But they won for the second time as they come

first time the Broncos have felt good after the game ended.

I'm still not clear on how they won. They they
won because they were by far the better team late
in the game. They were better on offense and they

fourteen points down entering the fourth quarter. The Broncos had

twenty eight snaps of offense today in Eagles territory. The
Eagles had twelve on Denver side of the fifty fourteen
of the Denver twenty eight snaps were in the fourth quarter,
so they spent the entire fourth quarter basically in Eagles territory.

This game would have looked a lot easier in that
fourth quarter for the Denver Broncos. They hurt themselves once

either bring pressure or you want to lock up, and
linebacker is gonna get caught on a running back. And
when you get caught on Jonathan Taylor, who's one of
probably the five fastest backs in the league. He plays
for Indy and then you get caught on Saquon Barkley.

You got to make sure you get to the quarterback
because you're not going to cover backs that had that
kind of athletic ability too long. I don't care what
kind of linebacker you are.

When they went back east and played early, they just

We talked about the the difference in rushing. The Broncos

shared a lot of memories about coaching in this division
because he coached.

you know you're not going to forget just these moments.
You know, this trip over to London. Now, ultimately, that's
what you do it for, you know, you're making memories. Yeah,
mister Penner did, and you know it meant a lot.

I told the team what I just told you. I said,
I just had spoken to Bill. But there are a
number of people when we watch this tape, I'm sure
they'll get game balls and and but to get it here,
I grew up here as a kid. My first NFL
job was here nineteen ninety seven, ninety eight, and you know,

grew up on the Flyers, the Eagles, Sixers. Give you
all the lineups. But there's a lot of respect we
have for this team, this coaching staff, and the team
we just played, Zac Bond. I mean, shoot, a number
of these guys that you know, this is a team

that just won the Super Bowl. So it's a good wine.

The thing we did was, you know, when you play
something like that, you're gonna get punched and it's not

And that's that's what I was most encouraged about, just
the fight, the grit, you know, and and then you
felt that this is a funny thing, that momentum shifted.
And when that happened, it's pretty powerful.

Well, it helps any quarterback. If you're a QB.

And you're playing good defense, your job is a little
better and you're running the ball your jobs. But if
you're giving up points and you know, you're asking him
to be on the high dive the whole game. So
I think when you're able to run it, it's going
to help your play action.

Sure enough, we hit.

Hit the tight end on a on a spear route
off a play action like it all kind of fits together,
and you're on schedules. So at the top of my
call sheet was you know, I knew that we weren't
going to have the same run outcomes, but it's kind
of like you don't get an immediate response, but you
know that ultimately.

He's a great weapon. He made some big plays. Obviously

How much has he developed.

He's a super pass rusher.

You guys have seen the confidence just grow and grow
with him. It's a good offensive line. It's quarterback that's

I think when you come from college and I know
they were teammates, but there's a whole different We knew

better at closing games out. I thought we played really

The play he made to get us into field, you know,
that was a huge third down catch and throw. His
confidence and the bow and he now you know, been
together for you know, a good year and a half
two years. You can feel it like I knew he

We handled that game correctly. At the end, I thought

So that the press conference of Sean Payton. Couple of

he mentioned that his team was was really good in
the fourth quarter closing this thing out. Bow Knicks in
the fourth quarter was nine to ten for one hundred
and twenty eight yards and a touchdown. So for those

that keep passer rating at home, like on the nightstand
next to the bed, that's a one hundred and fifty
two point zero eight quarterback rating. I don't know how
to figure that, but you know that number is good.
You know it's a good number. One fifty eight point

will take as very very good. The Broncos, as Sean
Payton said, got better and closed the game out. The
first eight drives for Denver one field goal and seven punts,
the last three drives for the Broncos two touchdowns and
a field goal. Pretty good way to close out of
road victory.

And let's give some love to Nick Benito. Two and
a half more sacks today. Now, seven sacks in five games.
You're really good at map. That's over twenty sacks. He's
on pace for over twenty sacks.

For the season. That's right right now. He's a well
over picked. He's on pace for a big payday at
some point, and he already got one.

than earned that.

He's been really good. A lot of people worried about
him during preseason. He looked a little shaky, but since
the season started he's been really good. One of the
best punters in the league, YEF. The Eagles average drive
start was their own twenty one. If you look at
the Eagles drives in the first half alone, they started
on their twenty ten, fourteen, eleven and five. Their best

field position to start a driving the first half was
their own twenty yard line.

We just started making, uh you know, spreading the ball around,
going some tempo, and guys just made plays. Cortland made
a couple of good, nice catches, and then everybody else.
I mean, I think the ball were.

Spread around pretty good.

Quite a few guys brought the ball in last couple
of drives and moved it so and we also ran
the ball. Well, we got in some hurry up and
we moved it down the field and we just got touchdowns.
I'm not exactly sure what it was, but we did it.

You know what, you don't even have to be sure
the fact that you did do it, and that's that's
really what matters. You had three hundred and fifty eight
yards of total offense, two twenty eight throwing it, one
thirty running it. And as you and I have talked about,
it's important to have that kind of balance. You had
it today against a really good defense.

Yeah it was, and it obviously happened late, but I
mean we had to get it done, and our defense
just continued to make stops and we went down there
and scored touchdowns and got the two point version. Then
the momentum shifted.

than any game they had last year. The closest that
comes to mind, at least from the Sean Payton era,
is probably the primetime game against the Buffalo Bills two
years ago. That game, and I want to say it
was a Monday night football game, but that game for
me was pretty massive considering who Buffalo was. But this

one is bigger. I mean, you're talking about the defending
Super Bowl champions, a team that does not lose at home,
that won twenty of their last twenty one, and they
they found unique ways to win. I mean, there were
moments where you felt like, Okay, well here's here's going
to be that that moment where the Eagles do it right,
where there's going to be blocking the Will LUTs field
goal attempt there at the end, and they're gonna run

back for a touchdown or even run it back into
field goal range, and the Broncos were gonna lose. It
just felt like any moment that the Eagles were gonna
take it over and find a way to win. They
just didn't. And really the credit goes to the Broncos
for not letting them. That's really what it comes down to.
It's not it's not even really about the Eagles that point.
It's about the Broncos not allowing them to put their

position themselves in position to win that game. That's the
most impressive thing to me and most teams do you
know Historically when the Broncos play the Chiefs, and what
a lot of teams playing the Chiefs, they would find
ways to make mistakes, find ways to create errors for
themselves in snowball to a point where they would lose
that game. So credit to this team to put themselves

in a situation and then be unrelenting the two point
conversion that that right there, I'm you're you're on the
road with a chance to tie. Considering everything that had
happened in that game, you had a chance to tie them,
and you said, no, we're going for two. And you
said it right away, like Sean Payton held up his

hand and said we're going for two. After the Evan
Ingram touchdown. Got some stones right there, because if you
don't get that, guess who guess what we're second guessing.
Because the Eagles, who historically are one of the better
running teams, I know they're struggling this year. They're going
to find a way to close out that game on
the ground, and you don't. You probably don't get the
ball back, but instead you get that. So that means
the Eagles have to be aggressive to get down into

field goal range. They don't, and the Broncos get the
ball back on offense and they close that thing out
on offense. I know that eventually the Eagles got a
chance to hail Mary, but the Broncos drive that final
drive of eleven plays fifty yards, milking almost four minutes
off the clock and getting a field goal that was
