Speaker 1 (00:11):
Welcome in. It is uh, it's a Tuesday that already
feels like Friday. It's it's already done. What do you
say that, Well, a new cycle just uh whipping up
like a hurrican, like a hurricane. And I gotta tell

(00:35):
you this, this hurricane a couple of them in the
in the news, Milton barreling down on flod a massive
category five Tampa mayor says, if you stay, you die now,
you'd probably say, uh, I get the sentiment. I understand

(00:58):
trying to get people to safety and to make sure
that people are taken care of. But that's jeez, I
gotta tell you that's that it's a little it's a
little more than what i'd i'd go with. I get it,
I understand, but I again set it on. I think

(01:22):
it was c n N is where she initially made
this comment, and of course that's that's gonna rile people up.
And you know, there's there's a couple of different angles
to some of this, but the the sentiment is it
is interesting, particularly what we've seen in the last days

(01:45):
with what's happening in in Georgia and North Carolina, and
there's there is uh, there's this there's also this, uh,
this idea that they want people moved out of these areas,
and specifically for a reason, they want them out of
the areas because they want to do things with the land.

(02:09):
And this is something that has come up since well,
it's really it's intensified since since Maui. And I'm not
saying it's wrong, and I'm not saying it's right. I

(02:29):
think every scenario might be different. But what I will
tell you is you can't blame these people. You cannot
blame these people for thinking that way everything they've seen
and really what it boils down, does a government just
sort of flailing and failing about every single issue that
they've they've come up against. This is this is the

(02:52):
this is the power for the course. This is what
they've they've had to deal with. So when you see
a government that is incapable, well and time after time
again when they're when they're up against it, they they
can't they can't meet the expectations, they can't even meet
any sort of competence in a lot of ways. That's

(03:13):
a problem. Now I'm getting arguments on Facebook with people
about this. I say arguments, I don't really argue. I
just state facts and I sort of drop them like
bombs and then I walk away. And that's always been
to me the most effective way to handle things like this.

(03:35):
But it comes from people who just jump on my
pay come into my page anyway, and I don't see
a lot of comments. I'll just tell you that there's
so many people on that page now, and think you,
by the way, if you if you are a part
of this page, mister justin Barkley. Basically everywhere but Facebook

(03:58):
in particular, there's like eighties want eighty two thousand people
on there whatever it is right now. So there's a
lot of these posts get a lot of traction, and
Facebook from time to time will throttle us, so we
don't get a lot of traction on things. But sometimes
I'll let it loose on the wildest things, and you
just you know, you just get an influx and you
can't see everything. But every now and then I'll see things.

(04:21):
In particularly it's from weirdos. The things that stand out
to me the most, they're the weirdos. There is some
gallon there telling me that, well, look, even Republicans have said,
we've got us quit spreading these rumors, ma'am. What you're
repeating is propaganda from the buying administration. How do I
know this? Well, I can prove it. First of all,

(04:43):
anything that is called misinformation or disinformation, any of that
is literally just a narrative or a story that they
don't want out because it doesn't make them look good.
And the end of the day, it poss sssibly refutes
whatever it is that that they're they're trying to get out.

(05:04):
So that's a whole nother thing that's happening right now.
I'll talk about that here a little bit, but I
want to also, you know, talk about the news, the
actual story of it, which is, you know, this thing is,
this is a beast. This thing's a monster, and it's
a massive it's a massive hurricane, and it's going to
have a major impact on a state of Florida and

(05:26):
the people there.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
The mayor of Tampa one message to Tampa residents tonight, the.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Number one message, as it has been for several days now,
is that you need to prepare, do whatever you need
to do, and then get out of the evacuation zones,
which now are evacuation Zone A and B. And as
we all have heard so many times now, you hide

(05:54):
from the wind and run from the water. And we
are talking about right now the possibility of a direct
hit with tend to twelve foot title surge. Put that
in perspective. Hurricane Helene, which just left the Tampa Bay
area a week ago, there was six foot storm surge

(06:15):
and that was literally devastating to so many in our
coastal area. We have one hundred and twenty six miles
of coast just in the city of Tampa, and so
people need to be heating that morning, and from the
looks of traffic on all of our northbound highways, they're
doing just that.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yeah, we've seen how jammed up those highways are. I
know a lot of the tolls have been suspended to
help facilitate people getting out of there. What would you
say to people tonight who are saying, you know what,
I'm going to ride this out. I've written others out.
What would you say to people who aren't heating those
evacuation orders.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Well, I can tell you right now that they may
have done that in others. There's never been one like this,
and this Helene was a wake up call. This is
literally catastrophic, and I can say without any dramatization whatsoever.
If you choose to stay in what are those evacuation areas,

(07:12):
You're going to die.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I mean that is an incredibly blunt message. And I
know you have a lot of experience dealing with these storms.
You don't say something like that lightly.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Mare, I've never said that. And ten to twelve foot surge.
I mean, if this takes a job to the south,
that's going to save us from the storm surge. But
it stays on the track that it's projected to be
on right now, or if it goes a bit north
would be even worse. Some of the predictions are saying

(07:45):
that Panelas County to the south of us, the entire
county is going to be underwater.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
So this is something that I have never seen.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
In my life.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
And I can tell you that anyone who was born
and raised in the Tampa Bay area has never seen
anything like this before. People need to get out.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
And your message is just this isn't survivable.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
This if we have that predicted storm surge, it is
not survivable.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Can I can ask you what that means for the
General hospital there in Tampa.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
By the way, that's a Democrat Mayor. Jane Caster on
CNN with Caitlin Bennett. Uh, and not to make it
about politics, because it really shouldn't be. But when this
administration has politicized everything, even news, and this is the problem,
even news in a day and age where this could

(08:42):
be you know, life threatening and certainly, I mean the
reality is, Look, it's this hurricane has got to be
like nothing else. Say so, I used to live down there,
I used to live in that area, and uh, it's

(09:07):
it's true. We never got anything, at least while I
was there in my time that was any and it
would always miss us. But the thought was, all, man,
if it comes in, it's gonna head here there. And
and the radio station that I worked at the time
was in Tampa and it would have been underwater. Now
McDill Air Force Base is there too. There's a lot

(09:30):
of there's a lot of stuff there that's that that
that is well, I think crucial. I think that's where
Syncom is is, if I remember correct correctly.

Speaker 6 (09:44):
So.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
But but I would think they are going to be uh,
they're going to be reinforced in some ways there. I
think some of this is obviously they've done things to
prepare in some ways, but uh, they're there. She's right,
this is unlike anything the things that I've read is
a once in one hundred year sort of event, or
they haven't seen anything like this in one hundreds. Now

(10:08):
do you stack that on top of the other issues
with Hurricane Helene and what we've already seen in the
damage done in Georgia and North Carolina thankfully, well there
they already had damage in Florida too, but it wasn't
on the scale of what we're seeing in Georgia and
North Carolina. But you're going to stack one on top
of the other. And this is what has people really

(10:32):
and reeling this morning, Milton. To approach maximum intensity is
the is the other headline coming out of the Miami
Herald today, how strong can it get? As a category five? Well,
then again, you just heard her talk about you know,
you need to get out, and certainly would I would

(10:54):
heed those those warnings into those area because here's the
thing about hurricanes. Having been in that area, lived on
the Gulf Coast and uh other places Mississippi and other
places before, there's a tendency that people just went I'm
gonna ride this one out, and you know, we just
go get at least just what I did when I
was When I was there, this is what everyone would do.
Go get I'll get you. Go get to get your supplies,

(11:19):
your hurricane supplies. And uh. When I say by that,
you go to the liquor story. You get a hurricane
survival kit they call it, and it's bottle booze or whatever,
and and uh and you write and you ride out
the storm. Now, I never wrote out any storms when
I was in Tampa. Katrina came through and we got

(11:40):
to see what it looked like when there was a
hurricane in the golf and boy that the golf that
it rages. We got some tropical storm type weather there.
But I don't it wasn't It wasn't like I said,
we never had direct hit whenever any of that. But
but it's here's some of the this is what you
can expect perfect conditions. Miami Herald says. Maybe conditions may

(12:07):
be perfect. The hurricane can only get so strong. But
they're saying, right now, this category five pushing the boundaries,
approaching what's known among hurricane experts as the maximum potential intensity.
And what they're looking at is a couple of a
couple of things. But at eight PM, the National Hurricane

(12:28):
Center said it sustained winds had hit one hundred and
eighty miles per hour. By barometric pressure, a measure of
storm intensity, Milton is already the fourth strongest hurricane on record,
with the central barometric pressure at eight hundred and ninety
seven millibars. Only five hurricanes in records have dipped below

(12:49):
nine hundred in official records dating back more than one
hundred and seventy years. So how strong can it get?
They ask into Miami Hero, the top pinned hurricane is
feeding on a seemingly bottomless buffet of record or near
record hot waters in the Gulf of Mexico, which went
weren't cooled much by the passage of Hurricane Helene less

(13:11):
than two weeks ago. It has friendly winds and not
much land in sight unless it edges closer to the
northern end of the Yucatan Peninsula. That puts the ceiling
the glass ceiling of MPI for Milton at around one
hundred and ninety five mile per hour winds with an
atmospheric pressure near nine hundred millibars, they say National Weather

(13:35):
Service Weather Prediction Center. So again, it's a massive storm,
and it's one that you really can't. You can't kind
of wrap your head around because as you as you
hear there, you're gonna have these, you know, close to
two hundred mile per hour winds on the coast. But
then even inland, this thing's going to cover the entire

(13:56):
peninsula of Florida if it does, and when it does
come ashore and it it was, you know, it looks
like anyway gonna have some pretty high winds even in
the like in the Orlando area. Now, I think there's

(14:20):
a potential that it could in fact drop Category five,
could drop down to a Category three by the time
it makes a landfall. That let's a late Wednesday. I've
seen the videos of people inside the airport trying to
get out, talking about closing the airport soon, and so

(14:42):
there aren't Here's the other thing about people trying to leave.
How do you leave? How do you leave? There are
no rental cars left? This this guy last night was
reporting for the airport and this this is Yeah, if
there's no rental cars, love, how do you get out

(15:04):
of How do you get out of town? If you're
stuck in some place like now, there are ways public
transportation to get to like Orlando. I think there's a train.
Trying to remember exactly what that thing was called. But anyway,
are you going to be safe in Orlando? That's a

(15:24):
whole other question. So we got up made to this
all morning. We're going to do that, but I don't
talk about the other aspects of it, which are the
other impacts not just the weather, but some of the
other issues in people were wondering about voting and the election.
Well in less than a month, Hey, how will this
impact that? Well, that's a whole other question, one that
ought to be answered. You know, I haven't seen maybe

(15:45):
I missed it, but you know, in twenty twenty, Mark
Zuckerberg and the rest of these zucker Box people, Boy,
they did all they could. Pouring money into areas majority
Biden voters take care of them. Makes her to think
it voc it was a massive get out to vote effort.
Now I'm just I'm just curious. We're going to see

(16:10):
a massive get out the vote effort by UH folks
like Zuckerberg and a few others. We're going to see
that massive get out the vote effort in UH in
red states. Won't won't hold my breath. We're streaming online

(16:38):
all morning the behind the scenes live stream over at Facebook, Twitter,
x rumble Getter locals the usual suspects, and you can
join the chat. Lots of folks jumping in and commenting.
This morning, we'll continue our broadcast checking the latest from
around the state to be out here in Michigan from
the folks at the Midwestern and we'll get that now
Detroit's News Talk Superstation nine ten AW. That's the question

(17:06):
somebody just ask in fact on the behind the scenes
last shame right now, where do they go? Where? Where
do these where do these people go to be safe?
For Anny? Good question. Some normally would go, you know,
you go Inland, you go up north. Well, there's nowhere

(17:27):
to go now, there's no up north. Maybe some places
in Georgia that they could go, you know, usually up
in the mountain. The mountains is kind of where you
got to hide from hurricanes. Write it out. At least
that's what I always heard and thought about. But but
you know, you saw what happened with the mountains last

(17:50):
last week. Well, this one's gonna go, it's gonna swipe
make kind of like a cross over the peninsula. That
doesn't mean that it couldn't swoop back in and then
hit the east coast and God forbid that you know,
but that that is, you know, that's all, that's all possible.

(18:15):
But but where do you go? That's a good You
normally go in into the state. But when you have
one hundred mile of a cattoo wins or whatever it
might be, eighty hundred whatever in the in inland, that's it.
That's a whole nother question. And yet, yes, the question
about where do you the voting and how do you
how do you deal with all these displaced people, how

(18:36):
do you get them to vote? Well, look at Georgia
and North Carolina. First of all, they got issues there.
And second of all, you're dealing with Milton now in
in Florida, and it's it's tough. We're you talk about
October surprise, No, this is an October full of surprises.

(18:57):
Coverage continues back after this news weather traffic, bottom of
the hour Troy's News Talk superstation nine ten am fare
on Hurricane Milton on the way as Florida braces for landfall,
the details about preparations. But you know, there's still other
things happening. In fact, that's that's part of the other

(19:18):
starts to clean out the things that are happening. Give
it to Ron DeSantis talking the politics of this stuff.
In fact, he had to have it out, have it
out with Kamala Harris, and she's again megan all this political.
Santa's head down, just trying to get the work done
to keep folks safe in Florida, and had an interesting moment.

(19:43):
I think it was last night, but we want to
say this was had to be Hannity last night, and
good for him. This guy's showing again time and time
again what leadership looks like. This is what he had
to see.

Speaker 7 (19:56):
He's been laser focused on leveraging all resources available in
voting from the federal government. And I've been in touch
with both FEMA and the President as well as marshaling
all our state agencies and working to support our local communities.
And so for Kamala Harris to try to say that
my sole focus on the people of Florida is somehow selfish,

(20:17):
is delusional. She has no role in this. In fact,
she's been Vice president for three and a half years.
I've dealt with a number of storms under this administration.
She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts.
And so what I think is selfish. Is her trying
to blunder into this? No, and here's she think she

(20:38):
has no role. No, she has no role in this process.
I'm in contact with the President of the United States,
I'm in contact with FEMA director. I'm obviously managing all
our state agencies. We're supporting all our local government. And
i will say this, I've had storms under both President
Trump and President Biden, and I've worked well with both
of them. She's the first one who's trying to politicize

(21:02):
the storm, and she's doing that just because of her campaign.
She's trying to get some.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Type of an edge.

Speaker 7 (21:09):
She knows she's doing poorly, and so she's playing these
plittal games. I don't have time for political games. I've
got peoples whose lives are on the line. I've got
peoples whose homes and their possessions are on the line,
and we are focused one hundred percent on that mission.
I'm not worried about playing her political games. And so

(21:29):
she is being selfish by trying to blunder into this
when we're working just fine.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Wow, you talk about setting the record straight, making sure
people understand priorities, and he does. He has millions of
people there in Florida that depend on him, and some
of it, by the way, come through the red tape
and the politics that's gone on already from a Hurricane
Helene cleanup. You wouldn't believe we got some of those stories.

(21:59):
And yet even in Florida. You've heard about all of
the details out of out of Georgia and North Carolina.
But what about Florida. We have the opportunity to have
the conversation. I want to make sure you got to
hear it too, Eric Trump, with the conversation about what
took place that day at that historic rally just the

(22:21):
other day. As President Trump returned to Butler, Eric Trump
joins us right now and the latest, Eric, thank you
for taking the time to be here with us today.

Speaker 8 (22:36):
Hello, Eric, Hey, I'm here, are you hey?

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Thank you for being here with us. Really appreciate it.

Speaker 8 (22:42):
Yeah, you're welcome.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Just what was that like? I got to ask first
and foremost, I've never seen anything like that this weekend.

Speaker 8 (22:51):
Well, listen, I was sitting there right next to Corey's
wife and his two beautiful daughters, and I'm in what
a moment?

Speaker 9 (22:56):
All right?

Speaker 8 (22:56):
I try not to get choked up very often, but
that was. It was powerful and you just heard the
ave Maria and obviously Cory's firefighting jacket surrounded by flowers
were up in the bleachers, and it was just it
was incredibly powerful, right, I mean, a mad man tried
to take my father's life, A madman took Cory's life,
A madman, you know, really severely injured to other great
Americans who you know, in an area that's just full

(23:19):
of love, and it was incredible. Is when we went
back to Butler, I mean, we must have had one
hundred thousand people there, was unbelievable. I went up with
Laura ahead of time and I was speaking and I
couldn't see the end of it. I mean, that's how
many people were there. It was literally it must have
been a thousand yards of people's shoulder to shoulder showing
their support. And it was a beautiful sight. But it
was obviously an emotional sight because of the loss of

(23:40):
Corey and and what happened to our nation that death,
you know.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
And what's interesting about it is we continue to see
the rhetoric from not just the media but politicians on
the left, just unhinged rhetoric that I think contributed to
these these attacks, and it hasn't slowed down at all.

Speaker 8 (24:02):
Listen, I take this stuff really personally. I mean, first
of all, Biden two days before the shooting said we
must put a bulls eye on Donald Trump's head, right,
And he kind of came out afterward and apologized for that,
saying that he shouldn't have said that. But you know,
I mean, but we've had this every just so, we've
had this every single day since my father came down
that escalator. Every single day. They tried to impeach him twice.
They made up dirty Dotti's about him, They made up

(24:23):
a Russia hopes about him. They tried to take him
off the ballot in Colorado, they tried to take him
off the ballot in Maine. They sent every far left
prosecutor in the country after him, and you know, and
really our whole family New York, Georgia, Washington, d C.
I mean, everywhere that they could Florida, I mean, everywhere
that they could charge him with something, they charged him
with it. They raided Milania's closet, they raided Baron's closet.

(24:47):
They subpoened me one hundred and ten times, the most
of anybody in history. These people have tried. You know,
they'll they'll try anything that they can to remove Donald Trump.
They will stop it, absolutely nothing. And then they tried
to kill him five weeks ago, and they tried to
kill him again, as you very well know, with the
you know, the Madman of the golf course, and you know,

(25:08):
it's horrible, it's horrible. It has to stop. And then
I get to hear these people come out and talk about,
you know, toning down the rhetoric. It's toning down the rhetoric.
I mean, you made up a thirty page dirty dossier
about the most horrific things you can even put in writing,
which was untrue, that was paid for by Hillary Clinton.
And you want us to tone down the rhetoric. You know,
I find it awfully ironic. But listen, the entire country

(25:28):
gets it. And you have a vice president who's the
worst vice president the history of the country. Nothing's working
well in this nation. The station's become unaffordable. There's turmoil
all over the world. See what's happening Israel right now.
You see what's happening in rushing Ukraine. You have people
who can't go out and afford to buy eggs. They
can't afford to buy bacon car insurances through the roof

(25:50):
good luck, trying to refinance your home. You know, under
my father is two and a half are cent. Today
it's eight percent, right, it's I mean, everything's unaffordable in
this nation. All while you have a president that's literally
sleeping on a beach, and you have a vice president
that literally can't do an interview like this. I mean
she's unwilling to do it. And you know, people just

(26:10):
want sanity back in this country. And and you know,
I could promise them, and I could promise everybody in
Michigan to help us on the way, and then help
us on the way.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Speaking of help, I want to talk about some of
the things you just mentioned in the state of the
country right now in North Carolina and Georgia, in those
disaster areas, and the warning that's come out today on
the one year anniversary of October seventh, and the horrific
tax in Israel. I want to get to all of that,
But first they got to get this clip because it
was a big moment your father bringing Elon Muscow on

(26:42):
the stage. And I don't know who's more excited, the
folks in the crowd or Elon himself straight down Washington, DC.

Speaker 10 (26:48):
We're gonna make it again the most beautiful capital in
the world.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
We're not gonna have graffiti.

Speaker 10 (26:53):
We're not gonna have graffiti on our marble columns. We're
not gonna have roads that have potholes all over them.
In meet instead of falling into the highways, We're going
to run it properly. We're gonna change it. We're gonna
run it properly. It's an embarrassment to us. Can you
imagine foreign leaders coming in and running over roads that
haven't been paved in years. We're honored to be joined

(27:16):
tonight by one of the people who is going to
help us build this incredible future. And he is a
truly incredible guy.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
And I don't say that that often. He's a great gentleman.

Speaker 10 (27:32):
He's done such an unbelievable job for North Carolina, for Georgia,
for Alabama, for Florida, for Tennessee. His name is Elon Musk.
He saved freestoochs, He created so many different great things.
Where is he come on our period lot? He created

(27:55):
the first major American car company in generations in his right,
kid company is the only reason we can now send
American astronauts. Interesting, come here, take over elad Yes, take over.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
So funny to watch, and what he said I thought
was really powerful. But he comes out with the black
Maga hat and the T shirt that says occupy Mars.
What a surreal moment that must have been.

Speaker 8 (28:26):
That was incredible. I mean, first of all, I've got
I just think the guys, he's beyond a super genius
what he's done. I mean, I think that Elon Musk
is effectively rescuing NASA and Boeing by getting their astronauts
back from the International Space Station. Go figure that you
needed Elon Musk to rescue NASA, right, I mean, I
mean it just shows the difference between kind of private
industry and government in the United States, American probably anywhere

(28:49):
in the world. But I know Elon he's the greatest.
And what a moment that was. I mean, he was
proud to be there. It doesn't help him to be
political at the same time, he's a He's a person
who loves his country and understands exactly what's happening in
this country. I mean, when he bought Twitter, I mean,
why did he do it? He spent you know, forty
four billion dollars, you know, something that will probably never
pencil to restore effectively free speech in this country because

(29:13):
he realizes the censorship. They're doing it to him. They're
they're weaponizing, I mean, they're suing him too. They're doing
many of the same things you know, to him as
they've they've done to my father in our entire family.
But Elon's a great guy. It's a lot of time
with him backstage at that event, and you know, he
was he was so honored to be there. The crowd
went absolutely crazy. And I think what impressed me the most,
justin was his vertical He he got up on the

(29:34):
stage as my father was introducing him, He's jumping up
and down. He's like he's like twenty four inches above
the stage. I couldn't believe. It's like one of like
the best jumps I've ever seen in my entire life. Right,
non NBA, you know basketball player, but Elon's the greatest,
And you know it's he's we've got a harness that
genius as a country, and on stage, he pretty much

(29:55):
promised to have a you know, a man on Mars
in the next you know, four years if uh, if
my father's administration wins, and and you know, no doubt
he will. If he'll promise it, Believe me, he'll get there.
I mean, the guys, the guy's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
That to me just is the sort of the difference
of the hope. And remember Kennedy making the promise to
go to the moon and all those things. But speaking
of Kennedy, your father's been able to bring all these
people to the table. It's not just Elon Musk. It's
all these individuals that have seen what the left is
turned into and Democrats have turned into. And that itself

(30:31):
is quite a testimony. It is.

Speaker 8 (30:34):
Listen to democrats. All they want to do is put
handcuffs on America, right, and it's it's just personally offensive
to everybody. I mean, they want regulation after regulation. I'm
fried Kamala hasn't come out yet and said, you know,
if she wants every rocket ship to be fueled by
you know, batteries, it's it's I mean, they're literally doing
that with army tanks. And you know that justin they
came out did the EV mandates for literally, you know,

(30:55):
army tanks, where they want all army tanks to be
battery powered. I mean, you literally cannot make up this
this nonsense. And you know, my father wants to deregulate.
He wants the lowest taxes in the world. He wants
no taxes on tips. It's something that he's going to
do day one. No tax on tip, no taxes on
social Security, and no taxes on overtime. Day one. All
these people want to do is remove my father's tax

(31:17):
cuts and hike taxes, you know, put taxes on you know,
unrealized gains in this country. I mean think about that.
So of a house it's worth one hundred thousand dollars,
it goes up fifty thousand dollars because you have a
nice market. They want you to have to pay twenty
five thousand. They want you to pay fifty percent on
the un realized gain of that asset. I mean that
would bankrupt every single America and that would bankrupt this country.

(31:39):
Imagine what that would do to small businesses. We've got
to get back to common sense, lowest taxes, most competitive environment,
have government get out of the way so small businesses
and businesses in general can flourish. We need to have
better education, right, I mean, we have a nation that's
thirtieth in the world in terms of education, where the
United States of America we better be first in education.
We better be first in everything we do, but we

(32:00):
better be first in education. My father wants to stop
the wars, and he wants to stop giving two hundred
billion dollars to Ukraine, to these young, little innocent kids
come around a corner in a trench and shoot each
other in the face, all while we give residents of
North Carolinas seven hundred and fifty dollars as their houses
float down a river. It's personally insulted. It's insulting to

(32:22):
every single American. We give Pakistan hundreds of billions of dollars.
They wouldn't tell us that Ben Lad and I said
this at the Butler rally. They wouldn't tell us that
been lot and was effectively, you know, being housed a
mile away from their equivalent of West Point. And we
give them hundreds of billions of dollars. Yet we go
to the people in North Carolina and South Carolina and

(32:44):
Georgia and other states that been so terribly hurt, we
offer them seven hundred and fifty dollars. This administration is
not serious. They're a joke. They're an absolute joke. We
better start getting our priorities right, you know, just not
be long winded. We have a hundred and fifty seven
hotels in York City that are full of illegal immigrants
right now, one hundred and fifty seven right. It costs

(33:05):
New York over a billion dollars a year. Yet we're
offering seven hundred and fifty dollars, you know to a
family whose house just got hit by a mudslide. I mean,
their TV is worth more than seven hundred fifty bucks.
It's it's so insulting to me. It's one of the
reasons I fight as hard as I do. We have
to bring common sense back to this country.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
We have to Eric Trump with us right now. One
last thing I want to mention, and it ties in,
unfortunately to everything else that we just don't discuss. But
today the FBI and DHS are warning of threats after
this one year anniversary of October seventh and the horrific
terrorist attacks in Israel. But you know, I think of this,

(33:46):
I'm just I'm looking at who always comes up. It
seems like in every issue problem at the border, there
he is illegals getting all this money, and of course
seven hundred and fifty bucks. That's it for folks in
North carol the response there from FEMA, and oh, by
the way, he's hustle over the Secret Service, which I know,

(34:07):
you know there are good people there, but there are
a lot of political moves being made at the top
that people have issues and concerns about as well. But
Alejandro Majorcis is right there in the middle of all
of it, watching all of these things happen. Every bit
of it's connected. We've got a border wide open, we
don't know who's coming or going, and we've got warning
saying that hey, it is just an everyday thing. Now

(34:28):
it's like, hey, it's just still warning to just be aware.
You may have some there may be some terrorist attacks
while you and your family are around. This is inexcusable
at every level, and every American ought to be fed
up with this.

Speaker 8 (34:41):
Oh you took the words right out of my mouth.
And then and then Kamala has the Gulf come out? Yes,
on day one, I plan on being very tough on
the borter. It goes, where the hell have you been
for the last four years? I mean, your borders are
you were appointed borders are like three days after. You know,
these administrations are, where the hell have you been? And
you're not serious about it? You know why you're not
serious about it. My father built six hundred miles of wall.

(35:03):
The rest of the wall was paid for. All the
sections were built. All they had to do is stand
them up and guess what they did. Kamalak came in
and after two years of having them lay on the ground,
they sold them as scrap metal. So don't tell me
you're serious about about the border. You sold my father's
wall though, That's all they literally had to do is
use an excavator, picked the thing up and put it
in place. You sold that steel for pennies on the
dollar as scrap metal. They flew three hundred and twenty

(35:25):
thousand people into this country on seven thirty sevens, landing
in airports all across the country at two am. Right,
don't tell me you're serious about immigration when you're flying
in illegal immigrants, you know, on a plane's being subsidized
by tak pair of dollars. My wife Laura is just
down at the border. They had security cameras. You don't
really see it in most of the border pictures because
they're back a little bit there, back one hundred yards

(35:47):
or so, but they had a whole you know, they
had towers, these massive security you know, these security camera towers.
They were all turned off. The border Patol keeps Sis
kept saying to my wife, and they won't turn on
the cameras. They won't allow us to turn on the cameras.
Are there your father and install all of them? They
won't allow them to turn them on. These people aren't
serious about solving immigration. They're the exact opposite. But they'll
go out because they know it's a it's a hot

(36:08):
button for Americans and and talk about, yes, we're gonna
be very tough. They've let twenty million illegal immigrants into
this country. You have three hundred and twenty thousand children
who have died to fentanyl because of their incompetence, and
they don't even talk about it. Bidens sitting on a beach,
Kamala's ducking interviews. I mean, they don't do a damn thing.
And that's why I say, I mean, I'm I'm not

(36:30):
I'm not tinfoil had, you know type guy justin. But
that's why I say, these are not serious people. They're
not They're not dealing with any issue around the low.
But it's and you better believe terrorists are getting into
this country. I mean from countries that are chanting death
to America, you know, and they're gonna hurt Americans. And
that blood is on this administration's hands.

Milton now a Category five barreling down to Florida. The
latest update there and more ten minutes first start updates
from around the state and beyond. What the folks at
the Midwest and the Midwestern are done news. It's nine
ten am. Back after this, well, the aftermass, not just

(37:37):
of Hurricane Colleen, but the political aftermath, intacts of the physical,
the political continues. Would you see, I guess it's KJP
and and Peter Deosey going at it. This is good stuff.

(38:01):
I'm gonna play some of it after top of the
hour and get into some of the uh these clips
that we have this war happening as they cut through
the red tape in fact in in Florida as well.
And and DeSantis is making some really boss just king moves.
You're talking about a real difference in leadership. And it

(38:25):
is as I mentioned, it's it's it's worth noting what
he's doing and how he's approaching this storm and the
preparation for it, and uh and calling folks out of
particularly and Kamala Harris is one of them. But kJ
P just just storms out speaking of storm, storming out

(38:46):
of the out of the White House brief press briefing
room yesterday when Peter called her on it, Why are
you out there spending all this money? You got enough
money for Lebanon but not for North Carolina. She didn't
want to. She did not want to hear that, accusing
him of spreading wait for it, dis infraation. Yes, that's

(39:10):
all coming up top of the him back after this
the latest headline, she's weather than traffic together night ten
A m feline relief effort continues Orgia, North Carolina and
even Florida. As you just heard you know, you list
the top of the hour news. They're cleaning up in Tampa,
the Saint Pete area right now from six foot storm

(39:33):
surge they had in some areas they could get double
that with the monster Milton that's barreling down as we speak.
And uh, look, one of the things we want to
talk about today, and we certainly will, we'll be Elon Musk.
And there's sort of a tie in here, I guess
in some ways I want to talk about Elon Musk

(39:54):
at the at the Trump rally, which was which is
kind of wild in itself over the weekend. But Henry
Paine joins us to talk about this story and the
latest which is how did these electric vehicles fare in
these hurricane conditions? Welcome man, Henry, appreciate you being here
with us today.

Speaker 11 (40:14):
Bill, more than justin, it's good to be with you.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Got a report out of Florida here.

Speaker 12 (40:20):
That one of the big dangers after Hurricane Hallin is
this fires involving lithium ion batteries. By now, many of
us have seen this video from Panela's County of a
tesla bursting into flames parked inside of a garage. Those
batteries do not do well when they're hit with saltwater.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
Western's Pamelic homb has the warning from state officials.

Speaker 13 (40:44):
The combination of storm surgeon lithium ion batteries found in
electric cars, bikes and scooters has proven to be a
bad mix. David Tretchell, owner of Daytona Fund Rentals, unfortunately
had to learn this the hard way.

Speaker 14 (40:57):
We all got flooded in and then when we got flooded,
came back to check on the shop as the water
was getting through the cameras and we noticed the fire
was started between the batteries caught fire from the saltwater.

Speaker 13 (41:07):
His bike's caught on fire. The damage cost him about
twenty thousand dollars. It all happening after Hurricane Ian flooded
his shop two years ago.

Speaker 14 (41:15):
We got all the bikes out. They did burn up
a couple scooters and a couple of bicycles, but we
were able to get everything out before the building went up.

Speaker 13 (41:22):
And with Hurricane Helene, well history is once again repeating itself.
State Fire Marshal Jimmy Petronis has issued a warning to
residence after they confirmed at least sixteen lithium related battery
fires in Florida.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
Yeah, how do you deal with this' I wouldn't even
begin to know what you could do to be prepared
and and I guess maybe last this is there anything
that these manufacturers, Tesla and anybody else can do to
fix this problem? Henry, this is gonna be a big
one for folks in Florida. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (41:55):
These big hurricanes are kind of come with the territory
for Florida, and you know, we hope everybody down there
is as safe and prepared as Milton comes ashore. Yeah,
it's the battery challenges is interesting and obviously particular note

(42:18):
in Florida where you're dealing with saltwater. Florida has got
the second largest concentration of of battery powered cars in
the country after California, and saltwater is particularly corrosive on
on batteries, not just automobiles, but on all kinds of
other devices, as the reports are indicating there. But of

(42:42):
course the batteries and automobiles are so big that you
find in vehicles like batteries. So the public officials are
actually warning people to to to secure their evs, even
take them, take them to higher ground, take them away
from structures, where potentially they would light on fire if

(43:06):
if if the salt water causes corrosiveness and causes damage
in the in the electronics, and then that would spark
a fire. And obviously we've seen what happens with with
them I on fires. They burned things to the ground.
So yeah, I know that says this is a real
It's an interesting challenge going forward, justin as you see
more and more UH electric vehicles, and it'll be inesting

(43:32):
to see how public officials handle it.

Speaker 1 (43:35):
You know what's interesting, it's not just as you mentioned
the reportsman, not just these uh these cars, but there
are also issues with other UH call them vehicles. I
guess in some ways they had the same problem in
UH in Mackinaw Island. I don't remember if it was

(43:55):
a scooter or as an electric like an e bike
than had a battery, but they had fires that started
obviously wasn't salt water that started it. There. We're unsaulted
here in Lake Michigan. But the the the batteries in
these vehicles can can cause some challenges. And this is

(44:15):
another one of the kind of hurdles jumping into Now
I'm not dissing electric vehicles or even teslas altogether, any
of them. I just I'm just saying that these are
things that people need to think about.

Speaker 8 (44:27):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (44:27):
And also if you're going to think about where you're
going to get your electric vehicle, if you're getting them
from China, that's a whole other issue when you think
about safety China. But but this isn't This is the
thing that I think people just probably haven't wrapped their
head around yet.

Speaker 11 (44:43):
Yeah, I know, it's like I say, it's this should
should spark a lot of conversation, uh, with municipalities. And
I mean there are already a lot of garages in
the country that won't take electric vehicles because of the
concern earn if there is a fire, of of the

(45:04):
peripheral damage to other vehicles, to to the those those structures.
So then you then you then you talk about a
situation with a hurricane where municipalities, if municipalities are buying
a lot of electric vehicles, you know, and storing them
all together. You know, how do you handle that? How
do you handle situation in the wake of a hurricane,

(45:25):
we have widespread power outage and you can't charge your
you can't charge your municipal vehicle fleet or if you're
you're a an owner and you're trying to get out
of an area in the wake of a power outage
and you can't and you can't power your electric vehicle.

(45:45):
I mean, there are all kinds of issues here that
people really need to think about, particularly when you're in
the path of of a hurricane. How you go north
to Ashville, which is fresh water, and again you have
you have such wide power widespread power outage in a
place like North Carolina, you really want to have a
plan about how you're going to get about if you've

(46:06):
got electric vehicle and no power to plug into.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
Henry Payne with us right now Detroit News, Detroit's News
Talk superstation nine ten am. And you know, Henry, one
of the other things I was looking at you and
I wanted to originally talk about was the historic speech
and the event a rally with Elon Musk joining President

(46:32):
Trump at Butler, Pennsylvania this weekend. It was it was
one for the history books. And gush, would I just
I've never seen anything like That's what I said to
We're going to talk to Eric Trump and we aared
some of that earlier this morning. I never seen anything
like this before. What did you make about about Elon there?
And and of course that historic moment where he spoke

(46:56):
and those two kind of know they're they're teaming up
in some unique way.

Speaker 11 (47:02):
Well, it really is fascinating, justin, and it shows you
how much the world has changed in the last few years. Remember,
back in twenty seventeen, Elon Musk was the darling of
the left. He was, you know, the pioneer of electric vehicles,
He was an icon of sustainability, and he was on

(47:26):
a business council that President Trump had put together at
the time. I mean, there's a natural, i think attraction
between these entrepreneurs and how to make government more efficient,
how to get things done. In twenty seventeen, Musk resigned
from the Trump's business council, and during the president's first

(47:50):
term when Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Accords,
and Musk declared, you know, they just couldn't work together
because of their differences on global warming. How the world
has changed, justin, I mean in the largely because of
the pandemic in this incredible move toward censorship and free

(48:13):
speech suppression. Elon Musk now is an enemy of the
of the of the left. Wing, he bought Twitter. He's
an immigrant somebody obviously who has done well in this country,
but also feels very strongly about civil liberties and that
has made him now a very tight uh buddy of

(48:34):
of Trump's on a number on a number of fronts,
and most importantly free speech. As you saw on that
stage in Butler, I mean the first words out of
Musk's mouth as to why this is such a crucial
election is because of free speech, and so I you
know it's you know, you talk about bringing the country together. Uh,
there there are there are there's not There are no

(48:57):
two greater disruptors in this country right now on the
business front, Elon Musk, in the political front, Donald Trump.
But you go to those do you go to their
respective rallies. You go to a Musk rally in California
to introduce a tesla, and you go to a Trump rally,

(49:17):
political rally, a Maga rally. They're totally different people at
these rallies. You know, the Musk rallies are uh generally
high income greenies who all want to who want to
buy the latest tesla. You go to a Maga rally.
You know, we see what Maga rallies look like in Butler.

(49:38):
I mean, these are these are uniting two people from
very different cultures, and what's brought them to gut together
is the is the lefts war on civil civil liberties,
on the on the Bill of Rights.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
Yeah, and it's really been wild to watch. In fact,
the only thing wilder is probably you know, Elon's jumping
up and down on the stage with excitement. I don't
know who was more excited him or the crowd. He
was so fired up to be there.

Speaker 15 (50:13):
Hi everyone, As you can see, I'm not just maga,
I'm dark mega. Well, first of all, I want to
say what an on earth.

Speaker 11 (50:28):
Is to be here?

Speaker 15 (50:29):
And uh, you know, the true test of someone's character
is how they behave under fire. And we had one
president who couldn't climb a flight of stairs and ANODA
who was fist pumping after getting.

Speaker 10 (50:48):
Shot, fight fight, fight, blood coming down the face.

Speaker 15 (50:57):
Now, America is the home of the brave, and there's
no true there's no true test and encourage under fire.

Speaker 1 (51:09):
Yea, it is incredible, isn't it. I think that moment
may have sealed the deal. I know that they were
fans of each other in the past, but that that
may have been added, Henry, what do you expect for
I let you go? I mean this guy, this is
the guy that wants to go to Mars, and Trump's
the guy that doesn't think anything's impossible. What do you

(51:30):
expect from these do in the future.

Speaker 11 (51:33):
Well, it's it's not just free speech. And by the way,
that Musk performance was vintage Musk. I mean, it's very
similar to these rallies he puts on when he introduces
a new new Tesla. He's got this sort of geeky,
nerdy charisma to him. But it's more than just free
speech justin I mean, Musk is also in the crosshairs

(51:55):
of federal law. Fair again, he is an enemy of
the Democratic Party. Now we've seen the Justice Department step
up investigations into Tesla, and so Musk is obviously very
concerned about the weaponization of the Justice Department against him
and his company, just as you've seen Justice Department gear

(52:16):
up against Trump and other executives who have crossed the
Biden administration. And then finally the UAW. The UAW is
now a political force in this country like we haven't
seen in recent years, thanks to the activism of Seawan fame,
and Tesla is a non union shop, and the Biden

(52:37):
administration has made no has made no secret of the
fact that they want all non union auto shops in
this country unionized, and they're going to bring political pressure
to bear. So Musk has a lot of irons in
this fight, in addition to Twitter and free speech.

Speaker 1 (52:56):
Here it is well, I know this is just barely
at the surface. Will have more in the days ahead.
But Henry, always a pleasure. Where can folks find find
you and stay up to date with all things that
are auto and UH and Musk and more.

Speaker 11 (53:11):
Oh, I appreciate that. Justin you can find me on
the Detroit News and here on nine ten am every
Tuesday and Thursday for the Auto Report.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
I appreciate you as always, Sirihus Henry Payne. Thank you, sir,
and we'll stay up today you too. God Yeah, lots
coming up, folks. We've got more on the way this morning.
You can join the program at any time. Two four
eight eight hundred eight two five five is the number.
Two four eight eight hundred eight two five five. That's too.
Four eighty eight hundred twalk calf five Milton on the way.

(53:39):
It's a four now it's been downgrade of the wins
lessened a little bit. They expect that could happen me
even down grade twenty three before it night's landfall. Let's
let's get the latest updates after this, the latest thro
around the state and beyond from the Midwestern, the Midwestern
or dot news. But I got into it a White
House briefing room, KJP storming out at one point in

(54:02):
that briefing room, Peter Deucy asking him the tough questions,
mass lighting of epic proportions happening.

Speaker 4 (54:10):
Let's head to the White House. Peter Deucy is asking
questions of cream John Pierre. Let's listen, so who.

Speaker 16 (54:16):
Are wrongfully detained and held hostage? And again, frankly, we
have had an extraordinary record of doing just that.

Speaker 4 (54:23):
And that's going to be the President's top priority.

Speaker 5 (54:26):
And on this issue of funding, the administration has money
to send to Lebanon without Congress coming back. The Congress
does have to come back to approve money to send
to people in North Carolina.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
Do I have that right?

Speaker 16 (54:42):
Here's what I'm going to be very clear about the president.
The Vice President has had a robust hole of government
response to this. Hundreds of millions of dollars. I said
it at the top, more than two hundred million dollars
that we have directly put towards survivors here for disaster help.

(55:02):
And that's because of this president's commitment to make sure
that we are there.

Speaker 4 (55:07):
For communities that are impacted. We take this very seriously. Again,
we take this very seriously.

Speaker 16 (55:13):
And before before the hurricane hit, we prepositions more than
fifteen hundred federal folks on the ground to help, and
so we have made sure that every state has gotten
their storm requested emergency declaration.

Speaker 4 (55:32):
They requested it and we made sure they received it.

Speaker 16 (55:35):
We've taken this very seriously, more than two hundred million
dollars that we have provided to the impacted areas. But
instead people want to do disinformation, misinformation which is dangerous.
Which is dangerous because that when folks on the ground
hear that, they may not want to ask for the
help that they need, that is there for them, That

(55:56):
is there for them. That's our focus here.

Speaker 5 (56:00):
Residentiment is fond of saying, show me your budget and
I will tell you what you value. If he's got
money for people in Lebanon right now, without Congress having
to come back. What does it say about his values?

Speaker 1 (56:11):
There's not enough money right now for.

Speaker 4 (56:13):
His value in North Carolina.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Information.

Speaker 16 (56:17):
Wait, no, that is your whole Your whole premise of
the question is misinformation, sir, What.

Speaker 4 (56:22):
You don't misinformation?

Speaker 7 (56:26):
I just mentioned.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
I just mentioned. I just mentioned to.

Speaker 16 (56:29):
You that we provided more than two hundred million dollars
two folks who are impacted in the area. And I
just shared with you that people are deciding not to
people are deciding not to not.

Speaker 5 (56:40):
To Congress, that there's not enough money to help people.

Speaker 4 (56:43):
We're talking about the SBA disaster loan.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
That's money for people in North Carolina.

Speaker 16 (56:47):
And that's important and people in North Carolina need that.

Speaker 11 (56:50):
Core.

Speaker 4 (56:50):
Wait, this is nothing new, Peter, This is nothing new.

Speaker 16 (56:53):
Congress comes together, they provide money millions of dollars for
disaster relief.

Speaker 4 (57:00):
We're asking them to do the job that they have
been doing for some time.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
Jeffrey, he's saying they have the money to send that
they need Congress to come back to have money to
send to Lebanon. Unless Lebanon's a town in North Carolina.
Maybe I'm missing something. He's just saying, what about Americans?
And by the way, this isn't some sort of crazy misinformation,
disinformation statement. This is a simple question, and I think

(57:28):
a lot of Americans are asking the same question. It's
an election year and they want answers. She says, no, no, No,
Congress has to come back in order to get well,
you know what they're gonna do. They're gonna throw all
kinds of extra goodies in there if they did have
to get that happen. He's just saying he can pull
this money around. He's doing it for Lebanon. Why why

(57:49):
not moving the money for the folks over North Carolina.
What she's saying, well, we've done some of that, but
not enough. Why not more?

Speaker 5 (57:57):
The President's letter is not misinformation, would you agree?

Speaker 4 (58:00):
No, The way you're asking me the question is misinformation.

Speaker 16 (58:02):
There is money that we are allocating to the impacted areas,
and there's money.

Speaker 4 (58:08):
There to help people who truly need it.

Speaker 16 (58:10):
There are survivors who need the funding, who need the funding,
and it's there information.

Speaker 4 (58:15):
I said that.

Speaker 16 (58:16):
I actually said we have the money available to help
survivors of Hurricane Helene and also Hurricane Milton. Now, now
there's going to be a shortfall, right because we don't
know how bad it's Hurricane Hilton is going to be
and so we're going to need additional funding.

Speaker 1 (58:36):
By the way, before I let her finish this and
storm out, and she will. This comes as I've got
the story today. It's actually in our secret show prep.
If you haven't already seen this yet. What about hurricane relief?
FEMIS spent four billion. FEMA spent four billion. FEMA the

(59:03):
Federal Emergency man, they spent four billion dollars with a
B a billion just this just this year. It will
excuse me, in September this year, Is that right? Am
I reading? I can't be am I reading this right.

(59:25):
FEMA's Disaster Relief FUN monthly report reveals that nearly four
billion dollars was spent on COVID nineteen AID in September
of twenty twenty four. COVID in September of twenty twenty four.

(59:53):
More on this video. She's gonna storm out here at
the end. It's not very happy calling us misinformation. Apparently
this is right straight from the governm website. Though by
the way, she doesn't like that. No money for money
for folks there in North Carolina. Though back next Newsweather

(01:00:18):
Traffic Together, Detroit's News talk SUPERSTITIONI nine ten am or
lay heavy dose of truth, logic and common sense coming
your way. Yeah, welcome back in and uh man, oh man,
Ever a dull moment. See Tiger's win last night. Picked

(01:00:38):
up a good one in Cleveland. We'll take it to
come back for game three tomorrow. Uh So what else
is it going on?

Speaker 13 (01:00:48):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (01:00:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Should probably should probably tell you. I got a couple
of bigs. I got some video here. Now you're not
gonna be able to see this on the radio. I
get it, but I will describe as much as I
can for you what is being seen. It's out of
so it's out of North Carolina. As we talk about

(01:01:10):
the hurricane relief and whatnot, the process of the cleanup
is going on there. I want to play for some
of it for the Michigan Task Force one is what
it's called. This group of folks have gone to aid
in the search and rescue relief. In fact, there's a
lot of places, churches that are sending groups, organizations going
to get to send supplies down to those affected and

(01:01:33):
impacted areas. Any other story is on all of this.
The story is that real life, everyday people are doing
more to help those in need than the federal government.
And by the way, that's really essentially how this is
supposed to work. Anyway, this is always how it was
supposed to work. We're supposed to help our neighbors, not

(01:01:56):
supposed to rely on the federal government for handouts and
the rest. Now, I'm glad when they are there, if
they don't muck it up, although I'll tell you those
are some of the most dangerous, deadly words. You don't
want to hear them from the federal government them here
to help at times. Here is Currn Jean Pierre gas

(01:02:19):
letting Peter Dousey when he asked the question, you got
all this money for Lebanon the president was able to
get over to help. No, not a town Lebanon, North Carolina, Lebanon,
the country. But you need Congress to come back and
send more money to get something past that. You could
send money to North Carolina and Georgia, and essentially whatever
happens with Milton here, that's gonna be cush. I can't

(01:02:44):
even imagine. It's now Category four Tampa. Mayri says, you've
got to evacuate if you're in these areas where you're
not going to survive and it is. It's a serious storm,
that's for sure. And they've already had what six storm
surgeon in some of these areas. It cleaned up after Halle.
Now they've got Milton on the way. Anyway, what do

(01:03:04):
you where you got all this money for Lebanon? You
have any of this money for America? In fact, we
just found out femas spent four billion. It's September of
this year, according to the government information. These are charts
the government has put out disaster relief fun Monthly Obligations
f Y twenty twenty four Fiscal Year twenty twenty four.

(01:03:26):
There it is. It's on the screen. People can see
it if they're watching right now behind the scenes live stream,
but you can. You'll be able to see this later.
We'll put it up in a stack too. Four billion
on COVID nineteen relief. That's the essentially the question. But
she can't answer this question. Why why can't you get
money to the people that needed Well, we've already said
a little bit.

Speaker 16 (01:03:46):
Well I'm going to need additional funday exactly what I said,
no information. What you're asking me is why Congress needs
to come back and do their job. That's what you're
asking me. Congress needs to come back and do their
job and provide it extra assistance, extra funday to disaster
relief fund. That's what Congress needs to do. And we're
going to continue to urge that. You may not want that,
but that's okay. That's what this president wants, and that's

(01:04:07):
what the Vice president wants. Thanks.

Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
By the way, I don't know what she's wearing. Looks
like a little kid dressed up in her dad's coat here.
It's just strained, the sood thing she has on. I
just noticed that on top of it. But uh, yes,
I mean this is going to be There's why this
is a political response. It is going to be popular
to say, well, yes, Congress ought to get to work

(01:04:29):
and they want to do this. Well, the president has
already moved money around. Why hasn't he? The question is
it about Congress. We'll get to them next, But why
has it this president? And why hasn't Kamala Harris? You know,
why hasn't she done it? Well, she's not involved in
any of this anyway. So they're trying to thread that needle,

(01:04:50):
walk that line. They've always tried to do that. Of course,
between her being in a combany in an office now
and not have anything to do with any of the
bad things that have that have had happened so far,
and that this administration responsible for. Here she is storming
out and her big daddy's big coat. Look at that,
Well that was the exchange.

Speaker 4 (01:05:09):
You just watched it live with Peterducy.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
And Cream Garlier.

Speaker 4 (01:05:12):
And this is a point of contention for so many
on the ground, those relief funds and getting them to
them and getting them to them fast.

Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
John, I'm just sorry. But look, if you're somebody, First
of all, the only reason they're they're going to be
able to see this in North Carolina is because Elon's
dropped off Starlink satellite so that they can stay connected
the internet. But secondly, if you're somebody watching this in
those areas it's affected by any of this stuff. You're
watching all this go down, and you and you see

(01:05:40):
her say, well, that's not our responsibility, that's Congress that
has to what. I just want my money. What are
you talking about help us out? You know, And I'm
not talking about seven hundred and fifty dollars and whether
that's a loan or not. And they got to pay
it back or any of the stuff that we've heard.
We don't. We just need people to get the help.

(01:06:02):
And at this point, it's it's it's very basic and simple.
So do they need water, they need power, they need
they need food.

Speaker 17 (01:06:09):
Yeah, And she clearly didn't like Peter's line of questioning
because she up and left right after that. But but
Peter's point was, you're saying that Congress has got to
come back to earmark more funding for North Carolina. But
at the same time, you're giving nearly two hundred million
dollars to folks in Lebanon. Why not give the money
that you're giving the folks in Lebanon to the folks

(01:06:31):
in North Carolina and then ask Congress to appropriate more
money for the folks in Lebanon.

Speaker 18 (01:06:35):
And this is the only thing to become a bigger
issue now with another hurricane approaching.

Speaker 17 (01:06:39):
And then she went around the horn with Peter about
him asking a question that was based on misinformation. But
it was purely the information that she was giving that
he was asking the question based on.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
This is we're in, folks, we're in the upside down world.
We're in We're in fantasy land. This is this is
the problem, Don Wise, in Congress in session. I don't
know that they've got a schedule break. Probably has to
do with campaigning for the biggest election in the history
of the country. It's probably what it is. And they

(01:07:12):
are campaigning for their jobs too, so they have breaks then.
And some of us, by the way, Don wish not
to pick on you, because I like you, but some
of us wish they'd take a bigger break, if you
know what I mean, that we might benefit if they

(01:07:32):
took a longer break, if you know what I'm saying,
some of these folks in Congress. All right, I gotta
get this video up here. Let me pull it up
here on the screen for you. This is this is
video coming out of North Carolina, a Michigan task force
what they saw when they rolled through North Carolina. Here.

(01:07:53):
I don't know, do I have audio on this. Let's see, Yeah,
we've got oh man, it's uh. It's essentially an entire
town wiped out. That's where the river was next to
the road. You see the road also washed out in
some places, houses just hanging by a thread off of
the off of the shore. There the river, the banks,

(01:08:15):
and then you see in town trees, debris, buildings, knocked over,
power lines on the ground, they assisted and I believe
thirty separate rescue operations. Wow, look at that bridge with
all the trees. It's like mac sticks. That's North Carolina.

(01:08:36):
Looks like that's the area that we've seen hit so hard. Anyway, Gosh,
it's just it's so sad. Anyway, that's just the that's
just some of it that that we're we're getting. That's

(01:08:58):
just a redose reality. So you can see it. Now,
we've heard about FEMA interfering the Glenn Back program. Glenn
has sent people down uh and he's been there himself
and helicopters. Congressman Corey Mills joined him alongside those folks
as well to talk about what they can do and
actually provide, whether it's water or supplies or starlinks or whatever,

(01:09:23):
so people can actually be in communication. They've been, they've
been on the ground, and I'm telling you, I'm having it.
You talk about misinformation. I'm having to fight this on
over on Facebook. There are people claiming that FEMA's there
and they're doing the right thing. Well, I'm telling you,
we've got conflicting reports from people I know, people I

(01:09:47):
know on the ground. So what in the world is
going on? Oh no, no, I'm telling you that I
know people. Okay, This keyboard warrior stuff is crazy. These
people are just they've they've completely been brainwashed and they're

(01:10:09):
off the chain. Glenn has seen it up close and
personally talking about a matter of fact, you'll hear more
about it today in the Glenn Back Program nine to noon.
Today we'll tell you what's in store on the way
and of course you and uh, you and I we'll

(01:10:30):
be right here for it. And of course a full
day of this coverage Hurricane Melton again, let's give you
the details of the latest on this down to a Cat
four now still very dangerous devastation, sheer, utter devastation could
come to that Tampa area. I know the mayor saying
that maybe there's a possibility that the thing could veer

(01:10:52):
to the south. We'll have the latest on that coming
up too, So don't go anywhere. Keeping you updated with
all of this news today and more back after this
Detroit's News thought Superstition nine ten af did you see

(01:11:12):
sixty minutes? I know there's gonna be something we're gonna
have to talk about. Sixty minutes interview, both Kamala Harris
and U and Tim uh They they they are Look,

(01:11:34):
they are just imploding. And I never thought I'd see
this coming, but sixty minutes. You would kind of expect
a softball interview approach from these folks, but they asked
some tough questions and there was a bit of h
how you say, there was a bit of a even

(01:12:01):
fact Schecker pushback. I'll say that's probably the best way
to put it. Here is Bill Whittaker asking Kamala Harris
that question about, well, essentially, people don't believe you. You
changed your mind so much on these issues that people

(01:12:21):
don't believe you. What do you say to that criticism?

Speaker 9 (01:12:25):
Let me tell you what your critics and the columnists say. Okay,
they say, the reason so many voters don't know you
is that you have changed your position on so many things.

Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
You are against fracking, now you're for it.

Speaker 9 (01:12:41):
You supported looser immigration policies, now you're tightening them up.
You're for medicare for all now you're not. So many
that people don't truly know what you believe or what
you stand for.

Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
And I know you've heard that in the last four years.

Speaker 19 (01:12:58):
I have been vice President, it states, and I have
been traveling our country, and I have been listening to
folks and seeking what is possible in terms of common ground.

Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
I believe in building consensus.

Speaker 19 (01:13:12):
We are diverse people geographically, regionally, in terms of where
we are in our backgrounds.

Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
These are just like slogans or marketing lines. We are
diverse people, common ground, GOODNSSUS reaching across the aisle. That's
all she's saying. She did not really answering the question
of what people don't believe you? You've changed your positions

(01:13:39):
about that. What do you expect them to think you?

Speaker 19 (01:13:42):
And what the American people do want is that we
have leaders who can build consensus where we can figure
out compromise and understand it's not a bad thing as
long as you don't compromise your values to find common
sense solutions.

Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
And that has been don't compromise your values to find
common sense solutions more words, salid nonsense my approach. That
has been my point. That's that's why people shouldn't. But again,
remember the question, don't forget Here's what I tell you.

Speaker 9 (01:14:16):
What your critics and the columnists say, Okay, they say.
The reason so many voters don't know you is that
you have changed your position on so many things. You
were against fracking, now you're for it. You supported looser
immigration policies, now you're tightening them up. You were for
medicare for all, now you're not. So many that people

(01:14:40):
don't truly know what you believe or what you stand for.
And I know you've heard that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
I don't think they also don't believe anything she says.
That's that's the other issue. She wasn't the only one
getting it last night, by the way, Tim Walls. Tim
Walls also got a him taking a hit as well,
pressing him on his Chinese ties, all the vacations, all

(01:15:09):
of the trips over there and the you know, the
honeymoon over there and everything.

Speaker 9 (01:15:15):
In your debate with JD Vance, you said I'm a
knucklehead at times, and I think you were referring to
the time that you said that you were in Hong
Kong during the Tiananman Square unrest when you were not.
Is that kind of misrepresentation. Isn't that more than just
being a knucklehead.

Speaker 20 (01:15:35):
I think folks know who I am, and I think
they know the difference between someone expressing emotion telling your
story getting a date wrong by a you know, rather
than a pathological liar like Donald Trump.

Speaker 9 (01:15:47):
But it comes down to the question of whether whether
you can be trusted to tell the truth.

Speaker 20 (01:15:55):
Yeah, I can't. I think I can. I will own
up to being a knuckleheaded. But the folks closest to
me know that I keep my word.

Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
Folks, I gotta tell you something. Most people aren't going
to notice this. They're not gonna have an idea. And
how bad that was, even how bad that was, even
that was edited. They edited that to make it look
even better. There cuts all through that. I don't know

(01:16:26):
what he actually said, but it was probably worse than
what they showed you. And it called Donald Trump a
pathological liar. At some point in here, the guy's caught.
Let me bust it out there pointing a finger at
Trump was not a good night for these folks on

(01:16:51):
CBS sixty minutes, which again I did not it did
not expect. How about this, You're an illegitimate candidate, Oh,
she claims, Now, I'm protecting democracy. Uh, but this is
this is dangerous. I don't know you watched this, but

(01:17:12):
this is uh, this is some sixty minutes.

Speaker 9 (01:17:15):
Democracy best served by President Biden stepping down and basically
handing you a nomination. You didn't have to go through
a primary process. You didn't have to fight off other contenders.
That's not really the way our system was intended to work.

Speaker 19 (01:17:34):
President Biden made a decision that I think history is
going to show it's heroics rare among leaders, was to
put country before self. And I am proud to have
earned the support of the vast majority of delegates and

(01:17:55):
to have been elected the Democratic nominee. I am to
have received the endorsement of leaders around this country from
every background and walk of life.

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
She was installed like a toilet.

Speaker 19 (01:18:09):
To fight in this election over the next month for
our democracy.

Speaker 9 (01:18:17):
But I think this truncated process is why people think
or say they don't really know who you are.

Speaker 19 (01:18:25):
Look, I've been in this race for seventy days.

Speaker 1 (01:18:33):
I did not expect that. I didn't have bet on
my bingo card sixty minutes. Now. There wasn't all this,
by the way, it wasn't all but to even come close.
You're not supposed to do any of this. You're not
supposed to even question the regime. You're not supposed to
even no, you can't even don't you dare even think it.

(01:18:58):
I can't believe they got his closest they din. There's
more in this audio. We'll get to it coming up
a little bit later on. If you can see. Look,
I know we're on the radio, but we're also on
the behind the scenes live stream over it Facebook, Twitter,
ex rumble Getter locals and you can join that. We

(01:19:19):
appreciate people sharing it out. That's obviously helps us get
the word out about what's happening. Love that, please do
follow and like subscribe all of that for more. But
if you can see the look on her face right now,
it really it says it all. She's just perfect. It

(01:19:42):
just oh man, quick break. We back after top of
the hour, these stories and more and the latest done
Hurricane Melton, but also the aftermath and the cleanup of
Helene and all the reality that comes with it. We
get to this and more this morning, of course, don't

(01:20:02):
go anywhere. Just getting started. Detroit's news talk superstation is
nine ten am. Justin Barbacane back at it with Hurricane
Milton now a category four winds dining down just a bit,
still could make landfall, they say. As a three, they
expect some of this still would be very, very bad

(01:20:24):
for that area. Over one hundred years, it's been since
they've had a hurricane this size of scope and strength.
Nineteen twenty one, I believe it was the last time
Hurricane Milton barely down Hurricane Helene and the damage they
continue to dig out from residents in North Carolina. Asking
the question of Kamala Harris, what would.

Speaker 18 (01:20:43):
Your message be to Vice President Kamala Harris and to
the White House? What do you have to say to them?
I mean, she's she spent time on you know, these shows, podcasts.
You haven't seen the response. I know, I've been up
to Chimney Rock. I've never seen such devastation in my life.
It looks like a war zone. I know people lost

(01:21:03):
their life up there as well. What would your message
be to her in the White House?

Speaker 3 (01:21:06):
Sean would like to know.

Speaker 8 (01:21:07):
Where are you?

Speaker 1 (01:21:09):
Where are you?

Speaker 21 (01:21:10):
These people have lost their homes is after, they've lost
their businesses, they've lost everything, and they need some support.
They need help, and seven and fifty dollars is not
much help.

Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
As they've called her a resident there of North Carolina.
They're in Swannanoa. Last night, that son Hannity and that
continues to be a big issue, and the media is
not going to show you. In fact, people are going
to argue with you about what's really going on on
the ground there. You're hearing it right out of the
how of the mountains, of these folks that are there, devastating.
The consequence is what makes it even worse, adding insult

(01:21:46):
to injury is the politics around it and how they
are they're ignoring that situation. But it's par for the course.
We've seen that in the Palestine, We've seen it with Maui.
We've seen it whenever Americans are in need need help
their America last, those policies Kamala Harrison, Joe Biden always
always America last, and folks are hankering for a change.

(01:22:12):
I'll tell you that much. I took that a little
bit and in a few other things. Is momentum is
building in Michigan. In fact, Mishaun Mannock joins us. Now
big event alert we're going to tell you about as well,
coming up here in just a moment. Michean, appreciate you
taking the time to be here with us today.

Speaker 6 (01:22:29):
Oh, good morning, What a beautiful Maga morning in Michigan.
It's going to be another course of.

Speaker 1 (01:22:33):
Day, ay Man. So you know it is. It is
make America great again, and it's boiled down to very simple.
I think America first versus America last, and there are
two very distinct differences. In fact, Peter Deucey earlier this
morning asking the question Crine Jean Pierre there in the
White House briefing Rubies, well, you you found money. Biden

(01:22:55):
found money to send around to Lebanon. No, that's not Lebanon,
North Carolina, and George, that's Lebanon the country. But there's
no money for these people. You've got to get Congress
called back in here to find money for people here.
It's just incredible that that in itself is the picture
of what it means to be America last versus what
President Trump means. It says, make America great again. That's

(01:23:17):
putting America and her people first.

Speaker 6 (01:23:22):
Right, And honestly, you just I mean, that was a
takedown yesterday morning watching that, and he did an incredible job.
But part of the problem, and you know this firsthand,
is so many people are fed the fake news and
are watching the fake news instead of watching the small
minority of you that are trying to push through and

(01:23:44):
show people what's really happening in America. And that's honestly,
I think it's our biggest battle is the fake news.
And I applaud you for being one of the very
few brave warriors that continues to have a voice among
just absolute muck.

Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
Well, I'm probably like you. I feel like we really
have a choice, And I know you've been on the
other side of that. You have. You've gone through the law,
fair and everything else that is you're speaking of muck.
You've been through it. You know that fight. But this
is why it's important, because it comes to the times
like this when people's lives are on the line.

Speaker 6 (01:24:24):
Yeah, what's happening down south is just devastating. It's hard
to watch. And I'm praying for the people in Florida.
My dad is down there all alone, wants to write
it out on his own. He's been a home in
a stereo Michigan. And I'm sorry Astaro Florida. And I'm
just praying for everybody in Florida that sees what's coming
their way so and that they don't necessarily know that

(01:24:44):
they have a government that they can depend on.

Speaker 8 (01:24:46):
It all.

Speaker 6 (01:24:47):
FEMA has been a disaster so trying to keep our
head up here in Michigan. What we've got twenty seven days?
How many days do we have?

Speaker 1 (01:24:54):
Yeah, I think it's about twenty seven to twenty eight days,
less than a month. I'll tell you. We're into this
grind right now. And you mentioned FEMA being a disaster
and it is. What is encouraging to see is that
the real life, everyday people that have gotten involved, Americans
coming together. I think that's that's the reality. I want

(01:25:15):
to encourage people to understand that. That's you know, neighbors
coming together and people from all over the country, strangers
to help these people out. That's the real heart of America.
It's not what we're shown on the nightly news. And
that's why I do have fun. That's why I hope
that President Trump could be successful here.

Speaker 6 (01:25:36):
I'd rather have a couple of guys on a few
ATVs or their horses coming to try to get me
out than any government employee all day long.

Speaker 1 (01:25:45):
So we're looking at polls, by the way, and momentum
talking about why I'm hopeful that President Trump will be successful.
Michigan is going to be a big part of this.
This victory and taking the country back yesterday, had a
poll again, up again. I just saw enough one today.
These are people keep asking me. I get Sam. I

(01:26:05):
know you do too. All is Michigan? Is it? We
got to well, folks, here's the way I kind of
I'll ask you, mishun Maddock with us right now? I say,
looks good. Everything feels good right now. But I always
like to play like we're ten points behind, right, And
we have to think that that way so that we,
as president said, we've got to make it too big

(01:26:26):
to rig. We have to swamp the vote.

Speaker 8 (01:26:28):
We've got to come out for us.

Speaker 6 (01:26:30):
We have to swamp the vote. We have to vote now,
vote early. I personally know somebody that just a couple
of weeks ago almost passed away. Suddenly thank god, they're okay.
But I immediately thought about the ballot that could have
been cast. Uh, you never know what's going to happen.
We need to vote right now, vote early. My husband
and I have our ballots and we're actually going to.

Speaker 8 (01:26:49):
Do that today.

Speaker 6 (01:26:51):
But swamping the vote is the answer. And also the
coalitions that are moving towards Trump are very inspiring. I
agree with you. We can't we can't take anything for granted,
we need to keep fighting. But the momentum of Detroit
Blacks for Trump, the Indians for Trump movement that is
coming out of Southeast Michigan, the auto workers for Trump.

(01:27:14):
I have fifteen teamsters that are showing up today at
the JD Vance event at Eastern Market today at two pm.
And they were trying to get off work, trying to
figure out how to get more of their kind, but
fifteen of them are going to be there organizing whether
or not they can have matching T shirts or placards
because they want to show the world that their numbers

(01:27:37):
overwhelmingly support Donald Trump. Those things haven't happened in the past,
and that does inspire me.

Speaker 1 (01:27:45):
It is it's incredible to see this if we're seeing people.
We talked to Eric about this is just yesterday about
all these people that have come around, and it was
you know, look, it's the average, everyday folks that you
just mentioned mayor of ham Trammick throw him in there.
But also you're talking about pastors all over and and

(01:28:07):
even big names like Elon Musk. What do you think
you'd ever see Elon Musk become the free speech guy
joined that become a dark MAGA and and then joined
forces RFK Junior. All these people that have seen the light,
and it's it's encouraging to see people waking.

Speaker 6 (01:28:27):
Up amen and and telling the truth to other people
who have wondered about it. I met a woman in
line at VIVEK event a few days ago and she
was wearing her RFK for President hat, and so I
walked up to her and talked with her. And this
was her very first Trump type event. She went on

(01:28:48):
to see President Trump and saganaw a few days later.
But she told me that she truly believes that she
had been lied to for years. This is her these
are her real words. I mean, I could give you
her names, you could bring her on. Soho. She voted
for Hillary Clinton, she voted for Joe Biden, and here
she is now cannot wait to vote for President Trump.
And she's telling everybody she knows that was on the

(01:29:10):
RFK movement and her eyes were opened because of a
brain cancer injury, and she started listening to RFK and
his talk about how Americans have been poisoned and that's
what led her to President Trump. And then she's told
me that she could not believe how nice and welcoming
and loving. Everybody was in normal because she's been told
that we're all monsters.

Speaker 1 (01:29:32):
It really is. It's something, isn't it. I mean people
go to hell, they go to a Trump rolly, and
I think they just be blown away by exactly what
you mean. You know, the next best thing if you
can't get to one of those, is a cruise, and
I think you got one coming up. In fact, this.

Speaker 6 (01:29:51):
Weekend we do. One of our co founders, Mary and Sardin,
came up with the idea of Trump's Dream Cruise and
it really taken off. I believe that we will have
at least a thousand cars on Woodward Cruising this Saturday,
October twelfth, from twelve until three. We're asking people to
cruise between Square Lake and Bloomfield Hills all the way

(01:30:14):
down to Royal Lok thirteen mile and then come back.
And you don't have to have a fancy car. I'm
having my husband pull our International scout out and get
it cleaned up. But everyday Americans and all of their
cars were encouraging them to decorate them with their Trump
flags and their Trump gear waving out the windows. And

(01:30:35):
if you don't want to drive, you can just come
and line up along Woodward and wave to the cars.
So we're excited about it. It's iconic.

Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
Would you guys trust Tim Walls to work I know
he has an international scout. Would you trust him to
work on yours?

Speaker 6 (01:30:50):
Oh my god, that's hysterical. My husband can take a
part of motor and put it back together. I don't
think Tim Walls does even know how to change the
oil in a car.

Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
Well, you're probably You're probably right about that. He is, well,
he sure plays the role, though I.

Speaker 6 (01:31:09):
Don't know he's I don't think he plays it well,
let's put it that way.

Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
He's kind of a knucklehead. He'll he'll leave it. Tell
you what do you think? We just talked about media,
But let me circle back to this. What did you
think about the CBS sixty minutes treatment that those two
got yesterday? Was that wild? To what?

Speaker 6 (01:31:29):
Pretty stunning? And I don't I'm with you, I don't
really know what to think about it. When you when
you suddenly see the lame media pressing and probing and
answering the answer, asking the tough questions that we've always wanted,
it kind of makes you wonder. I think maybe they're
seeing that their ratings will not only you know, they're

(01:31:51):
seeing who's about to be president, let's put it that way.

Speaker 1 (01:31:53):
Well, and.

Speaker 6 (01:31:56):
I also can't help but think that it helps their
ratings when they now decide to be a little bit
more actual media. I think that it helps their ratings,
and that's that's what it comes down to, is the
most important thing for them. But it was interesting to
watch that and she fell apart like usual.

Speaker 1 (01:32:16):
There's certainly no doubt about it either way. There's certainly
calculation happening behind the scenes, because these people don't do
anything without without strategizing. Yeah. Absolutely, well, well, I.

Speaker 6 (01:32:27):
Mean, according to Elon Musk, you know, they're terrified. You've
got all these billionaires that are terrified about Epstein's islands
list being revealed, and that's why the only reason they're
not backing Trump. That was a stunning That was a
stunning admission. And he said that yesterday. So you know,
I don't even know what to think anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:32:46):
If folks haven't checked that out yet. We're going to
play some clips coming up here a little bit. But
that's a fantastic interview. Tucker sat down with Elona after
that that event this Saturday, and Elon is almost giddy
with excitement right now as he spills the beans on
some of these things. I know, folks are excited again.

(01:33:07):
I'll give you another chance to talk about it happening
this weekend, big Trump Woodward Dream Cruise. We'll have to
have you back on to talk more in the future
about the things that are coming, as we got just
twenty seven days away, but the cruisers this week.

Speaker 6 (01:33:20):
I hope to see you tonight justin you know. We
also have Rogers versus Slotkin debate tonight at seven pm,
which I cannot wait for. And we're having a debate
watch party at the Bob and Grand Rapids. So get
your wife and kids and head over to the Bob
this Saturday. Get in your car, decorate it for Trump.
Drive Iconic Woodward from thirteen Mile to Square Lake and

(01:33:44):
back for the Trump Dream Cruise put on by the
Michigan Conservative Collis and vote, vote early, and fight, fight fight.

Speaker 1 (01:33:53):
Okay, so you just sidetracked me. I have to mention
this before we let you go. Michean Maddock with us
right now. The Detroit News has a story today and
basically the headline is pol slotckin holds edge over Rogers
as Michigan Senate race. Now, so I don't know that
the polling is accurate anyway. But what I did notice,

(01:34:14):
and they kind of bury the lead here, is if
you look at the numbers that they've got from their
poll here from August to early October, you'll notice something
Slotkin has only picked up it looks like three percentage points.
Mike Rogers has picked up over eight percentage points. And

(01:34:37):
the big gap there are the undecided, you know, the
other voters that are trying to figure out where they're
going to go. He's got the momentum, so I.

Speaker 6 (01:34:46):
Relately, and and the money is pouring into Michigan supporting
Mike Rogers. Tonight he is going to take a part
a list of slot Ken, who is nothing but a
tax sheet. And I I honestly think that this race,
Trump is going to pull mic over and we are
going to have absolute victory on November fifth, and it's

(01:35:08):
going to feel so good. Just it's going to feel
so good.

Speaker 1 (01:35:13):
Well, that's one thing that I will agree with you
if I said this race here is one that I
believe is going to go with the top of the ticket.
That's why this selection. I think most important, maybe not
just our lifetime, but in the nation's history, is we
have major opportunity to write the ship and obviously being
able to take the Senate back if President Trump all

(01:35:35):
the firepower he needs to get things done at that level.

Speaker 6 (01:35:38):
True, and you know what, justin there are no undecided
voters left. There are only voters who for whatever reason,
are apathetic and don't vote. And that's the people that
we need to reach. I am doing my part. I've
reached out to people where I would ask an uncomfortable
question like do you vote or do you have a
plan to vote? People that I'm friends with or that

(01:35:58):
I've worked with that normally I would never talk about
things like this with. You have to do it because
it's the people, it's the votes left behind that are
going to decide this. And even those people know that
things aren't right in America. Everybody feels it, so convincing
those people to just buck up. I talked to a
woman yesterday who was embarrassed because she's actually never voted

(01:36:20):
before and so she just didn't know how to do it.
And I said, you don't have to be embarrassed. Walk
into your clerk with your driver's license and tell them
you want to vote. I said the first time, this
is the most important vote. I don't care that you've
never voted before. This is the most important election you'll
ever you'll ever participate in.

Speaker 1 (01:36:38):
Well that's I one percent agree with you. There's no
truer words, Mishan Maddick. Folks want to follow up and
stay up to date with you. What's the best way
for them to do that?

Speaker 6 (01:36:48):
The Michigan Conservative cooali ish dot com or I'll follow
us on Facebook Michigan Conservative Coalish and on Facebook.

Speaker 1 (01:36:56):
You got it. Thank you and always appreciate you. We'll
be talking soon.

Speaker 6 (01:37:01):
Thanks justin God bless you.

Speaker 1 (01:37:02):
You two fight, fight, fight and vote Vote Vote again.
The Trump Woodward Dream Cruise happening this weekend, they say,
Dream no More cruising Woodward from noon to three October twelfth.
All the details we got to make sure we put
up online in the stack as well, and I've tweeted

(01:37:23):
