Speaker 1 (00:00):
By from higher top Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
We're talking about what matters most to you in West Michigan.
Joining the conversation now at six one six seven seven
four twenty four twenty four. At six one six seven
seven four twenty four twenty four, It's West Michigan Live
with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
What a weekend. You know, sometimes it's like I need
a vacation from my vacation. I need a weekend from
this weekend. Uh for a number of reasons, but the
news is cheap among them. We're gonna get into these stories,
bring up to speed on everything that happened over the weekend,

(00:42):
and then it's a tall task, but we do our
best to do it. Also break through the noise and
get to the meat of what matters. Must We'll do
all that on this violent weekend and uh more, after.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
This news, weather and traffic, I'm break his stories of
the day. We are talking about what matters most in
West Michigan and beyond this is the big three now
say speak.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Three and the stories of a matter of motion. We're
talking about these round the water, cool the dinner table,
no matter where you are, powered by good friends at
Hartland Home Mortgage. They've got away and the team ready
to take care of you no matter what it is
that you need. That's right, the buy refine home equity
line of credit. They can set you up in a
number of different ways. Obviously they've taken care of us.

(01:36):
They've helped us, say thousands each and every time we've
worked with those folks. And I gotta tell you the
way the interest rates are moving now lately in the
Fed News. If you haven't heard the latest from Day
last week, I want to line check that out in
the podcast section. You can listen to it. Now's the time.
Take a look Number one h hm, the lending dot com.

(01:57):
But they had the wrong guy. That's what the police
in Providence day the attack on Brown University of the weekend,
leaving two people dead and nine wounded. A numbers may shift.
We're praying for those folks there during the finals weekend.
Police say they've let a person of interest go. I
don't won't say much about who they originally had because

(02:19):
the information obviously all of the still shifting. But the
individual shouted something before opening fire. There's more and what
happened in those classrooms an assistant professor describing how it
all went down, and the first victim of the shooter
was a president of Brown's Republican Club, a Christian, a Conservative.
Her name was Ella Cook and she's been idea as

(02:41):
the first victim and we pray for her family in
this horrific time just before Christmas. More on that story
coming out, we'll try and dig through it. This morning.
A more violence down Under, this time on the first
night of Hanuka. Two men attacking folks on Bandai Beach

(03:03):
there to celebrate Hanukkah in Australia. They killed fifteen. Again,
these numbers may shift as well. We pray for these folks.
Sixteen sixteen dead, including the I think the both of
the attackers were killed or is one still We know
one was shot and killed by a hero who jumped
in the seconds. In critical condition right now in the hospital.

(03:26):
As far as the latest update I had here, police
say suspects where the father and son. They're calling it
a targeted anti Semitic terrorist attack. Forty people remain in
the hospital, including two of the police officers who sat
from what I understand for like ten twenty minutes and
did nothing. Just horrific bystander video on this too. We'll

(03:50):
play that. But the hero stepping in, a man who
appears to be a Christian from while we're seeing the
reports online from a Maronite that's sort of a Catholic
sect of the church and stepping in removing the firearm
looked like a rifle from one of the men shot

(04:11):
during that action. For his bravery, but we thank God
that he had the courage to step in. Another horrific attack, folks,
I'm an anti Semitism problem. It seems like, you know,
Australia by the way, just to throw this out, they
want to crack down on guns. Even from I thought

(04:32):
to myself, wasn't Australia, didn't they already ban guns? The
answers yes. The details we'll try and pick through here
soon get a better understanding the context of all this
coming up in just a moment. Another attack this weekend
to report as well on troops in Syria, and now
folks arrested. Seria's Interior Ministry says it's detained five people

(04:52):
tied to that attack. A little man opening fire during
a joint interaction involving US and Syrian forces, officials say
two the US Service members and a civilian interpreter killed
with others wanted President Trump vowing retaliation for those deaths
in Syria. And again, as I mentioned, a really rough weekend,

(05:14):
one that turned very violent, and we're praying for all
those folks involved. Yeah, also Meatthead died. Meathead was killed,
which is another I saw the story last night. It
was about a fire in two people dead in this

(05:36):
home in Brentwood, and they said it was Rob Reiner's home,
and both both the individuals appeared to be about the
age of Reiner and his wife. And I at an't
know as much as you disagree with somebody, and he's
somebody who had massive trumped arrangement syndrome, but you just
hate to see anything. I think maybe that's the difference

(05:56):
between good and evil. By the way, you just hate
to see anything happen to anyone. And in the situation
of the curse, apparently this is a really sad story.
Maybe his son is the one to blame here. Erica
Kirk speaking on Unfortunate Erica Kirk and Candace Owens will

(06:20):
meet face to face today in person, and the tweet,
by the way, Candace confirms, is a lot to ask
about this story as well. I would pray and ask
you to join me in this that there would be
some sort of peace and agreement and understanding that comes

(06:42):
from this, because this is one of these very unfortunate
scenarios that really looks at this point to be tearing
a lot of people apart and particularly causing divisions and
fractions inside this conservative movement. Cannis Owens and I are
meeting for a private, in person discussion on Monday, December fifteenth,

(07:03):
that's today, Erica writes on X Candace, I have agreed
that public discussions, live streams and tweets are on hold
until after this meeting. I look forward to a productive conversation.
Thank you, Candice sharing that over on X as well

(07:25):
and saying that essentially that she is very much looking
forward to the discussion too. So there you have it,
those two again. Pray that they're some sort of understanding,
agreement and peace that comes out of that situation. Well,
I do. I think it's one of the things that's
causing massive riff right now in a time that we

(07:46):
really can't afford it. I see people arguing with me
online about all kinds of things, and I'm thinking to
myself and I see them mention things that I just
I see there's a massive sort of spirit of confusion
and vision that's permeating a lot of folks. And at
a time that I gotta say that I'm not to

(08:07):
blame any one person or individual, because we wrestle not
against flesh and blood. But let me tell you, I
just see this happening, and at a time that we
had massive one in twenty twenty four, and unfortunately right
after Charlie was killed. Fortunately he was killed, that was
an unfathomly tragic event. But afterwards seeing people come together,

(08:30):
record number of people attending church, and we saw people
coming together on campus, a revival in a lot of ways,
see a lot of things that are wrong in this world.
A lot of the issues that were suffering were the
issues that were facing. And they may seem political or
they may seem like the answers are rooted here in

(08:51):
the now, in the natural, but the truth is, like
I said, that's a much serious, deeper issue altogether that's
happening inside the entire thing. I don't know what to
tell you, folks. I just it's it's so sad to

(09:12):
watch it play out and again, to me, you know,
I see this stuff and it's it's it's it's obvious.
It's obvious. It's obvious. So how do you break the
back of all of this? How do you how do

(09:32):
you put an end to it? Some of the things
that we can talk about today, and we'll get into
a little bit later on this morning as well, But
we do have good news to report to you too,
so we'll talk about the the the issues at hand.
There's not a lot out of this, this Brown scenario, unfortunately.
I think we're going to probably find out and this

(09:54):
is just speculation. It's not rooted in anything other than
the knowledge that this woman, the first one, the first victims,
was such a prominent member of what that looks like,
at least the university there. She was a member. In fact,
she's vice president of the Brown Republican Club. She was

(10:15):
a Christian. Something was shouted at the attack. The interesting
thing to me was that when the president was asked
about what was happening in that classroom or at that
time in the university, she did not have an answer.
Some of the stuff that we're seeing come out of

(10:35):
this weekend is just really sort of it's perplexing. This
was hours later, reporters so frustrated, in fact, with the
president from Brown asking the question, what do you mean
you don't know four hours later or several hours later,
what exactly happened there? What do you mean you can't

(10:58):
tell us? And it's it's it should be alarming. There's
a reason. It's either she doesn't know, she's so incompetent,
or she's just not gonna tell you because she doesn't
she doesn't want to maybe cloud the investigation, which would
be admirable. But at the end of the day, there's
more on this. In fact, she may be not telling

(11:20):
you because it but it goes against a certain narrative
that she just doesn't want you to hear. It's very
possible in itself. I've got some of those clips are
going to play that coming up in a little bit.
You'll be able to hear. But I wanted to tell
you this. This This is Australia. This is one of

(11:45):
the bystanders explaining what happened, how he survived ten twenty
minutes or so while for policemen because the call's coming
and don't let him ever do it here. You see
what happened in the UK, the call's coming in Australia
right now. They want tougher strick as they say, gun control. Yeah,
the cops will come and save your chances are when

(12:06):
you take guns away from the good guys, the only
ones that have them left are the bad guys. And
that's what happened in this scenario when four policemen stood there,
in fact stood down and didn't fight back.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Can you tell me what happened?

Speaker 4 (12:20):
So there's two shooters, one on the bridge, one under
the bridge, just out.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
Of shoot for twenty minutes. They should should change change
your magazine and just shoot as simple as that. Twenty
minutes was four policemen there.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Nobody give fire back, nothing like they are froze like foot.
It looked like twenty minutes and they should the guy
change magazine. I look at him all the time. I
was doing my babies under me, and I look at
it and it's just rifel and a pistol and just
should shoult. And the other one was under the start

(12:57):
to come close to the audio one. I think one
of the people come took his wifle and shoot him.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I can't imagine he's describing right now, is what happened
with the hero there in Bondai Beach. But you just
hear what he says. I'm sitting there, I'm covering my
kids there on the ground. I'm over the top, and
I'm watching this ten twenty minutes. He says. They're switching magazines.
He's perplexed, he can't understand it, and the police do nothing.

(13:25):
There were four of them there, he said. Now whether
they were armed, or whether they were told instructed to
stand down, or as he said, they just froze. Can
you imagine you and I are told constantly by the
left that if we take the guns away, they'll be
good guys there to protect us. What happens when the
good guys do nothing. That's how evil prevails, folks. And

(13:51):
in fact, that's what happened until one guy who was
good stood up jumped in the hero from Bondai Beach.
You can see on the video. In fact, we're playing
a slow mo right now. Let's speed it up for folks.
He can hear the shots here. He goes up. He's
tackling right now, this individual, and I'll pull the sound down.

(14:12):
He grabs the gun or the rifle, the long rifle,
away from the assailant. Looks to be the father I
think is in his fifties. The son was in his twenties,
and I believe even shot. I think he's the one
who shot and killed. And now he's got his hand up.
Now the father makes it up to a bridge. A
little bit later on, he lays the gun down. The

(14:33):
hero lays the gun down next to your tree, so
he's not confused. And then somebody comes up throws something
at that man, and eventually he will make it up
to a bridge where he eventually bleeds out, and he
has met there with his son. He collapses on the bridge.
But if it weren't for the hero, the good man

(14:54):
who stood up and fought back, might be a different
story today down under altogether. Thank god he had the
courage to take action. All right, More coming up in minutes, folks,
on a weekend. You're trying to make sense of it all,

(15:16):
and I'll just tell you most of this is senseless.
How do you explain evil back? With more? After this,
you can join the program a time six one, six, seven, seven,
twenty four. No matter what the headlines, how bad the
news is, the good news is, folks, God is still

(15:37):
on his thrown. He's still sovereign, and we're called to
step in. What are you being called to step in
to today? Good question, setting the record straight.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on News Radio

And on demand anytime on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
Here are your headlines from the Midwesterner this Monday, December fifteenth.
I'm Robin Poffman. It's a Midwesterner dot News original story.
She hasn't set a peep about the water crisis in Flint,
and now on our ex page, Secretary of State Democrat
Joleslyn Benson suddenly showing concern and blaming Republicans, who she
claims are trying to cut funds instead of, in her words,

(17:38):
prioritizing health and safety. Here in Michigan, residents rallying against
data center proposals in Van Buren and Washington townships. Many
residents are worried about how much electricity these facilities use
and are concerned about blackouts due to the strain on
the grid, and police in Brentwood, California, say Actor Rob Reiner,
best known for his role as Meathead in the TV

(18:00):
show All in the Family, stabbed to death in his
home along with his wife. Biner also directed hit movies
including When Harry Met Sally, Spinal Tap, and a Few
Good Men. For these stories and more, visit The Midwesterner
at the Midwesterner dot news.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
I have a man hut underway right now at a
breaking news news conference happening a Brown University as we
speak in Providence. This morning's parent with all the members
of our community to share the best information.

Speaker 6 (18:32):
And I know that they said that the community doesn't
need to worry right now, but you can understand if
people are worried.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
Yeah, I mean the community didn't have to worry before
the incident either, right there was no threat that it
was going to happen. But we don't know where this
guy is and until he's in custody, they are still
a threat.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
This is a problem. The guy still as I mentioned,
and I don't know that we gave it enough attention earlier.
The guy's still in the lose. Whoever this is, it's
responsible in Providence, Rhoda, wherever. They may be still on
the loose and on the run, and they don't have

(19:10):
they don't have a lot of leads on this right now. Again,
the person of interest dated the wrong guy, the one
they initially arrested. Apparently they had to let go didn't
line up for whatever reason. We'll continue to follow the
details on this coming up. We do have good news
I gotta make sure I share with you Beyond the

(19:30):
hero at Bandai Beach, there are other folks that talk
about and other good things that are happening, So try
and make sure you hear those as well. Back after
this our bottom the hour news on West Michigan Live,
let's talk some good news. In fact, we just shared
some of this off the air. It's a big story.

(19:50):
President Trump talking about eighteen trillion in investment coming back
into the country.

Speaker 8 (19:54):
Extent because without the November fifth election, you would have
had a president that didn't have the current to use
tariffs the way they should be used. And because of
the tariffs, we've taken in more than eighteen Think of this,
eighteen trillion dollars has never been anything like it. As
an example, the previous administration, Sleepy Joe Biden, took in

(20:15):
less than one trillion in four years. We took in
more than eighteen trillion in ten months. I'd say that's
pretty good, right, I'd say that's very good. And if
you go back, if you go back into history, there's
never been a country that's taken in more than.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Three trillion he's talking of. He's talking about investment into
the country, and we've seen that. We've seen a big
push to make it here in America. Again, those are
those are dollars pouring in in plants and factories and
investment chips and cars. Here in Michigan. In some places
we've seen just just trillion after trillion, eighteen trillion dollars,

(20:53):
he said, good news. And again the reason why I
bring this up is you've got to hear this. Folks say, well,
if we don't get certain things together, you know people
are hurting. If we don't fix this, we don't do
that by the midterms, you know things are going to
be shaky. Well, I disagree. I think if you don't
talk about the good things, if you don't share the

(21:14):
good things, if you don't do your duty to make
sure that other people around you see it, understand it,
and know. Like this story here, every time I mentioned
the gas price is the lowest they've been in four years. Incredible.
I just went to fill up the other day. I said,
two seventy something admire. Oh my goodness, I can't remember
the last time I saw it that cheap in Michigan. Folks,

(21:34):
if you don't share those stories and you don't talk
about that, and people say, well, you don't get the
Trump president doesn't control the gas prices. We why weren't
they low under Biden? It is it is singularly the
policies of this president are driven the fuel price is lower.
So we got to give credit where credit is too.
And speaking of that at the state level here in Michigan,

(21:54):
let's give credit to House Republicans who've uncovered hundreds of
millions of dollars last week alone in waste fraud and
abuse hidden inside slush on the Speaker to House is
on with us right now, talk about the latest. We
appreciate you taking the time to be here with this,
mister speaker.

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Hey, thanks for having me that hole here.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
And you know, as I mentioned, we got to make
sure we're talking about the good news, and this is
one of those stories that can't be ignored.

Speaker 7 (22:26):
I appreciate you pointing that out. You know, we we
came in and we had a mission to eliminate waste,
fraud and abuse and government. Every time we take an
action to do that, they're the Democrats live. I remember
earlier this year when we uncovered thousands of ghost employees,
fake workers the Whitmer administration was using the PAD department programs.

(22:51):
We got her to sign a bill to cut two
thousand ghost workers, and they don't laugh anymore. Well, now
you know, we've uncovered all kinds of wasteful grants and
department pork spending from the Democrat trifecta, and we said
we're going to take an ax to this, We're going
to eliminate it, and then we're going to come back

(23:13):
next year. We're going to negotiate a new deal, and
we're going to get much better use for your tax dollars.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Yeah. I think one of the biggest stories here, obviously,
is the work you guys are doing behind the sceintes.
People have to hear it if it doesn't make it
to the light a lot of times, and I don't
blame people for this, but a lot of times folks
get frustrated think nothing's going on. All I hear is talk.
But that's that's just not the case. There's lots of things,
lots of action, big moves, particularly this from House Republicans

(23:43):
that are leading the way.

Speaker 7 (23:45):
Yeah, and I recognize. You know, for years the people
voted for the Republicans, and then they looked at it
and said, you know, why are we voting for the Republicans.
These guys are not fighting hard enough. And I think,
you know, President Trump has led the way showing the
Republicans how to fight. And you know this provision we used,

(24:08):
and I told the governor, this is my favorite Michigan law.
This is the law under the Budget Act that allows
one chamber. And remember in Michigan we only control one chamber,
we only control the House. It allows one chamber to
unilaterally block the governor at the end of a year,

(24:30):
so we appropriate a budget, they're supposed to spend that
money in one year. What used to be the exception
is now becoming the rule under Whitmer, where most of
the money she doesn't spend all of it in the
year because she has way too much money, so she
tries to put it into a slush fund so she
can keep it for another five years. We can block

(24:53):
that with one chamber, and that's what we did. And
I'd say for years, whether it was governor Grandholm or
the first two year two terms, or two years of
Whitmer or first four years of Whitmer. The Republicans had
this power, they just never had the guts to use it.
And I really want to compliment Anne Bolan, who's our
House Appropriations to here, all of those warriors on the

(25:14):
House Appropriations Committee who walked in there and had the
guts to stand in and block the Whitmer administration from
spending six hundred and forty four million dollars on mostly
waste fraud and abuse, forcing it to go back in
the general fund so that the legislature can have a
say in how this money is spent in the future.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Yeah, speak of the House, Matt Hall with us right
now as Republicans turning things along around doing things that
as you mentioned, the President giving you the courage to
stand up and do some of those things and cover
really to make sure that those things are taking place.
They've been hearing a lot about Doze in the in
the headlines, but now this is in fact, we got
a Michigan. Doe had it our way as well. This

(25:56):
is just maybe the tip of the iceberg when it
comes to the waste fraud and the abuse here that's
happening at the state level. And as you mentioned, Democrats
playing these games for years with these slush funds. People
are tired of it.

Speaker 7 (26:10):
Yeah, I mean this has accumulated ten billion dollars in
slush funds for the Whitmer administration. And you know, if
you look through the new spending they were trying to
continue for another five years, you know, this was their
their pot of money for all of the to put
all the tampons in the boys' bathroom and all the
state buildings. This was their pot of money for all

(26:33):
the illegal rental subsidies and welfare. This was where they
funded the diversity festivals, all of their DEI initiatives. This
was where they spent money to try to build EV
chargers all over the Lake Michigan Lake Shore, all of

(26:53):
the efforts to draw funding from the Biden era climate
climate programs, all kinds of waste, fraud and abuse, and
we slashed it. And the Democrats, I've never seen them
this mad before. They are so addicted to the pork
in the budget. If you take a whack at the pork,
that's I mean, there's nothing that wakes up the Democrats

(27:17):
like that. But We're ready for this fight. We are
going to get better value for your tax dollars.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
House Speaker Matt Hall. The Republicans making big moves, all right,
So this is a this is big news, right, this
is a really good news. What is next? Obviously as
you continue down this path, what are you all looking at?
What are the next pieces maybe that folks need to
be aware of in the days they end.

Speaker 7 (27:42):
Yeah, So we stripped all of the slush funds from
the Big Department. So, for example, Joscelyn Benson wanted to
keep millions and millions of dollars to buy foreign election
equipment and contract with sorospack technology companies ahead of the
twenty twenty six election, and we blocked all of that.
We blocked all of her money for it. This was

(28:05):
something that she's been really mismanaging the IT programs, and
even the Democrats came in and took some of it
away from her. We blocked all of her IT spending.
You know, the DNR is out of control, just just
you know, doing all kinds of things beyond their power.
We took all of their money away. And so now

(28:28):
they're going to have to negotiate with Chairman Ken Borton
if they want to get their money back, and we're
going to you know, we're going to continue to tighten
our grip on them to ensure that they are doing
what they should be doing for our hunters and fissures
across the state.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Speaker of the House Matt Hall mentioning some of these
issues obviously got more work to do, but I think
it's important to highlight what's already been done in the
big moves that are happening behind the scenes. Is mister Speaker,
you take the time to do that with us, and
I got, like I said, I know you've got more
work to do, and you're you're working NonStop behind the
scenes there. Before I let you go, we'll say Merry Christmas,

(29:11):
Happy New Year to you, and please come back. Let
us know in the new year what priorities are and
where you guys are headed, the jobs to things that
you're trying to get done. And we love the course
to get a chance to get that out there, because
again I'm making this case twenty twenty six. Obviously you
know it's got to be important for the nation, but
I think it's going to be even more critical for

(29:32):
us here in Michigan to take our state back.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
Yeah. Well, thank you for having me and we you know,
I want the people to know we're in there fighting
for him every day, standing up to Governor Whitmer and
the Democrats and the Senate getting better value for your
tax dollars. And next year we'll be working to get
property tax relief to the people across the state. I
think we've used We've had a credible power controlling one

(29:59):
branch of the three in government, just the House, forcing
them to cutway fraud and abuse, getting Governor Whitmer to
sign no text on tips, overtime in social security, and
we got more to do next year.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Absolutely, always a pleasure. Thank you for taking the time
here with us. Speaker of the House.

Speaker 7 (30:16):
Matt Hall, thank you.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
You got it all right, folks. More continuing in just moments,
don't go anywhere. I got good news, in fact, a miracle,
an update on a recovery of the National guardsman that
was shot Andrew Wolfe in DC, the one that survived.
You won't want to miss this. We'll be back with

Republicans for cutting funds to fix the issues, and as

(33:28):
from you. And boy, like I said, I just love
every now and then. Got to give you some good
news that I've got this. This is a story we've
been kind of hanging on pins and needles for. But
Andrew Wolf staff Starge and Andrew Wolf out of the
National Guard West Virginia was stationed there in Washington, DC,

(33:49):
and you know they were just worn. I believe that
day to go in and do what they were doing
when they were ambushed by that evil attack, that man
shouting Allah Akbar and the rest of it, of course
from Afghanistan. But the good news is this, we've been

(34:11):
hearing about his recovery. We've been hearing about the things
that were happening, like he was acknowledging what President Trump
last week tell us, he was acknowledging people he was
alert and aware. Now he is really making progress. I
think what I've heard is that he's been up, he's

(34:32):
on his feet. The MedStar Washington Hospital Center neurosurgeon Jeffrey
May sharing that sixteen days ago, Staff Stars and Andrew
Wolfe was airlifted to MedStar Washington with critical gunshot wounded
a head. Thanks to the immediate response to the emergency
personnel and the exceptional care provided by our trauma and

(34:53):
neurosurgery teams, he received life saving treatment, including emergency surgery
to control bleeding and relief pressure on his brain. Today,
we are proud to share that Staff Sergeant wolf has
made extraordinary progress. He is now breathing on his own,
can stand with assistance. This is an important milestone, both

(35:14):
of them really, that reflect his strength and his determination.
Based on these improvements, he is now ready to transition
from acute care to inpatient rehabilitation as the next step
in his recovery journey. We extend our deepest gratitude to
our dedicated physicians and nurses, support staff, and more who

(35:36):
have cared for him every step of the way. The
family says, We're so grateful to the staff at MedStar Washington.
All of the doctors and nurses also want to thank
the world for the prayers. We know and appreciate the
power of prayer, and we see the results of God
working with and through these amazing medical professionals. People around

(35:58):
the world are praying for Andy, and the presence of
God was evidence in his room on many occasions. They
asked that you please continue to lift him up in
prayer as he begins a long and tough rehabilitation road,
but they know he will continue to improve at a
rapid place. Please continue as God heals Andrew and gives

(36:19):
him the strength to return to work in the West
Virginia National Guard and his new mission of being a
light into this world. Wow. Fantastic from both the doctors
and the family there. Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe andest I don't.
I don't know that you could. You could think of

(36:39):
a better outcome. Unfortunately, the outcome didn't match. For the young,
young lady that was attacked that day, we continue to
pray for her, for her family, and obviously we continue
to pray for for the folks that are that are

(37:02):
affected by that that attack. Speaking of prayer, it was
front and center on the field with the football game,
the Bills and the Patriots the other as they knelt
for prayer. I don't know if it's before or after
that game. Looks like it might have been before, but
I either way, it doesn't matter. This was front and

(37:24):
center in a at another moment the NFL, I think, wow,
just inspiring. Speaking of which, did you catch the Army Navy?
The Army Navy game this weekend? I should have played
this this the national anthem to start our show today.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
Incredible Who's the Sons.

Speaker 7 (38:04):
Song? The f Sons?

Speaker 5 (38:12):
Not so.

Speaker 7 (38:17):
Three? See as the same.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Days say.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Say so, say oh wow, what an incredible moment President

(39:13):
there on field for the coin toss and more. That's
the kind of stuff that hits you and it feels right,
gives you the goose bumps and makes you proud to
be an American. Could use a little bit more of that,
couldn't we this day and age? Fantastic at More of
the after show coming up. Yeah, we've got story after stories,

(39:36):
some more good news. I got to make sure I
share with you as well before we completely wrap things up.
And yes, I'll do just that in the after show.
Whether you listen live or archive, Facebook, Twitter, RECs, rumble getters, locals, YouTube,
make it a great one, folks. The Glenn Back Program
is next. God bless
