Speaker 1 (00:00):
A great catch by Courtland Sutton, Denver touchdown twenty yards strike.
Sutton got dumped in the end zone, but bo nicks
a laser shot. Sutton went up cradle that it came
down on the small of his back.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
What a play, what a pass?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Right before halftime, It was like sixteen seconds left in
the clock when they threw that touchdown pass, I wondered.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Sean Payton talked about it after the fact.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
First, that was our electrifying play of the game, powered
by IBW Local sixty eight. Start with the job in
with a career visit ibe W sixty eight dot com.
Here' Sean Payton talking about that touchdown pass at the
end of the game or into the half.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
Sorry, it's a great call by him in A great
throw and catch by Sutton. You start those drives thinking
field goal.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Be smart.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
We start the second half of the ball and then
you midstream adjust and quickly we were crossed midfield and
now your mind set changes, and that was a big
certainly a big play at the end of the half.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
A huge play was at a huge play, no doubt
about it.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
That was our Sean Payton presser replay presented by ramos
Law doctor lawyer partner find out what makes them better
at ramoslaw dot com.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
It's a great play.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
I mean, honestly, when Marvin Mims caught the twenty eight
yarder then left sideline and we had to call her
a moment ago referencing that I think it is Marty
and that that'd mean that was a big play and
it kind of had to happen.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
And then you got into field goal range you kind
of wonder, Okay, what are they gonna do here?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
And Tyler Bidet got the short to check down then
he ran out of bounds with I mean, that was
a heads up play by Tyler.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Saving you time.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
And then yeah, I mean you sort of worked down
position there to get that touchdown. I think, let's see here,
you have the Tyler Badet for eleven yards, he got
out of bounds, had an incompletion to Tyler Baday with
twenty one seconds left, so you had seventeen seconds left
on the clock, and then you hit Corlan Sutton. No,
(02:05):
I take that back twenty one seconds. And then you
hit Corland Sun for an eight yard gain and you
decline an off side penalty, and then you go for
the twenty yard touchdown.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
Pack.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
I mean, that was just it was perfect, absolutely perfect execution.

(02:35):

eighty five, eighty five. We still have one more fifty

You gotta be local Denver or bowler. But we still
have one more to give away, so keep listening for that.
Back to the phones we go, and Pat in Arizona,
you're up next year on broncos React. Had a lot
(02:57):
of callers tonight, a lot of new callers tonight.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
We appreciate you guys.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
What's up, Pat, Hey, I'll called a few times before
a great, great show. I mean, David Logan, you you
guys really bring a good game to the people. You
explain things you're not goofing off. I mean, you're doing
a real good job.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
It's like you said, on any given Sunday, two teams
that beat us barely, the Colts and the Chargers. Look
at they they both lost close games this last weekend.
And I'll tell you it's like Marvin Nims in the
twenty eight yard touchdown that you know, and bow knicks
(03:41):
with that interception, all right, if you're gonna throw one,
that would be the perfect place because that was fourth
down and we were lost. You know, if you're throwing away,
you know, with exchange. But of course it would have
put it on the one yard line. But I mean
for the stats, it's it's bad for Bow and stuff.
But I tell you what, he keeps trying. He keeps trying,
(04:04):
and that's why I like about this young man. He
really plays the game, and he's he's gambling a little
bit more this year, which maybe has gotten him in
trouble with a lot of people, you know, and they're
not believing in him, but believe in him and believe
in this team. I mean the many penlies they had,
so it's a little undisciplined, but they're getting better. They're
(04:26):
improving every week. They're improving. Even when they were losing
those two close games, they are improving. Now the big
test comes. We're going to Philly. But you know what,
you never know. Philly may be an empty shell. Who
knows how good they really are. I mean we haven't
played the Broncos, haven't really played Silly a lot in
(04:47):
the history of the you know of both teams, and
it's gonna it's gonna be an exciting game. I can't wait.
I mean, it's it's gonna be great. I'm gonna listen
to you guys, and you bring me the game and
I I can't watch the game. I never get to
see the game. But the uh, it's this is fantastic
and another great just a great win. And I did
(05:11):
Bo Nicks and his wide receivers, John Elway and the
theory of magos go way back to Craig Morton and
Haven Moses mm connection. I mean, it's exciting, guys, I
mean it really is. And we are very lucky. I
mean they've put together great ownership too. There's the key.
(05:33):
Great ownership and this one to put in a word
for the punter, that guy is really good. That rookie
day we've got. He is very very good, and of
course our field goal kicker. I mean he's I mean,
he's had some heartbreaks. But man, I tell what, we're
looking good. Guys were literally looking good. And I think
if everybody has say thing kind of tongue.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
In cheek, all right, pat, Hey, listen, I got a
lot of phone calls, and I do appreciate the positivity,
and I also appreciate you shouting out every player on
the roster.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
That's all great. But again we got a leg off,
a full lines.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Man.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
I gotta, I gotta let you go.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
But I appreciate you listening. Certainly appreciate the kind words
all the way down in Arizona. Thank you for listening
to nice to our broadcast. But here in the post game,
really good positivity, really good stuff. Back to the phones
we go and Rob in Windsor you're up next year
on Broncos react.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
What's up?
Speaker 7 (06:22):
Rob?
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Hey there, Ryan, thanks for the for having me having
me on.
Speaker 7 (06:27):
Man.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
Man, uh, what a great win, especially after you know
these two previous weeks, and you know it felt good,
you know, for myself, I know for the rest of
the fan base, and you know, I hate to be
you know, throw a wet blanket on it. But you know,
Cincinnati come into town. You know, the way we won
today and the result. I think it's something that you know,
(06:51):
really we should have uh what should have happened. But
like we've seen over the previous two weeks, you know,
our margin for air is still very very very small.
And when we're you know, dropping dropping passes, these penalties,
you know, we've already seen it play out already this
year and it's been four games. I'm hopeful that as
(07:13):
the season progresses, you know, yeah, we'll button that up
a little bit. And I'm not looking for a perfect game,
you know, from you know, any unit on the team.
But I just think it's something that in order for
us to really, you know, perhaps make the next step,
that we need to really just kind of button it
up a little bit. And yeah, so I'll hang up
(07:34):
and let them rest of the callers come in.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Thanks, Ryan, All, I appreciate it. Yeah, that's fair, that's fair.
I mean, it wasn't a perfect game. It was it
wasn't a clean, completely clean game. I'll tell you, well,
let's pause ten seconds for station identification. You're listening to
Broncos React on the KWA Broncos Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Hi, welcome back.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Broncos React rolls on until Midnight's Real three seven, three
eighty five, eighty five. But but there's things, as we
were just talking about a moment ago with call, there
are things to cleaned up. And I think that I've
heard Bonus talk about it, like every single week, he
continues to strive for a perfect game.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Well, he didn't play a perfect game tonight. He played
a very good game.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Twenty nine of forty two impressive, certainly, three and twenty
six passing yards, averaging seven point eight per attempt, very good,
two touchdowns three total, including his rushing touchdown, really good.
But also the interception, and there were some penalties and
there's some mised opportunities. There were some loles, especially in
the third quarter, where he's got to be better. So
(08:29):
once again, I think both things can be true. Right,
you can say the Broncos did what they were supposed
to do, that what they needed to do tonight, But
then simultaneously you could continue to improve and be better
and understand that the competition is only going to ramp up.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Now you got the Eagles this week.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
That's gonna be a tough game, and then after that
you're gonna be on the road in London versus the Jets,
you got the Giants. Those seem like imminently winnable games,
I guess, But you're gonna have to continue to stack performances,
and so what do you do with the streak? Now,
last year they did pretty good, you know, they found
a way to sort of string together some good performances
(09:06):
after some really rough outings early this season. And they
are by far, and I mean they are so far
ahead of where they were at the beginning of last
year in the first four. So far ahead that's not
even debatable. So it was a bit of a reset
to remind everybody. I mean, they were two and two
last year at the same time, but it is a
different feeling of two and two, like significantly different feeling,
(09:27):
especially coming off that Jets game where they won ten
to nine.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
People do do it like, what are we watching here?
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yeah, that's a win, but my goodness, and I remember
having to do a six hour post game after that
talking about a one point win in a monsoon. We're
so far away from that. Back to the phones we go,
and Sage in Coloro Springs is up next?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
What's up stage?
Speaker 9 (09:50):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (09:50):
How's going?
Speaker 10 (09:51):
I love the show driving home to Caloro Springs and guys,
keep the energy up and appreciate it.
Speaker 9 (09:57):
I haye.
Speaker 11 (09:57):
Two comments.
Speaker 10 (09:58):
One, I wonder how much Peyton goes and turns back
the pages on the old Oregon Offensive playbook to maybe
steal some some tips from them to get Franklin and
bow Nicks connected. And then too, I wondering if anybody
wanted to let Sean Payton know that Mile Hiat City
only has room for one joker and he's the best
basketball player in the planet. And uh jokes on Evan Ingram,
(10:22):
I think he took a five yard step out of
bounds on that one quest today. Appreciate the phone call?
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yeah, thanks, I dig it man, thank you for the call.
You're right, there is really only one joker. And they
had the media today Media day today that the Nuggets did.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
That was pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
I'm excited about the upcoming season, but the Bronco season
is still rolling.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Honestly, I don't I don't really and.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
I'm a big Nuggets fan, but I don't really get
into Nuggets or Avs personally kind of until I don't
know January. I mean, I'll watch some games here and there,
but it's football season for me. I'm kind of all
in on this. Back to the phones and we'll read
some text here in a second, But Tom Carhaole Springs
is up next here on Broncos React.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
What's up, Tom?
Speaker 7 (11:04):
Hey, how's it going, man?
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I'm doing great. I'm doing great things for.
Speaker 7 (11:07):
Calling in absolutely so. I'm a big Broncos fan, but
I'm also a big FANTAUS football player, and I know
the Bengals defense is one that we all want to
target players on. I just want to get your thoughts
on maybe the fact that the Bengals were really bad today.
I'm really positive at the Broncos this year, but the Bengals.
You know, how much of that was that defense being poor?
Speaker 12 (11:26):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Always? Definitely, No, that's a big part of it. Oh listen,
there's no denying that fact.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Tom, and we talked about it a ton of the pregame,
talked about it over the course of the week on
KO Sports. It's an underperforming defense, but that was sort
of expected, Like the Bengals made all their investments on
the offensive side of the ball, and yeah, they floated
some money to Trey Hendrickson. But the reality is they
didn't do a lot on the defense. The one big
move they made was Tamar Stewart in the first round,
(11:51):
which he wasn't playing tonight.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
He was hurt. But it's an underperforming, if not bad.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Defense, it's just what it is, and so this was
always going to be you hoped a bit of a
right game for the offense. What you didn't know is
there were times where Cincinnati offensively, even with Jake Browning
out there, we're still a formidable team. That's what we
didn't know. We didn't know how good they were going
to be tonight. But they look like they sort of
(12:17):
continued off their performance against Minnesota last week, which was
a disaster, an abject disaster. So it's a team in
a tough way. They're two and two right now, so
the season isn't over. But I imagine most Cincinnati fans
coming out of these two games are gonna have a
hard time.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Finding some positivity.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
So I guess, if I understand your point, you're saying, well,
it's a bad defense, so shouldn't the Broncos offense do well? Well, yeah,
I mean should, but it's the league there's nothing guaranteed,
nothing at all, And that would have been held against
the Broncos tonight if they struggled, like if this was
ended up being like a ten to three win, and
say well, I mean you'll one, but you should you
(13:02):
should have done better, and that would have been a
fair comment. It's hard to say after twenty eight to three,
although we had the one caller earlier saying they should
have won forty five to three. So there's that, all right,
Three out three seven, three, eighty five, eighty five, five, six,
six nine zero.
Speaker 2 (13:18):

Network, they bring mems in motion hand between them, the
jet sweep memes inside, the ten mems inside, the five
Marvin memes to the gold line touchdown Denver sixteen yard
jet sweep and mems got a good block outside and
then the Speechter took it down the east sideline into
the south end zone and Denver, with their second touchdown
(13:59):
now bounces in front thirteen to three with the extra
point pending.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Great play by Marvin Mims. Again questionable for this game tonight.
He came in with a hip injury that he's somehow
came up on Saturday's practice. Certainly great to see that
he was able to go tonight. They needed him as
a big time performance from Marvin Mims.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Welcome back to Broncos. React.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
I'm Ryan Edwards. We're on until midnight. We will get
back to the text line. One question here, Ryan, why
do the Broncos trade de von Vley if they aren't
going to use Pat Bryant. I believe that we're gonna
see more out of Pat Bryan. And by the way,
I want to think, I think it was that run. Yeah,
it was on that specific play for Marvin Mims that
(14:41):
Pat Bryant had one of the key blocks and ended
up getting Marvin Mims into the Inzell. So he is
being used. It's just so far not as much in
the passing game. And I think that's still to come.
Like I'm not I wouldn't be selling stock in Pat Brian.
I think that the just an investment there. But his
time will come. You will continue to see more opportunities
(15:03):
for Pat Bryant. But in the meantime, I mean between
the top three guys and we're barely even using Evan
Ingram at this point. Right between Corlin Sudden, Marvin Mims,
and Troy Franklin, that's pretty solid. And then you're working
at Evan Ingram and a little bit of your tight ends,
your other tight ends as well. I think tonight, not
(15:24):
only do that, I'm traveling catch up a couple of passes.
Adkins caught a couple of passes, and then you have
your running backs out of the backfield. I don't worried
too much about Pat Bryant being in the mixed.
Speaker 8 (15:32):
Now.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
If you do an injury to one of your top
three wide receivers and Pat Bryan is thrust into a
much bigger role as a receiver, then we'll see what
he's made of. We'll see what that's about. But in
the meantime, I'm pretty good. Back to the phones we
go again, moron until midnight and Kyle san Antonio is
up next here, what's up, Kyle.
Speaker 11 (15:52):
What's up?
Speaker 12 (15:52):
Ryan?
Speaker 9 (15:53):
You already know what it is. Got the PHL, got
the woolve socks on for the game. You know, I
had had a pretty up and down day, but you
know what, always always good to end the day with
the Broncos gubs, so, you know, and it's hard to
come about these. You know, you only get eighteen chances
to win a game in the NFL, so you know,
it's always always good to see it dub and you know,
(16:15):
don't want to be wet blanking all right, you know,
but I don't like the I don't like the penalties.
I just don't like how, you know, Tiki taking these
penalties are coming off. I especially didn't like how it
felt like they were attacking Riley Moss in the beginning
in the first quarter for you know, simple just again
like Tiki tacking things. But other than that, you know,
(16:37):
there's not really a whole lot I you know, want
to complain about, like you say, eighteen chances to win
a game in the NFL. So it's just, you know,
blessed to see one to Know this week, and you know,
hopefully we can make it one to Know next week
and we can just keep this party rolling, and I
know we got a tough tesch against the Eagles, but
if we can go out there and beat the Eagles,
and I think we can go out there and beat
any team in the NFL. So that's just how I'm feeling. So,
(16:59):
like I said, like Shelby Harris always said to, you know,
just's making one to o this week, and it's making
one to o against the freaking Eagles. Because would I
love to see Nick Siriani's like just smug face, just
absolutely sitting here wondering how the Broncos beat them in
their own So let's do it.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
Ryan.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
I did like the I like the energy, I like
the PSL talk. I like the wool socks. All that's good,
Kyle appreciate the call, man. Yeah, I mean, and we've
talked about it even last week, and I know that
some of it felt like maybe some copium coming off
two gut wrenching losses. But I really do believe the
Broncos are about to go on a bit of a
run here, whether whether they win this Eagles game or not.
(17:36):
You got the Jets, you got the Giants, got the Cowboys,
who their defense is maybe the worst.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
In the league.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Next to Baltimore's very prolific offense though, so that's something
to keep in mind.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
But it's here in Denver.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
You got Houston, who did get a shutout over Tennessee,
but honestly, that didn't really do much for me. You
got Las Vegas, who continues to make a lot of mistakes,
and then you got the Chiefs, who looks good today,
but it's been uneven at best so far to start
the season. The Broncos are positioned very nicely here. The
Chargers lost, the Raiders lost, the Chiefs did win. So
(18:12):
the Chiefs are now two and two, Chargers are three
and one, and the Raiders are one and three. You're
in really good position. It's a good spot, Donald, you
have next year on Broncos react with Ryan Edwards with
up Donald.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
Not much, but bow Knicks was awesome in the deep,
so since even better?
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Well, no doubt, man.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
I complete win tonight and it was great to see
bo Nicks bounce back. I thought that tonight he looked
a lot more poised, a lot more comfortable.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yeah, and I also saying that we'll be able to
take on the Eagles next week.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Oh yeah, why is that?
Speaker 10 (18:55):
Because bow is awesome.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
I mean, honestly, I'm with you on that.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
Like I think, if Bonix plays like you did tonight,
they will have a chance. They will absolutely have a chance.
And then you're gonna need the defense to get some
stops too. But I'm with you on that.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
I like that. I like that perspective. Donald, anything else, Yeah, no,
go Broncos.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Go Broncos. Thanks for calling me, man, I appreciate it.
Profit and Boulder, what's out?
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Profit?
Speaker 6 (19:21):
Ryan?
Speaker 5 (19:22):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (19:23):
I'm great, man? How are you a little?
Speaker 11 (19:24):
I'm a little late to the party because of your
busy singles. I'm dying, but I'd be trying to squeeze
in the rest of the year. That was a huge win,
a lot more likes than dislikes. But how are you
feeling it? You're feeling good after this one, aren't you?
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
I mean it's hard to be two down about a
twenty eight to three win in front of your home
crowd in primetime.
Speaker 11 (19:47):
Absolutely, San Diego lost, Raiders lost, Chiefs throw only two
and two. Everything's right there despite us. At least it
have one more, two more wins. I brought up this before,
bring it up again. You can have to steal one
that you're not supposed to win to get to the
eleven wins and maybe a home game at Dare. I
say twelve, and it's not impossible. You're a little bit behind.
(20:08):
I'm not saying it has to be Philadelphia. I don't
think it's impossible. But again, you know my I'm gonna
stick with my free season. Pick Broncos eleven wins and
win a playoff game, and we'll see what happens. I
think it's a little less possible with the two AFC losses,
but not impossible that they got some good talent. Their
defense was other than that first drive was just lights
(20:30):
out today. I think despite only scoring a touchdown the
second half, what the Broncos offense did is with that lead,
the Broncos offense kind of acted as their defense. They didn't.
They only got the touchdown, but it took time off
the clock, gave their defense arrest. You know, got Cincinnatian
bad field position with at least getting a few first downs.
(20:54):
So not a perfect game, but you know, I blame
most of those two losses on our own offense and
what we did differently with our offense this game. Despite
the opponent, we did the four minute offense. You know
what I mean, The game was mostly not in doubt,
but then you delivered the knockout punch, you know, to
go up twenty eight to three. At the end of
the game. You were able to run the ball. Obviously,
(21:15):
should be tougher against Philadelphia, but you know, despite being undefeated,
Philadelphia's defense isn't exactly an iron curtain either. I mean,
they've given up some points this year. I don't I mean,
I think it's possible to come up with the win
this week, but the defense really wow. I mean, other
than that first drive offense, you can always score more points.
(21:39):
But I like how we got a hundred yard rusher
and how we were able to control the clock in
a second half because you know, what if if you
go if you get some three and outs in that
second half. I'm not saying it is a different game.
I'm saying, maybe, you know, you you could have had
a little bit more of a I'm not saying they
blow the game, but you could have had a little
(21:59):
bit more nervous going on there. You know what I mean.
The offense really helped the defense today.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
I thought I thought so tooit I thought so too.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Is complimentary all the way around, and the moments where
and thanks for the call, the moments where the Broncos
offense seemed to be losing their footing just a little bit,
the defense kind of hung in there right the other
two losses, to your point, the other two losses felt
like as the offense started to slip control, the defense
also slipped and that's where again the complimentary nature went
(22:33):
the other way. But tonight it was one of those
situations where just when the Broncos offense were maybe having
a couple of sputter moments, especially in the third quarter,
the defense picked up the slack.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
This is gonna be a lot of fun to rewatch
this game, for sure.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
We're gonna take a quick break right back on the
KWA Broncos radio network.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Dobbins the loan back, tight trips left, Mims comes in motion.
They pitch it to Dobbins left side. Dobbins has the edge.
Here we go fifteen. Dobbins pushed out of bounds as
he got to the Phi team with the big run.
That's Jordan Battle. He's got to be close to one
hundred right there. That's a gain of sixteen and he's
over one hundred yards. That breaks a streak of thirty
(23:10):
seven straight games, the longest active streak in the NFL
and one that you don't really want of the Broncos
without a hundred yard rusher in a single game.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Just remarkable, I mean absolutely, thirty seven games. By the way,
is there anything better in sports than Dave Logan saying
here we go? Quite literally, one of my favorite things
that ever happens on these broadcasts. And I'm a bit
of a nerd in that respect, but for Broncos fans
out there, when Dave goes here we go, you just
(23:44):
it's like a jolt of energy.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Drink immediately. So JK.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Dobbins, that's sixteen yard run put the Broncos over with
their first one hundred yard rusher in thirty seven games.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Pretty cool stuff. Welcome back to Broncos React.
Speaker 3 (23:59):

(24:21):
We're gonna get an NFL scoreboard check here in just
a matter of moments. But back to the phones, and
Andrew san Diego's up next year?
Speaker 2 (24:27):
What's up? Andrew?
Speaker 5 (24:29):
Always a pleasure Ryan doing well. It was great to
be back in the stadium. Felt like, you know, I
didn't miss a game, because I would say went to
the first home game, went to the Chargers game, and
then went to tonight's game. As I was sitting there,
I was thinking, Man, I can't wait to call Ryan
tonight and be able to talk about pumpkin spice latte
(24:49):
after a great win. And also just trying to figure
out this offense. And I think, I know you mentioned
that you're not a big Nuggets stand but I I
finally think I figured out what our offense identity is,
and I think it's a Michael Porter junior offense. Very
hot when it's hot, and very cold when it's cold.
I mean it's it was so how do I say?
(25:13):
It was like moments were exciting and then it puts
you to sleep. And it was because of those inconsistencies
in the game, and it's very frustrating when you come
out of the halftime. You're like, you got you got
touched down before to half and you're like, okay, maybe
we can get touchdown coming out of half, and it
just just cannot get over to hump. It's like our curse.
(25:34):
And I don't know if it's there out of rhythm.
I don't know what halftime's like, but it's just like
I would love for a game to come out of
halftime and just score touchdown like like we did in
the in the in the final four minutes of the
fourth quarter.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Well, for what it's worth, very quickly, Andrew, and you
were at the game the last week against the Chargers.
They came out at halftime, went right down the field
with JK. Dobbins basically ranted every single time. Right, But
it's not typical. It's not typical. To your point, it's
not typical.
Speaker 5 (26:01):
Right because the game one and game two, Game one
and Game two, it was just like they were not
getting it, just like yet. It's kind of like that
Michael Porter Jr. Like you're when you're hot, you're hot.
When you're cold, you're cold. And I would just like
to see them come out consistently, put together some good,
nice drives another the start of the game. I don't
know what we got to do, but I'm really concerned
(26:23):
with Riley Moss. I think we got lucky because I
think we put a lot of pressure on Jake Browning.
But going forward, Riley Moss is a liability. I mean
in the first quarter they.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Were come on after tonight, so you can say that
after tonight, Andrew I am.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
I am worried because it's like I thought that against
the Charters, I thought against even the Titans. I mean
it's like with the Eagles, could this be a j
brown get right game? I mean, he hasn't been hot.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
You know.
Speaker 5 (26:50):
I'm just a little concerned. I'm just bringing it out there.
But that was one thing. And then and the other
thing I want to say is before it it off,
is that I really want to hit this home with
Bronco fans. It's like, guys, don't drink the champagne kool aid.
I am loving this progress with this team. If we
(27:12):
reached ten plus wins, if we went ten wins, it's
a successful season. I love where we're going. The o
Nicks is playing He's playing not like great football, but
he's playing good enough football that he eventually he'll play
great football. We'll get there, and Ryan, I love your show.
I can't wait to call him next week after the
Eagles game and have a great weekend, sir, or a
(27:34):
great week sir.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Yeah, same to you, Andrew, Thanks so much for the call.
I'm I'm gonna push it back a little bit on
Riley Moss. I thought he did right. I mean, I
think he gave two catches in the first you sent
me that stat moment. Ago Zac suecers like two catches
early on, almost had a long catch against him. T
Higgins would have been like a thirty seven yarder but
called it back on penalty, so it's nothing. But he
hung in there those matchups. I mean, regardless of the
(27:58):
quarterback throwing. T Higgins and Mark Chaser, they're tough and
he was in phase. I mean he was in phase
all night long with both guys. I mean he had
moments where he had to cover both players and I
thought he was tremendous. So I definitely don't agree with
being a liability, but he's gonna have a tough tesk.
I mean DeVante Smith and AJ Brown and Dallas Goddard.
(28:20):
I mean that's that's a good receiving crew. Let's see,
it's a really good team. They won a Super Bowl
this last year for a reason. We'll right back on
the KWA Broncos Radio network. Well, it is Monday Night football,
which means we have wrapped up Week four in the NFL.
Let's go and take a look at the NFL scoreboard.
We start with the Sunday morning game in London. Steelers
(28:41):
gonna big win over the Minsial Vikings.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
First and goal from the four.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Washington in motion behind him back to gain while it
goes running.
Speaker 10 (28:48):
Over left tackle and Gaine Well is in for another
Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown.
Speaker 7 (28:54):
Second touchdown today for Kenneth Gainwell here in Dublin.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
That's Kate Scott with west Wood one on the call.
Twenty four to twenty one was the final nice filming
work for Kenneth Gainwell. Jalen Warren was out of this game.
He had nineteen carries for ninety nine yards two rushing touchdowns.
Also added in their six catches for thirty five. DK
Metcalf with a big game five catches for one to
twenty six relatively easy game I think overall for Pittsburgh,
(29:19):
though Minnesota made it interesting with fifteen points in the
fourth quarter. But you know, in the end, I never
really thought Pittsburgh was gonna lose this game. And so
they improve to three to one now in the AFC
and the Vikings fall to two and two. The amunt
of Falcons get a bounce back win.
Speaker 12 (29:36):
Fall at the Commander fourteen and a three point league.
Pennix will bring London through the formation of the left
handed to Robinson. Wi John bounces inside the ten Kats
has faded the pop stands in the intel touchdown Atlanta,
What a run.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
West Durham Sports Radio ninety two nine, the game of
the Falcons Radio Network. I'm a huge fan of Bejon Robinson.
He is an unbelievable player. What a game for him.
Seventy carries for seventy five yards in a touchdown. Also
added four catches for one hundred and six yards. He's
just ridiculous. Atlanta was shut out last week versus Carolina.
(30:12):
You knew that they would play better, but it was a.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Tough one here.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Washington also scored in some late points, making this one
a bit closer. They're gonna get Jaden and Daniels back
next week, which they're gonna very much look forward to.
If they followed two into Atlanta, improves to two and two,
and yeah, that's a game that I think the Falcons,
like we talked about tonight for the Broncos, they needed
for morale purposes, just to know that they could do it.
We move on the Buffalo. Bell's easy work over the
(30:38):
New Orleans Saints.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Makes the snap, fakes.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
The throat of the flat, looks now the sideline.
Speaker 11 (30:43):
He's got concaid, who's gonna walk it in for a
twenty three yard touchdown.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Fake to the flat, throw to the sideline, and it's easy, peasy,
lemon squeeze.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
That's Chris Brown WGR Sports Radio five point fifty in Buffalo.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Josh Allen, it's kind of a weird game.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
It felt for a while like Buffalo just kind of
showed up with their big game.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
But it was clearly enough.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Josh Allen only two hundred nine passing yards, he took
three sacks through his first pick of the season, Els
rush for forty five yards. It just wasn't like an
overwhelming list statistic big game. But they got fourteen points
in the first quarter and it kind of felt like
their crews from there. James Cook, by the way, maybe
underpaid at this point. Twenty two carries for a buck
seventeen and a touchdown. Also had three catches for eighteen yards.
(31:30):
He's phenomenal as well, and it goes to show you
what happens when you have one of those kinds of
running backs. James Cook looking all the way he should
as a franchise running back, as he held out this
season for a bigger contract. The Detroit Lions all over
our guy, Shelby Harris's Browns.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Not a great punt, It's gonna come up in the
fielder that took thirty four makes the first man miss there,
gives the forty Lee Bank League at the forty to
the forty five to forty to the twenty fourth, say
good bye, comey Frayman to the house, touts down to
front Lions.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
Wow baby, what a run.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Back, Broncos great Cliff Rayman as Dan Miller Lamas Brown.
Detroit Lions Radio Network a w x Y T thirty
four to ten was the final. Pretty easy work overall.
Joe Flacco two picks in the game, four sacks, and
he actually had two fumbles. They only credit him with
one because one got called back on penalty. But I
have no idea what the Browns are gonna do going forward.
(32:29):
But Joe Flacco, as many predicted, does not look to
be it. Meanwhile, the Patriots with a resounding win over
the Panthers.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
The thirteen start back to his wife escape.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Along the sideline forty, then went to the forty, to
the funny, to the twenty, to the ten, to the end.
Speaker 11 (32:50):
Zode touts down Patriots.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Bob Socie, Scott's got Scott Zolac ninety eighty five of
the Sports Hub Patriots Radio network called forty two to thirteen.
In fact, Drake May, I don't think played much in
the fourth quarter.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
They didn't really need him.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
This game was kind of out of hand by the
second quarter, when they scored twenty one points. Travon Henderson
finally getting in the end zone. He got his first
career touchdown, another touchdown for Antonio Gibson on the goal line.
Drake May got a rushing touchdown, Hunter Henry got another touchdown.
Everybody ate in this one, and that was a nice
punt return short of the cap off in the second quarter,
(33:28):
the Giants.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
The Giants. How about those Giants.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Start in a shotgun set, second and goal at the
three dark call signals, takes the snap, little shovel pass
to THEO.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
Jotson makes the catch head of the end zone, puts
down Giants.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
Oh, we love the Giants, that is Bob Papa w
fa N Giants Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
I mean, I really love the Giants.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
We love them yesterday because they beat the Chargers twenty
one to eighteen.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
O Marion Hampton went off in this game.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Now the big news, of course, as myliite Neighbors tells
tears his acl so that that is bad news for
the Giants. They get their first win in the season,
but they needed to do that. They got the debut
of Jackson Dart, some good vibes there, but in the end, I.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Mean, golly, that's just losing.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Milik Neighbors that that team's going nowhere. But they might
have their franchise quarterback and that's really what matters.
Speaker 10 (34:22):
Move on.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
The Philadelphia Eagles the Broncos next opponent. They get a
big win of the Buccaneers.
Speaker 8 (34:27):
And the punt it's Texan and the return.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Johann thoughts, it's.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Block and it's picked up and running with the football
and scoring.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
It is Sydney on the block.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
Punk that is the Philadelphia Eagles Radio network on the call.
The great Melowys always does a really good job. Sports
Radio ninety four w i p Jalen Hurts one hundred
and thirty passing yards, two touchdowns, took a couple of sacks,
and nine carries for sixty two yards. I mean he
really wasn't special. Saquon Barkley nineteen carre forty three yards
(35:00):
not special.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
But the defense and special teams.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
That's something over the course of this week we will
be talking about a lot is how good Philly's defense
and special teams are. And if the Broncos don't come
correct when those two categories, this is gonna be a
rough one.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Credit.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
By the way, Tampa Bay they kept fighting, I mean
they kept fighting. It was a twenty four to six
lead at halftime. Tampa Bay scores fourteen points in the
thirty score five in the fourth to make this a game.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Bucky Herving was ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
I mean he had five catches for one hundred and
two yards of a touchdown a Mecca Abuka. By the way,
Broncos fans staff sending the a Mecca Abuka should have
been a Bronco. He went before him, I picked in nineteen.
This is knock it off, all of you. I'm tired
of seeing that, like what could have been, what should
have been a Mecha. Buka was never meant to be
a Bronco. Big fan though, really big fan, but not enough.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
They fall.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
They're three and one, Eagles are four to zero. Texans
with a shutout win over the Titans twenty six nothing.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Not a lot's right in this one. I don't think.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
I think the Texans are frauds, but they might still
sneak into the playoffs somehow.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
I don't think so. I think there's a lot.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
The AFC's a weird conference right now because the Colts lost.
The Colts lost the Rams. I don't I'll tell you
how they lost. But first here's the Rams. Stafford from
his own twelve yard line has a snap locked the
ball left side two two's open, hoping this owner.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Cast party to do down the left side line with
the paper tail behind him. Ten five touchdown that line.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
That's JB.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Long sevent toen ESPN Los Angeles in the call eighty
Mitchell I'm a big eighty Mitchell fan. But the dude
dropped a touchdown like an eighty yard touchdown at the
goal line.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
We still do that. That still happens, apparently.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
And then on another touchdown, a Jonathan Taylor running touchdown,
he got called for offensive holding.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Didn't even need to do it.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
So two touchdowns wiped off the board for the Colts
and they lose.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
To the Rams. That's a gut wrenching loss.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Two of them wiped off the board when they were
near certainty, and both by the same player. The Jacksonville
Jaguars the afterwards with Liam Cohen and Robert Saw you
gotta go see it. I can't repeat any of the language,
but it's tremendous. And by the way, congratulations to Jacksonville.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
Will to win. They run it to the left side
of the ETM gott.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
It to forty five to forty thirty five thirty Prouns
hold on the fourth side line fifteenth ten five into
the end, touchdown on the first play after the takeaway.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Trevise Dn in the car, Yeah, Frank Fi Yeah, Frank Frangie.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Jeff Legerman Jacksonville Jaguars radio networking to call big win
for them on the road twenty six twenty one, people
were wondering if they were for real or not.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Are in Zack seekers wondered if they were for real.
I've heard you talk about them negatively.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
They got like three returnovers every single game this year,
multiple huge special teams plays. They win twenty six to
twenty one. The Chiefs with thirty seven twenty I'm not
playing Chiefs highlights. I'm done with Chiefs highlights. We're good,
they go, they won this game. Ravens tapped out, Congratulations Chiefs.
The Bears, Oh my goodness. The Chicago Bears.
Speaker 8 (38:19):
Caleob takes the snap swift in.
Speaker 9 (38:21):
A tight pocket.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
The throw of the Jack n zone touchdown, touchdown Bears.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
What a great throw by Caleb Williams. What doing say
cutting it front Kieu, Blue.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Kelly and as Jeff Joniac Chicago Bears Radio Network, twenty
five twenty four black field goal at the end wins it.
And then finally last night, Packers and Cowboys played with
tie forty. All entertaining game, but weird, weird ending. Michael
Parsons was kind of not as big a thing that
it ended up being kept waiting for it. Look good
(38:52):
for the Cowboys to represent and not get blown out
by the Packers. A lot of people thought they were
gonna get blown out. Dolphins win the night twenty seven
to twenty one to get their first win on the season.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
Justin Fields did not win. Did not win.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
But there's still time. Yeah, he did throw more touches,
he did throw a touchdown, and he rushed for a touchdown.
All right, we'll be right back. That's our look around
the NFL. We'll be right back on the Kay Broncos
Radio Network. By the way, this from Next Gen Stats.
Patzertan allowed one reception for eight yards across thirteen coverage
matchups with Jamar Chase, including zero receptions on ten matchups
(39:25):
in man coverage.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
That is ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (39:29):
Sirtanna's down matched up against Chase on fifty four career
routes and allowed four receptions for thirty five yards.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
My goodness.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
We'll be right back on the Kay Broncos Radio Network.
Bonicks Replay presented by Dan Kaplis Law, a serious firm
for series cases.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
We've got the quarterback of the Broncos Bo Nicks with
us in the locker room boat. Dave Logan seemed like
you guys really got on track tonight. And with the
exception of maybe the first series, you're able to run
the ball. You got really good protection through the ball
with accuracy. How did the game just overall feel to you?
Speaker 3 (40:00):
Well, I thought we had a good plan and we
ran the ball officially early.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
And when you can run the ball and.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Get you know, first down, second alt, first down again,
it opens up a lot.
Speaker 6 (40:08):
And we weren't in third and longs this time.
Speaker 7 (40:11):
And I thought the.
Speaker 5 (40:12):
Only stretch that was poor was in the.
Speaker 6 (40:14):
You know, early, you know, the third and early fourth quarter.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
Where we just had so many penalties and we were
just killing ourselves.
Speaker 8 (40:21):
But I thought overall, we did good job.
Speaker 6 (40:24):
We ran the ball very efficiently and that's what opened
up everything else.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
All Right, you'll hill the rest of that tomorrow on
Kawai Sports. We'll right back on the KWA Broncos Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Shaking hands with Zach Taylor. Final score from Empower Field
at MAU High number twenty eight Cincinnati three.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
Yeah, the Broncos win tonight twenty eight to three.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
Our next broadcast will be on Sunday, October sixth, the
next Sunday at seven am. And why the way We're
