
(56:28):
all over. Updates on that comingup after this news Weather traffic together bottom
the hour back next on nine tenam. And I'm not saying that maybe
the biggest outage in the history ofoutages. They're also claiming it's not an
attack or a hacker anything like that, but CrowdStrike at the center of this
(56:51):
Microsoft issue, causing flight to becanceled more throughout the country right now.
What we're hearing here in mcnamare Terminalis that all of the flights are grounded,
going are coming. What they aresaying is that they are completely shut
down. This is the line thatyou see which goes all the way back
to the international side of McNamara Terminal. Doesn't a surreal site, nothing that
(57:12):
I really see like this. OnJanuary nineteenth, something like the day before
Thanksgiving. This line is the baggagecheck in line. There's only one line
available for that. You can seethese boards which would normally show arrivals and
departures. Some of those boards arestill not working, so it is just
an absolute manhouse here at DTW.DTW's McNamara terminal. There's a Channel seven
(57:32):
report and uh, well, Ican't. It's because it's not just flights.
It's nine to one one in someareas. It's all kind of it's
it and it's this crowd strike isin all sorts of all sorts of uh
different, it does it, it'sit's government, it's all kinds of things
(57:54):
that you're just you're not gonna you'regonna have a real pro problem with if
in fact things go down. Andthat's that's what we're seeing right now.
And of course we've sound like there'sanything new. We've we've known that these
things can happen, whether they're intentionaland it's an attack, or it is
just the fact that the thing isit's gone down, or is it update
(58:17):
and a mistake and negligence or whateverit might be. These are always,
uh these are always issues. We'vegot to be prepared for them, their
vulnerabilities and they're the Unfortunately, thereare issues that we're going to have to
deal with and content with. That'sthe latest. Will keep you up to
date with it. But you know, whoever becomes president, this would be
(58:40):
a I think I would I wouldtake a look at this as a platform
to make sure that we're doing thingsto incentivize people as much as we can,
to make sure that we've got thisstuff on lockdown. And of course
it is a matter of national security. There are a lot of things that
we need to take a look atfrom a national perspective as well. President
Trump last night one of the thingsdre the hour and a half long speech.
(59:05):
As we've been playing clips for youthroughout the day, there's so many
different clips to get I can't getto everything, but we tried to do
highlights. A wh'll called get DaleWhite, Kid Rock All on stage last
night and Tucker, so I gotto get There's parts of the Tucker speech
that are really good too that I'vegot to get to. But this is
President Trump last night. Here heis talking about the thing that we've all
(59:28):
well, we've all wondered about. He's telling the story about how he almost
lost his life and it just millimetersseparated him, the miraculous moment from death.
He almost met his maker. AndI think, you know, I've
noticed some differences this week, andI don't know about you, but I've
seen some I think he's I don'tknow how you could come that close to
meeting your maker and not be changed. I think you're witnessing history here.
(59:52):
Less than a week ago he wasjust as I mentioned, maybe a quarter
inch from death. To day,he's giving one of the most powerful speeches
in the history of his career.A new man, some folks say,
and it could be. Begin thisevening by expressing my gratitude to the American
(01:00:14):
people for your outpouring of love andsupport following the assassination attempt at my rally
on Saturday. I know, asyou already know, the assassin's bullet came
within a quarter of an inch oftaking my life. So many people have
(01:00:37):
asked me what happened. Tell uswhat happened, please, And therefore I
will tell you exactly what happened, and you'll never hear it from me a
second time, because it's actually toopainful to tell. It was a warm,
beautiful day in the early in ButlerTownship in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
(01:01:08):
Music was loudly playing and the campaignwas doing really well. I went
to the stage and the crowd wascheering wildly. Everybody was happy. I
began speaking very strongly powerfully and happilybecause I was discussing the great job by
(01:01:32):
administration did on immigration at the southernborder. We were very proud of it.
Behind me and to the right wasa large screen that was displaying a
chart of border crossings under my leadership. The numbers were absolutely amazing. In
(01:02:00):
order to see the chart, Istarted to like this, turned to my
right and was ready to begin alittle bit further turn, which I'm very
lucky I didn't do. When Iheard a loud whizzing sound and felt something
(01:02:23):
hit me really really hard on myright ear. I said to myself,
wow, what was that? Itcan only be a bullet and moved my
right hand to my ear brought itdown. My hand was covered with blood,
(01:02:45):
just absolutely blood all over the place. I immediately knew it was very
serious that we were under attack, and in one movement, proceeded to drop
to the ground. Bullets were continuingto fly as very brave Secret Service agents
(01:03:07):
rushed to the stage, and theyreally did. They rushed to the start.
Those are great people at great risk, I will tell you, and
pounced on top of me so thatI would be protected. There was blood
(01:03:32):
pouring everywhere, and yet in acertain way. I felt very safe because
I had God on my side.I felt that. The amazing thing is
(01:03:58):
that prior to the ship, ifI had not moved my head at that
very last instant, the assassin's bulletwould have perfectly hit its mark, and
I would not be here tonight. We would not be together. The most
incredible aspect of what took place onthat terrible evening in the fading sun was
(01:04:24):
actually seen later. In almost allcases, as you probably know, and
when even a single bullet is fired, just a single bullet, and we
had many bullets that were being fired, crowds run for the exits or stampede,
but not in this case. It'svery unusual. This massive crowd of
(01:04:53):
tens of thousands of people stood byand didn't move an inch. In fact,
many of them bravely but automatically stoodup looking for where the sniper would
be. They knew immediately it wasa sniper and then began pointing at him.
You can see that if you lookat the group behind me, that
was just a small group compared towhat was in front. Nobody ran,
(01:05:17):
and by not stampeding, many liveswere saved. But that isn't the reason
that they didn't move. The reasonis that they knew I was in very
serious trouble. They saw it.They saw me go down, They saw
the blood and thought, actually mostdid that I was dead. They knew
(01:05:44):
it was a shot to the head. They saw the blood. And there's
an interesting statistic. The ears orthe bliotiest part. If something happens with
the years, they bleed more thanany other part of the body. For
whatever reason. The doctors told methat said, why is this so much
blood? He said, it's theyears they bleed more. So we learned
something. But they just they justthis beautiful crowd. They didn't want to
(01:06:13):
leave me. They knew I wasin trouble. They didn't want to leave
me. And you can see thatlove written all over their faces. Incredible
people. They're incredible people. Bulletswere flying over us, yet I felt
serene. But now the Secret Serviceagents were putting themselves in peril. They
(01:06:35):
were in very dangerous territory. Bulletswere flying right over, missing them by
a very small amount of inches. And then it all stopped. Our secret
sniper from a much greater distance, and with only one bullet used, took
(01:06:59):
the assassin's life. Took him out. I'm not supposed to be here tonight,
not supposed to be here, thankyou, But I'm not. And
(01:07:36):
I'll tell you I stand before youin this arena only by the grace of
Almighty God. And watching the reportsover the last few days, many people
(01:08:00):
say it was a providential moment.Probably was. When I rose surrounded by
Secret Service. The crowd was confusedbecause they thought I was dead, and
there was great, great sorrow.I could see that on their faces as
I looked out. They didn't knowI was looking at They thought it was
over, but I could see it. I wanted to do something to let
(01:08:26):
them know I was okay. Iraised my right arm, looked at the
thousands and thousands of people that werebreathlessly waiting, and started shouting fight,
fight, fight. Rank. Oncemy clenched fist went up and it was
(01:08:56):
high into the air. You've allseen that, the crowd realized I was
okay and roared with pride for ourcountry like no crowd I have ever heard
before, never heard anything like him. For the rest of my life,
(01:09:18):
I will be grateful for the loveshown by that giant audience of patriots that
stood bravely on that faithful evening inPennsylvania. What a fantastic moment in the
speech. An hour and a halfof it, and as I said,
(01:09:39):
I've been playing parts of it throughoutthe day, but that's one part that
I felt had to be played andshould be uninterrupted. More on that.
The story we're talking about today isBiden back and out, back and down
while he's being pushed out, itseems, and the story continued. The
(01:10:03):
drum beat for him to go isunderway, and they say maybe as soon
as Sunday he'll make that announcement. We'll have the latest, the latest on
the outage that's causing chaos in thecyber world throughout the country and in fact
aromic globe. Today we'll have itall for it and the latest impacts here
(01:10:25):
at home. After this Detroit's NewsTalk Superstation nine today, I'm back next
Now back to the Justin Barkley Showon AM Detroit's News Talk superstation child Scream.
(01:11:19):
I mean this, this convention wasunlike anything else I've ever seen,
and it was filled with just masterfulmoments, fantastic entertainment, but also very
very real, very authentic moments attimes that were breathtaking you just heard the
president's speech that talk about about theincident he attempted sassination attempt on his life
(01:11:50):
last Saturday. You've you've heard seenother pieces of this. Uh, they're
just people are I gotta tell you, this reaction has been really interesting to
see. I think most people towatch you probably really kind of floored by
it. Democrats not so much.Fact, there's some interesting reaction. I
(01:12:13):
gotta get him from MSD ANDC comingup in a second. First, a
little bit of Tucker, because wehaven't got a chance of playing a Tucker
yet. This is Tucker Carlson ina speech he gave about ten minutes speech.
We'll put all this stuff up onthe stack by the way at Justin
barclay dot com. The entire point, from the famous escalator ride nine years
ago until today of Donald Trump's publiclife has been to remind us of one
(01:12:38):
fact, which is a leader's dutyis to his people, to his country,
and to no other. That's thepoint. That's the only point.
And another word for this is democracy. Democracy in case you're a little sick
of being beaten in the face withdemocracy on television. Actual democracy is the
(01:12:58):
proposition that the citizens of a countryown that country. They're not renters,
they're not serfs, they're not slaves. They are the owners of the country.
And for that to be true, their leaders have to represent them.
What's another way of saying, theyhave to do what the people want them
to do, or a close approximationthereof. But if they completely ignore what
(01:13:21):
people want, not just one year, but generationally, say, for fifty
years, then it may be Idon't know what, it's not a democracy.
And so I think the entire Trumpproject, paradoxically is attacked as an
enemy of democracy, is to returndemocracy to the United States. Hey,
let's pay attention to what people actuallywant. Isn't that a novel idea?
(01:13:45):
Giving the people what they want andwhat they voted for. You know,
you're seeing right now the opposite,in fact, play out the Democrat Party.
We're getting conflicting reports. I'm hearingnow that there are folks again in
Biden's camp saying he's not going anywhere. But we know that the announcement was
made yesterday that Mark Halprin told theNewsmax that Biden's getting out could be as
(01:14:11):
early as Sunday. Accord to multipleDemocratic sources, this is happening all of
a sudden. Everyone said it wouldhappen gradually and then all at once,
and that's what's happening. According tomy sources, President Biden has agreed to
step down as a Democrat nominee. It may what happens early as this weekend.
A speech has been drafted for him. He will continue on as president,
is his intention. He also willnot, i'm told, endorse Vice
(01:14:33):
President Harris as his successor. They'rehoping that he will endorse an open process
in which the convention will be opento Vice President Harris and a few other
candidates in Chicago depict the Republican theDemocrat nominee for president. The belief is
that Vice Press so there's democracy bythe way, from the Democrats, they
(01:14:54):
are essentially affecting a coup. Theelites, the donors don't think by and
can make it across the finish line. And it's only because President Trump was
never supposed to survive. You knowthat, And I know that this convention,
all of the things that just tookplace to pomp the circumstances, all
of it, and of course theuh, the massive shift, the massive
(01:15:18):
swing that we've seen and pulling andeverything else. You know, because he's
never supposed to be here. I'vebeen saying this for the beginning. You
know that he was never supposed tobe here. He's never supposed to make
it in twenty sixteen, and yethe did. He was never supposed to
survive the Russia Russia, Russia, the impeachments, both of them. He
(01:15:38):
was never supposed to survive the Januarysixth stuff. He was never supposed to
survive any of the trials, anyof the law fair and he was certainly
never supposed to survive what happened lastSaturday. But here we are, and
they have no choice. So they'repulling. Now, they're pulling Biden,
that's the word. Now. I'vealso seen some reports and Biden people saying
(01:15:59):
that's not true, it's not happening. Don't believe anonymous reports. So who
knows. But at least now you'reup to speed. We'll give you the
rest coming up next back after thisas we continue all the updates the latest
of the cyber security issues causing theissues all throughout the country. Airlines having
(01:16:24):
the ground flights of the FLA reportsof nine to one one outages as well
in multiple states all of it more. We'll keep you up to speed after
this. Top of the hour.Detroit's news talk superstation is nine ten a
m. A fantastic convention, onelike I've never seen before. And oh
(01:16:49):
man, we're going to talk moreof the recap the R and C conventions,
some of the moments that you didn'tget a chance maybe to hear or
see just yet. Some of thebiggest of the big those coming up.
The big news this morning about thecyber issues causing flight delays and groundings nine
to one one to be disrupted, those services throughout the country. More all
(01:17:12):
on the way, plus the newsthat Biden could be stepping away, stepping
out, maybe retiring down back intothe basement this time for good, Cara.
Accord to multiple Democratic sources, thisis happening all of a sudden.
Everyone said it would happen gradually andthen all at once, and that's what's
happening. According to my sources,President Biden has agreed to step down as
a Democratic nominee May what happened asearly as this weekend. A speech has
(01:17:33):
been drafted for him. He willcontinue on as president, is his intention.
He also will not, I'm told, endorse Vice President Harris as his
successor. They're hoping that he willendorse an open process in which the convention
will be open to Vice President Harrisand a few other candidates. I'm told
(01:17:53):
this. We're by the way,we're seeing sources inside the Biden campaign saying,
no, I think this is notgoing to happen, is what the
says. Who knows at this point, And by the way, even Mark
kaepern just said that they're hoping thatBiden would endorse this open convintion. But
the difference here, I have tothis is the biggest piece of all of
this. As the news comes out, you see more and more in each
(01:18:16):
day that you know, they justrealize they can't. It's it's that effort
is a no win for that's notgoing to happen. They're scrambling right now.
Tommy Pigott joined us right now, strategic communications director at the RNC,
and the latest I think that thebiggest glaring differences here are between the Republican
(01:18:40):
Party and the unity at the conventionthat we just saw and the Democrats who
have appeared to be at least incomplete chaos right now. Tommy, welcome.
I appreciate you taking the time tobe here with us today say things
setting me on, and I thinkthat contract is so clear you can Democrats
are talking to about I don't knowif you saw Van Jones who talked about
(01:19:01):
the contrast to these conventions, sayingit was strength on the part of President
Trump versus weakness on the part ofJoe Biden, Kamla Harris, unity,
I'm part of the Republican Party versuschaos. I'm part of Democrats. And
the fact that we have an agendaright now that's looking to the future versus
the Democrat Party, which is doublingdown on the exact same policies which have
caused so much harm and destruction forso many million the families around the country.
(01:19:26):
Yeah, it really is eye opening. One of the biggest differences for
me anyway. Watching the convention wasparticularly like, I don't know, I
mean, I liked hearing from jdVance obviously, I mean even today Tucker,
you know, was a great speech, but we barely got to talk
about him with all the other greatthings that were happening. It was all
(01:19:47):
the kind of stuff that happened sortof on the side or the everyday Americans
that spoke that kind of took meby surprise. That was Madeline Breem,
the mother that lost her son tothe violent crime, and he was a
veteran, and of course her speechshe may have been one of the highlights.
There was President Trump's granddaughter and hisreaction to seeing her on stage,
(01:20:10):
Ki Trump. There was the pastorfrom Detroit who spoke actually yesterday. My
name is Pastor Lorenzo School. Ihave the honor in the privilege of being
a senior pastor at won Ady Church, and we were blessed last month to
have President Donald Trump come to Detroit. Mischief, Let's go. Can you
(01:20:38):
imagine it? Can you imagine PresidentDonald Trump coming to a city and calling
a pastor like me, a pastorwho was born and raised on the East
side of Detroit. I was mentoredby murderers. I was a student of
the street. But I had aradical experience with Jesus Christ that changed my
(01:21:01):
life forever come. I don't thinkthat the contrast could be any more clear,
and the positivity, as you justmentioned, there is even a week
after such a dark moment, thatfailed assassination attempt on President Trump's life,
(01:21:23):
Even after such a dark moment, yet there was so much positivity, there
was so much hope, There wasso much excitement at this convention. It's
incredible. I know the President's bringingit to Michigan the tomorrow. In fact,
he'll be in Grand Rapids. AndI just saw we just got a
tweet that came out from the TVaffiliate there and the first person is already
(01:21:47):
in line at the stadium to getin this morning. That's wild. Yeah,
And I think we can't lose satThe fact for the reason why there
is that optivism for America is becauseof President Trump. It's President Trump who
has been leading us out of thismoment, this Haines attack on our country,
this Haines attack that took a lifeand critically injured to others. President
(01:22:09):
Trump has been leading us out ofthat, and there's been telling us that
we can be patriotic about our country, we can be hopeful about the feature
of our country. We all reflectedabout where we were as a country,
where we needed to go, andPresident Trump has been leading us to our
better days to come. That's exactlywhat we need in the President. And
I think you're exactly right to talkabout all the other speakers that came up
(01:22:29):
and spoke. One of the contrastsbetween the Republican Party and the Democrat Party
is that the Republican Party is aparty of everyday Americans. The Republican Party
is about uplifting their voices. Andwhat we saw every single none of this
convention were those everyday Americans that said, we have suffered under Joe Biden's policies
when we didn't have to. Wedidn't have to suffer. These tragedies were
(01:22:50):
preventable. We just need to putthe right policies in place that make sure
that we have a prosperous economy, stay streets, a secure border. We
can do this. We can makeour country better. We can make our
country prosperous and safe. We justneed President Trump back in the White House.
Well, I think folks are excitedabout that. As a think about
(01:23:11):
the prospective turning things around. Asyou mentioned, we focus on the problems,
and they are they do seem tobe quite a few, and if
you focus on them too much, they're insurmountable. But if you focus on
the solutions, you can see thatas a president's done it laid out in
an hour and a half speech thatthere are there are some big answers and
(01:23:31):
solutions to these issues that seem tobe I think very simple. He's a
lay a lot of it out.And you know, the thing that I
guess we're completely missing here again isthat he's done it before. He's got
a track record. We've seen thisover and over again. We know what
things were like for five years ago, whatever it might be, and it's
(01:23:57):
easy. We can go right backthere. And it really all starts with
the President electing him, and ofcourse all the way up and down,
you don't hear in Michigan, Tommy, we've got big races. We've got
a major Senate race here that couldimpact the fate of the Senate. We
could flip things back for Republicans there. We've got congressional races, particularly in
(01:24:18):
the third district where we could takeback that seat from Democrat Hillary Skulton.
There are so many major races TomBarrett in the Melissa Slopkins seat that we
could take back as well. Butthere's also a statewide, county wide,
and it's going to have an impacton the entire ticket. Really most critical
(01:24:42):
election of our lifetime. It reallyis on both those fronts. The first
that President Trump is having major effectson down ballot races as well. Democrats
are conceding that it's one of thereasons why Democrats are calling on Joe Biden
to resign. They should be callingon him to not seek another term just
based off of his results. Butyou can tell how disastrous the folding is
based on the fact that they're actuallydoing it now. And I think the
(01:25:04):
second thing is that you're exactly topoint out that to solve these problems,
we need President Trump back in office, and we also need the House Representatives
to be controlled by Republicans and theSenate to be controlled by Republicans. Because
by sending those reinforcements in the legislativebranch, you can actually accomplish a lot
of those things that you need thelogistive branch to accomplish. You can accomplish
things like making sure that we passadditional tax cuts. You can accomplish all
(01:25:27):
these things that President Trump has promised. And President Trump is shown one thing
he's in he's going to deliver onthe promises that he makes. By sending
him a legislative branch that supports him, you can accomplish those things quicker.
He can deliver on those promises quicker. He can make sure he turns around
this country quicker. It is itis, Uh, well, it's if
(01:25:48):
you look at the things the waythings are in America right now. I
know they can seem like dark days. I know they can seem like tough
times, and I think in alot of ways they are. But you
know what is also I think sopowerful is that these solutions are simple.
(01:26:08):
They are coming all right. SoI've got to ask you. We've talked
about President Trump today, We've talkedabout the convention a bit, and the
unconventional convention, which I think wasamazing. I have to ask you,
what was your favorite moment. Iknow it's tough to try and figure that
out because there were so many greatones, But if you have to pick
one, like from the World WarTwo Vet Madeline Braim to President Trump's speech
(01:26:33):
last night, Jadie Vance Tucker,Hulk Hogan ripping his shirt off in front
of the audience, which was amazing, Which was your favorite of the entire
evening? Well, I think myfavorite was definitely seeing President Trump come out
on that stage, the way thathe entered that arena, the way that
(01:26:55):
he came out on that stage intime for his speech with the big Trump
letters in the background. I thinkthat was really powerful, and I think
his entire speech was really powerful. He laid out that vision, like you
said, the fact that this hasbeen done before, it just needs to
be done again. I think thatwas incredibly powerful. And I think it
also was powerful to hear from EricTrump, who was talking about his perspectives
(01:27:15):
as a son. He was talkingabout his dad, and I think that's
a perspective that's lost so much inthe media coverage of Trump, who just
wants to meet this character short ofhim. That isn't reality, And I
think Eric Trump did a really goodjob of debunking that and saying, this
is my dad, this is whathe wants, and he really just wants
America to be great again. SoI think there are so many great moments
last night, and I think overall, in terms of the entire convention.
(01:27:39):
On a lighthearted note, one ofmy favorites was seeing baby Dog Justice,
which is Governor Justice's dog, comeout on the stage. I think that
a really a sweet moment to see, and baby Dog Justice predicted a Republican
House, Senate, and presidency, and so I have to compliment that Dog's
wisdom, and I hope that hisprediction comes true. Love it, love
(01:27:59):
it. I think I love watchingPresident Trump and react to his granddaughter's speech.
I thought that was awesome, verycool. There were some moments with
him and in the grand children thatwere great too. I think those those
are the kind of things that mediadoesn't want you to see too, when
it comes to who he is.Fantastic overall. Tommy Piggott, thank you
for taking the time to be herewith us with the rn C. Thank
(01:28:20):
you so much for wrapping up thebig week. And I know it's you
guys said such a week of work, but the work's just getting started right
now. It really is. Imean, that's what we sign up for.
But it's an honor and a privilegeto be part of this movement.
I think everyone feels that way. That's been the motivation here throughout the week.
Love of country. We get tobe here, we get to save
(01:28:42):
our country. We are optimistic thatour best days are yet to come,
and there gets to come because ofPresident Trump's leadership, his character, and
his vision to make America great again. There you go, Tommy, thank
you very much, appreciate you takingthe time, and we're looking forward to
President Trump in Michigan in Grand RapidsSaturday, as folks are already started in
the lineup, and I know youcould steal RSVP for tickets online as well.
(01:29:03):
We'll make sure that those links areup as as always. Thank you
and God blessed. Thank you hearingme on. So more coming up in
moments, folks, We've got We'vegot more news to get to. We're
still following this crowd string. Igot an update from this wouldn't you believe
it? CrowdStrike, the company thatis having the outage this morning that's causing
(01:29:25):
disastrous well that you know, there'sairline flights being canceled, there are nine
one one centers, call centers outthings like that. When you know,
when you know the companies, Well, there's there's something about it that just
really strikes me. And every timewe hear things like this, boy,
it seems like this is always atthe center of it, especially lately anyway,
(01:29:51):
uh, in the middle, rightin the middle of all the chaos.
We'll tell you what that is comingup after this Detroit's News talks a
first station nine ten am. Iwouldn't you know it? Here? It
is the latest in the DEI debacle. I really think the letters ought to
(01:30:18):
be switched around a bit. Ithink it really it'd be more appropriate if
instead of DEI it was DEE diversityequity inclusion. We could do do a
diversity inclusion in equity. Why becauseeverything goes to you know where when you
involve any of this. So thecompany that's responsible for the outages this morning,
(01:30:42):
the most massive, it seems, maybe even in history, that we're
hearing about right now, CrowdStrike.CrowdStrike are right off of their website Crowdstrike's
commitment to diversity equity and inclusion,of course, and the Secret Service as
a commitment to diversity equity inclusion. And look what it almost got us.
(01:31:04):
Boeing apparently hasard a commitment to diversityequity inclusion. We got airplanes falling out
of the sky doors falling off diversityequity and inclusion. At CrowdStrike, we're
committed to fostering a culture of belongingwhere everyone feels seen, heard, valued
(01:31:29):
for who they are, and empoweredto succeed. Okay, that's great and
everything, but can you keep thestuff on? Can you keep the airplanes
flying? Can you keep nine toone one up? I mean, that's
what I'm really concerned about more thananything. I mean, I don't really
care about how people feel. Icare about whether people are safe, not
whether or not they feel safe andthey're safe places. I want people to
(01:31:51):
be safe. Call me crazy, call me old fashioned, call me natty,
but I actually want people to besafe. Make America safe again.
That's what we need here in thiscountry. That's the kind of strategy,
(01:32:15):
that's the kind of policy that actuallyactually works. By the way, the
people so so so crazed about allof this, The same people that are
on MSDNC telling you that the TrumpI saw stat I don't know if if
(01:32:35):
they said polling that thirty something percentof Democrats believe that trump assassination was staged,
the assassination attempt was staged, stagedthirty some odd percent. These numbers
are incredible. The same people,by the way, telling you that you
(01:32:58):
didn't see what you saw, thejoy reads of the world trying again gaslights
you on that, Yeah you didn'tsee that, that's not what you saw.
MSDN sees Alex Wagner out there, this is a great clip saying that
JD Vance effected he wants to beburied in his family sixth generation plot in
Kentucky is quote the supremacy of whitenessand masculinity. I don't I have no
(01:33:24):
idea how she weaves us together. But let's take a listen Kentucky where his
seven or six generations of his familyare buried, and his hope is that
his wife and he are eventually laidto rest there and their kids follow them.
What's wrong with that? Can somebodytell me he loves where he came
(01:33:44):
from and he'd love his family tobe all laid to rest? Is what
is wrong with it? Personally?I don't know that I care as much
about where I'm living after I'm gone. I'm gone, right, But uh,
this is this is I think there'sa sentimental idea from him. How
could this possibly be racist or anything? Well, just a second, when
(01:34:06):
you are looking at that lens andyou go see it everywhere, that's what
they do. And I sort ofunderstand the idea of sharing the burial plot,
but it also is it reveals someonewho believes that the history that the
family should inherit, and indeed, the history that should be determinative in the
story of the Vance family is thehistory of the eastern Kentucky Vances and not
(01:34:30):
the Vances from San Diego, whichis where his wife is from and where
her Indian parents are from. Butit will be a break, give me
a break. You're kidding me.That's that's what she see this coming at
all. That's what she's taking outof this, that he wants to usurp
as the white man in the relationshipany of the Indian roots. This is
(01:34:57):
just it. It's absolutely reaching forthe craziest, weirdest strategies. These people
always point the finger at us andtell us we're wacky conspiracy theorists. I've
never seen anything more extreme, moreridiculous in my life. America doesn't always
have to be the white male lineagethat Trump's that defines the family history,
(01:35:17):
that that branch of the tree supersedesall else. Break And I just think
the construction of this notion reveals alot about someone who fundamentally believes in it.
The kids are going to be buriedwherever they want to be buried,
by the way, it's up tothem. It's nobody even cares about this.
After you're gone, you're gone.Nine times out of ten people may
(01:35:40):
visit you. They may put theflowers down at your grave. You try
and do that for other folks, but you know, at the end of
the day, when you're gone, you're gone, and the only thing left
is memories and the impact of themark that you made. And this is
just another example of how through thiscrazy Marxist ideology they just make everything heap,
they just make everything living hell. That's what they want to do.
(01:36:04):
Supremacy of whiteness and masculinity, andit's couched in a sort of halcyon,
you know, revisitation of his roots. But shut up, people, You
people are crazy, no wonder they'reso unhappy, unhinged. Oh, the
(01:36:25):
crazy catwomen of the left. I'msorry, and just it's just insanity.
Go enjoy life. Why out you? You people are just so mad at
everything. Ah. Yes, butwait there's more. There's even more crazy,
unhinged reaction for the left because ofthis convention was so successful and I
(01:36:49):
think you're going to see it continueto pour out over the next few days.
We'll stay on top of the latestheadlines. It was weather traffic together
back after this. It's a gloriousweekend. Whether it's gonna be perfect,
if you're gonna be out and about. We'll get into it after this on
nine ten am Full Speed I hadthe glib Bank program is coming up in
(01:37:15):
just moments today nine to noon.Troitz News Talk Superstation nine ten am.
It's it's gonna be jam packed.Talking to Kathy Lee Gifford today, She's
got a book out Herod and Maryhow the story of King Herod is the
greatest story never told. Kind offascinating. Thomas Blackshear, an artist at
(01:37:38):
the New way of American storytelling, talking about those things as well. The
big stories today. Donald Trump deliveringthe heartfelt call for unity, recounting his
harrowing assassination bid the RNC speech we'vebeen covering at every angle today. Every
single moment we have on earth isa gift from God. That what a
(01:38:03):
powerful moment. And again, theseare things that Left probably doesn't want him
to say. Do. They don'twant you to be able to hear them
in most Americans, because I believeif they did, this would show them
a sign of Trump they'd probably neverseen. My father used to love taking
(01:38:24):
me to see billygram My father wouldtake me to see Billy Graham at Yankee
Stadium. He had the biggest rallyship ever seen. He was a good
rally guy too, but he gotup and he was a fantastic guy.
My father loved Billy Graham, butI love Franklin Graham. I think Franklin's
been fantastic, and I'm trying.I'm just working so hard to adhere to
(01:38:45):
his note to me. I'm workinghard on it, Franklin. But if
the events of last Saturday make anythingclear, it is that every single moment
we have on earth is a giftfrom God. It's powerful. We have
to make the most of every dayfor the people and for the country that
(01:39:09):
we love. The attacker in Pennsylvaniawanted to stop our movement. But the
truth is, the movement has neverbeen about me. It has always been
about you. It's your movement. It's the biggest movement in the history of
our country by far. Can't bestocked. Fantastic moment, their action packed
(01:39:30):
filled to the brim with all ofthem. In fact, if you want
to watch it, you haven't seenthe whole speech, you can go check
it out. We'll put it upin the stack the full speech at Justin
Barclay dot com. It's a it'sninety minutes, but it is well worth
it. It is a full ninetyminutes from a start to finish. Of
(01:39:53):
really, of course there's policy laidout. There's all kinds of great things
in it as well. I gottasay this, we lost a couple of
folks over the last day or so. We lost Bob Newhart, which you
may or may not have heard about, but we also lost Lou Dobbs.
(01:40:13):
And Lou Dobbs had a segment thataired mornings on this station talking about financial
and things like that. Lose agreat I just one of the one of
the greatest. In fact, youknow, he got canned from Fox Business
not too long ago, but itwas because of a certain segment he aired.
(01:40:35):
I wanted to kind of remind peopleabout that. Here's the President's statement
on Lou. By the way heunderstood the world and what was happening better
than others. Lou was unique inso many ways and loved our country.
Our warmest condolences to his wonderful wife, Debbie and family. He will be
(01:40:58):
greatly missed. Here's the segment Lougot fired for. It was during the
aftermath of the twenty twenty election, and it was kind of spicy Nearly two
hundred thousand completed mail in ballots weresmuggled from New York before they inexplicably disappeared.
Fired. You say, why wouldhe be fired for this? Well,
(01:41:20):
they had to shut everybody up,and Lou was so popular and so
just like Tucker, it was soincredible that they just they just couldn't have
him, particularly on Fox Business, talking like this. Those are the charges
of Jesse Morgan, a truck driver. He's a subcontractor working for the US
(01:41:45):
Postal Service and he joins US heretonight. Jesse Morgan, who has signed
a Swarren affidavit charging that those hundredsof thousands of ballots were taken across state
lines. Did anybody ever get downat the bottom of this? Jesse?
I want to say, first ofall, I comend your courage for standing
up and speaking truth. I knowthat it's got to be tremendously difficult for
(01:42:09):
you, and I admire your strengthand so doing and your concern for your
fellow citizens who depend on an electoralprocess of integrity. Good to have you
on the broadcast. I want tostart, if I may, with the
how it happened that we're picking upthese uh, these boxes filled with ballots?
(01:42:32):
How how did it happen? Whenyou asked Luke? Yes, sir,
all right, First I want tosay thanks for having me on your
show. Uh, greatly appreciate it. How it all happened? Was it
just one day? I went inI, uh, normal process. I
walked up, gave my my slipto the expediter. She was going to
(01:42:59):
go cut off the seat, andas she was doing so, she made
a comment that I won't be takingmail and ballots back. And I was
like, oh, I said, that's pretty cool, you know, I'm
like, you know, cool. And then I went back and then she
made the comment again about taking themail and ballots back, and I said
okay, And then I went tomy trailer watched them unload, and then
(01:43:24):
they brought up the the gay lordsand then they had the ballots in it,
and I watched them be loaded ontothe trailer. Those are boxes of
Those are boxes containing what turned outto be ballots gay lords. Yeah,
(01:43:45):
So they had the gay lords andthen inside each gay lord was like a
tot was tots and they were stackedon top of each other, and then
each tot had envelopes which with theballots, and then as they were bringing
them in, some of the theballots, like kan came out of how
they had him stacked in there. You can see them laid on top.
(01:44:05):
And as I wasn't looking for addresses, be honest, I thought I was
doing something to help out the presidentialelection. You know, That's how it
came across, and I'm like,oh, sweet, this is this isn't
this is awesome, you know, like cool, absolutely doing something to help
(01:44:26):
out here. You know. Bythe way, somebody asked about I'll put
this segment up on the stack too, just so you could go back and
watch it. But this was whathe essentially was fired for the lawsuits that
went forward, and I just didn'treally fight it. But this is again,
this is the story of a manwho's signed sworn after after David saying
(01:44:46):
that this is what I saw,and of course I'm sure they'll get down
to the bottom of it eventually.Yeah, just in time for twenty twenty
four election. Huh. But theinteresting thing about it is it's unfortunately another
voice that was silence. Now,he did just pass seventy eight years old.
(01:45:06):
Somebody was asking in the chat aboutthe cause of death. I don't
have that. I'm everything I'm saying, I'm not saying anything about it.
How about haul Cogan at the rallylest they got him on Fox Fox News
right now, hul Cogan is talkingabout his experience three minutes after. I
was out there. Wow, butit was fun. The energy in the
(01:45:28):
room was crazy, and it actuallyfelt like a rustling crowd. I felt
him rumbling. So I started pushingthe gas pills down. The more I
pushed the gas pello down, themore they responded, when'd you come up
with the idea to rip the shirtopen? Well? I was in the
back and I thought, you knowwhat, the thing that really pushed me
over the edge with this thing becauseI was one of those people that was
silent and I didn't speak. Icall those people cowards, you know.
(01:45:50):
And I sat around for years andyears and years and watched what was happening
to our country. And when theydid that to Trump and they tried to
kill him, I said, thatwas this that when you decided to speak
to Yes, That's when I saidenough's enough, I'm done, you know.
And so I was just sitting youknow what, that might be crazy,
you know, when I if Ijust go ahead and put that shirt
(01:46:11):
off and have the doubling underneath. So it's one of the iconic moments of
the RNC twenty twenty four. Youknow, Dana White introduced him. You
were in attendance as well. Becausethe subtle message and not so subtle message
is Donald Trump is a fighter.Yes, brother, he is. And
you know what, the one thingI forget to say. And I was
riffing in the back of my headbefore my wife was with me, before
(01:46:32):
I went out of they were playingmusic. I was just in the back
trying to get my head right andget into the moment. And I started
thinking, I'm doctor Hogan. I'mdoctor Hogan. I can fix Trump de
arrangement syndrome because Donald Trump has somuch love, and he cares so much
about this country, and he caresso much about people that Trump Amania is
(01:46:53):
the cure for you know, Trumpde ranging syndrome. But I forgot to
say it. Oh and so whatI'm saying He just said, I know,
I know. So what do youknow about town, Jill? What
do you people know about him?Who's the one we rented the Trump Plaza
for us many A four and fiveback in the day the day, like
thirty five years I remember that hewas gracious. He came to the ringside,
(01:47:15):
he stayed for all the matches. We did a bunch of other stuff
with him with the WW and hecame and he shaved vincetring Man's head.
All kind of crazy stuff happened. But he was such a kind person.
He was just so nice all thetime. And I watched how he treated
people, and he treated everybody thesame, and it was really cool and
to see, yeah, there yougo. It was really cool to see
(01:47:38):
that this guy hasn't changed a bit, you know, and all the stuff
that the press writes about him,he's not that guy. You know.
Paul Hogan there talking about the experiencewith President Trump and in his his moment
last night on the stage, butagain is going to go down as one
(01:47:58):
of the most in the history ofany of these presidential conventions. And that's
what I think made this RNC conventionso unconventional, so entertaining, so different.
There were so many pieces. PeterNavarro coming right out of jail at
the time, and uh and andright onto the stage at the RNC.
(01:48:20):
That's another piece. I mean,I'm just thinking about I'm still all of
these moments are popping into my headas we're sitting here talking about but what
happened last week when they took ashot at my hero and they tried to
kill the next president of the UnitedStates? Enough was enough? Sad love,
(01:48:47):
trop media ripping off the shirt, trop media rule again? What tropa
media make a right again? Oh? I gotta stay shop with a big
smile, ear to ear, clappingside by side. Too shot here chance
(01:49:12):
of the USA. You know somethingTrump bites. I didn't come here as
(01:49:36):
halt Hogan. You know that's interesting. I just I can you imagine?
Can you think back to anything likethat? And any good luck to the
Democrats and what they're going to tryand pull off is they try and pull
it all off. And of coursethat conversation about what may happen with Biden
and the crazy train is right offthe rails. This week, it's gonna
(01:50:01):
be an interesting one to watch again. President Trump here in Michigan brand Rapids
on Saturday, first rally since thatattempt on his life last week. Yes,
all of this and boy, theGlen Back program too caught up nine
to noon today Clay and Buck actionpacked shows all week. Sean Hannity,
(01:50:25):
Bill O'Reilly and Moore stay with usthroughout the day Detroit's News Talk superstation nine
ten am. Back next. Wegot one other moment in the in the
(01:50:46):
convention last night the RNC. Itwas a really touching moment President Trump who
said just uh, just a fewminutes later that he was never are supposed
to be here. They've got therecognition for the fact that he was.
(01:51:08):
He walks up to the fire jacketand the helmet of Corey Comportour, who
is the man who was killed Saturdayprotecting his family. A real American,
he will protecting his family, father, protecting his daughter, his wife.
There in the in the stands ofthat rally, he walks up to this
(01:51:34):
jacket in the hat and he givesit a kiss. Wow, just something,
and then he begins his speech.I I that's that is something that
(01:52:00):
if you just can't you almost can'tput into words what happened there and again,
how he kissed that helmet. It'sfunny because I've seen people on the
left, you know, they're absolutelylosing it right now. And I hate
this because as much as we jokeor laugh about Trump arrangement, syndrome,
(01:52:26):
and a lot of these people arein turmoil. They're in torment, and
they're not well. They are sounhinged that they they completely disconnect with reality
and can't understand. There's thirty someone percented believe that Trump staged the attempt
on his life. Now I can'teven begin to find a way to understand
(01:52:51):
that logic. The only thing thatI can say about it is they've been
lied to so much that they don'tunderstand and what reality is anymore. And
because they've been completely disconnected from itbecause of the media, the answering media,
the politicians, et cetera. Becausethey've been lied to so much,
(01:53:14):
I can't possibly recognize truth or realitywhen they see it. So if anything's
possible, everything's possible, and that'swhere they are right now. They possible
that they don't understand firearms all togetheranyway. So it's possible that you know,
that kid fired from everywhere, andyou know that, oh, he
knew exactly how to just nick Trump'sear, that idea of heart all the
(01:53:40):
way to well, he didn't reallyactually shoot him, and that Trump,
you know, they cut himself andthe people jumped on and they made that
cut. They did it on purposeso that there would be blood coming off
of his ear, and the wholething was a setup. That's I've heard
it all, but those they justcompletely disconnected with reality in all of this.
(01:54:03):
I'm not holding my breath to hopefullythe media will change your sar,
he says, hopefully, hopefully, but I'm not holding my breath on that.
President Trump will be in Michigan thisweekend. Of course, he's going
to be giving a speech in GrandRapids, a rally and the first one,
the first one since the attempt onhis life, and I'm sure we'll
(01:54:25):
have more news. I can't imaginethe world that we're going to be living
in. This's how fast things aremoving now. Monday, once Monday comes
along. That's why it's probably moreimportant now more than ever, to stay
connected with each other every now andthen. Yeah, you got to turn
it off, make sure you areintentional about spending some time with your family,
and you know, whatever you do, go out and enjoy the weather.
This weekend's going to be another gorgeousweekend. But also stick with us.
(01:54:53):
We'll bring you the latest. I'mback Monday with all of these updates
and more. Wishing you the best. Back then, God bless us has
been here again. Don't phase eventhen a lovely way he took them in
(01:55:14):
not chap you have the CD thereon, and raised himself to jail.
