Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everyone to another edition of the KSR pre Show.
Today is Friday, November seventh. I am Billy Rutlig along
with Shannon the Dude. You can give us calling the
Clark's Puppet Shop phone line. That's eight five nine two
eight oh two two eight seven Texas at five O
two two six five sixty six five six. And we
are always brought to you by Italics Fine Italian dining

(00:22):
in Lexington, Kentucky at the City Center on Main Street.
It's a Friday, that means we're on location and today
we're in Lexington at Bespoken Spirits having a little bourbon
this morning. At least I'm gonna wait until after the show.
Shannon the Dudes with me. Good morning, Shannon, what's up?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Good morning? How are you good to be here today?
And Club Blue Bourbon says right here hasn't gone away
and it isn't limited.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
You can get it anytime. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Well, maybe some confusion with what Club Blue was doing
and in JMI taking over a lot of the NIL efforts.
Club Blue has not gone away and bottle sales are
supporting UK NIL services now through JMI, so that blue
and White label. You can come on here and support
the cats that way, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Come on out and they've got great bourbon. We've taken
some of this home before. This is the same company
if you remember that made these bottles that had our
faces on them. Yeah, I remember that.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
They had old Matt Jones and like age forty six
years that was on there. Some really cool personalized labels
that they did for us. So it's good bourbon.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Little ye Old Billy r Sports, I believe, is the
one that they gave me, Shannon. I liked those bottles
so much I bought them for my groomsmen in my
upcoming wall.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Oh wow, that was my groomsman gift.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
I came to Besmoking Spirits got some customized bottles with
photos of us on the actual bottle, and then I
was able to give.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
It to them.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
No, I see there's some samples over there. I need
you to stay over here. Don't go over there and
start sampling just too. That is a lot of samp
that's a lot of san That's okay, it's gonna be
a lot of people here, that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So come on out to Gray Lion Station and hang
out here at Bespoken Spirits before busy weekend. We got
Kentucky basketball tonight, Kentucky versus Florida on Saturday. That's a
big game. Ryan Lemon's gonna be going through a table
at the pregame show.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I don't know why he signed up for that. I mean,
we already did it one time. He didn't get hurt.
He was lucky that he didn't get hurt. I feel
like he's doubling down and it's not a good idea.
Like Cash is bigger now than he was then, you know,
and Ryan, he didn't sell it. That's the other thing too,
When you take a table, you go through a table,
you got us sell it a little bit.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
He popped up like a like a mole out of
the out of the backyard.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Well, Shannon, that was the last time Kentucky won an
SEC home game. I believe was right before, right after
Ryan Lemon went through that table, Kentucky beat Flora.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So maybe we can recreate a little of the match.
And I think it was like a plastic table too.
We gotta get a wooden table.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Well, do we have to throw him through the wooden table?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I want to yes, a plastic table doesn't It doesn't
look good when you go through a plastic table. You
need a wood table. So there's pieces of wood flying everywhere. Yeah,
for the theatrics of.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
It, yeah, or the pillows underneath, kind of like underneath
the mat at obw wrestling.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
There you go again.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah again, he says all that, but yet refuses to
get into the wrestling ring with me.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, that's fine, I'll leave that to you.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Five minutes in the wrestling ring with you, you would never
say that again.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Boy, And I know you were in Louisville though. But Cash,
he's looking bigger, isn't he.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Man, he has been really one of those guys that
came in and picked up the wrestling thing so quickly
and then had a little bit of an injury, had
to step away for a while. But yeah, he's definitely
got a future in wrestling if he wants to.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Well. Kentucky versus Florida on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
We'll talk a little basketball in a bit, but I
think we know Kentucky should win that one. But look,
there's a lot going on Kentucky looking for their fourth
win in five meetings versus Florida. You gotta think Cutter
Bowley has progressed. So a lot of people are optimistic,
but I think the storyline today is probably about the
other quarterback on the roster, and Zach Kalzada. A video
released last night him responding to a guy named Garrett

(03:37):
on Snapchat is going viral for him. Flex at his money, Shannon,
we were talking nil dollars here at Bespoken Spirits. Zach
Calzada got plenty of those nil dollars. He is now
on the bench after an injury, allowing Cutter to become
the starter. But not a good look last night as
Kentucky quarterback going after a random fan showing all his

(03:58):
money on the ground.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Not never a good look when you pull out like
all those hundred dollars bills. We've seen players in the
past do these videos where they're you know, they're showing
off all their money, but especially a guy who was
paid a lot of money to come here to be
her a quarterback and has been on the bench the
entire season.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
So just just not a good look to do that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Is it as bad as a look as an offensive
lineman at the concession stand during the game, Shanny, I
don't know that.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I think going to I think a player in pads,
a helmet and uniform, going to buy a hot dog
at a concession stand at Kroger Field.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I mean that is little league stuff. That is bush league.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
So I think that is by far a worse look
than a guy flexing his money. But still not not
exactly something that fans so I think would want to
see after. Again, a guy that's got all that money
that was paid to come here and hasn't really played,
cain't going.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
After a fan.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I mean, you know, you don't know what these athletes
are commented. You know, there's probably some vile things that
people send them, But this is a Kentucky fan that
he was going after. You've got to be the bigger
person and not do something.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
But again that we're talking about kids that are nineteen
to twenty years old, you know, not even not even
old enough to come in here and have a drink
if the spoken spirits, and they've got all this money
that they're given to be on the football team and
not even necessarily have to play us now.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
But like these are big decisions.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
What is the vetting process like at Kentucky where somebody
that can come in and get that much money, is
it is it almost like desperation. They've got to have
somebody in the transfer portal, and that's why they've pay
that much money to a guy like Calzada. I mean,
I don't know how you repair your reputation after something
like that.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I mean, that's the issue within IL and it always
will be for as long as it exists. You've got
to you got in i OWE money, you got to
give to somebody. And if that somebody comes and maybe
doesn't pan out, doesn't perform the way that you think
that they should or would if they came and was
your starting quarterback. But then in Kalasada, situation gets hurt.
You find out you've got a guy sitting on the
bench that's maybe better, and you got to go with

(05:51):
whoever's the best player for your team, right. You can't
just go, well, we paid this guy more in i
OL money, so we gotta play on because we forked
out all the money for him. If you got a
guy that's on the bench like Kentucky does and cutter
Bowley who's not making that much NIL money but is
the better player than that's who you gotta go, right.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
But like my I guess my question is why wasn't
that decision made in the offseason. Why was it recognized
that Cutter was the guy before they spent all this
nil money on a seventh year quarterback that didn't work
out at four or five others.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
CAUs Cutter was already here and the money is what
we needed to get Klazada to come here.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I know.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
I just said that money could have been used at
some other positions that could have really helped this team.
It's just you can't fork over money because you think
you have to or you think you have to get
a transfer quarterback every year.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
That's the world of NIOL though it is.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
And Kentucky has been in that world a lot, getting
some transfer quarterbacks, some more successful than others, you know,
Steven Johnson, Will Levis, outside of Brock, Vandergriff, Devin Leary,
and now Zach Calzada.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
But not a great look.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I mean, this is this is going pretty viral online
and people are seeing this.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
But it's a big weekend for Kentucky.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
If they were to beat Florida this weekend, they would
beat Auburn and Florida back to baction back on the bandwagon.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yes, because that is called a winning streak, and Kentucky
football having a winning streak gets up to celebrate and
talk about.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Now just because they've learning the concept of a winning
streak again doesn't mean I mean everybody's.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
You gotta get baby steps to get back to where
we were, right Yeah, But if he gets that win
and then you're in the situation to where a bowl
game is, you're you're at least talking about it, You
at least having that conversation if you win that game tomorrow.
Because you go ahead and take the Tennessee Tech game
for granted, you're gonna win that one right now, all
of a sudden you're talking about you beat Loisville or
beat Vandy and you're.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Going to a bowl. Man, it just flips on a dime.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
So tomorrow's game is huge for that for that very reason, and.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
I think the fan base will show up.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
This is a team that Kentucky has had success in
the past, I mean some pivotal wins and a Florida
team this year that doesn't have their head coach right now,
their their quarterback DJ Lagways.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
And playing that great.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
So I mean, it's not that crazy shit, and they've
built some momentum. Florida is not the Florida of years past.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
They're really not.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
I mean that Kentucky's sort of had their number over
the last several years, and it's a game that you know,
you go back to like Joker Phillips era and the
early Mark Stoops years. Florida was that wall we could
not knock down, and now that they have knocked it down,
it feels like Florida is a team you almost expect
to win when you see them on the schedule, especially
when they're playing at home. So it is a very

(08:20):
winnable game. Yeah, but again, it's got to be one
of these grinded out type games. You're not going to
win a game against Florida in the thirties. You got
to have hopefully a really good defensive performance like you
did last week that you don't have to hold them
to three to win. But you know it's gonna be
one of those games where your defense is really gonna
have to step up again.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
What was it something like thirty one straight games Florida
had won before Kentucky broke that streak. Cash Daniel was
a big part of that doing. Was it the stone
Cold celebration with the water bottles is in Gainesville after
they won?

Speaker 2 (08:49):
It was in twenty eighteen, twenty eighteen. I remember that
was when we just opened up the bar, a KS bar,
and I remember where I was that night. I didn't
even get to watch that game live as it was
happening because I was an Owensboro for a wrestling gig
and that was the night that I had the wasn't
a match with them, but I had the the event,
the wrestling event and Owen's Burl with Jerry the King Law.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Okay, so I was.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
I was hanging out with the King the night that
Kentucky broke the streets.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yeah, you were like, forget that game. It'll be thirty
two half the night, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yeah, and then what do you know, Kentucky ends up
winning the game.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
So it was good to hear from Cash yesterday and
you know, and all the things that he's doing now. Shannon,
Hopefully the Cats have a little luck this weekend, not
only with the basketball game tonight but the football game tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Because I got a cat yesterday. You got a cat.
I got a cat? Wow?

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Okay, Now you know I had that stray cat that
showed up last year after that and then just went
away and I never saw it again.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
But you went and you got a cat.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I am adjusting. I've never had a cat before. This
is a this is more a Marissa purchase than it is.
Billy indoor cat. Indoor cat for three months old, and
we have a nine year old Maltese dog. So the
interroduck process was hilarious last night. They're gonna be fighting
like dogs and cats.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
They are, Yeah, they already are.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
My dog was licking her lips last night and I
had to pay a little middleman and a little defense
for the cat. But any suggestions any cat owners out there?
Eight five nine two I two to eighty seven. I
even built a one of these structures. Shnnon you know
what I'm talking about, Like a little scratch and possably ramps. Yeah,
little thing it can lay on. I'm now a cat daddy.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Oh boy, oh, I got so many questions here, so
like do you have to be the one that takes
care of the cat and like change the litter box
and feed the cat?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Or is that a marine?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
I mean it will be, it will become my thing.
I'm sure this is you know, her want her responsibility.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
She's got the litter box.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
So this is again this is again probably something you
didn't necessarily want, but Marissa says she wanted it, and
you caved in and you got a cat for because
Marissa says, we're getting a cat, and you said, Okay,
I'm beta billy, let's go get a cat.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Yeah, Shannon, that's where you're wrong. That's where you're wrong.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Making your wife or significant other happy doesn't make you
a beta Shannon. And while it was not my decision
to get the cat, No, I will love the cat
as much as she does.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
You'll love the cat until it tears up everything in
your house. That's the thing. This thing's got ready.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
It is already scratching at my bathroom door when I
was taking a shower this morning. So, I mean I
could use some advice. Anybody eight five nine two eight
two two weights Have you ever had a cat.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Or just metal dog?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
No, my advice would be don't get the cat. But
it's too late now. It sounds like you've already got
a cat.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Well, cats and dogs in the same house they get along, right,
I'm sure it'll be fine.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I think you got like you're about to have a
war on your hands in your house.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
It's really like the house is already divided.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
The cat's kind of like roped off the second floor
and then the dogs is really the main floor. Now.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
I don't really know a whole lot about cats, but
I have seen cats where you get like this cat
nip stuff and it's basically like like like drugs for
a cat. Yeah, and you give it like the nip
and it goes crazy.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Why is that? What does it do to the cat?
Don't know?

Speaker 1 (11:54):
But we got two toys that have cat nip in
them and added, like the ten toys that she bought
for the cat, the other plays with two of them,
you can guess which one they are, one with the
cat and ip in it.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
But you're right, it's like a drug for these cats.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Like a it's like weed or something, right. I think
it is like marijuana for cat.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
I don't know if it's exactly like chill out and
then stoned like you're you're doing.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
At the time I saw the cat was definitely stoned. Okay, Yeah,
it had red eyes that started eating my doritos. I
was like, what is going on here? It wanted to
go to White Castle. I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Yeah. By the way, when you do go out to
white Castle, round up for the next nice job. A
five nine two two eight seven.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
We'll take a break talk a little bit of up
Kentucky and Valparaiso today, another Kentucky home game, even though
Kentucky needs to win that home game on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Man, it's just been too long. It's been too long, Yeah,
it really has. It's been well, what do we say,
two years two years ago? Yeah, September three. I guess
Florida the last time they did it. So maybe we
can recreate some of that match.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
So what are you more excited about?

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Are you more excited about Kentucky Florida or Kentucky Valpo tonight?

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Well, Valpo tonight there's a chance we see Jalen Low
for the first time, So I mean, I think there
is a lot of excitement to see, you know how
good this Kentucky team can be with him at the
point guard spot.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I won't even ask are you more excited about Kentucky
Florida Kentucky Lobell because we know what the answer is
going to be there. Well, you know you hold on
to that because we've got to talk about the.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Players.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
They're the ones given bulletin board material, not just us.
So we'll take a break, be right, back here bespoken
spirits at Gray Line Station in Lexington.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Here on the ks OUR pre show, Welcome Back. It
is the KOs R pre Show. It's a good song
right there.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
If I had a million dollars bare naked ladies, I
believe right, that's right.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Did you see speaking of a million, that Elon is
about to become the first trillionaire of all time? Jeez,
through through all the stuff that he's got going on?
So can you imagine a trillion dollars?

Speaker 4 (13:53):
No?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
No, I cannot imagine if he was a fan of
the football team too.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
I mean, he's too big of a nerd to care about.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
If he was an alum of like a big ole
miss or LSU or.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Something like that, it would just be the end. Can
we make him a Kentucky football fan? That might be
what we need to fix Kentucky football.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
I thought we had John Legend though, and that didn't
really have.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
John Legend doesn't have any money compared to Elon Musk. Yeah,
nobody does compared to him.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Yeah, he's in a category of his own eight five
nine two eight zero two two eight seven. A lot
of reaction about that Kalzada video, including one person that
says Zach is not a kid. He turns twenty five tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Yeah, when I'll say kids, I'm talking about other videos too.
I don't I don't think I was specifically calling him
a kid, but I'm talking about other videos that we've
seen from college players the dude that have done the
same that he's not the first who have done that.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
A video similar to that. Right.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Also, one person on the text line said the wasted
money on Calzata is proof that Bush Hampden isn't a
great judge of talent. We had a capable quarterback and
Cutter but wanted to go to the transfer portal.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Sometimes it just doesn't work right.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Like you know, there is I think some pressure to
get a veteran quarterback in this era of the transfer.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
I mean this is a guy that hadn't had a
lot of success, was a backup at A and M
for a little bit. But maybe they just weren't exactly
sure how much Cutter would progress. And now hindsight is.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Tell that's the thing, man, I mean, these things you
can divvy out the money however you want. You don't
know how a guy is going to pan out, what
if Klazata came here and just lit it up, right,
you never know, so you know you have that money
has to go somewhere. And of course we can armchair
quarterback at all all day who want to and look
back on it and go, well, see, you shouldn't have
done that. But you know, I hate to give the
Shannon Dawson answer. If it would have worked, you would

(15:32):
have liked it. But it's kind of true. You know,
when you look back at things, there's a lot of
times where NIO does work out for players, but in
this case it didn't.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Uh, and that will be under a microscope, right.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
And when this is all public and you know how
much money the school has to give these players, everybody
is going to be locked in. It's just not a
good look for Kentucky football. Before their game on Saturday,
do want to give a shout out to the UK
women's basketball team. They beat mon Myth one oh four
to forty six. They won by fifty five points. And
why does that sound familiar?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
I believe John Short called yes, John Short.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yesterday called fifty five Biggins. The UK women's basketball team
would beat Monmouth on the nose. Shinn telling what he's won.
What did he What do we give away on the
pre show?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
I don't know. He deserves something, though, Like I mean,
that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Normally John Short calls in and he gives these ridiculous
point spreads, and I you know, I listened to it,
but I don't really write it down because I'm like, Okay, John,
you know, fifty five bigins sure, and then you know
Kentucky comes out last night and nails it right on
the John Short spread.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Really impressive performance from Kenny Brooks and the UK women's
basketball team. I mean, they were up twenty at the
end of the first quarter. They shot fifty eight percent,
first time over one hundred points since twenty seventeen. So man,
the excitement looks valid for this UK women's team this year.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Yeah, I think he's got another great team. He's a
great recruiter. You know, we talked about Kenny Brooks in
the great job that he's done just getting these players
to come here to Kentucky. But the question is going
to be to now I think at the end of
the year, who has less losses the men's team or
the women's team. Okay, all right, you want to go
on record, right now you said how many.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
I said five, and that was and I think that's
pretty low. I think I did six. Yeah for the
men's see.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I just you know, we know about the success the
SEC was last year. It's not gonna be as good
in the men's game. Yeah, the women's game, there's some
juggernauts when it comes to the SEC.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
It's gonna be close. It might be. I think it
might be the women though. I think the women have
a lot. I think the women go less losses than
the men's What do you think.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
I mean, it's I think it's a coin flip, it
really is. I mean, I think it's gonna be that close.
I'll say the men's team has one or two fewer
losses than the women's team. But I think the women's
team again is gonna have a really good season.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
The men play Valpereiso tonight at seven pm. That means
our pregame show will start at four thirty pm at
ks Bar and Grill mentioned Jalen Low likely back, Trent
Noah probably not. We saw him on in the boot
when he was doing the two K scans, which, by
the way, they're not doing a standalone college basketball game
they're adding college teams to the next two K game, right,
which is what we said, Yes, okay, just want to

(18:00):
make sure because I was confused about why they were
doing this.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Yeah, you know, it came down to EA Sports versus
two K, and EA Sports originally wanted to do an
all college basketball video game where they included every D
one school. Then two K come in, came in and
EA Sports said well, it's us or nothing, and then
well the EA went away and it didn't happen. So
now two K is doing this basically like an add
on except for the NBA game where they have like

(18:25):
the biggest brands in college basketball that are a part
of this game. So you can play I guess and
have a player go through and play at Kentucky and
then go to the NBA.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
How cool is that? Man?

Speaker 1 (18:33):
I mean, that is that's something we've been waiting for
for a while. But what's something you're looking for tonight, Shan.
I mean, Kentucky's a thirty point favorite I think in
this game, so I think the win is likely, But
is there something that you're looking for?

Speaker 2 (18:45):
They got to improve the shooting, I think, you know, defensively,
was that was the thing I was worried about really
going into the last game because the Georgetown game, they
just looked terrible and there was a little bit of
that Georgetown hangover going into the game against Nichols the
other night. But just getting some shots to fall, yeah,
you know, getting in an offensive rhythm, and I think
that we're going to see some some corrections because Mark
Pope mentioned that they really just focused on defense and

(19:07):
practice leading up to the first game of the regular season.
So I think you're going to see a big difference
in shooting, maybe not maybe they should back a up.
Maybe not a big difference, but an improvement in offense.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Well, I mean with Trent Noah out, that gives an
opportunity to guys to play that three spot. Maybe a
guy that hasn't hit a lot of threes in Cam Williams. Ye,
you know, Jalen Lowe I think is going to be
the highlight. But Aberdeen was so good when he was
at the point in that second half last week, so
him continuing that is going to be important too. It's
just continuing to build that momentum because you've got a big.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Game on two thirty three and a half points.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Would you touch that on DraftKings that is Kentucky and
Valpo tonight a thirty three and a half point favorite.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Adam, maybe in favor of Valpo. This just seems a
little high, especially this early in the year. Kentucky's offense
isn't clicking yet.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Kentucky was a twenty nine and a half point favorite
over Nichols and we're by twenty seventy seven to fifty
one to twenty six. Yes, yep, so I don't know
that I would touch that tonight. But you know what,
you can do other things on there as well. You
do the over under points and so much more on
DraftKings live betting player props. I'll like to do the
live betting a lot because you got to get a
flow for the game. If you pick those over unders

(20:12):
on points, spread on the points, total points, and then
the game starts off and it's kind of like the other.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Now, Oh, it's torture you're.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Doing from the beginning, you know, So sometimes I'll let
it go, you know, ten minutes into the game, get
a filling for the flow of the game, and then
you can go on there and bet whatever you want.
On DraftKings sportsbook promo code KSR sign up as a

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Shanon, let me ask you a basketball question. Who do
you think is going to be playing more minutes at
the end of the season. Brandon Garret or Andreas Yellovich.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Oh, that's a good question. I'm going to lead Lean Garrison.
I think that he is going to be the guy
that is the one, right.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
So you don't think he's phased out at all. When
Jane Quainton's comes.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Back, I think they're still a while away from Jadan
Quainton's doing anything, but we did get a report he's
doing five on Zero's in practice, so starting to ramp up.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Lita Garrison's still going to be the guy that's going
to get the most minutes. But Yellovich, though we saw
the other night, get quite a few more than what
I was expecting.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
I just I could see a path that he progresses
a lot over the sec who play like he just
gets accustomed to the physicality of the game.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
You know, it's not going to be like Big Z.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
He had his one moment and then I think we
really didn't see a lot from him the rest of
the way. It may be take a little bit to
get Yellovich going and then he becomes the player.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
That they want to see. The Big Z was interesting.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
You know, he came out and if he just played
that one game, you would have thought he was the
greatest college basketball player of all time.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
But then he really struggled after that.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
So you know, you can't say, well, just because Big
Z did that, that's what's going to happen to Yellovich too.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Right, It's unfair to the guy who seems to be
a better player at this point.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
But I'm with you. I think if he.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Would have pulled a shade and sharp and never played
another thing of basketball for Kentucky.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
He could have got drafted.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Maybe the greatest debut ever, at least one of them.
It's in the conversation.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
It was electric, there is no doubt about it. And
we need to take a break. Eight five nine two
oh two two eight seven. It is the show before
the Show live at Bespoken Spirits. Here at the KASO
pre show. Welcome back. It is the KSR pre Show
live on a Friday at Bespoken Spirits, where they've got
bourbon samples for you, some coffee and donuts as well.

(22:31):
Come check it out, and bottle sales are supporting UK
NIL services now through JMI.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
So Shannon, they're doing great things. So tri say, Ryan
and Drew actually helped select the recipe.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah, I think I remember them saying that, So I'm
sure they can talk a little bit more about that
later today.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
The White Label and the Blue Label that both won
gold medals at renowned Spirits competition. So Ryan and Drew
apparently know what they're talking about, it says, So they'll
be here at later today.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
We'll pass it off to KSR about ten am and
Matt will talk about breaking the Padres story.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Shannon I'm sure. Oh, I'm sure we'll hear about people
saw that online.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Yeah, A five nine two eight oh two two eight seven.
A couple odd things before we get back to Kentucky
basketball and the Louisville player that made some comments recently. Shannon,
I got to talk about that in a second. Uh,
I do want to say that, you know, we've learned
about the heist at the Louver over the past few weeks,
and we've also learned that these were pretty much common criminals.

(23:24):
They weren't these advanced Oceans eleven kind of tactics. They
did do some good things like when getting up there
and getting what they needed to get.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
But Shannon, maybe not.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
As expert as we thought. But the Louver has some
blame on their own. The password of their video surveillance
system was louver.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Shannon, Oh wow, they really uh put some thought into that.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
So not hard for those hackers and people to get
into what they needed to do, and the.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Love apparently not hard to get into any part of
that at all, whether it be like physically or through
the Wi Fi or any other part of it.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
So maybe it does make sense that our company makes
us reset our passwords so often shown because sometimes left
to the people, sometimes we pick some stupid passwords.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
I mean, who is in charge of security over there? Really? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Well, you know, they talked about all the changes that
they had made just recently, different like display cases to
be more accessible to people. Sometimes you got to realize
things are are away for a reason and not everything
needs to be fixed or changed.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I'm just impressed that a group of guys could go
in there, smash some windows, you know, go take what
they want, and that's it. And they never found the guys.
I mean they haven't. Don't they found I think one
or two? Well did they did?

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Okay? Well I didn't see that updates.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Because they were stupid and they just tried to leave
out of the major airport out of France.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Okay, So if they found the guys, did they find
the jewels? You know, I'm not sure. I'm not sure
about the jewels or any that update of the story.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
But I mean, how about you cross the border by
train or maybe a little bit in a more secret
way than the major airport.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
They probably the same week of the heights. They probably
thought it's this easy to go in and take the jewels.
Why do I have maybe don't don't overthink it, you know,
maybe jump on a plane and get out of there.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
The Mummy franchise is coming back. Mummy. Do you have
any interest in watching the Mummy? No, wasn't the Rock
and the Mummy? Was the Rock and the Mummy? He was?
He was?

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah, Oh okay, all right, the follow up?

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Yeah, I remember the bald guy in The Mummy.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
I was gonna say it didn't look like the Rock,
but yeah, I mean that's something I can get behind.
I think that's just a little nostalgic for me.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
There are so many of these movie franchises that I've
never seen. I know they exist. I somehow knew in
my mind that the Rock was in the Mummy. But
you've never seen the Mommy never seen the movie. Okay,
I think you guys would agree that's a movie he
should see. He should watch the Mummies.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Are you interested in a Jennifer Lawrence Emma Stone Miss
Piggy movie, Shannon.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
No, I know that you are.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
I mean, I'm in You're like, Jennifer Lawrence is doing
the production of it. Yeah, but we are getting to
the point where everything's getting a movie, right.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Miss Piggy's getting her shot now.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Well, you know, we were doing the uh talk about
the Winnie the Pooh horror movie that came out. I
was scrolling through the other night and and I wasn't
even looking for it, but there was a Piglet spin
off of that.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
There's a Piglet.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Horror movie now that you can watch. Okay, I didn't
click on it. I was tempted to, but yeah, I mean,
I think Hollywood has run out of the ideas. You know,
they keep rebooting things and remaking them, and then they
come up with just stupid ideas like the one you're
talking about.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Well, and then you know the what was it?

Speaker 1 (26:20):
The the copyright on Mickey Mouse had run out, so
people were all using different mickey Mouses to create their
own short films and things like that.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
So it's just a different world. Jennifer Lawrence is gonna
play Miss Piggy.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
I don't know if she's playing here, but nms Stone
and Jennifer Lawrence are a part of the production.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Of this movie about Miss Piggys.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
You have to put on some weight, geez. I mean,
you're gonna have to to be a pig. You got
you can't be a skinny pig.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
I guess method acting is something that actors do.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
And then finally, Rico Dowdell has been lighting the NFL
on fire. He's a running back for the Carolina Panthers.
He got an excessive celebration penalty for doing the key
and peel touchdown celebration.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
Do you know what that is? Ok? And you show him?
I mean so it's like pumping and gyrating with the hips.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Shannon, Yeah, And in the in the bit he does
it three times and the third time it gets a flag.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Every time, so.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
He'll do one, he'll do two and then and then
the ref al way, you're about.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
To do the rock arena there for a minute. Well,
you know it's a hip gyring. I don't want to
go it in front of this crowd here.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
So he does it twice during the NFL game, Rico Daldell,
and he got the flag and so everybody was laughing
about it. Well, Rico didn't really agree with this celebration penalty.
He decided to create a gofund me to let the
people pay for the fine that he got for the
touchdown celebration.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
So now NFL players with all this money are asking
people common people to pay money for his touchdown celebration.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Well, I believe he is matching the amount of the
fine and donating it to a charity. But it is
to become a bit where Carolina fans have raised over
fifteen thousand dollars over a twenty four hour period to
pay for this guy's fine.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
I just hate the role about excessive celebration. I mean,
I think if you score a touchdown, you should be
able to do. I'm not gonna say anything that you want.
I'm not saying you can just pull your pants down.
You remember Randy Moss back back in the Yeah Well
when he did that and Joe Buck was like, that's
a disgusting act.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
It's like, come on, dude.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
I mean, like I didn't like it because it was
against my packers, but like he was overreacting, like it's
so disgusting because he fake mooned everybody.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
I mean, come on. He's talked about how much he
regrets that moment. Uh. I thought it was a fluff.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
I thought it was hilarious. I mean I didn't in
the moment, but I do looking back on it now.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Joe Horn, the receiver for the Saints, pulled out a
cell phone out of the bottom of the the goalpost
one time and act like he was calling somebody.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
I absolutely loved that. Right, that's great, that's not excessive.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Yeah, so yeah, t O with the sharpie. I mean
there's there's people that have had some good celebrations. Chad
Johnson used to river dance every time he would score.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yeah, Like I get maybe not liking the throat slash, okay,
but I mean I even I don't care that much.
I don't think it's that big of a deal. But
some people do. And I understand that. But like the
celebration you're talking about, who cares let him have their moment?

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yeah, the Rico dal Dell one.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Yeah, so I mean it's become a fun moment. But
you're right, Well, maybe we'll see some more fun celebrations,
but it is the no Fun League a lot of times.
Eight five nine two eight h two two eight seven
didn't even mention. Kentucky Volleyball got the win last night too,
So they beat Missouri on three ones, three to one
and will now set up that big matchup versus Tennessee
on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
And that's the game that Craig Skinner when he stood
up on that table at the press conference, he was
calling on all the big Blue nation to get out there,
packed the house, Let's drown out the Tennessee Orange, and
let's have a good, good home environment.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
Yeah, absolutely right.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
You know it's important when you start standing on tables, Shannon,
Let's talk about this Louisville player. Oh yeah, let's talk
about Cason Pryor, who did not play in the Kentucky
game last year. He was out due to an injury.
Louisville had a game recently where they won. I think
it may have been last night. Actually was last night,
okay last night, and caseon Pryor said after the game,
we'll see you guys on Tuesday after a win.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
Beleep them shooting. Well, the filling's mutual. Can we say that?
You know what?

Speaker 2 (30:00):
I know, that's the thing that we need to get
this fan base fired up a little bit. But I
kind of like that, uh, that rivalry again kind of
coming back to where it was before. You know, when
Cali Patino were coaches at UK and U of L.
The rivalry was great. Then Kenny Paint came in and
it was just pathetic. It was missing, Like I kind
of felt bad for them. You know, there was no
rivalry really there at all. But now with Pope and

(30:21):
Kelsey and now this player, uh, with that quote, that's
exactly what we need. And I wouldn't be surprised if
there's a few technical fouls in the first five minutes
of the way.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
I just completely forget the Kenny Paint era at Louisville.
I think lois fans want to well I'm sure they
try to, but yeah, Cal not really well wanting to
beat them that bad at the moment.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
And here's the thing, like, uh, Pat Kelsey and Mark
Pope seemed to like each other so much that I
didn't have so much mutual respect that I don't know
that we would really get back to that cal Patino.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Bitter robbery.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
But the players are the ones who can bring that back,
and I think we needed that right there.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Well, we saw Drew get sucker punched at the TV
game a couple of years ago, so I mean, the
rivalry is there for us, but you're right, I mean
it just doesn't have the same juice with these coaches.
Maybe you know, the Louisville coach saying it's point guard
you and get the little testy at times can maybe
start feeling that fire. I just don't see Mark Pope
getting that like cal look in his eye kind of

(31:22):
Rick Patino.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
But blank them is those are fighting words right there, right,
I mean, I feel like that's gonna inject some venom
into this this roble.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Yeah, no doubt, man. I mean they're gonna see that.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
These Kentucky players, every one of them is gonna see
that today and they're gonna be even more locked in
for that Tuesday game. It is weird though, playing that
game so early.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
It is it is.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
But do you do you like the fact that the
Lovell players said I mean, I don't know that you
like it, but and I don't mean that I like
that he said it, but I kind of like that
it's going to spark some.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
Some I don't know, some some fight. Yeah, like in
this in this rivalry. Yeah, there's no doubt.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
I Mean the best part about the football uku of
all game being the first game of the season was
we had the entire summer to do that, right, we
had the entire summer to say my team's better than yours,
blank them.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
And then on you know.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
The afternoon underdogs there ks are back then and uh,
and then you would see it for the first game
of the year.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Now that's kind of changed with football basketball.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
It's so early in the year that I think both
of these teams are very optimistic for the season and
and we'll see how it plays out. No, Jaden Quainton's
Jalen Lowe hopefully comes back tonight and he's ready for
the game. It's a it's gonna be a much different
Kentucky team Tuesday than it is at the end of
the year.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Though.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
I wonder they're going back to the player there. I
wonder what Pat Kelsey thought about that. He's playing thinking, No,
why did you say that?

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Well, that's definitely if there was going to be a
player that says something on that roster, it was going
to be him.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
He is.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
He is definitely the the loud mouth of it A
five nine two eight h two two eight seven.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Liam, Do we have any calls back there? Nancy's on
the line, No, Nancy.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
Hey, God, Okay, So that U of L player, I
saw that on Facebook. Sorry, typical U of L. You know,
real plans. Okay, So that's great that you was out
to the cat Billy. It was this a rescue or
somebody you knew that had kittens.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Or yeah, it was somebody that had found a group
of kittens. They were looking to give them a new home.
They actually worked at a horse farm, so they were
able to set it up with all the necessary things
that the cat needed before it got adopted.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
So yeah, pretty much, Nancy.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Okay, well good. So one other comment. You know, I
called them the other day because I went ahead and
fit the bullet and got the Disney Plus extra. So
last night I was able to watch the women's basketball
on one device and the volleyball on the other device,
so it was, you know, worked out really well. So
we're trying to get my money worth out of it,
and so YouTube decides that they're going.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
To settle.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
Well, I mean that could be a while.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
It sounds like you were having a good time watching
both games last night, Shannon. It's another computer game tonight.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Yeah, yep, get on your favorite streamers channel and stream away.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
It will be there on YouTube to night.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
I'm sure Ryan will be donating, tryan donating so Sports
Live reaction and it's gonna be there. So you know,
that's why we love him, that's right, Yep. I know
Ryan was gonna be looking for a shout out tonight, Nancy,
anything else before we let you go?

Speaker 5 (34:15):
Yeah, one more comment. I know I've only met Marissa
one time, but I tell her she really looks good.
I know she's lost some weight. She looks good.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Okay, thank you, Nancy. Thanks for the called Nancy. We
appreciate it. Make sure you passed that along.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
I met to keep Nancy away from Marissa. I think
a little bit here, but I appreciate the compliment. If
i've nine two two two eight seven. Let's take a break.
When we come back, we'll wrap things up. We're here
at Bespoken Spirits, here on the case, so appreciate.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
We'll be right back. Welcome back. You like this song,
show it's an interesting song. Toys.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Well, we got liamb back there doing his thing.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Pumps.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
You can drink a little whiskey now, spoke sucker for
an old fashion. But not only that, a smoked old fashion.
Look at the smoke rolling off of it. We got
a marshmallow smoked old fashion from Bespoken Spirits. Man, that's
the thing of beauty, right, Look at that. I mean,
I know I know all of you. I know all
of you who aren't here can't look at that. But

(35:13):
what I'm describing to you is an old fashion with
with a couple of marshmallows on the top. I think
that's the best way you can like mix bourbon and
with an old fashion.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
And then the smoke thing, the whole presentation of I mean,
I've seen that one.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
So I always thought that was a gimmicky thing, but
then you have it and you're like, I can taste
the difference. There is a big difference between an old
fashion and then you add the smoke to it.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
It's really cool.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
I've got like one of those home kits that you
can do, oh yeah, smoker, smoke it at home.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
I think I bought that from my dad one year.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
It's like the wood chips and then you trap the smoke.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
It's a whole production. It's it's really good though. Can't
wait to try this, Yes, well, I'll wait till the
end of the show before we dive into that.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Here at Bespoken Spirits at gray Line Station, come see
us some coffee and doughnuts and some samples of bourbon
as well. The bottle cells all supporting uk N I
L through JMI yesterday Shannon Door Doe or Door Door
Dash stock drop seventeen percent.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Oh, due to low third quarter earnings. I thought you're
gonna blame Ryan Lemon.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
I know he's been door dashing lately, so I thought
maybe he was doing something to make their stock drop.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
And it's not that people aren't door dashing, it's just
they're advancing a lot in like technological advances. So like
the robots that are going to delivery these foods for you,
Well they cost a little money, Shannon, so it's getting
a little.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Exp What do you think, dash, What do you think
the percentages of people who have never door dashed before?
I don't have the answer. I'm just curious, Like, has
anybody here like never door dashed? Anybody never doordashed?

Speaker 3 (36:36):
One?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
There's one, two, three, three, Okay, it's definitely not I'm
one of them.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Two. Yeah, I'll say that because I've never doordashed anything. Oh,
you've never done it. I've never been in.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
The situation to where I was so lazy, to where
I physically could not get myself up go into the
car and driving get it myself.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Well, sometimes you need a screwdriver or some batteries for
a smoke alarm.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Just go ahead and door dash it over.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Uh, we were thinking about getting a door dash for
like groceries, just have that done and then sent to
the house.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Well, now I've seen the thing like they do at Kroger,
where you can have somebody go shopping for you. And
I probably need that because I spend way too much
time at a grocery store just aimlessly wandering around, like, oh,
where's the barbecue sauce? Like I can't find anything, you know,
but like one of those things where you can get
the person to go shopping for you. Then you pull up,
you open up the trunk, and they just put the
groceries in it.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Right, That's what I need to do.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Didn't We talk about people going back to the checkout
aisle though, like instead of using self checkout.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Yeah, yeah, a lot of people are doing that. So
I feel like, you know, we got rid of the checkout.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
You know, you do it yourself. Now you don't even
have to go shopping. They somebody can do it for you.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
It's maybe we need to go back to doing things.
Actually we're gonna end up like the people in Wally
shanaf You.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Well, the thing is, if you live long enough, you
see things in life just come full circle.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
So you know, somebody has this great idea to change
the way we're doing things. Then they go to that
for a while, and then like after a while, you
just come back and you're just doing what you were
doing originally.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
It happens in radio all the time.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Yeah, I've seen so many times in radio we were
doing it the old school way. They were like, oh,
there's a great idea, let's try it this way, and
then you stick around long enough and then a few
years go back, let's.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Do something new. Yeah, it's the old way that you're
doing it before. Exactly.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
We've got a full slate of basketball and football games
this weekend. But tonight Tulane takes on Memphis, and one
of the two coaches in this game, if he's still there,
is going to be the next coach at Arkansas.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
Shannon, do you know who Ryan Silverfield is? No, tell
me about him.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
Well, he's not John Summer, who's coach at Tulane. Silver
Field is going to be the next coach. He signed
a five year deal to be the next coach at Arkansas. Okay,
well I don't know anything about him either. Was the
coach of Memphis and they're playing tonight versus Tulane. Okay,
all right, well I'll keep that busy coaching carousel. Outside
of some of these top names, you've got to go
into some some of these deeper dives right now.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Yeah, and Kentucky may find themselves in that situation next
year as well.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Might be a Will Stein or maybe somebody associated with Kentucky.
But again, I go back to this game tomorrow and
holl And important it is. If you win this game
tomorrow against Florida, you are now. We're now, and we
come back Monday, We're gonna be talking about Kentucky and
can they go to a bowl game?

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Yeah? I mean, it just does change you. It can
change back of the entire season, right the Auburn.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
The Auburn game was huge, but then this one tomorrow,
you win that one, we're having that conversation.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
Well, look, Cash had a lot of praise for Brad
White and that was a game that he needed after
getting up a lot of points. Versus Tennessee could be
another big Brad White game as Kentucky looks for another
victory this weekend. A five nine eight oh two two
eight seven. We've got time for one more call? Who's
up next?

Speaker 3 (39:34):
Liam?

Speaker 2 (39:34):
John Short Oh, our prodigal wants to take a victory
lap for calling the Biggins on the Kentucky Webs game
last night.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
It was says off by pretty biggest taking taking about
fifty five.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
That's right, that's right. He was off three. He was
off by three. Yeah, you said fifty, that's right. I
wasn't gonna correct you, but.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Well, you should have correct me. That was the whole
point of the story. But if he's close enough, he's
close enough.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
And we're gonna win tonight by thirty five Vegas and
we're gonna be Billy gan Zala was tomorrowried about fifteen Biggs.
The only way to play to keep Bill Gansaus is
like close if we could beat him, because we and
he needs to be assistant under Arbie Mayer.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
That's right. They don't even truly have a head coach.
That's right. Billy Nape, you're already gone. So you're saying
they hired him with another.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
Billy, Well, Billy, we all know they hired Billy Gansas.
I need to know is that they have We got
beat Billy gan Zaz tomorrow so they can hire him.
That's what I think you need to do.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Mmm.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
Okay, Well, Sorry, I got the Biggins wrong, John, I
thought you had predicted it exactly.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
That's all right, he got close enough. You know, here's
the thing we learned pretty much. We're gonna have to
start listening to John short spread. He said thirty five
Biggins tonight. He's pretty much close to what DraftKings has
at thirty three and a half. So he's basically right
on with Vegas.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
Getting closer, Yes, closer with these Vegas line John's anything else.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
Yes, we're gonna be Buffalo bout twenty big and Sunday,
and we're going to see Tennessee like we're most reserve.
It the lost one games from reserve, but we won
three to one yesterday.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
Three to one for the volleyball team. John, I guess
this Buffalo. The women's game is that Sunday? John, Yeah, okay,
two o'clock on Sunday now, John keeping us, Uh yeah,
the women's game will be on radio, but you probably
have to catch that on ninety eight five John, during
the uh the crossover season that we have this year.

(41:28):
But we appreciate the call and your predictions as always, John,
that's gonna do it for us. In the KSR pre show,
Thank you to bespoken spirits.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yes and promo cod ks are on DraftKings bet five dollars,
get three hundred dollars in bonus bets, and three months
of NBA League Pass for sharing the dude.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
I'm billy right. Let's just spend the KSR pre show.
We'll talk to you tomorrow
