not going to want to this.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
In fact, we start with Trump and Musk.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
What started out is that bromance just exploded into a
barn knuckle brawl.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
The two Titans traded blows online and in the Oval office.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Thursday center shockwaves through Wall Street and Washington. At their
center of it all Trump's big, beautiful attacks and spending
bill once close. Allies must even donated two hundred and
ninety million dollars to help Trump win in twenty twenty four.
But a falling out has been brewing ever since Elon
left apparently now the war of the words is sparked.

(04:02):
Impeachment shatter, rattled the markets, even dragged the Epstein files
back into the spotlight. And I'm gonna tell you something
that nobody else will coming up here in just a
little bit. Uh, stand by for the latest hang on, folks,
I want to get to it. But more big news
out of Ukraine. Bombs, bridges, backroom deals, all exploding. Is

(04:24):
Chief was rocked overnight Russia, unleashing a deadly barage of
drowns and messils, killing at least four injuring dozens across Ukraine,
and strikes followed. Ukraine's bold counterattacks, including a surprise underwater
bombing of the Vital Kirch Bridge to crime me Meanwhile,
the White House, German Chancellor Friedrich Murz said Trump may

(04:45):
be the only man on earth who could stop that war,
calling him the key person to put pressure.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
On Putin for peace.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Now we're going here.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
It's an update.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Those Chinese researchers caught with a deadly pathogen. That ag
rogue terrorism story that just keeps getting more interesting by
the day. We found out federal money involved yesterday, and
now the Justice Department's coming out and saying, yet we're
not letting these guys off the hook.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Well that's quite a difference, is it?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Not quite a difference in the tact that apparently folks
here in Michigan took when that Chinese national was caught
University of Michigan student voting in the twenty twenty four
election and then just fleeing the country in the state.
Benson Nassel even Gretchen wentbor. Nobody really able to keep

(05:45):
the chentlemen around. And now folks, we have nobody to
go after. Well maybe we should go after them.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Just a thought. Yeah, Free for all Friday, firing up

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, never a dull moment round here, Kyle Olson, appreciate
you taking the tenth to be here with us from
the Midwestern or the Midwestern or Dot News.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
How are you doing. It's it's been a wild week.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
Huh, good morning, it's good to be with you. Yes,
it's uh, it's never it seems like it's never slowing down.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Now, that's the wild thing.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Goodness, I guess for folks in the news business, even
though we would like a break every now and then.
But all three of these stories major impacts here in Michigan,
these big stories today. But let's start, if we can,
with this wild story. And I want to get your
take on Trump and Moscowan. I got some I think
some things to add to this too, but let's start
with this massive story about this bio weapon that's discovered.

(07:20):
Seems to be part of the course here in Michigan,
particularly at the University of Michigan, all these forests, whites
coming in and of course the threats. I don't think
it'll be overstated here.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
Yeah, it's it's very disturbing, and there has there seems
to be a there seems to have been a real
tolerance for CCP partnerships in the state of Michigan, whether
it's Goshen like you and I have talked about, or
it's the University of Michigan allowing CCP related students to

(07:51):
come into the into the university. There were a number
of Michigan universities that a formal were relationships with Chinese
universities and Chinese universities that have relationships with the Chinese military.

(08:12):
And for whatever reason, our state has tolerated this, and
it's now, you know, we're getting burned by it. And
I think it's it's high time that these universities, the companies,
the Michigan state government, the federal government take this very seriously.
That the Chinese government does not like America. They want

(08:35):
us out of the way, and they clearly will will
stop at nothing to try and destroy our country.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Yeah, and I think that a fair assessment.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
The thing that I just wish people would get a
better grasp on is the fact that apparently, you know,
the people of the country China are fantastic, but the
government clearly views the United States as an adversary and
we're being treated to such. One of the things that
I think is probably most interesting about all of this is,

(09:09):
you know the fact that right before COVID came out,
we had we had a bit of a trade deal,
sort of a war going on in some in some ways,
and now we're back into it. We got another threat
from a biological agent.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Here.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
It sounds like in an issue these these things, you
put these two things together and I don't know, call
me a tenfoil out wearing conspiracy theories, but.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
I just call it critical thinking.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
This this adds up to be I think some very
concerning issues.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
Yeah, we we have been very lax as a state,
have been very lax about treating an adversary like it's
an adversary. I mean, for example, you know, we found
that Eastern Michigan University, Oakland University, the University of Detroit,
and the University of Michigan all had working relationship ships

(10:00):
with Chinese universities that are actively either doing cyber warfare, hacking,
et cetera. Or they're working with the Chinese government or
the Chinese military, which is obviously you know, intent on
destroying the United States. And so the work of Congressman

(10:23):
John Molinar and the CCP Committee in the House has
you know, made a difference in trying to wake these
universities up. But you know, the big question is just
because the relationship formally ends, are they cutting off communication?
Are they still working with them but finding other ways?
I Mean, one of the things that we're seeing in

(10:44):
universities around the country is just because you know, the
federal government bands DEI or they you know, threatened funding
over over tolerance for anti Semitism, doesn't mean it's actually
going away. You know, we're seeing universities are changing the language,
they are finding workarounds, or they're just totally ignoring it

(11:05):
all together. Is that what's happening at these universities? We
need answers to that.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Kyle Olson, the Midwestern or the Midwestern or dots some
of the big stories you mentioned. Obviously, Benson tied into
this story because of that voter, the one who voted
in the twenty twenty four election and high tailed it
out Benson back in the news and specifically because of
this this story and much much more, she's the most

(11:32):
lawless secretary of state in the state's history. They've now
filed or they're going to file articles of impeachment against her.
And the Oversight Committee has had this ab peena her
to get her to comply. She said, Hey, if I
become the governor last week with the rest of the
folks on Macano, I'll give you everything.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
I'll be so transparent. Yet she refuses to do that.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
Now, yes, exactly, and she so. Now the House Oversight
Committee is now taking her to court to force her
to comply with the subpoena. And what they're asking for
is very simple. They're asking for the training materials and
the guidance that she is providing to election officials clerks

(12:16):
specifically about how they process ballots, how they scrutinize signatures,
all of those sorts of things to make sure that
she is complying with the law. And so it's very
strange that she is now refusing to provide that information
to two former clerks. By the way, Jay de Boyer

(12:38):
was a county clerk and Rachelle Smith was also a clerk,
and so they understand how to handle sensitive information. But
she's trying to make it like, oh, this is some
sort of a security threat if she provides this guide,
which she has provided by the way to over five
thousand clerks across the state. She's now treating this like

(12:59):
this as some you know, major security scandal, and all
they're saying is, we want to know what you're telling
these people to make sure that you're complying with the law.
She's refusing to do it, and she has refused to
do it for weeks now. She ignored the subpoena, and
so now they're taking her to court to force her
to comply with the subpoena. So this is the situation
that she has created. Michigan taxpayers now have to pay

(13:23):
legal bills for the House to take her to court,
and she is going to spend Michigan tax payer dollars
to fight it. And so we now are in the
Michigan tax payers are now in a situation we're having
to pay the legal bills for all these people when
we just want the answers.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
It's just that simple. We want answers. Why won't they
give them to us? And it seems to me, I
don't know about you, but it just seems to me
chances are in situations like this if they don't comply
to gain something behind.

Speaker 6 (13:57):
That's a very logical question. It's a document that's gone
out to over five thousand people. What do you have
to hide? And this is this should be It is
a public document. It's very simple language about how clerks
treat treat ballots, how they scrutinize ballots. This this should

(14:21):
not be a big secret, but she's treating it like
a big secret. She now is. She was in Traverse
City the other night selling her book. She turned down interviews.
She didn't want to talk about impeachment because she wants
to try to have a very scripted campaign where she
can talk about, you know, protecting rights and all of

(14:42):
that stuff, when in reality, we want our rights protected.
We want to make sure that our votes are not
negated by a Chinese national who votes and then leaves
the country. So it's not just about the illegal voters,
it's about the legal voters who don't want votes to
be negated.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Listen, let's get it. I want to talk Trump and
Musk here in just a second. I got to take
a quick break for folks that are on the radio
side of things here, if you're watching behind the scenes
live stream, we'll give you a chance to chat in
the meantime, behind the scenes, our good friend Kyle Olson,
the Midwesterner, The Midwesterner dot News. It blew up yesterday
online and we're going to get down to about one

(15:23):
of gate your comment on I get some things I
want to share with you about it yesterday. Well, I
think we're really watching play out right after this. Don't
go anywhere, folks, it's West Michigan Live.

Speaker 7 (15:34):
Here are your headlines from The Midwesterner this Friday, June sixth.
I'm Robin Hoffman. It's a Midwesterner dot news original story. Well,
first they asked nicely. Now comes the subpoena. Lawmakers in
the Michigan House taking the next step with a lawsuit
against Secretary of State Democrat Jocelyn Bencent. They're forcing her
to comply and produce unredacted election training documents that she's

(15:57):
been refusing to turn over now for seven months. Michigan
State University urging foreign students not to leave the country.
This follows a rash of alleged crimes committed by Chinese
students that is prompting federal action. The most recent case
involves the arrest of a Chinese researcher accused of smuggling
an extremely dangerous fungus into the US through the airport

(16:20):
in Detroit. The woman's boyfriend also wanted by the Feds.

Speaker 8 (16:24):
Now, let's get the bill passed. We want to get
it passed through Congress without delay.

Speaker 7 (16:29):
In other news, President Trump sitting down for a roundtable
discussion with the Fraternal Order of Police, talking about how
he hopes that One Big Beautiful Bill passes. It would
make President Trump's twenty seventeen tax cuts permanent, cut other taxes,
and boost spending for border security and defense, wherepublicans say
it would also cut waste, fraud, and abuse. Here's the President.

Speaker 8 (16:52):
I'm also deeply grateful to the National Fraternal Order Police
for its resounding endorsement of the One Big, Big Beautiful Bill,
which is moving along very nice and with great support.

Speaker 7 (17:04):
For these stories and more, visit the Midwesterner at the
Midwesterner Dot News b.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
To Trump musk big blow up yesterday and actually, I
will tell you of everything that I've seen come out
of this. Kyle Olsen with us when the Midwesterner comment
on it, I'm gonna tell you what I think. I
think it's something not a lot of other folks are mentioning.
But see, the interesting thing to me is Trump is

(17:29):
being very measured.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
Now, there are some some comments.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
That he's come out with I think, well, maybe we'll
just you know, if you want to save money, maybe
we'll just cut all Elon's government contracts, which I think
was kind of funny. But he's being very measured in
the personal sort of attacks Elon not so much. What
do you make of all of this, Kyle, this is
a really strange thing to see.

Speaker 6 (17:56):
Well, yes, it's obviously not helpful. These are the sorts
of things you like to see, you know, play out
behind closed doors. But I think it's I don't know,
I think it's you know, it's not good that it's
playing out in public, but I sort of think it's
these are the fights that people have, and when traditionally

(18:17):
they would happen behind closed doors, sometimes they happen publicly.
I will say, yes, I agree with you. I think
I think the president is being very measured, and I
think he's sticking to the issues about the spending and
the and the things that the things that are in
the bills, specifically repealing the ev mandate and UH and

(18:39):
the and the and he and UH. Well specifically about that.
But then also Elon wanted a particular NASA administrator and
Trump went with somebody else and he didn't like that either.
So that's really what they're sparring about. Elon's deciding to
you know, throw in a bunch of other things. I
did see the Jeffrey Epstein lawyer came out tweeted that,

(19:02):
you know, there's nothing there, so obviously that intend is
to just sort of you know, rile everybody up, which
you know the media is falling for that.

Speaker 5 (19:10):
To me, I said that to this is just proof.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
This this is just ramblings of somebody who's not happy.
And that's that's all it is.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
Because this old Jeffrey Epstein thing. And I'll get into
this here in just a little bit.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
But if there was anything real dirt on Trump, we
would have had that years ago.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
We would have had a year.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
Yeah, hey, I.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Appreciate it. Unfortunately, we're just running out of time here, Kyle.
Thank you for jumping in with us this morning on
this Folks that will find out more.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
I know you got it online at the.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Midwestern Midwestern dot News quickly fifteen seconds.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
What do you got coming up?

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Folks should be looking out for online at the website
and blog.

Speaker 6 (19:47):
Well, we're continuing to follow what's going on in Lansing. Obviously,
this Jocelyn Benson subpoena story and impeachment and all of that.
I mean, that's really dominating what's going on. So we're
going to continue to cover that.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Keep your eyes up and folks, a lot more come
on your way. And what I think really is going
on behind the scenes with this Trump must thing. I'll
get into it after this back after a bottle of
hour news right here, West Michigan Live, What Radio, hang not.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Wherever you are, stream us on your smart folks, West
Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on News Radio wood through.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Te free for all Friday, joined a program.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
I want to hear from you too, and I want
to I want to get your take on the Trump
musk rift on online here yesterday. What do you think
about it? I am, I'm just curious to hear what
the average person saying. A lot of people that don't
believe it's real. Uh, And I get that too, I said,
for the beginning I watched it.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
I got something's off on this.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
I'm not really sure what it is, but I don't
quite have the tinfoil hat on altogether here to tell you,
you know, hey, I think what we're watching is something staged.
I don't don't necessarily think that, because ah, well there's
a there's a couple of reasons for it.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
But first.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Put my tenfold hat on it just enough to uh,
to go ahead and make some statements on what we're watching.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Mhm.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Christy on the chat behind the scenes last year, Today, Facebook, Twitter,
x Rumble, get her Locals, YouTube, and.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Now the tic TAC.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Christy saying she thinks it's uh, it's all three d chess.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Trump and Elan are playing.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
I think there's something that that Elon is very upset
about and I and I'm not exactly sure what it is,
but I think he finally hit a breaking point. I
think he wanted to say some of these things while
he was inside the administration, but out of respect for
President Trump, he didn't. And I think the two of
them need to get on the phone and they might.

(22:00):
There's new breaking news today. In fact, there's a kid
with like seventeen followers. First and foremost, I'll just say this.
He mentioned something and Elon responded to it. I thought
that was kind of wild. There is no scheduled phone
call today. Just so you know, there is no scheduled

(22:22):
phone call that's supposed to happen or take place today.
Trump administrations come out and said, no, that's that's not
quite correct.

Speaker 5 (22:33):
But there was a kid who out.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Of nowhere in one of the comments, I guess it was,
I guess it was. Let me let me pull it
up real quick and tell you what exactly what he
said it was. It was in a reply. It was
in a reply to one of these one of these
comments sections on Twitter or x Now, umm Alaska. Fab

(23:05):
twenty five June is the name of the screen name
Fab twenty five June. Now, at the time, he only
had seventeen followers. Who knows how many's going to get
now because Elon replied to him and now this story's
gone like you know viral. Oh, now he's got five
thousand followers, Holy smokes. So that was that was quick.

(23:29):
So Elon said in line of the President's statement about
cancelation of my government contracts, SpaceX will begin to decommissioning
its Dragon spacecraft immediately. That was in response to what
Trump wrote on truth which is the easiest way to
save money in our budget, billions and billions of dollars,
is to terminate Elon's government subsidies and contracts.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
I was always surprised that Biden didn't do it.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
So this kid, we think it's a kid seventeen followers
at the time, says this is a shame, this back
and forth. You are both better than this. Cool off
and take a step back for a couple of days.

(24:14):
Elon said, good advice. Okay, we won't decommission Dragon. So
a kid with seventeen followers may have saved they have
saved this relationship.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
And you can't you cure. You can't make this stuff up, folks.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
This is just it's it's nutty, and lots of what
is a lot of people sort of thinking like are
we watching some sort of like I don't know, some
sort of WWE sort of.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
Stage, you know, scripted event. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
All I can tell you is I would hope, but
there's a lot on the line. There's a lot going
on on the line. In fact, you see Tesla stock dropping,
seeing the stock market reacting all kinds of things. Yesterday,
I think he lost like thirty some billion dollars worth
of stock. Now you know, got quite a few there,
but Tesla board if they get upset, they pulled Elon

(25:13):
back and kick him out. Who knows Trump not interested
in must call, they said. The White House officials are
saying this morning, well, that's probably the first of all
art of the deal.

Speaker 6 (25:27):
I wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't need to talk to him,
but I want to tell you what what I see here.
And I don't know how many other people are saying this,
but this is this is this is. I posted this yesterday,
but this is exactly how I feel about this because
it's such an important alliance. I really, I really feel

(25:50):
this way. And I said it enough is enough for
the circuit filings squad. There President Trump swinging a lud
jandamarant to swamp with the big beautiful bill.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
It really is.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
It's big, it's beautiful. Elon would say, not so much.
It is big, but I don't know about the beautiful part.
That's what That's what Elon would say. I think these
guys are both right.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
In fact, the great, big beautiful bill, it's a beauty.
There's never been a bill like this one.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Trump wants to get all of his campaign promises in fact,
there are quite a few of them wrapped up inside
that bill. He wants to get all of them accomplished,
and he wants to get the dose cuts done as well.
Trump's Elon wants those dose cuts like right away. He
wants all of that to take place immediately. But we've
already heard this strategy is getting this bill through because

(26:42):
they can't. If they they want to do everything that
Elon wants to do, You've got to have sixty votes
in the House or excuse me, in the Senate to
get that done. And as I've explained over the last
you know, several days, why you're watching what you're watching
is it is strategy. It's both of them are both
of them want to get things done in a certain way,

(27:03):
but there is there's a way to do this. Joe
Paggs put it this way on Axe the other day.
Let me say something, Elon Musk must know. This is
not the budget. Business reconciliation doing what voters want in
this then using recision to bring back money wrongly appropriated

(27:24):
and empowerment is what can be done. The actual budget
is for a fiscal year that's next. He said, Elon,
I'm a fan, but you had to know this, No,
And I think he's right. Pegs is on the money.
This is one of the things that I had the
conversation with somebody who's really in the know on this
stuff yesterday and we were both going back and forth,

(27:47):
and I don't I just one thing I don't understand
is what doesn't Elon get There's something that must be off.
He's smarter than this. Most people don't get some of
this stufe. So why is he acting the way? He's
exactly the most average, everyday person. That's why I find
it so hard to communicate some of these things, is
that you and I the average person, we're not paying attention.
We don't know the intricacies of getting things through Congress,

(28:09):
et cetera. And that that is to the detriment of
this whole scenario. But what I think you're you know
again you're saying play out is these two guys very
passionate about. There may be something behind the scene that
Elon's just not telling us about that we don't know
that he's upset about, or the whole thing's a stage plot.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
But you got trumps swinging the sledgehammer. You got Elon
rev and the Tesla engines demanding we slash with that
chainsaw all the bloat before the lights go out on
our kid's future.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
And by the way, they're both right.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Both men love this country, both have skin in the game,
and both are catching flat precisely because they're over the target.
The thing that nobody else is telling you, folks, it's
truth is in DC, it's identified. But again you already
know that, right. They thrive on this sort of division.

(29:06):
These vipers, they love it. If we let America First
Coalition and the folks of MAGA, etc. Cannibalize itself specifically
in something like this, then they win the unit party
the swamp they went without even lifting a finger. See,

(29:27):
I think it's possible we can champion Trump's growth agenda
and fight for Elon's budget chain saw both at the
same times. Those positions aren't mutually exclusive unless we choose
pride over patriotism, and we ought to do that. So
I'm just calling on everybody, cooler heads to prevail here.
Let's stay laser focused on the real enemies, the runaway spending,

(29:50):
the weaponized bureaucracy, and the globalist gravy train.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
All of this.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
Needs to happen. I'm praying we find the calmon ground
that keeps the engine of freedom waring. Because here's the
thing is the most important piece of all of this.
The accounts sharpening their knives and a two United we
advance divided, we hand victory over to the swamp period,

(30:18):
and I'll a bet you there's no questioning President Trump's patriotism.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
There's none of this.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Was he in the Epstein files or any of this stuff,
because that would have come out years ago. It's just
ridiculous to even mention that. Well, the one thing I
will tell you, the swamp doesn't want these folks to succeed,

(30:46):
and that's what we're up against right now.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
More on this and the other.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Things that folks are telling you behind us is plus
I get to you and your phone calls coming out
next after this, it's West Michigan Life.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
Don't go anywhere. We're back. Thanks down a free for
all Friday informative Engage it.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on News Radio
Wood thirteen hundred and one oh six nine a FM.

Speaker 7 (31:10):
Here are your headlines from the Midwesterner this Friday, June sixth,
I'm Robin Poffman. It's a Midwesterner Dot News original story.
Michigan State University urging foreign students not to leave the country.
This follows a rash of alleged crimes committed by Chinese
students that is prompting federal action. The most recent case
involves the arrest of a Chinese researcher accused of smuggling

(31:34):
an extremely dangerous fungus into the US through the airport
in Detroit. The woman's boyfriend also wanted by the Feds.
She's been dodging for seven months now. Republican lawmakers here
in the Michigan House have clearly had enough of Jocelyn
Benson's stall and delay tactics. Lawmakers issuing a subpoena to

(31:54):
the Secretary of State. They're trying to get her to
turn over those unredacted election training documents that she's been
holding onto. For these stories and more, visit the Midwesterner

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Thanks the mentality today, powering this program today and every day.

Speaker 5 (32:10):

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Your body's telling you something, Guys, that ads you used

Not your fault. Reach out to mentality today to help
you to come the man, the husband, the father, the
grandfather that you were created to be. You've got a
lot to accomplish. Mentalityhealth dot Com, Slash Radio take your
fire back today, all right, jumping on the on the

(32:33):
phones quickly. We got a couple in a free for
all Friday. I want to make sure that we get
to on the line. First up Mike in Holland. Mike,
I appreciate you calling in this morning. What do you
think you're watching us?

Speaker 5 (32:44):
Behind us? Is this planned? Is there something more going
on here that meets the eye?

Speaker 6 (32:50):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (32:50):
I absolutely think it's planned. I mean, they're both really
smart guys. The only way to get Elon back his
business and his loss is to make him look like
you a little more of a liberal having stopped burning
up Tesla's and like Elon's saying that he's in the
Epstein files. He knew he wasn't. They knew he wasn't,
so he can say that and that can be proven wrong.

(33:11):
He said he was going to stop the space flights
to the space station. Well he's already pulled that back.
So this whole thing is kabuki theater. It's I mean liberals,
if nothing else, aren't that bright, and they'll buy it
and then they'll start supporting Elon again. It's like when
Petraeus backed out of the government. He was in my

(33:31):
class at West Point. I know the guy, and he
would not have an affair on his wife, Beckon. She
was like the superintendent's daughter. But he needed that. He
needed to say, I'm going to make a lie because
I got to get out of this situation. Otherwise I'm
going to get demoted and lose all my pensions. So
they set these things up so that the public can
be feel better about it or whatever, and they just

(33:53):
do it. That's the way it works, you know.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
That's that's kind of interesting. You know, I was wondering, Okay,
why what's point of doing this? But as you're saying,
you think it's to help Elon get some of his
market share back with Tesla.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
We lost fourteen percent in the market. He's taking a
hit for billions of dollars just to help the country.
I mean, they're both patriots, they both love the country.
I think they still respect each other and this is
the only way out. I mean, it makes sense if
you think about it.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
It's an interesting concept. And thank you, my friend. I
appreciate you calling in. Say we're going to dig into
this a little bit more during the after show, the show,
after the show coming up, I did see the sticker.
Somebody did a uh, somebonny did the mean with Trump
putting the sticker on the tesla that says I bought
this before Elon went crazy.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
It's kind of funny.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
I never thought you see something that that rubs one
crowd one way and the other the other one and
just and now you got folks that are out there
torching teslas that may be out there buying them.

Speaker 5 (34:50):
And driving them. That's crazy to watch.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Hey, we've got good news to tell you about on
the phone with us right now from Grace's Table. Stephanie
four is with us, and we've got some big things
happening on Monday. And I know the folks here listening
to the program would love to get involved.

Speaker 9 (35:06):
Stephanie, we would love to share with you guys about that.
This is actually Lisa Anderson, the founder and director of
Grace's Table, here with Stephanie Flores, our outreach manager. We
are super excited to be walking alongside young moms between
the ages of thirteen and twenty four and tell you
a little bit about dayper day happening on June ninth.

Speaker 5 (35:27):
Fantastic, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Well?

Speaker 10 (35:31):
On June nine, we are going to have three diapers
for all months thirteen and twenty four. We are very excited.
We are going to have a lot of community partners.
They're each going to have a table for all our
moms so they can come in and ask questions, learn
about different programs, and connect with services that we'll be
able to support them long after this diaper day is over.

Speaker 5 (35:54):
Tell us about Grace's table. What are you guys up to?
What have you been doing for all these years at
Porting Folks.

Speaker 9 (36:00):
Yeah, for the last ten years, we have been walking
alongside young moms between the ages of thirteen and twenty
four from isolation to community and working with them on
their goal so that they can work towards the brighter future.
We do this through mentorship, life skills courses. We actually
have residential opportunities for families to have stable housing, as

(36:20):
well as working with our family advocates to connect with
resources that they need so that they can have the
best life possible as they're working towards those goals.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
I love that so fantastic to hear where you got
folks that are coming out and supporting in a big way.
And I think, you know, look, just don't just talk
about it, be about it. That's really that I think
the way that folks need to look at this. How
can people help out? I know Monday is the big day.
Where can they drop off or be a part? What

(36:52):
can they do to help well?

Speaker 10 (36:55):
Diapers of course are huge need. All parents need it.
We need it very expensive. So we are taking donations today.
We are here until five. Our address is nine oh
nine Watson Streets southwest here in Grand Rapids. If you
have any questions or anything, please give me a call
or text six one six three oh.

Speaker 9 (37:17):
Seven to zero two eight.

Speaker 10 (37:20):
And again we are taking donations and not just for
diaper Day. You can come in anytime after diaper day
and just you know, we are happy to take any
kind of donations, diapers, wipes, anything.

Speaker 5 (37:32):
Well, make sure we.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Put all the information online and the website. Again, if
folks want to be a part of that, what's a
great way to look you up online?

Speaker 9 (37:40):
Yeah, we would love to connect with you online at
Grace's Table dot com or on any of our socials
at Around Grace's Table dot com.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
Stephanie, Lisa, thank you so much for all you do.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Thank you for taking the time to be here with us,
for us the audience will put links up for this
in the Stack today too, so you can be a
part of it.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
And yeah, we'll remind folks Monday too. Make it a
great weekend. We appreciate you all. Here you go, folks,
another great cost to get involved with and big diaper
Day Monday. We'll give you more details about the drop
offs again online. Hey, I got lots to get to
in the after show. Some of these theories that are
really wild and fascinating. We'll talk about that and the

(38:19):
stories you won't hear anywhere else.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
The Stack is loaded.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
We didn't get to hardly anything in it, so we'll
do that during the after show. Next Facebook, Twitter, x Humble,
