Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's head back down and talk with the quarterback of
the Denver Broncos bone Knicks bow It's Dave Logan. That's
pretty interesting fourth quarter. You guys showed a lot of
I thought, mental toughness and grit and made a whole
bunch of plays in the fourth quarter. What were a
couple of the keys in your mind to that happening.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
We just started making, you know, spreading the ball around,
going some tempo, and guys just made plays. Cortland made
a couple of good, nice catches, and then everybody else.
I mean, I think the ball were spread around pretty good.
Quite a few guys brought the ball in last couple
drives and moved it so and we also ran the
ball well. We got in some hurry up and we
moved it down the field and we just got touchdowns.

(00:40):
I'm not exactly sure what it was, but we did it.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
You know what, you don't even have to be sure
the fact that you did do it, and that's that's
really what matters. You had three hundred and fifty eight
yards of total offense, two twenty eight throwing it, one
p thirty running it, and as you and I have
talked about it's important to have that kind of balance.
You had it today against a really good defense.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, it was, and it obviously happened late, but I
mean we had to get it done, and our defense
just continued to make stops, and we went down there
and scored touchdowns and got the two point version. Then
the momentum shifted.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I'll get you out here on this because I know
you're dying to get on a plane and fly nine
hours to win a game like this when you've had
a couple of chances and the other team, however, they
found a way to win in the last play of
the game. To be on the field and your team
wins literally on the last play of the game.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Is it a confidence thing? Is it kind of exhaling?
What's the feeling you get from a game like this today?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Well, I don't know what it is. Maybe just the
belief that we can win these close games. We've haven't,
you know, been great at close games. What we got
it done today against a really good football team.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, and enjoy it. I'll talk to you later this week.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
You bet that's bone Nicks in the locker room. Let's
sit down in the middle of the field. Susie Wargen.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
All right, thank you, Davi. I got Evan ingram.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
Evan, I mean found seventeen to three at the half,
and it just seemed like things weren't quite going your way.
And then second half really a really dominant performance by
the offense, including your touchdown. Talk about that and also
the two point conversion.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, No, we just stayed in the game. We stayed
in the game. This NFL is gonna come down to
the last quarter. We knew that we could be better
on offense. We're kind of shooting ourselves on the foot
a little bit, and we just kept going and defense
had our back all day. And what a great win
on the road.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
As soon as you scored that touchdown, everybody, including Sean
Payton was putting up two fingers for the two point?
Was that planned from the beginning? That that's how you
guys were gonna design that.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
It was just we're just playing ball. We're just going
to win. We're just going to win.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
All right.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I'll get one more question here from Evan, and all right,
last question of it, and then just talk about the defense. Gosh,
you had six sacks on Jalen Hurts and you guys
got the ball more often than they did today, which
is nice.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
No, I mean, I'm just glad that we don't got
to play them. I'm glad we don't got to play them.
Those guys are flying around. We knew, we knew once
we got the lead and even the field goal, that
we if we put the game in our defensive hands,
we're gonna be all right. So just credit them and
the way they work, the way they practice every day,
the way they come in and put the team on
our back and and offense, and we gotta keep helping

(03:09):
them out.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
All right.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
We're gonna have a fun playing ride to London.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Right, Awesome, It's gonna be incredible.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
All right, Thanks Evan, all right, Dave back up to you.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Sat down the middle of the field. Susie has another
Bronco player, JK Dobbins.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I I was trying to get JK from the beginning,
and then he had to go say hi to some people,
but he remembered he can't like, dude, you're the best.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I appreciate you.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
Hey, talk about that touchdown and just the offensive performance
in this second half because you're down seventeen three at halftime.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Uh, you know, just keep fighting.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
You know I've said it before, this team is tough,
and I said we're physically tough. Well, we haven't shown
to be mentally tough yet. Today we showed a big
step and we was gonna keep building on that absolutely.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Did you know that? With your gain seventy nine yards today?
So now you've got the most yards.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
On the ground by a Bronco through five games since
two thousand and six.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
It's a long time. How old are you in two
thousand and six?

Speaker 6 (03:52):
I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
I can't tell you right now.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
That's okay, but what a great And then the defense.
I just asked Evan Inger about it.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Those guys played awesome and you guys are out there
a whole lot more than them for a change, which
is nice. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah, we got their back, they got our back. That's
how it goes.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Absolutely. All right. Hey, we're gonna have a good time
in London. Huh yeah, we're good.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
Plane ride right, yes, okay, JK, thank you, Hi everybody?
All right?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Thanks David. Hey, Nick, two and a half sacks.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
So now you're the first guy since von Miller in
twenty fourteen to have three in a row at least
a sack and a half.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
That's pretty good company.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
And six sacks for this defense weren't even out there
as much as you guys normally are. Just talk about
this defensive, especially in the second half holding them scoreless.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
Yeah, man cats off of VJ Man. He gave us
a great plan all week, coach King coach Isasay gave
us a great rush plan all week and really we
just followed our following the rules all week, followed our keys,
and you know it ended up working out for us.
Man we got the.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Dub all right, good job and just now what a
way to go into London getting these guys, I mean
you break a huge home game winning streak they had
and now we go on to an international trip.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
Yeah no, I mean that was a big one for sure.
Once again one that was much due these close ones
we haven't been able to finish, but we found a
way to get one today. So I was really happy
with the team.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Get attacked by a hangar, I'll let you go, all right,
take back up to you
