Speaker 2 (00:21):

another gold news cycle. Huh yeah. Now we we have

all weekend? Living under a rock? A little bit of
a road awakening, We got a wake up. Those few things,
some things you just can't ignore. That's the heat. We'll
(00:44):
talk about that. Of course, those strategic strikes on Iran's
nuclear program, all of that and more coming up leus
do is Trump? What'll make Iran great again?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
We'll get into that hot news, weather and traffic. I
w his stories of the day. We are talking about
what matters most in West Michigan and beyond. This is
the Big three now see speak three.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, the stories of metamos. Here to talk about these
around the water cool the dinner tiple. No matter where
you are, these stories powered by good friends at Heartlet
Home Mortgage Day, have got away of the team standing
by to help you. They've helped us save thousands every
time we deal with them. They're fast, they're better than
the big banks. And whether you want to buy refine
homemaker with a line of credit, Day and the team

can help you get the job done. Reach out today
at HHM lending dot com and see what they can
do for you like they've done for us and so
many others that listen to this program. Number one, Well,
it's the big news of the day, make a ran
great again. Trump's latest tweet, the Midnight Hammers strike coming
(01:56):
this weekend Saturday. About a little before eight o'clo. We
got that message, Shrike crippling their Iran's nuclear sites with
zero leaks. Probably the most interesting piece of this, none
of it leaked to the press. Nobody knew this was
coming on Saturday night. We're gonna break down coming up here.
How some of this worked out and the behind the
scenes logistics of it all is really kind of incredible.
(02:20):
But President Trump, under his authorization, the United States launching
a significant military operation dubbed Operation Midnight Hammer, targeting three
key Iranian nuclear facilities. The strikes involving one hundred and
twenty five US military aircraft, including seven BE twelve stealth bombers,
all equipped with those bunker busting bobs aimed to obliterate
(02:41):
nuclear enrichment capabilities and around number two, a complete success.
As they're saying today, we talked more about this so
on the fallout of it all. No pun intended here,
but thank God for the good guy with a gun. Yesterday,
heavily armed Michigan man wearing a tactical vest open fire
inside cross Point Community Church the other side of the
(03:02):
state in Wayne, striking at least one parishioner in the leg.
As the attacker approached to building a church, corps drove
into him with his pickup truck, and two church security
team members then fatally shot the gunman, averting a potentially
mass shooting. The thirty one year old man from Romulus
(03:22):
no known criminal record, Pearsy, was suffering a mental health crisis.
His mother rumored to be attending that church as well.
Thank God a worse tragedy was provided. In praying for
those folks there. I can't imagine what they're going through today. Well,
it's on a heat wave, in fact, continuing today at
(03:44):
cross West Michigan tempts toomping out around ninety three, and
of course the heat index itself will fill much much warmer.
But you and I both know how to handle this.
It's not the first time we've been through it, but
we're going to make sure that we get through it together.
(04:07):
Stay cool, but make sure you stay safe while you're
staying cool. We had some drownings this weekend and some
really unfortunate things that took place, and thinking about and
praying for those families as well as they're moving through
some of those really tough times. This morning, all right,
your chance to weigh and want to ask you how
you feel about these strikes. What are you thinking about
(04:28):
this morning? Your chance to jump into conversation you can.
I know I've seen a mixed reaction online about this,
and I want to talk when I get into it.
What do you think may come next? And is this
the beginning of something bigger or was it the finishing Modell.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Justin now at six one, six seven seven four twenty
four twenty four at six one, six seven seven for
twenty four to twenty four West Michigan Live with justin
Barklay on news Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one oh
six nine, alf Am.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
That heat wave all of across the country. In fact,
today we're going to see folks really gripped. In fact,
I was looking at temperatures yesterday here and then in
Indiana really really hot. But down in Florida, of all places,
so Pensacola, where it was actually cooler than it was here,
(05:20):
which I thought to myself, I'm in the wrong place.
How did I do that? I can't. I can't believe it.
We got at least another day or so it does
cool off. We got some rain and some storms coming
in a little later on this week. We'll talk about
that come on coming up here in just a little bit.
But first, what is really interesting to me about the
(05:43):
strikes that took place this weekend is a reaction, not
necessarily international fallout about this. So it's more so like
the inside conversations now that's not just happening here in
the States, but even inside you know parties or all right,
the right versus the left and things like that, which
is really interesting to see. Now I understand there's a
(06:05):
lot of folks that voted for President Trump because they
don't want any new foreign wars. I get that, it's
one of the reasons I voted for him. But once
you saw this weekend, and it's yet to be determined,
may have been the end of any US involvement in
(06:25):
any foreign wars. It may have been the nail on
the coffin or and this is yet to be determined,
yet to be seen. But unfortunately, anyone making any predictions
at this point, it's just simply that you're rolling the dice.
We just can't tell. Now there are unintended consequences, so
I you know, listen, I'm in prayer about that as well.
(06:47):
I am grateful that everyone returned home. All of the
US military involved in the in the operation return home safe.
I absolutely am thrilled that that happened. I'm thrilled also
that as the President described these particular strikes as strategic
(07:08):
and targeted only on these nuclear side, not military sites,
but nuclear sites, those civilians involved the target it at all.
I think that's important to note as well. But again,
whether this makes things worse or whether it actually it
(07:30):
wraps everything up, there's another thought process here, is it
by President Trump jumping in and doing what he's done.
It takes really the emphasis away from Israel engaging in
a long term sort of conflict here. Who knows. I
don't again, it's just that's yet to be determined. But
these are a couple of the ideas of thought that
(07:50):
are out there. Here's what the President had to say
late as the addressed the nation ten pm Eastern Saturday night.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
A short time ago, the US military care out massive
precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the
Iranian regime for Doeaux Natance and Esfahan. Everybody heard those
names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise.
(08:20):
Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity
and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the
world's number one state sponsor of terror. Tonight, I can
report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular
military success. Iran's key nuclear and Richmond facilities have been
(08:43):
completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East,
must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks
would be far greater and a lot easier. For forty years,
Iran has been saying death to America, death to Israe.
They have been killing our people, blowing off their arms,
(09:03):
blowing off their legs with roadside bombs.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
That was their specialty.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
We lost over a thousand people, and hundreds of thousands
throughout the Middle East and around the world have died
as a.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Direct result of their hate.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
In particular, so many were killed by their General Cassem SOLMANI.
I decided a long time ago that I would not
let this happen.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
It will not continue.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahoo.
We worked as a team like perhaps no team has
ever worked before, and we've gone a long way to erasing.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
This horrible threat to Israel.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful
job they've done. And most importantly, I want to congratulate
the great American patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight,
and all of the United States military on an operation
the likes of which the world has not seen in many,
many decades. Hopefully we will no longer need their services
(10:06):
and this capacity.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I hope that's so.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
I also want to congratulate the Chairman of the Joint
Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Raisin Kane, spectacular General and
all of the brilliant military minds involved in this attack.
With all of that being said, this cannot continue.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
There will be either.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater
than we have witnessed over the last eight days.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Remember, there are many targets left.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
The night's was the most difficult of them all by far,
and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not
come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision,
speed and skill.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Most of them can be taken out in a matter
of minutes.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
There's no military in the world that could have done
what we did tonight, not even close. There has never
been a military that could do what took place just a.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Little while ago.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Tomorrow, General Cain, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, we'll have
a press conference at eight am at the Pentagon, and
I want to just thank everybody, and in particular God.
I want to just say, we love you God, and
we love our great military. Protect them. God bless the
(11:26):
Middle East, God bless Israel, and God bless America.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Wow that piece at the end, you want to thank God.
This is incredible. This comes, of course as he's giving
that that address to the nation.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Took place just a little while ago.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Tomorrow, General Cain, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, We'll have
a press conference at eight am at the Pentagon, and
I want to just thank everybody, and in particular God.
I want to just say, we love you God, and
we love our great military.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Protect them.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
God bless the Middle East, God bless Israel, and God
bless America.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
That I've never seen anything like that before. That's incredible.
I've got details of this that I want to pour
through because one of the things that really impressed me
the most out of this is that they were able
to pull this out without a single leak. Some of
the things that they did to sort of swerve the
press and the enemies behind the scenes are really incredible.
(12:36):
Because Catherine Marriage, i think, is with Fox and she
was at the Pentagon talking about how she's never seen
anything like this in her years working at the Pentagon's.
Nobody was talking. There was no leaking, and the press
has got to absolutely be baffled by that. It's never
happened before. It's a fleete one eighty from everything that
(13:03):
we've seen in the past and particularly in the very
most recent administration. Anyone talk about that. Plus, I want
to give you a chance to weigh in as well,
if you're able. Thank you for standing.
Speaker 5 (13:15):
With us today for the national anthem.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Focused on what matters to you.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
Here are your headlines from The Midwesterner this Monday, June
twenty third. I'm Robin Hoffman. It's a Midwesterner News original story.
As Governor Whitmer looks to run for higher office, more
evidence of her economic failure right here in Michigan. Turns out,
the cost to live comfortable in our state hits more
(15:01):
than eighty seven thousand dollars a year for a single adult.
Forty one percent of Michigan's population is struggling to cover
the basics. In other news, US Customs and Border Patrol
agents here in Michigan arresting seven illegal aliens from Mexico, Guatemala,
and one special interest alien from China. All will be
(15:23):
processed for removal. Congressional leaders reacting to the US air
strikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran. President Trump's allies
praising the move. Here's Republican Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas
speaking to ABC's This Week program.
Speaker 7 (15:39):
We have troops in the region aron As targeted Americans
around the world, and marine barracks in Beirut and barracks
in Saudi Arabia. They've targeted embassies of countries around the world.
For all we know, they may have gotten sleeper seals
into the country. They're in Joe Biden's wide open border.
So the threats are serious and we take them seriously.
President Trump has no higher priority as do I in
(15:59):
the safety the American people.
Speaker 6 (16:01):

Speaker 2 (16:05):
You see so many people yesterday. By the way, at
Nuchapel a chance to speak in the message that was
just just lighing on my heart. I am so glad.
By the way, if you want to see it. People
are asking about watching the video right now. It's up
for VIP members over on locals the Freedom Fan but
I'm gonna release it wide to everyone, podcast, video and
(16:26):
everything in the next few days. But if you want
to see it, first, right away, you can go over
there and check it out. I'll give you more details
on on the way. First, I want to jump on
the online. Paul's with us this morning. Paul, call it
in and you can join the program too at six one,
six seven, seven twenty four. Paul, Good morning, you're on
West Michigan Live.
Speaker 8 (16:46):
Good morning, justin.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
How are you fantastic, sir?
Speaker 8 (16:50):
Good beg. Just want to Billy Cunningham last night reminded
everyone that UH Barack Obama US attacked seven countries without
congressional oversight. Congression. Yeah, Congress have proven it. When they
talk about UH pro using it, you know it's the
(17:14):
yeas authority. So you want to say that. And I
want to remind everyone out there about Afghanistan and the
Mother of all bombs. When you put that on the
mountain and blue half of that, the UH, Afghan, the Taliban,
the UH they went to the bargaining table. So I
put that out there.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Fantastic points, both of them. Paul, Thank you so much
for calling in. Hang. I want to get you a
copy of my book Good News, Hope and Encouragement for
Trying Times. I got a copy or two left. We
gave a bunch of y yesterday at Newchapel. But I'm
going to get you a copy. If you don't have one,
I'll sign it and sent to you. Great points bomb
and I got it on the screen. That means this
morning here uh drop bombs, but didn't declare ward Libya
(17:55):
twenty eleven, Pakistan two thousand and nine to sixteen, Yemen
two thousand and nine, twenty sixteen, so mally twenty nine
to twenty sixteen, Irk and Syria twenty fourteen to twenty sixteen.
A very good point, and we didn't hear everybody crying
about that at the time. Now listen, I understand folks
on the left that you're anti war. You've got to
be anti war in Ukraine, you got to be anti
(18:17):
warre in all of these places. Otherwise you're just a hypocrite.
I think that's the point Paul's making, and it wons
that it lands squarely, So folks, we continue. In fact,
I got more from this week in the fall out
press conferences, what they're saying on the Sunday shows, and more.
We want to hear from you too, back right after this.
(18:38):
If you want to know how to stay safe and
of course feel peace through the roller coaster ride. That
is another market and more of these days, especially if
you're ready for retirement rather it's now ten twenty years
down the road. The folks at Talent Wealth are helping
you do that on a daily basis. They are helping
so many people get ready. Like I said, right now
(18:59):
or later, that you can have the lifestyle that you're
looking for right guarding yournaestegg dot com as the website

egg dot com. But don't wait, do it before it's
(19:23):
too late. Pete Hegsath, the Secretary of Defense at the
pentagonon s the order.
Speaker 9 (19:28):
We received from our commander in chief was focused, it
was powerful, and it was clear. We devastated the Iranian
nuclear program. But it's worth noting the operation did not
target Iranian troops or the Iranian people. For the entirety
of his time in office, President Trump has consistently stated
(19:51):
for over ten years that Iran must not get a
nuclear weapon, full stop. Thanks President Trump. Bold and visionary
leadership and his commitment to peace through strength, Iran's nuclear
ambitions have been obliterated. Many presidents have dreamed of delivering
(20:13):
the final blow to Iran's nuclear program, and none could
until President Trump. The operation President Trump planned was bold
and it was brilliant, showing the world that American deterrence
is back. When this president speaks, the world should listen.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
That's for sure. You just made that point off the air.
Just the fact that this operation took place means that
the world is paying attention once again. When this president speaks,
he means it, and it's not just a veiled threat.
He means business. And the United States Military is more
capable than ever before at his command and to make
(21:01):
sure that those things happen in the America stay safe
and are interested throughout the well. Now listen. I probably
most impressed everything that I've seen over the weekend, Probably
most impressed. This was Saturday night. I didn't want I
was just I was trying to get ready and I
was I was giving the message to Newchapel on Sunday,
(21:22):
and I thought to myself, I just I just want
to turn everything off because this message is so important.
I got to give and so focused on that, and
of course then this breaking news happens, and I say,
it's kind of funny because it's sort of part of
my message of freedom and whatnot, you know, trying to
make sure that you don't stay a slave to the
headlines and notifications on your phone or anything else that
(21:43):
might have you in chains. That was kind of a message.
That was sort of my point, and I thought, well,
here we are. Now, I'm right in the middle of it.
But I had turned TV on just for a little bit,
just to see what we were dealing with, and then
I turned it off. I said, I don't need to it.
I could be cause you could sit and watch it
all night long. In fact, I saw the press been
coming on and I didn't even watch through the entirety,
(22:03):
and it was only three minutes, right, I just saw
what I needed to say. I said, Okay, we're good here,
and ED turned it off. Well, here's Catherine Herrins. I
caught her on Saturday night talking about this, and this
made my jo dra This is the most impressive piece
of all of this. No leaks more.
Speaker 10 (22:19):
According to the President. The other thing I can point out,
Brett is that this is an operation. In the last
eighteen years since I've been at.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
The PIT, I keep calling her Katherine Herrins. She worked
for CBS. This is Jennifer Griffin, and.
Speaker 10 (22:30):
I've never seen such operational security. There was nobody speaking
about this, any of the preparations. There was a complete lockdown,
almost a blackout of information for the last few days.
I'm sitting here in the Pentagon right now, I can
tell you the hallways are empty and all of the
information is coming right now out of the White House.
(22:51):
That is a significant achievement because there was there were
no leaks about the timing. Now sometimes I think those
who a lot of the flight trackers, the open source
intelligence flight trackers, that flight radar did indicate some of
the when the B twos took off from white Men.
But again, nobody really expected that it would take place
(23:14):
this evening. If you looked at the moon schedule, you
might have had a clue because it was a waning
crescent and almost a new moon on the twenty fifth.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
That's what they did. They wanted the darkest time coming through,
which is fascinating me.
Speaker 10 (23:28):
It would have been very very dark over Iran tonight,
and you need that in order to.
Speaker 8 (23:35):
Bomb.
Speaker 10 (23:35):
That's the ideal condition for something like a B two
that is, yes, itsself stealth, but it still has to
be escorted in and clease any Iran were to put
up any planes or or there were any opportunities to
fire on those B twos, which are such valuable and
very very special planes. Only the US military has this
(23:57):
kind of weaponry and this capability. No other country in
the world could have carried off what occurred tonight at
those three uranium enrichment sites in Iran.
Speaker 11 (24:10):
Yeah, Jenn, you're exactly right on the operational security here
and the fact that there were obviously some red herrings.
And in a world where decisions are made and the
world digests the decision even before it's made because of
social media and everyone's watching everywhere, this was a pretty
(24:30):
amazing operation. When you start thinking that the President said
within two weeks, we are two days from within two weeks,
and this happens with a post on truth social and
no other word really getting out ahead of that.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
That might be the most incredible part. Did nobody knew
anything until the President dropped that bomb on truth Social
Nobody knew anything until he said it's been done. And
our fighters are now the bombers are now out of
military person out of Iranian airspace. That is incredible, And
yet that's what's supposed to be. That's what you and
(25:08):
I voted for. We voted for buttoned up, no mistakes
and no issues. Now I tell you he's done it twice. Now,
one of the other things you just mentioned was the
sort of deception and some of the techniques that were
used in order to make this happen. Something as simple
as I sat here on Friday telling you that was
(25:28):
our big headline. Well, they say two weeks. Trump's decided,
he's going to take two weeks and then he's going
to make a decision. Well it wasn't two days and
they were bombing these nuclear sites already. Now, whether you
think it's a good idea to do that or not,
whether he should have done that or not, and what's
going to happen you know because of it, that all
(25:49):
remains to be seen. Of course, they're on Iranian state
TV now with a map of the US showing military
basis to places and people all over the world trying
to get something to pop off. There certainly will be
some sort of unintended consequences at some point. But what
happens next is is really is really the key issue.
(26:14):
So let's let's get into that. Coming up after this
in the US is committed crime against Iran airspace. It
has no place in the West Asian region. President the
(26:34):
United States, you started it and we will finish it.
That's what they said on Iranian TV. Now there's questions
about some of these issues, and I want to talk
about that coming up, uh, particularly sleep or sell questions straight.
So Horror moves. The answers about that, I think they
might kind of shock some folks, but we'll grab your
(26:57):
calls too in just moments after this. Thanks to the
folks at Mentality for helping power this program today and
every day. Men, we need you and to fight, as
you can see now more than ever, whether that's at home,
for your family, to be the best dad's, the best husbands,
the best fathers, grandfathers, and more. We need you in
(27:21):
the fight and in your call on a daily basis.
You need to be the men you were created to be.
And that edge that used to have and you lost
that energy, the strength to drive, maybe it's faded, it's
all gone. It's not your fault though testlesterol levels and
many have dropped every generation. In normal ranges, they tend
to lie. So you need to get back on track
(27:42):
and the folks at Mentality want to help you do
that today. Reach out and find out why. Over twenty
thousand men come to Mentality and seeing the difference they
can make because normal doesn't build legacies. Reach out and
become the man you used to be. Live longer. Right,
it's time been waiting for a sign. This is it
(28:03):
now that's going to change until you do, so, go
to mantalityhealth dot com, Slash radio and take your life
back today.
Speaker 6 (28:10):
Here are your headlines from the Midwesterner this Monday, June
twenty third. I'm Robin Hoffman. It's a Midwesterner dot new's
original story here in Michigan, US Customs and Border Patrol
agents nabbing seven illegal aliens from Mexico, Guatemala, and one
special interest alien from China. All will be processed for
(28:31):
removal from our state. Speaker Matt Hall says House Republicans
visiting the White House to help implement President Trump's agenda.
Hall leading a delegation of forty Republicans to the White
House to deepen the relationship between Lansing and Washington. President
Trump says on his Truth social page that monumental damage
(28:53):
was done to all nuclear sites in Iran over the weekend,
as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term
explanation point, the President writes. For these stories and more,
visit the Midwesterner at the Midwesterner dot news.
Speaker 2 (29:15):

(30:38):
Vice President over the weekend on the Sunday shows. And
yes they even have a clip to the msdn C
says they were impressed by it all. But here is
the VP laying it out for the folks on meat
the depressed over there is the United States now at
war with Iran.
Speaker 12 (30:57):
No, Kristen, We're not at war with Iran. We're with
Iran's nuclear program. And let me just say Kristen that
we're incredibly grateful and proud of the American Air Force
pilots who did an incredible job last night. The operation
was really extraordinary. These guys flew from Missouri, they didn't
land a single time. They dropped thirty thousand pound bombs
(31:19):
on a target the size of a washing machine, and
then got back home safely without ever landing in the
Middle East or ever stopping other than to briefly refuel.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
And of course they did that in the air.
Speaker 12 (31:32):
So it's really an incredible operation, a testament to the
power of American military, and I think what shows what
can happen when you have that great American military in
the hands of capable presidential leadership. What we did is
we destroyed the Iranian nuclear program. I think we set
that program back substantially, and we did it without endangering
(31:52):
the lives of the American pilots. That's an incredible thing,
and I think we all should be proud, whatever our politics,
we should be out of what these guys accomplished, a
very very high impact mission under a lot of pressure.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
Yeah, Trumps, that make America or excuse me, make Iran
great again? What does that mean? Mega Mega. What does
that mean? Well, as laid out particularly in the post
on truth social make Iran great again and what he
says essentially, I don't think it has anything to do
(32:26):
with and so maybe a little clouding, a little trolling
of some of his opponents, But you know, it's kind
of interesting. I noted this to me anyway. It seems
like he's calling on the people of Iran to stand
up and take the country back. If your leaders aren't
going to take care of you, if they're not going
to make your country great, maybe you need to do that.
(32:46):
See it's not politically correct to use a term regime, James,
but if the current Ranian regime is unable to make
Iran great again, why wouldn't there be a regime change?
And then he goes on to say Mega. Now, I
don't think it, don't get it twisted. He's not saying
that he wants to go on a game, but he
he's calling on the people there to make that happen.
So that very interesting point. Kathy's on the phone back
(33:08):
on for another quick call. Kathy, good morning, you're on
West miskan Live.
Speaker 13 (33:12):
Good morning. My point it has to do with the
statement mister Trump made last week that Carolyn Levitt put
out it said I will make my decisions within two weeks.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
It was within two weeks, right, Yeah.
Speaker 13 (33:32):
And so people are saying that mister Trump lied or
he well an essence used English to trick them.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Well, you know, the Bible says you gotta be as
shrewd as serpents, as wise as does right, so that's
so he will. Yeah, thank you, Kathy. I appreciate the
phone call. Very good point. So the question about this
now is what happens next. A lot of people out
there wringing their hands, Oh my gosh, they're gonna get us,
and talking about all the Iranian sleeper cells that are
(34:01):
in the country, this, that and the other thing. I
hope those same people that were out protesting the other
day on the King's Day were just as concerned then
when they were in the streets worried about Iranian sleeper ses.
I don't think they were. I'm not saying that we
shouldn't be concerned or aware the Biden administration. Let you know,
thousands of people in I think fifteen hundred for rent,
(34:23):
seven hundred of them were released and maybe even I
think folks of interest. So I'm not exactly sure, you know,
at level we need to be aware and concerned of,
but I am telling it is something that I do
take seriously personally. Yeah, I don't really like big crowds anyway.
But here's what Vice President Advance is about it.
Speaker 12 (34:45):
We're prepared for is if they attack us in a
maximal direction. First of all, we have got maximum defensive posture.
I think that we're going to be able to defend
as many of our people as possible. And of course
i'd encourage Americans to pray for our guys in the
Middle East, because yes, they are under a significant amount
of duress and a significant amount of threat right now.
But then, of course, John, if the Iranians attack us,
(35:06):
they're going to be met with overwhelming force.
Speaker 6 (35:08):
And I don't think the President.
Speaker 12 (35:09):
Could be clear about this. If you look at what
we did yesterday, John, we did not attack the nation
of Iran. We did not attack any civilian targets. We
didn't even attack military targets outside of the three nuclear
weapons facilities that we thought were important to accomplish our
goal of preventing I Ran from having a nuclear weapon.
So how Iran responds, I think is Ultimately the ball
(35:32):
is in their court. But if you look at what
we did, it was very precise, very narrowly tailored to
our objective. And if the Iranians decide to expand this,
then that's ultimately their decision, and the President of the
United States will respond in kind.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
So a couple of these pieces so that I think
are interesting. The other point that I wanted to also
talk about is it today we're hearing about are they
going to shut down the Strait of hermoves? And the
question is why would they do that? Now, the parliament voted,
They're any in parliament voted to do this. But the
stats and the numbers that I've seen are pretty staggering.
(36:08):
The United States only gets five percent of its oil
through the Strait of for Moose, okay, and that's not
a lot. Question is what might that do to gas prices?
What they're already called it jumping as it is anyway,
But I'll tell you why they're not gonna do this.
This is just a bluff, and I mean, if they do,
it's not gonna last long. And I'll tell you why.
(36:29):
China gets fifty percent five zero according to the stat
I ren, I guess will verify and fact check that.
Maybe Adam could do that real quick. Let me see, Adam,
can you check this? Is it fifty percent? China gets
fifty percent of their oil through the Strait of for Moose.
See if you can look that up, just to make sure.
(36:50):
But I believe that's it. So if they do that,
that'll effectively shut China down. And these guys the ran
once China's partners China, so that they're not gonna shut
their own partner down. Not not at least not as
I see it. But something to think about. All of
(37:10):
that could happen. We could see those moves made, but
I just tell you why, I don't think that's like
we got more in the after show. We're not gonna
have time to cover it all, never do during the
full program. And that's why we created the after show,
the fastest starting radio flying by and of course love
to love to have a conversation. When you join us
(37:31):
SORE with Facebook, Twitter, act Rum will get our locals
YouTube justin Barkley dot com or wherever you download the

Speaker 13 (37:51):
Give us or group amen,
