Speaker 1 (00:00):
By from higher Top Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
We're talking about what matters most to you when West
Michigan joined the conversation. Now at six one six seven
seven four, twenty four twenty four. At six one six
seven seven four twenty four twenty four, it's West Michigan
Live with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
They got him, that's the least, according to the President
this morning on Fox and Friends, Kirk's killer caught the
suspect in custody. According to what Trump said earlier this
morning on Fox News, we're gonna have the latest. You'll
hear that. Uh. And it's a lot to press through here.
(00:44):
We haven't had an official word from a press conference
that we were expecting. Top buty, how we're here. They're
pushing that little closer to nine thirty. All the details
what we know now coming up in just moments, and
the stories you won't.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
Hear anywhere else you weather and traffic, I'm his stories
of the day. Who we're talking about what matters most
in West Michigan and beyond.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
This is the Big Three, yep, that's right now say
speak three Extreme powered by our good friends at Heartlandhall mortgage.
Dave Galloway and the team ready to help you with
see interest rates and mortgage rates dropping in factory. Wanted
to talk with Dave this week about it because we've
seen a couple of really big stories in the last
several days. In fact, you put that off till next week.
(01:31):
I believe any Monday or Wednesday, somewhere in there, we'll
have a conversation on where things are heading and what
you need to know for your money. Of course, if
you want to reach out today and get to Scoop
in person Hhmlynding dot com, reach out to Dave and
the team, they'd be more than happy to talk to you.
They walk you through it with a heart of a
teacher and everything that they do behind the scenes. What
(01:51):
do you want to buy refly home that Puddy line
of credit. They'll make sure that they take care of
you and you can save thousands each and every time
you work with him like I have and many other
folks who listened to this program. The President early this
morning on Fox and Friends.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Can I always say, I think just to protect us
all and so Fox doesn't get sued and we all
don't get sued and everything else, But I think with
a high degree of certainty we have him in custody.
In custody, everyone did a great job. We worked with
the local police, the governor, everybody did a great job,
(02:29):
you know, getting somebody that you start off with absolutely nothing,
and we started off with a clip that made him
look like an ant, that was almost useless. We just
saw there was somebody up there. And so much work
has been done over the last two and a half days.
You know, it's amazing actually when you start off with
that and then all of a sudden you get lucky
or talent or whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
But it was an announcer that came as he spent
oh gosh, a large amount of time on the show
this wanting to get fact. He he just came off
with him. Yes, the story continues to develop, and the
question of whether that guy the person to interest the
same person they have in custody, and the story behind
(03:13):
the story of how they got to him coming up
in just a minute. More from yesterday's developments as well
to President Trump, by the way, marking September eleventh and
the twenty fourth anniversary with a solemn speech at the Pentagon,
remembering those lusts on that faithful day. Then later the
Yankees game, the Yankees took all the Tigers at Yankee Stadium,
(03:35):
Tiger's falling nine to three, and what's been a fantastic
series for them. But I think one of the most
interesting things is watching President Trump with the crowd and
then watching some of the players relate back to him
as some Tigers players doing the Trump dance, which was
kind of interesting to see. Another Michigan plant closing not
(03:56):
good news, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer's watched Colds Quality of Foods,
a family run bread factory and Grand Wrap has been
around for eighty years, shutting its doors about one hundred
and fifty jobs on the line. Critics say Whimer has
had her eye off the ball, more focused on those
jets setting out of town, out of country trips in fact,
(04:17):
than she is right here back in her own home state.
Now she's trying to prepare you. I tried to climb
that ladder. Maybe take a stab at running than twenty eight.
We want to hear from you. It's a free for
all Friday. Give you a chance to do that. We
did get a chance to hear from some people yesterday,
(04:38):
and your phone calls, folks reaching out on the talkback
feature too. We'll be watching those this morning. The iHeartRadio app.
Just clicked the microphone next to the play button there.
It's powered by MKD Funeral Homes and ran rave sound off.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Call Justin now at six one six seven seven for
twenty four to twenty four. That's six one six seven
seven for twenty four to twenty four to Michigan Live
with Justin Barclay on news radio WOUOD thirteen hundred and
one six nine half as.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I's got to Kyle Allsodden this morning for the Midwestern
or the Midwestern or Dot News, joining us with the latest.
In reaction to the latest news this morning, President Trump
saying they think they got him, and the way they
got him, I thought was really interesting. Somebody turned him in.
I guess a family member that recognized the photos is
what he just said. We're still waiting that press conference.
(05:26):
It's supposed to happen a little bit later on this hour,
but Kyle, this is a pretty incredible news this morning.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
Yeah it is.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
President Trump was on Fox and Friends for the whole
hour of the whole eight o'clock hour, and he shared
some details. A few details, and basically what he was
saying was the father of the suspect basically turned him
in and there's some family connection to a US a
US Marshall, so they got involved, and you know, it
(05:55):
appears that he was taken into custody without incident. But yes,
as you said, there's that press conference at nine thirty,
so that's coming up soon.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Well, the latest on that this morning, as it's as
it's taking place. This has been a very tough week
on a number of levels, Kyle. First, we had the
footage that was released and the whole back and forth
really about Arena, the young lady that was killed on
(06:27):
that train in North Carolina back a few weeks in
August by this deranged man. The video footage came out
essentially over the weekend and social media exploded. Mainstream media
did not. They sat on it until Monday, I guess
when everything had just gotten to a point where it
(06:49):
was just too much and they had to come out
with it. Then we heard back and forth at my
headline on Monday was why are they silent on this?
It's incredible? What a story that was tough enough to
watch in itself, and the story to hear about this
young lady had come from Ukraine to escape the war
torn area of the atrocities that she was undergoing there,
and then ultimately found the untimely demise right here which
(07:12):
she thought she would be safe on that subway, and
again at the hands of violence due the Democrats and
the left. And then we're hit with Charlie Kirk. This
has been a week that has been I can't even
describe the toughness, the nature of it, how hard it's been.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
Yeah, I think over the last I don't know many years,
there has been this cheapening of life where people think
that the they it's appropriate to resort to violence when
there are words that you don't like, when there's opinions
that you don't like, when there's people that you don't like.
That's that's how you that's how you react. And and
(07:56):
it's as President Trump said, you know, this is become
a very dangerous business. And here Charlie Kirk was on
a college campus. There were you know, two thousand people there,
and he's done this countless times, and he's engaging in debate,
I mean, the very essence of the First Amendment, and
(08:17):
and he is you know, struck down and it's it's
a it's a I think it's a very perilous time
because what we're seeing on the left is there is this,
there is this mentality that words are violence and you
respect and therefore you are able to respond to words
with physical violence. There this, this is a very real
(08:41):
opinion on the left, and when when more people are
believing that, that's when things get very, very dangerous.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
I've got just a reaction to and your response to this,
because the Midwesterners covered it at length, but there have
been a lot of people to lose their jobs and
the last day or so because of the reaction and
their callous reaction to it, the comments and whatnot. And
in Michigan we've got no shortage and that includes lawmakers.
Speaker 6 (09:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
We we have published a couple of stories. There's a
University of Michigan professor who said, you know, terrible things,
defended the assassination. There's a teacher in Flint who you know,
just said terrible things. There's a former prosecutor from Ingham County.
The list goes on. And we're we're doing a follow
(09:35):
up on the U of M story because they finally
got back to me with this BS you know response about, oh,
we don't, you know, we don't take positions on those
sorts of things that don't have you have to do
with the university, and you know, and professors and you know,
employees are allowed to allowed to engage in debate. And
(09:55):
I so I responded and said, is Charles Davis still
employed by the University of Michigan and they're refusing to
answer that question. Well, that is the answer to the question, right,
And so the University of Michigan is tolerating these sorts
of opinions, tolerating this sort of attitude, and and don't
(10:17):
forget this is what Michigan tax payers are paying for.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
You know.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
One of the things I've been thinking about a lot
lately is you and I have talked a lot about
corporate welfare and just money, you know, being flushed down
the toilet to companies. Well, there's also academic welfare, and
there's people who are are employed by universities, by academic
(10:41):
institutions that are a waste of space. And it's just, oh,
it's a waste of our money, and we shouldn't be
paying for it anymore.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Hey, I got to ask you, we're going to be
talking about I'm sure a lot of these things on
the on the island Macinna Island. I GOP has a
a big event coming up in the next week or so.
We're going to be doing a panel you me, Tom
Jordan and Tutor Dixon is going to be a leading
the conversation and I'm looking forward to this. But one
(11:11):
of the things I'm sure that many of us will
be discussing, obviously, is twenty twenty six and the election
here in Michigan. And we've been talking at length and
we're going to get even i think, even more serious
about it to talk about where things are headed. But
the good natorial races is going to be right in
the front and center in the spotlight. There's a voice
(11:33):
that's that's noticeably silent from the conversation about Charlie Kirk.
Where's Mayor Mike doug and the Independent, the guy that
says he wants to unify people? Where are in a
very that's a very divisive question.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
Yeah, that's a very good question, and yes, if so
the short answers, I don't know, but he has been quiet,
and it's you know, there was a I saw a
statement the other day from Gretchen Whitmer in twenty twenty
two where she was, you know, attacking Charlie Kirk, you know,
(12:08):
basically because he's pro life. And yet then she puts
out a statement you know about political violence and whatever else.
And but yes, Dougan's been silent, and who knows why.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
I think we can figure that out. This is the
man that again has been telling us that he's all
about the uniting us. He's an independent, wants to bring
people together. Silence, Silence in this case speaks volumes always
a pleasure, my friend from the Midwestern the Midwestern or News,
Kyle Olsen, don't just by the way, brand new websites gorgeous,
(12:42):
don't just bookmarket. Certainly do that, but make sure you
sign up to get the updates from them as well. Kyle,
looking forward to our conversation next week, my friend, So
thank you, you got it. God bless back folks. In moments,
we're going to give you a chance to jump on
the phone as well. As I mentioned, it's a free
for all. Friday, rant Rave asked a question the conversation
(13:02):
fact I got some more details that came out yesterday
during the show. We'll make sure we recap you and
tell you everything we knew about that investigation into Charlie
Kirk and the capture of the killer. In fact, that
press conference we are wedding now from the FBI. More
on the way, hang.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Up your news from a trusted source. It's West Michigan
Live with Justin Barklay on News Radio one thirteen hundred
and one oh six nine. A f am.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Back after it and you could join the program at
any time. Six one, six seven, seven twenty four the
number to know and you get in plus. Uh, we're
gonna be hitting folks on the talkback feature this morning
as well. A couple of things I wanted to make
sure that you knew so far. We're waiting a press
conference the FBI. They was said they were supposed to
do this around nine, but now they've kind of put
it off till the bottom of the hour.
Speaker 6 (13:52):
Here.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
As soon as that happens, we're gonna bring it to
you live. Uh, and we may even break in. Hey,
let James know, like, if that press off it starts rolling,
we may just take that live and stick with it,
So just let him know that's a possibility. We want
to make sure that we get this on the air,
and if he's in the news. We'll go ahead and
make sure that we bring that through. I don't know
(14:13):
what time, if they'll be specifically at nine thirty or
what they do have a person of interest or a
suspect that's in custody. President Trump announced it this morning
on Fox and Friends. He made that announcement earlier, as
he spent the hour from the eight to nine o'clock
hour on that program today. So we have that that
story that is, we're still waiting for the latest confirmation.
(14:36):
He said there was a family member I believe the
father of the suspect that recognized his son and in
these pictures that were floating around, they and they put
that out. The other pieces that we know yesterday we
got on the air. The weapon was an older model
Bolt action Mauser thirty odd six wrapped in a towel,
left somewhere in a neighborhood. I guess that's where he
(14:57):
made his escape. Three unspent rounds. In the met magazine,
they say this is according to the reports, all reportedly
bearing engravings that were inscribed with references to transgenders and
anti fascist ideology, anti fascist ideology. And I've got more.
(15:19):
We're going to try and bring you some of that
coming up in just a little bit. But first, a
big event happening this week this weekend and the latest
we may have to break in, but Curtis is on their. Curtis,
I appreciate you have a big event happening this weekend
you wanted folks to know about.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Yes, can you hear me?
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Okay, loud and clear?
Speaker 5 (15:40):
All right, thank you for let me get on the.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Air real quick. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (15:44):
We have a very important event this Sunday in Elegant
at New.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
Hope Baptist Church.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
It's from three.
Speaker 7 (15:51):
O'clock to seven pm and the theme is a conversation
about where we stand in Michigan. We have bradly been that,
so coming here Fanny Mantavadi check my vote. He has
the latest news as regarding our elections, so he's willing
to do a Q and A as well. And we
(16:13):
have another speaker coming from Detroit, and we're also going
to have awesome Craiks on there, and we're gonna have
a tribute for Charlie Kirk.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
This is what's the website? By the way, is there
a website or play somebody can look this up.
Speaker 5 (16:33):
I guess I could post it on my Facebook page
to go to Curtis Clark.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
We don't have a website for We're just trying to
get the word.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Out right now, give me that link and I'll make
sure that it gets up. I'll put it up in
the stack today too.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Okay, all right, thank you, you got it.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Curtis again, one more time. Where is the event and
when is it?
Speaker 7 (16:57):
Okay, it's this Sunday from three to seven that New
Home Baptist Church and elegant Hey addresses two's duo one
one Lincoln.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Road and free events north.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Of M forty like.
Speaker 7 (17:10):
You're going toward Holland.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Free event for folks as well.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Right, yep, there you go.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
All right, Curtis, thank you, appreciate the latest and wish
we have more time today. But it has been one
of those weeks man, And uh wow, thank you my friend.
Never never a dull moment, as they say. And in
some days you wish your web boy, I tell you,
I just wish there would be uh quick break. We'll
come back and tell you about what Vice President Jamie
Vance did yesterday. Just an incredible act along with Charlie Kirk,
(17:39):
his family, his wife and Moore. Don't miss the latest
and that press conference. As soon as we get word,
we'll bring it to you back after this. Hang on,
back on, Yeah, back on the air here, folks. Lots
of moving parts today and we're just talking off the
air about this conversation. We'll try and jump back into
it for the folks watching them behind the scenes live stream.
(18:01):
And I want to make sure just in case we're
waiting that press conference the FBI, they may break in
at some point give us the latest on the suspect
that's been caught in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Tom Antwer,
former Kent County Commissioner, joining us right now, and the
group that he runs finished the mission has for years
gone out and spotlight some of the folks who really
(18:24):
gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense the course of this country,
in our freedom, and they really have a unique way
of honoring those folks who fall in the family members.
But also Tom, as you just mentioned, welcome back on. Well,
as you just mentioned, you're doing this now more than ever,
really to make sure you're making an impact on kids.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
Well, it's not kids, because let's face it, nobody that's
in high school or in college. They weren't alive during
nine to eleven, so and I don't think they're being
taught what happened on nine to eleven and a lot
of schools, so it's an opportunity for us to educate
students and them know about the cost of freedom. And
so that's why that's our mission now and our toured
(19:05):
mission is never forget. So for all the parents that
we've honored the past, we're going to be showing their
portraits of their sons on the screen as part of
our mission to never forget. But when we unveil this
portrait of Stephen, it's going to be one of the
most emotional moments we've had in our eleven year history
because of the background, in the backdrop of this, this
(19:25):
whole conversation.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
But tell me again, that's a good good point to
ask here, tell me again who you're honoring, because I
don't think people on the on the air got to
hear this yet.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Yeah, his name was Sergeant Stephen Ganchewski. He was a
ranger and he was just one of those kids, you know,
he's all all American hero, great looking guy. He just
he said, we can't allow the fight to take place
in the United States. This is junior in high school.
He said, we need to keep the fight over there,
and he joined He's a hero. That's what heroes do.
(19:57):
That's that's the definition of a hero. He was taken
tragically in action, and he left behind a wife and
a daughter and who will never get over what happened.
And we're honoring her today, letting her know we're not
going to forget in. This portrait that we had especially
commissioned is absolutely stunning. We're asking people to come to
(20:18):
the ceremony at five thirty sharp. It's going to start
right at five thirty. Get there early. We're gonna have
hot dogs and stuff for people free of charge. Come
on out, honor this family. I know a lot of
people are grieving this week as I am. I feel
a lot like I did on nine eleven. And there's
no comparison of the two, but that's kind of the
way affected me when I heard about Charlie Kirk. And
(20:40):
and it's an opportunity for people to gather and say
thank you to people like Charlie Kirk who served their
country and we're heroes and we're taken from us. If
we can't honor them, then you know, we're pretty much
worthless as a society if you know, we have to
do this. We have to remember these young men and
(21:02):
women that fought and died. And this is a perfect
example of what we're doing today. It's gonna be a
Sparta High school. The ceremony starts at five thirty sharp.
If you get there a quarter after four or so,
we'll have hot dogs going and grab it by beat.
Follow the bagpipers into the building and watch one of
the most incredible ceremonies you're ever going to see. It
will change your life.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Five point thirty spart Of High school today for patriots,
you know, don't just talk to talk walk the walk.
We got to get out there and come together and
make sure what we support those folks. You know, I'm
just ask you that because there's been recent years, I
think a resurgence among the youth who start to get
it and I don't know, maybe the pendulum just swinging
back around, but it's folks like you all have finished
(21:43):
the mission that are out there that are trying to
shine a light on that sacrifice and what it means
to be a patriot and to love and honor this country.
And of course the folks who fought and really gave
the ultimate sacrifice for it.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
But Charlie Kirk too, I think I can break down
all walls, you know, I mean, whether we're willing for
them to be broken down or not. And he's going
to expose himself to everybody. It says so in the Bible.
I mean, he will make it clear who he is.
And I think people have got to the point where
it's gotten so ridiculous what we're doing, some of the
stuff taking place at state colleges and stuff. Anybody with
(22:19):
any common sense can understand this is not right.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
How about this story that came out we got the
Midwestern or today you and Professor defending Charlie Kirk assassination.
Violence is a solution, he says, the violent rhetoric spewed
by empowered people Charles HF. Davis the third and employed
with our tax money.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
Of course, when you can't beat someone on the debate stage,
you beat little and you do all kinds of cruel
things to him. Charlie Kirk, I love the man. I
watched them all the time. I watched him debate Bill
Maher and it was civil, it was he just he
crushed Bill Maher with a smile on his face. He's
never raised his voice. He did you. He was a constitutionalist,
(23:01):
he was a Christian. He's being punished for that. He was.
He never raised his voice. He was He was a
brilliant young man who knew facts. He didn't use rhetoric
that was untrue, and and you know, just it was.
It was amazing watching him. And he was definitely a target.
He was a threat to the left, and they took
(23:23):
him out just like they tried to take out President Trump.
I mean, yeah, the last time you heard about those assassinations.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
We've got more breaking those here. Let me let me
get to this quickly. If I can't, Tom, just one
moment here and I'll bring it back on it. We
can recap before they start the the FBI press conference,
I think now being announced and reported on multiple outlets
that they have identified Charlie Kirk's assassin as a twenty
(23:51):
two year old Tyler Robinson of Utah. According to my
producer here Adam, he's got the got the image on AX.
It's being passed around as well. He's currently in custody.
This is believed to be the individual that President Trump
spoke about. This morning on the Fox and Friends broadcast
on Fox News. Uh, and you can see a picture
(24:14):
that appears to maybe be that they posted online in
his dorm room. And I think that if you look
at the look at the two photos, the person of
interest photos FBI was was passing around in the photo
of this individual, I think you'll see a lot of resemblance.
But there's more to the story, and we're going to
(24:34):
bring you all of those, all of those pieces, all
of the story. There's even video now, uh that shows
man running on a roof and things like that. This
is this is a story we're going to continue to
get information and details on. In fact, we're waiting on
the FBI. Were waiting on the FBI press conference. Somebody
has also posted the picture of Tyler, this person of
(24:56):
interest photo with these these chuck tail there's these converse shoes,
the same shoes. Is the photo that person of interest
he was wearing in the dorm room showing those lining up,
which is kind of interesting. Again, waiting on the FBI
press conference here, but if this is true, Tommy, just
makes your mission, it finished the mission even more critical
(25:17):
because this is a twenty two year old This is
the same type of individual that Charlie was trying to
impact and make a difference on to to show them that, look,
this is a great nation and we need to honor
these folks and of course to understand what makes the
country great. And they've been beat over the head with educating. Well,
i'll call it what it is in doctrination.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
It's conductation. And that's absolutely true. And he's going to
have his day in court if he's sound guilty. You know,
we have there's I don't know if you saw the
story about the prison in El Salvador where they send
all the gang members who part of their initiation is
to kill family members. Yeah, it's it's the most heinous
prison in the world. And I don't want this the
(25:58):
guy to get a lethal and y I would like
to see him live out the rest of his life
in El Salvador. I love for Congress to pass the
law something like this because I don't want him to
get a free pass for what he did to this country.
He needs to suffer. And I'll say that on a
bash because this has got to stop. And unless we
start punishing people for their actions instead of rewarding them
(26:20):
and cheering them on we're going to keep getting the
same bad behavior, and it pisses me off that our
country has fallen this far where this is acceptable to people,
and this is you know a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
I don't think it is, Honestly, I don't think it is,
except I think the outrage we're seeing from this right
now has given me some hope because there's lots of
people there are There are a few, I mean, obviously
there's a few loose crews out there, but I think
the most most folks, In fact, I think this is
going to draw people closer to the Lord. I think
it'll draw people closer to truth, logic and common sense
(26:53):
in it, in it and it really.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Ought to I agree with that. I agree with that.
But there is a faction of people, that agerous ones
that are going to use this as a rallying point too.
They're they're they're.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Gonna look and we ought to hold them accountable too.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Yeah, we took one guy Outlets again, go back to
President Trump two assassination attempts at a matter of months.
Whatever happened to that investigation? How how was that possible
that had even happen? There's so many unanswered questions and uh,
you know, could we get to the bottom of that.
We're going to see more of this and justin you
do such a good job stand on top of this.
(27:28):
We need a voice like you, and there's fewer and
few of them. So I appreciate your efforts and especially
talking about our Freedom crewise and our recipients this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Gritter over down here on the VIP of Freedom Famin
the chances if you've never met Tom Antor, please put
your meeting him on your bucket list. That's an endorsement.
How about that?
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Well, yeah, I mean I've made a few friends over
the years via County Commissioner because I think people understood
I stood on their side. I was not established person.
That's part the reason I'm no longer there. But yeah,
it's uh, there's a lot of really good people at
West Michigan, and I think I recognize that name is Ritter. Yeah,
oh yeah, he's one of many just just great people.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Understand, Tom, we got to get you off off here
before we get you in any more deep trouble we
got Terry said, maybe Tom should be running for governor.
Speaker 4 (28:19):

care of my kids and my grandkids for the rest
of my life. But hopefully we've got people filling the gap.

doing what you're doing. It's been good seeing you for
a couple of days now, and yeah, I can't wait
until we get together again for lunch finish.

is happening at Sparta High School. Again. You said, what's
five thirty today?
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Yeah, starts at five thirty, but playing on getting there
at twenty after because we once we start, this is
a military type evun that protocol, so we want people
in their seats glued in and they're going to see
something like they've never seen before and they're going to
walk out of there a different person.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
By the way, on time is late if it's a
military protocol. On time.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Absolutely, Yeah, we tried our best, and you know we're
doing students and lots of stuff going on. We want
to start at five point thirty and there's a little
clip that we're going to show prior to the opening

Feet Store. I don't know if you saw over the
last couple of twenty four hours or so, but Vice
President Jenny Vance escorting the casket of Charlie Kirkcombe with
his family aboard Air Force two to Arizona. Another poignant moment.
President Trump also announcing, and we've yet to get to
(32:49):
this yet today. We did yesterday during the After Show
that he posthumously award Charlie kirk with the Presidential Medal
of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. Trump praising because
a fearless defender of faith and freedom, and speaking of
faith on a weekend when you know we could probably
use we got it, we could use a little bit
more faith and some encouragement. I don't know how quickly
(33:14):
we're going to get in fact amber the latest on
the press conference here, but I just wanted to give
you a moment to talk about what you all are
up to this weekend. It's a fantastic events.

Yes, so West Michigan Praise Festival. It starts tomorrow at
eleven am. We're setting up the tents now. It's going
to be at Fremont Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Fremont, Michigan.
We're expecting a full day. We have eight different worship
teams coming. We have testimonials weaved in between. We've got
(33:54):
a prayer tent, a baptism tank, so if you want
to be baptized, you can come on by. We have
a youth tent. Our youth are going to be helping
the elderly, supporting people in the crowd, pointing them in
the right direction, handing out water, things like that. We've
got a craft bear going on. So there's gonna be
a lot of vendors here and we also have some
(34:16):
food trucks coming. So it's just going to be an
amazing day for the family to come out and just
praise the Lord.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
It's a West Michigan Praise Festival. Ignite the Fire, that's
what the flyer says. We've got to post it up
right now. We'll make sure we get this in the
stack as well. This is happening tomorrow and if folks
want to get in eleven to eight and again, I
don't you know, it's just been such a tough week
for a lot of us. Amber to watch this. This
might just be exactly what the doctor or the Good
(34:44):
Lord ordered as far as the medicine for your soul.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
This weekend, a man justin the reason that we're doing
this is to bring our community together. We want to
unite these churches. We want to bring the loss to
know the Lord and bring hope our community. So, you know,
especially after what happened this week, you know, it's it's
sad what's going on in our country, and it's time
that people turn to the Lord and and start praying
(35:12):
because we can turn this around.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Well, I tell you that's one of the things to the.
Speaker 6 (35:19):
Family.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Absolutely, that's one of the things. Somebody asked me after
this happened the other days, where do we go from here?
And I said, well, there's only one place I know
to go, and that's to my knees. And as a nation,
I think we all we all ought to do that.
That's where we find the real comfort in times like this. Amber.
It's obviously it's obviously, like I said, it's a tough time,
(35:46):
but I think at times like this, it's just we're
gonna we continue to see more of these. It's in
the Bible says you'll see trials and tribulations, but consider
it pure joy. Look we we we we have the answer,
we have the salution. And and I think that's why
I enjoy shining the spotlight on the good things that
are happening again West Michigan Praise fessal tell Us again Saturday,
(36:09):

Speaker 2 (36:46):
God bless What a fantastic event, great way to take
the family out and into the Captain week off. What
a wild, wild week it's been, all right, folks, we
told you the FBI was expected to come. I guess
we were hoping it was going to be tom of
the hour. Then they said, now I'm going to lay
at nine point thirty, and we've got an even bigger delay.
(37:06):
Now I've seen a couple of people sort of roaming
around there with the microphone adjusting it, touching at different people,
but nothing yet that's been been solidified here. So I
don't have anything to report to you other than what
we can tell you is we know the suspect's name.
Now they are reporting twenty two year Tyler Robinson from Utah.
(37:29):
President Trump earlier this morning on Fox News Fox and
Frinch said that he was turned in by apparently his
