Speaker 1 (00:00):
Buy from higher Top Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
We're talking about what matters most to you when West
Michigan joined the conversation. Now at six one six seven
seven four, twenty four twenty four. At six one six
seven seven four twenty four twenty four, it's West Michigan
Live with Justin Barclay on Wood Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Love them in, folks, kinds a big dead Trump on
the hill talking about that mad beautiful bell. And in
fact he's talking right now. Let's get into some of
the coverage happening right now as we speak in the
Capitol Building.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You have to be a guy like him.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Well, you throw three in their first presides.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
He praise he's a man of God, and so am I.
But he's really into a new level. Kay. I'll tell
you he is a great guy. They love him in
Louisiana and they love him. And that's the only kind
of guy. Somebody said, oh well, we want somebody to
if you put a certain personality in there, you would have.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Never looked at the look at what he got past,
what he's gotten passed. And just so you understand, he's
gotten this past too. And I don't think there's anybody
I could give you guys that are.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
So tough, you guys would run if you able to
look at him.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
If you ever saw some of these guys, you would
not ask him questions.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
You'd be afraid of.

Speaker 6 (01:14):
This guy did something that I don't think there's anybody
that's more well.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Suited to be Speaker of the House, especially in a
case like this. Remember we had a majority of one
for six.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
Months and that was a very frightening thing because the
Democrats have really hurt our country and we are going
to go into very much So remember what I said,
the auto peck.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
This government was illegally run for four years. Thank you
very much, everybody. You're charging Member of Congress, Harry.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I'm sure we would get comments, but I know you
got you just you just hearted top of the show
there news whether and trial, to see if we can
grab exactly what he's sawing.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Who we're talking about, what matters most in West Michigan
and beyond. He's the big three speak.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Three stapping to look up and there he was the
President speaking. He is in the hallway, by the way.
I know they had cameras there set to catch him.
He's walk but I don't think they were planning on
an actual stop there in a hit because it was
very poorly lit. But coming up in the program, if
we get a replay of those comments a refeed, we'll

(02:26):
make sure we get them to You. Are Big Three,
powered by our good friends at Heartlett Home Mortgage, Dave
Gataway and the team looking to help you. Whether you
want to buy refi home equity, lineup credit, Dave, the
team can help you. They've helped us do all three
and they have saved helped us save thousands. Hang on,
is this a damn thousand new ice ages?

Speaker 7 (02:49):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I just check it in. That's just it's just to read.
They're showing the video again, not actually the audio, but
that's part of it. President Trump is on the hill
today for the one Big Beautiful bill. He's rallying folks
around it. There over a thousand pages. What can actually
be found inside? We'll get to some of it, the good,

(03:11):
the bad, the ugly. The folks in the Whitehouse on
the phone with us a little bit later on as well.
But there's something that's really fired some people up. It's
the Maga Baby savings account. All right, have you have
you heard about this? It's kind of interesting, and there's
somebody that has a couple of babies, or to myself,
I like colle kind of like that idea. What's what's

(03:33):
in the MAGA baby savings account? You asked, Well, I
think about it is.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
A MAGA baby savings account. Exactly how would that work?

Speaker 8 (03:42):
Who would be eligible for And I'm a stuming women
would be helpful for that. Yes, so were one of
the provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill. As I said,
this is a very pro family piece of legislation. Not
only does it increase the child tax credit, but it
also includes MAGA baby savings accounts for children that are
born before January first, twenty twenty four, under eight years

(04:06):
old US citizens and have at least one parent with
a valid Social Security number, and when this tax provision
becomes law, the child, if the parents seek to do this,
will be set up with a savings account. Essentially, it's
a four oh one K for a newborn baby and
child's relatives. Their parents can contribute up to five thousand

(04:28):
dollars per year of after tax dollars annually to that account,
and then later in the baby's life at age twenty five,
savings account holders can withdraw up to the full balance
of the account. Upon reaching thirty the account holders can
access the full balance of the account.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
For any purpose desired.

Speaker 8 (04:46):
So it's a great initiative for new parents, new mothers
who want to set up this savings account for their children.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yea Magia baby savings account. It's just part of it.
As a drublock of the Halls of Hill right now,
we'll have more of that happening as it develops today.
But next two espessially Attorney General than A. Nssel says
she brought the law her fellow Democrats, Secretary of State

(05:13):
Jocelyn Benson. So what's the penalty for breaking the law?
That's campaign finance laws. It she's supposed to be very
aware of because she's a secretary of state. You're in Michigan.
Oh there is not, apparently her office a slap on
the wrist, and Nassel basically admitting that she violent love,

(05:36):
by the way, the most lawless secretary of state in
the history of this that she's been told numerous times
by judges, you can't do that, and yet she continues,
and she's the one who wants to run for governor
this time around as a Democrat. Oh, and she'll oversee
her own election, just like Katie Hobbs down in Arizona. Sure,

(05:57):
there's nothing to see here, That's ye, that's fine. Now
I'll get all upset, all bent out of shape about that.
I'm sure everything I'll just work out perfectly. Well, there
was there was charges at least, and people are wondering,
what are the arrests coming. Well, here's one that may

(06:18):
come soon. The Democrat Congresswoman La Monica mcguiver charged with
assault after that. I called it insurrection. The Associated press
are calling it a skirmish, a kerfluffle, a dust up.
I've heard a number of different words used, but I
will tell you this, I think it was an insurrection

(06:41):
based on everything that I've seen take place there that
day where she assaulted a police officer. She was charged
for that. By the way, no one is above the law.
The charging documents have been released now. And of course
that acting you, this attorney would be none other than

(07:01):
Alina Habbas She uh, she part of that that action
there in New Jersey. Remember those those numbers. And if
she is bumping and pushing into ice agents and police
federal authorities there, I say good. And by the way,
we ought to see more of this in the days ahead, folks.

(07:23):
I've said it before, I'll say it again and another
there's some of you that are and I'd like to
see more and more of it. I'd say, just keep
your powder dry. We have officially injured the find out
portion of the program. Been polling around for far too

(07:46):
long now, and it's time we find out.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
I'll call Justin now at six one, six seven seven
four twenty four at six one, six seven seven twenty
four twenty four, West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on
News Radio would thirteen hundred and one oh six nine
a f M.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
President Trump speaking again. Now, it sounds like is this
another one? Here he is, he's made another stop inside
the Capitol.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Let's get to that yesterday that they're building. It's there's
a revolution going on, a positive one in our country,
and I love it. As we're we're doing really well.
As we all.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Put the negotiations to residents.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
We want the negotiations to people. Find out what's your
negotiation over this build? Oh yeah, well it's gonna be.
We're gonna be putting it at soon, and I think
we're gonna have great support we are. We're gonna make
a couple of tweaks.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
I mean, we don't want to benefit Democrat governors, although
I would do that and it made it better, but
they don't know what they're doing.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Want We don't want to. We don't want to. We
don't want to do any damage to a state.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
We want to help all the states, but we have
governors that are from the Democratic Party.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Let's say New York at the New Big Ones, and
let's say Gaven news Coombe, who's in a horrible job
in California. You know, we want to benefit the company.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
We want to benefit Republicans because they are the ones
that are going to.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Make America great again. The Democrats are destroying our country
and you see that with a.

Speaker 9 (09:12):
Passing administration with an open borders policy that allowed him
twenty one million people into our country and many of
those people are stone called murderous killers and trouble.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, there's no past.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
What do you think you want to I'm a fiscal hall, biker,
fiscal hal There's nobody like me, as more definiti than
bidd and this is the bill because we have to
fix the country.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
You think that Thomas Nazi is correctly saying that this
is no. I don't think Thomas Messy understands government. I
think he is a grand standard frantically. He'll probably but
we don't even talk to him much. I think he
should be voted out of office. And I just don't
think he understands the government. If you ask him a
couple of questions, he never gives you an answer. You
just I'm a note. He thinks he's going to get publicity,

(10:03):
and you have that, you have that. They've got some too.
Go ahead. Here's what I'm on Medicaid. We're not touching anything.
All I want is one thing three years.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
We don't want any waste fraud or abuse, very simple
waste fraud abuse.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Other than that, we're leaving it Medicare, We're leaving it.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
All we're after and this is for the good of it.
There's a lot of waste fraud interviews. That's all we're doing.
We're not touching it. The Democrats are going to destroy it.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Thank you's walking away, and.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
He was.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Waste fraud interviews. That's all the cuts we do.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Thank you here is walking away now. He was flanked
at the time by speaking of the House Mike Johnson
and there's somebody else there too, but I couldn't quite
make that up. So they've they got a vote coming.
Republicans will make America great again, is what President Trump
just said just moments ago Capitol Hill. He's on the

(11:13):
hill there rallying for that big, beautiful bill. And by
the way, we're gonna bring a tea anything that pops
like that this morning as he's up there. Plus we're
gonna hear from the White House, don't go anywhere. We're
just getting the party started. It is a tech Talk
Tuesday two. Trey Kibby joins us, and yes, he's gonna

(11:41):
weigh in on all kinds of great stories. So in fact,
there's there's one that really on a I think it
ought to get more to it just hasn't really gotten
the light shone on it. That needs to kill switches.
Chinese kill switches from China discovered inside Chinese made solar
power inverters here in the United States. In fact, some

(12:05):
here right in the great State of Michigan, and uh,
China killsel tree. They could just shed the power off
and they kill a grid anytime they wanted. Well, this
is more of the stuff that Democrats. All of the
folks in Lanci Whitmer. The rest that they want to
line are state with We're gonna talk about that coming up.

(12:27):
You need to know on the way, don't go anywhere.
West Michigan Live. We're just getting.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Starting tackling the hot button issues with style. It's West
Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on News Radio one thirteen
hundred and one oh six nine a FM.

Speaker 10 (12:46):
Here are your headlines from the Midwestern or this Tuesday,
May twenty f I'm Robin Poffman. It's a Midwesterner dot
news original story. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel administers to
what amounts to be a slap on the wrist fellow
Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson for violating the Michigan
Campaign Finance Act. Her office acknowledges the violation but imposes

(13:10):
no penalty. It's another Midwesterner dot news original kill switches
found on Chinese made solar power inverters in the US,
sparking national security concerns at a time when Republicans are
looking to put an end to the Goshen plant.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Here in Michigan.

Speaker 10 (13:26):
The fear is the CCP Chinese Communist Party could manipulate
some of this equipment, and President Trump heading to Capitol
Hill today to make sure the Big Beautiful Bill gets funded.
Money from this bill also funds new equipment for the
FAA to update the entire system across the country. Decades
old technology has been resulting in outages at Newark, New Jersey,

(13:48):
and issues at other airports. For these stories and more,
visit the Midwesterner at the Midwesterner dot news.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Since it all Trump just speaking on Capitol Hill moments ago,
you just missed it. We're gonna try and get some
clips from what he had to say talking about the
Big Beautiful Bill now yesterday. We're gonna talk about.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
This in the.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
In the Tech Talk tuesdays. Say, but they signed a bill.
It's melanious. A matter of fact, he let her sign
it too. It's the Take It Down Act signed into law.
People believed that this thing wasn't a law already. Kind
of hard to believe anyway, but it wasn't. Take a
listen to what they said in the Rose Garden yesterday.
But I want to thank you, honey.

Speaker 11 (14:35):
You've done amazing that this was done. When you started
and I said it sounds like a tough one and
yet a very important one.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
And you got it done.

Speaker 11 (14:43):
So I congratulate you, and I congratulate ted Maria, everybody,
thank you very much, thank you, and we'll.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Sign the bill. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Fantastic. There they go signing. Of course, you know that
the takedown to what this covers is a lot of
the The best way to put this is the videos, photographs,
things like that that should never have made it online,
that don't deserve to be one. It shouldn't be online.

(15:12):
But a lot of times it's a revenge from former
relationships and things like that. Very inappropriate in themselves. But
oh so you imagine being a part of one of
these relationships where you've got no recourse and a lot
of it makes us a big, big step in the
right direction for these folks. Anyway that to want to
make sure that that happens, it is to take down Act.

(15:36):
That's what you Take it down. Take it down, as
everyone I'm saying it right. Take it Down bill requires
big tech platforms to delete revenge pornography within forty eight
hours and requires jail time for perpetrators. Many children around
the country have taken their lives due to this type
of sextortion scheme. We've had that recently in Michigan too.

(15:57):
It's absolute tragedy. A lot of your chair everything that
issue as the first lady, and they got it done well.
Not to be confused with what they're in the middle
of trying to get done this morning. The one big
beautiful Bill. We'll talk more about that coming up here
in a little bit as well. But I look, I know,
I know what's your I know what you're here for,

(16:19):
I know what you're thinking, and I know what your one.
When are we going to see accountability? Well, we've got
some good signs in a lot of different ways and
from a lot of different places. How about this piece
of good news, the head of CBS News stepping down
forced out amid tensions with Trump. Now, I know you

(16:42):
want to see people in you know, handcuffs and things
like that. I get it. Some of that, I think
you know, we will see sooner or later to find out.
Portion of the program is where we're in right now.
James coming the other day, great example of this guy
posting this eighty six forty seven on them, Well, nothing's
gonna happen. They have Well, I wouldn't be so sure,
as I just told you before the break, Lina Hobba

(17:04):
moving in on that congressman at the same time she
let one guy off the hook and then took this
congress woman to task. We'll see, we'll see what we
get here moving forward. I think I think we're gonna
get I really do. I think we're gonna get a
little bit of a glimpse, a little bit more of
what you'd like to see coming up in the days ahead.

(17:26):
So that that's just that's just part of the preview.
They had a CBS stepping down and of course you
know that the Trump's got that lawsuit sixty minutes and
all of that out there. CBS News Wendy McMahon president
stepping down, and they they really you gotta realize Trump's
got them right where he wants them because they are

(17:49):
the owner operated television station, CBS, owner operated state. See
these folks, you know, they have to answer to the FCC.
So that's that's why he's got him right where he
wants and they know it. He knows it. And by
the way, it's just a matter of time before he

(18:14):
puts the screws even harder. So we're gonna get to
that and more President Trump on the hill. Anything else
pops up will come breaking immediately, if not sooner, hang on,
check our news about on the hour here back after this.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
The great, big beautiful bill. It's a beauty has never
been a bill.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Like this one.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Ah yeah, we're gonna talk about that big beautiful bill
as President Trump is on the hill rallying around the
troops and the sport around the bill, that one big
beautiful bill. Will talk about what's any what's going on
the White House joining us coming up about nine forty five.
But first our good friend with the latest. You know,

(19:00):
there's lots to cover, never a dull moment and stories
that you're going to want to make sure you're up
to speed on. One big one and it has to
do in fact with technology, Solar particularly they're trying to
push on us here in Michigan and the CCP influence back.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Into the latest in tech and how it affects you
and your world. This is Tech Talk Tuesday on Wood
Radios West Michigan Live.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
Now.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Welcome in our good friend Trent Kenby with us today
as always, talk about this jury as affordable lifestore like
mister drive and stand down Grand River Tech as always
just mentioned off the air, by the way, and worth mentioning.
I want to make sure we get it in there.
The Big AI Summit, so to speak, the brave new
world of super intelligent computers artificial intelligence happening at the

(19:50):
Ottawa County Patriots Meeting next Tuesday. Trent will be there,
I'll be there. I've got another front will join us
and a few other folks that you'll know and love
as well recognize as we get into these conversations. Very
important for Patriots to understand these subjects. That's why in
folks of faith too, that's why we cover them so
often on this program and with Tech Tuesday. But we're

(20:11):
going to get into all of it at Howard Miller
Community Center that's happening in Zealand next Tuesday, six to
eight thirty. I know you're looking forward to this too, Jacko.

Speaker 7 (20:23):
Morning justin look forward to seeing you there and hopefully
we get a big turnout. A lot of people are
interested in AI and it's a great way to sit
down and talk about it. There'll be a time for
people to ask questions, their own questions and we'll answer
them live for them.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, that's the thing. You know, you hear this show
and you may think, what does that mean? Well, you'll
be able to ask each of us, and particularly Trent
and some of the other folks up close and personal
as we get into it. Speaking of getting into it,
this is probably to me the latest the biggest story
of the week when it comes to this tech issue
of some of the infrastructure that we've gotten from China. China.

(21:02):
You know, we we we got it. It's it's in everything,
it's everywhere, and now we're finding out it's in the
solar panels China sold to the West from China. Instant
kill switches is what they call them. Trent, what are
they and why should we be concerned?

Speaker 7 (21:19):
Yeah, justin this part of the story is new, and
part of the story is very old for probably fifteen
plus years already. Devices that we get from China, security cameras,
you know, phones in your in your office, an IP
based phone, a network phone in your in your business,
these home little you know, cameras that people get online.
All these different devices, you know, vacuums. I mean, it's endless.

(21:41):
The devices come out of China. Uh, many of them
have this the software and the ability to phone home.
What that means is they have the ability to reach
out to Chinese servers to do various things. And they
might be advertised just to synchronize a time clock with
some server in China. We all know that more in
a fair various things happen. So that is an old

(22:02):
story and that's something that a business should protect their
network with a firewall. If they don't, they are already
have been vulnerable and yeah, for many years. The new
part of this story is that there's devices that they're selling,
specifically inverters that run the solar grid. They have a

(22:24):
separate communication module like a cellar chip in there. So
a traditional firewall with this device is plugged into the
network wouldn't necessarily stop that threat. So they have a
separate celler chip that could be used with the cellar
grid to do something, whether that's turned the device off
or al to the power levels, burn some equipment up.
That is the new part of this story, and that

(22:47):
is very scary because if this is a hidden chip
that's really tiny, really hard to even detect physically, and
some equipment and it can't be easily blocked through the
primary network. How it's connected to the network, that is
a really scary vulnerability.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Is it possible, Trent, that they've got these chips or
things like that in more than just these solar panels,
like for instance, other technology that we.

Speaker 7 (23:12):
Have justin absolutely, it's possible. Right, So, if they want
to do something nefarious and if they're not bound by
any ethics or rules, these chips are so tiny that
they can put them in an existing circuit board. They
have all the power that the circuit board, they have
all the infrastructure they need to do that. So, yes,
this certainly can be done. Where this has been exploited.

(23:34):
I don't know it can be physically detected. It's not
like it's microscopic and can't be found. But who's busting
apart the electronics and dissecting the circuit board to figure
out if this stuff is in there? So certainly, if
we did that to all of our devices, I think
we would find a scarily high percentageroen that have these
things built in.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
All right, that's probably the biggest story. We just talked
about it moments ago. But another big one. Trump up
on the hill talk about the one big beautiful bell today,
But he was there in the Rose Garden yesterday with
Melania signing that bill to take it down. Bill.

Speaker 11 (24:09):
No, we had that problems you got at But I
want to thank you, honey. You've done amazing that this
was done when you started and I said, it sounds
like a tough one and yet a very important one,
and you got it done. So I congratulate you, and
I congratulate Ted, Maria, everybody. Thank you very much, thank you.
We'll sign the bill.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Now, this is another one of the stories, and this
is a very sad one because there has real life
consequences and we've seen teenagers, particularly here in Michigan, that
have been blackmail etc. And taking their own lives because
of this.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
Yeah, justin this is something that's very sad that we
don't hear too much about, but it does happen in
our own community, where people take their own lives, people
will leave a spouse, people will lose their job. I
mean that the implications aren't just a suicide, and there's
many other implications at this car is because of inappropriate
content supposedly going to be leaked online in the classic

(25:06):
you know, pay us a lot of money or we're
going to post this nasty content online about you and
a lot of times that's false content that's AI generated.
This bill will provide protection for that, and it's gonna
be difficult for the people to stop this, that people
that own the basic of the Internet, because the Internet

(25:26):
is fairly open, but it is the start. It does
provide a court based legal system and process to remove
bad content and punish those who do that Stateside. I
don't know how they're gonna police us internationally, where a
lot of this kind of stuff comes from. But it
is a very good start, and this is long overdue.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Here it is Trent. Can there be an affordable life
store like Michigan Drive in stand Dow and by the way,
you can find out more about your device there, or
if you've got questions about your organization, your school, whatever
it might be, Grand Rivertech, Grand Rivertech dot com. He'll
be able to take care of you and get you
set up so that you're secure on the Chinese junk

(26:10):
that's causing so many issues. And don't forget next Tuesday,
that meeting on artificial Intelligence the Brave New World's Super
Intelligent Computers, Howard Miller Community Center in Zealand six to
eight thirty. Trent, myself and others that you'll recognize and
want to be a part of there. But the details
make sure they're up online in the show notes Justin

(26:31):
Barclay dot com Today in the Stack, Thank you, my friend.
Always a pleasure.

Speaker 7 (26:36):
Thanks Justin. Have a great day.

Back on Capitol Hill this morning, we're President Trump rallying
folks around that one big beautiful bill. We get to
that coming up first. I look at the market's a
little red on the screen, down down a little bit,
about one hundred points s and p twenty five deg
one hundred and twenty. Look, no matter what the markets
are doing, and just seeing the roller coaster right is
you're trying to get things back on. It's a juggling act.

(28:33):
The president moving forward, trying to get these things right
the ship, because there's been so much damage done the
last four years, particularly trying to get all of these
things done, and it really is. It's it's sort of
a juggling act. But that's the thing he's used to,
this sort of thing. You can sleep well at night
with the markets doing whatever dance they're doing. When you

(28:55):
talk to the folks at Talent Wealth guarding your nest
egg dot com. Why because you're gonna have the peace
of mind to know that whether you want to retire today, tomorrow,
ten twenty years down the road, you got everything right

(29:36):
speaking of timing and being of the essence on The
hill this. Morning The president just moments, ago speaking right
next to The speaker of The, House Mike, johnson said.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
This question of all that we have a tremendously unified.
PARTY i don't think we've ever had a party like.

Speaker 6 (29:51):
This there are some people that want a couple of
things that MAYBE i don't like or that they're not gonna.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Get BUT i think we're gonna have commendous not. Luck
you have tremendous. Talent this man has done an incredible
job of. Speaking you, know we had a majority of.
One we were one heart attack away from losing The. House,
okay now we have.

Speaker 11 (30:11):
Seven that's it big because you won some, elections as
you've probably, noticed.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
And we're going to win a lot of. Elections we
have an economy that's.

Speaker 11 (30:19):
Roaring we took out a five point one, billion if
you take a, look five point one trillion with A,
t not A.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
B five point one trillion out of The Middle. East
they're investing more than. That it's going to be ultimately
more than.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
That Whatever president On Capitol hill talking about the one,
big beautiful bill this morning and on the line with
us right, now Whe House Deputy Press Secretary Anna kelly
joining us now to talk about the trip to The
hill and what's in the. Bill folks are wondering some
of these, things but appreciate you taking some time to
be here with. Us as you just heard the kind
of lay out Tax, cus that's a big part of.

Speaker 13 (30:52):
It, Well, dustin, Exactly AND i loved the quote or
the clip that you just played from The president On
capitol The, hill because he's exactly. Right we have a
unified party behind these priorities of this president was elected to,
implement and even more, so we have a unified. Country
all of the provisions in this, bill no tax on,
tips no tax on, overtime increased border, security tremendous savings

(31:17):
in the form of over one point six trillion. Dollars
these are all a cornerstone of the agenda that The
american people In michigan and all across the country resoundingly voted.
For and so we're extremely excited to get this one,
big beautiful bill over the line and deliver the release
that The american people desperately want, after as you, said
just four years of disaster and a lot of problems

(31:40):
brought by the previous.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Administration so AND i noticed what he said. Too you,
know this is this is. Bigger there's a lot more
here than just breaking you, Know reagan era tax cuts
type of. Thing this, is this is setting us up
for success in the future in ways that we couldn't
EVEN i think we couldn't even.

Speaker 13 (31:59):
Imagine you're exactly, Right and as you, said these are
making his previous tax cuts, permanent, RIGHT i, mean that
is historic tax relief for the middle and working. Class
and on top of, that you have no tax on.
Tips imagine the relief that will bring to the millions
Of americans who work in our service, Industry these hard

(32:20):
Working americans who rely on tips to feed their, families
no tax on. Overtime that is huge for our first,
responders for our law enforcement, officers for our manufacturing. Workers of,
course that is a huge priority for this president to
ensure we have a large manufacturing industry to carry out
these trillions of dollars and investments he's securing into our.
Country so this is bringing much needed relief for families

(32:43):
across the, country for so many working Class americans who
really rely on this. Relief remember When President trump first
passed his tax relief in the first, Term Nancy pelosi
called it. Crumbs, well four years later The american, people,
remember realized how much they needed that. Relief and so
this is a huge promise, made promise kept For american
people all across the country who are desperately piding for

(33:06):
this release that this president has pledged and is delivering.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
On right, Now, hey LET'S i know. This this is
a big deal. Today and by the, way speak of big.
Deals it's like drinking from a firehouse watching this president
go from place to. Place but you, know this time
last week he is in The Middle east with trillions
of dollars of deals coming and fly in every. Day
it was it was wild to.

Speaker 13 (33:25):
Watch, YEAH i, mean this is the deal maker in, chief,
right that is where he, shines is making deals looking
anyone in the, eye friend or. Foe of, course we
have great relationships with foreign leaders in The Middle, east
and you, know making deals for the people in our. Country.
Right we had six hundred billion dollars From Saudi, arabia

(33:45):
one point two trillion dollars From, cutter two hundred billion
dollars FROM. Uae these are all going to directly translate
to good paying jobs with great benefits For americans in our.
COUNTRY i mean our, country in our manufacturing industry, specifically
has been hollowed out by not just you, Know democrat,
policies But republican policies, Too policies that have incentivized off

(34:07):
shoring have sent jobs. Overseas this president is the first
one to, say and not this. Enough we need to
restore our manufacturing, industry and we need to make sure
that we are manufacturing products here In, america not just
for economic, reasons but for national security reasons. Too and
so that's what that trip was. About it was about
securing these massive, deals leveraging his deal making prowess that

(34:30):
he's known, for and bringing really great investments in jobs
back here to our.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Country BEFORE i let you, go a couple of big
things that are still happening over the last few. Days this,
week we got no one above the. Law we've got
a chargers file to This representative Mackiv the. Confrontation it's
son like an insurrection at this ice facility In New. Jersey,
REALLY i, mean it's the best way to describe. It
i've never seen anything like this. Before now members Of

(34:56):
congress assaulting police. Officers this is a big. Story the
folks are very curious about and again that let's see that. Accountability, well, Look.

Speaker 13 (35:06):
I've deferred An Attorney General bondie on kind of how
this plays, out but WHAT i will say, is, look
this is a great example of why The Democrat, party
as your listeners, know is more unpopular than it's ever.
Been the contrast is so. Clear you Have President, trump
who again is fighting for policies like border, security supporting
our border agents right working to rebuild the border wall

(35:29):
that was dismantled by the previous. Administration in, contrasts you
Have democrats who are fighting with what with illegal immigrant
criminals From El salvador and, elsewhere fighting to keep them
in our, country people who have committed atrocities Against, americans
Like Rachel, morn Like Joscelyn. Nungary that is Who democrats
are fighting. For and SO i think the contrast can't

(35:49):
be more. Clear but we'll see how that plays. Out.
AGAIN i just heard of The department Of justice on.
That BUT i think it's a great testament as to
Why President trump is more popular than he ever. Had
he was delivered given a historic mandate by The american
people to secure the. Border democrats seem to not have
realized that they are totally out of touch with The american,
people and it's totally. Baffling but you know what this

(36:12):
president is going To can you continue to fight For
american citizens who deserve to feel safe and who do
not deserve to have illegal migrant criminals ravaging their communities
with migrant.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
Crime why, Out Deputy Press Secretary Anna, Kelly before we
let you, go the bills moved out of. Committee president's
there in The house today In, congress trying to get
everything kind of squared. Away what do we expect to?

Speaker 13 (36:34):
Vote, Well i'm sure there are conversations. HAPPENING i don't
want to get ahead of any announcements that come out
of these meetings. Today but, look as The president just,
said and as we talked, about this is a unified
party and even more, so a unified. Country so we
feel really good about this. Bill we know that it
reflects the priorities that The american people gave this president

(36:54):
when he was elected In, november and we think The
house recognizes that.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Too here you, Go, anna thank you so much For
kelly for joining us. Today Ana, Kelly, White House Press
Deputy Press. Secretary always a. Pleasure there you, go, folks
you just heard it from the mouth of The White.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
House, great, big beautiful.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Bill it's a. Beauty there's never been a bill like this.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
One and we got more to. Cover we'll talk about
that coming up the after, show the show after the,
Show doug. Anywhere Plus, yes we're gonna have a. CHANCE
i want to dig into this bill and really talk
about what's inside it and the things that folks are excited.
For we'll get into all of that and more on the.
