Keeping Pace: Getting Started with Training for "20 in 21"

Emery Songer hosts the first edition of Keeping Pace powered by the IMT Des Moines Marathon for 2021! This year celebrates "20 in 21" as the marathon turns 20 years old. Race Director Chris Burch joins the show to talk about the difficulties of the last 12 months but some of the great ways that people can participate in the IMT Des Moines Marathon this year. Christina McCleary talks about the relationship with Children's Cancer Connection with the marathon and how people can help their non-profit organization. Finally, Carissa Galloway joins the show to talk about her journey to becoming the 2021 Race Announcer for the IMT Des Moines Marathon and ways people can begin their training for October's races.
