Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's going to be a heck of a riote. It's
like drinking from a fire hose. Never a dull moment.
But yes, you'll hear the stories you won't hear anywhere else,
and we appreciate you being here. What us form today,
I'm justin Barclay, all right. The stories that matter most folks.
We know what we know today, and what we know
(00:21):
is this, and it's only this. Charlie Kirk was assassinating
yesterday in a heinous act, one that you and I
will be talking about and many others for quite some
time to come. But the Utah Department of Public Safety
has spoken out this morning with some of the information
(00:42):
they know as well. I want to make sure that
you hear it straight from them, now that we have
our internet back up a little bit better. Anyway, listen
to what was said moments ago this morning.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
My name is Robert Bulls, and I am the Special
Agent in charge of the Salt Lake Field Office. Following
yesterday's tragic shooting of time Harley Kirk, FBI agents have
been working around the clock in coordination with our law
enforcement partners. We are and will continue to work NonStop
(01:11):
until we find the person that is committed this heinous
crime and find out why they did it. This morning,
I can tell you that we have recovered what we
believe is the weapon that was used in yesterday's shooting.
It is a high powered bolt action rifle. That rifle
was recovered in a wooded area where the shooter had fled,
(01:35):
So the FBI laboratory will be analyzing this weapon. Investigators
have also collected footwear impression, a palm print, and forearm
imprints for analysis. Now I understand there are a lot
of questions about motive. I assure you that all leads,
tips and tips are being fully investigated. As of this morning,
(01:58):
we received more than one hundred and third tips. We
thank the community for that. The FBI has brought every
resource to bear and we will continue to do so
throughout the course of this investigation.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
That was from the statement this morning. We'll have more
information coming up. In fact, some from the statement President
Trump made from the Oval office. As you heard that
that update this morning, for the folks on squawk boxes
said they'd spoken with him. He called the say congratulations
on thirty years, and had spoken a little bit about Charlie,
(02:32):
telling them that he was absolutely devastated. Jim Simpson is
on the line now. He reached out earlier and said
that we've had Jim on a number of times before.
He's no stranger to the program and author. And I think,
you know, Jim, when I see things like this, I
think of people like you, because I made the point
again today as I made yesterday, that look be careful
(02:52):
not to take debate because things like this happened, whether
it's foreign or domestic, wherever it's coming from from a
higher source, that they're they're constantly trying to tear us
apart as a people, as a nation again is fighting
against each other. I think color revolutions. I mean, I
think you're you know you're you're naive not to and
you had an interesting thought on this. It's one that
(03:13):
I've seen other places. So I think it's worth entertaining.
Some may be say say it's too soon, although we
don't have all the information about who is responsible in
this day and age, is the way things are, the
powder keg that we're sort of sitting on right now,
(03:34):
we ought to be aware.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Welcome in Jim, Yeah, a Justine, good morning. Uh Yeah,
yesterday was really a turning point I've been praying for
Charlie and his family. Is a devastating laws. He was
(03:55):
the most promising young leader of our movement in the
United States, and there was literally no one else like him.
He was a devout Christian, father, a husband of two
little children. You know, he's the example of the kind
(04:21):
of person we needed a leadership position in his country.
I mean, he was so articulate about all the issues
that we face. And I was privileged to meet him
once at an event a few years ago, and I
(04:43):
was on his show last year. He's brilliant and they
killed him. And I used the word they purposely precisely
(05:04):
because he was that. He was an effective leader. He
almost singlehandedly got the youth vote for President Trump by
going around the country as he has been, debating people,
openly debating people in a friendly manner, never being insulting
(05:25):
or demeaning towards anybody, but forcing them to think, forcing
them to defend their position, which, as you know, the
Left really can't defend their position. But I say they
because all of these things. You know, that was a
well planned assassination. Whoever it was the shooter, whether it
(05:54):
was an American of college age, that person had significant
practice and experience with rifles. You know, that's six hundred seat.
It's for a marksman, that's not that difficult of a shot,
(06:21):
but for anybody else it would be just a lucky hit.
And so they chose a marksman. Now, I have long
said that the Soviet sets naz the Soviet special forces
(06:45):
go to countries that they are targeting and deliberately create chaos,
assassinations of important leaders, and anything else they can do
to stir up hatred, division, controversy, fear. And we know
(07:08):
that the communist Chinese were involved with that during the
George Floyd riots. But all those riots, as with the
Thomas joined with the radical left riots that we've seen
(07:31):
around the country. These are all communists inspired. They are
all communists led, all of them, and they are not
communists led. They may be led by American communists, but
they are people who are in league with the international
(07:51):
communist movement, which continues to be led by Russia and China.
And so whoever was recruited to make that shot, that
was planned by many people. I think it was planned
for the many very moments when Charlie was speaking to
(08:14):
make a point and to attempt to silence him and
intimidate the rest of us. But it was a statement
showing just how curious and how determine the left is
(08:41):
to destroy our country, to destroy our American way of life.
This was their statement, we are after you. And the
people who planned this, the people who are behind this,
the media that magnifies the radical message and ignores the truth,
(09:09):
they're all guilty. They're all part of this massive movement
to take down our country. And I mean, as you know,
and if you've read in my latest book, Manufactured Crisis,
the War to End America, that's exactly what it is.
(09:31):
And I feared for a long time that something like
this would happen, was it almost did happen to President Trump.
These people have to be found and they have to
be prosecuted. And as a spokesman in the Utah government
said in Utah, they have the death penalty and this person,
(09:55):
whoever it is, could get nothing less than the death penalty,
whether he spills his guts about who is behind him
or not. And there were other people behind me. And
the other thing I'll say is how would they know
when he was about to say what he said, that
(10:18):
that would be the time to make the shot. They
would know because they had somebody on the inside in
the Kirk organization and the and that's true and has
been true for a long time throughout our government, throughout
important organizations. In fact, I think a lot of the
(10:40):
Republicans who deliberately sabotage our efforts at reform, I think
a lot of them are actually working for the other side,
either because they're compromised, or because they're part of the movement,
or because they're immoral people who are getting paid off
(11:02):
to do so.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Jim Simpson is with us right now. Hi, Jim, Jim,
just let me give you a moment. I want to
let you respond. There's some more information that's coming out now.
Jim's the author, by the way, a Manufactured Crisis, the
War to End America, and many others. In fact, we'll
talk more about that in a moment, but first, Stephen
Crowder has put forward this morning this latest done Acts
(11:26):
not too long ago exclusive. This morning, my team received
an email from an officer at the ATF. The email
included a screenshot from what appears to be an internal
message describing a weapon and cartridges located by an ATF
and other law enforcement near the scene of the Charlie
Kirk assassination Utah Valley State University. So what it says,
(11:49):
and we'll read through some of this, but i'll give
you the I'll give you the thumbnail first, right, which
is they found trends language on the case, very similar
to what happened in Minnesota. There were things written on
(12:10):
either the weapon itself or the just So here's what
the screen says. And if you look at the screen,
top of the screen says teams dot DOJ, dot gov.
And it looks like it is a screenshot of what
is probably some internal back and forth, just like almost
(12:30):
like a spreadsheet of updates. So here's what it says
at the top. On September tenth, twenty twenty five, approximately
twelve forty two pm, conservative political influencer Charlie Kirk was
shot dead and killed at the Utah Valley University in Orum, Utah.
Mister Kirk was speaking at the university as part of
the salt. We can skip through some of this and
give you this part. The suspect fired one shot from
(12:51):
an elevated position on a rooftop and an adjacent building
on the campus, and surveillance video shows a suspect jumping
off and fleeing the area on foot. ATF and other
law enforcement located on older model imported Mauser thirty six
caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a talent a wooded
area near the campus. Location of the firearm appears to
(13:14):
match the suspects through out of travel. The spent cartridge
was still chambered, in addition to three unspent rounds at
the top FED magazine. All cartries have engraved wording on
them expressing transgender and anti fascist ideology, and emergency trace
has been submitted an ATF SLC that probably Salt Lake
City is working leads generated by the trace. The firearm
(13:36):
and ammunition have been taken by the FBI for DNA
analysis and fingerprint impressions. Upon completion of forensics, the firearm
will be disassembled for additional importer information. Multiple people of
interest having contacted or detained because of eyewitness testimony and
review of video footage. The primary suspect is yet to
(13:58):
be identified. If it's assisting the investigation with multiple other federal, state,
and local partners, and the case is co led by
the FBI and the Utah SBI, that's that is what
is listed on the read out there, so we just
get your reaction to that.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Well, you know, it's very interesting that it has all
that trans language on it. That makes a lot of
sense because the idea behind this shooting is, you know,
that whole transactivism thing is the most divisive ideology that
(14:46):
the left has come up with yet, and that's why
they push it because it is so divisive, and it
is so hateful, and it is so thick, and and.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
It's activating, it's activating to the most ill of us.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
You know, yes, yes, but I guarantee you whoever did that,
whether they were a transactivist or not, which honestly I doubt,
I doubt. I think it's it's somebody who is a
professional shooter or somebody who at least has a lot
of experience with firearms. And you wouldn't, necessarily, I would say,
(15:27):
most of the time, expect a transactivist to be a
person of that caliber. Right, that was planted, that was
left there to be found, And I could even say
they could have left a gun there to be found
(15:50):
with a shot, you know, with one shot still in
the chamber and or one fired, you know, empty cartage
in the chamber, and a few more bullets in the
magazine from an old mauser that could even be planted
(16:11):
with the actual firearm. Yeah, taken somewhere else, grabbed as
this guy ran through the However, we escaped either one.
It could have happened because this was a thoroughly plan event,
(16:34):
and it was planned to find the most divisive subject
that they could and do it at that exact moment. Jim,
We also a lot of people behind this.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
We also have from the President this morning speaking at
the Pentagon the twenty fourth anniversary of September eleventh, this
recognition that they will honor Charlie Kurr work with the
presidential Before we begin.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Let me express the horror and grief so many Americans
at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk. I felt Charlie
was a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty,
and an inspiration to millions and millions of people. Our
(17:24):
prayers are with his wonderful wife, Eric and his beautiful children.
Fantastic people they are. We miss him greatly. Yet I
have no doubt that Charlie's voice and the courage he
put into the hearts of countless people, especially young people
(17:45):
will live on. I'm pleased to announce that I will
soon be awarding Charlie Kirk posthumously the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The date of the ceremony will be announced, and I
can only guarantee you one thing that we will have
a very big crowd, very very big.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
You can tell he is definitely impacted, devastated. I've heard
some folks say this.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Morning, oh yeah, by this news. Charlie Kirk was the
most effective folksman for MAGA movement there is in the
country which may be possible except the President himself.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Today is a very tough day. The heaviness is palpable,
not just with the anniversary of September eleventh, but also
Charlie's death, the assassination. It means a lot for the country. Jim,
you've written about this.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Yeah, let me add one more thing about that weapon.
They didn't say whether or not it had a scope
on it. If he had, if that weapon was the
one that had been used to has to have had
a very high power scope on it, because nobody would
take that chance. It's just iron sight. You know, I've
shot a thousand yards who with an iron sight done
(19:09):
and get the target after multiple misses with free spodders
telling me where to shoot. And I'm a pretty good shot,
So that had to have had a very powerful scope
on it. And if it didn't, and a mouse is
(19:29):
very good gun, by the way, and if it didn't,
then that wasn't the firearm that was used.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, Jim, I appreciate it. Again. I'm going to call
it for cooler heads to prevail here. I want folks
to know that no matter what we find out here,
I think we are at a turning point. It's our choice,
it's our responsibility where we go from here. You've written
extensively about this, why they're after us here in America,
what the cause is, and why they're trying to come
(19:58):
for us. I would just encourage people to get get
read up on this. James has written extensively about it,
and you can get in the books Manufactured Crisis, The
Word in America and the others. The best place for
them to reach out and maybe connect with you, Jim,
follow you and also get those books.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Well. Get the books indirectly from my website crisisnow dot net.
Crisisnow dot net that has links to the Amazon page
for most of my book for all for all of
my books. If they want to contact me personally, they
(20:42):
can contact my email Simpson dot Truth at gmail dot com.
And if they want to order a book, that way
I can send them a sign copy. I have to
charge a little more for the postage, but that's another
way they can get manufacturing crisis for any of my books.
(21:06):
But this was a planned event, and it was a
devastating event for our movement. But as many people have said,
they've just managed to magnify Charley's voice one hundred fold.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
I absolutely I couldn't agree more.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
Yeah, preasures for his family.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Jim, thank you so much. We appreciate you taking the
time and and weigh and n thank you.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
My friend, thank you justin you got it.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Very well informed and interesting guy. And I got to
tell you, like I said, author of several books on
this subject, and really you know that that lasted manufactured crisis.
We're to end America. I think that says it all.
And aren't we watching that? It's almost like the playbook
unfolding the circuses that every day one after the other.
(22:00):
Much worse. If the Biden administration would have marched on
or even Kamala in the in the years ahead, but
we're still they haven't given up. The people will want
to take us down. And and like I said, that's
that's many foreign and domestic and also an evil on
a whole different plane. So it's important to note as
(22:26):
we as we look forward it it will be tough,
but we must. We must fight on Lots of that
fight happens on our knees, folks, Lots of that fight
happens on our knees. All Right, I've got some things
(22:52):
that I want to share. There's folks going to be
sharing about Charlie and his memory throughout the day. I
think there's going to be lots of things that we're
going to see on the news. There's things that are
going to see on social media. I don't know what
you want to see, maybe the most President Trump made
a statement from the Oval Office last night. It's a
(23:13):
lengthy statement. I'll place some of it for you now
so that you can hear it again. We had that
update earlier. He is now announced that he will be
awarding Charlie with the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously at
a ceremony to be to be shared later.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
To my great fellow Americans, I am filled with grief
and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on
a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions in tonight.
All who knew him and loved him are united in
shock and horror. Charlie was a patriot who devoted his
(23:52):
life to the cause of open debate and the country
that he loved so much, the United States of America.
He fought for liberty, democracy, justice, and the American people.
He's a martyr for truth and freedom, and there has
never been anyone who was so respected by youth. Charlie
was also a man of deep, deep faith, and we
(24:16):
take comfort in the knowledge that he is now at
peace with God in Heaven. Our prayers are with his wife, Erica,
the two young beloved children, and his entire family, who
he loved more than anything in the world. We ask
God to watch over them in this terrible hour of
heartache and pain. This is a dark moment for America.
(24:41):
Charlie Kirk traveled the nation, joyfully engaging with everyone interested
in good faith debate. His mission was to bring young
people into the political process, which he did better than
anybody ever, to share his love of country, The simple
words of common sense on campuses nationwide. He championed his
(25:06):
ideas with courage, logic, humor, and grace. It's a long
past time for all Americans and the media to confront
the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence
of demonizing those with whom you disagree, day after day,
year after year, in the most hateful and despicable way possible.
(25:28):
For years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful
Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world's worst mass
murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible
for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country today,
and it must stop right now. My administration will find
(25:53):
each and every one of those who contributed to this
atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that
funded and support it, as well as those who go
after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who
brings order to our country. From the attack on my
(26:13):
life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband
and father, to the attacks on ice agents, to the
vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of
New York, to the shooting of House Majority leader Steve
Scalise and three others. Radical left political violence has hurt
too many innocent people and taken too many lives. Tonight
(26:37):
I asked all Americans to commit themselves to the American
values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died the values
of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law, and the
patriotic devotion and love of God. Charlie was the best
of America, and the monster who attacked him was attacking
(26:58):
our whole country. An assassin tried to silence him with
a bullet, but he failed because together we will ensure
that his voice, his message, and his legacy will live
on for countless generations to come. Today because of this
heinous act, Charlie's voice has become bigger and grander than
(27:19):
ever before, and it's not even close. May God bless
his memory. May God watch over his family, and may
God bless the United States of America.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Thank you, President Trump's statement from the Oval last night.
Charlie Kirk won. Why he does what he does. I
think it's even more poignant on a daylight today is
when people stop talking. That's when the fighting starts.
Speaker 5 (27:46):
I go around universities and have challenging conversations, because that's
what is so important to our country. It is to
find our disagreements respectfully, because when people stop talking, that's
when violence happened.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I've never seen someone jus.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
Well, it's a growing trend because people like me are
facing violence, assaults, the left, the thing, yes, the campus, Antifa.
I've been stormed out of restaurants. I've been assaulted publicly,
multiple death threats.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Okay, so what's your valued.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
There's more people that agree with me than some people
would actually believe, and they come out of the woodwork
when I do stuff like this. We recoire all of
it so that we put on the internet so people
can see these ideas collide.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Don't forget. For years we were told that we didn't
exist to people like us, people like you that believe
these things, that think this way are in the minority,
and that is just not a fact. We were silenced
by the government, by social media, and Charlie's efforts I
think exploded a generation youth people also being able to
(28:49):
see these things, this conversation respectfully debated, and that humanizes him.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
When people stop talking, that's when you get violence.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
That's what that's the real problem.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
War happens because you start to think the other side
is so evil and.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
They lose their humanity.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
I'd said this yesterday, and it's true. I believe it.
I think you agree a lot more we each of
us would with our neighbors, with our friends, with our relatives, whoever,
even if we're on the other side of the aisle
on some of these issues. I think we got a
lot more in common with each other. And that's the
problem is that's what Charlie was doing, is showing every
Now there was just a constant fight and argument in people,
(29:24):
you know, rumbling like Jerry springer'sada. They probably wouldn't have
problem with that. But since he was bringing people together,
he was he was a threat. The lafoignant moment last night,
in a moment of silence at Yankee Stadium as the
Tigers played the Yankees tonight, President Trump, I believe, throws
(29:45):
out the first pitch on the anniversary of September eleventh
and the Tigers and the Yankees face off in New
York City. Oh that's incredible, that's incredible. How does Charlie Kirk?
How did he want to be remembered? There was an
(30:05):
interesting moment. Uh caught on a podcast not too long ago.
I thought this was fascinating to watch too. And man,
some of the stuff that's that's coming out lately is
is just it's just wild. But here you go, here's
Charlie on that podcast. How do you want to be remembered?
Everything just goes away? How would you if you could
(30:26):
be associated with one thing? How would you want to
be remembered?
Speaker 5 (30:30):
I want to be I want to be remembered for
for courage from my faith. That would be the most
important thing. Most important thing is my faith in my life.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Charlie Kirk, thank you so much. You guys do a
great job. I wish How do you want to be remembered?
If I die? Everything just goes away? How would you?
Speaker 4 (30:43):
Well?
Speaker 1 (30:44):
He certainly, he certainly will be. He died doing what
he loved. He died as a victor in the fight.
So prophetic what we watched, the bullet entering has thrown
talks sharing truth. We may have silenced one voice, but
(31:08):
they ignited millions in this effort. Yesterday, folks, we're going
to end the show with prayer today. We did this
yesterday and I want to continue to encourage you I
believe these are how our battles are fought, and one.
In fact, I believe the battle already has been one.
So I would encourage you to move only after you
(31:33):
hit your knees, before you take a step, hit your knees.
Whatever it is that you are planning, whatever it is
that you do, I would encourage you to do that first.
And so Father, we just thank you for Charlie Kirk. Lord,
we thank you for this country. We thank you for
this nation, the blessings, the covenant that you've had since
(31:54):
even the before the beginning of this nation, that it
was a nation founded on you found on the idea
that we should be able to come together and have
freedom to worship you. And Lord, we just thank you
that you continue to protect this nation. And then we know,
(32:17):
as your word says that if we will humble ourselves
and come to you and prayer, hit our knees, turn
from our wicked ways, Lord, that you will heal this land.
We're asking for that today. We're asking for healing the division.
We're asking for healing from the violence. And we asked
that you would walk alongside Charlie Kirk's family. Many of
(32:38):
the folks in his organization, his friends, those that knew him,
and even this audience. Lord as, we just feel that
immense loss today that we would know your peace beyond
all understanding, and we just thank you for it. In
(33:05):
Jesus name, we pray Amen. Thank you. Folks, hug your
family a little bit tighter today than ever before. God bless.
