All right, let's get into it today. We got the
big stories of the big news, the ones you won't
here anywhere else. And as we mentioned, sure trials happening
(05:04):
right now. Do you want to hear some of the
coverage and the things that are being discussed on the stand?
Captain Cyber, as I mentioned it's day four, sounds like
you well that question, I.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Know you've heard a lot. It can be construed some ways.
So our policies and procedures, our training, our training calendars.
Those the training calendars have published publicly. But our policies
are public publicly, excuse me published. We are KALIA certified.
KALI as an international organization that accredits agencies, so they
(05:37):
do a full review from top to bottom training policies,
equipment and I have to submit yearly reports based upon reviews,
so there are a five year cycle that you're certified
for are Familiar creditation. We've been credited since twenty seventeen,
which puts US in the top five percent of all
agencies in the United States at least for that and
(06:00):
we've also had twenty seventeen I believe it was the
twenty first century policing. They came in. They did multiple
group workerup meetings or community members and all that, department
members all that and reviewed our policies. I think mister
Beckett brought up the exhibit had something from that twenty
(06:20):
first century policing recommendations. So we've had multiple reviews by
accredited eight you know, national agencies or international accreditation agencies.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Okay, so the sounds like you're saying they're not.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Meant to supersede but correct and I think and my
point with that is those those accreditation agencies wouldn't accredit
you if your policies were out of norm.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
This is Captain Cyber and the GRPD. He's an expert
for the Defense. He's looks like he's being questioned right
now by the Defense. About an hour ago, according to
the Wood TV website durs. Now, they're on a bit
of a delay here, so this is like a thirty
minute delay on the video. The video you're watching happened
(07:10):
thirty minutes ago. Nine thirty jurors into the court room
at eight forty, day four of the Christopher Sure secondary
murder trial against John Hogan Wrights with cross examination of
Grand Rapids Police Captain David Cyber by Kent County Prosecutor
Chris Becker. Cyber police training experts as use of deadly
forced by Sure was appropriate. Patrick Leoya, who became combative
(07:32):
following an April twenty twenty two traffic stop, had a
hand on the officer's taser when he was fatally shot.
Becker as questioning Cyber about department policy and whether being
disarmed of a taser is considered deadly force. Two minutes
in voices raised, objections raised. Becker is asking about policy
regarding taser use. I'm sure we're going to get some
(07:54):
highlight video of that and it will bring it to
you when we get it. Well, look, everything is all
on the line right now. This is it. We're in
the we're in the key moments. And by the way,
what these experts have said, have pretty much dismantled any
case that the prosecution had. Now, I'm not going hard
on the prosecution and heavy on it because I have
some thoughts about this, and maybe after this trial wraps,
(08:17):
I'll i'll share with you a little bit more of
I just it's not something I want to get into
right now. And I'll you'll you'll understand that fully after
all is said and done, So we'll we'll, we'll, I
just just kind of add, we'll just kind of add
(08:38):
that enity. You could take that and do what you want.
There was a question from a juror. Is deadly force
appropriate in situations of active resistance or only in situations
of active aggression? Answer? Active resistance, you can't say always
would most likely not lead to a deadly forced incident.
It's a fine line between resistance and aggression. Grabbing a
(09:01):
taser would be an aggressive act that would raise the
level of force greatly, Captain Cyber said. Questioning ends. Captain
Cyber leaves the witness stand for like it said seventeen
minutes ago. So what you're watching play out right now?
What was on the on the the video we're just
watching He's off the witness stand now after two days
(09:21):
of questioning. So we continue to wait and we'll bring
you more updates as as we have them. All right,
gotta just gotta gotta throw some of those things out
there for you. We're gonna follow more of this as
it Like I said, as it develops, you'll get the latest,
(09:43):
so make sure you stick with us. Some other big things,
as I mentioned the Ukraine deal in the countries are
caving ring now. We have had multiple countries come to
the table to make deals. And by the way, don't
get it twisted. That's what this is all about. It's
about making deals, getting deals done for a America to
get us back on track and back in the rightful place. Really,
(10:05):
that rightful seat, which you know is there our place
in the driver's seat in negotiations end in the world.
So US and Ukraine have signed a deal. This is
a deal that gives them rights to minerals, reconstruction deals,
(10:26):
et cetera. This is a big deal. Now again, this
is something that's seeing in probably not going to be
very happy about. I don't know how much time they'll
address and spend on this. We already seen that the
coverage of the president has been very slanted and negative
during the first one hundred days. Don't expect it to
get any better by the way, I expected to get worse.
(10:46):
They're going to try and throw as much as they
can against him in the coming days. The US and
Ukraine this story on atlto US WSB TV two The
story of the US and Ukraine. On Wednesday, signed agreement
granting American access to ukraine vast mineral resources, finalizizing deal
months in the making that could enable continued military aid
(11:07):
the Kiev amid concerns of President Donald Trump might scale
back support and ongoing peace negotiations with Russia. Two sides
offered only bear born bare bone details about the structure
of the deal, which they call the United States Ukraine
Reinvestment Fund. It's expected to give the US access to
the valuable rare earth minerals while providing Kiev a measure
(11:28):
of assurance about continued American support. So this is common sense.
But this is what President Trump and Scott Assent, the
Treasury and the rest of these folks have said. Whether
they try to hammer something out together here, he say, look,
we're going to help you out, but we got to
have some sort of skin in a game. Here from
you guys. You know they're not a member of NATO,
and aside from some sort of ideological bent that says
(11:51):
we're going to help them. And yes, I know years
ago there was an agreement we would come to their
aid if they gave up the nuclear weapons and whatnot.
But Trump won some leverage. He wants some skin in
the game, some investment as of today from Ukraine. And
by the way, you remember that infamous moment in the
White Houses, he looked over Atsilynski says, you don't have
(12:13):
the cards. You don't have any cards, right, that was
the point. And how much money have we given them?
So as this wraps up, and it helps it wrap
up as well because Russia sees us going into this
deal with Ukraine in a situation where we are a
(12:35):
little more leveraged and locked to them. So it helps
wrap this up now because Russia says, we're not going
to escalate any further. We don't want us involvement, especially
with Trump at the wheel, anymore than we already have.
And it'll keep them out of Ukraine. In fact, I
have I bet Trump will try and ty Russia to
(12:56):
this as an economic partner somehow of Ukraine and that
will stop any further conflict from breaking out. If Russia
has economic interest in Ukraine and they're working together as partners,
I think you have less of a chance to see
that aggression moving forward. So it's a win win And
(13:18):
as I mentioned at the top of this show. In
the radio show, he slipped the script on all of this.
No more blank checks gone to Zelenski and god knows
who else of the oligarchs over in Ukraine. Now it's
all about business. So Ukraine gets what they want, they
(13:38):
get to help rebuilding, but only if America gets a
seat at the table. So what are those resources, because
they're pretty big. It's a big story. Titanium, lithium, uranium,
all of the critical minerals US is looking to get
a hold of and to use a stay competitive in
the world. Where we're moving this This is it, folks,
(14:00):
This is what Biden was never capable of. This is
what real leadership looks like. So they've turned the tide
on all of this, all the endless foreign wars and handouts,
they've turned all of that into some win win deals.
Here Trump showing the world how it's done. The art
of the deal. Speaking of which the art of the
(14:21):
deal is China not ready to cave. This is another
big story that I just don't think enough people are
paying enough attention to. But it's one I think we
ought to pay attention to. China has been on the
ropes before, and by the way, it's a very delicate
situation in China. We're learning all about some of the
(14:42):
things that are happening there and particularly some of the
population issues that they've got China wanting to come to
the table. In fact, I think they're already negotiating at
the table. From the language that I've heard Secretary of
Bascent described, from some of that language that he's used,
from some of the language I've heard Trump described, they're
bearing being very shrewd and calculative strategic about how they
(15:07):
handle some of this in telling you what they're doing
and what's happening, and why it's happening, and where it's
going behind the scenes. In fact, like I said, I
believe that this is already underway. I believe the negotiations
are already happening. Reuter's at the story in US wants
to start tariff talks with China. State Media says well
(15:29):
that means that China wants to start it as well.
The United States approaching China seeking talks over the tariffs
one hundred and forty five percent social media account affiliate
with Chinese state media saying on Thursday, potentially signaling Beijing's
openness to negotiations. Again this is Yahoo News. Reuters originally
added the US proactively reached out to China through multiple channels,
(15:52):
hoping to hold discussions on the issue. So look, folks,
I think behind the scenes you got to hear more
and more about some of these stories. Kevin has it
White House Economic Advisor, by the way, he was at
the He was at the White House when I was
there last last week, telling CNBC that there have been
loose discussions all over both governments about those tarifs and
(16:16):
China's easing of duties on some US goods last week
a sign of progress. So this is something that the
market should be very excited about. Now. I don't know
how media portrays it, probably not great. So will people
hear the news? Will they get the signal? Right now?
DOWZ up about two hundred s and p fifty two
points NASDAC two ninety one weekly jobless claim surge to
(16:43):
two hundred and forty one thousand more than expected, and
latest sign of economic trouble. That's that's their headline. That
doesn't really tell us why markets are up. Could be
a number of things in the headlines we're looking at,
but never it didn't matter. My point is is we're
(17:03):
watching this happen and they're not going to tell you
about it. Even after it happens, they won't give Trump
any credit. It'll be like they'll throw a party for
jijiin Ping or something like that at the end of
the day. That's just how this whole thing works. Never
give him credit for anything you saw earlier this morning,
the common sense return to commons, said press pricing in
(17:25):
the White House, Steven Miller, torching the media right to
their faces. I love this guy every time we get
a chance to see him. Played some of it. But
here's some highlights that you may not have seen just yet.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
He had to shame you into covering it, and each
and every one of you the sides over and over
again with these mster teen terras. To the extent that
you at the financial means to do so, you all
choose to live in condos or homes or houses as
far away from these kinds of gang bangers as you
possibly can have. I offered any one of you a
rent free home with no taxes to pay in any
(17:59):
of these gang neighborhood and I said, your neighbors are
mster ting terrorists or Mexican mafia or Sinaloa cartel or
trained iragua. I couldn't pay you to live there. But
yet you, with your coverage, are trying to force innocent
Americans to have these people as their neighbors and that
one day their daughter may be abducted from their home
and raped and murdered. So you're not going to get
(18:19):
an ounce of sympathy from this administration or President Trump
for the terrorists who've invaded our homes in our country.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
I just absolutely incredible, incredible at it again last night,
Kamala Back, I don't know, why is this about running
for governor in California? Is that what this is? She
doesn't possibly think she's got a shot to run for
(18:48):
president again in twenty twenty eight. I know she probably
got people around her telling her that, but holy moly,
I hope she doesn't possibly think that. Just some of
the clips from last night and I said some, we're
gonna limit these. I can't stand to deal with them. Oh,
holy count even that just blew me out of the water.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Oh, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
I can't, folks, I don't know how much of this.
It's hard to watch. And why is it all of
a sudden that she think it's the right time for
her to come back? This is I mean, I would
be you would never hear from me again. If I
were Kamala Harris, I'd be gone to be in a hole.
Speaker 6 (19:59):
In fact, please allow me, friends to digress for a moment.
Speaker 7 (20:02):
Okay, no kind of dark in here. When I'm asked
a show of hands, I won't allow that video from
a couple of weeks ago, the one of the elephants
at the San Diego Zoo during the earthquake.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Oh I didn't see it.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Google it.
Speaker 7 (20:16):
It did not see that.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
No, no, I won't.
Speaker 7 (20:20):
Scene has been on my mind.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Oh has she?
Speaker 7 (20:23):
Everybody's asking me what you've been thinking about these days?
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Well?
Speaker 1 (20:28):
An elephant?
Speaker 4 (20:31):
In fact?
Speaker 1 (20:31):
This is this, This is just as some of these
clips are just.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Including congressional leaders like Corey Booker, Chris Van Holland, Chris Murphy,
jazzmin Crocket Maximell frost, Al sand Bernie Sanders.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Oh god, I don't even know how she got as
far as she got. Folks. She's back in the spotlight
and it is. Uh, it's not gonna last long. Trust
me on this one. Trust me on this one. Trump
was also on the spot last night. I guess it's
maybe part of partly why she did what she did
(21:14):
when she did it. He did a town hall though
I don't know if you caught this. I didn't. I
didn't even see it. Gains saw that he was going
to do it. Got to see a little couple of
clips from it. Town Hall News Nation Chris Cuomo, which
is interesting in itself. Again an a town hall with
Chris Cromo. Here is the president.
Speaker 8 (21:32):
Do you have a commitment for the American people in
terms of how much you will protect those programs.
Speaker 9 (21:37):
We're not doing anything with entitlements and if you look
at Social Security, and by the way, I think I'm
better to say this than anybody, because I did nothing
with entitlements that would hurt people for four years. I
could have done that. If I was going to do that,
I would have done it five years ago, six years ago,
or seven years ago. I'm not doing anything. The only
thing is, you know, you say, don't talk about waste,
(21:59):
fraud and abuse. There is a lot of waste, broad
and abuse. There are a lot of illegal aliens that
are getting medicaid that shouldn't be getting it. And nobody
objects to taking people off Medicaid that aren't allowed to
be there. But we are doing absolutely nothing to hurt Medicare,
Medicaid or social Security.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Nothing. Yeah, well that's just that whole thing is a
fear mongering effort from the Democrats. They bring that up,
they'll lie about that every time they bring a coxceiling
thing they have. He's going to take us from you.
Lowis not. There's no plan to do that at all.
Speaker 9 (22:32):
Well, the problem is I have, Chris, is I have
to be flexible because as you.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Do think it's talking about terrace.
Speaker 9 (22:37):
Business, you need flexibility. You can't just be hardline and
I'm going to run right through a wall and I'm
never going to go over it and or around it.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
I'm going to go straight.
Speaker 9 (22:46):
You have to be able to dodge and move and
be flexible. And especially in business now with the cars,
I'm getting a twenty five percent tariff for the people
We're take it in billions and billions of dollars. But
they're hurt because they can can't switch over one hundred
percent of the content of the car within a very
(23:06):
short period of time. So they came to see me.
I understood their problem, and I gave them a period
of a year where I brought it down and then
another year. So I gave them a short period two
years where they have to be switched over one hundred
percent where every single part in the car is made
in the USA. Now, if I didn't do that, it
(23:27):
would have been very, very.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Tough for them.
Speaker 9 (23:29):
And so what I am is flexible, and if I
didn't do that, it would be very tough for these companies.
And these companies, it's a transition period, Chris, and transition
is an important word because as you do things, you'll say, well,
it's like being on the battlefield. You're on the battlefield.
Sometimes you're going to move to the left flank, but
(23:50):
then you end up moving to the right flank. And
it's very much like that in business, and frankly, it's
very much like that in life.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Well, the problem's right, you got to be able to
be flexible, you've got to be able to be fluid
and make adjustments and movements and precision, fine tune when
you're in the middle of something that's obviously I think
clearly anyone who's paying attention.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
What were you and Zelenski talking about when you were
nosed to nose in the Vatican?
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Great question from Bill O'Reilly.
Speaker 9 (24:20):
I was telling him that it's a very good thing
if we can produce a deal, that you sign it,
because Russia is much bigger and much stronger. Russia is
just chugging forward. It's a big, strong country, by the way,
not nearly as strong as the United States. Because I
(24:40):
rebuilt our military or my first term, they gave a
lot of it away in Afghanistan, and Afghanistan is one
of the reasons. It's the incompetent. We had an incompetent president,
grossly incompetent. He should have never been president. But we
had a man that didn't know what the hell he
was doing in Afghanistan and showed the stupidity of our leader.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
By the way, everybody see that. Everybody could see that.
Uh apparently even Chuck Dodd says the media. The media
saw it to it. Chuck says, you want your laugh
of the day here, it is the lack of coverage
about Biden's mental decline is not the media's fault. It's
(25:23):
the Democrats fault. Huh. This is not a media failure,
Chucky says, he again blames the Dems.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
This is not a media failure. This is a failure
of the Democratic Party. And I just sort of sort
of the virtue signaling that some people have done to
try to say, you know.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Tom stubs his toe on something. There would be you know,
a story after story after story that'd be in depth,
team coverage, twenty four to seven, round the clock.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
That the media missed the story. They didn't miss this story.
David Ignatius wrote, I just refused to accept this, this
stupid premise, because it's a right wing, manufactured, right wing
premis in order to stay in the media, the media
has got plenty of things to attack them for. And
there are MSNBC and CNN and pundits that absolutely carried
water for Joe Biden, but that they're not journalists.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
There ABC and MS thirteen.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
Former strategist that carried water for Joe Biden. The journalist
David Ignatius wrote a very high profile column in October
of twenty three, saying is he really running again? This
doesn't seem like a good idea. People like me were
promoting Dean Phillips's campaign because he was running.
Speaker 7 (26:38):
Set.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
So you know, it's not like this. This isn't WMD's
where the White House worked with the mainstream media to
manufacture a story that did not exist. That was a
press failure, massive press failure. This was not that failure.
This is an attempt by some to virtue signal, and
(27:01):
it's this horrible sort of pitting different news organizations against
each other, when ultimately the people at fault are Chuck Schumer,
Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, every elected
member of Congress.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
God, you know what this cause? You know, I hate
saying thinkful anybody's out of a job. But this guy,
Chuck offending the media. There's a reason why he's retired,
There's a reason why he's going. Here is the truth.
It was in front of their face the entire time.
(27:37):
They refuse to cover it. They manufacture stories about how
Trump is so bad, but they never print not a
single iota, not a single tittle, not a single dot,
nothing about Biden and that's a fact. And I'm sorry,
but you know, if he wants to try and rewrite
history gas light us into thinking that way, I got news.
(28:01):
It ain't working, Chucky. It's that gonna work. Hey, I
want to invite you to join us at the National
Day of Prayer today at noon. I'm gonna have a
great conversation and prayer with you. I'm gonna share some
stories about what I saw at the Capitol. I don't
know if I've ever told you a full story about this,
but at noon today I will. And the chance I
had to pray at the Capitol very specific and sort
(28:25):
of a I don't want to say secret, but it's
a it's a very exclusive sort of place and not
a lot of people I think I had a chance
to prayer. I was just absolutely honored to be able
to say a quick prayer inside the Capitol. And we're
seeing prayer moving inside the Capitol today, we see the
(28:45):
National Dare Prayer occurring, we see in Lansing where prayer
is happening, and it's very encouraging the things that we're
seeing play out in this country in order to bring
