Glennellen's project, "unbirthday." is a (5) song EP which is set to release April 9th, 2021. The EP builds a magically detailed mental wonderland that showcases Anderson's inner demons and delights. Synthy layers of curated textures and sounds compliment her dreamscape lyrics. A darkness creeps below the surface of Anderson's quirky dance tracks that leads you away, into the all encompassing spiral that is the inner workings of her mind. It will feature all originals. Her genre / style is classified as powerhouse dream pop. Her sound is an infusion of Lana Del Rey, Aurora, UPSAHL, Dua Lipa, Charlotte Lawrence, Maggie Rogers and SIA.
The title "unbirthday." is coined by the 364 days of the year we spend anticipating the one day out of the year where we celebrate our birth. For Glennellen, the 364 days leading up to her birthday instead focused on a rebirth. Several aspects of her life had to die in order for a new era to begin.
