Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bo.
Speaker 2 (00:00):
It's Dave Logan. You guys. You know, last week we
talked about the great comeback in thirty three points in
the fourth quarter, had trouble getting anything going to the
first three quarters. You guys, after the first drive looked
like you you were in high gear for most of
the game. What what was the difference to you?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Well, I think, you know, simply put, we were able
to convert some second and third downs and then continue
to extend drives over and over. And when you do that,
you kin meathotically move the ball down of the field.
And you know, I just felt like in the past,
we haven't been doing that lately, but today we did
a good job of staying.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
On the field.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yep, you got the running game going. JK went over
one hundred yards. You had four touchdown passes. It's the
third game in your short career that you you've been
able to do that. And you know, Franklin gets a
couple and Pat Bryant gets his first touchdown reception of
his career. That's one he's always going to remember. I
can guarantee you no doubt.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
You know, those guys are playing well for us. They
try to clout Courtland's side, they try to do their
best to take him away and the other guys are
making plays. And that's what you got to see, especially
down the stretch. You know, early in the season you
want to get those guys going. But now those guys
are really playing well, and they're playing smart. They're playing
you know, in rhythm. They run a good routes catching
the football. Making guys have to guard him, and that's
(01:15):
tough when you have three that are you're spacing out
the field and catching passes.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
You know, I'll get you out of here on this.
Just off the top of my head, I was thinking
Evan Ingram's kind of quietly jumped into this thing. He
looks like a guy that you trust and makes good catches,
good decisions with the ball after he catches it. I mean,
he looked like a competent veteran receiver to me in
the last three or four weeks.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Yeah, no doubt. And he's you know, just like Courtland.
He's just been there, done that. He makes critical catches
in certain times. They just have to guard him differently
when he's on the field, so we get different coverages
and you know, he makes plays. I missed him Insie
Fay that could have been an explosive touchdown. I got
a p I fank goodness.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
But you know, he's just a.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Guy that's going to continue to get better and him
and Courtland are doing really good as far as the
experienced ones allowing those younger guys to play behind them.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
No doubt about it. Bo and Joey, this one. We'll
see you this week.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Thank you so much, Cabrocos Troy.
Speaker 6 (02:09):
I mean, this game. If you're sitting there after last week,
what happened, everybody was stunned, and this one you get
the two touchdowns, six touchdowns total for the offense. You
guys heard about it all week that you're gonna have
to have a balanced game. Talk about that.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
Yeah, man, you know, we were we were due, you know,
and I think we came out here. You know, obviously
we hear all the noise, so we just wanted to,
you know, come out here and start fast and prove
everybody wrong.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Good good day for your room. Pat Bryant getting his
first touchdown and then RJ gets three. I mean, really
just spread the ball around exactly.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Yeah, you know, everybody eats, that's our mentality. So yes,
ma'am all.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
Right, then how about the defense. You didn't have to
rely on them as much, but then they come up
with a couple of turnovers.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Yeah, you know, we help each other, you know. So
it's good that you know, we're out there getting points
and Dan they're nile on the field as long. So yeah,
we're all doing our job, all right.
Speaker 6 (02:53):
Tree, Do you feel like you're finally getting in that
groove with bo everybody's wanted to see that for a
long time.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
Most definitely. I think this game kind of you know,
it was the start a little bit, you know, just
you know, it's getting targeted and making the catch is
you know, just feeling good making the players and stuff.
Speaker 6 (03:07):
So yeah, all right, congratulations, thank you. There you go.
Day back up to.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
You head down and Susie Warrigon standing by with a
guy who caught his first NFL touchdown today. That's Pat Bryant.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
Yes he did, thanks Dave. So yeah, first NFL touchdown? Pat?
How did that feel? And it's been a few weeks
here that you've been waiting for that one?
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Right?
Speaker 4 (03:24):
They felt amazing?
Speaker 6 (03:24):
Man.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Just honestly, just stay staying, staying on humble managers, waiting
on the opportunity and I kind of had a feeling
there to come this game. So really just going out
there when the ball came out, I mean, I was
looking forward to making the play.
Speaker 6 (03:35):
What gave you that feeling? There were six touchdowns in
this game, and at talked de Troy after the game.
He said, everybody ate, which is great, and it's finally
you are It's good you are too.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
I mean, just the week of practice, we had one
of the best week of practices I've had since I've
been here. Honestly, just going through that preparation bow getting
the ball to everybody in practice, I kind of knew that.
Seawn even told us, like this is the game we
was gonna start fast. We started pretty fast. So just
going out there, everybody did their job, everybody got touch
the ball and came out with a dub.
Speaker 6 (03:58):
What was different? And Sean just got done with this
press conference talking about last night when you guys were
in the hotel and what he was doing with fight
songs and things like that. It's been a different week.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Yeah, yeah, I mean we talked a lot of different
things this week, bro, and just you can kind of
feel in that meeting last night that everybody was we wanted.
They had a lot of confidence in the play calls
that we're going to be called. And really, I mean
there was a lot of people name is going to
be called, you know when it came to making big plays,
and a lot of us answer when our name were called.
Speaker 6 (04:21):
Congratulations, Thanks Pat, A very good day. Back up to
you in the sack, all right, Zach, you got the
only loan sack and everybody's also he's been talking about
how many sacks this team has but not enough getting
the turnovers. Got a couple of those today too. With
your guys talk about going up against this number one offense,
you did a great job today against him.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Yeah, I mean obviously that last touchdown at the end
and kind of want back, but you know, give him
a lot of credit. I mean, there was a lot
of focus in the building today and it translated the
game day. So it's great. Yeah, I mean two sacks
is obviously, uh you'd like more, but you know, it's
really good. All I mean, we knew all week.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
I mean they the money is on.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
That offense, you know, from a wide receiver line, quarterback,
running back standpoints. So really proud of the guys, and
you know, we just got to keep on building off
of it.
Speaker 6 (05:07):
I forgot about JFM sack. That seem like it was
forever ago.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
I know.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah, we really got him at like the yeah, first
and fourth, So no, it's uh. I love JFM. Rushing
with him is the best. He's He's incredible, man, he
really honestly, he's my brother for life.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
A lot of talk about your old Tomate teammate Javonte
coming in. He's a second leading rusher in the NFL.
You guys did a great job with him. What was
it like seeing him today and going against him and Dak?
Speaker 1 (05:30):
I love Javonte, man, He's he's one of the best
human beings ever. I was super fortunate his locker was
next to mine, as you know, so seeing him half
success this year has been incredible. Obviously, you know we're
lucky he didn't have too much success against us today,
but you know, everybody in Denver should be really thankful
for Javonte for his time and what he did for
(05:51):
the community, everything like that. And yeah, we have nothing
but love for Javonte.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
In the AFC West, going on the road for one
quick game feels like a pretty good spot to Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, this nice little homestand is great. Obviously, you know,
we had some crazy travel stuff. So yeah, no, we're Yeah,
Houston's not too bad of a flight.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
You know.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Obviously it's gonna be a tough game. You know, last
time we were there it was a battle, and so yeah,
it's gonna be tough, but we're you know, we just
got to regroup and get back on the horse again.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
Zach appreciate it. You know, you need to get in
the shower, so thank you very much. All right, Dave
back up to you.
