Seahawks legend Jon Ryan joins the show each and every Friday to rant about whatever's bugging him. This episode was quite a doozy, as Jon went OFF about the prices he had to pay at the concession stand while enjoying Mariners Spring Training! There's no way a "Blue Yummy" should cost THAT MUCH. What's a Blue Yummy? Find out by listening to this clip!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
One two point five kzy. Okay, time for kicking it
with John Ryan, Seahawk's legend, John Ryan. What's on your
mind this week?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Well, you guys know that I'm or you might not know,
but I'm I'm a massive baseball fan. I was a
season ticket holder for the Mariners for eleven years that
I lived there. I'm currently in Phoenix, Arizona, for spring training.
I've been coming here every year for nearly two decades now,
but this year I have a major concern. I was
very excited to go to my first game. I was
there nice and early so i'd get my breakfast beer.

(00:33):
I get up there and order my Blue Yummy eighteen
fifty eighteen fifty plus tip for a blue Yummy.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I have to ask you, what's a blue Yummy?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
That's a bud Life. Oh it was nine to fifty
for a Betty of cotton candy.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
You realize you're an adult. You're not supposed to be
ordering cotton candy. Cotton candy and.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Blue Yummy is a diet that I live off of
all of February and March spring training. Good to know,
So I pay twenty three dollars for a light beer. Okay,
and I know, I know in Seattle, drinking a light
beer is like going to a brothel for a hug.
But I don't judge anyone else about they bring for breakfast.
I don't expect them to judge me. My point of
this is all prices are getting out of control because

(01:11):
we see these guys like Juan Soto and Otani. They're
signing these one hundred million dollar contracts and we love
watching them by they're driving the prices up like crazy.
So I really think that the rest of the league
needs to take a look at what the Mariners are doing,
and that is to sign nobody big free agents not
interested Juan Soto, never heard of her. The joke is
really on these teams like the Dodgers and the Yankees,

(01:33):
because well, they're fans. I spent an eighteen fifty of
beer in October watching playoff baseball in their stadiums us
Mariner fans will be snugged as a bug at home
drinking our cheap beer out of the fridge. So thank you, Manners,
thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
That was kicking it with John Ryan
