Speaker 1 (00:00):
Text line if you want to interact with us. A
lot of texts coming in here on Friday. We're very
appreciative of it. Yeah, good or bad, indifferent, We're here
for all of it. Tonight, six o'clock. A reminder during
Broncos Country tonight, we're replaying Sunday's historic thirty three point
Broncos comeback against the Giants. We're going to replay the
broadcast in its entirety, just the fourth quarter.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Oh wow, yeah, we would We would.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Never subject want to put people through that the first
three course. Although again, I had Rick and Davin's studio
on Wednesday, and Rick was like, going to play the
whole thing, and I'm like, why would we do that?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Why?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
We're not mean, but if you know how it ends,
you stick around and it's that much better.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Well, sure, but I think we could we could just
get to the uh the cream frosting here. I don't
think we have to work our way through dry cake.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
The cream frosting.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Yeah, like like like cream cheese frosting. It's like oh creep,
like yeah, yeah, yeah, you don't have to say like
the sweet frosting is that's you just never heard it
called cream frost I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I don't know what was thinking. I just know I
don't want to judge you for it. Well you can.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Plenty do, but no, I was saying, like, get to
the sweet part, the fun part, and that game, specifically
the fourth quarter was all over the place. I mean,
not only just the way it started. The Broncos get
that tip touchdown Detroy Franklin. Yeah, and then boy off
the races because it's not even just the Broncos scoring

(01:24):
the entire time. It would be fun if it was just, hey,
here's the Broncos scoring thirty three straight points against his opponent.
But then they got to tip touchdown on the next drive,
they got the deep DPI against Riley Moss and the
drama that came out of that made fun by the
way earlier this week, And we'll probably do this a
little bit more going forward where we especially if it's

(01:45):
a win win and do it and during loss.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
But if the Broncos win the game, playing.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Some of the highlights from the other team, like some
things that they didn't like happened, so missing the extra
points was playing.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
That one for the Giants? Yeah? And uh, you know.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
They cut that guy, didn't They The kicker did, but
they brought him back on the practice squad, so he's
still employed. I love Sean Payton running on the field
up to the rest what you love that? No, I
don't added to the dramas that No, added to the drama.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
The drama.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
But it's like, you know, it's this contentious thing that
he's got. He does with the authority figures, right, the refs,
Roger Goodell, things like that. Yes, And this Broncos team
is not is committing a lot of penalties, a lot
of penalties. Where are they learning that? It's a good question.
I mean, it's not like he's telling them, hey, us

(02:41):
to keep doing this now. But also you're still doing it,
so you're letting your emotions take control. That could be
it and we gotta we gotta nip that in the
butd absolutely. But at the same time, Sean Payton's success
speaks for itself and he's probably always led that way.
And so I guess you take the good with the
bad when it comes to that. Because the preparation they're

(03:02):
ready to meet, the moment they delivered to win that
everyone's gonna remember forever. So that's part of it. That's
part of the story. So it didn't stop him from winning,
you know what I mean. But that's the kind of
thing that we'd get fined for.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yet.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
And I'm sure he's gonna have a fine coming his
way on Saturday. Yeah, that's that's a guarantee.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Okay. So one thing I want to ask you, do
you to your recollection?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Were you ever a part of a team or we're
aware of this other team just has our number, right,
I mean, no matter what happens when we play this
other team, boy, they just they always put to us.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
We just don't play it. We don't play great football
against them. I'm not. We don't know why.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I guess for the Broncos. Was the Chiefs for like
sixteen games in a row, right, yeah? But do you
did that ever experience ever happened to you?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Now?

Speaker 4 (03:52):
When I was here, Okay, I feel like we didn't
have anyone who always beat us. You know, the FC
West was We're always pretty competitive with there. With that
one on the road, it was a challenge. Not at home,
we always you know, took care of business. So no,
I haven't experienced that.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Okay, Well Dak Prescott has because he has never beatn
the Broncos. He's only played him twice, so small sample.
He's never beat the Bills, never beat the Broncos. But
this is what's interesting to me about his performances, specifically
because we're talking about Dak Prescott, who is why he
is a sensational career, right. I mean, when he's healthy,
he's phenomenal. And he's on an unbelievable streak right now,

(04:29):
what is it, four games in a row where he's
had at least three touchdowns and no interceptions. He's he's
an MVP right now, He's an MVP conversation. But what
he plays against the Broncos that is less than that.
Do you realize in those two games that he played
against the Broncos, they outscored the Dallas Cowboys by almost
fifty points in two games seventy two sorry, forty points

(04:50):
seventy two to thirty three. Wow, seventy two to thirty three,
so massive margin. Never beat the Broncos. He completed fifty
five percent of his passes. I'm going to combine them
for a second. He completed around fifty five on average,
fifty five percent of his passes. No good average, two
hundred and thirty five passing yards, four touchdowns, three picks,
sacked four times at a quarterback rating of seventy one

(05:10):
point twenty five, which is kind of below average round average.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
They also didn't run the ball very well either.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
They rush for forty yards in the first one and
then seventy eight in the second one. But that it
is Ezekiel Elliott in both those games like they and
he was still at the height of his powers.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Win both of those games.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
My point here because he was asked a lot about
that this week. He was asked kind of Okay, this
is a team that you haven't beat, and he's like, yeah,
I'm very well aware of it.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
But is there.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Something to the mental gymnastics that goes into I haven't
beat this team? Like you say, well, what, we're playing
great right now, But then you get out there and
you're like, gosh, now I remember why I'm not playing
against this team.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
For whatever reason, they just have my number.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I think I don't think that's the thing, okay, just
because you know, maybe with fan bases you can feel that.
But the turnover, I mean everyone's gone from those teams, well,
then there's something to that, right.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
So it was twenty seventeen and twenty twenty one, so
it's you know, it's been you know, got some distance
in between that, but it's just one of those deals.
It's like yeah, I mean and if it was in
division then there'd be like this, okay, wow, that's you know,
you really own them. But he's only played once there,
once here, and he got got it thoroughly handed to him.
Like I said, seventy two to thirty three as far
as the point differential, and that's when their offense was

(06:28):
really humming. And one of those was the Trevor Simon game.
And after that game, everybody wanted to pay Trevor Simeon
a massive contract because the Broncos were massive underdogs in
that game and they won forty two to seventeen. They
blew out the Cowboys, and this is when the Cowboys
were absolutely clicking. Well, if you believe in the football gods,
I do, then the football gods might be engineering those

(06:51):
victories for the Broncos because at least if Jerry Jones
is the one telling the story, the Cowboys are the
gold State, the crown jewel of the NFL. Now, he's
a great salesman and they're worth a lot of money.
But the football gods might think otherwise, Ryan, They might
favor the Denver Broncos as a classier organization, as one

(07:15):
with more integrity, as one that does things the right way,
and as one that deserves the accolades the respect of
all the fans out there who follow this sport. And
so that might be while the Broncos dominate the Cowboys,
because those two teams and the pantheon of great NFL teams,
they're right up there. I mean, who are the others

(07:38):
forty nine Ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, sure well, Patriots, Patriots maybe,
But the Broncos are the team that the football gods
look down on and smile, and the Cowboys are the
team that the football gods look down on and snicker.
Money does not equal respect up in the sky.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
And I think that's what that's what you know, accounts
for those those those victories.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
So as I'm laying that out, that was that's your
your take on me. It's like how else, how else
can explained? These are different coaches, they're different players. Yes,
what's the same. Although but he had listened, he had
he had Jason Whitney had does Bryant like he had
great players However, in these games, like they were all
beamed up and a Mary Cooper, but this was Ceedee

(08:26):
Lamb was in one of them. They held him for
two catches for twenty three yards against the Broncos.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
So the football gods, though, might be watching closely on
how this, this ownership change of the Broncos affects the
way they operate. And then you know, I think they're
they're happy with the way things have gone so far.
But in the past this was the Bolan you know,
the Bolans versus the Joneses.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I'm just saying, if Dak Prescott comes out flat, yeah
in this game, Yeah, despite how great they are playing
right now.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah, you're gonna remember me for this. I will. Yeah,
there's more to it.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
And then the x's and o's in the guy and
you know all that exactly and we witnessed it in
the fourth quarter last week.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
That's right. There's something magic could work here.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
I mean, it's another chance for you to win a
Maverick gift card. That's coming up as well. Some really
good texts here responding to our last segment.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Ryan.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
If you think there isn't something to the football gods,
look up when the last time the cow Girls beat
the Broncos. Yeah, nineteen ninety two here in Denver. At
least that was the last time that the Cowboys beat
the Broncos here in Denver. No, I do think there
is something to that, and I do think, well, I mean,
I've talked about superstition and all that type of stuff
on the radio before, so I absolutely think that has

(09:42):
something to do with And I just wondered when I
saw those numbers and I saw the seventy two to
thirty three outscored, and what Dak Prescott has done where
he has dominated opponents. I mean, he has been part
of offenses and they seem to be this unbelievable juggernaut.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
But I think the reminder needs.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
To be as what we even experienced this last week
with the Giants the Jets, even before that they're a
winless team. We thought the Broncos were going to dominate
them and ended up being a really close game. Every
single NFL game, in a lot of ways, is a
snapshot of what it is. It doesn't necessarily mean it's
built on anything.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
It's just two teams go out there and they play,
and sometimes the strengths are what they're supposed to be,
and sometimes they're not.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, and I would say more more often they're not.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Like the narrative, the build up, the story of the
week is often blown to smithereens once the game begins, agreed,
And I think this week could be another instance of that.
The Cowboys, you know, they had one game where they
scored fourteen against the Bears, but other than that, they've
they've been looking really good. But the teams, you know,
that look good for a while, they falter after a

(10:45):
while and they're they're up and down and the consistency
is not there. I think there's a real opportunity for
the Broncos to absolutely dominate the Cowboys and stuff them
on offense and force them well, this would depend on
the Broncos also putting up poin in the first half.
If they can do that and they make the Cowboys
one dimensional, then they can actually pin their ears back
and go after Dak and for some maybe some interceptions,

(11:07):
maybe some errant throws, some frustration, and I think it
could surprise some people.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
But like I said earlier, I think this could be
a flag.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Planting moment for this defense that really could you know,
galvanize this super Bowl idea, if they were able to
really put take it to the Cowboys and shut this
offense down and put up thirty Super Bowl or.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Bust on the text line, Nate, it's nice to hear
someone with hope. Really hard to listen to Ben and Ryan,
I'll gloom and doom all the time. Well, hold on
one second. I tend to be much more of a
glass half full kind of person. But I will say
spending time with Ben would make anybody he'll doom and
gloom to me joy vampire, and he is a joy vampire.

(11:49):
In fact, we did an exercise yesterday just for a moment.
We did an exercise yesterday where I tried to have
him say just nice things about the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Don't add context or nuance or what is he what's
he upset about? He just that's just not how he
views the game.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Like in his his view of the game is like, well,
Sean says, he's a top five team and a Super
Bowl team and a top five quarterback, So I'm gonna
measure everything they do against that all the time. And
so for him it's always justified in his breakdowns of
I'm measuring you against the best teams in the NFL,
and I'm okay, fine, that's fine, But also you can

(12:25):
also judge him in the moment of what is happening,
and I think both things can be true, right, But
for the texture, I try to be much more positive.
I get accused of being too positive most of the time,
especially compared to Ben.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
So you gotta forgive me a little bit.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
If if over the course of a three hour show,
by the time I get out of there, I feel
like I did like fifteen rounds in the ring and
I'm exhausted, and he is, Yeah, he wears on you.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
A little bit.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Well, I think it's a mistake to judge the Broncos
based on what Sean Payton says. Jean Payton is speaking
hyperbolically most of the time, and he's a little nebulous,
a little nebulous relative to other nebulous instances. Listen, look,
we're gonna so Sean Payton's going to I mean, he's

(13:17):
a hype man. He's pumping up his guys. He's also
trying to convince them that they're that. You know, until
you hear it, your special Ryan, I believe in you,
you can do this.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
I think you're top five in the nation at what
you do.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
I don't think there's anyone out there better than you,
and people might not know it yet, but I see
it when I look at you.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Jeez, that was awesome. So I believe it right well,
I mean we.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
Believe it, but if you believe it, then you might
be able to achieve it, right, Yes, And so I
think there's some of that with with what Shawn's doing.
He's trying to cast the line out there and have
everybody kind of come with him and believe it. But
I would ask at five and two in first place
in the AFC West, fifth in the power rankings or whatever,

(14:05):
who are you afraid of? Who's better out there? What
team is like really making you scared?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Who the chiefs? I don't know? And so in that regard,
I think you can feel pretty confident.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
We're head out to the Kiwi Common Spirit Health hotline
right now and bring on Clarence Hill Junior. Those a
fantastic word has been covering the Dallas Cowboys for a
very long time and it's with All City Network now
d LLS.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Clarence is good to catch up with you, man. How
are you well, man? How you got doing We're doing
great and pretty excited about this game.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
How about how are Cowboys fans feeling right now about
their teams? It's been kind of a roller coaster season,
including the off season with the Michael Parsons trade.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yeah, you know, it's interesting because I don't know if
expectations were high. Comes in the scene that's last year
seven to ten campaign and then you Michael Parsons. I
think Captain's man is feeling pretty good about your team,
you know, because you know this is better than you know.
I guess they're expected and their competitive and the offense

(15:11):
and Dak Presscott is playing out of their minds are
loving George Pickensy and Cey Lamb from of the defensive
issue with Michael Parsons, but I think they've fallen in
love with the coach, uh Brian Shot. I was gonna
call him Marty Satonnier. I know his dad and old
enough to remember his dad coach, And actually I covered
uh Brian in high school when he was in Kansas City,

(15:34):
you know. But uh so, I tell you how old
I am. But anyway, uh so, they're feeling pretty good.
I think this is one of those games where you know,
get over hump, get beat Denver, beat this Broncos team,
and then you'll really be feeling good about yourself and
possibly cooking with Grease Claire.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Javonte Williams started his career here as a running back,
had some promising moments, hurt his knee pretty bad, didn't
look the same, But now he's looking like the old
Javonte and even better than what we saw. Talk a
little bit about the impact Javonte Williams has had on
the Dallas Cowboys offense.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Yeah, and understand, Davante is not giving you any bulletin
of bowl material, No revenge talk, no, you know, bucket
up want to pay him back for letting me go.
He's saying all the right games he's having to be
in Dallas. I mean, he's just upon himself. He never
thought he'd be back. He never thought he thought his

(16:31):
career was over. You know it is. It's far as
being a top back and being and running this world
and to do what he's doing. He's the prosence of
his second NFL and rushing, so he's what the doctor
wader for Cowboy's offense. And keep in mind he's also
wanted to get a lot of white boxes. Yeah, because
of Ceedee Lamb and George pick him in his amazing

(16:51):
passing game. And you know he doesn't have a lot
of heavy boxes, but you know he's been great. You
know this this this team, all the scored six and
tendowns all that studio. Uh, he has seven. He has
seven times down, you know, and so he you know,
to what they have in the pass the game. Uh,
he's a big back, one cut runner. You know, he

(17:12):
fits what they do well. And and you know, Shotty said,
we bet on him. We bet right, you know, we
bet on him. And Sara may Sean said that they
were going in a different direction and they did and
and and it's kind of worked out for both parts
of the thing. Jim Jimmers running game is doing pretty
good and certa of the Cowboys love where they're getting from.
Javanta Williams.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Yeah, certainly looks really dynamic. I want to ask you
about some of the injuries here. We already know about
Trayvon Diggs, Donovan Wilson. That's going to really impact that
the secondary there. But a couple of questions. I know
guys are kind of working back off. I r opened
up some windows. What do we knowing Tyler Smith's questionable.
Cooper Bebe, I know he's one of the guys that's
working his way back. What are some of the injuries

(17:56):
for this game for the Cowboys?

Speaker 3 (17:58):
You know, Thomas smiths to be fine. One you Thomas,
you know he has not practiced. You know, certainly you
talked about Donald Willis and Donald Wilson maybe had one
year Thomas at safety, possible going to be out. Trevon Diggs,
he didn't play last weekend and the Cowboys may be
moving away from this form of protbow form of All

(18:19):
Pro guy Michael Parsons, but he just has not had
a good season in the scheme mentally physically. Uh, they're
talking about him going on I R. You know's the
guy who we could go miss the game because of concussion.
Everything acting their at home. What are you doing at
the house in the concussion that calls you to miss
two games? That's course with activity, right, that's of course

(18:40):
the uh. But you know, Stephen Joe, the Cowboys are
admitted today that the hours of options for him so
that they feel good about the cornerback position. The guys
that are playing without him and ready to move forward.
But outside of that. I don't think they're any major
injured consumers for the impact on how this team's gonna play.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
So it's pretty rare clarience that you have the number
one offense in the league and the very last place
defense in the league. Can you talk a little bit
about that imbalance, why that exists there?

Speaker 3 (19:09):
And if that's the two thousand Rams, two thousand Rams.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Had that, okay, and when the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
In fact the greatest show on So I don't think
they actually I think if there's ten of sixtss seas,
I don't think they maybe after the Bowl, but they
had the number one offense and the defense that was
given up twenty nine points a game.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Well so so, so why why why that imbalance in Dallas?
And is that effect in the locker room at all?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
It's not affecting the locker room because there's you know,
I mean, you know, I Curage Stamer and uh. They
keep these guys together, and they each big. They they're
a great group and they're they're all full of each other.
But where are the difference they can play on defense?
I mean, Jared pays his offensive guys. You know, he
had one defense guy that needs to pay any trade

(19:55):
in all right, you're paying Deck at the top of
the market. You have seen it a market you pay
a tight end. You just paid him. You paid Thomas Smith,
you know the high state guard to me, you know,
you don't have any extensive guys on defense, different making
guys on defense, and you wonder why you know your
defense is enough? You know, I mean Parsons was was

(20:20):
the best passers the league, one of the best defensives
the league. Certainly a guy that did would have helped
his defense, and you didn't want to pay him. He
got rid of him for a nose tackle in the
passing league. Uh So the defense has been bad. Uh
this is not the first has been bad. Uh it's
worse now without Michael Parsons. Uh again, Chevron Diggs, a

(20:41):
guy with a former footbowl guy you areccount going to
come back to that level, has not come back to
the level. Uh So they're not any difference making players.
And you don't have enough for you know, you have
one or two guys, but you know, you just don't
have a gang of guys on defense and are playing
and at the top of the game. And then I
Becka Gore is one of the worst than League one

(21:01):
of guy he's talking about coming back and Mark may
On Overstan. You know he won't back it out to
the mine. He's a guy who has potential to be
that type of player. But you know they're not. They're
not a lot of dudes on defens you gotta have dudes. Okay,
into the minting, you gotta have dudes. They've got dues
on offense, not many dudes on defense.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Jetting here with Clarience Hill the last couple here for
you man really appreciate the time as always, So yeah,
I think that that perfectly sums up at least what
we're seeing there for the defense. For the offense though
obviously a lot of happiness about not only what you're
doing the running game, but in the passing game. I
think Jake Ferguson stepped forward has been one of the
more impressive things.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
I've been a been a big fan of his now
for a couple.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Of years, but to see what he's been for this offense,
especially when Ced went down, just tell me a little
bit about sort of his impact and really all around,
because he also does a hell of a job blocking.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Yeah, I mean, you know, the Titan quarterbacks, best friend
the tight end right, a lot of the blanket, you know,
and and and you talk about Cebe. You have pickings,
you know, the big play guy outside team or teams
are giving attention to the guys an outside, which opens
up the run the game for when he was also
opens up the underneath throws. Uh for Ferguson, and he's eating,

(22:10):
he's catching the balls eating. You know, you don't he
has a lot of touch downs. There's a lot of catches.
You don't see a lot of yards for catch. You know,
he doesn't have a lot of yards, but he helps
move the change. You know, he keeps them in manageable
down in the distance by just two yards, five yards,
three yards wherever he does. He catched the ball. He's reliable.
And you know once people really start taking him, looking

(22:33):
at those guys outside, you know, he's the semeball, you know.
And Jack Wilt the seam battle about seam battle, Patty
and but yeah, Jack Ferguson, he also got paid his
off season, uh, and he's living up to it all.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Right, Claria.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
So if you were a defensive coordinator about to face
this Dallas Cowboys offense, how would you stop him?

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Well, I would have the two best cornerbacks or one
of the best cornerback times the league lived by Patrick
Chartain and and the best characters in the league. You know,
get the deck, you get the deck, you know, and
play mad the man, and you know, get them off
their rhythm, get them off their timing. I mean, I
think that in trigger thing about this game. You got
the number one offense. You talked about the Calvins have

(23:13):
the worst defense, but the Packers have a number one defense,
only number one pass defense. And that's why this game
is showing tricky. Why if the Cowboys legitimate, they're for real,
they think the office can take them and carry them
to the playoffs. Do it against Denver, do it against
the tame do it against this passway. Let's do it
with this Calvin the beating Denver since ninety two, right

(23:34):
or No. Ninety five that won in Devers ninety five.
They're beating Denver since ninety I mean that one in
Denver too. They haven't beaten Denvers in ninety five. Of course,
then those two teams won the Super Bowl. I don't
think the team is the only way to win the
Super Bowls. They'd beat Denver but yeah, if you want
to make some of your season, do it against this

(23:54):
Denver defense. This BALCO's defense is as good as in
the league. Right, No, that's still against the pass.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Clarence Hill Junior at Clarence Hill Junior on Twitter from
a d LS All City Network Clarence always great to
catch up with you man, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
For the time, Clarence Hill. I want to react to that.
We'll do it at the top of the hour, but
just for a moment.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
He's right as much as we are kind of looking
at this from a Broncos perspective of like, hey, this
offense is the best one you've seen all season. They're
doing the same thing over there, talking about this is
the best defense you've seen all season.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
What are you about. Something's gotta give. It was the immovable,
immovable object and the unstoppable, unstoppable for us. Yeah, that's
what it feels like. Well, that's what football is it
really is.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
I mean, that's you get two teams of guys going
as hard as they can every moment of every play,
working all week long, studying all the same film, all
the same practice hours, all the same methods, all the
same coaches, shuffle from team to team. Something's gotta give.
They're all professionals, they're all getting paid. What's the difference.
The football gods.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Perfectly said, you want to pick games? Yeah, let's have
some fun, all right. He's eight in the NFL as
we'll start with the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East
matchup against the Giants.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Arch fakes, He's he's book, he is going deep. He
looked the Vontae Smith.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
He has it.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Toy fIF team fuck, fuck, don't fuck, Tayspect blogs, brow.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Ray, Sports Radio ninety four w IP.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
They're gonna be without aj Brown, so we might hear
DeVante Smith's a lot more often in this game.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
Via.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Eagles are favored by seven and a half against the Giants.
I kind of like the Giants in this one. I
don't know, Hard beat him a couple weeks ago. What
do you sing, Nate, Yeah, that's a big line there.
I think the Giants are going to make this a
closer game. I think Philly's gonna win it, but I
think the Giants will cover.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Wy you Grants fly, Eagles fly. The magic is gone
with the Giants. We took it away last week and
Eagles win Eagles cover nice.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
The Indianapolis Colts are rolling high snap for Jones, but
he pulls it down. Get to the Taylor MARCHI two is.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Right, but Troit cigain for Jonathan Taylor, free rushing touchdowns
for the greatest running back going right.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Now, Matt Taylor, the fan of ninety seven one Hank FM.
Indianapolis six and one now and they're hosting the one
in six Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Indian Apple is favored by fourteen and a half in
this game.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
Grant, what do you think, In the words of Al Michaels,
you never know in that half point will get you.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
I like the Colts to win, but I don't like
them to cover.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Okay, Fascina, what do you think? Yeah, I think that
line might not be high enough. I think the Tennessee
Titans are in big trouble. They fired their coach. They
look pretty awful. The cults are rolling. You know when
you get a running backer's running that well. The quarterback
looks pretty good back there, and Daniel Jones having an
MVP type of year so far, He's only been sacked
six times.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
The Colts are gonna cover, then they're gonna win.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Okay, Yeah, it's only the Colt's pretty big in this
one too, But I like Grant. I think the Tennessee
Titan's maybe lead.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
An interim bump. We'll see what that looks like. New
England Patriots. They feel good.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
They takes the snap chest hot, he dropped back with time.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
I hope he takes snaps.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
Touched out Patriots more.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
It's a catch.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
You have.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Also, She'scott's the lac screaming underneath your favorite my oh
right ninety five the Sportstub Patriots Radio network. The Patriots
also big spread in this one, minus.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Seven and a half, as they're hosting Shelby Harrison the
Browns Nates. Yeah, I think it's fair. I think they're
gonna cover. I think they're gonna win. I think the
Patriots are playing really well and the Browns are not.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Again.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
They're in disarray, they're on the road, they are their
quarterbacks as a rookie. They're gonna They're gonna lose. The
Patriots are a good team again. Any hope here, I
mean like they're gonna lose.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
No hope. I don't have hope for the Browns. No,
I mean I don't. I don't hope either way.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
I'm looking at just, you know, just analytically a team,
and I think the Patriots are a good team again,
and the Browns are not.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
Okay, Grant, the only hope for the Browns is if
Shelby Harris has somehow reports his eligible and scores a touchdown.
Love Shelby, his team sucks. Patriots cover best hands in
the league, just ask him. Yeah, I like the Patriots
of this game too. I'm sorry, Shelby. Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay,

(28:36):
My goodness.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
Shot gun Look Baker Mayfield, bell high Snapp looks.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Upfield throws a baldap Field, He's receiver. All but that's
a cup.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Touched up, Tapa Bye touch stop bucking.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Pitch, Tess Johnson Touchstown Buccaneers. What a proof by picker Mayfield?

Speaker 1 (28:51):
And you want to catch if VP That's not for
you because Jeane Decker off the Buccaneers radio network.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
W f us SO.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Tampa Bay actually got crunched against Detroit this last week,
so I'm interested to see how they bounce back.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
They are favored though against the Saints. Grant.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
Yeah, and I think they bounced back in a big
way even without Mike Evans. I was a crushing injury
last week, but I like Tess Johnson to maybe get
another touchdown this week.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Bucks win, Bucks cover, they really really need. What do
you think, Nate?

Speaker 4 (29:24):
Only a three and a half point line there against
the pretty bad Saints. You can get into that game
for twenty bucks, which is the cheapest ticket going this week.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
I'm looking at that sweet dollars. Wow, shows you.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
The enthusiasm there in post Sean Payton New Orleans. But yeah,
I think Tampa Bay might be one of those teams
I think that. No, I mean it's a compliment. Okay,
Oh Sean Payne. Okay, they were good when he was there,
and they're not anymore. Sure, Yeah, yeah, I see. But
I think Tampa Bay will be one of those teams
that kind of falls off as the season goes on.
I don't think they'll maintain that sort of fire and

(29:57):
energy they had in the first five games.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
However, I do think they'll win and.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Cover this game.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Okay, the Buffalo Bill's coming off thereby.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Takes the staff, takes the throw to the flat, looks
down the sideline.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
He's got Kinkaid Who's gonna walk it in for a
twenty three yard touchdown. Fake to the flat, throw.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
To the sideline, and it's easy, peasy, lemon squeeze.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
It's great call of Chris Brown w g R Sports
Radio five point fifty in Buffalo and alost.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
Two going into the buy people starting to worry a
little bit. And then of course you get the Panthers down.
The Panthers, by the way or not, they're four and
three right now, four and three. They're four and three
and the three and zero at home?

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Does that add any intrigue into this matchup?

Speaker 3 (30:38):
For you?

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Nate is a quarterback hurt? The quarterback is hurts, doubtful,
is Bryce Young? So it's gonna be Andy Dalton probably
going the Red Rocket as Ryan cause him. I think
the Red Rockets, Oh my god, get a rocket back.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
It's a rifle everybody. But I have messed that up. Yes,
I have messed that up. That's funny. I think the
Bills are gonna lose three in a row.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
I actually think the Carolina Panthers and the Red Rocket
are gonna bring home with victory in Carolina.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
That's on me.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
All that's on me. I gotta be better. I gotta
be better. Go ahead, Grant. I think the Bells bounced back.
But I do think this is going to be a
close game. So maybe Bells win, Panthers cover.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Let's go to the Kansas City Chiefs. They're playing Monday nights,
and yeah, it's not a really good time for Washington
be without their quarterback.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Both play the drive, quick snap, but check our left
side bashes over ten an end of the end zone
touchdown Kansas City Isaiah.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
But check on a seven yard run.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Mitch Holtis, ninety six five fan the Chiefs for Radio
Network on a call.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
So Jamie Daniels is out of this game.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Marcus Mariota one of the few teams he hasn't played for.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
That's what it's fun. In the last few weeks. It
been like a Marcus Mariota revenge game.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
It's like, yeah, because he's played for everybody, but he's
not played for the Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Chiefs of four and three, the Commanders of three and four.
Both teams really need this game. Nate Commanders are struggling.
They gave up forty four to the Cowboys last week.
They don't have their quarterback. I think the Commanders are
a little bit lost this season. They don't look like
they have the same juice energy or cohesiveness that they
did last year. The magic isn't there for them. They're
gonna lose by fourteen to the Chiefs. Yeah, it is

(32:14):
a pretty big spread. Eleven and a half Chiefs of everybody,
eleven and a half grant.

Speaker 5 (32:19):
I think if this game was in Washington, maybe there'd
be some Mariota magic.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
But you're gonna hear a lot more of that touchdown
Kansas City that.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
Makes me a little sick to my stomach every time
I hear it. A little wheezy Kansas Is. Kansas City's
gonna win big.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
Another reason for the Broncos to win this week, sort
of keep pace confronts as the Chargers already won. The
Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers facing his forward team.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Here's a fake candaf Love boot baking white cots it
off crap to the time of the fat pretty.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Brain by a Packer touchdown top car crap.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
It's waye Larryvie and Larry mkaren.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
He can't help himself so excited watching Jordan Love throw
a touchdown passes to Tucker Craft. He wants to be
on a fantasy team. That's the Packers. Radio Network wr
in w SO.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Packers are favored on the road in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Fascinating sort of situation here, and the Steelers coming off
of a pretty bad loss to Cincinnati. Oh yeah, they
kind of need this game. Meanwhile, the Packers are for
one and one, So Grant, I'll start with you.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
What do you think?

Speaker 5 (33:25):
Well, speaking of magic, hyahuasca, I think there's some magic
for Aaron Rodgers this weekend. I hope he gets this
revenge when I like the Steelers to bounce back and
win this game against this former team.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
What about you, Nates, I don't like the Steelers to
bounce back in a way I think that.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
I mean ayahuasca aside, it helps, but it doesn't hiawasca.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
It doesn't help that much.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
The Steelers offensive bottom ten offense in the league, even
though they've won some games. I think the Packers are
going to go in there and control the ball and
beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
I don't have a great feeling about this one, but
I'm gonna I'm gonna past steal.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
I'm gonna go home team. Aaron Rodgers be angry after
losing to Joe Flacco and Hodayday Cincinnati Begels Bengels, by
the way, that's the Jets man.

Speaker 5 (34:16):
That's uh, that's good stuff there. Back to five hundred
this week, that's right, three to.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
Four minus six and a half hosting the Owen seven
Jets who don't even know who their quarterback is.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Well, they do, but they just won't tell us. All right,
Davin Glenny, he's a genius. He's a mastermind. He's doing this.
Is that the right way?

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Yeah? The competitive advantage of is it justin fields? Trod Taylor?

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Yeah, okay, I mentioned the twenty dollars ticket that you
can get into the Bucks in the Saints.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Do you know what the most expensive ticket this week is?
Who tell me?

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Bron Gills and Cowboys? You can get in for as
little as two hundred and sixty three dollars? Yeah, is
not she It's a big game.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
It is a big game. Everybody wants to go to
this game.
