Speaker 1 (00:00):
So you guys just played the Cincinnati Bengals. I don't know,
a few games ago technically into last season. How much
usually changes for a team, even if they changed defensive
coordinators from a game just a few times ago to now.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It's football. I'm always thinking that. I answer is football.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yeah, we played them later late last season, but I mean,
they don't have their superstar quarterback.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Who cares the.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Quarterback they have now, I can still make the throws
to the elite receivers that he's throwing them too.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
It seems like this season right now they're having a
tough time stort of getting their run game on track,
their last in the league. But I know for you guys,
that really doesn't seem to matter very much in the
way you approach it, does it not?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Really? I mean, they're struggling running the ball.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
We're kind of struggling and stopping the runs, and we
plan on stopping and running this game, and I guarantee
you they plan on running the ball.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
So I mean, it's it's week to week.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
So what do you assess to that when you talk
about some of the difficulties stoping the runs. I know
last year that was a really big emphasis for you
and and this year it's very earleased with a lot
of time. But what's what's the thought there.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Is mad early. It is way too early to panic.
Stop and run is a priority, and it's gonna happen.
It's gonna happen once we get some leads on teams,
they won't have to run the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
So yeah, simple when.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
You look at guy like Jake Browning, who obviously this
is the first time around. A couple of years ago
he got quite a long stretch of playtime. Now he
got his first start just last week. Do you go
back to a couple of years ago to watch tape
on this guy just to get a sense of him,
or do you kind of more with the more recent
stuff because that's where he's at now more recent.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
No people develop over time.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
We all developed, So so we give him the respect
to know that he has developed.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
For the defensive line.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
For the add rushers, you guys are number one in
the league again in sacks, so that that is something
that is working getting after the quarterback.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
How is that something that you guys.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Can carry over a year over year like like as
far as being prolific that who's.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Gotten to right, guy guys.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
From Coop to John Zach to Nick myself, any just
missing a couple of guys, But I mean we got
the right people.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
We just got the right people that.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Want to when it comes third down, they pin their
ears back in, they and they know what to do.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You guys have a couple of gut wrenching kind of
endings to these last games. You haven't trailed at all
in the fourth quarter of either game. But you guys
got a lot of leadership in this locker room. What
have you guys been talking about this week is first,
you know, sort of closing out games.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Just dig deep and finish. There's not much to talk about.
Like you said, we've had to lead in before, so
let's just hold that lead. Let's let's get off the
field and an offense keep scoring last couple here for you.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
So when it comes to this game, you guys got
Philly coming up, another physical game. It really doesn't seem
like there's any break at all for you guys, especially
on the defensive side of the ball. Every single week
is a kind of a new different type of test,
doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I mean, as far as looking ahead, we're not We're
worried about Cincinnati, worry about the Bengals, worried about their
offense right now.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Like primetime games. Love them, Love.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Them, I mean, who who who doesn't. Man's the whole
world's watching, just another opportunity to put it on film.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Thank you to Ja, Thank you
