Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Lovak and Guz on the voice of the Capitol
Regions Sports fan Fox Sports ninety five, nine and nine eighty.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
I am I'm sitting here in the GT Toys studio,
that's Toys with a Z, and I'm feeling really good
about the Bills, like really good, like the Dolphins gave
the Dolphins probably probably should have.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Won that game. If we're being you know, being perportly honest.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
It's and you start looking at the record and you're like, okay,
to losses, how does that happen?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Back to back, you lost to the Ravens and the
Texans on the road both games. That was a full
power Texans team, which we're not gonna see again this year.
Diggs ain't coming back. That's a Ravens team that fluctuates
how they play. The most consistent team right now, besides
(00:50):
the Chiefs and the Lions would be the Bills.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Right Ooh, did you just show me your hand for
power rankings coming up Tuesday? If we had to do
power rankings right now? Liked go Chiefs, Lyne Bills. They're
probably the third best team in the NFL right now.
And it's hard because Baltimore destroyed them earlier in the season,
and Baltimore might be in that discussion. But Baltimore's lost
to Cleveland, Buffalo's They've lost to Kansas City as well.
(01:13):
But the way Buffalo plays, I would be ready to
say that game would feel a little bit different and
they might not have to play the Ravens. This is
one of the top four teams in the NFL. I
will stick with three, and I was curious, I think
with a lot of Bills fans of what this team
would be with all of the changes. Bills fans think
about the difference you're winning close games. You mentioned it, Lavac,
like Miami put up everything they could in that game.
(01:36):
That's about as good as a fight that Miami had
left with Tua and everybody on defense. That was a
great fight. I thought about this because sometimes I do this,
I wonder, like what are local people thinking about their teams,
because sometimes locally the take you might here might be
different than what you think of the team nationally. Here's
how good things are for the Buffalo Bills in Western
(01:57):
New York. This seriously happened following the victory. The Afterdoon
Guy's out in Buffalo, they had a serious conversation about
this about an hour after they win. Five minute argument
whether or not Sean McDermott should have kicked the field goal,
the one.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
That won the game.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
What is there an argument about he hit a sixty
one yarder they won the game. Well, you know, they
paid him a lot of money and should have determined
to gone for it on fourth down? Was it the
right it went in? They won the game. This is
how good things are for Buffalo Bills. You going to
invite problems. You were inviting problems. You are saying to yourself,
I wonder if that was the right call when we
all saw it was the right call. And they're one
(02:36):
of the top four teams. That's how good it is
in Buffalo. There's not a lot to criticize when you've
got an MVP caliber quarterback, a young running back, young
receivers who have stepped up. The secondary Statistically is not
gonna be great, but they made plays and you're what
five games up on the division now, after the Patriots
Titan game, after the Dolphin victory, it's about as good
(02:57):
as you could have hoped for.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Bills fans enjoy this right now, and it's you.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Gotta but you gotta realize what Bills fan is right, like,
like they have one of the most loyal fan bases.
They you know, we talked to Sean Merriman last week.
They have one of, if not the greatest tailgate party.
They they also have seen things, you know what I mean,
like why.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Why right wide? Left? Why this?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Why do Like I can see where they would be
like did that really happen? Like did we are sixty
sixty one and it went through the middle? Like we
we won on a field goal?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Are you sure? Am I dreaming? I wake up?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Because this is and this is a different Bills team.
Like you when you go back to the to the
Super Bowl teams and I know that they're the butt
of the joke whatever, but when you really look at
the talent that they had for those four teams, they
were flashy, they were over the top. They were big,
like you know, Jim Kelly's out there with big cigar,
(04:00):
hand of his mouth, closing bars, Andre Reid's living the dream,
Bruce Smith, Darryl Talley, like that was that was a
bunch of stars.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
This isn't a bunch of stars. This is one real
big star.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
And Josh Allen and a bunch of littler stars, like
this is not this is not built like that team
was built. And I will tell you that I think
it was probably one of the better moves all year
to go get a Marik Cooper because you drafted Keon Coleman.
You said you're a number one receiver. That's it, you're
number one. And he did. He made some nice catches.
(04:37):
He took a horrible hitting them, but he's not a
number one yet. And they had realized it. They admitted it,
and they addressed it, and they addressed it cheaply. They
went and got a Marik Cooper who had a touchdown
of the very first games back. He didn't play this week,
but like, that was a good move. That was a
smart move. Brandon Bean and Sean McDermott, whether you liked
(04:58):
them or you don't like them, they don't overreact. They
stay the course, but they adapt when they need to.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
And that is the jealousy I feel as.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
A Raiders fan, who I don't know who my offensive
staff is this week, Like, come on, man, like it's
the Bills are onto something. If they can just stay
the course all year and then get past Kansas City
in the end, why couldn't they be in the Super Bowl?
Why couldn't you know this be their year? I don't
(05:32):
see you know what you just said. Who do I
see ahead of them? Right now? Kansas City is undefeated,
but they could definitely beat Kansas City. Baltimore did beat you,
but Baltimore is up and down. They ebb and flow.
You could take them down. And if it's the Lions,
well that means you're in the super Bowl. So here
we go, like I as the AFC goes, right now,
(05:53):
they're at worst the third best team.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Let's play the sound for divisional winners. Okay.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
So let's say the Chiefs win the West. Okay, let's
say Baltimore wins the North. Let's say Buffalo wins the East,
and we'll just go with Houston wins the seventh. Okay,
So now we've got you know, your opening wildcard draw
is not gonna be one of those three teams just
because of how the brackets are set up. You're in
the mix for the one seed. But for the sake
of this conversation, we'll give Kansas City the one seed. Okay,
(06:21):
So here the two seed going into the postseason, which
I believe you were last season as well. You're gonna
draw the lowest rank qualifying team in the postseason, so
you're looking at either maybe the Chargers, maybe the Colts,
maybe the Broncos, whoever it is. You're gonna feel confident
going into that game at home that you're gonna win.
And then you're either going to avoid the Chiefs until
(06:43):
the conference title game because of the seeding purposes, and
Baltimore will face off against maybe a divisional team. Baltimore
might draw Pittsburgh or Cincinnati. The bracket could be in
favor of Buffalo more this season than ever before in
this run.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
With Sean McDermott, I don't like what you just.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Said, Oh okay, because you just described the Yankees and
that didn't work out.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
They got to the title game.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
When you've won twenty seven, that's good to go, you
know what I mean. Like, it's now that I'm over it.
I'm over it. I'm more worried about what else they're
gonna do and how they're gonna rebuild this team and
who's coming back and who's not and whatever. But like,
if you're the Bills, if you're the Bills, if you're
the Mafia, when you get there again. You gotta win.
You got it, because right now that shuts that joke down.
(07:34):
The four Falls of Buffalo, the only team to ever
get there four times in a row and never win. Bob, Bob,
all those things. You win one, people can say that
to you. Yeah we won this year. No, you lost sport.
He's the only team that will lose four in a row. Yeah,
made only team to make for in a row two.
But hey, peace out, we won.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
We're good.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Where they lose, it's same old Bills. At least I
know I know who to bet against the next three,
you know what I mean? Like, it's they got they need.
If there's a fan base that needs the championship win
more than the Bills, it's a tough one to figure out.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
You'd also be seeking out a problem Bills fans. I
don't disagree with that that there's the most curse franchise
in pro sport, the most passion all that stuff. I
would love, truly love to see the Bills mafi New Orleans.
If you and I are covering the Super Bowl New
Orleans and the Bills Mafia's invading or Lions fans are
there or fan bases of a team who hasn't gone
before or ever been, or been a long time. That
(08:29):
makes the city much more fun leading.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Up to it.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
To have the Bills Mafia New Orleans would be a
wild time. I thought Vegas is going to be the
year New Orleans can find some places for the Bills
Mafia to have fun. Do not complain about your draw.
It does not diminish what it could be for your
road to the Super Bowl. You and I had the
discussion about the Yankees. Do you want the easiest road,
do you want to be tested? Do you want to
answer your critics? That's preference. I would like the easiest road.
(08:53):
I would like to have my team benefit in the
most ways in which to make that path easier. Like
I'll just use the Buccaneers most recently, right like when
Tampa won with Brady, their draw was they got a
divisional winner in Washington who had a below five hundred record.
They then flipped around in the next round and played
New Orleans, who they lost to twice during the season,
and they beat them the third time. And then they
(09:15):
drew Green Bay in the title game for the NFC,
who they'd beat by twenty plus points in the regular season.
They flipped around and did it again, so it worked
in their favorite Yankee fans know what the draw was
most recently for the Yankees. You can't change the bracket,
just like you can't change the schedule. You play who's
in front of you. If these are the things Bill's
fans are complaining about in November, that whether or not
it was a bad decision to kick a game winning
(09:36):
field goal if that went in, or how good or
how bad your draw could be in the postseason, life
is great. They were not talking about firing coaches. Mcdermot's
got eighty wins. Now, you're not talking about getting a
new quarterback in the draft. These are champagne problems Bill's
fans are having here at the first weekend in November.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
I want, more than anything right now this year's Super
Bowl to feature the Buffalo Bills and the only other
team to be owing four in the Super Bowl, the
Minnesota Vikings.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Oh how much? How great was that?
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Like, you know you're coming out of it with one
of the four teams no longer being owned four.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
I watched a lot of that game. I thought I
was gonna fall asleep. I was proud of myself, right,
I thought I was going down. Indy's defense is very good,
and I know that the headlines have been And there
was a part in that game where I thought, actually
the crew was too hard on Anthony richards And if
you go back and watch that late second quarter, the
game was very boring. But NBC was like, did we
tell you about Anthony Richardson. Here's his stats, here's his graphic,
(10:41):
here's him on the sidelines.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Is he really game? Right up? Unough, we get it,
he stinks enough.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
But their defense is good and Darnold, for about the
fifth sixth time this season, I shrugged my shoulders and
I'm like, these are phenomenal throws. He's got an all
pro receiver. Minnesota's proven me wrong. Week after a week.
They're making all the plays they need to. It's a
possibility of Minnesota is in the super Bowl. There absolutely is.
That is a I know you wagered on Bill's rams
another future ticket.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I'll look it up. I'll look it up. That's like,
what is that the exactive wheel? Bill's over? Bill's over?
I want to like, I wonder what it is.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
But if it's not for those two interceptions, and and
you said it, Cole Stephen's very good.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
All right, let me ask you.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I know I in the in the kickstarter I brought
Darnold is he is he legit QB one?
Speaker 3 (11:31):
But like.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
With with the throws he can make, you know, the
game winning touchdown, like he slinked at things on arms.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
It was a beautiful catch, but.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Like, not everybody can even make that that throw? Is
is he gunslinger enough? Where I it's three Yeah, sure
it's two interceptions, but it's three touchdowns.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
It's okay.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
I'm gonna go back to something we also talked about
in the three o'clock hour about the Giants, where I
looked at that Giant loss and I was like, this
is a team two years ago that beat Minnesota, and
Minnesota was fantastic in the regular season, But what happened
post that playoff appearance. Minnesota's got a new quarterback, new
head coach, a few a new running back. They made
a lot of changes from a playoff team that was
(12:10):
one of the best teams in the regular season two
years ago. The Giants didn't same coach, same quarterback, new
running back.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
That did im prove it that spot.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
So can Darnold make the plays and be the player
you can rely on in the postseason. I have seen
no signs so far through twenty twenty four that I
would even consider making any changes, so I'll lean towards Yes.
That's how good Minnesota is. They're a balanced team, Aaron
Jones out of the backfield.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
They're awesome.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
And you talk about a fan base, and I was
giving the bills of Mafia love and you talked about
like that school stuff before the game, if you like,
we're East Coasters. I don't know how often people are
in the Capitol region are watching viaking games. That might
be on my list of a game to go to,
because that is one hundred thousand people. It seems like
doing the school stuff, that's a pretty sweet environment. I
got thrown out of that stadium, so maybe I'm ali.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
I just all right, like this Baker's not playing next year?
Speaker 2 (13:01):
You want Sam Donald, No Dale Jones, Sam Donald, Oh,
Sam Donald, Harpy whoever the hell is lining up in
Vegas or Sam Donald, Sam Donald. I'm you know, I'm
afraid I think Sam Donald's gonna come the next Teddy Bridgewater,
the Bridge quarterback. Everybody's like, all right, you gotta have
him for that one year till your rookie's ready to go,
(13:22):
but in Minnesot's probably.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Gona look him for a little while.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I would think, because Jagy McCarthy as he's not doing anything,
he's too hurt.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
That's an issue.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
That's that's again just like the bills. It's a great
problem to have if you have to approach that with
two really good quarterbacks. You know what you probably do
with your Minnesota You probably h franchise Tag Donald and
then hope another teams so aggressive with an offer you
send them off.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
I like that good, good call, That one good call,
all right? How else would you go about elevating your
your game of brand?
Speaker 4 (13:54):

shaker graduate, help us preview little Syracuse, a little Siena
in More.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
All right, get after it. That's an actually here. Fox
Sports Radio nine.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Eighty slovakan guys on the voice of the Capitol Region
sports fan Fox Sports ninety five to nine and nine eighty.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Welvack. You know I'm thrilled.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Elevation ten thousand, phone line elevation, your brands elevation ten thousand.
Syracuse basketball is back right here. Fox Sports ninety five,
nine and nine eighty and our sister station WGY seasons
getting underway and shake your high school's on Levaka Little
Capitol Region connection. You can hear him on the three
one five with Brian Higgins out in Syracuse Q Sports
talking more. Brian Higgins joins us first of all, welcome
(15:36):
back to the Capitol Region. Although it is via the airways,
we are happy to have a five to one eight
er talking some Syracuse hoops with us.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
Yeah, far too fast, closing on I hate this mats here.
I guess it would be my twenty fifth reunion if that,
if that's still a thing, comes up to the in
the spring. So great. Great to be back with you
guys in the Capitol region of the five one eight.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Brian, we appreciate you and listen to obviously like you know,
close to this. I I like Syracuse, but I don't
live for it the way some people do. If God
sees the number four next to the number four in places,
he'll separate them. And now he's throwing an absolute I
feel like he's toning it down for most people.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
But is it okay that.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Gus is uncomfortable with Eddie Lampkin having forty four on
his jersey?
Speaker 5 (16:18):
Uh? You know that was a thing we did that in.
I guess that came out in when juneish and people
decided they were going to be up in arms about it,
and Derek Coleman kind of led the way on it,
which didn't help matters. Going back to when he wore
forty four and John Wallace for forty four. I, you know,
(16:38):
I don't have a problem with it. I say, like,
why not hand it out to people?
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Why?
Speaker 5 (16:44):
Well, what I said at the time, and I'll say
this now is if DC's complaining about it, we haven't
really heard John Wallace say anything about it. DC and
Wallace are going to get so much airtime this season
on all the TV games from people talking about it
that it's almost like their careers are both going to
be brought back to life. So I think they'll realize
the net positives before before all said and done for
their legacies because we're going to watch every highlight of
(17:06):
their career on every TV broadcast this season.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
I'm sure Brian could do another three hours on the
legacy of forty four. I will leave like Pat and
Syracuse and Drowing plays dude, the legendary callers you deal
with on a daily to yell and scream with.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
You about forty four. But I would yell and scream
at you about forty four. But I want to do
that today. He is a guest on the show. He
is a guest on the show.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
Let's talk about Donny Freeman. Donny Freeman, the highest rated
recruit since Carmelo Anthony.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
What are realistic expectations for him this season?
Speaker 5 (17:35):
I'd say realistic. Is he Mellow? No? Why because nobody's
that like that was That's a once in a lifetime
for the most part situation. But I'll say this, you
see him at the exhibition games. I mean, the dude
is huge, Like he's he's legitimately six ten, six eleven.
He's a big dude. A very modern game, Like he
can get you inside, he can get you outside, he
(17:57):
can put the ball on the deck, he can d
up a little. I'll be very intrigued to see where
his season goes, because you know, when Mellow was here,
it was like game one of the year. It was like,
holy crap, Look at this guy and that that never happens.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
So is it that?
Speaker 5 (18:13):
No, But I think he's got a chance to be
legit really good mock drafts first round guy at least,
you know, early projections before he's actually played. But I'll
be really intrigued to see, like, if he can become
one of the top two three best players on the
team this season, I think that really elevates the ceiling
of what this team can do this year.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Brian basketball is more fun when QS is in it
and they have a road to the tournament, and my
life is more fun because Godz doesn't cry as much.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Is there is this team good enough to be in
the dance?
Speaker 5 (18:46):
Uh? Yeah, I think so. I think so, But I
think we've also seen the last few years. It's a
lot harder to be certain about that as we get
going here tonight with Lemoyne and then we'll see where
it goes in the next few weeks and months. But yeah,
and I think it's so confusing because there's so little
(19:09):
there from last year's team, and it's just the way
the way of the world in college hoops and college sports.
Right now, you have all these four to fifty year
guys coming from lower level programs that all had great
stats and success and careers at their place. They all
looked reasonably the part in the exhibition games that's against
D two teams. Will they look the part in the
(19:31):
ACC games? I think they can, but it's hard to
say that for sure until we see it. I think
also last year, like the chemistry of last year's teams
and the behind the scenes stuff, there was a lot
going on, and just listen to the red talk at
some of these press conferences had so far, I think
the behind the scenes whatever this year will be in
(19:51):
a lot better place. So whatever the talent level is
versus the last couple of years, I think this year's
team may just have a less bumpy ride through the season.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Whether it's the transfer portal, whether it's guys reclassifying, it
just feels like college basketball is becoming a tougher sport
to follow, and over the course of the next few
weeks and maybe in the next few months, Syracuse basketball
fans are going to be introduced to names they hadn't
known a month or two ago. What names is going
to be one of those that right now in the preseason,
as we prep for the year that maybe's not familiar
(20:22):
with Orange fans, but in about a month or two,
be like, Okay, this guy could be a standown player
for the team.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
I think you mentioned two of them, Like Lampkin's going
to be the starting center. We're assuming that Freeman will
be the starting four, though they've been playing around with
starting lineups in the exhibition games, so we don't know
that one hundred percent, but he either way is going
to play a lot. Like a name to watch out
for is Juda Mensac here in the last couple of years,
and man, he was a ball dominant, high scoring point guard.
(20:50):
The guy they brought in out of the portal out
of Hallstra is Ja Kawan Carlos. Not a huge dude,
pass first point guard, really different kind of player, but
he's going to be the starting point guard in Syracuse
and the range haven't had a you know, a table
setting point guard like him in a while. Like is
he a star, No, but I think he's a guy
(21:11):
that you know, he can grease the wheels of a
successful offense, the Epeski defender and just by the nature
of the position, he's gonna have the ball in his
hands a lot. So I think that is name one,
you know, aside from the obvious of Lancoin and Freeman.
Then we got to put eyes on from the new
guys this season.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Fox Sports Radio ninety five, nine and nine eighty. Brian
Higgins with us right now. And Brian, you know, obviously
Jerry McNamara was, you know, big name in QS hoops,
big big name in all of hoops. We've now stole him.
We've moved him back to where you came from. We
got him in Latham here in Siena. Is he gonna
be missed in recruiting? And you know, if so, how
(21:48):
how much of a boon can he be for us?
Speaker 5 (21:51):
He actually moved in in the street next to my parents,
so I got the like I got the scout on
his yard. I mean, we got the whole thing going
going out. He had to find the five begsroom one
to get all his kids in there. But that like,
he makes the best. Like if you don't like Jerry,
like I don't, I don't know what the deal is
with you, Like something's wrong with you If you don't
like Jerry, He's he's great talking to he's a great
(22:11):
basketball mind. Yeah, he'll definitely be missed around here and
there's still people around here that thought he should have
gotten the job over Red, you know whatever with that.
You know, Rand I think was the guy. He was
the right guy at the time. Though we love Jerry
around here, I don't see any reason he doesn't do
a fantastic job at Sienna. I mean, you guys know that,
(22:34):
like Sianna, as far as job's in the MAC, like
the ceilings Sianna has is higher than anybody else in
the league, Like when they're cooking, it's great. I think
Jerry will have a shot to hit that as long
as he gets some players in there. And from the
sound of it, he did that this year. But yeah,
I think you guys are really really going to enjoy him.
And you know, the hope for him is, you know,
(22:54):
he kills it there. He does what some of the
guys did there before him. Fan McCaffrey going back, Louis
or a going back like, hopefully he kills it and
the ghost gets the major job in four or five
years and gives you a lot of a lot of
great moments along the way.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Right, I don't care what Gouz offers. You do not
tell him where your parents live, because he's already. He
took forever to get Jerry on the show because the
first thing, Guy says he wanted to smell him.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Well, little heck up, that was sort of taken out. Look,
I'm a kid from Central New York. I'm a salve
a guy. That was my guy, sort I have g
mac here like you get it, Brian, Like.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I already already see him going, Hey, Brian, I want
to send a gift, basking to thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
I'll just your parents house. What's what's yeah?
Speaker 5 (23:34):
Yeah, well, oh man, I'm forgetting. I'm forgetting my parents
address all of a sudden. Where where is their heads?
Jerry does? I mean Jerry smells fantastic. I mean you
shouldn't get up as close. He's a he's a great guy.
You gotta you gotta meet him in person. He's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
We met him.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
We met him in August at Saratoga. He came by
for an interview for whatever reason. Since he hasn't been
back on the show, I think he did like us.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
But I think he'll be back on eventually. Coach. Yeah,
he'll be back.
Speaker 5 (23:58):
I think.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
I hope.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Uh, thank you for the time. I know you're super busy.
Prepping for the season and everything the next time. See
here's my goal before we let you go, Levac. My
friend has never gone to a Syracuse gang. He's never
gone to the Carrier Dome slash Jammy Wireless Doom. Here's
the one thing I've warned people from the campital to
reach who have not gone to the dome. There is
a lot of walking involved. It is not the most
convenient place. Great renovations, it's awesome now, but can you
(24:23):
at least warn him that there's a little bit of
a hike to get from the tailgate to the dome.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Yeah, I mean it's you're not gonna roll out of
your car and be in the building in two minutes,
but it's worth it. Yeah. The parking lot unless you
get a hookup on a parking pass, Yeah, you're gonna
There's probably gonna be a bus ride or something in
the middle. But you can check out all the campus
has to offer on you on you on your way through.
That for a good a good pr answer of the
lot being not right next to the building.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
You you listen to me.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
McNamara either not get a parking pass or Gods gets
Brian's parents to dress and then he's only five streets away.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
Yeah, I said that. You guys, the butter up Jerry, Like,
I'll be able to hook you up better than any
of the rest of us will get getting good with Jerry,
He'll get you'll get you guys like second row or something.
What do you want to go?
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Thank you for the time.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
We appreciate you doing this. Keep up all the great
work in the three, one, five and all the great
things you're doing. Man, looking forward to an awesome season.
And uh, I'm sure we'll hear your voice here in
the cap region a lot more. You'll answer our calls.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
Just back spot. I've got a lot of things I
need out of him. I need an address, I need
to answer my calls. I got a lot of stuff
tell you answer.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
Yeah, well, we'll see as long as you're not stalking
my parents house, so you should be able to pull
it off, all right.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
That's I just I just love that, like you can hear,
you can hear in the voice, like the people who
like really live, like the the Syracuse life and all
that stuff, Like they're like, guys, you might be taking
that a little too far, but not too far, like
like they they understand why you want to smell Mac
g Mac. They understand understand why you can't see two
fours next to each other without freaking out.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
They understand it all.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
We've talked about potentially having a therapist to like walk
us through. Brian Higgins has just become doctor Brian Higgins
where he's gonna lay me down in the vaccine to
be there is my support and be like, all right,
tell us why you don't want teenagers wearing forty four
again the legacy.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
He didn't even ask. Don't you know this kid came?
All right, calm down, all right, all right, put down
the phone. Guys, it's not that you've.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Turned into Frank the Tank from barstool. You start chewing
on stuff, breaking your glasses? Is that how your glasses
really broke? As you found out lampkill's wearing forty four?
Speaker 4 (26:31):
What do you mean Donnie Freeman can't lead him to
a title. He's the best recruits and smell.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Of all right, Okay, he's eighteen, he's wearing number one
back retired too.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
All right, here's here's I'm gonna give you one of
the bigger challenges I think you've ever had. Eight realistic
expectations for your Syracuse Orange.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Get back to the tournament.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
The ACC overalls a conference has been beating him up
over the last ten years since Syracuse fans so like
the best the truth of it, Since Syracuse joined the INGCC,
they haven't been the same type of program when they
were in the Big East and having final four runs
twenty sixteen, they got there. That was the controversial season,
if you remember, a lot of people thought they shouldn't
have got in. They made the run, they upset Virginia.
So back to the tournament is now the bar. That's
(27:14):
probably also aggravating to fans because it's like, what do
you mean that's.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
The bar now?
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Used to be final fours in conference? Get back, get
back to the dance. I agree with Brian say about
Donnie Freeman, like he could be a top twenty pick
in the draft. Lampkin's a mix and this is a
high compliment, but I think it's the one that people
can understand. Lampkin is a mix between Julius Randall and
Kevin Love. He's a really good passing big man who's
a big body who could make plays. So those are
(27:39):
high expectations. Back to the tournament is the goal for
Syracuse basketball this season.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
All right, Okay, so wait a minute. See what you're
telling me, is that realistically speaking, as long as they're there,
you know, one of sixty four whatever the hell it
is by the time this comes around, was it seventy
thousand teams? Each one plays and then it plays. If
they're one of don't do the sixty eight because doesn't
play it. If they're one of the legit like sixty
(28:07):
four teams, but they lose in the first round, you're
gonna be okay.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
I will be okay because right now the stretches. This
is the longest Syracuse basketball is gone without ever being
in the NCAA Tournament. So I need some March badness
action in my life again.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
All right? So what about you? Already?
Speaker 2 (28:24):
You?
Speaker 4 (28:24):
Albany is harder to figure out because we always do
the one big thing, and that's what their conference has
always been, traditionally having a winning record.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Oh God, is that it is?
Speaker 5 (28:36):
That?
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Am I being too polite here on a Monday? But sera, like,
that's what I'm thinking about. If you have a winning
record for you, Albany.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
I know this is the guy that filled in for
Will Brown, like he it's a new era of you
Already Basketball, Dwayne Killings or killings Lee as I used
to joke around and say that name unintentionally. You Already
Basketball's expectation this season is too having winning record. Here
are the last Oh gosh, I don't even want to
(29:03):
do that. That's both two thousand and seventeen, two thousand
and eight t in the back is the last time
you Already Basketball had a winning record. It's been seven years.
So winning record is the goal for the great days
that If they don't have a winning record this season,
I'm curious what the future looks like for you Albany's
basketball coach going forward?
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Who's that with our big headed boss? Who's getting new?
Is that would be Danielle. Danielle's going for going for
the ride.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Yeah, she had a little late evening meeting, a little
five thirty meeting going on.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
I don't know where they're off. Is that why he
didn't want to meet me today? He messaged me over
with the week.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
He messed me in early Sundays like we need to meet,
and then he went, hey, let's meet tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
That's there's money out there, is what we're talking about.
Or either they're going on a meeting, or they do
live I believe two blocks away.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Carpool they could be carpooling back makes listen good for
the environment right there?
Speaker 3 (29:55):
I like that, would you want to sit in? Would
you want a carpool with your boss? An hour and
a half? Because they both from Soccerty's. There's that forty
five minutes on which one of my bosses, rob uh
just meta me. I don't learn a lot I have,
like I have you forget like I have three jobs.
So like if you're talking.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
About belfour property restoration, me and Mike Quarta, we've done
that like many times and it actually usually ends up
pretty being being pretty in terms of one of those
things where it's like am I just feeling the silence now?
Or do we do we still want to talk? Or
can we just sit here and be and be quiet
for like thirty minutes and then we're quiet?
Speaker 3 (30:30):
It's cool.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Andy Gallacher, Richie Sesna, Mike Quorda from the Firebirds. That
sounds like a party waiting to happen. I don't know
well enough yet to know if I could do because
what is that an hour?
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Yeah? About that's an hour with him? It's a lot
I'll do it once. I'll do it once. I'll do one.
I'll do one. That's it though, all Right, I.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Know I said this in the top four to four
tease it a little bit Sienna basketball fan of you
already Syracuse Sienna, your expectations are the most unrealistic. And
I don't people like outside of the Capitol.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
Region if I don't even know if I want your
opinion of Syracuse like there's no let's see well because
it is it's Syracuse light right now because Jerry McNamara, Like,
can you be realistic about Sienna right now? With your
love of Jerry McNamara, Yeah, I think so. All right,
what do you what do you think is realistic for Sienna?
And then what do you think is going to the
(31:21):
What do you think they're gonna be held to?
Speaker 5 (31:22):
You?
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Can they can they actually achieve what people expect from
them this year?
Speaker 4 (31:25):
A top four regular season finish in the MAC. A
top four regular season finishing the MAC because coach karm
the predecessor to Jerry McNamara, won a regular season conference championship.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
If you go back to the COVID.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
Year, they could have won the MAC that season they
got upset a few times in Atlantic City, Patino was
still there with Iona. Iona was going on their run.
But it is almost unfair to think Jerry mcnamare, who
is never as a head coach coach the college basketball
game before, is going to walk in here and win
the tournament, the MAC Championship in year one.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
Could it happen?
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Absolutely like coach Karl Moments did it. But I would say,
if you get a top four finish in the MAC,
then you let the cards play out in the MAC
Tournament come Atlantic City in March. That's a realistic a
winning record, a winning conference record, and a top four
seat in the MAC, because then you get to the
Atlantic City draw and see what happens.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
That's realistic.
Speaker 4 (32:20):
Not win it at all, not going to the tournament,
figure out recruiting for the next year. Top four finishing
the conference. Will that be enough for the fan base? No,
of course no, I mean really, but in the history
like okay, so we've talked to Jimmy, Patzos, Jamie and
Christian coach Karen and now Jerry McNamara, I would say no.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
No, I'll stick by this. Take this.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Since I moved to the Capitol region in the last
ten years, is the highest expectations for a Siena since
I've been here. The closest one is that Jimmy Patso's
team from about eight or nine years ago, and that
had five seniors and a bunch of thousand points scores
where everyone thought they'd destroy everybody in the MAC and
they didn't get close.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
I know they were one shot away.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
The post COVID Karm team had lost the expectations too, though.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Jalen pickets, that's odd.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
Like I would say that the expectations have never been
higher because of the hype around McNamar.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Karme was always good at bringing in at least one
big name. Does that mean Jerry's gonna bring in two? Like?
Because the other thing, like you think about it as
much as people want to like act like Karm never
you know, you didn't get it done.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
The biggest name, the biggest fish in the pond that
you could fish in for the MAC was he would
bring that person in.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
He would find them, and he would get them.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
I know what you mean by that comment, but I
want to clarify something because the world has changed a
little bit.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
By big name, you mean, hey, this was an.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Impactful or hyped up recruit who hit the portal in
his joint.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Because that was you were up against a lot of
bigger fish to bring that one into the boat, and
he got him in the boat.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
And it could be a Capital Region kid, it could
be a Syracuse kid, it could be Rochester, it could
be Poughkeepsie. I think there's something interesting about it being
a New York recruit who you feel like can have
an impact. So yeah, I think the recruiting of Jerry
mcdamara and what the class will look like next year
and getting his players in there. And I know he's
already brought in a bunch like Peter Carries six ' ten,
(34:11):
he played at Syracuse, he played under macnamara. He's one
of the guys could be maybe the impact player for Siena.
There's a bunch going on, but that's realistic. Sienna Fan,
I have a feeling in the vac I will stick
by this. I have a feeling our phones, our social media,
our emails will be more loud about Jerry McNamara and
that team this year than we've ever experienced in the
(34:31):
history of the show. Now, maybe that's because we worked
on a station before that aired The Rival. Maybe it's
because people know about my love is Bran Higgins just
learned sniffing coach Mac. Maybe that's why nif boy, there's
a combination of local and Syracuse. I have a feeling
we're gonna give Sienna more. We're gonna hear from Sienna
fans more than ever before this year.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
All right, I listen. I'm I like anything gets it going,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Like, I like anything that gets it moving, moves the needle,
gets us in the right direction, amps up the power,
gets the energy going.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
So I love C four guys, Oh yeah, I love
C four.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
I I have the fridge stacked with C four now
and just wake up on a Monday morning and open
the fridge up and be like, which one am I
getting after today? Look at this? There's so many great flavors.
What type of mood am I in right now? I
know I need some energy?
Speaker 3 (35:17):
You don't Hawaiian punch? Left?
Speaker 2 (35:19):
I have three Hawaiian punch might I might be willing
to do like a five to three trade. That's my favorite? Okay,
that's my favorite. Now, uh, I'll consider that deal. I
also like the Hawaiian I'll.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
Go, I'll go, I'll go. I'll go to Speedway or
an Independent Mobile station get my damnself. I don't need you.
Speaker 4 (35:34):
It gives you the boost that you need throughout the day,
helps you figure out that new schedule, daylight saving time.
Are you still recovering? C four can help you get
you that boot that need. No winners this week in
the challenge, we both were so close. Darn you Green
Bay Packers. If the Packers had won, we would have
had three cases this week. Me, you and Quinn would
have hal cashed. It didn't happen.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Yeah, you know what, I uh, I learned something, though,
I did learn something. Jared Gos's little hands aren't that
bad when you make the right place for him. That's
It's Lion's team solid, almost as solid as C four,
which you can get at Speedway and Independent Mobile Station's
coming up next.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
It's the Dump.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
There's a couple of a couple of stories that have
worked their way down the line, and we will cover
them next right here on Fox Sports Radio ninety five,
nine and nine eighty.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
It's love Akin Guz on the Voice of the Capitol
Regions Sports Fan Fox Sports ninety five, nine and nine eighty.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Oh yeah, wait a minute, where do you. I know
you said this, but where is your super parlay at
right now?
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Ooh, my super parlay right now is only offering twelve
percent of the total path.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
So what what is I don't nine? Okay, not not
a sneeze at, No, not a sneeze at How about
do you see this guy? There's a better out there
who has a parlay in that all this It was
a fifty dollars ticket. The better's name is not out there,
(37:05):
and it, if it hits, it's gonna pay one million,
seventy three dollars and ninety three cents. He has already
got U com men's basketball win of the National Championship,
Celtics win the NBA Finals, Florida Panthers win the Stanley Cup,
Dodgers win the World Series. He has one leg left
and if his leg hits, he gets a million dollars
(37:25):
off of fifty bucks. The Jets have to win the
Super Bowl. The Jets have to win the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
All right, I won't.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
We'll supe it's DraftKings, but I'll just okay, whoever it is.
Let's say, let's say you and I are behind the
scenes this time. You and I are working for DraftKings
have potentially giving this kind of cash out.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah, you know what my number would be for him
right now? Fifty three dollars. Fifty three dollars.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Actually, you know what, No, no, no, forty seven dollars.
I want the three bucks. I want three bucks from you, buddy,
because yeah, you're not you're not.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
They're not. It's not it.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
I was gonna say zero, But that's a lot funnier,
didn't you know better to bet the Jets?
Speaker 2 (38:10):
Fine?
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Now, eight dollars for Aaron Rodgers, that's what it is.
Just eight.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Well, because it's not you know, there's there's almost no
chance the Jets are gonna win out, let alone win.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
The super Bowl. But what like if the Jets do,
like how many games do the Jets have to win
in a row? Right now? Before you actually made him
an offer? Eight, that's eleven in of gosh, it might
be too high. Well, then that's the end of the
season too. I think you're there three.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
You would know why they're not there in the playoffs
at that point. And if they're not, like so, so,
what you're saying is if they make the playoffs, I'll.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Make you an offer.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Yeah, yep, anything short of the playoffs. I'm not making
an offer. No, even if they want like five straight
games right now, I wouldn't do it. All right, I
think you're right. I think you're on But what like,
can you imagine? Can you imagine, because we've always been
on the other side of it, would you should I
take the cash out? Should take the cash out, and
then we either eat it or we don't. I don't
think I've ever I don't think I've ever ridden to
(39:06):
the end and got the huge payout. I've definitely cashed
out and got like five hundred set of nine hundred
or whatever it was.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
We always by this side.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
Can you imagine being the people in the room if
the Jets do win the Super Bowl, you're like, I
think we should offer them three grand.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
I really know, just make it three.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
They won five straight, they're starting to catch fire. The
look pretty good. Let's just offer them three grand. Let's
get off this thing, like whatever, No, ho, it'll be fine,
there's no it's the Jets.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
What are they gonna do? And they just keep going
and then they and then.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
All of a sudden, you gotta cut out a million dollars.
This dude over a fifty dollars beat like, don't you
like if you're the one who said, hold, aren't you fired?
Like instantly, like there's no way you get allowed.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
I'm just in my mind convinced myself that everybody on
every gambling site that offers a cash out, those people
who decide it are all the same people from dealer,
no deal, the banker.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
The banker.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
They're all in one room. Everybody's parlays are all being kids.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Got a mixture of shark, tank and the banker. It's
all like one in one. It's just is that too
date of a reference? Now deal or no deal? I
don't feel like it is. People got that right, I
don't care. Look it up. I mean it's it's the
age of Google. Look it up.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
It's how Howie Mandel would turn up and and a
shadow figure would have a phone and tell him make
it making baking man, and wouldn't say you wouldn't hear him?
And then how he would turn you to go, all right,
you've impressed him. He's offering you twenty five thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
And then you go, I do what do I do?
Speaker 2 (40:28):
I know there's twenty cases left and you have twenty
five I keep I'm gonna keep going the next three
or five hundred thousand, one million, but all right, it's
gone down.
Speaker 3 (40:43):
I almost I don't even know if this is holly Ja.
It can't be that far off. But like, let's say
an easy one, right, it's.
Speaker 4 (40:48):
Either five hundred thousand dollars or one dollar. The banker
has come back with two hundred thousand dollars. In my head,
I'm like, no, no, no, it should be two fifty, right,
because but it never was.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
There's probably a mathematical equation to it.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
But I also think there's like I think in that situation,
like for this, they don't know who you are, it's
all math.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
It's all math.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
Like it's all right if there's a thirty percent chance
to winning the thing right now, blah blah blah.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
I'm gonna offer this.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
Like on that one on that Dealer no deal, I
think it was it was partially math, but I also
think it was like house just don't like this person,
So it should be seventy five k, but we're gonna
drop it down at fifty.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
Here's them.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
Here's my great piece of advice. You can't do this
on dealer No deal, but you can do this wagering
on sports. There are some people who will never ever
ever touch a future market. That's not their thing. They're
not in the prediction game. They don't like the money
sitting there for too long. They don't want to play
that game. But if you ever do future wagers, you
have to round robin it.
Speaker 5 (41:50):
You have to.
Speaker 4 (41:51):
And if you don't know what I'm talking about, like, okay,
here's a great scenario for this Jets play.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
Right.
Speaker 4 (41:55):
Let's say he was just an egg like parlay, okay,
and his final play was tonight bucks in Chiefs, you
can hedge the bet. Hey, I'm gonna put one hundred bucks.
I wagered on the Buccaneers. I'm gonna put one hundred
bucks on the Chief. That way, I guarantee myself I
will profit from a wager. I'm either gonna win because
of my chief bet or I'm gonna win because of
the parlay. You have two variables, two exits Buccaneers cash
(42:16):
for you Chiefs, it you win. This is not that
scenario because you have thirty one other variables that could hit.
But if you round robin to the bet, now, all
of a sudden, you're you have to do it for futures,
because this guy hit six and he's not gonna get
a pay out my future wager.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
Knock on wood.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
That's seven leag parlay. I round robbin it five times
and six times. So even if I get one knocked off,
I've convinced myself I'm winning. That's the right play. Or
stay away from futures in general, which I don't like.
That's not as fun.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Listen, you get the right one, you know, like the
best I've done on these things, they're usually vanity bets.
Let's not get it wrong, But let's pretend for a
second that I was right about the Bills and the Rams.
You and me sitting outside of Stewart's freezing our tuckas
is off on a on a on a Friday, could
(43:07):
turn into me turning five bucks into nine hundred something,
you know what I mean, Like it's possible. And and
let's let's also the Rams win, the Bills win. How
many more of those days in my way from them
going hey, you want you want fifty bucks? You want seventy?
I mean, I gotta tell you that, biot lets unless
they start looking like absolute world beaters, that buiout gets
(43:30):
up into like three digits.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
We might be talking about a quick cash out and
be done with it. You and coach McGrath. The tamarack said,
I love this wager. He's all in with you. He's
riding Boston, Dan, that's bold.
Speaker 2 (43:42):
I've seen you bet overnight Asian horse racing with like
one hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (43:48):
Bill, Like, don't talk to me about bold, Okay, I
don't want to hear it. I'm seeing you. I know
what you're all about.
Speaker 4 (43:53):
We might have to do a wager with him for
the Syrah he's taking on Boston College right here on
your home for sir Key's football Fox Sports that we
love the c W, the Kings of the CW if
you want to watch on the television sign which that
joke's still out there, but Boston College there because maybe
d Austin Day and I have a nice little wager
out there for that game.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
Yeah, you don't swim in his waters, you don't pass then, yeah,
I mean I don't know, like he'll like I have
to like get him like embarrassing stuff or else he
won't even he won't even like I can't because because
if he he'll just I'll be like, you know, fifty bucks.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
Why not five hundred?
Speaker 2 (44:27):
What?
Speaker 5 (44:27):
No?
Speaker 3 (44:28):
Why?
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Like?
Speaker 3 (44:29):
Why why is it gonna be that? One more thing?
Speaker 2 (44:32):
I saw this story I saw the other day, but
meaning talking about it, like how far would you go
to get rid of a bad habit?
Speaker 3 (44:37):
Like what would you be willing to do to get
rid of of a bad habit? Oh? Gosh, would would
brain zapping? Would that?
Speaker 2 (44:44):
Would that come across your No? No, no, It's a
new addiction prevention wave of the future. Scientists are hopeful
that the new experimental brain zapping can help people overcome
their addictions to drugs, alcohol, and other things. Doctors at
West Virginia University's Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute West of Virginia Neuroscience
(45:07):
are in the same sentence interesting. They have a special
one million dollar helmet and goggles that people wear while
they're being shown images of what they're struggling with, so
that the helmet then pulses parts of the brain with
ultrasound waves until the cravings are gone. So far are
(45:28):
rewarded three quarters of the trial participants have remained substance
free for months. They usually go to this dude, stude
Joe Hilton. He's forty one, he has a problem with
heroin and met then beetamine. He tried the experimental treatment.
After rehab and twelve step meetings could not stop him
from relapsing and the brain's apping. He told The Wall
(45:52):
Street Journal the cravings for the drugs he had before
the treatment were no longer there. He felt nothing about
the substances he had been using for the last two decades.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Two things.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
Maybe it's true, can't wait to see what the side
effects are from brain zapping. But more importantly, Hey, sir,
do you do you still use heroin in math? Yeah? No,
you're not.
Speaker 5 (46:18):
No.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
No one says yes to that question. No one has
ever been asked, hey do you do you use heroin
in math? By by the Wall Street Journal and gone,
oh hell yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
What do you got? Some like, no, are you a nark?
You a nerd nark?
Speaker 2 (46:32):
What do you got over there? Brains zapping? Like even
late night snacking. Well, what we did is we put
pictures of ho hose in a helmet, and then he
zapped his brain. He no longer wants hose, but he
also jewels twenty four seven.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
I want to say, brain zapping's dumb. That's the right answer.
There is no other answer brain zappings dumb.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
If I told you was from Harvard instead of West Virginia,
would you believe it a little bit better? Yes, they would.
Speaker 2 (46:57):
Yeah, I don't want to be arrogant about my brainsapping,
but I don't I think I want at least IVY league.
It's almost exclusively health I don't think tech falls in
this category because I think as people get older than
are saying tech has improved, it feels like it's just
exclusively health ware.
Speaker 4 (47:13):
As decades have gone by, people have looked at what
people did healthwise sustain in shape, and they're like, you
did what?
Speaker 3 (47:19):
Who told you that? Why?
Speaker 2 (47:22):
You? And I?
Speaker 4 (47:22):
Over the course of the last few years, like you
were just recently on a juice cleanse. Some people would
look back and be like, what I've done, smash diet,
I've done, uh whole thirty I did a bunch of
my teammates said the weight loss pills at one point,
like I've done a bunch of different diets and stuff,
and all of those could look at that and be
(47:42):
like he did what everybody could look at those chocolate
milk I love that one. That's my favorite chocolate milk.
In two thousand and eight was talking it is the
best thing for workouts. Now, pedia lights out there like
there's just wild things they are, of course pickle juice, Like,
of course, what do you mean brain zapping doesn't work?
We we are gosh day before the election, about to
say this we as a human erase of gotten dumber.
Speaker 3 (48:04):
Oh yeah, I mean the number I tell my kid
every time we're talking about anything. I just go, I go,
I go. Every time.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
I picture like like these aliens that we're seeing now
and they go by, I just picture like the father alien.
Speaker 3 (48:16):
Windows up. Kids, it's the earthlings. They zap their brains
to stop doing heroin. But dad, what's heroin?
Speaker 1 (48:25):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (48:25):
We call it glob Oh people still do that, yeah
in their veins. Oh wow, right, they're still picking their
buggers by the way, and eatium. Look here's Aaron Rodgers
and Gardner minshew here they are. Oh man, well we
found out that buggers are a great sense of protein. Man,
I just brainsapping. I got be honest, Man, I don't know. Man,
(48:47):
if it made me walk past that bowl of Halloween
candy without grabbing a handful, I might I might let
him do a quick zip or two.
Speaker 3 (48:52):
But again, I can't. I can't be West Virginia like
it's it's like it's maybe if Yale did it.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
I've done cryotherapy. I haven't done body sculpting yet. I
will do hair replacement surgery at some point.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
Where are you going to replace it from you? Did
someone say, Yell, I've got an idea to zap your brain?
How about you zap your fat ass? How your laser
text that hair off of your neck and on to
the top of your head, you neck beard monkey. I
(49:29):
thought we had no time for you, but there you are, yelling,
may make time.
Speaker 3 (49:33):
You've heard of daylight savings. I save daylight. I've got
a bank of just daylight. That's right.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Well, you're all here getting money and crypto. I'm changing
the game. Sooner or later it'll be dunk all the
time except for where I am, so it'll be daylight
all the time.
Speaker 3 (49:48):
Yeah, I really can't stange you. I can if you
showed up to the show.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
Yell McK yellerton heard earlier you thought Syracuse is going
to the tournament.
Speaker 3 (49:56):
I'm here to sell them their tickets. I don't like
how good yell backsketball has been either. They wanted him
last year we listen.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
We're so busy, you know, coming up with brains. Come on,
West Virginia. Where did they find the brains?
Speaker 3 (50:10):
Yeah, we've got about ninety seconds. Can I get your
thoughts on the election quickly? Oh? Yeah, it's obvious. It's obvious.
Speaker 5 (50:15):
What to do?
Speaker 2 (50:16):
Leave the world like we've got shuttles. We're leaving. It's crazy.
You people are staying here. Have you seen it?
Speaker 3 (50:23):
One of them's orange and the other one's on Saturday
Night Live. What are you doing? Get out of here?
Oh yeah, I kind of like that one. Doesn't can
take by you? Yell. I don't like you.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
I can't believe you understood it. Look at you that night,
so proud of you. Next thing, I've been using crowns
and working zippers. Look at you.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
You're just coming along? Did you hear I have a
baby project? Do you have a baby on the way?
Another one? H Have you ever heard of cable? Have
you ever heard of other things to do for fun?
All right? That poor woman seeing your naked? At least
three to get out? Yell, Mick, we have to leave
the shop. Show you're not kicking me out? On leaving?
Speaker 2 (50:53):
My God for cano and rich Who I like to
call them poor and poor, get out, get out, go,
And there's only one thing rich around here, and it's me.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
By gosh, vote, make sure to vote tomorrow. There you go,
you'll go to everyone.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
