Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio
in the pen.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Then stay wait, the countdown is on, going to make
day and uh two hundred and forty nine, celebrate two
hundred and fifty next year. As as this is, this
is a really big momentous year. We're gonna be kicking off.
I cannot wait. We'll be talking more about that and
(00:26):
the importance. You know, yesterday I talked a little bit
about patriotism, the story that patriotism, the polling down, Patriotism
is declining on America. I want to tell you why
and how we can fix that. Comment out plus big news.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Deads, weather and traffic, his stories of the day. We
are talking about what matters most in West Michigan and beyond.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
This is the Big Three. Now say speak three. They
did it, the Senate got it done. Going back to
the house to let us on the beautiful Bill Alligator Alcatraz.
There's a ceasefire. The news never stops, and neither do we.
That's why we're bringing you all the latest powered by
(01:11):
good friends at Heartlett Home Mortgage, Dave Galloway and the
team ready to set you up. What do you want
to buy? Refine home echoed Atlantic Credit. They've got custom
solutions for each and every individual. Helped us save thousands
every time we work with it. Many folks who listen
to the program soon number one Dave Gataway and the
folks at h HM lending dot com. Well, it's done,
(01:36):
the Senate passing it, and of course Vice President jd
Vance with that tie breaking vote here he is making
that announcement.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Votes in the affirmative, that bill as amended is past,
and you have it on this vote fifty.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, so it's fifty one to fifty. Now what happens
next and really what's inside. Let's talk about it because
the biggest piece of this are the tax cuts. A
lot of people out there pooh pooing the whole thing,
but I got to give you the full details on
the way we'll do just that. One is President Trump said, well,
(02:21):
he's very happy. Right now. They are now looking at
and talking about the Trump and Israeli backed cease fire
with Hamas and Velli, a US broken proposal, a sixty
day deal backed by Israel said to be delivered via
Katar and Egypt. The deal requiring Hamas to release an
initial group of ten living hostages in eighteen deceased talks
(02:45):
named that extend to get or making it permanent. Thereafter
Israel endorsing the plan, Trump warning Hamas rejecting it risks
wor sitting conditions, but Amas hasn't formally accepted it, insisting
on assurances of a full into the war in Israeli withdraw.
It's big, beautiful news. It's fantastic. In fact, if you
(03:09):
have children and daughters like I do, this is a
story that is going to make you very, very happy
to hear that much is being done and a lot
of it is actually due to you and how you voted, folks.
And what do I mean by that, Well, the news
is out President Trump putting the pressure on you, pen
(03:32):
and they are stripping swimmer Leah Thomas of the well,
not only the titles, but any and all of the
accolades that Leah Thomas received, titles, all of them being
revised into women's swim records. A Department of Education investigation,
(03:54):
part of the Trump era pushed found the university violated
Title nine by allowing that biological man. By the way,
it didn't take a scientist to figure this out, didn't
take an investigation. You and I uh knew this all along.
You pin also issuing apologies to female swimmers, although I'm
hearing they're sort of half hearted. We'll have to adopt
(04:16):
biology based definitions of gender and banded biological males from
female teams and facilities. So there you have it, the
latest and good news. See this this right here, This
is what I voted for.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Now at six one six seven seven four twenty four
twenty four at six one six seven seven four twenty
four to twenty four West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay
on News Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one oh six nine.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
A f M. All right, you and me, we got
some more to do. Let's get to it. I do
want to break this down the numbers. I did it
yesterday in the after show, and I had few people
reach out, and I thought, you know, it's probably worth
talking about on the full radio show as well, the
decline in patre the numbers that gallup came out with
the pulling yesterday. It turns out it's one side. I
(05:03):
don't want to talk about that why and especially how
we can turn it around. That's maybe the most important
part as as we celebrate two hundred and forty ninth
part day of the country and then into that next year,
the two hundred and fiftieth year. Yeah, it's it's a
conversation that needs to happen. We'll get to it coming
(05:24):
up after this. All right, Oh yeah, you want to
jump on the phone of the iHeartRadio app MK the
funeral homes. Lets you do it with that that talk
back feature on the microphone as well. All right, what's
inside the big beautiful Well, at least the Senate portion
that was sent back. The House is going to have
to deal with this now. I want to talk about
(05:45):
the next things that are that are coming. President Trump
speaking out it yesterday. It was alligant at Alcatraz and
he was touring the facilities. Questions here from a reporter
passed in the Senate.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
But we are already hearing from some Republicans in the
House who say they cannot get on board with the
changes that were made to the bill in the Senate.
What is your message to those holdouts?
Speaker 5 (06:05):
Well, I just heard that about the Senate and the
bill just passed, and it tells you there's something for everyone.
I mean, we have it's a great bill. There is
something for everyone, and I think it's going to go
very nicely in the House. Actually, I think it will
be easier in the House than it.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Was of the Senate.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
And just to be clear on the Medicaid cuts, you've
promised not to cut Medicaid said, this is all just
targeting waste, fraud and abuse. Are you saying that the
estimated eleven point eight million people who could lose their
health coverage that is all waste, fraud and abuse.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying it's going to
be a very much smaller number than that, and that
number will be waste, fraud and abuse. And if you look,
they took a much more liberal stance on the Medicaid
situation than they could have they had. They had a
tough stance and a weak stance. They took us not
a very strong stance on that to start off. And
it's waste, fraud and abuse, and everybody wants that covered.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
What number is that?
Speaker 4 (06:58):
What analysis are you seeing.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
I'm not seeing a number, but I know it's much
less than the number you gave. And we really were
very very cognizant of three things. Social Security. We're going
to take care of it beautifully, Medicare and Medicaid, and
we are going to save it, whereas the Democrats are
going to you won't have it. They will destroy Medicare
and Medicaid and they have to because their numbers don't work.
(07:22):
So it's not gonna happen. They're the ones that have
destroyed Medica. They have made it so bad already, they're
going to make it a lot worse. But now we'll
be in charge, so we're going to have no problem
with Medicaid or Medicare or Social Security.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
And well, I guess I probably need to do more
than anything here is point out that everything you're in
the fog a war right now, everything you're hearing about
the bill, you have to really sort of walk through
it and do your digging on your own. Somebody asked
me about this yesterday, and a great question you always say,
(07:58):
and I hear Glenn say it all the time, to
do your own research. Well, yeah, because whether it's me
and I get it wrong and I'm doing my best
to get it right, but you know, occasionally that happens right,
or it's someone else and they're intentionally getting it wrong.
You know, they're leaving things out, they're not giving you
context of everything, whatever it might be, these it's you're
(08:21):
gonna have that happening. So what you need to do
is you need to go actually look. Don't just read headlines,
but look into the things, especially when it comes to big,
big stories like this one. All right, so the big
beautiful bill tax cuts. This is this is the latest
tax cuts, Republicans argue. And by the way, if it
was only the tax cuts, I would have vote for its.
(08:41):
It's just that we're getting so much more tax cuts,
Republicans and Trump are you could spur enough growth to
offset the costs. The CBO and fiscal hawks say it
would add. So just just remember that when you're hearing
one sided, whether it's Rand Paul or whether it's Thomas Massey.
You know, and I like these tho Elon Musk, I
like these, I like mal but when you're hearing them
(09:05):
talk about these things, you've got to realize is there's
nuance to the conversation. And I respect a lot of
these people, and I just you know, I want to
make sure Elon, even in his messaging, seems to miss
a big piece of this is that the cuts that
they're saying, the spending cuts that they want to do
(09:25):
can't be done in this particular type of bill. It's
a process and procedure issue. Now that's a Trump's fault,
that's not even the people's fault that are in Congress.
So when you have and there is we talked about
a bit of more of the rift yesterday between musk
And and Trump on this or Thomas mass whoever it
(09:50):
might be, you have nuance that has to be considered.
So critics say this is going to drive deficits above
seven percent of GDP, deepening long term fiscal strain and
cutting health and food support. And now that's the other thing.
You got to know. Democrats don't care about deficits. They
don't care about spinning. They just care that they're spinning
(10:12):
is getting cut. So they care about cutting health and
food support amid rising debt levels. That's all of the
that's all the medicaid talk. We just turned build next
heads to the House, Republicans racing to me the self
and post deadline July fourth. So what's inside. Here's what
we have. Permanent Trump era tax cuts. This is first
(10:34):
and foremost, this is number one permanent Trump era tax
cuts from twenty seventeen. If these expire. It's a disaster
for the country. It's a disaster for you and me personally,
but it'll be a disaster for the country because your
tax is gonna go up, and already when you've seen inflation,
which is another tax itself gone out, I mean you're
(10:56):
gonna be left with very little. The tax cuts aimed
at boosting middle class income and job growth. Again, that's
the number one overall go but it just if it
just did that, I'd be happy. But there's so much more.
Here's the other piece, border security billions for the wall,
(11:17):
more border patrol agents, and expanded deportation authority ICE included
in that, folks. It is the promise he stood on
of securing the border and making the deportations happen to
get rid of the folks who are here, the criminal
aliens here illegally. Defense spending a significant increase in military funding,
(11:38):
including new investments and weapons, pay raises for troops and
cyber defense, something that is critical in the future and
the coming years ahead, because we know wars aren't going
to always be kinetic. A lot of them are just
going to be cyber and fought in cyberspace. Particularly medicaid
and welfare reforms. These are cuts to entitlements with tighter
(12:00):
eligibility and work requirements. In other words, if somebody scam
their way on or I'll put it to you this way.
A lot of Democrat states, a lot of blue states
like Michigan, trying to throw as many people on the
Medicaid as possible. They want to bloat and inflate those
roles so that you are dependent on them and the
(12:21):
government because whenever they give you, folks, you never you
never really want them to take it away, and they
never really want it take it away because that's just
another way to control you. So there's a lot of
people on those roles, and particularly in Michigan, that really
don't have to be on Medicaid. In other words, they
(12:43):
can work, they can afford, they can get their own
health insurance just like the rest of us and the
other people that do deserve it and need it, actually
do need it. They should stay and will get the
treatment and the coverage that they need. That's a whole story.
But they're conflating now. There's a massive number and I
(13:03):
didn't hear him say this, although this needs to be said.
There's a massive number of people that are being covered
on Medicaid et cetera, that are being covered that aren't citizens,
and I don't hear them talking about that at all.
And the fact that you're struggling put food on the
(13:24):
table and pay your medical bills, et cetera, while people
who have invaded this country are getting covered for free.
Now that should shock and disgust everyone. It absolutely should
shock and disgust everyone. Now we got more. There's I'm
just beginning to scratch the surface of what's inside. We'll
(13:45):
talk more about that coming up here in just a second. Plus.
A big problem and I think it's a great time
to address it right now. Patriotism hitting record levels lows
in the country. I'll tell you who's really driving it,
why it's happening, and how we fix it. Coming up.
Don't go anywhere. We're back after this on West Michigan Line. First,
(14:09):
if you're able, please stand for the national anthem.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Make your smart speaker smarter stream.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Us Okay, getting smarter Now.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barclay on news Radio
Wood thirteen hundred and one oh six nine a FM.
Speaker 7 (15:37):
Here are your headlines from the Midwesterner this Wednesday. July second.
I'm Robin Hoffman. It's a Midwesterner Dot News original story,
another Whitmer debacle. The Governor's office had negotiated with the
company LG Energy Solution to build electric vehicle batteries at
a brand new plant in Holland. The company announcing the
(15:57):
one point four billion dollar expansion is now complete with
the help of hundreds of millions in taxpayer subsidies. The
plant will not be producing EV batteries, has promised in
other news. Folks here in Michigan looking to hike through
some of the state's trails over the Fourth of July
weekend may be in for a big surprise, as they
learned sixty percent of the road still damaged from winter weather.
(16:20):
This comes three months after Governor Whitmer promised to fix
these areas hit by the ice storm, and a record
seventy two million Americans expected to travel over the Fourth
of July holiday. For these stories and more, visit the
Midwesterner at the Midwesterner dot News.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
So we got a bit of a problem, We're being
told a patriotism problem, and these these numbers are record lows.
I've got the solution for it, and I want to
talk about that, but I also want to give you
the numbers. Yesterday we sort of only scratched the surface
of the end of the show, and then we got
into a really robust and detailed explanation and the plan
(17:00):
of attack yesterday during the after show, the show after
the show. So I just want to make sure that
you heard about this and we gave you a chance
to participate, because I think more hands on deck on
this the better. And I'll explain to you. Speaking of which,
we need you in the fight. Man, I've been telling
you this for a while now. We need you to
be the best husbands, the best fathers, the best men,
(17:22):
showing up on your calling on a daily basis. It
doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing. We
got to have you any more energy, maybe more strength
and drive you used to have, it's all been fading. Well,
it turns out it's not your fault. Test testerone levels
and men have dropped every generation in normal ranges. They lie.
That's why over twenty thousand men have come to mentality
(17:44):
because normal doesn't build legacies. And like I said, we
need you now more than ever in this fight, save
our country, to save your families, become the man you
used to be and even better live longer. You've been
waiting for a sign. This is it. Nothing's going to change,
they say, until you do. Mentalityhealth dot com slash Radio
go today and take your life back. That's mentalityhealth dot
(18:07):
Com slash Radio. Back after this, don't go anywhere, checking
our bottle of our headlines, and we're back with you next. Hey,
we are just days away from the two hundred and
forty ninth birthday of this great nation. I want to
get into it and talk about the big celebration that
you have to come next year. I think we just
can't wait to celebrate with you this weekend. And I've
(18:30):
got details about one celebration you're gonna want to be
a part of coming up. We'll give you a full
scoop in just moments as we are live on WHAT Radio.
So I talked about this yesterday in the after show,
and I had folks said, mat to, you want to
talk about it on the radio, because I think folks
missed it. I shared this story yesterday. There was a
(18:53):
there was a big news headline from gallup to a
Pole said, yea prize down. Patriotism is down, and I said,
there's a truth to this. You got to do the digg.
It's just like anything else. National pride just hit its
lowest point in twenty five years, was the headline. Only
fifty eight percent of American adults now say they are
extremely or very proud to be an American. But when
you break the numbers down, here's what you find. Ninety
(19:18):
two percent of Republicans say that their pride remains sky high.
But Democrats. Democrats have plummeted to thirty six percent, independence
fifty three. The bulk of the drop in this last
year came from Democrats. My question is why do they
hate America. Well, I'll tell you why. It is the
(19:41):
mainstream media machine that over the last year has done
as much damage as they could do to try to
stop President Trump for getting re elected in part and
try to stop you from being proud of this country
because if you are in them. And let's be honest,
this wasn't just something that happened over the last year.
This is something that happened well, it was decades, decades
(20:05):
in the making, it really was. This is something that
they have been working on for generations. You know, we
are the country folks, it's stormed the beaches of Normandy.
We planted a flag on the moon, blasted bon Jovi
(20:26):
through those tiny speakers there to burrowin wall as it
all came crumbling down. But in twenty twenty five, nearly
half of your neighbors shrug at the very idea of
this country. And some of them are rabidly anti America.
But many of them it's not their fault. See, they've
(20:46):
been indoctrinated through the mainstream media through the years. The
school system, the public school system is rush used to
call it, and that's exactly what it is. Because Democrats
hate this country. They were taught to do so. Gen
Z Even worse, only forty one percent feel much pride
(21:07):
at all. Some may say this is just a phase,
maybe it's just a hiccup, but I'm telling you, if
we don't step up and stop it now, it will
be the ruin of this great nation. Democrats and Republicans
(21:27):
are separated from a thirty nine point pride gap. Thirty
nine points. We're talking about patriotism, the bare minimum. This
is what takes to glue the country together, folks, to
hold us no matter what we're going through, Remember that
old saying, and I'll just agreed to disagree. Can't do
(21:48):
that anymore. We're mortal enemies because we've been petted against
each other. Divide and conquer is the strategy. And you
know a house divided cannot stand. So what's driving it?
As I mentioned, we've got civics classes that have turned
into constant guilt trips. We binge rage out, were binge
(22:09):
watch out a binge watch outrage instead of neighborly news.
Because the good news just doesn't sell. If it bleeds,
it leads, right, That's why we try to bring you
good news each and every day. Maybe patriotic story, stories
that make you feel good, and I think those are
a part of the truth, even more so than what
you're being told. I don't know that the algorithm loves
(22:30):
that as much as they love all their rage bait.
The institution's government media, even a big box church is
some of these folks. You've seen them thrown away the
American flag for other kinds. The result a generation that
feels like the American dream comes with an asterisk and
(22:52):
a monthly interest fee, and no wonder they feel like
they do. But here's the good news, and yes there
always is. That's that's how I work. I want to
make sure that you understand the problem but also understand
that there are solutions. And this is how we take
(23:14):
our pride. This is how we take our patriotism. This
is how we take our country back. See pride, folks,
just like anything else. You know, the elite athlete that
I am, I understand this most it. Pride is a muscle.
It strengthens with us. If you want to fix this,
you don't wait for DC in the next Blue Ribbon Commission,
(23:35):
although they're going to have quite a bit of that
over this next year. And think God, President Trump was
elected by his grace, I don't think the celebrations two
hundred and fiftyeth celebrations would be on the scale of
the scope and the theme that they will be in
the coming year if President Trump had won. What we're
(23:58):
going to do, We've got four different things. Number one,
we need to resurrect the shared ritually. You got a
chance to do that this weekend. That means dragging your
kids out to the Fourth of July, pray, stand for
the anthem, and afterwards you have those conversations talk about
why fireworks still matter, why we do what we do.
(24:20):
There's a historic approach to it. It isn't about just
blowing stuff up because that's cool. It is cool, but
there's so much more that lies beneath the service. Number two,
this is big. You gotta serve somebody. We got to
step up as Americans. We got a volunteer. Go to
the VA coach little League, clean up mainstream, pick up
(24:44):
some trash. When you solve real problems face to face
with real Americans in America, stops feeling like some sort
of abstract hashtag. It's real and it doesn't matter what
the news tells you because you've experienced it in real
life for yourself. Number three, Tell the whole story. Yes,
(25:08):
teach slavery and Jim Crow, but also teach the miracle
of Philadelphia, the Suskegee Airman, Selma, the Apollo astronauts. Teach
that the Republicans freed the slaves. Yes, we're a flawed country,
but it's this flawed country and those brave men and
women of conservative faith driven values that push to abolish
(25:30):
the evil of slavery. It was Lincoln who did it.
They talk about June teenth, that's become a big holiday
now too. But they hide the truth of where it
came from and why it should be celebrated as a
patriotic holiday, not one where they change up the colors.
You ever noticed that the colors of Juneteenth the red, green, yellow,
(25:53):
and black. They should be red, white, and blue. We
got to have context to it all. Context isn't whitewash.
It's perspective and it's important. And number four, we got
to get together and champion a moonshot demand that there
erepts back national service, vocational tech pipelines, first, home zoning reforms.
(26:18):
They give young Americans a stake, not a lecture. Maybe
we help them understand why America is sel great. And
most importantly, the passage of this big beautiful bill. Cut
the red tape, cut the hurdles, the obstacles that's in
between these people in the American dream. Look, i'm gonna
tell you something. This poll is a siren. It's not
(26:40):
a death knill. We've been here before. You've seen it
in times like Watergate and Vietnam. Even after nine to eleven,
we had a unity spike that eventually faded. But each
time Americans have rebuilt pride the old fashioned way, we
roll up our sleeves. We tell the truth, and we
dare to bigger, bigger than the latest clickbait catastrophe or
(27:04):
what's showing up in your feed. The challenge is simple, today,
this Independence Day and hereafter. Don't just waive the flag,
earn it, Read the Declaration of Independence out loud at
your cookout, shake a veteran's hand, Actually listen. These are
(27:25):
easy things to do. That's simple, but they're also easy
not to do. Post a little story of American greatness
on your feed, then post again because they don't get
buried by all the other stuff that's out there. But
keep boasting. Is If we don't flex that pride muscle,
(27:47):
someone else will decide what it means to be American.
And trust me, their definition won't include liberty, an opportunity,
or your kid's future. And America is still the last
best hope right here on earth. Let's act like it,
(28:10):
all right. I want to tell you a way that
I think you can take part in fact, be a
part of that mission this weekend lead join our guests

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Here are your headlines from the Midwesterner this Wednesday, July second.
I'm Robin Poffman. We begin with a Midwesterner Dot News
original story. It's another Michigan EV battery deal gone bad.
Thanks to the Governor. Gretchen Whitmer had negotiated with the
company LG Energy Solution to build electric vehicle battery at
a new plant in Holland as part of a one
(29:02):
point four billion dollar expansion. It's now complete thanks to
hundreds of millions in the ice pair of subsidies, but
the plant will not be producing EV batteries as promised
because of low demand for electric cars. This fourth of
July weekend here in Michigan, people looking to hike through
some of the state's stunning trails are in for a
very negative awakening, as they learned sixty percent of the
(29:25):
road still damage from winter weather. This comes three months
after governor, which were promised to fix these areas extremely
hard hit by ice storms and as ice agents extremely
busy deporting criminal illegal aliens here in Michigan and in
other states. A report from the Department of Homeland Security
that assaults against the agents up by seven hundred percent
(29:49):
from last year. For these stories and more, visit the
Midwesterner at the Midwesterner dot news.

to do just that. In fact, our good friend pastor

of course off of Alpine there at four mile. This
is the Is this the fourth or fifth year for
this big Independence Day weekend event? Living in Freedom?

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Where did this come from? Because I was a part
of the first one and there's been no looking back.
I think it's important to remind folks where where we
came from and why you continue to do this.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Oh it's massive, and you know we're doing it as
our part, but it's important that all of us like
minded people engage. And here's why five years ago, don't
forget lancing someone in particular in Lancing, tried to shut
down the world, tried to shut down churches, and I
felt like, as even the senior pastor of a church,
(32:14):
I didn't have the right to close our doors. And
so we had a drive in church the first several weeks,
and then we opened up with two in person and
a drive in and it was in that season that
you begin to see who the real patriots were. We
get called a lot of names, I guess these days,
but Patriot is my favorite. And yes, that's when we
(32:35):
met you and we had you in for the first
drive into freedom, which became living in freedom and really
became a flex of the fact that our freedom does
not come from government, It does not come from Lancing,
it comes from God Almighty.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
You know, I ought to think about when I just
talked about this taking our country back and what it's
going to take to do that. You know, it's interesting,
Pastor Joe beavelocua with us right now in Nuchapel. I
remember this quote, and I know you're fond of it too.
I think it was Adams who mentions how we ought
(33:14):
to celebrate each and every year and the founding of
our country, and it talks about the importance of things
like fireworks and all the rest of it.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Yeah, I mean it talks about fireworks and bonfires and cookouts,
and right in that list, it talks about showing and
flexing our Second Amendment right with a gun.
Speaker 6 (33:35):
And so we at this event living in freedom. It's amazing.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
I mean, we have we have an amazing church service,
three of them, eight thirty, ten and eleven thirty. We
have Pastor Willie George, who was Gospel Bill back in
the day, if you remember, a wonderful man of God,
a general in the faith. And then afterwards we lit
out to the Freedom Carnival and that's going to be fabulous.
But part of that day is our raffles and and
(34:00):
we want to celebrate with what has been customary and
traditional and American heritage, and that is that we're raffling
off a shotgun this year, premium shotgun, and we're proud
of that. In fact, last year we got a little
bit of a hit story. It actually became some really
good press because Western Michigan, this is us.
Speaker 6 (34:19):
We are sportsmen.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
We are people who are like minded and share the
same values, and so we have giveaways for kids. We've
got bikes, and we've got different toy packs, we've got grills.
We're given away stuff for mom, but we're giving away
a shotgun. What's so funny is in previous years we've
had preschool teachers and moms end up winning that gun.
And you think, oh, man, why didn't the guys win it.
(34:42):
I'll tell you why, because the moms were the ones
putting in for it. The guys already they're already loaded,
and so they wanted the grill stuff.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
But yeah, it's pretty exciting and it's part of our
American heritage.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
It's what we need to be doing, and that's what
living and freedom is all about.
Speaker 6 (34:57):
As you well know.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
I can't wait to be a part it this weekend.
It's going to be a blast if folks want to
come out again. Lots of prises, carnival, free food, and
three fantastic church services. I think that's important again to
bring bring into the picture, as well as a faith,
a major part of this country. It's founding. It doesn't
happen without it. This great nation is founded in our
(35:19):
and it's woven into the fabrica who we are. But Newchapel,
a great place just spoke there a couple of weeks ago,
and there's a reason why every year I'm a part
of this event. We bring the family. But Pastor Joe
Beviloqua again tell us where folks need to go and
maybe how they can find out more about what's happening.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Well, if you want more information, go to Newchapel dot
com slash freedom on that site has all of the details.
Bring your family out for one of our three church
services eight thirty, ten, eleven thirty. That's where you're going
to get a little bracelet that is your axis. Everything's free,
so all the raffles are free. The Freedom Carnival we
(35:59):
have gone flatables, face painting, dunk tank and everything in between.
Speaker 6 (36:03):
There's a car show, free lunch on us.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Why are we doing all of this Because our freedom
comes from God and not government. And if we forget,
if we forget why we're doing this, why we need
to celebrate, why like minded people need to come together,
then we are doomed to repeat some of the awful
things that happen, chiefly in twenty twenty.
Speaker 6 (36:24):
But we're we're doomed to repeat that again in Michigan.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Don't let off the gas just because you know, as
our president says, you'll be so tired of winning. I
get it, but don't be so tired of winning that
you stop winning.
Speaker 6 (36:37):
We need to.
Speaker 3 (36:37):
Engage, get together like minded people, make a big deal
out of Jesus and then at the same time celebrate
our patriotism and our freedom big Living in Freedom is
all about that newchapel dot com slash Living and.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Freedom fantastic, Looking forward to that event, Pastor Jobevlockwatneuchapel dot
com slash freem It's this Sunday, the sixth, Living in Freedom.
Looking forward to seeing you there, Pastor. Always a privilege,
my friend. Thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (37:07):
We love you justin Western Michigan loves she talk.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Soon God bless thank you brother. Uh again. It's crucial.
It's critical. Bring the family, the kids. They got to
be exposed to this stuff. This is how we take
our country back, one little fun event at a time.
That's gonna do it for us. At GLI Back Programs.
Coming up next, we got a jam packed after show
with the news from RFK that I guarantee you haven't
(37:30):
heard Lester Holt or Anderson Cooper talk about. We'll get
into it coming up next, making a great one God,
bless
