Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, listen, what I why I was so worked up
and kind of still am today more than anything else,
is there's just a I got this bone inside of me.
It's just part of my course. I love truth. I
hate the fact, especially when I see it, knowing how
the sausage is made, being a part of it on
the inside for so many years. Uh, the fake news,

(00:20):
and I just can't stand to see it, and especially
in a point. Look, it's one thing you hate Donald Trump.
It's a whole other thing. Uh when I think we've
got actual people and lives on the line, and you
hate Donald Trump. Now, they're brave military women, the men
and women who went and of course took out these

(00:43):
nuclear fastilities in Iran, and the courage that it took
to go on this mission, flying thirty six hours in
those B two bombers and the bombs that were specifically
developed for this mission, and all of the things that
went into it. They've been training ten years to get
this thing done. They finally do it. They finally got
some money with the way of US run shows to

(01:03):
get it done. And this is how the media treats it.
There's something about it that utterly discussed me in fact,
that's part of what I wanted to have a conversation
about today with our good friend James Dixon down I
seventy five might call him a media specialist. He too
has been on the inside and seeing how the sausage

(01:25):
is made, and he quite frankly and often speaks out
about those things. James, welcome in. I appreciate you being
here with us today.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Hey, good morning, Justin. Good to hear your.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Voice down I seventy five over on X and you'll
find him on the Michigan Enjoy your podcast. Here's what
just took place this morning. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth
not showing any favorites, in fact, going right after Fox
News owned who he said got it wrong this weekend.
And we'll talk about why this matters and how it

(01:54):
was so obvious to me that what we were watching
unroll yesterday was a hoax. And they fall for them
every time, these news operations and I shouldn't even call
them news, but these operation propaganda organizations, they are enemies.
Trump has made this point. If they're doing it on purpose,

(02:15):
I mean, that's pretty bad. But if they're doing it
and they don't get it right and they don't know,
and they're not smart enough to figure out that they're
doing the work of the enemy. I don't know. Maybe
that's even worse. Here's what happened this morning, Hilien rich uranium.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Do you have certainty that all the highly enrich uranium
was inside the four Dome Mountain or some of it?
Because there were satellite photos that showed more than a
dozen trucks there two days in advance. Are you certain
none of that highly enriched uranium was moved.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Of course, we're watching every single aspect, But Jennifer, you've
been about the worst, the one who misrepresents the most intentionally.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
I know what the President says.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
I'm familiar about the ventilations chefs on Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
She is not happy about this, And in fact.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I was the first to describe the B two bombers,
the refueling, the entire mission, which great accuracy. So I
take issue with that.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
I appreciate you acknowledge that the first, the most successful
mission based.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
On operational security that this.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Department has done since you've been here, and I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Absolutely, we're looking at all aspects. He calls her out
and say, Jennifer you've been about the worst on this
entire ordeal, and about misrepresenting what the president has said.
And by the way, that's what all of this boils
down to, misrepresenting intelligence reports, misrepresenting the facts, not giving

(03:40):
them all in their entirety and the context of what
we're looking at. It all boils down to spend and
fake news. And they hate the president so much that
they're willing to put the lives of our brave men
and women they're fighting for this country and and others
at risk. They just don't care. They hate him that much.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
You know, justin what I find incredible about this is
that they're bad at propaganda too. We knew they were
bad at news. And the distinction I would make is
that news tells you things you don't know. Propaganda tells
you what to think about things, so you might agree
with it or disagree with it. But propaganda exists to
change your mind. And that's what they were trying to

(04:24):
do and what they try to do by releasing these
half reports. And oh, this intelligence report says this. There
was no reason to believe what they were saying, that
these strikes were not effective. It was way too early
to have known something like that, which means they weren't
reporting the truth. They were telling you what they wanted

(04:44):
you to think.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Do you think we ever see an end to this?
I mean, this administration has been pretty crafty about how
they have handled some of these things. In fact, yesterday
when they were at NATO, I thought Trump had one
of the most measured responses to everything, and he was

(05:08):
sort of in a different He had a bit of
a different and very presidential globe, but he had it
was in a different sort of leadership role on the
world stage. Uh. You know, I'm I'm not saying that
he didn't and wasn't straightforward about certain things, but to
this particular subject, he said, you know, to have a
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth come up and speak about it,

(05:31):
and heg Seth read them the Riot Act Again. You
got more of that today in the press conference there
at the briefing at the Pentagon. But it is to me, uh,
it was very obvious what we were watching play out yesterday.
I made the point on this. I don't think it

(05:51):
could be any more clear. But do do you think
I mean, the American people seem like they're waking up
to then let me just give I'll throw this out
there and then you can you can comment. But James,
they's got new pulling out, so you know, look, we
know a bit of how people think about this is
a nineteen point margin. Stunning new poll finds a huge

(06:14):
nineteen point margin. Americans approve of President Trump's bombing and
obliterating Rand's nuclear facilities fifty eight to thirty nine percent.
On the ceasefire, Trump has an approval rating of plus
forty six points. It's sixty six to twenty percent on
the ceasefire. So people like this this strength right, this

(06:37):
this piece through strength idea, and they like the fact
that President Trump is the leader despite again what the
fake news tries to pull off on a daily basis.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
And think about what the media is trying to do here.
So by saying that Iran's nuclear program was not obliterated,
what they're admitting is that Iran has a nuclear program
that would need to be obliterating, which into the Iranian argument.
Their argument is we don't have it. It's just for

(07:08):
peaceful if they're mostly peaceful nukes. For these mostly peaceful nukes,
we obliterate them. And then you do you tell me
that the Iranian nuclear program hasn't been sent back what
Iranian nuclear program? So they're not even smart enough to
be internally consistent. We're supposed to be saying that Iran

(07:29):
doesn't have these and it's Iraq. It's out in search
of ghosts and weapons of mass destructures that don't exist.
He's not supposed to say that he didn't get all
of them. If anything in their argument is one that
would lead to more strikes, it doesn't invalidate the struct
that did happen.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, and it's a really interesting point, James Dixon with
us right now down I was seventy five overrun X
and also at the should get enjoy your podcast. Well,
you know, the the interesting thing to me is they
Trump has a single handed lead that gotten them to
admit this. Uh As, as you mentioned previously, he really

(08:11):
hadn't you know. They they hadn't had any actual admission
that this thing was. It's just well it's they wanted
for their their nuclear you know, energy is what this
is all about. And so now we've got them doing
a complete money But are the people. Are the people
catching onto this as I guess when I'm what I'm
really asking and I'm and I'm concerned, and I don't know.

(08:32):
It's a different area, but you know, New York City,
just you get through the primary, this extremist Muslim and
communist U who could end the being the mayor of
New York City.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
You know, I think this is one of those things
for weak men heart make hard times. And someone made
this great point on Twitter that socialism is like pultio
at this point, it's been along since people had a
real brush with it if they don't think it's a
real threat anymore. So I think New York City is
gonna end up being our guinea pig. And you know,

(09:10):
I've never been a fan of New York, but even
if you do have offendedy for it, I think this
is one of those cases where people need to go
through hard times to realize we voted ourselves into this
problem and now we have to save ourselves. Yeah, no
one has a right to it. Eternally stable and rich

(09:32):
New York City. It could all go away.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I will say, and I fully believe this. We are
officially in the find out era, and we're gonna find
out and real quick, and unfortunately, the people that are
gonna be hurt, the most by this are probably some
of the people that voted for this guy that can
afford it. They'll leave, They'll just leave and they and
they won't come back. Hey, yesterday, let's talk Lansing. Uncle

(10:00):
his head was there talking about hunting and why he
lit up the DNR.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
That's insanity and the people who enforce it and create
these policies would qualify as insane. And they've ran people
out of this state. An eighteen year old boy who
got into bowhunting because of my TV show got a
ticket because his bowl case wasn't zipped up. There's a
law in Michigan that wildlife policy has to be based

(10:27):
on science. What's the science of a bowl case? That's immoral.
The DNR and the NRC have chased families out of
the sport over absolutely insane, anti nature, anti science regulations.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
You know, it's it's not just a DNR, It's not
just these these organizations. I mean, it's every bit of
government what he's talking about. When you have progressive when
you have these crazies at the helm, this is exactly
what you do. You chase people away, chasing business out
of the state. It's an example, this is an umbrella

(11:09):
for everything.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Really, they view us as a problem to be solved
or a deep pocket to reach into for tax revenues.
It would never occur to them to serve us. They
disdain us too much. We're talking about both parties now,
and so I think, you know, this next election cycle,
we need to talk about the August primary and the

(11:32):
November election, because yes, I'd like to think that, you know,
Republicans are closer to the answer, but it's clear to
me that which Republicans we send is just as important.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Well, let's tell you that I really believe this twenty
twenty sixth election, and I've said I'll say it again.
Just just like I thought that twenty four election was
going to have a massive impact on the nation, I
do believe the twenty sixth election will have the very
similar impact on the state. It's this is this is

(12:05):
do or die. This We're at a crossroads here, whether
we take this state back or not, whether we have
a thriving Michigan, a place where business can be confident
to come in, a place where people can feel like
they've actually got the freedom and liberty to create whatever
life that it is that they want to create, or
workplace that continually drives people away. That's it's all on

(12:27):
the line here in twenty six here in Michigan.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
In twenty twenty seven, we will be a different state.
We will either be a state that's in hospice and
then it's last year's and it's last days, yeah, or
it's going to be a new era. It's going to
be mourning in Michigan again. And so you know, we
kind of need to talk over this next year and
a half about both. We need to talk about the
carrot and the sick. We need to show people the ledge.

(12:52):
This is what's possible if you stay on the current
course and think that things are fine. But this is
what's possible if you choose to save your state. You
can't do it for Donald Trump this time, only for
yourself and your family.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
James Dixon down I seventy five over on X and
as always, Michigan enjoying podcast. Appreciate you taking the time.
What are y'all working on? Anything, Biggie want to promote
before we let you go.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Good stuff we're gonna be talking about. Don't just say no.
It's the approach to ranked choice voting and anything else.
Oh yeah, if you don't support it, just say no,
just saying up.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Speaking of which ranked choice voting, you talk about a nightmare. Hey,
thank you brother. I appreciate you as always my friend.
Thank you, Justin God bless
