Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ready to strap Inny. It's going to be a heck
of a riote. It's like drinking from a fire hose.
Never a dull moment. But yes, you'll hear the stories
you won't hear anywhere else. And we appreciate you being
here with us form today. I'm Justin Barclay. Welcome to
the After Show, the Show after the Show, and I'll

(00:21):
tell you there's never a dull moment, never enough time
they get through it all. But that's why we do
this called the After Show, and we thank you for
being here and being a part of it. Got to
pick our sponsors today. We got some big news and
stories on the way that we've got to get to
and some of them, like I said, barely scratching a
surface on a full show. I want to get into

(00:41):
what is well the latest reason maybe you ought to
if you haven't already canceled your Netflix account. Elon Musk
of all people raising the alarm, a good story, a
little light out of darkness from this weekend's horrific attack
on the LDS church in Grand Blank, Folks coming together,

(01:02):
and Adam Carolla has a great new idea for rebranding
Eyes See Thinks maybe that's the issue, that's the branding problem.
Once you get that fixed, before we get to it all,
and we'll make sure we give you the latest on
the digital ID, that thing they're trying to shove down
the next and throats of folks here in the Europe
here we may have the same issues. We'll talk about
it all coming up. But first, you know, I told

(01:24):
you this the other day. I set up to macinlaw
and I gotta call from Lizzie said, yell, the the
air conditioner is not odd and the thing outside is
making a weird noise. What is that? Oh boy, Normally
and you're you know, you're out of town for something.
And by the way, whatever I go, I some always

(01:46):
never feels something always goes down. But normally this would
be like this the moment the time to start worrying.
Oh gosh, oh no, what's gonna that thing's gonna explode?
What's gonna happen? Is gonna have an issue? You got
to race back for No. No, I wasn't concerned at all.
It took one call to my friends at Protect Heating
and Cooling. They came out to check it out. And

(02:07):
I am so grateful because I didn't have to think.
I didn't have to worry. There were no headaches. Now
the best part I haven't even told you yet, which
is basically this. Well, they not only found that I

(02:30):
needed a new air conditioner, but I needed a new
furnace too. And you may be saying to yourself, why
are you happy about that? They have never seen anything
like it. I never heard of seeing anything like it.
But there was like two inches of water inside my
air condition The air conditioner is thirty years old, and
this thing had frozen up and melted and caused its
mess inside the furnace. Now here's the serious part, and

(02:56):
this is the god part. If this air condition one
have gone out, we would have never known. We would
have fired up that furnace, and I'm telling you, who
knows what would have happened. They found that inside the
heating coils there weren't just cracks, there were holes. This
is very dangerous thing, especially when it comes to CO

(03:17):
two and some of the other issues that can happen.
You know, natural guys, there's nothing to mess around with.
And of course, in this situation with the furnace, what
I'm telling you, I was just told and I believe it.
Somebody's looking out for you, thank God. So you know,

(03:42):
they were quick, they were easy to work with, and
I'm telling you I am forever grateful for everything that
they were able to do for us at Protech Heating
and Cooling. So I'm telling you, before you turn the
furnace on, before you crack that thing on this this season,
maybe reach out to them to see if they can

(04:04):
take a look at make sure everything's in good operating order.
If you want to look at some of the other
issues that they have, they can help you with all
kinds of heating and air. We did a hot water
heater with them a few years back. They've taken care
of us every step of the way, and we are
so grateful. Protect Heating and Co. Only go to protectgr
dot com or you can call six one six three

(04:24):
o three seven four three six. They're powering podcast at
my home right now. So I am grateful protect gr
dot com. All right, folks, Obviously that made a big
difference and is a big deal to me. So I
would thank them. If you get the opportunity, give them

(04:45):
a call and thank them for their support of the program,
but also for what they did to save us and
I'm not just talking about money. I'm talking big time. Okay, folks, Oh,
we got latest breaking news now. Mike Johnson, Speaker of
the House, is speaking. GOP leaders speaking on government shutdown.

(05:07):
I don't know do we want to take any of
this or do we.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Do?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
We care? I will tell you, I think it's kind
of interesting. I mentioned that earlier, and I think we're
gonna see more of this. My theory is they really
they don't mind that it's shutting down. In some ways,
you're good, Like I said, you're barely gonna miss some
of the things that they say are a problem you're
gonna miss. I don't know. Maybe nothing. I really can't.

(05:36):
I can't do it. The mail's gonna keep running, and
everything else. I can't tell you. I don't know what's
your you might miss. It's it's to me, and it's
just kind of strange. I don't know. I I feel
like Trump has walked these guys right into the latest trap,

(06:00):
the latest trip. He's got him right where he wants them,
and I don't know how, especially if they're able to
fire as many people as they say that they're going
to be able to fire and want to be able
to fire. I don't know how long it's going to be.
I really don't know how long it's going to be.

(06:20):
Before they started, they only need five more to cross over.
That's it, just five more to come on over and
join them. And yesterday I think you heard Fetterman making
sense again, which I got to tell you, this guy
is kind of he's kind of shown up almost like
an old school Democrat in a lot of ways. But

(06:42):
he mentioned this yesterday. He talked about his vote and
where he was and he sounded really reasonable. And on
the other hand, you have the Maxine Waters and the
Shoomers of the world. Yeah, I think we might have
to refresh. And when it's like it's making it sound
like he got he had a stroke again, not the
case s thing.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
I just voted for two crs, and now the first
one votes to affirm that we would like to extend
the ACA text credits, because of course I voted for healthcare.
The second vote is about making sure that we keep
our government open, and I did vote for that because
I think it's a sad event if we sut our
government down later today. So for me, our nation doesn't

(07:25):
believe that kinds of chaos now for me, it's about
more over the country, not the party in this kind
of moments, just like this, Hi, the same thing I
just voted for.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Interesting. Interesting. So the guy making sense, the guy well
in some ways there's sometimes he doesn't make completely It
is interesting to hear it isn't It really is something.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
I I kind of I kind of like I I
really tell you, I think these the more the days
go on here, these people, and I'm talking about Democrats
on the left, I think they just make the case

(08:31):
more and more people are leaving on a daily basis.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Fetterman has been has not been red pilled. He's just
not insane. Jason's that is a that's a that's a
good distinction. You're right, he's not completely conservative, it's not
completely come on over. But you know that's why he
stands out so much, is that he's not completely insane. Yeah,

(08:58):
well it makes it makes sense, It makes sense, and
it makes you kind of think about really, you know
what what's going on? You know you got to shut down.
It's happening because Democrats want to give insurance to illegal aliens,
as the President said yesterday in his oval office. And

(09:19):
I mean I didn't get to get to that. Yet,
let me get to the healthcare announcement in the Oval
Office here in a second.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Nothing is inevitable, but I would say it's probably likely
because they want to give health care to illegal immigrants,
which will destroy health care for everybody else in our country.
And I didn't see them bend even a little bit
when I said we can't do that. But nothing isn't
that interesting? Keep it down, get rid of all the
dead head jobs.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Lady who says over on X pretty sad when you
vote for the party that doesn't give a crap about you.
Dog gone crazy says over on the tube. Yeah, I know,
I know. There's a lot of people that don't understand.
They just don't get it. They I don't know. I
just don't know if they'll ever wake up while they're

(10:07):
Rentin and Raven and telling you this guy's going to
fall over. This shutdown because they want illegals to have
health Can you know what Trump is actually doing when
it comes to healthcare and actual real prices. He's bringing
the prices down prescription medications. They did a big deal
working on this. It's not at the end of the road,

(10:28):
but it's another step in the right directionser.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
Is Committee as well other drug companies as we go
through the weeks. But Pfizer is truly one of the
biggest in the world and one of the.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Greatest in the world.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Today, Pfizer is committing to offer all of the prescription
medications to medicate and it will be at the most
favored nations prices. It's going to have a huge impact
on bringing Medicaid costs down like nothing else. I told
you that in my first term, I was so proud
of the fact that the first time twenty eight years
drug prices came down and I had to do discufference

(11:03):
and I explain these one tenth of one percent.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Can you imagine how much people are having to pay
for everything? And that what that ends up being. And
some of you know, because you're having to pay the
price for these prescriptions, think out, I don't have any
but I mean, you ain't going to have to pay
this price. And some of these are non negotiable, right,
some of these you got deliver brether More.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Visor will invest seventy billion dollars to reshore domestic manufacturing facilities.
Is They're going to bring a lot of their facilities
to make their drugs and make what they make their product,
They're going to make it in the United States. I
appreciate that seventy billion dollar investment.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Making them in the United States. That's another big deal again,
and we've got to do this just so you understand
when stuff is outsourced and it comes from places like China,
they don't even make it here China. That's not good
for the United States in a big way. And why
it is a national secure are issued. Like if there
was another shutdown or we went to war or whatever,

(12:03):
how many people would die because we don't have this
stuff made here. How many people would die because China
all of a sudden decided they're not going to ship
it in. That would be incredible.

Speaker 6 (12:12):
As you all know, the President signed an executive order
earlier this year to solve the problem of exorbitant pharmaceutical pricing.
According to recent data, the prices that Americans have been
paying for brand name drugs are more than three times
the price others similarly developed nations pay. The President is
determined to solve this problem and took further action today.

(12:34):
He has signed seventeen letters to pharmaceutical companies CEOs, and
I would like to read you one of these letters
to the CEO of ELI Lilly. All of these letters
will be provided to you following this briefing. This is
to the CEO of ELI Lilly from the President of
the United States. On May twelfth to twenty twenty five,
I signed an executive order delivering most favored Nation prescription

(12:56):
drug pricing to American patients to stop global fleet free
law voding and guarantee that Americans pay the same prices
enjoyed by other developed nations. Right now, brand name drugs
in the United States are up to three times higher
on average than anywhere else for the identical medicines. This
unacceptable burden on hardworking American families ends with my administration.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Hey, yeah, we got to interrupt there. We've got breaking news.
That is breaking news, a rumble rant coming in from Nancy.
You think you Nancy literally just said it's the After Show.
But when we get a rumble rant, we break right
on through that. You can help support the program if
you want to with a rumble rent, just to drop

(13:40):
it in. All you gotta do is hit that little
bud little I think it's a dollar sign at the
bottom there and type in your message that that money
goes help to support the program and keep us live
and on the air, still working and getting the super
chats up and running on YouTube. I think you can
give stars on Facebook or join as a subscriber. There's

(14:02):
a new way to do that. I think it called subscription.
I don't know exactly how it works on Facebook, but
set that up to help support the program as well.
That's along with the folks in the VIP Freedom Fan
who'll get priority on top of it all. Thank you
to the folks there. Panda is in the house, cook
Card and so Gretor is hanging out with us, Spicy

(14:23):
Chemist and so many more. Loud thank you so much.
Appreciate you guys being here with us. Always a pleasure,
keeping the supporting this program, keeping us on the air.
You do it, and we are forever indebted because of it.

Speaker 7 (14:37):
We are protecting the medicaid population because they are our
most vulnerable and it is completely indefensible to charge more
for them than you would an affluent person in living
in Europe. So this is going to help take some
of the pressure off Medicaid, which of course states have
to pay. We compensate as well, but it's a hurt
it's a number one growing budget item for governors around
the country, just gives them relief. We also included in

(14:58):
today's program all new pro all new products have to
be released at most favored nation pricing, so as we
evolve and advance science in America and save more people
with cancer and treat more people with asthma or problems
with skin ailments, all those will be priced appropriately. And
we have several drugs, some big ones that were also
included by Fiser, that are already going to be at

(15:19):
most favored nation pricing within medicare, so across the board
we're achieving that. And again the magnitude of we're talking
about selling drugs at one tenth what they are listed
for right now, which is again dramatically below even the
list price. And the trump Rx opportunity also gives direct
access to these prices to everybody in America, including in
the commercial market. So if you don't like the prices

(15:41):
you're getting from your company, you can have trump Rx
as your backup and you'll see giving broader strokes of
success upcoming.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Wild Yes, again, all of this is kind of getting behind,
sort of pushed behind the scenes. It's underneath the rug
because of the shutdown. And again crazy like crazy rants
from people like AOC who say that people are going
to die because of Trump and the shutdown. But again,
none of this is reasonable, none of these people are real.

Speaker 8 (16:11):
Well, I'm not going to do is tolerate four million
uninsured Americans because Donald Trump decided one day that he
wants to just make sure that kids are dying because
they don't have access to insurance.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
You see what I'm saying that none of this is
rooted in like truth or logic or reality. Kids are
dying because they don't have insurance. To be real, that's
not if it doesn't happen, that's not happening. In fact,
they're giving it to illegals right now. They're giving insurance
to illegals right now, AOC.

Speaker 8 (16:46):
That's what's not going to happen. And so if those
senators think that we're having a shutdown because of me,
they're free to enter my office and negotiate, because what
we're not going to do is allow all of millions
of people in this country to not be able to
afford their insulin or chemotherapy. So come strike a deal
with me if that's what they really think is going on.
All right, what I'm not going to do is tolerant,

(17:08):
by the way, and uninsured Americans because Donald Trump decided
one day that he wants to just make sure that
kids are dying because they don't have access to insurance.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Where do you think the left gets it? It's violence?
Where do you think that comes from? Where do you
think this report from Rutgers University, This study found at
fifty percent of the left of center respondents believed it's
justified to murder people like Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
Where do you think they get that idea? Just baffling
to me. You gotta heard talking about Trump wants to

(17:42):
kill kids on TV.

Speaker 9 (17:43):
We want to ask you about this Rutgers report morning
on the network Contagion Research Center.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
This is their conclusion.

Speaker 8 (17:49):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (17:51):
Users online are increasingly associated the memefication of Luigi Mangione
with calls for political violence against Elon Musk, President Trump,
and others, reflecting the growing cybersocial presence of assassination culture.
And I show you have some findings that they have
here on justification.

Speaker 10 (18:09):
It's alarming and I want to put this up here.
This is a justification for murder of Elon Musk and
Donald Trump. And you'll see here they found that when
it came to the left of center, fifty percent thought
that it was justified to murder Elon Musk fifty six percent.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (18:28):
For President Trump, I want to ask you about this, Rutgers.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Where they where do you think they get it? Where
does it? Where does it come from? Unbelievable, it really is.
It's absolutely unbelievable. And yet there you have it. I
I'm telling you once again another one of these scenarios
that that's evil. There's no way to there's no way

(18:52):
to talk around that. There's no way to work around that.
Everything we've seen that, the attacks on churches, the attacks
on Assam sassination, Charlie Kirk, et cetera, all of it,
it leads to this place, very very bad place. That's
where it came from. Can you imagine how bad it gets?

(19:13):
Elon Musk, by the way, canceling his Netflix account after
they promote a kids show which pushes transgenderism on kids
and was written by an LGBTQ activist who mocked Charlie
Kirk's assassination. This this is uh. The postover on acts
from Elon this is not Okay. Lib's at TikTok shared

(19:35):
Oh my God, dead End Paranormal Park, a show on Netflix,
is pushing pro transgender on children. The show is advertised
for seven year olds being promoted on Netflix right now. Parents, beware,
you got it. You you just you can't. You have
to watch everything that the kids, everything that the kids

(19:57):
are watching. You have to see it all. You got
to make sure you're paying attention. It's just so sad.
I hate to even think about it, but it's you
can't stop looking at and paying attention to this stuff
because this is the kind of thing that they're constantly pushing.

(20:21):
And yeah, I really know, honestly, I don't know. Can
you imagine you let your kids just watch and you think,
by the way, this is on Netflix right now, and
this is a show that we used to let our

(20:42):
little girl watch, like our oldest when she was young.
But it got kind of off, I don't know. Thankfully
we grew out of it. It kind of got off
the rails. At one point. Netflix is now sharing something
called Cocoa Melon. And you just take a glimpse of
what you think is happening here. Thing that we know

(21:02):
about you.

Speaker 11 (21:04):
You love to get up next, how about you break
out those moves for your.

Speaker 12 (21:10):
Two biggest fans. If you're not sure what to choose,
and think about all the things you like to do,
just be you, Just be me.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Yep, when you're trying to decide, think about all the
things you like to do, just be you.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Two dads telling the kid just to be, just to
be you. It's so sad. We used to watch these
shows with our little girl like that one was one
of them. I just I can't, I can't. It's a

(22:01):
I can't even imagine, folks, I can't even imagine. Who
thinks that's a good thing. Who thinks that we ought
to do it? Like Netflix now seeing massive subscription cancelations
right now as Elon has joined the boycott. And oh,
by the way, they ought to, they ought to. I mean,

(22:24):
this is it's unthinkable what they're allowing. What is happening
with the kids, It's unthinkable. And you and and to
be clear here and and this is this is probably

(22:45):
something that is you know, the most understanding is that
this is not something that most people want. Here's the
clip of the show that is being mostly talked about
right now, uh about. It's called paranormal. First of all,
you would have had me at that, I would saying no,
I don't think so paranormal something or other. Anyway, this

(23:09):
is This is a clip of the show, and then
it's a longside the post a tweet on acts from
the guy who created the show, celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination.
Watch this.

Speaker 13 (23:24):
It's not the park, it's me. I'm trans normal and
everyone at school knows, and everyone at home knows. And
being here it's like a whole new place. I can
just be Barney, and I can choose if and when
I tell people I've never been happier, and that's saying something.
When I spent to day chased by terrifying zombie mascots,

(23:47):
Punsy reminded me how important it is to live your.

Speaker 12 (23:50):
Life without apology.

Speaker 13 (23:52):
So I think I gotta give living here a shot,
don't you.

Speaker 8 (23:55):
You don't need my permission. I just wouldn't want Courtney
as a roommate.

Speaker 9 (24:00):
Will be in.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Here is the creator on Blue Sky, Heave Eisner and
Glad Award winning creator of Dead India and Netflix's Dead
in Paranormal Part gomand Volume one out twenty twenty five
years What he writes, why the blank are you even
commenting on this expletive your sympathy for any of the

(24:26):
families being slaughtered by your weapons? But a random Nazi
gets shot and it's a public statement. You're such a
blinking evil blank. That's a guy's creating programming for children, supposedly,
and Netflix has a rating of TV seven on it,

(24:48):
So kids seven years and older apparently are.

Speaker 8 (24:55):
All right.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
They've said it, We're okay to watch that. I just
I just I don't. I don't How do how do
people continue to allow this stuff? I don't think we
still have the next fun ye, I gotta go find out,
because if we do, I got to cancel. I'm telling you,

(25:17):
I watched very little television, very little television, and the
stuff that I do watch I is, you know, very
clear on Hey, by the way, if you haven't done it,
Q broadcast isn't great. It's a great you you only
you only pay, like, you know, a couple bucks a day?
Is it? Maybe even less than that? Now? I don't.

(25:40):
I don't know what the new going rate is now,
but you can find out when you go to quit
justin dot com. Yeah, fifty nine ninety nine A month
now hassles, no contracts. You can cut the can. And
here's the thing. If you like watching sports and football
and news especially, but sports and football right now, college
even the NFL, and you don't get certain games certain places,

(26:02):
you can go through and watch them. You don't have
to pay for some you know, ticket or whatever they
call it Sunday to I don't know what they how
you had to pay extra for all that. You don't
have to do that. There's no subscription. In fact, you
can watch pay per view. Want to watch UFC with Trump,
you could watch it pay per view and it don't
have to pay more. It's just two dollars a day.

(26:24):
That's it. Qwth Justin dot com. Go to q with
Justin dot com to find out how you can take
advantage of that. Just just thought i'd throw that in there.
So we have an update. Dave Bondi, who we had
on the program the other day, has come out and
the church is confirming there in Grand Blank. In fact,

(26:45):
another church in Michigan confirming that the man who was
responsible for the attack the other day had gone to
another church, a campus in good Rich and asked about
getting his son baptized a Michigan church Dave Rides is

(27:06):
confirming that the man accused of opening fire to Grand
Blank Township House of Worship had a recent encounter at
one of its locations just days before the deadly attack,
and an email to members of the River Church shared
that Thomas Jacob Sandford, the suspect on Sunday's attack in
Grand Blank, visited its good Rich campus on September twenty first,

(27:28):
a week before the attack. Church leader say Sanford came
with his family and spoke with staff about wanting to
have his son baptized. According to the church's statement, Sanford
became agitated during that conversation, though he showed no signs
of physical violence and left without incident. While he became
agitated during the interaction, he did not show any indication,
they said. Church leaders say Sandford also had rented space

(27:54):
the same good Rich campage back in twenty fifteen. His
family used the building for a fundraiser related to this
UN's medical condition. They emphasized the event was a simple
facility rental, not a part of church ministry, but they
said following the tragedy of Grand Blank, law enforcement conducted
a full inspection of the good Rich location and cleared
it as safe. Officers also swept surrounding areas in abundance

(28:15):
of caution. We're finding out more about this this story,
and like I said, a very dark one at that,
but we're finding out more and it there's a little
bit of light that gets shown on some of this,
and in fact, I will say a this is one
of those sort of moments of hope. Members of the

(28:37):
LDS Church cross the country have come together, they rallied.
According to reports I'm hearing in an act of compassion
following the Michigan massacre, raising sixty thousand dollars for the
family of the attacker. We heard this moment of forgiveness

(29:01):
the other day Charlie Kirk's funeral. At the memorial service,
we heard this radical moment of forgiveness and it's incredible
what took place with his widow, Erica. It's absolutely incredible.

(29:29):
And now you hear the story that the LDS Church,
the community, in a radical act of compassion and forgiveness,
has raised sixty thousand dollars for the family of the attacker,
Thomas Jacob Sanford. The money to help cover funeral and

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
