Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Love come mad.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Holy moly, what at the last week or so, it's
been just been a wild huh, especially the weekend. Uh
news never stops and even fill in for going back
last week. I make that point. You know, if you
were here, you heard it it. You know, just used
(00:29):
to be this timing. Your things would sort of slow
to a bit of a halt. Yeah, in time to
catch your breath. Oh that's not the case anymore. If
you unplugg good for you. But we'll bring up to
speak today.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Hang on, here we go.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Who's weather and traffic?
Speaker 4 (00:45):
I won his stories of the day.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
We were talking about what matters most in West Michigan
and beyond.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
This is the big three. Now say speak.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Three all right, the stories that matter most, the ones
you're gonna hear around the water, cool, the dinner table,
no matter where you are. We're talking about these throughout
the day, and of course love to make sure you're
up to speed on him as well. Our good friends
at Heartland Home Mortgage, Dave Gataway and the team. As
we're watching rates come back down sort to where they
(01:16):
maybe we should see him or want to see them.
I know it's kind of slowly, but surely, and people
are already starting to save. In fact, if you reach
out to Dave, he might be able to well, he
might be able to point you in the right direction.
Tell you whether you wait or maybe now's the time
HHM lending dot com. Whether you want to buy refly
home equity line of credit. We've done all three. We
saved thousands. So many other from this program have done
(01:39):
the same thing. We tell you each and every time
we talk about these guys. They're faster, better than the
big banks, and of course freedom focused like you, so
God bless us a good friends. Dave Gataway at HHM
lending dot com. Yes, what a weekend it was. Trump
out there nuking the Biden legacy all together. Did you
(02:00):
hear the latest in the order on the auto pen
in all the orders signed with the autopen And you
have to wonder, yeah, the pardons too, who's involved? Does
that mean fauci?
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (02:13):
You know up effect of the meta is and you
know the science and the data you're s in science
and the data on the autopen, Trump says, any document
signed by sleepy Joe Biden with the autoban, approximately ninety
two percent of them null and void, hereby terminated no
(02:35):
further force or effect. The autopen is not allowed to
be used as if approved is not or if approval
is not specifically given by the President of the United States.
And there's some question as to that. So what's the
fallout of this massive news Ye remains to be seen.
We'll be talking about that today. But wait, there's more.
(02:55):
Trump making his case for pausing immigration over the weekend.
And yes, he says, look, all the third world countries,
all those places that people are coming in, You're you're
gonna have to, uh, You're gonna have to put a
pause on it, put a pen in that, especially after
what happened last week, the horrific attack on those National
(03:17):
Guard members. Of course one dead, one still remains in
critical condition or our prayers continue for a recovery and
healing there. And uh, he just posts the immigration the
National Act section on his true social online and Afghan
National Well this is a different one, not the same
(03:40):
one we were learning. Uh, we're learning about that guy,
by the way, and how he was radicalized. In fact,
they say he was radicalized here. Meanwhile, another one in
Fort Worth Texas busted. I want to kill everyone, he says,
I'm building it, talking about building a bomb. I'm going
going to kill you if you're in Dallas. That's the
(04:03):
case he makes, and bust it online in the latest
you can see in the stack today at justin Barkley
dot com. But snow maybe the biggest story for us
here locally. It certainly was over the weekend as we
got dump dog. Depending upon where you're at now, Like
my neck of the woods, wasn't that bad? Maybe six inches,
(04:25):
maybe a little bit more. Some folks saying over a foot,
and some folks in the up saying much much much more,
but they're used to that sort of thing. Looks like,
turns out we've got even more on the way today,
ten inches or more on the lake shore. Adam and
the producer's boost shaking his head. Who said the s word?
(04:46):
Somebody said it early, somebody put the Christmas tree up
Earli or something. I think that's probably it's probably who's
to blame for all of this, But you know, look
it is, Yeah, tis the season anyway, right, It's that
time of year in Michigan. We're used to it, and
it's here, folks buckle up. You want to join the program,
(05:07):
you can at any time. Meanwhile, stick with us for
the latest updates on the weather, how it impacts your
drive wherever you are. Again, I don't I don't think.
I I guess I have to say this because you
know it's sort of the beginning of the season anyway.
Just take a little bit of extra time, go slow,
give yourself and everybody else a little bit of grace
on the roads, and I think we'll all get to
(05:28):
where we need to get.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Called Justin now at six one six seven seven twenty
four twenty four. That's six one six seven seven for
twenty four twenty four West Michigan Live with Justin Barclay
on News Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one oh six
nine a f M.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, I've felt great filling in for Glenn. That was
an honor and privilege. As always, if you missed it,
that show up at Justin Barklay dot com. The iHeartRadio
app wherever you download your podcast is search to Glenn
back programming. You'll be able to get it and uh
and listen to all three hours some great conversations and
in fact, we got more that we'll dig into today.
(06:05):
Coming up Renne Boudreaux from Great Lakes Gun Rights. He's
gonna be talking about the latest out of Michigan in
this attack on the Second Amendment, which again you know this,
it never stops. This, this is never stops. And the
latest comes straight out of the office of Gretchen Whitmer.
(06:28):
So we'll we'll talk about that a little bit later on.
You'll have a full details. Plus I don't know if
you went out Black Friday shopping. I did a little
bit online a little I think we did a little
bit like locally, we did some shopping at different places
and that was Saturday, so we call it Black Friday.
(06:49):
But still this whole season, in fact, this week is
kind of still kind of in that in that matter,
it's it's become a whole month now. But anyway, there
was lots of it. We've got some videos that we
I'd have to play for you a little bit that
we got to get to a little bit later on
as well, and more from the President. As as you
(07:09):
may have seen or heard over the weekend, there were
a number of different things that he briefed folks on this,
I believe coming back from mar A Lago, I think
This would have been yesterday on Air Force One. We
got a couple of big updates, a couple of pieces
of breaking news. Here's the latest on the condition of
Andrew Wolf, the staff sergeant twenty years was he twenty
(07:35):
twenty something odd years old? I mean just a kid?
They both were, really But here's the latest from the
president as he talks about what the family's revealed.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Can you get an I have spoken to both.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Families about the little bit of a delay.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Well, I mean I can give you an update that devastated.
Does that make sense to you? Or devastating?
Speaker 5 (08:00):
The only injury as well as you know, the one
is no longer with us. And Andrew is fighting for
his life. And his parents are unbelievably great people, highly
religious people, and they're praying and they want everybody to
pray for Andrew.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
And he has a chance to make it.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
But he's I mean, his mother and father, they were
so unbelievable, they were so positive from West Virginia, great state.
I spoke with Sarah Sparris do and the only thing
I can say they were devastated. They can't even believe it.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Answer, I can't imagine again, this is going to be
something that I think you're going to find will change
the country in so many ways. I don't think we've
yet to even know and hear all of the different
ways or even think about what will be happening. It's
going to massively impact. You saw you searched five hundred
(09:00):
National Guard into DC to protect again that area largely
really safe lately, and tell this latest attack it was
a terrorist attacker. There's no other way to look at it.
A man who was radicalized at one point working with
the CIA and the United States military in Afghanistan. Part
of that Biden debacle never should have been here because
(09:21):
the way things went there. This man finds himself here
and then we see that christinome over the weak. In fact,
I've got some of that talking about his radicalization that
happened here.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
It means get people out that are in our country, get.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Us talking about If you didn't hear that, reverse migration.
What do you think about reverse migration is get people
out of the country. That's what it means. It means
we're going to get them out. We're going to expedite
the process out a year.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
I want to get him out. We got a lot
of people in our country that shouldn't.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Be here, and they came in through Biden, and he
was the worst president of the history of our country.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
But the single biggest thing he did was.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
Allow million, the worst, allow millions of people into our
country that shouldn't be a drug dealers, prisons were opened
up and allowed to come into our country.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
You take a look at the people that were allowed
to come into our country.
Speaker 6 (10:15):
We're paying a big price for it, and we will
for years to come, including the recent killer of two
wonderful National Guards people.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
And I'll tell you what.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
That animal should not have been allowed to come into
our country.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah, just a tip of the iceberg. Unfortunately, this is
the problem. Just a tip of the iceberg on this.
And unfortunately this doesn't even this doesn't even begin to
scratch the surface. Did you hear about what's happening in
(10:51):
Minnesota right now, all the some MOLLI fraud. They're finding
out how much money has been brought in and of course,
well this this, this is your taxpayer money being paid
out to these people, and and at record clips. Then
they take the money and they send it back overseas
to terrorists. What a what a story? Tim Walls, the
(11:16):
corrupt governor of Minnesota is involved with this. And by
the way, the back and forth with Tim Walls and
President Trump over the weekend has been something as well.
We'll share a little bit of about a name calling,
but there's there. There's a name that Tim Walls hasn't
been called yet, and I think I think we ought
to call Spader Spader in this situation. It's probably the
word we're looking for is criminal. So it happened under
(11:40):
his watch. He's allowed it, and I don't think any
of those politicians in Minnesota were in the dark on
any of this.
Speaker 7 (11:45):
You said that you might denaturalize some Americans basins.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I mean people that aren't here, that shouldn't be here.
Speaker 8 (11:53):
They became Americans.
Speaker 6 (11:55):
Say yeah, if we have criminals that came into our country,
and you would naturalize, maybe throw a biten with somebody
that didn't know what they were doing. If I have
the power to do, I'm not sure that I do,
but if I do, I would be naturalized.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Episolutely saying.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
So there you hear that. There's also talk about somebody
like il Han Omar who may get the boot as well,
and she's a sitting member of Congress. Fascinating in conversation
right now. I'll try and piece together what that looks
like coming up here in just a little bit. But
here's the big one. How long does your administration planned
to pause asylum? He talks about this his audio only
(12:34):
on the plane, no video from this, but this is
part of that trip on air force.
Speaker 8 (12:38):
Wee our administration made.
Speaker 9 (12:39):
A lot of moves throughout the last few days after
we know that Afia national is the suspected shooter of
these national guardsmah.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Yeah, the people that you'd be in our Gunjia this one.
Speaker 8 (12:49):
So you announced that asylum and.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
That includes Somalians and include plenty of others.
Speaker 9 (12:55):
How long does your administration plan to pause asylum into
the US?
Speaker 2 (12:59):
I think a long time?
Speaker 8 (13:00):
Can you can you give any kind of we.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Don't want those people. We have enough problems. We don't
want those people.
Speaker 8 (13:05):
Is that a year? Two years?
Speaker 5 (13:07):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (13:08):
No time limit? And then it could be a long time.
You said that we don't want those people.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
Do you understand that?
Speaker 8 (13:14):
You understand that, I understand?
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Who are you with?
Speaker 8 (13:16):
I'm a newstation, that's.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Right right. Let me just tell yourself we don't want
those people. Does that make sense?
Speaker 6 (13:23):
You know why we don't want them because many have
been no good and they shouldn't be in our country.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Yeah, he was feisty coming back on the plane.
Speaker 8 (13:30):
Wasn't he? I mean by those people?
Speaker 6 (13:32):
Can you plan from different countries that are not friendly
to us? And countries that are out of control themselves,
countries like Somalia that have virtually no government, no military.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
No police. All they do is go around killing each other.
Speaker 6 (13:46):
Then they come into our country and tell us how
to run our country.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
We don't want them.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Yeah, what's interesting about We'll note here he just mentioned Somalia, right,
and on on. On top of all of this, there
is there's interesting developments in the plot again? Is it
things thicken here? The Minnesota Department of Human Service employees
(14:10):
have issued a statement on x Tim Walls is one
hundred percent responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. We let
Tim Walls know fraud early on, hoping for a partnership
and stopping fraud, but no, we got the opposite response.
Tim Walls systematically retaliated. It's a different R word used
with Walls lately retaliated against whistle blows, blowers, using monitoring threats, repression,
(14:36):
and did his best to discredit fraud reports. Instead of partnership,
we got full weight of retaliation by Tim Walls, certain
DFL members and an indifferent mainstream media. It's scary, isolating
and left us wondering who can we turn to again.
The Minnesota Department of Human Service employees account on x
(14:59):
sharing that out the story is I think just heating up.
You're you're just beginning to get the surface scratched on
all of this and in it paints a very dire picture.
And we'll talk to you coming up here just a
minute as well. If you want to hit the iHeartRadio app,
just click that microphone button next to the play button
(15:22):
and let it rip. Sound off, rant, rave, comment, complain, concern,
all of it back after this on West Michigan Line.
Speaker 1 (15:33):

Speaker 1 (17:04):
It's West Michigan Live with Justin Barklay on news Radio

am and on demand anytime on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 10 (17:13):
Hearing your headlines from the Midwesterner this Monday, December first time,
Robin Poffman, it's a Midwesterner dot news original story. We
begin this Monday with the governor's gun grab. Gretchen Whitmer's
task force recommending an assault weapons ban an increased concealed
carry restrictions here in Michigan. This contradicts an FBI report
which finds that handguns are the primary weapon used in
(17:36):
mass shootings. Now, prior to the holiday, the governor spotted
handing out holiday food. I'm writing it turkey, literally putting
frozen turkeys in cars. The video turning up on her
ex page. Hi, eppy Thanksgiving, and parts of Michigan already
looking and feeling a lot like winter with snow and ice.
Speaker 9 (17:54):
Holy cow, we got dumped on in Thursday and it
just hasn't really slowed down.
Speaker 10 (18:00):
The National Weather Service has issued a winter stormwatch for
three Michigan counties along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Up to
ten inches of snow possible today. For these stories and more,
visit the midwestern Er at the Midwesterner dot new.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
You just heard that story they're coming after them again.
Bright she's you thought she thought she was on her
way out, Gretchen Wentmer, coming after one last claw at
your your guns and why this whole thing makes absolutely
no sense unless you realize how radical they really are.
Brendan Boudreau, Great Lakes gun Lights joins us. Coming up
(18:34):
after this, we'll get into that. More on the story
with Tim Walls and that fraud that's been uncovered, plus
war with Venezuela. Could that be on the horizon, the
latest from this weekend, and more. Boy trying to catch
up with as much as possible and do it as
efficiently and as effectively as possible. At the same time,
back in this moment's checking our body, our news, back
(18:59):
at it and better than ever. Over the holiday, what
a wonderful time to get together with family and whether
it's tree lightings or family fun, maybe you're playing football
in the backyard. It's kind of tough to do that,
and we got a lot of snow on the ground. Yeah,
you could still do it Thanksgiving not and that's too
much though for that. We could have done a little
bit more of that on Thanksgiving. Whatever it is that
you're doing, you're running after your kids. Like we are,
(19:21):
things are really starting to heat up this season. Wouldn't
you like to just enjoy it more? The folks at
the Good Feed Store would love to help you be
able to do that. That's right, do everything in comfort.
Whether you're at work or play, it doesn't matter. They've
helped me, and I can tell you they're going to
help you too. At the Good Feed Store. You walk
into a couple of locations, one Grand Rapids twenty eighth Street,
(19:44):
right in front of costco or in Portage on Westage
in front of Coals. But walk in and see what
it's like for yourself, whether you're a nurse and you're
on your feet all day, you're a mom or a
grandma and you got to chase after those kids, you
know what I mean. Find out how good it can
feel to just live your life again with the Good
Feet Store. Brad first up on the air, and then
(20:05):
we're getting to Brendan Boudreaux, Great Legs, Gun Rights. And
while everybody was sort of under a Turkey coma, Governor
Whitmer decided she was going to try something sneaky. While
you were trying to stuff the bird. She was trying
to stuff something down our throats will explain what that
is coming up in just a moment. Your Second Amendment
(20:28):
rights in threat. Brad, Good morning, Welcome in in Rockford.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Today, Cord justin.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Hey, I was listening to that clip a President Trump
on Air Force one.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
I've never heard a king or a fascist ever question
whether or.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Not they had the authority to do something.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
That's kind of strange, has the.
Speaker 6 (20:51):
Right to do that.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
You know, that's a very good point. They threaten and
they constantly complain, this guy's a fascist, and then he'll
say things lucky you and I don't know if I
could do that or are not before Well, that's the
other thing too, is you see them like particularly in
d C where they're protests. We got a bunch of
(21:13):
clips I got to get to a little bit later
on from Black Friday and some insane folks on the
street in New York City and some other places, radical
anti ice protesters clashing this weekend.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
And you know, part of the claim is that these
guys are they're fascist, and you know some of the
things that they're doing are you know, they they they're
they're kings, and that's that's that's it's just nonsense, because
you wouldn't be able to make that argument. You wouldn't
be able to be out protesting. And in fact, I
think these people are even worse some of the things
that they're doing. Uh Ant, you wouldn't be able to
do that if if you were. That's a great point
(21:47):
this morning, Brad. Appreciate the phone call in Rockford, UH
six twenty four if you want to jump in and
join the program today from Great Lakes, gun Rights are good. Friend.
Brendan Boudreau with the latest over the weekend. Like I said, well,
we were sort of lulled into a turkey coma Whitmer
a turkey herself, decides to stuff this nonsense down our gull.
(22:09):
It's the latest, folks just heard about with the report
from the Midwesterner today. Yeah, Phillis in Man. There was
so much going on last week. I wanted to make
sure we got to this, so I'm glad we could
do it today.
Speaker 11 (22:20):
Yeah, good morning, justin yeah, just in time for the holidays.
Governor Whitmer decides to reveal her next gun grab, and
of course you know it's it's for our health. That's
that's the new building and this is nothing new gun
grabbers across the country. The Biden administration try to take
the the anti gun agenda.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Uh.
Speaker 11 (22:41):
You know, you can go to any of these gun
control group's websites. Uh, just copy and paste and say
this is for public health. And that's exactly what the governor,
Whitmer's and v ajhs did here. You know, they took
the gun the anti gun agenda and said, well, now
this is for this for public health. You know how
long ago was it ago? Just five years ago now
(23:03):
where the governor was declaring all sorts of emergency edicts
from the Governor's office for for the sake of our health.
Now you know, now she's got her new excuse if
you want to do anything by executive fiat. But even
more so, this is pretty clear what the Democrat agenda
is going to be in twenty twenty six. Uh they
if they take back complete control of Lansing.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
You know, it's interesting because this this this whole issue
of this public health threat. We we've since like that,
we've seen this come in a few years back, and
remember talking about this specifically. I mean, this isn't anything new,
is it.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
No?
Speaker 11 (23:45):
This is this is uh, this is something a play
that they've been trying for years. Uh, you know, the Democrats,
either the Biden administration Whitmer We've seen in other states.
They'll create these gun violence prevention task force forces, and
and they'll get all these supposed healthcare experts and uh,
psychologists and all these other various uh, you know, social
(24:08):
social worker degrees and all these other types of experts,
and they'll basically cook up for themselves an agenda that includes, unsurprisingly,
every single thing that the that the gun band agenda wants,
you know, assault weapons bands, magazine bands. Uh. Now in Michigan,
they want to make it make it so that if
(24:28):
you have a CPL concealed a pistol license, you have
to go through two background checks in order to purchase
a firearm. They're calling that a loophole that if you
have a CPL, you can go buy a gun without
having to go through another background check. So, you know,
this is just more of the more of the same
from this administration. Of course, they use the horrific shooting
at Michigan State to run through red flag gun confiscation,
(24:51):
universal permitted to purchase, and the medatory storage laws. But
that's never enough, you know, that's they're never satisfied. You know,
if if you ask ask an anti gun democrat, of course,
that's kind of repeating myself nowadays. Uh, you know, if
you ask a Democrat if there's a form of gun
control that they want to support, you're just going to
get blanks. Stare at them because they support our reform
(25:11):
and fashion of gun control.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Uh.
Speaker 11 (25:13):
There there is not a version of gun control that
they they would not support this point, and all we
have to do is look at you know, their claims.
On its face, well, we're not going after law binding
gun owners, We're just going after criminals. Yet look at
so many of these proposals they are squarely aimed at
law body gun owners here in Michigan.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yeah, what's what's wild about this too? As you mentioned,
it's kind of like they're this this latest assault weapon,
which again is a whole weird thing in itself. Explain
what that is? Tell us what that is? Yeah, well,
you know, just weapons they don't like, they look, they
look scary. Is that is that? What if?
Speaker 4 (25:54):
What if?
Speaker 11 (25:55):
Well, you know, there's there's this there's a great clip
of bid binding to the a c F who was
asked to find an assault weapon and he couldn't and
he said, well, I'm not an expert. It's like, well,
if you who are trying to be the you know,
the head of the ACF can't describe or define what
the assault weapon is, then who then who defines what
it is? And of course what it is.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (26:16):
Their their goal is to ban semi automatic firearms, you know,
and that includes uh, you know, hey, michigan ers, that
includes your honeting rifles.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
Uh.
Speaker 11 (26:25):
You know, there's there's a meme that I saw, you know,
a couple of years ago, says they're not going to
ban your Honting rifles. They're going to call a sniper
rifle first, and then dam it. That's that's what they do.
They play games with terms and and then phrases and
they make it sound scary and then they ban it.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
What do folks need to do? I mean, obviously people,
lots of folks in this audience support you guys and
have been for a long time. Great Lakes Gun Rights
the website Great Lakesgun Rights dot org. Brennan the founding
founder and executive director. There you guys are pushing for.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
I would say a common sense approaches for the legislature
to consider what I think most folks here in Michigan
would consider, like I said, common sense, But unfortunately nowadays
we don't see a lot of it's not as common
as we as we'd like to see. But what what
what are the ways that folks see I'm obviously speak up,
(27:24):
you know, call these are all the things we're used to.
But what particularly do people need to know and do
about this? This? This?
Speaker 11 (27:30):
Yeah, I think I think people need to look at
the twenty twenty sixth election cycle and see what's really
on at risk in twenty twenty six. The Democrats in
twenty twenty three, after winning in the twenty twenty two
election with a single seat majority in the House and
you know, one or two seat majority and the Senate
ram through red flag gun confiscation, universal commit's purchase. Well,
(27:52):
what do you think they're going to do if they
get complete control and lancing in twenty twenty six? Again,
they've made it clear with this DAHHS document, And you
need to realize that even though Joscelyn Benson didn't you know,
didn't come out sharing this report necessarily, you better believe
she subscribes to it.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Same thing with Mike Duggan.
Speaker 11 (28:11):
You know somehow is he somehow he's an independent now,
but he's a Democrat that's you know, subscribed to the
Democrat talking points on guns as far as I can tell.
So and realize that if they get complete control again
in twenty twenty six, this will be their agenda. Gun bans,
magazine vans, more gun free zones, and make it harder
(28:32):
for you to defend yourself and your families. And frankly
should be a wake up call for the Republican Party
of Michigan too that now is not the time to
come and fear. Now is the time to stand boldly
for something, to stand up for the Second Amendment that
they all campaign on, and realize that there's a lot
at risk in this next election cycle. You know, I'm
(28:53):
not one to say this is the most important election
of our of our lifetimes, but boy, this one seems
pretty heavy for the future of our state. We're seeing
what you know, the left is doing to states like Virginia.
You know, they're they're loaded for bear Democrats. They are
probably going to be going from assault weapons ban next
year at not worse. Uh And and we've.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Seen what they did in Colorado, and.
Speaker 11 (29:14):
They're going to run the same playbook here in Michigan
if we're not prepared for it, so people in need
paying attention, be very involved in twenty twenty six is
not a cycle to take off.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
You know, you're You're absolutely right, Brennan, what I've been saying.
And I'll just I'll just get your take on this.
But like as important as twenty twenty four was for
the rest of the country, that's what I'm I'm I
consider the significance for Michigan in twenty twenty six. I
mean it's just it's it's the chance to get things
(29:46):
back on track here. And if we're not serious about it,
I mean this, we could lose a state for decades.
Speaker 11 (29:55):
Yeah, I mean that's that's absolutely true. And and that's
that's a sad fact, is that you know, we all
want to raise our families here. We want to you know,
we love Michigan. There's a reason that we're here. But
you know, if we take this next election off and
you look at twenty twenty two, what happened then twenty eighteen,
it's it's been a disastrous few elections cycles from Michigan.
I mean, thank the Lord, we have this brief reprieve
(30:17):
here when divided government in Michigan. But you know, we
need to make sure that we're shown up with our
a game in twenty twenty six, and that includes the activists,
you know, to make sure that you know, we're getting
to find out where these politicians really stand on these issues,
and that we're also holding you know, discipline starts at home.
We should expect conservatives and Republicans who are running for
(30:39):
office to take fold stances in support of our right
to keep bear arms, and Republicans should not take owners
for granted on that. You know, we've had Republicans here
in Michigan the last few years vote for gun control.
That's inexcusable and we should expect more from them, especially
in the face of the danger that we're facing with
the new face of the anti anti gun Democratic Party.
(31:00):
You know, they're coming for it all and we need
to be prepared for that.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Hey, great question over on Getner from Dan who says
has Great Lakes gun Rights endorsed a candidate for governor
or will you do that at some point?
Speaker 11 (31:15):
We have not, you know, we are it's very early
in the process here, but what you can start doing
is look at the records of the people that are running.
You know, for example, you've got Tom Leonard, he was
former Speaker of the House in the Michigan House of Representatives.
He's the only Speaker of the House who brought constitutional
carry up for a vote back in twenty seventeen, where
it passed. You know, we are one one chamber away
(31:37):
and the governor's signature away from from removing the requirement
to have a permit to carry concealed or open in
the state of Michigan. There are now twenty nine states
that have that as well in the books, and Tom
Leonard pushed out through the House. Eric Nesbitt, he's co
sponsored constitutional carry in the Senate and he voted against
all the gun control since he's been the Senate minority leader.
(32:00):
You know, John James, he's been a mixed veg. You know,
he returned our national survey before, but he's been quite
more quiet and mum on the gun issue of late,
and that has us concern if you're running for the
Republican nomination these quote unquote pro gun party, and you
can't seem to mention anything about the governor's anti gun
(32:21):
agenda that she just released last week. That's problematic, and
that's that's the concern. If the candidates are remaining quiet
about what Governor Whitmer just said last week, that's a tell.
That's a tell that they see the gun rights issue
as non important or at worse, they see it as
something they don't want to deal with. So that's where
it's important for us, as you know, a great Leags
(32:41):
gun Rights. We're going to be surveying all these candidates
and find out where they stand on these issues, and
we're asking them also the pledge that they're they're going
to work to repeal Whitmer's gun control regime and they're
going to actively work to restore our rights here because
it's not enough just to pay lib service. We got
to see action.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Yeah. Brendan Boudreau, founder and executive director, Great Legs Gun Right.

Here are your headlines from the Midwestern or this Monday,
December First, I'm Robin Poffman. It's a Midwesterner dot News
original story.
Speaker 12 (34:49):
To be honest, the President's reaction and the use of
the FBI against us is exactly why we made the video.
Speaker 10 (34:56):
The FBI investigating all the Democrats, including Michigan's Melysseslockin, who
appear in that video urging members of the military to
disregard orders. Senator Slockin no fan of President Trump reacting.
Speaker 12 (35:09):
This is a scare tactic by him. He is attempting
to use the FBI to scare us out of continuing
to talk and have conferences like this.
Speaker 10 (35:20):
In other news, our Democrat governor added again another gun
grab to tell you about here in Michigan. Gretchen Whitmer's
task force recommending an assault weapons ban and increase concealed
carrier restrictions. Here in Michigan, For these stories and more,

Speaker 8 (35:51):
Day for your audience.
Speaker 7 (35:53):
Perfectly, Sean, this was not a loophole. The Bodom Administration
Secretary of Homelandsecurity Aljandra Majorkis devised a scheme to fly
illegal aliens into the country and then to escort them
in mass across the border by the millions, and to
give them something known as parole, which gives them a
work permit, which gives them which gives them a Social
(36:16):
Security number, which gives them access to the voting booth.
This was the plan all along, to get them here
illegally so they can get free government benefits, get hooked
to welfare, and be able to participate in American elections.
This was an attack on democracy by the Democrat Party.
It's the same attack that we see, Sean, when you
(36:36):
have California, a sanctuary state that is refusing to turn
over even illegal alien criminals and gang members to ICE.
So these are illegal aliens in California who have been
arrested by California police, by California law enforcement for serious crimes,
for crimes against children, for felonies, for crimes that threat
(36:57):
in public safety. And they are refused to hand these
criminal illegal aliens over to ICE. Instead, they're freeing them
back into the cities to offend again.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
There's no other way to take this in the simmer
and maybe they want them here for a reason. Why
why By the way, it all goes back to this
big election integrity story that we have coming up. We're
going to get into that with Pack Collbeck on the way.
But again it's making massive not just national, international headlines,
and it does it it centers around Venezuela, which is
(37:27):
in the talks right now, is war with Venezuela on
the horizon. We're going to tell you what the big
connection is there the thread and if you've been paying attention,
we got new information on this. Pack Collbeck will weave
through it and talk to you about it and pull
that thing out. And you know, when you start pulling threads,
fun things start happening. Michigan catching been caught here, caught
(37:48):
allowing non citizens to register to vote with no social
Security numbers, no checks, no social Security number required. Part
of the election integrity conversation.
Speaker 13 (37:59):
Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Unemployment Agency.
People can simply check a box saying that they are eligible,
and in most cases that is enough to start receiving benefits.
There's only four pieces of information that are required a
first name, last name, and address, and an alien number
only if that person self identifies as a non citizen.
(38:21):
No social Security number is required even if someone claims
to be a citizen.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
This Rep. Jason Woolford, by the way, from how.
Speaker 13 (38:29):
I brought MDHHS before our committee. We pulled up the
website for benefits. We went through all twenty seven pages
and at the end we're given the opportunity to.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Speaker 13 (38:40):
We've got real waste, real fraud, and we're going to
get to the bottom of it. Michigan.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
This is again, this is the Michigan connection to it.
Pat Kullback will pull the curtain back and show you

hole a little bit later onto the after show today
