Speaker 1 (00:01):
Buy from Higher Top Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
We're talking about what matters most to you in West Michigan.
Join the conversation now at six one six seven seven
four twenty four twenty four. At six one six seven
seven four twenty four twenty four, it's West Michigan Live
with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Where good morning, another beautiful day. Well if it, if
it weren't for all that smoke in the sky, we'll
talk about that. How long we expect to last? At
least for now, And it's happening, folks. They have moved
to a panel, a grand jury. The folks involved with

(00:42):
Obama Gate are finally starting to feel it. The find
out era is upon us. I'm gonna break some of
this down for you, and you've got to hear an
election day in Michigan, some primaries. We'll talk about what's
on the ballot, what you need to know on election
use and traffic.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I'm his Stories of the day. We are talking about
what matters most in West Michigan and beyond. This is
the Big Three Now speak.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Three yeah, I think three. Powered by our good friends
at Heartland Home Mortgage and Stories you'll be talking about
around the water cool their dinner to go. No matter
where you are, reach out today at HHM Lending to
find out if they can help you when you want
to buy refy home equity line of credit. They've done
all three for us, and we say thousands each time.
They've got away of the team ready to help you

(01:34):
as we speak. Let make sure you reach out and
get the job done. And the way they are ready
to roll Yes number one, Thanks Obama. Officials are facing
the music, folks. A federal grand jurymen in paneled the

(01:55):
Department of Justice formerly opening up a federal grand jury
investigation in one. As I mentioned earlier, that is clearly
in line with the find out era. I understand you
want to wait and see what happens before we get
too excited, and I get it, But there is clear
evidence that they are moving forward on this a massive story,

(02:18):
one that may be the biggest in the history of
our country. Attempted coup, That's the way i'd put it.
The grand jury, the reason we know some of these
people involved in this mess may in fact really see
the justice they deserve, will be in paneled in Florid.

(02:39):
From what I'm hearing, which means at the end of
the day, look, they may actually get to it. Kit's
not going to happen in DC. They may actually see
the justice so many of us are hoping and pray for.
It really needs to happen to get the country back
on track. We'll have more on this, and in fact,
one of the details that I think is is most critical.

(03:01):
Did the entire story on the way Texas Democrats ran away.
They ran away to Illinois, Abbott threatening to arrest them,
the governor of Texas saying you don't get back here
and vote. You know, they've pulled this before. They're like
little kids when they don't get their way. They pulled
this before. They just they just I'm gonna take my

(03:22):
ball and go home kind of thing. They've ran to Illinois.
But again, like I said, they aren't under investigation and
may in fact lose their House seats. It's all because
a standoff that's occurred in Texas. Fifty Democrats state House
members leaving to go to Illinois because they don't Also

(03:44):
in New York and messagers they blue strongholds, they don't
want to give Republicans a quorum needed for the legislator
to get the approval of a gop redistricting plan, one
that would, if approved, probably add five Republican leaning congressional
seats ahead of the twenty twenty six midterms. That puts
Republicans nationwide in a really good spot. And folks all

(04:08):
across the country are looking at this plan. Other red
states and even bluestates fighting. You know this, They voted
yesterday to hold those folks accountable. We'll see what happens
in that story as well, coming up, you know the latest.
Who knows, but I will tell you I think they're
serious about this this time. Smoky sunshine in our skies

(04:32):
today again, Canadian wildfire smoke continues to cloud the skies
above West Michigan. And I don't know about you, but
I'm tired of it. Every single summer we have to
deal with this, triggering yet another air quality alert. It's
not just hey, it's not as nice outside because we
don't get to see the blue sky. Goush. We don't

(04:52):
stit to see the blue sky here in West Michigan
very often at all during the winter too. This is
all we get during the summer. Well, uh, you know
what's interesting to me is that there's very little word.
There's silence on all of this from the Democrats and Lansing.
To me, that's the worst part. Why, because this stuff

(05:15):
really matters. They're trying to shut coal plants down here
in West Michigan, power that we actually need here, and
at the end of the day, they don't have anything
to say for these folks in Canada. Yeah, let's talk
about that, because I think these folks are are well,
they're derelict in their duty. We'll run through why what

(05:39):
could and should be done?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
On the way Call Justin now at six one six
seven seven four twenty four twenty four. That's six one
six seven seven four twenty four to twenty four West
Michigan Live with Justin Barclay on News Radio Wood thirteen
hundred and one oh six nine a f M.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, I'm absolutely tired of it. It's it's look, I
just it's not just I'm looking at the window here
and you can't see a sunset. The sun rise looks horrible.
There's a hazing the sky. My Dnna ask me day Dad,
why is the sky like that? Four year old does
there's something wrong? But Dana Nessel can't be bothered to

(06:15):
figure this out. The Attorney general, she's fouled all these
lawsuits against the American people, of course, against you and me,
because we want to keep the campbell open. So we
have power here. These people who claim to be and
it's all afront, it's all a facade. They claim to be, uh,
you know, environmental activists and to care about the environment.

(06:38):
It said, But look at all this smoke they're sending
up into the air here. It's not helpful for you
and me, for anyone else. You step outside, the smells
like campfire. Even worse, it's like a chemical smell. And
guess what, there is no campfire, just Canadian wildfire smoke.
It's hanging over us like an unwanted HouseGuest. And why again,

(07:00):
we've got another air quality alert. You're supposed to stay inside,
stay outside during summer. This is the only reason we're
living in Michigan.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
It's these few months of the year that we get
and it's just so frustrating, so sad, avoid breathing the air,
maybe even.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Have to wear a mask. Any of this sounds familiar again,
This is what gets me. Our own government here in Michigan,
obsessed with shutting down coal fire plants masking us up
a few years ago. They're lecturing us about clean energy,
jacking up utility bills. It's true. Have you looked at
your power bill lately? They'll chase down farmers over cow emissions,

(07:47):
harassed small businesses over permits, try to control every last
thing you do in the name of shaving the plantage.
But what about these fires? Not a peep, not a
peep for what's burning across the border there in the
fifty first aig fires have been raging for years. Now,

(08:09):
where's the outrage, where's the emergency response? Most importantly, where
is the Attorney General Danan Essel? Where's Govenor Gretchen wimor
on even a statement on this? Again, the same Dana Essel,
who loves a press conference. She'll hold one to go
after a political opponent any They will tell you how
righteous relatest lawsuit is. But when it comes to the smoke,

(08:31):
the toxic ha is rolling in from a supposed friend
from the north, blanketing our skies, choking our kids on
the playground, it's silence, crickets, not a peep from Dana Neessl.
Why mean you tell me where is she? I'm living? Yeah,

(08:56):
there she is if a coal plant here in Michigan
for the half this pollution up in the ear, the
state would have it shut down at the heartbeat. They'd
find them, they'd soon probably drag them through them on
on every local newscast. But here gets Canada, and because
it's really doesn't fit the narrative, they just let it slide.
And the reason these wildfires have is Canada isn't taking

(09:17):
care like they should. Probably in the name of some
sort of endangered cricket or something else up there, I
don't know. It's the same problem California's had too. The
environments have gone so wacky that's come back to bite them.
Three years of this, folks, three years and if people

(09:39):
in charge can't even be bothered to the van answers,
much less solutions, I guess Gretchen Whitmer can't jump on
a jet and fly overseas to make some sort of
fancy trip, so they just let it go. Maybe they're
too pushing, too busy, pushing those green energy you know,
the green pipe dream, wind solar and unicorn farts ideas

(10:00):
to be bothered with any of this stuff. I guess
that's the problem. Too busy. They've at Greta. They can't
deal with is it too busy with those fantasies, They
can't deal with the real pollution. It floats in day
after day, right into our lungs, right in your own backyard.

(10:23):
It's not leadership, it's politics, and you and everyone else
here in Michigan is paying the price that I've had it.
So it's time to demand some action. I want to
hear from also the folks who are running in twenty
twenty six for these offices, particularly the gubernatorial candidates. Anybody
that has a hard stance on this ought to be
up and talking about it right now. I think it

(10:45):
may be the number one issue that we're facing in
the state as we speak. All right, step back, take
a breath, fill your lungs with smoke. Coming up, we're

(11:06):
going to talk about speaking of insanity. Millage is on
the ballot and places all across the state today. Carla,
Carla Wagner Acts my Tax is going to talk about
some of those and of course her stance, by the way,
Acts my Tax roll in full speed ahead, trying to
make it a little easier on folks here in Michigan
and cut some of those taxes back your property taxes.

(11:30):
We'll get conversation going on that right after this, but
first we'll check in with our good friends at the

(12:37):
as smoke continues to blanket the Detroit and other areas
here in Michigan as a result of the wildfires in Canada.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Welcome back in course, your chance to join in the
conversation eight times six one sixty seven heaven for twenty
four to twenty four talking about the Canadian wildfire smoke
and I've had it about you. Carl probably feels the
same way line one will squeeze him in this morning
than Carla Wagner on the way. Carl, good morning, you're
on West Michigan Life.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Good morning, good job as usual.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Justin thank you, sir.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
I think you can lay this problem right square in
a lap of the environmentalists. You can't clear cut or
cut underbrushure. I mean, if you cut a twig in
the forest, it can be arrested, you know. And I
think all this stuff to serve this school for the
fire and there's no good forest management. We've seen it
in California in other places. Yeah, it just goes up

(13:39):
and smokes, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
That's exactly the issue. It doesn't matter what Gret has
to say. It really proves though the point. And thank
you for the call. This, moll Carl. It proves the
point all of this, this smoking mirrors when it comes
to this environmental aspect. They don't really care about the environment.
They certainly know and care about you. It's politics as

(14:02):
usual way it is. Carlo Wagner Acts my Tax taking
a look today as a primary day. We've got several
folks through out the state voting on various different issues.
Milages on the ballot as well. Carla, good morning. I
know this is near and dear to your heart and
the folks that Acts My Tax who are busy dealing

(14:23):
with trying to get rid of those property taxes. Welcome in.
We appreciate you taking the time to be here with
us today.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
Hi Justin, once again, thank you so much for having me.
I always appreciate the opportunity to come on your show
and talk about property tax elimination. It's what Michigan needs
to move forward.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
So let's talk about that coming up. Parents say, but first,
today is another day. Folks may not even know they
have an opportunity to vote today and vote for or
against whatever it is that's on the ballot. But this
is kind of how they sort of sneak in some
of the more egregious taxes that we pay every year.

Speaker 6 (15:04):
Yeah, you're you're absolutely right, and you know what it's.
It's kind of a sneak attack, isn't it. I think
we've had elections in February May, now it's August, and
they keep doing these you know millages, you know, elections
for millages and things like that. People don't know about them.
They are not on people's radar. There's not a lot

(15:26):
of information put out about them. It really it really
leaves it kind of up to the people to, you know,
to be able to know to go to your county
website or your township website to see if there's going
to be a millage. But most people are kind of
unsuspecting and don't do that, so we need. One of
our messaging is everyone should ask for an absentee automatic

(15:49):
absentee ballot, because then you will be made aware three
to four weeks before the election that there is an
election coming up. Then you can research what on there
and hopefully you'll decide to vote no on all villages
and bond proposals. Because if we want to keep our
property available, I mean affordable, if we want to be
able to afford our property to be able to live

(16:12):
on it. We have to make our property taxes more
affordable until we can eliminate them. The only way we
can do that is by voting down millages and bond proposals.
And the other side to that is it forces those
entities that are getting our money to find a different
revenue sources. Property tax.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Thanks Lly Tax is looking to get on the ballot
here in twenty six and then you're working hard collecting
signatures right now. Probably still need some people to get
out there and circulate. How you guys doing so far?

Speaker 6 (16:45):
We are, You know what, it's amazing the number of
petitions and signatures that are coming in. It's truly, it's
truly amazing for a grassroots effort to be able to
do this. We don't have any paid circulators. We're not
paying people to circulate for us. This is up to
the people of the state of Michigan. And yes, we
you know what, The more the merrier, the more we

(17:07):
get new people signing up every day to help us circulate.
But we could use more. We we just want as
many as possible because we're not only asking them to
sign the petition, but we're educating them because We will
need them to vote later on, and we want them
to also spread the word. That's how that's how it

(17:29):
happens with grassroots. It's word of mouth. You don't have
the money to do any like statewide exposure, you know,
we certainly don't can't afford to do mailers and all
that other kind of stuff. It's social media and word
of mouth. That's how we spread the word about this.
This is how we save people's homes, farms, and businesses.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Carla Wagner AX my text if you want to find
out more AX M I T A X dot org.
On an election day. Some may not even know on
that today was an election day, Carl, And thank you
so much for taking a time to be here with us.
And heep is posted on the fight you you got
you to God bless say you have it folks. More
coming up tech talk with our good front Trenk, can

have the latest, well, the plans to put it on
the moon. We'll tell you about that. Speaking of power,
it's it's coming out. We'll get the latest on that
big tech news in moments. Yesterday we saw a jump
in the markets after a little bit of a reaction
to tariffs and jobs numbers over the weekend. What's the

(18:30):
market doing this morning? We got dial futures down just
to tick. Everything else looks pretty green. We'll get the
latest's markets open coming up this morning. But listen, you
don't have to, and you don't have to. It'll feel
like you're on a roller coaster ride all the time.
You can sleep well at night knowing that you're in
good hands. If you deal with the folks at Talinwealth

want to retire today, ten twenty years down the road,
they're gonna make sure that you're in good hands and
where you be when you want to be. Of course,
guarding your nest egg dot com is the way to
get on and find out how you can reach out today.
Call them at six one six sixty six one one thousand.

(19:15):
You call them at six one six six six one
one thousand are guarding your nest egg dot com. But
do it today before it's too late.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Informative Engigee. It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on
News Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one oh six nine after.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it's smoky out there.
They say they say tomorrow or the next day things
are going to clear up. That's a smoker. We're gonna
have to start doing smoke forecast every summer now. Oh
my goodness. Uh, it's it's nuts. And some of the pictures,

(19:53):
I don't know if you've seen the macdow Bridge picture
or if you've seen the well you just go out
sunrise or suns it's so it's so disturbing, and not
just the beauty that you can't see what's in the sky.
You can't see the blue sky itself, but the air
quality is a big, big issue too. More on that. Plus,

(20:15):
we just talked about this off the air for folks
watching them behind the scenes live stream when we are
streaming every day we're on the radio and the iHeartRadio
app and you can listen and watch it listen anywhere,
but you can also watch us as we have conversations
off the air with our good friends over in Facebook,
on Twitter, Ax, Rumble get Her Locals YouTube, lots of

(20:36):
different places to watch us. And again, we were just
talking off the air about this, but this is probably
the biggest story, maybe maybe in the history of the country.
And this is Obama Gate, and the grand Jury has
been impaneled. That means they're asking people to take a look.
Is there enough evidence to charge an individual or individuals

(21:00):
in this scenario. Folks, this is real, this is happening,
this is moving forward. And I know a lot of
folks black pill a lot of folks just sort of
sky is falling, nothing's ever gonna happen. I understand why.
But I'm here to tell you that we actually we
can see it. We can see it in progress. It's
happening right now now. Whether these people end up in
jail or not, whole other story. But it is a

(21:23):
big piece of news and maybe the biggest, like I said,
the biggest story in the in the history of this
kind of It's far bigger than Watergate. I'll tell you
that much. And look at the deal the press made
about that. So stay tuned. We'll cover that after we
take a listen to some of the biggest stories in
I think some of these big massive tech stories, some AI,

(21:45):
some social media. As I was just talking about.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Try Kenneby has the latest tack into the latest in
tech and how it affects you and your world. This
is Tech Talk Tuesday on Wood Radios, West Michigan Live.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Welcome in Trent. Can it be affordable eye store? Like
Michi can drive it? Stand down? And the folks at
Grant River Tech can help you. Whether it's a personal
device that'd be the affordable eye store. Maybe it's your business,
your organization helped getting a set up secure and making
sure everything works properly. Our good friend Trent will walk
you through those things. Hey, good morning, Welcome in Trent,

(22:19):
Come on in, justin. You know, I'm just looking at
some of these stores and I look at you know,
all of this's hard to understand when it comes to tech.
Maybe what the biggest piece is of the day, because
it all feels like we're moving so fast or drinking
from a fire hose. It's like every day there's something
new and big announced. What I think even above AI
because this will use AI and it'll be wrapped up

(22:41):
some of that, some of that will be wrapped up
in here. But how about this we get a story
and it looks like it's It looks like it's credible
from what I can tell that the Secretary of Transportation
Trump administration is planning to announce that they are going
to put a new clear reactor on the Moon. This

(23:04):
is incredible if it's a real story and if it
really happens, Trent, this is stuff out out of sci
fi movies.

Speaker 7 (23:14):
Yeah, justin it is. It's definitely Duffy has an interest
in this. He's the head of NASA, and NASA obviously
has a lot of interest in this because a nuclear
reactor on the Moon would provide them with the power
needed for a moon base. It would provide them with
a power needed for surveillance, supervision of the Moon, of
who's sending stuff there, who's doing things there. We got

(23:36):
so many people trying to put probes on the Moon
and do different things with it, and as well as
a national security thing, justin if we don't have any
permanent infrastructure with a power supply there, there's no way
to defend turf on the moon claim space on the Moon.
So that's really the story about this is not some
creepy technology or what they're doing on the Moon. It's

(23:56):
more of a national security thing of who owns the moon,
who owns space on the Moon. And this isn't a
first official tempt to plant something there that's that's permanent,
that can be monitored and not necessarily defended yet with
boots on the ground, but to start that process, if
we own space on the Moon.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
It'll be robot boots on the surface of the moon. Trample.
Let me ask you though, because you know and you
said NASA, I forgot. They did make him the head
and it's also the Secretary of Transportation, but he's the
head of NASA now too. But the very good point,
I mean there's security implications obviously there, but also nuclear

(24:36):
power in space. That's a pretty big story.

Speaker 7 (24:39):
Correct, justin I mean that really nuclear is the future
for us here on Earth. It's the future for space
because it's incredibly long term power that's that's fairly low
maintenance and very reliable. And we've had nuclear powered space
ships out there for many years, and we're going to
have more and more of these small, containerized, self contained
nuclear actors that we could put it just about anywhere.

(25:01):
And so if this technology works on the Moon, it
could be used for Mars, it could be used for
a large asteroids or something. It's a very futuristic thing.
And this is just step one.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Keep an eye on this obviously every day, like I say,
drinking from a firehouse and tech announcements everywhere else. It
really is interesting, by the way, speaking of intelligence and
collection and tech, lots of different folks in the Trump administration,
at least Trump administration one point zero, I've been getting

(25:36):
messages or got them before returning to the serf in
the government that they were being surveilled in the Google
essentially was sending all kinds of information to the federal
government without their knowledge at all, which is really chilling.
This is the lawfare, This is the tech implications of

(26:00):
Big Brother at that time, and it's a story that
just came out in the last week. I think Dan
Scavino was the first one to confirm this. This is
just wild.

Speaker 7 (26:11):
Yeah, justin this is wild because technology ushers in ways
that we can be monitored and surveilled that we're completely
not envisioned in specific form by our founding fathers. Obviously
conceptually it was, but not in vision in our legal system.
Our judges, our court systems are not used to separating

(26:32):
reasonable search and warrants and that kind of thing in
the digital world, and just an email and email service
have been around for ages, what twenty thirty plus years now,
and they still don't have a good handle on that.
Think of when more and more advanced AI AI technology
is out there that takes very personal information that you
would think as personal should be personal, like your inbox

(26:55):
and your email is essentially public knowledge because of all
the AI things that crawl that document that and have
access to that. So very strange time that we live
in where the court system, the legal system is light
years behind the pace of technology data access.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yeah, it really is fascinating. You know. Look, we were
on the other side of this. We got shut down,
we got locked out, we got canceled. By the way,
I talked to Michael Lindl yesterday. We had a great conversation.
You'll be hearing that in the podcast later this week.
Some clips of it too. But this guy's you talk
about getting canceled and everything. They ran him through the ringer.

(27:37):
It is. It's wild what they've been doing to folks
behind the scenes. All right, let me do We'll only
have time for maybe like one more or two stories,
and maybe maybe I'll do this one, because we're talking
about the future of where everything is headed and what
things ought to look like coming up in the years ahead.

(27:58):
How about this one. This this is a story about
robots picking your fruit. Robot hands anyway, they say, we'll
be picking your fruit in the coming days ahead. They
need people for a lot of things right now. But
you know, we've got this Automation and Robotics convention that
happens every year in our own backyard. Maybe we'll get

(28:18):
one of these guys on to talk about some of
the advancements that are being made. They're not there yet,
but this type of thing is coming. They're working on it.

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Yeah, justin These robots have the ability to hand pick fruit,
and not only hand pick them, but also select them
based on the size, based on the ripeness, based on
the color deficiencies. They can leave things that are not
quite ripe yet. They can select the size and sorting
and do all that much better than a human can.
And yes, it's not all there yet because of the

(28:48):
cost and scale of this, but the technology to do
it certainly is there. The robotic machines and systems are
certainly there. It's just going to take another couple of
years for this to get scaled up to the point
where your average a blueberry farmer or strawberry farmer is
going to be able to afford this technology, and then
in another couple of years where it's actually much cheaper
than manual labor, and those jobs of picking strawberries, blueberries, blackberries,

(29:13):
even apples and trees, cherries, all the fruit that we
have around here is going to certainly be picked by
robots in five, ten years something like that.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
It's just hard to imagine, but yeah, that world is
around the corner of people asking like what should we
tell our kids to do now? I think it was
last week or the week before we covered, but there's
a high demand. Five hundred thousand electricians are going to
be needed in the coming years. Plumbers, that type of
thing to the trades are a big, big piece of that.
And you know, this just goes to show AI and

(29:44):
robotics working together where things might be headed. Okay, one
other quick thing, because I think this just shows you
where we are with technology and it's just another warning sign.
Something strange just happened with somebody that rented an airbnb.
I've done this for it's it's it can be better
than a hotel, depending upon where you are and what

(30:05):
you need. But a lot of times, you know, I
just stick with hotels. But Airbnb has another issue, another problem. Uh,
there's a traveler who booked with them hit with a
seven thousand dollar repair bill that that wasn't owed. The
host claimed they did all kinds of damage. Turns out
the pictures the host used and submitted weren't real Trent,

(30:30):
they were AI.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
Yeah, justin we've not seen this trend before. Yes, somebody
was very dishonest from what it looks like from how
the story you know reports it. Somebody took pictures of
their apartment or whatever they were renting out and put
all sorts of damage in there, and the damage looked
very real because it's actual pictures. And fortunately in this case,
the AI was was poor enough quality that they the

(30:53):
renter person the victim saw this say hey, this is
this isn't real. This is some some bad photo shopping,
some bad AI at work here. But it goes to
show when you have a system like Airbnb that's relying
on just simply submitted pictures that can be faked with
no verification process. It's the same with your package deliveries.
If you have a package delivery and there's supposedly a

(31:16):
picture on your porch, you know how easy it is
to photoshop a box on your porch. Oh yeah, any
sophistication to the person who's doing that. Anybody can jump
on their iPhone or Android phone for that matter and
do that. So we have to be wary. We have
to be not just sit back and be like, Yep,
I'll pay whatever, I'll accept whatever happen. If we believe
that something didn't happen, we're pretty confident of that, we

(31:39):
can push back. There's ways to do that, common sense.
We can't just sit back and let this AI world,
whoever wants to scam us ruin us.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
This is the latest warning for what you have to
be on the lookout. We're trying to keep you up
to date on stories like this and more of the
big and even in the weeds thirty thousand foot you know,
skyview and the dirt as well. Always a pleasure drink,
Can it be affordable? Lize Store, Lake Michigan Drive and
stand Dale always a pleasure. Grand River Tech another way

(32:08):
that they can help you if you need help in
the sort of the bigger scope of things as well, organizations, churches,
that sort of thing. Trent, always a pleasure. Thank you
so much for taking the time to be here with
us today.

Speaker 7 (32:20):
Thanks Justin, have a great day.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Hey you got it, you too, God bless and more
on the way, folks, don't go anywhere. Like I said,
I want to break down the Obama Gate. Some of
the details that are coming out right now are well,
the grand jury impaneled downright wild it's happening. DOJ finally

(32:42):
getting a grand jury together where it's where it's set
to be and why I think this might actually move
the needle. Coming up after this.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
We're the truth Sason's Negotiable. It's West Michigan Live with
Justin Barclay on news Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one
oh six nine.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Here are your headlines from the Midwestern Or this Tuesday,
August fifth.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I'm Robin Hoffman.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
It's a Midwesterner dot News original story with all of
the serious issues here in Michigan, Democrat Governor Whitmer is
posting about phishing on her ex page. She's promoting Michigan's
first ever big Fish Week. Trying to be cute, she writes,
things are about to get real. In her top post
a picture of Whitmer wearing a vest and holding a
blue piece of paper. She writes, bigfish beware, I'm officially licensed.

(33:30):
Explanation point. Who's joining me on the water? Our abortion
obsessed governor finds herself in a bad spot. A recent
analysis of the best and worst states to have a
baby in twenty twenty five shows most states ranking higher
than Michigan. The study conducted by personal finance website wallet hub,
which evaluated things like pediatric care. Michigan ranking twenty ninth

(33:52):
in this survey. In other news, a report that China
preparing to invade Taiwan and it's a situation that could
pose problems for Governor Whitmer and her business partner, Goshen,
the company with direct ties to the Chinese Communist Party
the CCP, which wants to build that EV battery component
plant in Macosta County. For these stories and more, visit

(34:13):

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Yeah, getting out to join the summer while you can
despite the smoky skies. Uh, this is this is one
of those days you're gonna want to get it. Yesterday
was so beautiful, God so much done. Got a chance
to spend some time outside playing with the kids. And uh,
and then they went on a bug hunt. I thought, Now,

(34:42):
my little girls, I thought foreign to Then I thought
they didn't like bugs. There you see a bug and screaming. Now,
yesterday this said, what are you go on a bug hunt?
Whether you're hunting for bugs or you're hunting for some
sunshine and a view of the water. Whatever you want
to do this summer, make sure that you can do it. Wow,
we still have time right, there's still a few few

(35:04):
weeks left as we can really enjoy. We got to
make it count, make it last, but do it without pain.
The folks at the Good Feed Store really helped me
get back on track. And whether it's taking my walks
daily or running around on a bug hunt with my kids,
you know, I just feel better than ever. My pain
is gone ever since I walked into the Good Feet Store.

(35:26):
They help me get fit with personalized art supports that
just could feel the pain go away right away, whether
it's foot pain, back pain, leg pain. Maybe they can
help you. Head into the Good Feed Store today at
twenty eighth Street, right in front of Costco, or in
Portage on Westage in front of Colson. See if they
can help you like they've helped me at the Good

(35:48):
Feet Store. Get back to feeling your best, live life
to the fullest, pain free at the Good Feet Store.
They do it today. Stop wasting time. You got a
whole summer. You could be out there enjoy Obama Gate.
They are talking about this. It's very serious, and folks,
I don't like I said, I break this down as

(36:09):
much as I can for you so you can understand
what is really at risk here and what is happening.
So and then a lot of people sort of frustrate this.
It's not a lot of movement, not a lot of
things happening. Well, it turns out there is. Last night,
we just turned a federal grand jury been paneled. And
by the way, it looks like from everything I'm hearing,

(36:32):
it's going to be in Florida. You know, they never
get a conviction, they'd never even get an indictment. I
don't think in DC. But in Florida it's a whole
nother ball of wax. And why can't they do it
in Florida? Well, because they rated mar A Lago major
mistake and they say that was all part of this
Obama game.

Speaker 8 (36:49):
We'll going to be with you. This is coming out
of the Justice Department. Fox News can confirm that Attorney
General Pam Bondi today signed an order directing an unnamed
US federal prosecutor to take evidence to a grand jury
relating to an alleged conspiracy to tie the twenty sixteen
candidate Donald Trump to the country of Russia.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
This is a grand conspiracy. What they're working on is massive.
This is the find out era, folks. I've told you,
I've warned on this, and I know there are lots
of folks apprehensive, maybe a little frustrated. We're not seeing
anything happening as fast as we'd like to see that
this is it. Buckle up, it's happening, all right. We'll

(37:34):
see where it goes, following for you every move. In fact,
I'll unpack this a little bit further in the after show.
