Speaker 1 (00:01):
By from Higher Top Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
We're talking about what matters most to you in West Michigan.
Joining a conversation now at six one six seven seven
four twenty four twenty four. That's six one six seven
seven four twenty four twenty four. It's West Michigan Live
with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Man oh Man, What a day, what a night, and
lots to bring it up to Spila. Big stories today,
Trump cracking open at Coldland, Yes, calling back billions and
the winning never stops us has derailed the trend to nowhere,
(00:44):
but the Trump train rolling right along all of it
this morning. And of course the stories you won't hear
anywhere else. It's our Big Three. Let's get into good use,
weather and traffic. I'm gonna bring your stories in the.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Game, talking about what matters most in West Michigan and beyond.
This is the Big three now see three.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, the story is let me talk about around the
water cooler, at the dinner table, no matter where you are,
these are their stories, powered by good friends at Heartlett
Home Mortgage Today HHM lending dot com. If you want
to reach out and find out how they can help you.
They got to buy, you can refine, you can do
the home equity line of credit. So many different ways,
(01:29):
custom solutions for every individual. Dave got Away and the
team love to make that happen for you, like to
have for us. Each time we've worked with it, we've
done all three of those. We've said thousands number one.
It's worth a look. The Trump train rolling right along,
another win for Maha, Make America healthy again, folks, President
(01:53):
Trump saying that Coca Cola fast and how quickly this
is from Woka Cola to the folks at Coke saying, yeah,
we're gonna take the cane. We're gonna take the corn
syrup out and put cane sugar in it. Now you
can still get this lots of different places throughout the world.
So is fact they have Mexican Coke, Trump dropping that
(02:15):
fizzy bomb on the cocorp making that move from the
lab drunk corn syrup garbage back to real cane sugar.
It does taste better. I prefer it, and it's better
for you. So Saga Bay and bloated big Corn and
Hello to flick the way it's meant to be. Now.
I don't know if RFK wants you sipping on a
(02:38):
coke at all, no matter what kind of no matter
what kind of sugar's in there. But I did think,
uh yeah, funny story and a big win. Nevertheless, but
it happened last night. I don't know if you have
seen the latest yet, but while you and I were
fast asleep in our beds with visions of NP, we
(03:00):
are exploding in our heads. They made the move the
Senate rescinding nearly nine billion some of that that USAID waste,
fraw and abuse four and eight. And then the NPR
PBS vote the NASER forty eight, and on this vote
the bill is amended as passed. There you have it.
(03:22):
That's the latest. And of course that Precision Package nine
point four billion in unspent funds had taken that bloated
spending out as they mentioned those started. You remember that
story started as dosee cuts, speaking of waste, fraud and
abuse and bloat. Trump's decided to terminate it. The train
(03:46):
in nowhere, one hundred and thirty five billion dollars high
speed rail in California is completely been derailed. He pulled
the plug on the boondoggle, which I think folks are
very happy to hear this morning another way that they've
just absolutely wasted taxpayer dollars. This crazy I think it's
(04:12):
four billion that's been unspent, but this crazy project they
just hit a problem after problem, issue after issue. It's
now balloon pass is supposed to go from San Francisco
to La Originally wants just thirty three billion dollars supposed
to link the two cities. Now it's balloon past one
(04:34):
hundred and twenty eight to one hundred and thirty five billion.
The almost zero high speed track actually laid. So that's
the latest Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Trumps slamming the
brakes and on the whole thing, and the mismanagement on
the train that I wear citing miss deadlines, fiscal waste,
(04:54):
broken promises, and yeah, the governor who wants to be
president of California, Governor Gavin Newsom upset about it all,
calling it illegal, threatening legal action. So now they can't
decide where money goes. Either, got to get a judge involve.
I guess ah, have no fear, folks, We'll make sense
(05:17):
of it all today. I've got more stories that we
got to break through. A speaker Matt Hall out of Lansing,
joining us this morning with your calls and more.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Call Justin now at six one six seven seven four
twenty four to twenty four at six one six seven

one oh six nine a f M.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I don't know if you've seen this, but they've outed
this company too publicly. We'll try and get to this
a little bit later, but a publicity firm offered twenty
million dollars to organize anti Trump protest. You know those
protests you and I are supposed to believe are authentic
and it's the grass roots the people are rising up against.
(06:03):
We're supposed to believe all of that. Nothing could be
further from the truth. But imagine this. A publicity firm
PR firm offered twenty million dollars to hire agitators for
anti Trump protests. As I mentioned, they want you to
think it's grassroots, but it couldn't be further from the truth.
It's astro turf with a big fat check book. They're
(06:26):
literally trying to buy outrage. Just imagine remember the next
time you see these people in the streets looking as
challenged mentally in the departments that you might imagine. And
I honestly somebody asked me about this yesterday, you know,
(06:46):
he said, you thank you for standing up. And look, folks,
I'm just doing what I believe God's called me to do.
And i'm and I'm would I ask you everyone to
do that, And there's really nothing to what I do.
I get on the air here and I talk about
(07:07):
things that I know that you're talking about, and I
say the things that I know that I know to
be true. Now I understand that in a world of lies,
you know that the truth is like an act of rebellion.
So I get that. But I told this person, look,
(07:27):
you get past a certain point because he told me,
I feel the same way, you know. But I couldn't
talk about these things if I wanted to in my
business and say you don't have to just do it
when the time is right, stand up, speak the truth
and and make sure you you you impacked, your family,
you're not you know, maybe not called to go out
and you know, get on the radio or you know, online, Facebook, X,
(07:50):
rumble Getter, locals, YouTube, all those places we're at and
and do all these things. You know, maybe you're not
qulled to do, but at the same time you can't.
You can do what needs to be done in in
the daily whatever it looks like. So whatever that looks
(08:13):
like to you. But I told them, I said, you know,
you get to a certain point and these people whatever
that it is that they're saying to you online, whatever
it is that you're hearing in the craziness, it's just
it's it's it's not it only goes so far. And
after they do it so so much, you know, you
(08:34):
just you get, you get you said you got thick
skin as well. You know, I don't know about that.
I'm just telling you. It just doesn't. It doesn't line
up anymore. None of this stuff to me anymore, makes
a big difference. You can think it say whatever they say,
and in fact it's the opposite. I really feel bad
for some of these people. I really do. Some of them.
(08:57):
I just think are really struggling. They have a real
hard time right now, and I get I get that,
but they're constantly being pulled in every different direction by
the media, by politicians who are trying to take advantage
of them. All of these other folks, and like I said,
(09:17):
I just feel bad. I feel bad for them. So
it is. It's h It's something that I would encourage
you and say, you know, my my light is thought
on this is it. We have to pray for these people.
And I'll talk more about that, I'm sure in the
days I add. But I had some thoughts on this yesterday,
(09:37):
so I want to I want to say that, but
I'll save it. I'll save it. I'll save it for
another day. All of this to tell you that the
things that they see on the news, these people, you
wonder where they're coming from. The things that they see
on the news. The people that are actually enraged, are
(10:00):
they being lied to? They're being pulled around, and then
they're being lied to in a way that you and
I are supposed to believe that. You know that these
policies that are some of the most popular this president
elected really with a mandate to do these things. If
they were so unpopular, they wouldn't have to buy their crowds,
(10:25):
they wouldn't have to manufacture their chaos, they wouldn't have
to rent a rebellion. Folks, once you're gonna see what
you do see when you watch these things nine times
out of ten. Is it's It's just it's not real.
It's a marketing campaign, and you know what they're selling.
(10:46):
Trump hate, That's what it's become a whole industry, in fact.
But why hate when there's so many good things that
are happening. Why hate when we see so much progress
being made? Because the folks who are pulling the strings
are mad. They're losing power. This move with USAID, the
(11:07):
move with NPR. There strings are being cut as we speak.
Their legs are being cut out from underneath them. And
that's really why they're so upset. Politicians are using that
money to fund their own campaigns and whatever else it
is that they want to fund. And I'm telling you
this is why you've seen so much backlash. This is
(11:29):
why it's so important that we stay on mission. This
is why, quite frankly, I am proud and happy to
say the train is on the tracks and full speed ahead,
full speed ahead. I got more coming up. We're gonna
get to you. Yes, your calls too, coming up in
just a moment. And yes, if you want to jump
(11:50):
on you can as well the iHeartRadio app. Just click
that little play button that little microphone next to the
play button and you can sound oh thanks for our
good friends at MK the funeral homes. Let it rip

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Here are your headlines from The Midwesterner this Thursday, July seventeenth.
Thim Robin Hoffman, It's a Midwesterner dot News original story.
Gretchen Whitmer fails to land a semiconductor plant deal at
a Monday township megasite. The Democrat governor promised to secure
a deal by the end of her second term after
spending two hundred and fifty million dollars in taxpayer funds.
(12:36):
Whitmer has spent months lobbying President Trump for three to
five billion dollars to bring a new fifty five billion
dollars semiconductor facility to the site, which is near Flint.
Many residents oppose it. Fetanyl overdose is a huge problem
here in Michigan. At the White House, President Trump signing
the historic Halt Fetanyl Act into law as he looks
(12:58):
to stop the drug overdose.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
At this is one hundred times more potent, and it's
happening stronger, stronger, more and more and more and more dangerous.
And as you know, and I have a very good
relationship with Presidency of China, but I imposed a twenty
percent tariff on China because of the fentanyl, and I
(13:21):
call it a penalty.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
It's a penalty.

Coming up, Speaker of the House here in Michigan, Matt Hall,
the latest on the Big Ball dropped by Gretchen Whitber,
and much more about nine thirty five Thanks to our
good friends at the Good Feet Store for powering this summer.
(13:50):
You know, I was in dress shoes all day yesterday
we celebrated. I just mentioned off the air the life
of my wife's grandmother, ninety eight years old, an incredible
woman and an amazing life. Surrounded by friends and families,
celebrating yesterday at the funeral service. It was it was
quite a moment. But in the dress shoes all day
(14:12):
and on some very hard floors, and I still feel
good today. No issues in the feet, no leg problems,
no back problem. If you're like me, it used to
dread like dressing up and having to wear dress shoes
and things of that nature, or maybe even the flip
flops during summer. Okay, it's a problem, one that you
don't have to deal with anymore. Mine instantly changed when
(14:35):
I walked into the Good Feed Store. Just like that.
They work with me one on one to find the
perfect fit for their personalized art supports. And I'll tell
you they're going to do the same thing for you,
to try and find the best fit for you, and
it could be a game changer like it was for me.
My pain is gone and I can deal with days
like yesterday. So if you're ready to tackle your spring
(14:57):
or summer to do list, or maybe you just right it,
start getting dressed up and going back out again, it
is time walk into the Good Feed Store. Head on
over twenty eighth Street. They're right in front of Costco
and Portage or in Westwich in front of Coles. You
can come out and experience that feeling for yourself the
(15:18):
folks at the Good Feet Store. Okay, let me grab
a caller to Steve and Wyoming is up first. Good morning, Steve,
good just real quick, Happy birthday to you. Steve thank
you so much. That means the world to me. Thank you,
my friend.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
You bet you have a good day.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
Go blust you two. Hang on though, we're gonna give
you so it's it's my birthday. I'm gonna give you
the gifts. Hang on the phone line, see if see
if Steve can get Steve's information. I got something for him.
I don't want to tell him what it is just yet.
It's going to be a surprise. Get Steve's information and
we're gonna get I got I got a couple of
things that I'm books. I got some shirts still left.
(15:57):
I got a couple of things from my club. Now
that's not actual shirts that I'm wearing, nothing like that, No,
but we still have some of those. I got some
Golf America maybe a couple of those Golf of America
shirts that I've still got left. So anyway, thank you.
That means a world to me. You know it. Really,
before this show's over, we're gonna give a few more
(16:18):
things away today just to say thank you. So you
may be wondering, okay, justin, I just heard you talking
about this, and I heard them mention on the Midwestern
or what is the latest ball dropped by Gretchen women.
We're going to dig into this when we come back
full speed with Speaker of the House Matt Hall here.
But this story is it's just the latest in a
(16:42):
long list of mishaps by the Wolverine Queen. And it
really is sad because it's going to cost you and
me lots of money. And this is a whole area
Michigan taxpayers. Look, you just plush two hundred fifty million
dollars down the drain. Whitmer had a big promise, a
(17:05):
fifty five million dollar semiconductor fabrication plan at Mondy Township
near Flint. The deal collapsed after federal support never materialized.
She spent months kissing out the Trump in the Oval office,
hiding behind the blue you probably remember that, hiding behind
the blue folder, trying to get three to five billion
(17:29):
dollars in Chips Act funds. You probably remember that was
a Biden thing. Only to see California's sand disk walk away.
Blaming massive economic uncertainty, and she says Trump's tariff chaos
for the loss. But I think we all know what
(17:49):
the real reason is. Here again, another problem in Michigan.
Unfortunately at the hands to these people who have been
completely irresponsible and incapable of governing here and getting anything done.
Plus they're going to talk. Imagine this finally getting the
roads fixed and not having to spend an extra penny
(18:12):
at all, not even a penny, Speaker Matt Hall joining us,
coming up after this, and you can jump in on
the fund too. Much cooler today, by the way, just
noticeably well, and less humidity too, only seventy four for
(18:32):
a high right now, we're at sixty three. Lots of
clouds throughout the day, but things worm back up again tomorrow.
The sun is on its way back and we are too.
After this on West Michigan Live. A couple of big
breaking those stories out of the state today. In fact one,
(18:52):
Michigan taxpayers flushing two hundred and fifty million down the drain,
Governor Whitmer's big promise, that big fifty five billion dollars
semiconductor plant there in a near flant collapsing. She blames
Trump and tariffs. I think there's a lot more of
that we're probably not hearing behind the scenes here, and
(19:14):
his statement on this, I think a little bit indicative
of the of the matter. Speaker Matt Hall joining us,
with the latest and on this and can you imagine
finally fixing the roads and without having to spend any
more money, a little more common sense, some truth and
logic mixed in for you this morning. Good morning, speak
(19:35):
mister speaker, how.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
Are you, hey, good morning, Thanks for having me again.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
So I was looking at your statement on this, and
I think it's funny how the Democrats are trying to
point the finger and blame Trumpy. You make the point
in your statement. No, the very policies Trump is putting
into place are gonna make plants like this possible, and
even more so in Michigan.
Speaker 6 (19:55):
Well what happened here exactly? I mean you look at this, right,
I mean, these semiconductors in most cases are not manufactured
in the United States, and so what President Trump is
doing by putting tariffs on is he's incentivizing them to
bring that to the United States. And you're seeing that
(20:17):
with big investments from Micron in New York and Idaho.
You see this Taiwan semiconductor company making huge investments in
Arizona in on shoring chip technologies. And I've spoken to
President Trump about it. I've spoken to Howard Lutnik, his
Commerce secretary, They're only going to make great deals for
(20:40):
the American people. They recognize the value of these chips.
But we're not just going to pay out unlimited no
matter what the cost is. That's the contrast from Whitmer's philosophy.
The MEDC under Whitmer, they just pay out any amount
of money without regard to value. For the tax dollars.
We saw reports in rich they were going to spend
(21:01):
six billion dollars, which would make it by far the
biggest incentive that the state's ever given out. Uh And
and micro or in the company uh bann this told him, no, said,
even for six billion dollars, We're not doing this plant
in Michigan.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
It really is interesting because I think that that you
just made this point, there's there is sort of an
old way of doing business there behind the scenes that
she's she's it sounds like there are more and more
of these and m ADC's tied into it. And I
know you've been looking this. You get some oversight there
on some of this, uh General Dana Nessels digging into
(21:40):
some of these things as well. How much of this
is part of that sort of old process where many
just gets slushed around and folks end up well, whether
they though it or not, on the losing end.
Speaker 6 (21:56):
Well, yeah, I mean, we saw the Democrats spend our
entire state surplus now nine billion dollars, the biggest surplus
in the history of Michigan. They blew it all on
electric battery plants and port projects to get politicians to
vote for electric battery plants and and so you know
these investments, they put billions of dollars into them. We
(22:16):
saw Board, you know, GM, Gooshen, many others, and yet
to create any jobs. In fact, the GM plant they
took the money and then they said, well, there's no
demand for these, so we're going to build tahos and
we're going to build big trucks at that plant in Orion.
(22:37):
They're not even going to turn it into an EV plan,
even though we gave them six hundred million dollars to
do that. Under Whitmer, you know, Trump is bringing real
cars back, you know, and we saw those coming to
that Orient plant. So you know what we see here
from the Trump administration is they passed in the One
Big Beautiful Bill, a big tax credit, thirty five sent
(23:00):
tax credit to bring chips manufacturing to the United States.
So we saw those old deals before that. Now with
this that tells you a lot about the state of Michigan.
We weren't able to land this deal. But really what
this is is this company they had some changes in
their board. They recently had a merger and this new
(23:23):
board they have just said, we're not sure we want
to make this big of an investment in one plan.
That was what this was. And then Democrats with Trump
arrangement syndrome, they blamed Trump, but this Trump's administration was
helping us and they're committed to helping us try to
do something even bigger for Genesee County moving forward. But
(23:45):
you know this is just typical Democrats taking a business
decision and trying to blame it on Trump when all
the evidence shows us otherwise.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Speaker of the House here in Michigan, Matt Hall with
us right now. Trump has had an amazing six months
here in a second term's president. You've also been off
to a running start, lots of wins racking up there
in the House as a speaker, and you've got to
be pretty proud of that. Yesterday we talked with former
Michigan State Center Pat Kulbeck, who was in front of
(24:15):
the committee. They're talking about election integrity. Really, I think
shining the light on some of these issues that for
far too long have been ignored, but obviously in your
oversight and the folks who have decided these things need
to be taken a look at this story after story
of things like this weaponization is happening inside state government
(24:39):
as well. These are big news, big pieces of stories.
But one of the things I know that you're most
focused on right now is trying to fix the roads
and do it without having to spend any money. But
you got some issues standing in the way there. Let's
talk about that, and I think it's probably one of
the biggest issues folks want to see really repaired here
(24:59):
in this state.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
Well, you're right, and Rochelle Smith's doing a great job
on election integrity and I was with her yesterday. She's
working to root out all the foreign money. They're spending
more money in Michigan, tens of millions of dollars foreign
nationals on these ballot campaigns, and Rochelle's going to be
(25:22):
introduced in some bills to stop that very soon. But
on the roads, we're trying to help Governor Whitmer deliver
on her one campaign promise, which was to fix the roads,
something she hasn't done. Grew the budget by forty three percent,
but we haven't fixed the roads under Whitmer. So we
offered her an opportunity. We said, look, let's go fix
(25:44):
the local roads. I will show you how you can
do it without raising taxes. We get rid of a
lot of these big giveaways we talked about. We end
the pork projects and we dedicate every single dollar collected
at the pump to roads. I mean most states do that,
Michigan doesn't. And then we can we can fix the
roads without raising taxes. We just have to spend our
(26:07):
money wisely and with a strategy, and that puts the
money into the roads. We need to fix them three
billion dollars a year. Democrats have no plan. They talked
about this, they campaigned on it. We put a plan
on the table, we passed it. They don't know what
to do. They have no plan. So I said, look,
we're not moving forward on anything else until you guys
(26:28):
come to the table with a solution to fix our roads.
The people Michigan have been demanding it for too long.
So they went home. They went home. That's what they've
done well.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
That that sounds really immature. I just you know, and
again people, I don't think people understand. It's not just
you and me driving the work in the car every day,
just wishing and was there wasn't so much wear and
tear on my car and I didn't have to spend
so much. That's a big deal. But another big deal
is we've got all this money coming back. This is
(27:00):
to me, this is the biggest issue for me right
now as we're watching what's playing out in the state
of Michigan, is it. I desperately do not want to
miss out on this major opportunity of a lifetime. We've
got President Trump bringing all of the manufacturing, all of
us back in the United States investment here. I don't
want Michigan to miss out on it because we don't
(27:22):
have the infrastructure. It's things like the cost of energy
or just the fact that their trucks have to be
on these roads and what's that going to cost? All
of that. We've got to be ready for prime time.
And we've been sorely neglected over the last eight years
or so. And I know that's your focus is getting
us back on track.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
Yeah, yeah, I spoke to the Indiana Governor Mike Brown
this week, and you know, they're lowering their income tax.
I mean, Michigan was the only state in the country
under their Democrat trifecta that raised the income tax las year.
They're lowering their income tax. They're focusing on creating a
great environment to improve their local businesses. They're investing in
(28:06):
their infrastructure, and they're getting away from these big checks
like Whipmer's writing, and they're working on the fundamentals. And
you're seeing, you know, when you have policies like that,
combined with President Trump's administration, you're seeing a lot more
deals coming to states like Indiana than you are Michigan.
(28:27):
I mean, he can only do so much, but they're
going to pick states that are more competitive than Michigan.
And so our job is to try to fix that.
And I'll just say, you know, their articles criticizing me
because it's the fewest bills passed since nineteen forty We've
only had six bills signed in the law this year.
I'm just saying to the Democrats, if you want more bills,
(28:49):
then you guys, fix the roads, because you know what they're.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
Going to do.
Speaker 6 (28:52):
They're going to go campaign on it again, and they
don't have a plan. They never had a plan. It's
just a talking point. It's not a talking point for
most michigan Ers on our local.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Road stace.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Absolutely well from your mouth to God's years and we
hope again with your work there obviously folks standing behind
you support. What can people do. We hear this obviously
on the radio where you coming on giving us updates,
and we appreciate that. But what can folks do to
make sure that they're supporting you and any way they can, well.
Speaker 6 (29:25):
You know, I think, you know, really pushing on these
Democrat senators, you know, to spend tax dollars wisely to
invest in our local roads and to focus on existing
companies and helping create an environment where they can grow
instead of headhunting. And you know, showing up in the
(29:47):
in these elections and voting for your local Republicans all
the way down the ballot is going to make a
big difference because at the state rep level, the state
Senate rep level, governor, we have a real opportunity to
make a difference and send the next selection it is.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
A speaker at the House. Lots of big things happening.
We appreciate the the constant updates always coming on. They
give us the latest on this. Matt Hall, thank you
so much. We appreciate you being here with us today.
Speaker 6 (30:12):
Thanks for having me.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
You got it more after this. Full speed ahead, folks
that we got story after story in an after show.
The fastest howern radios all already flying on bine.
Speaker 1 (30:29):

Promises made and promises not kept. Another botch deal at
the hands of Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Whitmer failing to
land a semiconductor plant deal in a megasite near Flint.
She had hoped to have this all nailed down by
(30:59):
the end of her second term, after spending a whopping
two hundred and fifty million dollars in taxpayer funds. Once operational,
the project was supposed to create twelve thousand construction jobs
and up to six thousand permanent jobs here in Michigan
to the White House.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
Now, as if today, all fentanyl related substances will be
banned forever, and those who traffic in these deadly poisons
will be put behind bars for a very long period
of time.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Here in Michigan. Fentanyl a huge problem as it is
across the rest of the United States, and President Trump
attempting to do something about it, signing the Halt Fentanyl
Act into law.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Anyone caught trafficking these illicit poisons will be punished with

Hey, folks, checking the CNBC again here checking the numbers
of the markets. It's it looks like another day of green.
Dow up two hundred, latest raft of economic data and earnings.
And the big story here is the terrafs aren't hurting
the economy, not like the left once you'd believer wanted
(32:13):
you to. They tried to push this, and I'm telling
you it's good news. It's a good sign because it
looks like President Trump is on track.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Now.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
This whole thing can seem like a roller coaster ride.
It can seem like a real roller coaster ride. Every
day you're kind of up and down and you're sort
of queasy, you know, at a little queasy on that ride.
Sometimes not if you're working with the folks at Tellingwealth
and guarding your nest egg dot com. Mike Lester and

The fastest hour in Radio, Fly and Buy and the
after show is yet just moments away. We've got some
more stories that we got to make sure we felt.
I just had this and I want to talk about
it coming up in the after show. But can you
(33:24):
imagine this CNN losing their ever loving minds on a
daily basis when a polling guy comes out, Harry Enton,
again trying to go through the numbers. They're trying to
wrap their heads around this after all this Epstein stuff,
which you can see and I hope you can.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
That.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
They're constantly trying to use things, scandal's hoaxes, et cetera
to pull Trump's base away from him and some of
I I some people it may work on, but the base,
the diehards of people have been through through the years
with them, they just aren't buying it. And I don't
think they ever will. You're just not gonna be a
(34:05):
plum away And and this now they may be disappointed
and they'll voice their frustration, but this is proof of
all of that. The poll number says he's actually gone
up in the face of all of this.
Speaker 5 (34:21):
I mean, look, I think this one surprised me a
bit because of all these complaints online going after Trump
and the X team fag you might think his approval
ratings were going down with Republicans. If anything, they're going
up Republicans who approve of Trump. Look at our CNN poll,
the prior one eighty six percent, the one out this
week eighty eight percent with Republicans. How about Quinnipiac. The
prior poll eighty seven percent approval of Republicans this week
(34:43):
out ninety percent with Republicans. If anything, Donald Trump's approval
rating has gone up since this whole Epstein saga started.
He is at the apex or close there too in
terms of his popularity with Republican voters.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
How's that even possible? They just can't stand it. Well,
I'll try and tell you why break that down too
and uh more coming up on the after show. Thank
you for the birthday wishes today. I say, it's so
so nice, what a what a fantastic data celebrate. I
am internally grateful for the opportunity to be with you
(35:17):

making things worth it all. Forty six. I'm just I'm
just a kid at this point. I'm just a kid,
but uh I appreciate you every day. Wish you the best, folks, Glenn.
Break foreground is coming up next, making a great one.
(35:37):
God bless up. I'll be that name that kingdom come
that will be done. Give us our daily read because
our trust passes.
