Speaker 1 (00:00):
She was one of the folks involved in fact, had
our life turned upside down in this whole ordeal with
Dan and Nessel over the last several years. Marion Sheridan's
on the phone line with us right now, first and foremost,
and thank you so much for being here with you today,
and congratulations on a big win. Yeah, I can't imagine

(00:24):
what you guys, everything you've been through.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, well, thank you so much. And uh, you know
it's the support has been amazing through these past two years. Uh,
and that really has sustained so many of us. So
I really, you know, I really appreciate that. My my
initial reaction when it was dismissed was, yes, I'm relieved,

(00:50):
but I'm also I'm I'm just mad that something like
this can happen in America. Yeah. And you know, if
I just tell your audience very quickly that what we
did was sign an alternate slate because there was so
much going on with the twenty twenty election, sixty cases

(01:12):
going through the courts, we didn't know if the election
got turned over. We wanted to protect Michigan and make
sure that our electoral votes counted, and we had to
do it this way. But what Dana Nessel did is
she flipped the wording from alternate to fake and then

(01:32):
push that fake elector hoax out to the mainstream media,
who just lapped it up.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yes, very much, very much. And I'm a little bit
justin I'm even more disturbed this morning to learn that
one of the electors who was prepping for her surgery
yesterday while we were in court, passed away. Oh no,
so you know, I only pray that he uh was

(02:02):
able to at least learn of the news that his
name had been cleared. Uh. So our prayers are with
his family, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
To to that point, Marion Sheridan with us right now.
One of the folks who faced uh, these these I
think this persecution during this time, during this law fair
uh the people that were involved in this, these alternate
electors and and and essentially we've talked about this. If
you're new to this, you may not have heard this before,

(02:35):
but this is this precedent for this, It's been done before.
There was nothing out of the ordinary about this. In fact,
it was very shocking to find out that this, uh,
this had taken place. And you know, when I when
I see it and you actually examine who all like yourself,

(02:55):
but there were very other the other various people that
we're older for. They were just you know, seasoned citizens
as they say, And these are just people doing their
suvic duty. I mean these weren't criminals.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, no, not not. You know, Judge Kristen Simmons clearly
saw that basically we were being set up. And not
only was there not enough to send evidence to send
it to a jury trial, there was no evidence of
criminal intent, which is so key to the whole basis

(03:30):
of the charges. So she wisely dismissed all eight felonies,
which justin you probably realize this. Uh, this almost never
happens with selony charges in a pre exam, so it's
so highly unusual that a judge, and by the way,

(03:50):
she's a whit mirror appointee. Uh, this is not they
can they can't say that this was a Republican Uh.
And I've noticed on CNN, Dana Enough has been out there,
you know, calling us liars that CNN if if it
had been a Republican judge who had dismissed these charges,

(04:11):
that would have been all over their their statement. But
they don't mention that this is Governor Whittener is appointed judge.
So it's just, you know, more more of how the
mainstream media twisted the narrative to suit, you know, the
way they wanted to sound.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Brian Shard, one of the ultimate electors are now cleared,
name cleared, freed, the next steps I'm sure you know. Look,
it's just at this point there's a couple of things
that have to happen, and you know, forgive and forget
that can be down the road, maybe forgive, never forget,
but in this situation, I would imagine it's most responsible

(04:53):
to make sure that the you know, actions brought here
and I don't know if you even want to speak
about this right now, but that to ensure that this
type thing doesn't happen again and deture folks from ever
trying this again. So I would look at clearing your name,
but also recouping the expenses everyone had to endure. It
goes through this.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's just I think it was. Yes, there was tens
of thousands into hundreds of thousands, because each elector had
to had to get their own attorney, and when you
sit in a courtroom with you know, several other people
in their attorneys, your case isn't brought forward, but you're

(05:35):
sitting there for hours. We went to for my pre exam,
we were in court for six and a half days. Now,
it doesn't take much to do the math on paying
your attorney to sit there for six and a half days.
You know, the amount of retirement savings or any any

(05:56):
money that you can scrape together to pay for your defense.
Because you're looking at eight felonies and potentially eighty four
years in prison for signing an alternate slate.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
It just is unthinkable. Please keep us posted as far
as the next steps here are concerned. Marian Sheridan with
us right now, one of those alternate electors from twenty
twenty having her name cleared, and thank god for that.
I'm glad you guys have been able to get a
piece of justice in a world where the justice system

(06:31):
certainly seems to be broken. I'm glad that it certainly
seems that it worked out this time.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, yeah, it did. We still have the we're all
being sued civilly. It's just part more part of the law.
Fair but you know, I think this will help us
on that end and we'll get through that, I hope
pretty quickly.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Well, let us know if there's anything else we can
do to support you, and certainly I'll be praying for
you through it all.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Thank you, Thank you so much, Justin you got it.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Thank you for joining us Maria and shared and
