The heat advisory you're going to need to know about
today and uh, look it's summer in Michigan, but for
some folks, uh planning ahead for this stuff definitely matters.
We're gonna get into the stories that matter most as well.
James Tison joins us down I seventy five on Twitter,
part of the Michigan Enjoyor podcast and of course always
(00:55):
a favorite fun to talk to.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Whip us won't do it? Why won't she? K Well,
let's wink coming out.

And traffic his stories of the day. We're talking about
what matters most in West Michigan and beyond.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
This is the Big Three.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Now speak Free Democrats and he's talking about democracy. You
know the secret threat to democracy and Donald Trump is
that threat. But Whitmer, speaking of democracy's people that aren't
being represented in Michigan, they've gone without representation for a
long time. Right now, why won't she hold that special election?
(01:36):
That story is coming out. But first, thanks for our
partners at Heartland Home Mortgage for powering our big three today.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
They've got away and the team ready to help you.

Whether you want to buy, what do you want to rEFInd,

He's there to help, and so's the entire team. HHM
lending dot com faster better than the big name. Were
seven thousands that so many of us listening to this
program have as well. D n I Tulsa gabber laying
(02:07):
out damning evidence against President Obama yesterday in that White
House press briefing room and I even heard the key word, yes, treason.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Any of this.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
New information implicates former President Obama in criminal behavior.
Speaker 6 (02:25):
We have referred and will continue to refer all of
these documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI
to investigate the criminal implications of this. Even the evidence
of correct The evidence that we have found and that
we have released directly point to President Obama leading the
manufacturing of this intelligence assessment. There are multiple pieces of
(02:49):
evidence and intelligence that confirm that fact.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Democrats and want hand say yeah, yeah, yeah, if they've
even heard this story.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
There are some.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Republicans that say, I'll believe it when I see it,
and that's understandable as well. But let me tell you, folks,
things are ratcheting up in a big way. They're not
backing down, and she looked really presidential, which makes you
wonder about twenty twenty eight, Cabbarn declassifying we're releasing those
declassified documents claiming President Trump and his national security team
team orchestrated that treason, his conspiracy back in twenty sixteen.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
We're gonna get to more of that. They've referred it.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
By the way, there's details about Hillary Clinton in this
report that are wild, and the Justice Department has stood
up a strike force to investigate.
Speaker 7 (03:37):
Now were two.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Baba Judge refuses to do it, just won't unseal the
Epstein ducks. Yeah, President Trump and the DJ said we'd
like to get these out there so people can take
a look.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
But they just won't do it.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
In fact, it makes you wonder, now, what are democrats
going to do? How are they gonna explain all this? Well,
Rump is in the DJ's in the document, he's in
the file.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
That's why he's trying to cover all of this up.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
It'll be tough on social media back and forth for
some of these folks at Judge Robin Rosenberg by the
way out of out of Florida saying now we're not
going to put that info.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Out there right now.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
And it's a scorcher hot one for folks across the
country and especially here in West Michigan. Heat advisory in
effect from eleven am to eight pm tonight. Well, it'll
be like in the nineties as far as tims go.
But the way the human animalists out for my morning walk,
and notice how how humid it was, and I'd forgotten
(04:42):
to get the mail yesterday. I went to the mailbox
and I almost had to ring it out because the
paper had soaked up.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Oh, it's serious.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
The paper had soaked up all of the humidity. It's
just that humid, and of course that that just makes
things feel like like it's even hotter it is. You'll
have heat induses in the triple digits. Yeah, it's nothing
(05:16):
to mess around with. Specifically, if you're like you're older,
you don't have AC or you have issues, you know,
health concerns, it may may cause you to be more
affected by that heat. You'll want to make sure you
take all those proper precautions. But it is summer here
in Michigan. Hey, you know we even have a threat
(05:37):
of some storms. We'll tell you when and what you
need to know on the way, God and I mean time,
give you a chance to join in the conversation.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Now call Justin now at six one six seven seven

seven seven for twenty four to twenty four West Michigan
Live with Justin Barclay on New Radio would thirteen hundred

Speaker 3 (06:03):
M is the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
By the way, while you're there listening live in archive, well,
you can catch the show now or later.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Great to do that.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
You can also hit that little microphone button next to
the play button and sound off.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
That's the best way to do it.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
More from D and I Gabbard yesterday in that press
briefing room and in a moment that that I think
is going to really seal the deal for her intentions.
In twenty twenty eight, she looked great, she sounded great,
and one of the memes, yeah, I gotta be careful
with this, but let me let me tell you one
(06:44):
of the memes I saw floating around Tulsa Gabbard has
bigger cahones.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I'll just put it that way.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Then all the Democrat and Rhino men in Washington, d C.
Combined and some of the Democrat women as well, which.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
I think the underlying point there is is that we
understand from intelligence what Russia said that they had. And
the important point here is that if they were trying
to influence the election, as President Obama and James Clapper
and John Brennan everybody said they were doing, in order
to support Donald Trump's election, they would have released the
(07:25):
most damning of that information, some of which I detailed
here you'll find the rest in the report. Prior to
the election to help Donald Trump win. They specifically withheld
what they had on her, the most damning information, because
they thought that she would win the election. They had
plans to release it just prior to her inauguration to
again so discord and chaos in America. I think the
(07:49):
underlying point there.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
You have it. I will tell you this.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
And one of the one of the other interesting things
is what's coming out in the intelligence what Russia thought,
what they had, and the information they had, and some
of it on Hillary Clinton.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
It's just wild. Listen to this.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Documents show that Hillary Clinton may have been mentally unstable,
physically unwell, guilty of potential criminal activity, and Russia had
it all. In fact, the candidate that Russia really wanted
to win was Hillary Clinton. Now we've known this for
(08:29):
a long time. We've factly known it since twenty sixteen.
We've we've done that for a long long time. And
why why do we know this now? According to these
intelligence documents that have been released, it's because they had
all this information. They were planning to release it post
election win, post Hillary Clinton election win. That is, if
(08:54):
if she would have won, they would have they would
have released the racking, so to speak. They didn't release
it ahead of the election, like you know, some big
October surprise or whatnot. They didn't release it ahead of
the election because they wanted her to win. Now that's interesting,
(09:15):
and I might say also obvious. At the same time,
I think that makes the case that this whole idea
that Russia wanted Trump to win and that there was
any collusion at all is just absurd and obviously clearly
not true. Now, some of the other interesting points of
(09:38):
what happened yesterday, as this news continues to come out,
is again, there would be people that will not hear this.
So I'm making sure that I say it. I'm making
sure that you know it. And I'm why because there
will be people that did not hear it. Why what
do I mean by that? Even when it happened live,
CNN cut away biggest probably biggest story in the the country.
(10:00):
If it's true that a sitting president and the intelligence community,
the deep state.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
The bureaucrats, whatever you want to call it, right, that they.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Colluded against another candidate and then eventually a president of
the United because this didn't stop, This didn't stop once
he got into office. Remember that it just continued on
and CNN thought that during this monumentous breaking news, you
(10:36):
didn't need to hear it.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Multiple intelligence community assessments released in the months leading up
to the November twenty sixteen election concluded that Russia had
neither the intent nor capability to impact the outcome of
the US election. On December fifth.
Speaker 8 (10:51):
We've been listening there to the Director of Answer Intelligence,
Tulsea Gabbard, continuing on what has now been a multi
day effort.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
She's just giving her not even taking questions from the reporters,
yet still giving her statement, and they cut away. This
is two to one pm Eastern. What was more important?
What could possibly have been more important at CNN.
Speaker 8 (11:17):
Public statements like this, but release of documents to attempt
to back up the quite extreme allegation that President Obama
is guilty of treason and that he worked in some
sort of concess.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
It's an extreme allegation when the Trump administration brings this out.
But if it's Obama, if it's if it's Biden, it's
not an extreme allegation.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
It's a fact.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
That's how they present the two And again they didn't
feel like you or the other three people watching the
network at this point needed to see this.
Speaker 8 (11:53):
This is blatant purirecy with Hillary Clinton, et cetera. In
the assessment by the intelligence community at the time that
Russia interfered in the twenty sixteen election.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
This is why nobody's watching them because a guy's given
a recap at two oh one, she's still in her statement.
He's telling you what she's saying instead of allowing you
to actually hear what she's saying. How much more obvious
is it going to get?
Speaker 6 (12:21):
Multiple intelligence community assessments released in the months leading up
to the November twenty sixteen election concluded that Russia had
neither the intent nor capability to impact the outcome of
the US election.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
And then they cut him right off on December fifth.
Speaker 8 (12:34):
We've been listening there to the Director of.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Natural It just you can't make this stuff up.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
By the way, there was a question asked by CNN's
own Caitlin Collins, who even I found this quite funny.
Even Megan McCain gave quite a shell lacking to calling
her clearly partisan at an imbecile was.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Great, just great, Megan McCain, of all people that's not
that old family, not clearly, not.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
Fans of the Trump administration, but even they see she
could see through this crystal clear. So one of the
questions asked is, hey, are you just putting this out
because you're trying to get back in the good graces
of the president, which is absolutely preposterous.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Press secretary back and gabbered up.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
Now on Secretary Rubio, he put out a statement in
twenty twenty.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Following up, Oh, that's the other thing. You're gonna hear
a lot about it. This is fake news too. But
they said, well, what about the Senate report, and Rubio
said this, and well, listen to the clarification.
Speaker 5 (13:45):
That Intelligence Committee repport, and he said, what they found
is troubling. We found irrefutable evidence of Russia meddling, which
the Director of National Intelligence just confirmed for all of you,
that Russia was trying to sow distrust in chaos. But
what's the outrage in this that Secretary Rubio did not
say at the time the Democrats were saying at the time,
is the fact that the intelligence community was concocting this
(14:05):
narrative that the president colluded with the Russians, that the
president's son was holding secret meetings with the Russians, all
of these lies that were never true. And he also said,
at that time, we discovered deeply troubling actions taken by
the FBI under Komi, particularly their acceptance and willingness to
rely on the Steele dossier without verifying its methodology or sourcing.
(14:27):
The Steele dossier that many outlets in this room ran
as the gospel truth, and it was cooked up and
paid for by the Clinton campaign. As for your second question, Caitlin,
I think who was saying that that she would release
this to try to boost her standing with the president,
who has said that, well, the President has publicly undermined
her when it came to Iran.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
He said she was wrong.
Speaker 7 (14:46):
He told me that she.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Didn't know what she was talking about.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
That was on Air Force one on camera.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
The only people who are suggesting that the Director of
National Intelligence would release evidence to try to boost her
standing with the president are the people in this room
who constantly try to sow distrust and chaos amongst the
president's cabinet, and it is not working. I Attorney, I
am will. I will just answer your question directly. I
am with the President of the United States every day.
He has the utmost confidence in Director Gabbard. He always has,
(15:13):
he continues to and that is true of his entire cabinet,
who is all working as one team to deliver on
the promises this president made.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
There you have it, It's pretty clear in all of
this you may again you still may be wondering why,
what will happen? Why now all of those things. I
think what you're seeing is the culmination of what was
eventually bound to happen. But I think we're seeing We're
seeing this happen. I think we're seeing this, all this
(15:42):
come out in a accelerated pace. And for anyone with
any sort of criticism about what about you? Can you
mean your Paris? Yes, what about the president? Let me
explain something to you. They can walk into bubblegum at
the same time time, and if a coup did take
(16:02):
place in twenty sixteen, the attempt to thwart that duly
elected president the will of the people, that ought to
be further and fully investigated. We ought to have full
transparency and the accountability. Now the question is what will
come of it. That's a whole mother conversation and one
that will continue to have one hear from you too.
(16:24):
Give you a chance to weigh in on this. Coming
up in just moments, you can hit the phone at
six one six seven, twenty four. James Sixon joins us.
Coming up, talk about thwarting the will of the people,
will not getting give them a chance to even be
represented here in Michigan. Democrats starting to show a bit
(16:45):
of a track record here. Gretchen Whitber in the focus.
We'll talk to James coming up at nine thirty five.
Hang out, folks. Back after this.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
For minute Kingijee. It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay
on News Radio Wood threeteen hundred and one oh six
nine a FM.
Speaker 9 (18:15):
Here are your headlines from the Midwestern Or this Thursday,
July twenty fourth. I'm Robin Koffman. We begin with a
Midwesterner Dot news original story Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel
suing the Trump administration to keep taxpayer funded benefits flowing
to illegal immigrants here in Michigan, and President Trump speaking
at a Washington, DCAI summit, he's calling for a federal
(18:39):
set of rules to regulate the technology.
Speaker 10 (18:41):
We can't stop it. We can't stop it with politics.
We can't stop it with foolish rules and even stupid rules.
At the same time, we want to have rules, but
they have to be smart.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
They have to be brilliant.
Speaker 10 (18:54):
They have to be more brilliant than even the technology itself.
Speaker 9 (18:58):
For these stories and more, visit then at the Midwesterner Dot.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
News I got good news about Mike Lindell. Don't don't,
don't let me forget this. I gotta, I gotta give
you the scoop on it before the show is over. Plus,
we got some news for things you might want to
get out and enjoy this weekend. The details on the way. First,
(19:24):
let's talk to our good friend down I seventy five
over on X the Enjoyer Podcast. Jamestixon joins us. Now, James,
appreciate you jumping in Whimer. She just won't do it.
These are people that support and say they are the
(19:46):
they are the defenders of democracy. But there's a whole
boatload of people here in Michigan that just aren't being
represented right now. And it's it's a it's a downright shame.
What's happening to these folks. James, what you've been.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Here with us?
Speaker 7 (20:01):
Good morning justin good to hear your voice. And yeah,
So we got two hundred and seventy thousand of our
neighbors in the Saginaw Midland area. They don't have a
state senator. They haven't had one since January. Their senator
Kristin McDonald rivett. She won a seat in Congress last year.
She took Dan Kildees and Dale killed these old seat
in Congress, and so now they just don't have a senator.
(20:24):
And so this week Whitmer's crossed the two hundred daymark
without either you know, she hasn't even called for a
special election at this point, like I did it. The
election hasn't been held yet because the dates don't line.
I get that, can I can extend, great, but to
not even say when it will be called, and especially
in the first half of the year, which is the
(20:46):
budget half of the year, you'd like to do that
sooner than later. We just had May elections across a
lot of the states. That would have been a good
time during that middleage election to get this buttoned up.
Whitmer will not do it. And it's good news that
she hasn't.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Actually tell me now, well tell me why you said
good nause. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (21:10):
So, during Whitmer's first term, right, Republicans controlled the House
and the Senate. So Republicans held all the gavels in
the legislature. And you know what they did together justin
they signed one thousand laws those first four years. Yeah,
one thousand laws twenty twenty two. Now, this was an
(21:30):
election year. All one hundred and forty eight lawmakers were up,
whitmer seat was up. Everyone had a lot of other
stuff to do, and being lancing passing laws right, they
signed two hundred and seventy eight laws that year. They
had a lane duck session that year. Even with Republicans
controlling all of lancing, they could have just said, hey,
(21:53):
we lost the November election, there's no more lancing activity.
We've already passed the budget. See you guys next year.
Bustle up with the gap. Yeah, they didn't do it.
Rather than do that, during the lane duck session, Republicans
actually gave Whitmer eighty five million dollars to fund the
Q Line train in Detroit through twenty thirty nine. So
(22:15):
Republicans lost an election, they thought, Okay, if we just
hold the status quo, we control the legislature, Whitmer wins
the governor's office, we could live with that for another
four years. But they didn't realize is that with the
Prop three, with the abortion amendment, Whitmer was coming for everything,
and she got everything, and she displaced the Republicans from power.
(22:40):
And even after they lost, they went out of their
way to give this woman a train set. So justin
if Whitmer thought that these were the twenty twenty two
type of Republicans, would she really be delayed calling for
a special election.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
That's a good point.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
So what do you think is the most likely these
aren't the twenty twenty two type of Republicans.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
What's that mean?
Speaker 7 (23:07):
Well, what it means so far is that so we're
in July, right, we're well over half the year. They've
only signed six laws this year, not including the budget,
which was due on July first, So they're not even
doing the law making they have to do by law
in Lansing, and they're certainly not doing they're not going
(23:30):
out of their way to do things that the governor want.
So this if the Republicans had been this in twenty
twenty two, they wouldn't have lost the legislature. It's when
Republicans act as the Republicans for Whitmer, right, that's when
things went south. And so for Gretchen and Whitmer to
(23:50):
hold off is an admission that things have changed and
that these are Trump style Republicans that are in Lancing,
not Republicans for.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
Whitmer, Republicans with a spine.
Speaker 7 (24:03):
Hey, you know, Jack, you know the fighters, people who
represent their voters and who are not enamored with Yeah. Oh,
when my kid was in Lancing, the governor took a
picture with them. A lot of those fan club type
guys in Lancing, but not as many as there used
to be.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Uh So, let me let me, let me, let me
break some of this down, because a lot of times
we hear people so in Congress didn't get anything done
or Lancing didn't get anything done. Essentially, what you're saying,
you're making the case and I agree with you. I
just have no agree with you, is it? You know,
sometimes it's a good thing. It's a good thing when
they're not doing anything, especially if the things they are
(24:40):
doing are are helping Whitmer and whatever wacky agenda the
left has these days.
Speaker 7 (24:47):
Gridlock is good. Gridlock is for the health of the taxpayer.
See in twenty twenty two, we were given two messages,
both of which were false. One the media told us
all these stories about Whitmer, said this, lawmakers said that
conflict in Lancing. So there was no conflict. If you
look at the numbers, they actually worked incredibly well together,
(25:09):
a lot better than they are now. And the other
thing is just this idea that you know, bipartisanship is
a good thing. And so every law, all thousands of
those laws Whitmer's first term were bipartisans because Republicans passed
them and the Democrats signed them. So at a thousand
bipartisan laws, Who can tell me what the straight face
(25:32):
that they benefited from rich and Whitmer's first term. So
we are told because what the media we read out
of Landing is written by Lancing reporters. So the Lancing
reporter and the Lansing politicians have a common interest in
a thriving and busy Lancing. What they all hate is
(25:53):
a year like this when the attention is off Landing.
There's nothing happening here, and the most interesting stories they
have history, Oh my god, it's been two hundred days
without of this, we've only had this many lost paths.
They don't like that. They like to be in the
heat of the action, and they're not now. So they're
going to point what's good for you as a citizen
(26:14):
as what's bad, and what was bad for you as
a citizen, all this getting along, all this bipartisanships, because
that was great.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Another big story at Atlantic and of course in Michigan.
One that matters maybe most my good friend James Dixon
and the Enjoyer podcast. James Dixon over on the X.
You can find him down I seventy five. What are
you working on lately, James? What do we need to
know about.
Speaker 7 (26:42):
Talking about what it means? Okay, so we talked about
how the twenty twenty five Republicans are different. That's a
good sign for twenty twenty six. A lot of people
are still worried about the betrayals of the past, and
if we can just help people understand that it's a
different crew nowadays doing different things, it'll be more likely
to show up next year and save our state.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Well that's that's a good point. We're probably going to
need that more than ever. Twenty twenty six is so important. James,
Always a pleasure, my friend. Thank you so much for
taking the time to be here. Thank you for sticking
around in the fight, and as always, thank you for
jumping on with us.
Speaker 7 (27:18):
Thank you, brother, you got it.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
God bless back with more and actually some good news,
Pat Colbeck, he's probably celebrating today. Mike Lindell got a
big win yesterday. I want to explain what happened, plus
some fun or the good kind a trouble you can
get into this week, and we're going to give you
the details on that after this.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Informative in Gije. It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barkley
on News Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one oh sixty.
Speaker 9 (27:45):
Here your headlines from the Midwesterner this Thursday, July twenty four.
I'm Robin Hoffman.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
She's at it again.
Speaker 9 (27:52):
Michigan Attorney General Democrat Dana Nessel suing the Trump administration
as she tries to stop the government from verifying immigration
status for taxpayer funded benefits. This means Nessel wants the
money to continue to flow to illegal aliens here in Michigan. This,
by the way, the twenty fifth time Nessel has sued
(28:12):
the Trump administration and President Trump. Speaking in a Washington,
DCAI summit, he's calling for a federal set of rules
to regulate the technology.
Speaker 10 (28:21):
We can't stop it. We can't stop it with politics.
We can't stop it with foolish rules and even stupid rules.
At the same time, we want to have rules, but
they have to be smart, they have to be brilliant,
they have to be more brilliant than even the technology itself.
Speaker 9 (28:38):
For these stories and more, visit the Midwesterner at the
Midwesterner dot news Man.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
We're early heating up this weekend. What's going on in
the way of events. We're talking about that. In the meantime,
the weather heating up as well. We've got a big
heat wave on the way today. We're going to make
