the national security angle, as we just talked with Robin Poffman,
uh and she brought up one of the reporters there
the AP at the time, September eleventh, a big opportunity.
We may may have missed that last night to talk

You know, Ramin just brought this up, an opportunity that
may have been missed. But on the on the eve
of the twenty third anniversary of September eleventh, in those
horrible attacks on this nation, we had the maybe the
opportunity to point this out. And I think it's still there.
That this border is wide open. We're less safe than

ever before, national security concerns and implications like we've never seen.
We've been told by our own FBI and other federal
agencies that these threats are very serious and very credible,
and yet this administration Biden Harris the rest of them. Boy,

they just they've done absolutely nothing to close that border
down and to secure this country.

Oh absolutely, I mean, if you think about it, there's
as many as and I heard the chairman of the
Foreign Affairs Committee, Mike McCall from Texas talk about the
fact that there are at least ISIS members and these
are the only ones that we know. This doesn't count
god away, as it doesn't count about people who are
illegally smuggling themselves across trying not to get caught or

processed in who are stone cold ISIS members who were
imprisoned at one time in Afghanistan. Excuse me, Joseph. That's
a huge problem for US. And we don't know where
they are, we don't know what names they're operating under. It.
We just have no idea. We know that they have
an interest to hurt the United States. And that's just
eight And when you think about how many that have

come across the border with hamasties, these folks were ISIS K,
which is a particularly nasty brand of al Qaeda. I mean,
and they're in the country and the FBI says, yeah,
we know that, and now we were trying to find them.
I mean that alone should tell you why an open
border is so dangerous for us. And there are hundreds
of people on the terrorist watch list that they catch

and we get, you know, a couple million gutaways that
we don't know who they are. We don't have a
chance to process them or a chance to identify them.
I mean, this administration is so dangerous for our personal safety,
in our national security safety. And I do think, you know,
I wish we could have brought that home a little
stronger last night, because you know the fact that you

can't take your kids to the park, thank you Democrats,
in an open border, the fact that we are now
entangled in the Middle East and the Iran is attacking
our base around the Middle East, that they're attacking certainly
our friends and allies in Israel. I mean, all of
this is related to really bad decisions based on this administration,

and it's dangerous and everything every light we have is
blinking red. Like we've got a problem here, Houston bike.

Rider's with us right now? The contrast never been more clear,
speaking of national security. In the last several days, your
opponent Shanghai sluckin is I like the caller has come
out kind of flip flopped on one of those big,
major national security issues here in the state of Michigan.
It's become a major part. I'm surprised we didn't hear
more about it last night, but that's probably because the

moderators were busy fact checking every syllable that came out
of President Trump's mouth and not a one out of
Kamala harrismouth. But I think the point is this, Americans
are concerned, and particularly those in Michigan, about the focus
and the influence of China on our nation. It is

a major issue. You just teld a press conference here
with other folks who are working hard in the state
of Michigan to protect us and get things back on track.
But again, she just came out and flip flop. It's
nice that she did that. I would I'd love to
see her maybe that disclose what was in that NDA
she signed and make a pledge to to join others

in the fight to kick this this Chinese communist a
link battery plant out of Michigan altogether.

Yeah, and if you look at the series of events
here justin why this is so bad, and you know
it's it's you know, political is a cad to. You know,
you only come out at election time. Listen, this thing
has been steaming across and rolling over Michigan workers. This
Goshen plant where they gave them cash and prize is
worth over a billion dollars one hundred and seventy five

million dollars in cast a. The Democrats, uh, and then
tax credits to bring a Chinese company to Michigan, to
bring Chinese engineers to Michigan to develop their technology in Michigan.
And oh, by the way, eighty five percent of that
electric vehicle component has to be processed in China. I mean,

we need to take a step back and look at
what the whole package of Democrat policies have done. And
by the way, in this Goshen case, my opponent signed
a non disclosure agreement to help facilitate those cash and
prizes going to Goshen, a Chinese company to locate just
outside of Big Rapids, Michigan. And what we found out
(05:39):
was they actually circumvented something called Sithius. So the Treasury
was supposed to do a Scifius review, meaning a national
security review. Well we know according to the former CIA
director for Barack Obama, that it's about one hundred percent
chance that they're going to use this facility to infiltrate
a Chinese espionage agent to Michigan. And of course we
(06:01):
know Grayling is nearby and other things. I don't think
it can pass a SITIS test. And then, by the way,
my opponent also took money from Chinese foreign agents associated
with the company and had communications with them about this thing,
and they have to file that, and they did. And
her name is as bright as in there as you
can imagine. And so you start looking at it and go,
(06:24):
this thing stinks to high heaven. They knew what they
were doing. You know. My thing is they should at
least have the courage to come out and say why
they think a Chinese Communist Party plant should be in
Michigan at the expense of auto workers. Tell me why,
tell me why you think that's a good idea. They can't.
And so what they do is they all go, well,
I was for it right before I was against it,
(06:46):
and this is dangerous. And the reason all of this
happened is because they said, I'm going to pick the
car that our American car builders are going to build,
and I'm going to pick the car that you have
to buy. Don't care if it's good for you or
your family, don't care if the electric grid can handle it,
don't care that it's not good for the environment. Chinese
in order to meet demand for all of this, are
(07:08):
building two coal fire plants a week. I mean, you
start going through this and this thing is awful. But
that's why they had to do it. I mean, that's
why you can't let them get away with say, Okay, well,
I guess I'm now it didn't even say she's opposed
to it, by the way she said, I guess that
would be for a security review. Really, I thought you
were a national security CIA expert. You should have known
that well before this started. And it's maddening because the

Democrats just can't get over the fact that they are
feeding one seventh of our economy to the Chinese and
that will mean less jobs in Michigan for our auto workers.
And that's what's so dangerous about this whole thing.

you want an electric vehicle, buying one, but the point
of turning the entire industry upside down and telling these
people what they must make and of course finding them,
and of course that resulting at job lost one hundred
and twenty three thousand jobs altogether, thirty seven thousand of

those in Michigan. And last time we talked, I think
you made the point too. It's not just those auto
industry jobs. It's all of the jobs that surround them.
It's the guy who's got the restaurant next to the
plant where the guys come and they eat lunch.

At every day.

It's all of these folks that support and it has
massive impact on our economy. And this is not going
to end well for us here in Michigan unless we
turn this thing around and get things back on.

You take thirty seven thousand, I think the number is higher.
The Ford CEO said, forty percent less labor. We have
one point one million jobs associated with building these gas engines,
gas engine vehicles, and that's people who are building parts

and components and all those other things. Well, guess what,
you don't need all those parts and components anymore. You
just do the basic math of forty percent. That's four
hundred thousand jobs just in Michigan. Because they're not building
they don't have to build the same parts. They don't
have to build the same components for these cars. You
do that, Guess what. Your house is worth less money,
(09:38):
Your business is worth less money. Your kids can't wait
to pack their stuff and get in the car and
drive anywhere out of Michigan as fast as they can
because their energy prices now are so high because we've
screwed up the delivery of energy in the state in
a way that you know keeps your prices low. You
can't make you grow your paycheck. Go to the end
of the month, you find yourself in a food pantry.

This is that election where you look at your neighbor
who said, oh, I don't know, I don't like Donald Trump.
He says mean things. Listen, I get that. I'll let
me tell you this. If we don't elect Donald Trump
and we don't put Mike Rogers into the United States
Senate so we take control, we're in trouble in the
next four years. Your business, your prosperity, your future is
(10:22):
in trouble. And these policies are all wrapped around these
really bad, bad decisions. And they just keep as long
as they keep throwing middle class in there and saying
I have a plan, they're hoping you're not paying attention.
This stuff is dangerous for the future of our economics
here in the state of Michigan. I mean, if they
want to be California representatives and California governor, go to California,

have at it, but don't bring that stuff here. It's
dangerous for who we are. And guess what. It's not
good for the environment, it's not good for the economy,
it's not good for the middle class. And you know
Paris last night, if you look at that and thought that,
you feel better about where the economy is going. The
only thing she had a plan for was to tell
you I have a plan. That's the plan, and give
(11:09):
fifty thousand dollars tax credit to a new business. How
about the businesses that are struggling under the weight of
all these new costs you've given us Democrats to try
to keep my doors open. I don't need a fifty
thousand dollars to go somebody who wants to start a
business somewhere. I need relief now so I can keep
my people employed. I mean, we ought to be angry
(11:30):
about this. We ought to be angry about the fact
that we had a young girl raped in Oakland County,
a sexual assault in Livingston County, Ruby Garcia killed by
an illegal All of those were hurt and injured by
illegal immigrants. Fentanyl deaths three thousand because of an open border.
The fact that eight isis people are in this country
(11:50):
right now. We don't know where they are. Coming up
onto the celebration, the anniversary of nine to eleven, we
should be angry. I don't know how we can. We
can cannot zombie walk this election. We got to get
fired up. If we're going to take our country and
put it back on track, this is the time to
do it. This is the time to get engaged in politics.
