Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everyone to another edition of the KSR Pre Show.
Today is Wednesday, September tenth. I am Billy Rutledge along
with Shannon the Dude. You give us a call in
the Clark's Pumping Shop phone line. That's eight five nine
two eight oh two two eight seven Texas at five
oh two two six five six six five six and
is always The KSR pre Show is brought to you
(00:21):
by Italics Fine Italian dining right here in Lexington, Kentucky
at the City Center on Main Street, open for dinner
and lunch if you haven't checked that out yet. We're
back in studio today after a lot of traveling over
the last few days. At a great time at Cornbread
Hemp in their hemp farm yesterday and Lebanon.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Shannon the Dude is in Louisville. What's up man, how
are you hey?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (00:43):
I had a lot of fun yesterday. Big thanks to
corn Bread Hemp for having us out there. Always a
lot of fun. I actually had a good crowd out there.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
You know.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
The last couple of times we've been out to the farm,
it's just been us just hanging out with the hemp,
seeds and plants and the people coming by to harvest it.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
But yesterday they had a good crowd.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
But going to be back here in studio and then
well tomorrow for me, I mean it all gets going
with Bourbon and beyond fest and louder than life. So
this is the calm before the storm with me, because
I've got that going for eight out of the next
eleven days starting tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, we know you're the veteran of the music scene
when it comes to these concerts, and so maybe tomorrow
you can give us some tips about maybe if you're
coming to the concert, what you should bring and maybe
what to expect. Expect to spend a little money too,
because food and drinks aren't cheap at those things. It
is good to be back in studio. But if you
hear anything over the air, it's because somebody is hitting
(01:36):
a hammer on the floor right above me, Shannon, I
don't know if it's noticeable on the air, but I
guess people have decided to do construction in this building
at nine oh five, just in time for our show.
Speaker 6 (01:45):
This.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Yeah, no, I don't hear it, but yeah, good, yeah, yeah,
I'm sure that would drive our friend Matt Jones absolutely
crazy because he can't have any sort of disruption at
all during the show.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You and I feel like seem to roll with the.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Disruptions and ambiance pretty well, you know all you got
to well, like yesterday when I fired up that generator,
I go, Matt's gonna lose his mind over this, and
I'm going I think we could do it. It would be fine.
It would sound like we're not in a studio. There's
you know, you want a little background noise every now
and then.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well, we pivoted and ended up using a battery that
didn't make any noise, and so the generator doesn't go
over the air. You know, in the middle of the show,
they're like, hey, can you move the table all the
way over here into the hemp field And we're like, well,
you know, we may get knocked off the air, but
we rolled with the punch. Is Shannon right, We're able
to adapt. We're professionals. That's what we do here on
the pre show.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
It reminds me in college.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I lived with my ex girlfriend for a little while
while talk about torture, but at the same time, they
were doing construction on the street that I lived on,
So we were talking six seven am every morning on
the dot we are drilling into the street and waking
everybody up on the street. But you know what, that's
just part of it, right. I mean, you live in
New York City, You're gonna expect a little noise out there.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Right, Yeah, I would expect nothing less. That's why you
moved to the city, right. You like the craziness and
the noise. I mean, you know, you don't go to
New York City for some peace and quiet.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
No, No, And then maybe some people out there, you're
just living there, and and then the park gets built
right next to your house and everybody starts parking on
your street, and then there's not much you can.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Do about that either.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
But that's why they have noise canceling headphones and deep sleepers,
even though I am not one of them, Shannon. Yesterday
I got the invite from my neighbor to come over
and have cigars and bourbon with some of his buddies.
So I said, yeah, yeah, count me in, Shannon. I've
got maybe four or five more chest hairs on my
chest this morning for last night.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Did me tell you, Wow, you smoked a cigar? I did?
Did you think a man?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I did?
Speaker 3 (03:41):
See?
Speaker 1 (03:41):
I'm not much of a cigar smoke or shandy. You
don't inhale cigars. You just kind of keep it in
the mouth and blow it out.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Did you learn that the hard way?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
I mean back in the day, Yes, But you.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Weren't like over there like embarrassing yourself and choking on
the cigar where you're.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
No, No, not at all.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I even got like a good burn on the cigar,
so it was like burning evenly. Yeah, almost looked like
I knew what I was doing.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Now, are you definitely? Are you?
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Definitely was feeling it by the end of it. But
I definitely held my own. Those guys were just puffing cigars.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Now, when you cut your animals.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
When you cut the cigar for you, do you cut
it straight through or are you a V cut?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
No, I'm not the V cut. I just use the
little clippers and then cut off the end. You're telling
me there's another method besides that.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yeah, there's like a cut where you don't cut the
entire thing off. You just cut like a little slit
basically in it. Oh okay, uh huh, there's a way
to do it that way as well.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
They got these big torches that they're lighting the cigar with.
You know, not a match, you know, not just the
lighter that you might find at the gas station.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
That's the thing that want to you can't make a
mistake with the torch because you will literally torch your
face off if you're not careful when you're using one
of those bututane lighters.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
But like Shannon the dude at a music festival, these
guys were savvy veterans. I mean they're on their second
and third bourbon. I mean they're they're breaking into their
second long cigar. Shannon, I'm just holding on for dear
life over there, trying to act act normal.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
I mean we know that you could only drink a
couple of mom is. That's been well known and well documented.
So how many bourbons were you able to handle?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I had to with a cigar? Thank goodness. I only
had to walk fifteen feet to get back to my house.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah, But just you know, being with the boys was
nice last night, and I don't know, maybe I have
to get into the cigar game.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
A little bit.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Did you walk or crawl back home?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I stumbled?
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Maybe this was like, you know, we're gonna invite over
our neighbor who.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Doesn't like to cut his grass.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
We'll say it's bourbons cigar night, but really we want to,
you know, get them to get them two bourbons in
and then confront him about his lack of awareness or
just lack of caring about his yard that's making the
entire neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Look like crap.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
That's a scary thought. I would hate to go over there.
You know.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
That put my guard down a little bit, and then
it'd be an intervention for me not knowing more.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Next thing, you know, you didn't know it, but you
live right next to John Wayne Gacy and you're tied
up in a chair and you're about to end up
in his crawl space.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
It's right.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
It's like, what is that cellar door that you have
here in the backyard? Do you want He's like, oh,
you want to check it out? Why an' you go
down there?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
For Hey, I got a rope.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Let me show you a trick with this rope.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
So no, none of that happened last night. I had
a good time.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
You've talked about, you know, how you hang out with
your neighbors every now and there.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's the one you share a garden with.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
It is a stop at my house. Man I raised
that garage door. I got the fourteen foot bar in there,
and of course all the lights. I mean, my garage
now basically looks like a pub. You got to come
over and see it. But because of that, when that
garage door is open, it's like apparently open invitation to
anybody and everybody that would like to just wander into
(06:35):
my garage bar. And you know, I'm okay with that sometimes,
but there's other times where you just want maybe a
little bit of privacy. But I've learned you want privacy
in your own home or in your own man cave.
You got to shut that big garage door. Otherwise people
just wander in there. That's right, help themselves. That's the
open invitation.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
I see a bar, a garage open with the bar,
I might just come in and see if I can
grab a drink.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
I have to tell you the story since we're talking
about this.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Okay, So this past Friday night, I was just going
to have a nice little quiet night. You know, been
working all week. It's going to stay home, sit out
there in my garage, watch the game just by myself,
this nice piece and quiet meantime. Well about twenty minutes
into that, here comes one neighbor walking across about half
lit up and I hadn't been drinking anything, and he's like, hey, man,
(07:25):
can you fill up my bottle. I'm like going, okay,
now wait a minute, just because I have again.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
A garage bar.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Apparently, I'm now like the liquor stock for everybody on
my street. So I go, no, I'll drive you up
to the liquor store. Since you've been driving, I'm sober,
I'll drive you up there. We'll get you a refill.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
That's very nice, yeah, very neighborly exactly.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
So I said, no problem. Well I've come back home
and I'm pulling into my driveway. Here comes the other
drunk neighbor. He's now in my garage. He's now going
through my refrigerator. And the next thing I know, for
the next three and a half four hours, I am
entertaining two drunk neighbors in my garage that I didn't
really I mean, look, they're good people, I love them,
but I didn't ask for that. And now I feel
(08:04):
like I've got to entertain everybody on the block because
of the garage bar.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
And wait, so you came back and he was in
your garage.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
I came back and there's another drunk nighbor.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Now, hold on, like that's not cool.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
No, no, no, it's fine. Like I've known this guy
my entire life.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
Again, my neighbors, I swear to you, Billy, it's like
a TV show where all the characters are still in
place that were there from forty years ago.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Everybody is surrounding my house.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
All the neighbors have all been there since I was
a kid, So I've known these.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
People literally my entire life.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
So I mean, if it were somebody I didn't know
when they were wandering in there, I'd like, what are
you doing?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
But no, in my.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Neighborhood, it's like nothing's changed. It's still stuck in the
eighties and all like the same TV characters that were
there at the very beginning are still there.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
And if they want to wander in my garage, that's fine.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
I mean, my neighbor literally gives me a key to
his house in his garage.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
What a strong sense of community. Yeah, I absolutely love that.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know about getting into the
garage and into the fridge, but I mean you always
hear people say that they want to live on a
culv sec so when they have kids. They can those
kids can grow up and play with other kids, right,
And it sounds like you're able to know these people
from back when you.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Were a kid, So yeah, that is free.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Of course, they're now older than I am.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
I was a kid, they were you know then they're
I guess thirties then and now they're in their seventies.
But he's got the type of garage where like, if
I need something, I can go there, like my garage.
You don't come to my garage to get tools. You
come to my garage to party and a little drinking it.
So exactly, I go to his garage when I need
tools because he's got like the actual traditional garage that
(09:42):
has stuff in it that you would expect, not a
fourteen foot long bar.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
So it's a give and take.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
You know, he comes to get alcohol in my garage,
I go to his garage for a hammer or a
screw driver.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Like Tim the toolman Taylor living in your in your
little cold alcohol for tools, Well I've got to come
over and see the bar that I mean, if Shannon's
just hosting the neighbors every every other weeknight, I mean
I think the KSR guys need to come down we
do enough live shows, Shanna, let's just come to the
come to the garage, one.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Of these, come on over, let's do it.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
That would be fun.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
The dude a bides bar.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Oh, I'm sure I'm you got some like signage or
like something in the garage.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's all looking good.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah, that's ready to roll.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Okay, now now I'm in.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Now we're gonna be smoking cigars and drinking a little
burbon at Shannon's house next time. And one of the
guys I was drinking with last night is actually listening
and said, what a guest. You were a pro with
the cigars. Enjoyed it last night. So there you go, Shannon.
I got the seal of approof.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
I thought maybe when they saw you walk over, they
would just hand you a vape pin. Thought maybe that'd
be more your speed.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
It definitely was like, who is this guy, I mean,
coming over and flip flops and shorts.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Over there, looks like he looks like he needs some
blueberry muffin vate pin.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
That's what well they got.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
You know, they got like full beards, right, and you know,
and they're all, you got, my little goateee, you.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Got something going on. You're you know what you are
making an attempt to grow some facial hair.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah, I mean, you can't hit home run unless you
step up to the plate, right shade, Have you got
an attempt? Gotta gotta throw an attempt out there. It
might be much longer after I come back from vacation.
I think tomorrow's my final show for a little while. Shannon,
So you got you got big plans? You got something
lined up yet, are you get?
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Of course?
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Yeah, I've got the biggest plan alln Mario. Yeah, probably
calling Mario. I mean, look, everybody wants to hear from Mario.
He is, without a doubt, one of the finest and
most popular members of this KSR crew.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
So yeah, we may call it Mario gay for a show.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Good Well, I would love to know if Mario has
grown over the past couple of years. I think he's
probably past the age of which you see a lot
of people grow in height.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
But Jane Quaintance is it.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
As we learned yesterday when the new Kentucky Ben's basketball
measurements came out, that Jane Quaintin's who measured six' nine
two fifteen when he first came To, kentucky is now
six ten and a half and two hundred and fifty
five Pounds shannon two inches and forty.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Pounds do you believe THAT, jq at eighteen years old
is still? Growing?
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Oh, yeah at, EIGHTEEN i think you could still do.
It BUT i also think that there's maybe a combination of,
yes he's, growing but yes we're going to put him
in shoes and give that height as. Well SO i
think it's a combination of you, know some stat. BENDING
i don't think there's anything wrong with. That it doesn't really,
matter does. It does it matter to you if the
guy is six foot eight or six foot? Nine what
(12:22):
does that really matter at the? End LIKE i could
put on my driver's license That i'm six foot even
though Maybe i'm more like five ten and a half five,
Eleven but, HEY i could put six foot on.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
There they. Don't they don't measure. You they does ask.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
You but, like what's the? Purpose like is it supposed
to be more intimidating for whoever checks the?
Speaker 3 (12:37):
RUST i don't. Know is it?
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Maybe is it supposed to help him when it comes
TO nba. PROSPECTS i mean they'll probably do their own measure.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
EXACTLY i, mean that's not going to help, anybody because
when you get to THE nba, combine they're going to
measure you. Themselves they're not going to go off of
what some sheet at paper. Says SO i don't think
it really helps you at.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
ALL i.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
DON'T i don't really look that far into how you
know if a guy is six seven or six, eight who?
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Cares So i'm.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
With, you like it doesn't matter for the most. Part
but you see it a lot done on basketball, Rosters Kevin, Durant,
Giannis Anted. Tocumbo they're usually one or two inches, taller
maybe even three than what they really say they. Are
it's a white, lie a harmless or trivial, lie especially
one told to hurt or avoid hurting someone's. FEELINGS i
(13:22):
think probably all of us tell white lies throughout the. Day,
shannon have you ever told somebody they look good in
a dress when maybe they really don't?
Speaker 4 (13:29):
KNOW i think my thing Is i'm brutally honest with,
people and sometimes people think, that you, know they take that, as,
oh you're a.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Jerk oh, well AM i AM i a? Jerker or
AM i just being honest with?
Speaker 1 (13:41):
You so you would rather hurt somebody's feelings in the
instead of, say something that's.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Not if somebody doesn't look good in a, Dress i'm
not going to go up to that person and, say,
hey you look terrible in that. Dress BUT i would
say to that person in the, dress don't ask my
opinion if you don't want the.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Answer.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Okay if you ever came across somebody and you, say, oh,
YEAH i remember, you of COURSE i remember meeting.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
You, okay now you got, Me you got, me BECAUSE
i have done, that AND i am terrible with remembering.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Names SOMETIMES i will remember a.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Face but there's also times where somebody comes up to
me and they talk to me as If i'm their best,
friend and, like you remember that, night don't? You AND
i don't want to let them, down, right So i'll.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Go, yeah, yeah, yeah that was a FUN i, forget wasn't.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
It.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah, Meanwhile i'm GOING i have.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
No clue who this person is or what they're talking,
About SO i am guilty of.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
That.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
One, Yes i'm fine is one that people use a.
Lot that doesn't always mean that they're, fine fellas maybe some.
Advice if you're talking with your, Lady i'm fine doesn't
always mean. That maybe you're late and you said that
you were stuck in. Traffic i'm five minutes away is
the perfect cover from your when you're really maybe ten
or Eleven, Shannon, oh, yeah you're. Gonna but these are
(15:00):
all things THAT i think we do on a daily
basis a common occurrence of these white. LIVES i try
to be a very truthful, Person, shannon but there's also
times WHERE i say THAT i like the gift THAT
i got from, somebody and MAYBE i may never use that.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Gift, yeah the i'm five minutes from Where i'm going,
THING i feel like my friends do that to me
because then they show up an hour or.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Later but that's.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Egregious but, yeah if you say you're five minutes, away
that's technically it could be. True like If i'm, reality
let's Say i'm twenty minutes, away But i've got a
jet airplane right. HERE i, MEAN i could be five
minutes away IF i jumped on, that but in the,
truck you, Know i'm still let's say twenty five minutes.
Away so, YEAH i feel like friends do that to
me all the. Time i'm five minutes, away two hours
(15:41):
later here they. Are what happened to? You were you
riding a?
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Pony, no it was just In, lexington and the city
is poorly designed for.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Traffic.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
West, YES i love the underwear that you just got
me For. Christmas, Well i'm gonna wear these, socks thank.
YOU i, MEAN i don't think that's bad Because i'm, Lying,
shannon it's, actually you, know avoiding hurting that somebody's.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
Feelings we already know you'll wear any. Socks it doesn't
matter if they match or.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
NOT i don't Even i'm not gonna even show you
what Socks i'm wearing. Today you might get angry at.
Me but one that many people do that you don't, Do,
shannon IS i can't come in.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Today i'm. Sick you are, here rain or, shine, MAN.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
I have got more sick, Days Like i've maxed out
the sick, days and then when you max them, out
you don't get any.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
MORE i mean that's why it's maxed, out, right.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
There's no there's time to use the One i'm saying.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Exactly, SO i, mean, yeah at this, point you, KNOW
i could probably take off three months and be.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Okay here was my habitual white life for maybe three
or four. Years, Yes i'd love to hear about your
fantasy football. Team oh, Yeah, no nobody wants to hear.
THAT i hosted a fantasy show for three years AND
i had to become that guy that would, say, yes
let me look at your, roster let me tell you
what you. Want and, Uh, Shannon i'm GLAD i don't
do that. Anymore but a five nine two eight oh
two two eight. Seven if you want to tell about
(16:57):
the time that you lied about your, height maybe you
go in for your driver's license and, say maybe you're
a little taller than.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
You are a Shaded do you think people do it
On tender ADD i bet you if there are some
stat inflated in like white, lies you, know when it
comes to your, height your, weight you, know some some.
DECEPTION i feel like there's a lot of it probably
going on.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
On the, INTEREST i, mean just to get somebody to
bite on that Initial tender. Profile we know people are
lying about their age On, facebook SO i, mean who
knows the.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
One the one PLACE i know for sure that definitely
does not inflate their height or weight Is, rustling because
that is one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Legit when they say a guy weighs six.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Hundred and fifty two, pounds say trust, ME i watched
them step on the scale.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
Backstage it's.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
True but Yet i've also seen The andre The giant's
fist compared to a beer. Can and maybe there are
some guys out there that might be actually close to
their listed. Weight but that is a whole nother can
of worms that we can get into as. Well but

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Grass, Yes, well maybe maybe the thing.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Is you're all just a bunch of heathens in that,
neighborhood and you all will just fit in perfectly to.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Go it sound like a hypocrite talking about people's grasp
being too high and then not cutting it. Myself but
at the same. Time you know it was bothering, Me,
SHANNON i couldn't control. It, YEAH i could definitely control
my own.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Law you could have cut his.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
GRASS i would not cut. ANYTHING i couldn't anybody.
Speaker 3 (20:30):

Speaker 4 (21:49):
More this is one time THAT i actually Like cancel.
Culture we canceled the stupid. Remodel, Yes i'm so against Cancel.
CULTURE i think it's absolutely ridiculous and it goes too
but thus we were canceling the remodel Of Cracker. Barrel
this is somebody again that came in as A ceo
and had to basically feel like they were doing something
(22:11):
with their, job you, know justifying their position and coming
in and trying to fix something that wasn't.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Trip looking forward to hearing some of those, stories maybe
about the leopard that went right up To matt or
all the women that he's on the trip. With should
be some interesting. Stuff, shannon you have a sponsor you
wanted to tell us about?
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Here, yeah you, Know.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
BILLY i don't know If i've talked to you about,
this but WHEN i moved into my new home a year,
ago THE ac unit was like twenty eight years. OLD
i didn't know THAT ac units could even hang on that,
long BUT i, Said i've got to get this thing,
replaced AND i reached out to my friends at K
Lm heating And, cooling and they've been family owned and
operated since nineteen ninety. SEVEN i trust them in my.
Home you can trust them in yours as. Well they
(23:15):
have a, guarantee a satisfaction guarantee with one hundred percent
of every job that they. Do and they can put
a new train system in your, home which they're going
to do with. Mine you've heard of the train right
it's hard to stop a. Train have you heard of? That
or they're the best of the, Best so you can
go out to reach out TO Klm heating And. Cooling
they have flexible, financing keeping comfort affordable and they offer
(23:36):
financing options up to seventy two months on select systems upon.
Approval they do, residential they do, commercial they do, Industrial
they'll do it. All LIKE i, SAID i trust them
with my. Home you can trust them with yours as.
Well they take good care of you at K Lm
heating And COOLING.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
A five nine two eight zero two two eight.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Seven before we take our first, Call, SHANNON i was
watching back at The BILLY R sports.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Resident we are a TWO tv. Household we have two
TVs in.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
The living, room So i'm watching a little football and
she's watching her murder. Documentaries how to hide these dead.
Bodies it's you, know concerning on its.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Own are they side by side or stocked on top
of each.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Other they're a little, separated so one'es in like the
left corner of the, room one's in the, right so
you're kind of looking in different. Directions but out of
the corner of my, EYE i can't help but watch
The netflix stock that she's got, on and it was
one of the most bizarre STORIES i have ever. Seen
have you heard of The netflix Documentary Unknown number The
High School?
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Catfish you know anything about?
Speaker 3 (24:34):
THIS i know nothing about. This.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
OKAY i set this up poorly BECAUSE i don't want
to spoil it for. YOU i want you to go watch,
it but it is A my jaw.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Is on the.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
FLOOR i cannot believe how evil some human beings, Are,
shannon even somebody that's a. Parent how is it possible
that you could treat your kids so. Poorly i'm not
gonna explain, it But, shannon that might be one of
the most shocking DOCUMENTARIES i Have i've ever. Seen Unknown
number The High School. Catfish if you got nothing to,
watch maybe check that.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Out. SHANNON i could not keep my eyes off of.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
It, Well i'm interested in.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
That i'm also though intrigued by your two TVs in
one living. ROOM i feel like we may have touched
on this in the, past but, like how do you
determine who gets the? Volume like does one person have
to watch it with the volume up and the other
person has to watch it on?
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Mute like how does that even?
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Work, well this is a unique situation for.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Us my fiance is hard of, hearing so she mainly
relies on close.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Captioning, tokay watch her.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Movie so you could put hers on, mute tell her
to read the, movie and then you can have it
blasted over here on the.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Game BUT i always offer to let her have the.
Audio IT'S i don't need to Hear sean McDonough.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Trash oh, yeah you.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
Do the team McDonough is THE i mean next To Tom,
hart my favorite play by play.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Announcer it's not it's not important for me to have
the audio when it comes to, THAT a lot of
Times i'm watching something that doesn't need for me to.
Hear she's got to hear everything That Big brother's, saying
or one of these these documentaries like this unknown, number
if anybody's seen, IT i, mean just text me five
oh two two sixty, five sixty, six five, Six we
can talk about it a little, bit but just one
of those shocking things that you might never, Forget.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Shannon so that's my recommendation for.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
You is this like a five six seven part documentary
or just like one step every?
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Thing, NO i believe it's one or two.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
AGAIN i was just kind of like half watching, it
but one of those that you just could not stop watching.
It and so in a world where we're always looking
for something to, watch maybe that's your next.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Thing let's go to the phones, though eight five nine
two eight oh two two eight. Seven. UH i Believe
richard has been patiently. Waiting what's, Up? Richard how are you?
Speaker 3 (26:38):
WELL i went to the Game.
Speaker 7 (26:40):
Saturday they they played here was a difference to us
and Oh, miss Oh miss played sixty, minutes we played forty.
Five we'd have played the other fifteen minutes we were
won that football.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Game.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
UH i still Like. STOOPS i think he tries. Hard
i'm just hoping we can get this All finch together
and pick up a few more ball. Games full of
the seasons. Down also looking forward to the basketball, SEASON
i think will be possibly A final four. Contender ALL
i got for you. TODAY i appreciate.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
It thank.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
You as far as like a talent perspective on the football,
TEAM i like What i'm. SEEING i don't think that
we are that less talented than a lot of other
teams out. There, now, again this is only two games
to base it off, of BUT i didn't feel like
When kentucky stepped on the, field.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
They were false a.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Mismatched, YEAH i didn't feel.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Like they were inferior talent wise To Old. MISS i felt, like,
okay If Old miss is truly the twentieth best team
in the. Country and, again go back to the ap
poles we were talking about, yesterday where people aren't even
paying attention to the teams they're voting on in the Nap.
Poles but let's just pretend and let's play along and
say That Old miss is the twentieth best team in college.
FOOTBALL i didn't feel like That kentucky was that far
(28:02):
behind them and. Talent SO i just felt like it
was a lot of, mistakes a lot of confusion on the.
FIELD i think we saw that a couple of times
in the first quarter when they had to call of
time out because they didn't have the personnel on the
field or didn't know what play they were. Doing but
and maybe some bad play calling, Too SO i think
more of it was on the coaches this Ole miss
(28:22):
game than the players.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
Themselves would you agree with?
Speaker 1 (28:25):
THAT i mean to a, degree, YEAH i mean it's
just the margin for error is just razor thin with
This kentucky. Team, sure and while youays have a roster you're,
right and if you have a roster that is stacking
up to some of the teams in THE. Sec what
you can't have is operation. Era which you can't have
is bad clock. Management and you've got to figure out
the most important position in. Quarterbacks so those three THINGS
(28:47):
i think Holding kentucky back to a. Degree we did
get the news That Zach calzada is back at. Practice
Mark stoops says that both guys will be ready to
go On. Saturday probably will see both If kalzada is
progressing injury.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Wise BUT i.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Got the stat from our Guy Corey Price Shannon kentucky
football has five touchdowns this.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Season they are all.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Rushing last Time kentucky scored five touchdowns to start a
season with no passing touchdowns was back in two thousand and.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
Eight two thousand and. Eight. Wow, yeah that is a
little bit.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Concerning but, again Is Cutter bowley going to be our
guy moving forward or do you think it's going to
be klas. Out if you look At kalasado's, stats he's
basically throwing somewhere around fifty percent for the season so,
far and you can't have that out of your.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Quarterback, yeah it has. Been it has been a good
showing the first two.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
GAMES i, MEAN i respect marks toops for, saying, hey
just because somebody gets injured doesn't mean they automatically lose
their starting.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Job we've got to see how things.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Progress, yeah but does it feel like the writing's on
the wall a little bit here when it comes to that.
POSITION i, mean it seems like the rumbling is lowed
For Cutter.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
BOWLEY i, mean especially if If cutter comes out and
has a good.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Game but, again ALL i was.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Saying, yesterday is it really fair to Compare Cutter bowley
against An Eastern michigan.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
Team this is really really. Bad and compare that.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
To kylasada's first two games against a top twenty five
old this team and a Good toledo.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
TEAM i don't.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
KNOW i, mean we're gonna have to have more of
a sample size BEFORE i think we can really figure
out if Color cutter is that much better Than. Calsada and,
again it's going to also depend On calzada's. Injury is
that a lingering? Thing he's already had one shoulder injured
in his seven year career and now this is the other.
One SO i don't know how you know how much
(30:26):
of a lingering effect that's going to have on the.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
SEASON i, mean we talked about how important it is
to have a good backup For kentucky, football and what
game two is all it took Before kentucky needed to
go to that.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
Guy SO i, mean, look If i'm just going through
his stats, here like the last couple of, years And
i'm talking About Zach, calzada he you, know had a
pretty good twenty twenty three year through for nineteen, touchdowns
sixty six percent completion, percentage last year sixty five percent
completion percentage through for thirty five, touchdowns and then you
(30:59):
look at this, year he's forty no touchdowns through two.
Games SO i, MEAN i guess That kentucky's OFFENSE i,
MEAN i, MEAN i don't think That Zach calzada forgot
to throw a.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
Football you, know forgot how to throw a. Football so
what is?
Speaker 1 (31:12):
IT i mean it's something, well, YEAH i mean it's
a it's a little bit of a lot of, things,
RIGHT i, mean it's probably not just one overarching thing
that that he could fix and everything would be. SOLVED i,
Mean i'm sure there's some play calling issues With. Bush
we talked about the, operation him getting comfortable and not.
Pressing you, know you play the first game of the.
Year he start try to be a little bit Of,
superman and he said that. Verbatim he needs to Be
(31:33):
Clark Kent, moore and sometimes he just always wants to
be Super he's.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Been a lot Of Clark kent so. Far i'm gonna
find that. Cave somebody put a phone booth out there
on the. Sideline he needs to change.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
A lot Of Clark kent out. There let's go back
to the. PHONES i believe Free bird is.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Up what's? Up Free? Bird good to hear from.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
You he. Guys do we need to Give billy a graduation? Diploma?
SHANDON i think do.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
He graduated from mimosas to bourbon and? CIGARS i am
growing up now in the.
Speaker 5 (32:05):
World you do from mimosas to mimosas to two. Bourbons,
billy that's a Strong, uh that's a strong beledictorian right.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
There he's been.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Training And i'll tell, you Free, berg you fill up
that champagne glass to the very tip. Top those bourbon
glasses they really just give you a little POOR i
mean there's not much in the.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
Glass, yeah BUT i think THE a V v is
a lot, higher a little straight up bourbon than when
you're mixing champagne with orange.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Juice that's.
Speaker 5 (32:31):
True, hey one more, Question, uh are we having a full?
STAFF i know you're all going to be at What
clark's pumping shop In Nicholas, Field. Bridy that is.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Correct, Uh matt will not be, There billy will not be,
There so it's going to BE i, guess, well whoever's, left,
Myself drew And, ryan we'll be.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
There we'll be popping and. Shopping so you're you're gonna be?
Speaker 5 (32:55):
There, Shitning you're not going to be at The.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Louisville a little, NO i, MEAN i guess you're asking
Like bourbon And. BEYOND i will be At bourbon And
beyond later in the, afternoon BUT i will be At
clark's shop On.
Speaker 3 (33:07):

Speaker 5 (33:07):
Yeah, Well i'm about how to get out to see

Speaker 3 (33:11):

Speaker 5 (33:15):

Speaker 4 (33:16):
AM i am free. Bird i'm proud of, them free,
Bird i'm proud of. Them BUT i don't know THAT
i entirely believe EVERYTHING i think. That you, know we
were talking about white lies in the first. SEGMENT i
think maybe gave us a little bit of a white.
Live maybe he drank my half of one bourbon and
maybe like a couple of puffs off the, cigar and
then he told us he drank two full bourbons and
a full.
Speaker 3 (33:36):

Speaker 2 (33:40):

and is getting a ton of. Criticism it is infuriating
to see something like that a little BIT a lot
of people who don't have a vote see somebody do
something like that with the vote in the grand scheme of,
Things does it really? Matter i'm not, sure BUT i
Thought Peter burns made a great statement the other night
(37:42):
commenting on this. Situation a reminder that there are active
athletic directors on the college Football playoff. Committee so when
we're talking about the people who are deciding who is
in the, playoff the people who should be watching the
most college, Football, Shannon yet there are active athletic directors
on that.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
COMMITTEE i agree With.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Peter you can't tell me that those guys have enough
time in their day to watch all the nuance that
it takes to make the right decision for the college football?
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Playoff is he, Wrong?
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Shannon probably. NOT i don't think they're watching every.
Speaker 4 (38:11):

of it a lot of, times, Right, SO i, mean
how can you possibly sit there and watch every single?
Speaker 2 (38:18):
Game?
Speaker 4 (38:19):
Right it's just you, know you have to do the
best with what you, have, Though AND i, mean what

Teams, well we've seen how poorly that went with THE
bcs era for a. While, yeah you, know that's you,
know do you leave that in the hands of the
media or the? Fans probably not that are you don't
have a conflict of, interest you know WHAT i? Mean
like when The TEXAS ad And i'm not sure if
The TEXAS ad is on the, committee but When texas
(38:48):
is vying for seating and THE ad is one of
the people on the, committee that just doesn't seem.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
Right we're all, humans we all have. BIAS i could
SAY i have no bias towards anything in the, world
and that would be a, lie because we all it
doesn't matter who you, are if you're an, ad if
you're a.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
Fan if you're a, fan you definitely.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Do but if you're like someone that, SAYS i like,
sports BUT i don't like one particular, team nobody believes.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
That so you all have everybody has.
Speaker 4 (39:12):
Bias but you just got to try to PICK i,
guess the most trustworthy people that you can who you
just put it into their hands and hope that they're
gonna pick who belongs.
