Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everyone. It is the KSR Preacher.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Yeah, we are live at Country Boy Bring in Georgetown
one on one Innovation Way.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Come on by.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We're gonna be here till noon today. It's Friday, September fifth.
I had to think about that for a minute. We're
into September. Give us a call on the Clark's Pumping
Shop ball line eight five nine two eight oh twenty
two eighty seven be our whiskey Thief call of the day.
You can send us a text at five O two
two six five six six five six And the KSR
pre Show is being brought to by Italics Fine Italian
Donning in Lexington. We got the big game coming up

(00:31):
tomorrow Kentucky and Old miss Or the Cat's.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Gonna win tomorrow. What are we?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
How are we feeling? A spattering A spattering of cheers.
I don't think they were too convinced. Part of that
might be because they didn't really win convincingly against Toledo,
which I haven't had a chance to talk with you about.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But they got the win.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
They're one to o on the season, so let's stay
positive here, right. A lot of people already had Kentucky
losing the first game of the year. They're one to
zero going against a team that they beat last year,
and they played close the last several years?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Do you think they can keep it close tomorrow? Bill? Oh, Look,
it's great to have you back, Shannon.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
There's nothing going on in the sports world, only the
first week of the NFL, the second week of college
sports football. Shannon is gonna take his vacation no matter what.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
You're looking good.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You got a little tan going on too, So absolutely
glad to have you back, buddy.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
You didn't answer my question. What's the question? Will the
Cats hang with Old Miss? Well, the Cats hang with
Old Miss. I think they can.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I mean, if you look at the last four games,
they've all been decided by at least one score or
a field goals. So the Cats have kept it close.
But you're the one that has not reacted to Week
one yet, Shannon. Not the most convincing win versus Toledo.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
No, and am I the only one that thinks that
even though they won, I just didn't leave that game
really fully satisfied. It kind of felt it was boring
at times. Calazana did not look good.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
We'll get into all of that in just ten to
two at the end of three. So I mean that's fair.
We'll get into all of that in just a minute.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Swing by here at Country Boy bring at their tap
room and watch the cats this fall. They got their
menu packed with smoke barbecue, you can get the local beef,
smash burgers, game day snacks, and over twenty four taps
at the Country Boy Brewing location here, including Shannon the Dude. Yeah,
look at this, Shanon the Dudes brew which is about
to be out in Kroger stores this month, so look
for that in Kroger stores throughout Kentucky. And then we

(02:17):
got the pkl lex facility that we just hung out
at last week. I don't feel like we really spent
much time on the fact that I just beat you
down in pickle No.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
We did. We spent plenty of time talking about that.
We didn't really talk about it too much.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Like the fact that not only did I beat you,
it was like eleven to four, after I'd already played
at least twenty other games of pickleball, I smoked you.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Well, we didn't really talk about it. Listen, we need
to go back and revisit them.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Your pickleball guy, you've got your t mobile paddle. You
go out there with Rachel and play. You were nice
and warmed up. It was only my second time ever
playing the sport, so I thought I hung around with you.
But that facility is really cool, don't you think. I mean,
just like the green walls that go around at all.
It's got a really cool feel. And you can check
out some of the boy beer there as well. That's right,
it's Owen Street, right right off of Winchester Road. You

(03:03):
don't need a membership at that location.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
That's something that's, you know, sort of unique in that
a lot of these indoor facilities you have to have
a membership.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
You don't at PKX.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Can also check out their fourteen dollars lunch special, a
double cheeseburger, fries and a beer only fourteen bucks.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
You can't beat that. That's all I need right there.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
So let me tell you just coming in today before
we get into Kentucky football.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I got back into town yesterday and it felt like
everybody in the country moved to Louisbelle.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I don't know why, but no.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Matter where you were going, it was standstill traffic, and
I know it was raining a little bit, and people
all around. I don't know if it's like this everywhere
in Kentucky, but it is in Louisville. If it rains
a drop, people forget how to drive.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
If it snows just a little bit, people forget how
to drive. So yesterday, after I had driven ten hours
from Florida to Kentucky, getting through Louisville took me an
extra hour alone because of traffic. I don't know what
it was than the rain that backed everything up on
every highway, every express It didn't matter.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Where you were going, you were just gridlocked in traffic.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Then to this morning, I'm I'm a way here, same
situation and it wasn't even raining. And I don't know
what's going on in Louisville or why traffic is so bad.
But don't go to Louisville. I'm just telling you. Everybody
else is already there.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Don't go. Welcome to your old Kentucky home.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Here, Shannon Lexington is probably the worst designed city in
the country when it comes to traffic.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Louisville people forget how to drive when it rains.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Bowling Green, I remember they installed a roundabout and it
took maybe three years for people to figure out how
to use that thing. So maybe that's just a Kentucky thing.
But Shannon comes back from vacation and complains about traffic.
You really are getting up there in age time.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I'm just saying, like, I came all the way from Florida,
didn't hit traffic one bit, even got through Nashville. Nashville
was but Nashville has always got bad traffic. Somehow I
made it around Nashville no problem at all. I get
back home and it's like the apocalypse. I have no
idea why, but good to be back here with you though. Yeah,
absolutely all right, So let's talk Kentucky, Old miss. It's
three tomorrow. How are we feeling about this game?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I don't know. Man.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Like the game against Toledo again, as I've mentioned at
the top, I didn't feel great about it, even though
they got the win.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I think it's gonna be tough if.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Olema scores a lot of points, and by a lot,
I mean like anything over twenty four.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I don't feel good about their chances tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
So I think Kentucky can win this game one way,
and I think that is.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
With their defense.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, the defense looks great, and I mean a worse
Kentucky team beat Old Miss last year at Old Miss,
so it it's definitely possible. Kentucky has struggled to win
SEC games at home, so that's gonna be an issue
as well. I think Lane Kiffin's looking for a little
revenge in this one too, don't you, Shanon. I mean,
you hold him out of the playoffs. Maybe a game
if it got out of hand, he would not stop scoring.
But they've got a new quarterback. They only put up

(05:50):
sixty three points in their first game. Kind of what
I wanted Kentucky to do. Just score a little bit
more than twenty six.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
But look, this is why you play.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
It's any given Saturday, right, But they are gonna have
to play Grove Street Party if Kentucky wants any chance.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
I'm putting that down. I heard that was a big.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Conversation about the game atmosphere they played.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
It didn't play it? What was the song that they played?
I don't know. I didn't get to hear it.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Didn't hear I mean, I wasn't in the stadium. They
were just reports that they did not play it. We
had a sweet woman calling to the postgame show said
we wanted to hear the party.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Song, where's the party, Sweet little old Ladies? I want
to hear a Grove Street party. It's become a tradition.
I don't know why they would take that away, so
they are bringing it back. From the report that I saw,
the statement that was made by whoever organizes the music
at Krogerfield said that they still have it in the playlist.
It just wasn't like ever a situation in the game

(06:37):
to where they felt like they could play it.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
I guess they only play it.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I guess during situational you know, like if they get
a big touchdown.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
On their upfish or like that.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
But I thought there was a while where they were
playing it every chance that they could well, or at
the very least just played at the end of the
third quarter going into the fourth.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
That's where you see a lot of college teams play
a popular song like that.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I wasn't as impressed by Zach Calzada, but I'm willing
to give them another game. To Shannon, there's the rumblings
are allowed for Cutter Bowley, but I think we do
a disservice to the kid if we pulled him after
one game.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Can't now, but I was going to ask you if
you had to go on record tomorrow, Yeah, do we
see at any point in the game Cutter Bowley, Whether
it be because Kentucky is just getting blown out and
it's the fourth quarter and you say why not? Yeah,
because Calasada is playing really bad and you have to
pull them.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Do you think there's a situation tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
And let's hope there's not, you know, because Colsido stays
in the whole game, I think that means things are
going well for Kentucky. But do you think there's a
chance that Coudter Bully comes in tomorrow at any point
and gets once.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Now only do to injury. So I'm gonna go no
on the prediction here. It's too early to move away
from your six seventh year quarterback that you've probably spent
a lot of money to bring in. I did like
a KSR callers idea if it is going south to
bring Cutter in during Eastern Michigan. That way you get
some kings worked out. You have a bye week to
work that out, and then maybe you roll with him
after that. But look, I'm not ready to throw in

(07:57):
the towel yet. That first drive I thought he looked Okay,
I almost started to believe a little bit. It was
just the entire rest of the game. Along with receivers
only having four catches for twelve yards. They've got to
help zac out too, right, I mean, if they're not
getting open, he can only do so much. But it's
about not turning over the ball, right. Kentucky didn't have
any turnovers when they beat on this last year. Turnovers
and penalties always dictate football games, and Kentucky has to

(08:19):
be the more disciplined team if they want to shot if.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Like, you know, let's think positive here again, we're one
to zero. So Calazada didn't look great. Set that to
the side. I thought the running backs looked great. The transfers,
both of them looked great. Daldell is a doubt o
or Daldell. I think it's Daldell. Daldell I thought especially
looked good. I thought the old line looked much improved.
The defensive line looked much improved as well, And I

(08:42):
think the defensive line is going to be a big
key for tomorrow's game. Old Miss has got, like I said,
a really good quarterback, but he's a freshman. He does
make some mistakes. I think if they can put some
pressure on him. He did throw two interceptions against Georgia State,
even though they won like sixty three to sixty three.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Seven.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
He's also a lefty, yeah, which you don't see a
whole lot. I think if Kentucky can put some pressure
on their freshman quarterback up front, possibly make him force
him to make some mistakes, I think that's the path
that Kentucky can keep this game close in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Well, look, you're right about the defensive line. The pass
rush was much better in game one than it was
all last year. Alex Safari was great as well. But also,
you need to score touchdowns, right. It can't be a
game where you're kicking field goals in the red zone.
If you're gonna want to beat a really good team,
you're gonna have to have a big play happen. Last
year it was Verry on Brown down the sideline. Right,
What is that gonna play gonna be for Kentucky this week?

(09:32):
I'm hoping it's Kendrick Law. It was great to see
the tight ends get back involved. But this guy comes
from Alabama. He should be a star. They have to
produce if they're gonna want to keep it close.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
No, we can't get you on the six and six
boat yet.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
But if Kentucky were to pull off the win tomorrow, oh,
we're all on board, We're on the train.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah, And I'm.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Gonna say no, it's too late. It's too late, as
I had the invite on the boat. The boat has
left the dock. The six and six boat has left
the dock. Anybody that wants to jump on that now too?

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Well.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Look, that's why it's called jumping on the bandwagon, right,
I mean, the wagon's leaving and you just get jump.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Problem is the bandwagons on land. The boat's already left,
so you have to swim out to shore.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
To get Okay, Well, I mean it would be I
think a real change in how we talk about the
team if they were to win versus old miss right.
I mean a lot of people are waiting for Kentucky
to stumble to really confirm what they've said all year, right,
is that Mark Stoops should be out and blah blah blah.
If he were to get that win tomorrow, then I
think that really changes the narrative and gives you a
lot of optimism.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
But it just goes to show you though, especially in football,
when you're not playing nearly as many games as you
are in basketball or maybe you know, baseball, One game
flips our opinion on his entire tenure so much so. Yeah,
going back just a couple of years ago, remember we
were all talking about let's build a statue for Mark Stoops. Yeah,
then he has four wins last year, like, oh, let's

(10:52):
get rid of the guy.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
You know.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
So it just shows you, like, just.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
One or two games, one or two breaks one way
or the other, can really just form our opinions on
whether or not Stoops here.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Well, look, fan is short for fanatic.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Let us be fanatics, Shannon and change our opinion based
off of every play in every game.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
But look, I mean this would change a lot.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I mean, if they were to get that win, it
would change a lot when it comes to the discussion
about Zach Calzada, about Mark Stoops's future. But what Brad
White looked really good last week. The defense looks good
besides those last couple drives. Let's hoe we can keep
that up.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
If Kentucky wins this game, I think it takes a
lot of pressure off for the rest of the season
because this game coming up Saturday. If we all looked
at it going in, We're like, that's a loss. But
how do you get to six and six? Is you
you beat the teams that you're supposed to and then
you pull off an upset or two, like one or two. Yeah,
that's right, and this could be yours tomorrow. Yeah, this

(11:45):
would go a long way. And we're due because when
was allowed, we're due. Kentucky won a home SEC.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Well, see that's the thing, like it's it has not
been pretty in the SEC at home. I think that
may be one of the biggest obstacles, is Kentucky even
winning at home. But that's why they scheduled the poop States, right,
that's right. When one game is so important to the conversation.
That's why this nine game conference schedule in the SEC
is is really put Kentucky in a bad spot.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Ay five, nine, two eighth, twenty two eighty seven, we're
live here at Country Boy Brewing. You can come out.
You can get their country Light beer. They've got the
Hazy Jumper in. That's the IPA. Are you an IPA drinker?

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Yeah? Much a little strong?

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah, I know, mimosas are police or you're yeah, that's right.
Look at I have not seen this one before. This
is Big Bait Kiwi watermelon nine point five percent alcohol.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Do you know that guy? Is that Joey Chestnut on
them can? Or who is that?

Speaker 2 (12:32):
I don't know, but we're going to keep you away
from that one because that's nine point.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
They got smash burgers here too, man, I may have
to try one of those before I get out of here.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
And they got the Blue Ras which is a blue
raspberry hard apple cider.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
So I can get behind a little blue rass. There
you go. So how long before we get to you know, start.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
After the show, Shannon, I've learned my last that one
time I was drinking that bourbon coffee during the show.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
I learned my lesson, Shannon.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
So all right that the Big Bait watermelon looks like
it could be trouble. I mean that is a nineteen
point two ounce nine point five percent abva. Oh wow, yeah,
so be careful with that one. Anyway, you come out here,
you can hang out with us. We got a lot
going on. I'm gonna be here till noon today. Try
their food, try their beer. It's the KSR pre Show.
We'll be right back live from Country Boy Brewing in Georgetown.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Welcome back.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
We are live at Country Boy Brewing in Georgetown with
the KSR pre show. We got a Vision Glass back
there hanging out with us giving out free glass cleaner.
Go to a vision glass dot com or just come
on by and you can get some free glass cleaner.
You know, glass cleaner is something you always need, sure,
whether it's around the house, whether it's I use some
on my car windshield.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Oh yeah, that's what I've used mine to as well,
even though it's still got a big crack in it.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
And you could come out.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Oh yeah, well we'll talk about that later. We'll talk
about that l with R way. But anyway, did you know, Billy,
this is.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
The first purpose built brewery in Kentucky since the Prohibition.
Oh wow, that's awesome. That's a cool fact about here.
You could come out here. They're gonna they'll give you
like a little tour.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
You can learn about the brewing process and see how
a country Boy gets into cans. And that was really cool,
like when they were canning my beer, to watch it
go around like the little just.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Like the conveyor belt, like how it's made.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
The assembly line is all just machinery, you know, and
they just have a thing that slaps the label on
it pours the beer in it.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Well, we got a mass producer. A lot of people
want those beers, Shannon, and the can looks great, by
the way, I have said that, but that killed it.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Shout out to Ben Runko, who used to work at
Kentucky Brandon. But he is a local artist who drew
all that by hand. And coming from somebody who can
barely draw a stick figure, somebody who can do caricatures,
I have like all the respect in the world for
because I have zero artistic ability. But he's the same
guy that did the Alice Bluegown logo. Yeah, and he

(14:42):
and that's when we were trying to find an artist
for the can. He came to mind and I said,
I've got this guy who's a good local artist who
can probably do that. And I think he knocked it
out of the park. It's really cool.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Well, it's got you singing, it's got you wrestling, it's
got you on the radio. I mean, the only thing
that's missing is like a giant pumpkin on the can
or something like that.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
I mean the pumpkins. By the way. I came back,
I've got like ten pumpkins out there. Stop they are rolling.
You thought you were gonna get one, and now we
got ten.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I mean we're talking Biggins ten Biggins, as John Shorp
would say.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Okay, so I'll bring you one when it's time to
harvest it. Good, I'll carve it up all right.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
This segment sponsored by our friends at Draft Kings Sports Book.
By the way, how about the KSR parlay actually hitting
in week one?

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Huh wow?

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Come on, come on, you could have won some money
last week if you bet the KSR Part.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
One and one. I mean, let's remember this not often
that you're one hundred percent one to no, that's right,
and you know I was looking on for one. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
The Cats started off I think a ten and a
half point dog. Now it's down to eight and a half.
You can bet it on Draft Kings Sports Book with
promo code KSR. You bet five dollars relieve they're gonna
give you three hundred dollars in bonus.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Bet a pretty good deal.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
It was two hundred now it's three hundred or no,
maybe it's back to two hundred, three hundred last week,
now it's back to two hundred. Either way, you can
get it hundreds of dollars. Let's just put it that way.
When you sign up with Promo code ks are on
the Draft Kings sportsbook.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
No here it is three hundred dollars. Either way, just
get on dres Kings.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
If you're new to Draft Kings, maybe a thought, Maybe
I can watch some of these games that I don't
really care about and put some money down on it,
and all of a sudden it makes it fun. Like
last night, Eagles and Cowboys. I don't like either one
of those teams. I hate the Eagles. I've already talked
about Philadelphia. I can't stand Philadelphia. I hate the Cowboys
because I grew up a Packers fan and the Cowboys
beat the Packers in the playoffs every year in the nineties.

(16:20):
At felt like so, I don't like either one of
those teams. But you get on DraftKings, you put down
five bucks, you know, get a little skin in the game.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
All of a sudden, now you care. H Yeah, hopefully
you bet the under last night. Oh, I know right.
We'll get into that in just a minute. But let
me tell you.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
If you sign up with Promo COKSR bet five, get
two or maybe even three hundred dollars on Draft Kings.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
The crown is yours.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
If you have a gambling problem, call on eight hundred
gambler eighteen plus Kentucky only. Eligiblity restrictions applied on the
SPECSIC expires seven days after issuance. See sportsbook, DraftKings dot
com slash promos for Draft Kings sportsbook. All right, let's
talk about that game last night. It had all the
drama that you would expect in a big rivalry game
between the Eagles and the Cowboys. On the kickoff, you
had an injury guy gets carted up off, you had

(17:01):
uh a spitgate going on a guys, who was it?

Speaker 1 (17:04):
That was it?

Speaker 3 (17:05):
It was Jalen Carter that spit on Dak Prescott. But
we have an alternate camra angle, Shannon. I don't know
if you've seen this, but Dak Prescott spit at Jalen
Carter first first, right before Jalen Carter spit on him.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
It was return fire.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
It was Dak Prescott made a statement after the game saying, yeah,
I spit on the field sometimes. It's probably not a
great habit, it's something that I do. It was not
directed towards Jalen Carter. Jalen Carter was directing his spit
towards Dak though that was intentional. He is a huge
part of that game, so for him to be ejected
before the first offensive play completely changed it.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
So do you do you blame Dak? Then?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
I don't know because I don't know. I couldn't tell,
like was he spitting towards the ground or was it
because I mean, if you spit towards the ground, it's obvious, right,
But when you're spitting at someone, I could see it
where Carter could see maybe that he's may maybe think
that he's spitting at him.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Oh there's a spitterer on the grassy knoll, Shannon, is
what I saw this morning. He was kind of behind
his two linemen, so like if these were the linemen,
he was like behind the chairs, right, and then spits
towards Jalen Carter. Jalen Carter's like right here and spitting
down at him.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, that's the one thing that would probably get me
in a fight. Chant.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
I think if somebody spit on me or my significant other,
those are fighting words, is it not?

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Yeah, for sure, I mean that's that's first of all disgusting.
If you did that during COVID, they probably would have
taken you and thrown it out of kator out all.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Out if you did that during COVID.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
But yeah, I mean, I'm sure that happens throughout the game,
but you can't do that the very first like play,
not even the first player is the kickoff, like you said,
before the first play even happened, he's out of the
game for spitting.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Bizarre start.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
I mean, guy gets carted off the field and you
got people spitting on each other. You had the lightning delay,
lightning delay hours which I couldn't make it through. Shannon
passed out on the couch, could not watch the end
of that. I didn't make it to the end either,
Ceedee Lamb could not catch.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
A ball to save his life. And the Eagles end
up winning twenty four to twenty. But it was, you know,
like I said, had a lot of drama for the
opening kickoff game.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Yeah, good to have football back.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
And now we get the little the doubleheader, right, College
football Saturday, NFL full.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Slate Sunday Chiefs and Chargers in Brazil. So when did
they start doing Friday?

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Is this? Did they do that last year? Like a
Friday game.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
I don't remember, but they've been doing more international stuff.
So they went to Germany I believe last year. Now
they're going to Brazil. I think many people would say
that there's going to be a team in London maybe
in the next decade or so.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I don't know if that if.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
We ever get that far, but you know, it'll be
interesting to see how the crowd is like in Brazil.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
The first college football game that was over in Dublin, Doublin.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah, I'm like, why are we playing that?

Speaker 2 (19:39):
I mean, I understand like for the to expand the brand,
to make it, you know, a worldwide thing, but just
play that game here.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Well, I think the best part of college football is
the pageantry, is the home games.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yeah, and we just didn't get that atmosphere right, exactly right.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
So but we'll maybe get that when they expand the playoffs,
you know, so maybe we get some of that on
the back end of the season.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah. Five nine, twenty two eighty seven. Who do we
have up first? Rick? We have Nick up first? Hey? Nick? Hey, Nick?
What's up? Hey?

Speaker 4 (20:08):
Good morning fellas. Uh Shannon missed you this week. I
got got a few questions from you for you man,
because I heard a couple of things this week on
KSR that that's like you had answer for. First, is
it true that when y'all went to uh, when y'all
went out to Bowling Green, did you really choose to
go to Fizzoli's with the crew? That's the first question,
because that's what they said, all right. Sec The second

(20:30):
question I want to hear for you man is uh.
After that is I'm going to the game tomorrow. And
you guys mentioned atmosphere. If Shannon the Dude was running
was was was the DJ over at Krogerfield for the game?
What would the atmosphere look like?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Well, first of all, it would be awesome.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Nobody would be sitting down because my playlist would be
so immaculate that it would.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Just be on another level. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
But you know, I've always wonder why don't they just
pull the people who are going to be there at
the games? Why not pull the fans and then pull
the players? Ask the players what would you want to
hear during the game? Ask the fans what would you
want to during the game, And then take both of
those answers and combine a big playlist, and then everybody's happy.
The players get to hear the songs they want, the
fans get to hear the songs they want.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
You sound like a radio DJ. And that's very considerate
of you to take what during a football game.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Crazy thought that maybe you would ask the people who
are going to be involved in an experience what they
might want to hear.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
I mean, seems like common states. We know that's not
very common anymore exactly.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
And then the first question, the answer is yes, absolutely,
I picked Fazzoli's. I love Fazzole's. I don't know how
I don't have a Fazzole's endorsement. Yet you go there,
you get unlimited breadsticks. The food is always say this guy,
and so yeah, if I had Bowling Green, mean, I
don't know what else was in Bowling Green at the time.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
It was like mister bees, Yeah, McDonald's, double Dogs, Donald's,
Darry Queen or Fazzole's gone to Hilligan's.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Give me some Fazzolei's got an appetite for bread.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Stone that was going. Matt was going after you for
it yesterday, man, So you got to you gotta let
him hear.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
It, well he can eat it. And I did.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
It was literally.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Thank you, Nick, Well, I will say, Matt did say
that you should DJ the UK football games.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
You should be the one in charge of the appas.
I would love to, but i'd be a little too
much Stone Temple Pilots, I'm sure, But no, I would
do exactly what I told you just then. I would.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
I would pull the fans, pull the players, and then
combine that playlist.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
So if I want Doomis Walker to be played, are
you gonna play Doomas Walker?

Speaker 2 (22:24):
I mean if we ask a thousand fans and they
all say yes, then we would.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Okay, all right, We're gonna take a break.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
We're live out here at Georgetown at the coundru Boy
Brewing location.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
The song Betty Davis Eyes heard that before this by
Keim Carnes, I think originally, but this is Jojo Siwa?

Speaker 1 (22:43):
This is the right? Is this the version rick Jojo Siwa? Yes?
This is okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I wanted to make sure, all right, So when I'm
driving around a lot of times, especially if I'm on
a road trip, I'll just pull up YouTube and just
go on a playlist and just let it play like okay.
So somehow I got into uh I guess Betty Davis eyes.
This song came up on my playlist and I was like,
I know that song, but who is this?

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Turns out it's this Jojo Siwa. Yeah, you're a big fan.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Well, I actually think it doesn't sound that bad. But
everybody on YouTube is crushing this song like. It's got
over a million views and it just came out a
month ago. It's a cover, obviously, but the comments are
just absolutely brutal, and it seemed like nobody likes this version.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Of the song. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
I don't know if it has anything to do with
how it sounds either. I think it's just who's singing it.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
So turn it back up, Rick, let's hear it for
a minute.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
This is what you're listening to on your vaca. This
came up, yes, little Jojo Sewa. I mean, I don't
know if he's listening to Jojo Sewa. I really don't
know anything else. This is ridiculous. Can you stop this?

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Shut up? Is it that bad? Yeah? It's not great.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Well, and this is one of these people that just
don't deserve to be famous.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
You know how we make people famous that have no talent? Wow? Jojo?
See what Rick? You could turn it down now what
a joke? Wow?

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Okay, why does want to read some of the comments?
Because I was like, this is absolutely brutal. I didn't
think it was that bad. Apparently everybody else hates it.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
One person says the raspin auto tune or fighting each other? Uh,
and it will hot me forever. Another person says this
isn't a cover or a song. This is a warning
to all people who smoke. Another person says this is
another win for the deaf.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Ah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Another person said that song didn't get released, it escaped.
I mean, people are just crushing this song. This song
sounds deep fried. One other person says, going to play
this at my funeral. So people are jealous that I'm
in the car.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Okay, So all of us have just polled by Shannon
the dude. We all vote for a little jojo. See
why you're gonna play that for the atmosphere of the
football game.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
If people want that song? See, your logic's flawed there?
Why is it flawed?

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Because you're just gonna take the majority of what people
want and people can mess with that and put and
put jojo?

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Siwas, so do you think there's people out there that
are so interested in sabotaging my my poll.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Yes, they will just be there.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Needs to be an expert in charge of the music,
not the people, Shannon. If you're at a wedding and
somebody comes up and request a song, hold on, I'll
take exception to that expert. Yes, I've been DJ and
on the radio playing music for half my life.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
I said, you're an expert. That's what I mean. You
should be involved.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
You're saying, but if you're gonna just pull the fan base,
we're gonna put Jojo Seawood up there, or all the
old misfans are going to come and invade your poll
and put up you know, baby shark, do do do do?

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Let me ask you, young sportsman, how do you think
the playlist on radio or come up with?

Speaker 1 (25:43):
To begin with?

Speaker 2 (25:44):
They don't just pull a song out of the thin air.
They do research.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, they pull people and say which of these songs
do you like? We're not on the radio, but that
is how.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
They come up with the fifty songs they play on
a loop every day on the radio because people.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Said that that's the thing.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Yeah, you're only playing the same songs the entire time.
We need a little variety. I'd like to hear Shannon
the Dude's taste come in, not just the poll of
majority people.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Anybody could do.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
That's the thing though, If I'm djaying a game, it's
not about me. It's not about what I want. If
I played what I wanted, it would be ac DC, Stonetople,
Pilots and Alison Chains. I love that music, but it's
not necessarily all good for that type of environment. So again,
I think that's why they need to reach out. We've
always talked about the UK sort of being like out
of reach when it comes to like what the fans want. Yeah,

(26:30):
so why not ask the fans what they want? That's
all I'm saying. If I were in charge, that's what.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
I would think.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
Okay, well, you know I take back everything I said
after you made me listen to a minute of Jojo
Siwa this morning.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
I really don't trust you to play the right app
Who is that?

Speaker 3 (26:42):
It's just a TikTok influencer that's more famous than she
should be.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
So you think she has no talent.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
I mean she's doing something on camera and I guess
you gotta be brave to do that and embarrass yourself
on a daily basis.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
But look, I didn't think it was nearly as bad
as the hate that it was getting. That's all I'm saying. Okay,
I'm nine to twenty two eighty seven. All right, the
power Ball is up to one point seven billion? Is
it time to go get a ticket? One point seven
billion dollars? Will you be getting a ticket?

Speaker 3 (27:09):
I just don't have any magic numbers, Shane. I don't
have my numbers to play. You know, doesn't everybody have
the same thought that they go play when it's up
to one point seven billions?

Speaker 1 (27:18):
So my odds are going to be even worse. So,
I mean I played the other night.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
I just did a quick pick because I feel like
if I just pick birthdays, there's literally no chance that's
gonna happen. So I would rather the machine maybe screw
up and give me, okay, give me some numbers that
it might actually come in and win.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
But I'll be playing. I mean, why not. It's it's it's,
like I said, nearly two billion dollars.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
I think that's one of the highest amounts that it's
ever been for the power Ball.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
So if you play, good luck. If I'm nine to
I might have to. I might have to. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
So you know, we talked a little bit about the
college basketball game that might be coming out from EA Sports.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Have you seen the latest update on this. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
I a big, big advocate of college basketball video games.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
If they had it out, would buy it. Big change, right, there's.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
A big change coming because EA Sports just a couple
of months ago tweet it let's run it back and
basically implying that they were going to release a college
basketball video game.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
I think within like what twenty twenty eight I think
it was.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Right now, two K has gotten involved and they're wanting
to do a college basketball game, but in their version,
they only want to include like the biggest brands. So
if you're like, you know, a power school, power power
Fouve Conference team, they would have you in there for
that video game. But it's only an extension of the
two K NBA game instead of what EA Sports was

(28:36):
wanting to do, and that's include three hundred and fifty
basically all of the D one college basketball games or
college basketball teams in this game. But now EA, because
of two K wanting to be involved, EA wants to
be exclusive and they're backing out of it. So now
it looks like, we're not going to get a college
basketball video game, and if we do, it's going to
be a dumb down version of two K.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Yeah, you know, there's there's good and bad with this
because I was really looking forward to a whole game, right,
this could be a cool thing for college basketball, and
EA could have done that. EA is also a company
that's driven sports games into the ground, I mean micro transactions,
the state of Madden, the games that EA is in
charge of, they have done a really poor job with
but two K has done a lot of the same.

(29:17):
I'm not going to give them the entire pass, but
they've also produced a lot more basketball games, including the
two K games that they've been doing recently. I saw
that there were some big brands that didn't want EA
to make it. They wanted two K to make it,
so there was a lot of drama. I think, really
the only losers out of this is us, right right,
because well, eventually we'll get a game.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
You know.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
It's weird because I think the EA did a really
good job on the NFL games, But I feel like
when it came to college basketball, for whatever reason, like
in I'm talking about you know, when they it was
like two thousand and five, two thousand and six, two
thousand and seven, all those years where every year they
would come out with a new game. I like the
two K version actually better of college basketball, yeah over
the EA Sports one.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Well, Mario might know the most about this College Hoops
two KA one of the better college games.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Of all time. I've still got that one.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
But heya made a good NCAA nine with Blake Griffin
on it or something, so both had good games.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
But you know, so I guess two K is gonna
be making it now, is that what you're saying?

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Yeah, and it's not gonna be so like for me,
if I wanted to play the video game and let's say,
use my alma mater, Bellerman, they probably wouldn't be on
the two.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
So no Western Kentucky because this is just an extension
of two K, and they're not going to license all
three hundred and sixty five.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Picks, right, So I'll bring that up to say that,
you know, as somebody again who would probably go out
and buy a gaming system only for that game though,
because yeah, you.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
Know, I used to be a big gamer. Now I'm
not really at all.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Don't really have a PS whatever or an Xbox whatever
they're up to on that. But if they were to
put out a full blown college basketball video game, I'm in.
But on this two K version, I don't think that's
gonna be enough to make me want to go out
and spend four hundred dollars on a gaming system and
then another however much video games are seventy eighty bucks
on a game.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Yeah, I mean the new two K got some good reviews,
but we'll see if they can, you know, translate the
path your tree of college sports into two K and
and hopefully make it a good game or.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Whatever it is. So you said you had a fair
or foul for me during the break.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Oh well, it just goes back to like wedding, like
the request of songs in the in the discussion we
had with that, you know, what is your Is it
fair or foul to request a song at a wedding?
So you're not the brider groom, you're just there hanging out.
Can you go up to the DJ in request a song.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
At a wedding?

Speaker 2 (31:24):
I say no, because again, you're a guest at the wedding.
This wedding has nothing to do with you. You're just
like a you're a side character, all right, Like, stay
in your lane. You're not the main character in this
wedding yet, right, So if you're at a wedding, like
the wedding already has a playlist, I would assume. I
don't think you're just gonna have a wedding and let
the DJ just go nuts and play whatever they want.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Right, what bride is going to do that? Right?

Speaker 2 (31:47):
So, No, if you're at a wedding and you're a guest,
you stay in your lane. You sit there and you
eat the free food, you congratulate the bride and groom.
You don't go up and start making playlist. It requires
keep talking, but donk at donk just because you want
to hear it.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Well, the drinks start flowing.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
You're on the dance floor, and a lot of people
like to make requests, you know, they want to hear
a little journey.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
But I'm with you, I'm going foul.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
You cannot request songs not at your own wedding because
I think the briding groom a lot of times have.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
No playlist songs.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Right the Yeah, I think like the chat chaw slide
isn't welcome at every wedding, And so you tell the
DJ that if you don't want to hear the chat
chaw slide and then somebody coming up requesting it, and
I mean, you could ruin the whole evening.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
So I would say, if you're at a wedding and
the answer is absolutely never, do you go up as
a guest and request a song from the DJ. Although
I will be doing that at your wedding, other Billy's wedding.
If Billy's wedding, you can do it anybody else's wedding.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
And what are you gonna request, Alice blue gown? Maybe
make your head a little bit bigger or what?

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Maybe some helios? Maybe maybe some bit. I mean, you know,
we gotta do something to drive up the views on YouTube.
Lill Steeler's wheel maybe or maybe some Jojo siewel. Oh
you will now, I'll kick you out when you can

All right, welcome back.

Final segments of the KSR pre show at Country Boy Brewing.
Come on out, We're here til noon. You can get
some Country Boy Brewing beer. They've got twenty four on tap,
delicious food. Like we said, great place to watch the
game as well. It's all here for you at Country
Boy Brewing. Shitting the dude and Billy Relige, Billy who
drives a charger, we were just talking during the yes
the break.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
I drove a charger on my trip. Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
You know when you go to the car rental place,
they're like, you never know what you can get. Usually
a lot of times I would just go basically dealer's choice.
You tell me whatever you got, we'll see what because
sometimes you show up and you get something nicer than
what you could get at that price point if it's
just there in the parking lot. So sometimes you may
show up and it's a truck, or it could be
a mini van, or it could be a charger, And

(34:48):
I was like, give me that charger so I can
drive like Billy ourspo.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Wow, look at that, and I'll tell you like it was.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
It was really really you're back into people in the
parking lot and refuse to park next to people.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
I didn't get stuck on a gravel maut Wow, and
do any of that? So do you have hemy in
there or windows down reving it up? Or was it
a V six?

Speaker 2 (35:04):
I have no idea. I didn't look under the hood.
I assumed you know, it's a rental car. It's good
to go. But uh, I bring this up because did
you see this was like from a couple of weeks ago.
But Trent Noah actually autographed someone's I believe it was
a Challenger that they had autographed their car. And I
want to ask you, is there any celebrity Billy? I
know you love your car, but is there any celebrity

(35:26):
that if you met them, you would be okay with
them autograph in your car? And let's let's just pretend
it's gonna be permanent, okay, put in some sort of
permanent paint on your car.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Is there any celebrity you'd be okay.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Just going up and signing your Well, I've seen people
do this with tattoos, right, they get an autograph and
they'll get that tattooed. I would never do that. Yeah,
But like if David Blaine wanted to sign my car,
I think I'd keep it David Blaine. David Blaine musician,
You know I mean I mentioned the magician. Yeah, the
street magic guy. I was watching a video of him
a couple of days ago, and it's just I don't know.
That guy just blows my mind. So I think the

(35:56):
list is a little longer then i'd like to, But
I think David Blaine would be number one for me.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
What about he used to watch all of his uh
he had like that reality. I don't know if his
reality there's like some sort of magic show that he had,
like on the street where he would make.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Like a car just disappear. Do you remember have you
seen that?

Speaker 3 (36:15):
I have seen people make a car disappear. I don't
know if I've seen David Blaine do it. There's another guy,
is it Chris Angel that does a lot of that stuff. Yes,
he's a little freaky though, like he he was mine freak.
That was Yeah, well that's why I was thinking about that.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Terry writes on Twitter. Okay, guys, football, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
But what we really need is an update on the
loose snake at Billy our sports parents' house. Oh yes,
so yeah, I'm curious because I haven't asked you that
this morning. We know from was it a week or
two ago? How long has this snake been week and
a half? So a week and a half ago, a
ten foot python went missing inside of Billy's parents house,

(36:52):
and we need to know is the snake still missing
or if we captured the snake.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
They have found the snake, Syeah alert the neighborhood.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
I started to feel a little bad when we were
talking about it, and they said, you know, if it
got out that it could be terrorizing pets in the
neighborhood of things like that.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
So we have gotten the snake.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
I called my sister, I said where was the snake
at and she said it was right under the enclosure.
It was not there when they originally looked, but it
went back to the scene of the crime. It was
right underneath the enclosure that it already lives.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
It so Shan is trying to go home. It was
just trying to get home. It went out for a
little joy ride.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
I guess it explored the house and then tried to
get back in and could not. I kind of like
threw what I had in my hand when I heard
that at the time. So as I've been playing this
up on the radio. I'd like for this, you know,
to be in a weird spot, right, No, it's right
underneath the enclosure.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
But it was. It was gone for about a week,
maybe a little less.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Now that we have found the snake and it went
on a week long vacation, can we maybe give the
snake some sort of tracker? Can we put one of
those Apple tags on the snake, just the Apple air
tags for the sake of everybody involved, including your you know,
neighbors within proximity of your house or your parents house.
So we you know, if this thing gets loose again,
we'll know where to find it.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Yeah, it's not a bad idea, you know those things
about Apple air tags.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
It's not very precise.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
You can see it's in your house, but not really
what room it's a you know, So maybe we need
to set up cameras. We may need to find some
sort of solution, you know. But Kentucky Acres can rest.
The ten football python has been found.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
That's great news. All right.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
If I'm nine to twenty two eighty seven, let's go
back to the phones and talk to Jake.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Hey, Jake, he's gone. Oh, Jake's gone. We still who's next?
Got John Short, John Short, we need some we need
some predictions from John Short. What's up, John? How many
are the Cats gonna win by tomorrow?

Speaker 5 (38:38):
Doug Gray rings one of my team being and smart,
and we won last night. And saw y'all didn't bring
that we won last night. None of the three in soccer.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
That's right, three biggins?

Speaker 5 (38:48):
John?

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Yeah, yeah, I know you watched that Kentucky Nebraska game.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
How about that. I didn't get a chance to bring
that up either. That was, oh the most watched volleyball game.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
Yeah, the numbers were insane for that and unfortunately they lost,
but it looked they look very competitive for the first
I guess couple of sets.

Speaker 5 (39:07):
Yeah, first couple games. And tonight you played Pennsylvania State.
I believe of us.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
All right, there you get, Yeah, penn State number five
team in the country. John, it'd be a tough test
on the road.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
It would be when that one and we were once
tomorrow by team begins. I know, so I'm ready for
I gained him. And if you will do with songs
for the games, head back Kentucky walt No.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
Bill and Rose though the Kentucky Waltz.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
Yeah, all right, all right.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
See say there you go. There's your request thing though,
But here's the thing. You're not just polling one person.
You're polling a lot of people. So unless thousands of
people request the Kentucky Waltz, then it wouldn't get played.
I would just have to say, sorry, John, I can't
play it. You're the only one who requested that Kentucky
Waltz for the cast to run on into the field.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
I just see people are gonna see the Kentucky Waltz
as an option and they may vote for it. Shannon,
that's all the way. Yeah, I think you put too
much faith in humanity on this one.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Thanks to the colleg John, good to from you. No,
I'm just saying like it's an open slate.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
It's not this or that. I'm not giving people a
multiple choice.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Oh you got to ride in and you got to
write in and on the ballot what songs you want
to hear? Okay, I'm just saying, I hear see Ryan
over here. I hear that he's gonna be doing a
pep talk later.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Hates bringing it back. Is that true? That's what I've heard.
We haven't had a Ryan pep talk in a long time,
probably rightly so.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
I mean, he started to get a little extravagant at
the end of those things.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Maybe some of the things.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
That he was referencing not always appropriate. Uh, but I've
never been more excited for a man to take a
shirt off in my life. I think I need to
see a Ryan Lemon pep talk.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
Well, I think we're gonna get one coming up here
next hour or probably in the eleven o'clock hour for
Kentucky tomorrow on Old Miss. All right, you want to
make your prediction, since you're not gonna be on KSR.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
What happens tomorrow? Sure?

Speaker 3 (40:45):
I you know this series has been really close over
the last four games. Kentucky is at home. I think
their toughness is tested. I do think they keep it close,
but I'm gonna go with an Ole Miss victory by
three at the Bush.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
All right, Well, you know what if they play that
well though, I think that's going to give fans a
lot of optimism moving forward.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
I think so. I mean, and there was a lot
to be optimistic about in week one, but you are
going to have to figure out the quarterback spot.

Speaker 3 (41:10):
This is going to shine a light on some of
your biggest problems, including the quarterback you.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Can bet the eight and a half that Kentucky is
an underdog against Oleness on DraftKings promo code KSR. Bet
five dollars, get three hundred dollars in bonus bets. It's
all there for you on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Live betting,
same game parlays, player props, and so much more with
the Draft Kings Sports Book. All right, big thanks to
everybody who came out for the pre show.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Ear yes, thank you. Here at Country.

Speaker 2 (41:33):

twenty four taps that they have here. Great food as well.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
