You're with us, and of course lock in man oh Man,
big stories. Okay, so let's explore some of the theories
about what's happening with Trump and Elon. In fact, one
of them that this whole thing is just staged. Like
the last caller said, I think there's a lot of
people that feel that way and have that thought, and
(02:03):
I think I kind of understand that, but I want
to give us a chance to sort of break it
down and see if there's any truth to it all
coming up and folks stand by.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
We'll do that right after this.
Speaker 2 (02:17):

let's go through. Let's just check out.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
What the.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
What the timeline is here in fact, the thoughts on
whether or not this is an orchestrated feud. All right,
we'll start with this. This was posted yesterday and it's
great proof. It's an interesting thought. This would be the
first time Trump orchestrated a fake feud with a public
(04:14):
figure to achieve a goal. This is the interview from
the thing It was Sean Ryan Show. Megan Kelly talks
about the interesting experience she had with President Trump.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Take a listen, and it was really crazy, so crazy, shongs.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
I walked out.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
We agreed like we're good. And the last thing he
said to me before I walked out of Trump Tower
was you know, Megan, it's not such a good thing
if they're not talking about us. And I was like,
oh my god, was this whole thing for show? Like
(05:00):
was he acting the whole time to generate buzz? And
it was really crazy, so crazy, Sean.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
What do you think about that? Do you think there's
something to that? Uh?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Well, you know, he's kind of the king of that.
He knows exactly how to do it. He knows how
to get folks though. Chris Cuomo today also weighing in,
and it picks on the Epstein Files portion. We'll tell
you what he said, and then the lawyer from the
Epstein Files case breaking down some of this issue. And
(05:39):
then I told you yesterday Carl Higbee thought this was
a forty chess whatever we were watching play out right
in front of us.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
And saying, ooh, maybe I shouldn't have settled for what
the Congress gave me. So let's put Congress in the
hot seat and force it back to the drawing board.
Is it crazy to think think so? I Mean, one
of the things that I think is really underplayed here
is the fact that yes, we get all these tax cuts. Now, great,
that's a huge Republican talking point, and they're always saying,
(06:10):
that's why we need to pass this to avoid the
largest tax height in history. Okay, well, first off, it
was their idea to make the Trump tax cuts temporary
in the first place. I realized there's like procedural reasons
why they did this, but the procedure sucks. So I'm
not giving them a pass on that because they made
the procedure. So don't tell me we have to pass
(06:31):
something so you can cover your own behind for not
passing permanent tax cuts the first time.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Mike Johnson.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
The other part is, yes, America gets the tax cuts
right now, which is a great thing. It really is
a good thing. And that is the one reason why
I've been even mildly supportive of this bill, because taxation
is theft. But almost all the spending cuts don't kick
in until twenty twenty nine. Why not start them tomorrow,
so we're just gonna increase the deficit by like five
(06:58):
trillion dollars.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Ran Paul is all over this, folks.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Look, there's a bunch of people out there that think
that this is like some monolithic scenario where you either
support Trump in the bill or you don't.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
It's not that simple.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
The left wing media wants to think that this is
dividing Republicans, But let me tell you, you know, I'm
like one of the most staunched maga guys since twenty fifteen. Okay,
you can be against something that Trump is for and
still support Trump.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
Republicans who can't actually bear what Trump is doing to
their own states and to their own constituents, but they're
too scared to say they're against it.
Speaker 6 (07:34):
Are there maga folks who would follow are let's not
hit ourselves.
Speaker 7 (07:39):
The voters who are maga are Trump mago.
Speaker 8 (07:42):
This division between Tea Party Republicans, the Republicans that were
born out of the beginning of the Obama presidency, where
fiscal discipline is a major issue, government reform, cutting programs,
and this new Maga movement. President Trump really does not
prioritize fiscal disas said Blinny.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
So look, folks, I live in Connecticut where we lost
the salt tax and the first Trump tax us.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I still supported them because.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
They were good for the country, cost me a ton
of extra money a year, but I supported it on
a large scale. So don't let Joe Scarborough or whatever
those other talking heads say that, Oh maga's turning on
Trump and Elon. There's no division. We just have the
simple policy disagreement.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
I said yesterday.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
If the fight is real, Trump took a bullet for
the country. There's no pulling any of the Maya base
off of off of Trump. It's just not going to happen.
Never going to see that happen. Well, we do have
breaking this apparently this morning, some questions about President Trump
and what he's going to do with that tesla that
he want from Elon and there it's not a possible
(08:47):
phone call. Here's Peter Deucy.
Speaker 9 (08:48):
I'm on on the South Lne a few months ago
to try to help Elon Musk's business while it was
being vandalized. We're told that that tesla still sitting there,
the red tesla with Florida tags, is either going to
be given away, were sold off.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
And we are told.
Speaker 9 (09:03):
That it was about a month that Elon Musk was
wearing thin on Trump, so this was not a sudden
exit and then blow up. There was about a month
that he was wearing thin the President's word something else.
There was some reporting today about the possibility of a
Trump and Elon Musk phone call to make nice aids
are telling me that it is not something they are tracking.
(09:25):
It's possible that some staffers might try to talk to Musk,
but know Trump and Musk call, at least not that
we know about. We did hear from the President yesterday
and he didn't sound mad, but he sounded disappointed.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Elon and I had a great relationship.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
I don't know what will anymore, but I'm.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Very disappointed in Elon.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
I've helped Elon a lot, and I'll be honest, I
think he misses the place. I think he got out
there and all of a sudden he wasn't in this
beautiful Oval office.
Speaker 9 (09:54):
The lowest blows yesterday came from Elon. He said, without me,
Trump would have lost the election, would control the House,
and the Republicans would be fifty one to forty nine
in the Senate. And then he wrote, time to drop
the really big bomb. Donald Trump is in the Epstein files.
That is the reason they have not been made public.
Have a nice day, DJT. The President, of course, said
that Musk had been wearing thin and he was asked
(10:15):
to leave, and the President offered up the idea that
the fastest way to save money would be to cancel
Musk's government contracts MUCKs. Musk then wrote, in light of
the President's statement about cancelation of my government contracts, SpaceX
will begin decommissioning it's Dragon spacecraft immediately. But he later said, Okay,
we won't decommission Dragon. Trump rarely seems as close to
(10:38):
AIDS as he did for a time to Elon Musk,
and we asked about that at the start of his term.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
At the end of the.
Speaker 10 (10:49):
Man oh, I think she'll be okay with it somehow.
Speaker 9 (10:57):
So this was a sensational back and forth on the platform.
Elon Musk owns yesterday, but there were signs of strain
for the last week or so in public. Elon Musk
blew up in the Oval office during his sendoff when
I tried to ask him about this big New York
Times report that alleged he was blurring the lines between
medical use of drugs and recreational use of drugs. And
(11:19):
we still don't have any real clarity about that.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Back to you.
Speaker 11 (11:24):
One thing is pretty clear, Peter, isn't he very wasn't
Elon Musk really tight with JD Vance.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Didn't they have a relationship.
Speaker 11 (11:31):
Prior because of their tech backgrounds, and I'm wondering with him.
He's also tight. Elon Musk is tight with Don Junior too,
So I don't know did he prethink this? Is he
breaking up with everybody he knows there.
Speaker 9 (11:43):
It's unclear how much thought went into this ahead of time.
But we are not hearing any Republicans come out to
say we are with Elon Musk, even the Republicans who
were with him at a couple days ago when he
started saying we need the big, beautiful bill to be smaller.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
I think we just need these guys together. I need
everybody together. Evon's gotta calm down a little bit. He's
got to take some time to calm down. I think
that's the biggest issue here now, way we see it,
whill we get that, that's a whole nother question. I
don't know some of the thoughts on what this might
be all about. Behind the scenes, some guy named sun
Zu's war over on X, posting, you have to see
(12:24):
this genius play here or at play.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Here is what he says.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Elon Musk and President Trump stage a massive public feuds,
slinging insults and grubbing every headline. The media eats it
up focusing on their clash. Then boom, Elon drops the
Epstein bombshell, claiming Trump's in the files. Suddenly all eyes
shift to Epstein and the media is buzzing about the
sealed documents, perfect timing for Cash potent to expose Epstein files. Well,
(12:53):
you got a really is the FBI just came out
Cash and Dan Bongino just came out saying, what that
You know Epstein didn't kill him?
Speaker 1 (13:01):
He said, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
I'm not like you know, I'm not so sure that
we're going to get some massive disclosure here.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I just don't know. I don't see it.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Guy goes out to say this sun Zoo level strategy,
misdirection and striking at the heart of the narrative. Trump
and Musk are playing forty chess, orchestrating the greatest reverse
si op. Ever, nothing can stop what's coming, he says, nothing.
There is another possibility, folks, and I know this is
this is why it's so hard to imagine. The other
(13:36):
possibility is that this is all real, and that mom
and dad have broken up and divorces are never easy
and kids left in the middle. I can't imagine. I
just can't imagine.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Now, I know, and there is a lot of you know, denial, like.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Just a river in Egypt. There's a lot of pain
that's going to be felt through this. Joeanne, You're right,
and she says, I'm sorry. I think this is really
ridiculous and doesn't look good for a country at all.
We have enough for ridicule to worry about, especially the
last four years of sleeping Joe. I agree. And I
(14:20):
don't think they need the buy even though they've got
the d n C. Now, they've got the d n
C sharing these these uh, these calls now to come
out and to release the Epstein files. And I'm sure
Bill Clinton probably not probably sweating through some of this todays.
(14:41):
I don't know if this is really the way to
go here. And I'm sure you want to do that, Hillary,
Do you see what they're doing? You know, probably not happy.
But I don't think they necessarily needed the d n
C to call for it in order to get the
Fstein files out. I just I don't for some reason,
I don't think that that was necessary.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
But that's just me. Maybe I could be wrong. I don't.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
I don't see the chest moves necessarily the way that
that everybody else does. What is interesting is that it
was it Chris Cuomo coming out to yesterday saying that
he believes, uh, there's a reason why we're seeing all
this play out, and he and he said it's gonna
be bad for h for Elon. Here's what he says
(15:27):
about the the Epstein files.
Speaker 12 (15:28):
Yeah, look, I just don't know what his leverage is,
to be honest, I mean, unless he's got the proof
that he has the files. And again, you know, as
we both know, public figures are tough to sue because
of the standard. But I'm going to point some things
out here that people haven't grabbed onto yet. I just
I don't know what he's thinking.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Yeah, so what does Chris go on to say? Chris
does believe that Trump has a lawsuit that that he
that he could he could actually sue Elon Musk at
some point and for quite a bit of money, which
I think is kind of interesting if the feud is
(16:07):
is real.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (16:08):
Now Trump hasn't responded. Some are taking this as an
admission not me, I think again, unless Musk does some
serious ass kissing on the quick, Trump is going to
sue him for defamation. And if Trump sues, I think
he wins now. I don't often like Trump's use of litigation.
(16:30):
I didn't like it when he threatened to sue my
parents for giving birth to me true story, And I
don't like him sue in sixty minutes. No way they
lose that lawsuit for editing. They always edit. Most interviews
are edited. CBS is just over a barrel because allegedly
their merger won't be approved until the suit is settled.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
That's dirty pool. This is different.
Speaker 12 (16:50):
The reason a public figure is easy to insult is
because there's a very high legal bar. To prove damage,
you have to show that the person who said it
showed actual malice what they call restless, reckless disregard of truth.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
What does that mean.
Speaker 12 (17:05):
That means that you knew or had reason to know,
that what you put out was wrong, and you did
it anyway. This is not just Musk the mogul. This
is coming from Musk, who was so close to the
White House that he had all kinds of clearances and access,
with his doge guys digging through everything. Trump could argue
not only is the allegation false, but that.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Musk knows it's false.
Speaker 12 (17:28):
He knows what he said, is bs and then he
could force a huge settlement or a humongous award.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
I don't know. I don't even know that we have
to get that into the weeds on this. I don't
know that there'll be.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
There might be no Trump, there might be a suit.
But I just I'm just telling you, folks, I this
whole thing is, as Joan said earlier, did believe bad
for bad for the country. It's bad for conservatives. It's
just bad, bad, bad, bad bad. You don't want to
see this happening. It's in fact, I'm not the only
one that's mentioned this.
Speaker 13 (18:02):
You know.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
It's kind of funny because he's usually taken it to
folks on CNN and last last night, Scott Jennings, Uh
got a rough day, rough day, he said, but I
think he handled it. I think he handled it with
a lot of grace, with a lot of class. Scott
Jennings had to bring pepto last night onto the set
(18:23):
at CNN to get through that that appearance, and a couple.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Other things happened as well while he was there.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Take a listen to Scott Jennings last night, and he says,
he says a few things. One thing particular that I
thought was really well put.
Speaker 7 (18:38):
Hebby Is that bad for you to breathe into? This
is what Okay, I'll be pouring this in my news night,
mug tonight. Pepto bismol is what we all need here
in the Republican Party.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
They might need that too.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
I'm just I'm just, first of all, I just want
to I know that we have our differences here sometimes,
but if you can, just if you could give me
a little dispensation for the next hour and not beat
me to death.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
This is Look, here's the deal.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
The goal.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
You don't have to know, you don't have to defend
either of these men.
Speaker 7 (19:10):
You could just And here's the problem. Here's the problem.
They both have a point. Trump's agenda is in the
bill and he wants to pass it. That's his point.
Musk is not wrong about the national debt and he
deeply cares about this, and that's the point. So their
goals are not mutually exclusive, which is I think the
rub And for all these Republicans out here, who like me,
(19:33):
have really enjoyed this coalition, this partnership, I mean, I
firmly believe that the relationship, in the partnership, they formed
last year saved America and put us on a path
to saving Western civilization, and now this puts that in jeopardy.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
And so it's not just.
Speaker 7 (19:49):
About the daily policy quibbles. It's about the larger cultural
things are at place. So I'm going to have some
of this tonight, and I hope for better days and
better skies tomorrow because I still love them both. And
I hate when Mom and Dat.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
You couldn't take a sip of Cary.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
I mean, that's the weirdest thing he did last night
on the show. In fact, we got some more clips.
I forgot to mention this. Did you did you see
the CBO score? The news about the CBO score, And
that's might be the biggest bit that again sort of
complicates what Elon is trying to say about what his big.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Problems are with the one big beautiful Bill.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
You want to hear that coming out after this rom
back in just a moment after our good friend Kirk
Kelly at kirk Kelly Att Precious Metal seal, so you
had to get ready no matter what's coming with the economy.
Speaker 10 (20:36):
I'm doctor Kirk Elliott, founder of Kirk Elliott Precious Metals.
After being in the industry for more than a decade.
I knew there was a better way. It's an exciting
time to invest in gold and silver with the most
significant bull market I've ever seen. But please don't overpay
for your stuff. At k EPM, we focus on low
cost bullion only and we don't charge a commission when
(20:58):
you sell. We would love to connect with you, so
call our office at seven two oh six oh five
thirty nine hundred or go.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
To goldwod justin dot com today. There you have it. Okay,
So what what else happened last night?
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Scott Shedding's in the in the trash can at one
point on seeing it gets you.
Speaker 9 (21:19):
In the divorce?
Speaker 7 (21:20):
Trumpet or elon, let me just tell you what Regard
is doing. I have my Here's where we are today.
We're literally heads are in the garbage can right now.
That's the That's the state of everybody I know at
the moment.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
It's a funny question, who gets you in the divorce?
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Says that they were asking that on online uh act yesterday?
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Who gets cat Turn?
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Cat Turn is going to have to go to two
separate Christmas parties this next year? Yeah, look at look
at the video? Who made this who who? Who did this?
This is something this AI is getting to control, folks.
(22:01):
This is really this is really something Trump and a
White House. There's Bill Gates. That's hilarious. That's hilarious. Kevin
O'Leary talking about the CBO yesterday. Now this is the
Congressional Budget Office there scoring of of uh sou the
(22:21):
news on this. This is actually big though. The scoring
of this one big beautiful bill turns out if you
include all the tariff money that comes in, and today
we got more good financial news. But if you cool
all the tariff money that comes in, we're no longer
runner deficit. That's right, folks, And they won't And you
wonder why. It's a very it's a fascinating point. But
(22:46):
if you look at all this, it looks like this
one big beautiful bill everything ends up working out. Now
that that makes me wonder again further, why is Elon
not understood?
Speaker 1 (22:57):
Why does he not grasp this? The guy is brilliant?
Are you you're.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Telling me he really doesn't drat There's something about all
of this that just seems off.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Here's Kevin O'Leary.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
Anyway, the CBO was way off on Obamacare. It said
Obamacare would increase the number of people on Medicaid by
sixteen million. Kevin, the number is more than twice that
thirty four million. Went on, went on that the CBO
also predicted twenty four million would get insurance through the
Obamacare exchange from just fourteen million. Did some more people
went on Medicaid? The CBO's went really way off on that.
Speaker 14 (23:28):
Yeah, Listen, They've had a lot of variations, no question
about it. The bill also has some tweaking that's going
on right now, probably a lot of it done by
next Friday. One of the tweaks that's being worked on
that's freaked out a lot of senators is this idea
of empowering the irs to audit businesses for nine years
the toocky erc tax credits. That's a non starter, So
I'm sure they're going to work on that.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Language.
Speaker 14 (23:48):
There's a lot of little things going on here, but
you're right, the overriding issue is how to score the
CBOE how do you work with forecasts?
Speaker 3 (23:56):
A decade out?
Speaker 5 (23:57):
The CBO was way off on Obama.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Now, I think what I'm starting to see and which
you'll see again, here's just trump mentions this in a truth.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Shockingly, the Democrat controlled CBO just announced that the tariffs
will be reducing the deficit by at least two point
eight trillion dollars. Too bad this information couldn't have been
released earlier. It would have kept people from knowing Lee
saying untruth. And then again you add that all in
to the plan and the strategy that Stephen Miller has
(24:31):
been laying out.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
This is what actually just got a mess.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
How can the big beautiful bill be perceived so polar
opposite in the eyes of Trump and Musk? For example,
who and what do we believe? I'm going to believe Trump.
I'm just always going to buy what he's selling now,
as much as I buy what anyone is selling, so
to speak. I mean, I'm always going to be looking
(24:56):
am my being told the truth on all these stories
in every situation. But at the same time, everything that
I hear and I read from Stephen Miller about the
process of how this is supposed to play out makes
sense and lines up, It adds up. Elon just seems
to be having a very emotional sort of moment here
(25:17):
where he is saying, I spent all this money, I
did all this for you, and I just feel like
I've been betrayed. But that's not the case. Elon seems
to me to be reacting ideologically, and Trump seems to
me to be reacting in a very thoughtful, pragmatic, sort
(25:38):
of practical way, kind.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Of kind of like how he always he always does.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Now, I do think some of the times of youth,
think what about the four am tweets or whatever. I
think some of that stuff is strategy too. So anyway,
who do you believe? That's a good question.
Speaker 15 (25:56):
The House did receive the Decisions Package from the White House,
and we're happy to see, but it's going to claw
about nine point four billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Now do you hear this?
Speaker 2 (26:04):
This is Speaker Johnson talking about the Recisions package. That's
the next piece. This is all the Doge cuts. That's
they need this. They need to label it this. We
did get the Doge cuts, you know, but they're they're
not saying they're not telling these telling us what these
things are. It's got appropriations. This is a different sort
(26:25):
of bill. This is something completely separate. You know, this
is a recisions package. You know, That's that's how you
have to talk about this stuff. Because I don't think
the average person understands when you're saying recisions package.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
They don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
They don't have no clue what you're talking about. What
does that mean? I don't give somebody give me a
break on that except break break that open for.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Me, if you can anyway, I don't. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
You you you you tell me? How did I mute
Charlie Kirk? Somehow Twitter X has got me muting Charlie Kirk.
That's crazy. I only discovered it because I went to
Stephen Miller's I went to his post on X and
I was like, this, this is from account you muted.
(27:19):
I didn't mute Charlie Kirk.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
That's wild. I wonder if.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Ooh wow, I'm sure there's nothing weird happening on the scenes.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
There is. Well, here's the post. Charlie said.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
If you haven't listened to my interview with Steven Miller yesterday,
you absolutely should. It's thirty minutes to me asking about
every critique I've seen about on this platform or heard
from senators personally on the Big Beautiful Bill, and you know,
Steven Miller answers it fairly. He said, thank you, Charlie.
So I'm not going to play it because it's thirty
(27:57):
minutes long, but I will link it up in the
stack everything I've been telling you recently about what Steven
Miller has said inside of this big beautiful bill, what's
sitting there, what folks need to be looking for, what
we're paying attention to. That is that's the process playing out.
(28:17):
That's something I think more people need to wrap their
head around. He said it three hours ago.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Again.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
The Reconciliation Bill, that's the big beautiful bill. It's a
reconciliation bill. It cuts taxes, seals the border, and reforms welfare.
That's the one big beautiful bill. It's not a spending bill.
There's no pork, he says. It is the campaign agenda codified.
(28:47):
So you get into that, you dig into that a
little bit further. The Reconciliation Bill is the bill that
Speaker Johnson is talking about. Reconciliation Bill, recision bills.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Use.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
This is the recisions that these talking about. These are
the Doge cuts. Listen to this.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
The House just replace decisions with Doge cuts.
Speaker 15 (29:07):
It received the recisions package from the White House.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
They did receive the Doge cuts package from the White House.
Speaker 15 (29:12):
Happy to receive it. It's going to claw back nine
point four billion dollars wasteful spending. Eight point three of
that is in the four and Aid, the USAID abuses area,
and one point one billion from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
These are common sense cuts, and the American people are
behind them. I'll tell you why, just in the Corporation
public Broadcasting space. Don't forget the NPR refused to cover
(29:34):
the hunter Byton laptop story. They repeatedly insisted that COVID
nineteen did not originate in a lab, and they ran
stories defending looting during the Summer of Love. Yeah for
all that, it's CEO admitted that she regards quote truth
as a harmful quote distraction from NPR's objectives. PBS produced
a movie titled Real Boy, which celebrates a trends gender
(29:55):
teens transition. This is all with taxpayer dollars. PBS is
featured drag Queen and programming for little kids. There is
no reason for any media organization to be singled out
to receive federal funds. We're in a different era now,
especially those that appear to have so little regard for
the truth.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Meanwhile, you want some fun, This was just treated by elon.
This apparently came from J. D Evans yesterday apparently slow
news day. What are we even going to talk about?
JB going on THEO VAD yesterday with the tears. That's
(30:33):
that's hilarious. That that's funny. Here's Stephen talking about the
one big beautiful bill, saying, look, this bill was so big,
it's so beautiful, it would be considered any other time
an historic victory. Why aren't people having such a big
problem with it?
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Is the question?
Speaker 16 (30:50):
There's so much to celebrate in this bill, and again
I don't think it's even possible to convey it. Sort
of the point that Rosa made, if any of these
things was done on its own, this would be considered
a historic victory for the movement, for the presidency, for
the country. In other words, if we had just did
a bill that say, just did no tax on tips,
that would be people we talk about that in fifty years, right,
(31:12):
If rond Reagan had passed a bill in nineteen eighty
one say no tax on tips, there'd be fifteen museums
out there talking about the time that we're all ringing
into no tax on tips.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Yes, that's absolutely correct. Just the one issue alone, there'd.
Speaker 16 (31:25):
Be a constant reel on the History Channel about when
we're all ring into no tax on tips. That's just
one part of this bill.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
You know.
Speaker 16 (31:30):
Take of course, somebody that I've talked a lot about
with you and with many others on immigration of border security.
This bill fully funds the entire wall across the entire
southern border land and river. So again, you think about
promises made, promises kept. Is there a bigger promise than
(31:54):
having full, complete, upfront funding that Democrats can never take away?
In other words, it's there, it's up front, and by
the way, it's paid for. It's another point that isn't.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
I don't know if you heard me. Sure I said
it adds to the deficit. I don't think I don't
think you heard me. Who says it adds to the deficit?
And just please just walk with me through this. When
we get a piece of news that says the bill
adds to the deficit, where does that come from? Where
(32:29):
does that come from? I just just walk me through it.
Does anybody have the answer in the in the in
the chat here.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
And then and then I'm gonna I'm gonna type it
in two grog here.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
And maybe we'll do chat GBT two just to see
what I think. Grog will probably have the better, better
answer here. And I'm not singing you out, Sherry, by
the way, I just I just I want to walk
through this because I think it's important. This is how
we're being divided right now and distracted. Hot does it
add to the deficit? Okay, conclusion, I'm not going to
(33:21):
go through all the pieces here, but the conclusion is
most independent analyses, including the CBOs which the Democrats run
basically as Trump mentioned the Congressional Budget Office, indicate that
the bill would add two point four to five trillion
to the deficit over ten years. How will they even
(33:44):
know that over ten years driven by large tax cuts
outpacing spending reductions. Well, they don't know because we haven't
even gotten the recisions package in yet, which is the
Doge cuts package. We don't even know because we yet
to cut even more that we're going to need to cut.
Plus we have no idea. See Trump wants growth, Elon
(34:06):
wants cuts, and I say yes to both. They understand
yes to both, and we ought to have it not
either or it's its and White House claims the deficit
reductions rely on optimistic economic and teriff revenue projections, which
are not supported by the CBO. However, the bill's final
(34:28):
impact depends on Senate revisions and whether temporary provisions are
made permanent. So the question is, how do you know?
How do you know if the bill, if this actually
does add to the deficit. You don't. Neither do I
(34:49):
Quite frankly, we're relying on the experts, and again we're
using this. This is being used to divide us conquerors,
put us in half, lying on the experts, the CBO
and other office. Uh an independent economic you know economic?
Let you sure, sure, I'm going to listen to independent economists.
(35:13):
Let's see what chatch ept says. By the way, Okay,
another question that we can ask Rock is what if
you factor in tariff revenue. Let's just ask him to
see what he says. I don't know what he's gonna say.
Let's just see they're saying a net deficit reduction of
(35:46):
one point six trillion dollars including tariff revenue. Who reduces
the obba's one big beautiful bill definite impact, but doesn't
eliminate it. Independent estimates suggest a one point seven to
three trillion dollar death and an increase over ten years
ten years. That's but I'm gonna tell you something else.
(36:08):
This is something else I'm gonna tell you. And this
is important to realize. Okay, I can't. I've heard Glenn
talk about this, and I've talked about it a little bit.
I don't know how public I've been with it. But
I sat down last like I do every fall, to
look at the next year and do my planning is
(36:31):
annual planning. And what I what I have a hard
time doing is seeing over the horizon.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Now.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
I used to not have a hard time doing this.
I could see everything and everything playing out and just
sort of this is going to happen, and that could happen.
I mean, particularly in my personal life and like where
I was going, what I wanted to do. And Glenn
talk about this the other day. It blew me away.
He says, you know, I'm having a hard time seeing
over the horizon. He said, you used to. We used
to talk about this twenty years ago, the things that
are happening today. And I don't know that I had
(37:05):
it to that extent, but I in my personal life,
I could see certain things and I could see other
things happening, and I said, oh, I have a hard
time seeing over the rise. And I'm gonna tell you,
the people that really understand the point, the crossroads that
we're at right now, and particularly the AI element of it,
are having the same issue.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Why because you don't know? You can't you don't.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Can I possibly have a clue for where we're going
to be, where we're going to go with AI drastic
one way or the other? I mean, it could be
just absolutely drastically swung from one way or the other.
Jack Gipt says, Independence Scorekeeper saying it adds to the deficit.
The White House says it cuts it. So who are
(37:56):
you gonna believe? You're gonna believe Trump? Are the experts?
Elon musk On It's deeper cuts that comes in another bill.
So what if you add in recisions in another bill?
Great question. Let me ask ROC, what if you add
(38:16):
in more cuts in future recision.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
Bills.
Speaker 13 (38:27):
Let's see what it says it's still working.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Additional spending cuts in the future could reduce the deficit impact. However,
achieving deficit neutrality requires politically challenging cuts to major programs,
sustained economic growth, and reliable tariff revenue. He said, we're
in the golden age, folks. I don't even know if
Chatchipt can understand where we're going. I don't know if
(39:08):
Rock gets it.
Speaker 1 (39:08):
Fully.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
What they're telling you is experts say this, the White
House says that.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
So that's all I'm going to say. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
I can't tell you. But there are people that I
do respect that I do like Ram Paul, I do
like Thomas Massey saying we're not cutting enough. And I
get that. But you have people like Trump saying, look,
you elected me to do this job. Let me do
my work. Let me work, and then we can figure
all this out. We can cut this stuff. This is
(39:38):
just the first of the first bills. And again, like
Steven Miller said, if any of this, the no tax
on timpsos in one single bill by itself, Reagan would
have libraries and all kinds of things named after this.
Speaker 16 (39:50):
This one move wall across the entire southern border land
and river. So again, you think about promises made, promises kept.
Is there a bigger promise than having full, complete upfront
funding that Democrats can never take away. In other words,
it's there, it's upfront and by the way it's paid for.
(40:11):
It's another point that it isn't discussed very much at all.
The immigration provisions in this bill are paid for by
charging foreign nationals more money when they want to come
to America. So by raising the fees on foreign nationals
who are seeking visas and other immigration benefits, we are
paying for the wall, for the ice officers, for the
(40:32):
border agents, for the pay raise the President Trump promise,
the ice officers, and the border ations. So we are
literally paying for the defense of the homeland by increasing
fees on those in other countries who want to come here.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
So it's a win win, just something to consider.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
There's a lot there, by the way, speaking of cuts,
and there will be some tax cuts eventually, there might
be have to be some spending cuts. Carla Wagner, our
guests on this Weekend's podcast, dives to it in depth.
I'll just give you a little taste of it. I'm
not going to play a lot because I didn't have
a chance to get to this on.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
The air today.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
I want to make sure that we do get to
it probably Monday, so that folks can hear this on
the radio too. But she fantastically nailed it. X tax
dot org and the movement is underway. There are collecting petitions.
We want to get an update on that, where you
can sign if you haven't already signed yet, and what
you need to know because I've had some questions asked
(41:27):
about this at at Evin and I was at last
week where folks were out we're collecting signatures for the petitions. Plus, Carli,
we got big stories that are breaking today and I
want to talk and walk through some of those. It's
the very same sort of scenario that we're seeing play
out with this story and ask my tax wanted to
get rid of property taxes and more. The stories continue
to unfold when we get those and get the latest.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
Now.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
There are also some questions, and some of these are
coloring from fair I think fair minded people that want
details on how this is all going to work. So
we're going to get those as well. Hey, I don't
know who made this, but Cardinal Welcome In. I saw
this today and I thought, man, that's this is a
really good piece.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
Is this something you guys did?
Speaker 6 (42:08):
I think it probably is.
Speaker 5 (42:10):
Yes, we are welcome in.
Speaker 6 (42:12):
We're getting very creative. We're getting very creative with all
of our a lot of graphics. We have some really
cool graphics downloadable graphics on our website and uh, we've
got some you know what that and justin there's there's
one that we just put out there, and this one
(42:33):
breaks my heart. It's called lose your spouse, lose your house,
oh man, because that's what's happening to our elderly people
when they because they're because they're elderly, they started working
a long time ago. You know, their income wasn't great,
their pensions, their social security isn't great, not near as
(42:54):
much as what people are making now today. They've paid
off their house, but they can't for the property taxes.
And when one of them passes away and they lose
that social security income or something, right, they're toast. They
have no options. They have no options. And look at
what happens when we force people into nursing homes, you know,
(43:16):
nursing homes or assisted living. Those costs are so exorbitant
that these elderly people can't afford to pay them. They
end up having to sell their house or so Medicaid
and Medicare whatever it is, kicks in that kind of stuff.
Their income from so long ago doesn't keep up with
the inflationary cost of today.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Carlo Wagner asks my tax We're going to get a
full update from her. That podcast drops this weekend. You'll
be able to get it live here and if I
would suggest it, you're part of that movement, get it out,
share it with folks so that they can hear it.
She answered some questions that I've never heard her see
answered before. I think she did a very good job
of laying it all out there for folks. Shots stay,
(43:59):
and she needs more folks to help circulate the petitions
and tells people where you can sign those petitions.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
Again.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
That'll drop tomorrow at nine. We'll try and get it
on the air also on Monday as well. So lots
lots still going on. That's some of the good news
