know the fact that Jets fan is praying that he
puts Whatdy Johnson back in an ambassador role. You know,
it's very sport presidential election.

We're on Fox Sports now, we used to work for ESPN.
We don't have to uh not talk about an act
like politics don't exist. Like it's almost disingenuine to you
listening to his audience.

that you're in over the Atlantic. Like if he fails,
we all fail root for him for a while, like
it is what it is. He won, he won handily.

I'll use a sports comparison for the twenty twenty four
election too. When it comes to the NFL Draft, the
NFL Draft, now on a one calendar year, from January
to December, is the most hyped event, not a game.
The most hyped event, not practice, is the NFL Draft
and what happens every single year, and remember this one,

it comes around in April of twenty five. I'm sure Lavac,
one of us, you mean, somebody you listening might say
to you, this is the most exciting draft of all time.
I've never seen a draft like this before. Anything can happen.
I don't know who's gonna go where, I don't know
what team's gonna pick, the all those things we say
every year about the NFL Draft and Ulsia dors Sanders.

Do you hate There are a lot of comparisons to
that to the presidential election of twenty twenty four. But
here's the thing I'll say about both of them. They're

people who will sit on this for three years or
two years and told us we wouldn't know for two weeks.

We wouldn't know for a month. You're all wrong.

You are wrong in twenty twenty, you are wrong in
twenty sixteen. How we can go back farther to eight
that the hype around it. I wonder if I've convinced
myself and we've all been convinced of they're just gonna
tell us traditional media, legacy media, non traditional media, whoever
you want to blame today.

This was like an NFL draft hype for months and
it was nowhere close to the close. Can't miss, can't
take your eyes off. And actually, like we were told,
it was going to be the hardest.

through their screaming and it'll be over and we have
to move forward, everybody. I have a lot of future wagers.

And again, I have a sports brain. I pay attention,
like like if there's a football game on Sunday afternoon
and it's on Fox. Okay. I can tune from Fox
to CBS to NFL networks and it's the same score everywhere.

Last night I half my night, you know, so I
was texting you. I was texting Boston, Dan, everybody else.
All Right. Fox says it's this, CNN says it's this,
MSNBC says it's everybody had a different number of electoral
votes to each candidate. I it was. It was insane.
It was crazy to the point where I think they

said Harris is gonna make her concession speech soon. At first,
I was like, dude, I don't blame her for'm not
talking to anybody last night. I think she should have
talked to her supporters. I think she should have even
if she didn't concede, just said hey, everybody buckle in whatever.
But like what a Fox News was the fastest to

give off states to either candidate, and it didn't bite
them this year, bit them four years ago. Right, there's
a couple of times they gave out states to think back.
They didn't. Everybody ended up with like the same states eventually,
but Fox did give them out first. I'm like watching
Fox going I'm waiting for the give back that's what
I'm waiting for. I'm waiting for the fumble. I'm waiting
for the turnover didn't end up happening, But I don't.

I just hope that we can just chill out. I
really just hope we can, just because I'm watching, Like
there's people I love who are very excited about the
outcome of the election. There's people I love who are
they think the world just ended, And I'm just like, guys,
I'm in the middle over here, like, I don't. I
don't like it. I don't think anybody liked him as
I don't think aybody likes Donald Trump's a person like right,

I mean, I think like I mean, if you met him,
he would probably win you over. He's probably very charismatic
in a weird way.

There was a time where I grew up and I
know your old co host used to say this way
back in the day. Army used to say, back in
the day, people used to vote for the president of
the guy you'd most likely want to sit down and
have a beer with. Yeah, Trump is No one said
that in the years. No one's never said that about it.

Based on this election, I'd quit drinking like I would.
I don't want to hang out with either one of
these two. But you know, you had to sit down
and you had to pick what made sense to you,
and you had to vote based on that, and then
when it's over, when the voting's over, that sadly, the
part of this is taking the taking the results and

doing what you can do to make the world a
better place.

On your het, well, go back, what more time for me?
The NFL Draft comparison. Our team was on the clock.
You had an idea of what you would have liked
your team to do. For some of you, they made
the perfect pick. For others, you hate the pick. Are
you going to continue to support your team? Are you
gonna yell and scream and then get over it and
then go back to supporting your team? Are you gonna
leave the country and never watch the sport again? A

lot of you are saying a lot of wild things today.
But back to the NFL Draft comparison. And I know
it's almost weak to do it into the sports, but
this is a sports show. No one else will do
it like this. Now you make your decision. Are you
going to complain or are you going to follow it?
Because I don't know, I knew today would be like today,
But let's make this just today.

I got friends who are never going to speak to
each other again because of this election. Why why That's

you both did your part, you made your vote, you
spent I heard you for months trying to convince each
other to vote the way you wanted the other one
to vote, and you both voted the way you wanted

to vote, which is this way this is supposed to work.
We debate, we discuss, we teach, we learn, then we
vote and then we accept the what happens. And I know,
like it's kind of funny to say accept what happens,
consider the fact that four years ago that didn't really happen,
But like it's it is what it is like at
this point. Now we now you can act locally to

make the world a better play.

It's the most ignorant, short sighted way for people to think, Hey,
you don't agree with every single thing that I agree with,
so I don't like you anymore. What Like, I just
maybe it's a maturity, Maybe it's the generation I grew
up in. But I just can't imagine whether it's religion.
If you told somebody I don't like you because you're Catholic,
I don't like you because you're Jewish, that's like saying

I don't like the way you voted, I don't like
the Raiders, I don't like the.

I feel uncomfortable even saying, because it's like it should
never be ways in which people think about other people.

But you've experienced it today well. And also I think
we're at a point now where all everybody's charged up. Everybody,
the public was weaponized in this in the last eight years,
ten years, fifteen years, whatever. Now, don't be used. The
world is the world right now, look at it, live

in it, experience it, and live by your experience. And again,
if you can do something to make the world a
better place, do that. That would be a good way
to get moved forward. But like the only way that
we're ever going to bridge this weird gap that we've
built that is literally causing best friends to never talk
to each other again, or at least say that's what's
gonna happen and storm off, is if we actually like

talk to each other, like that's one of my I
don't who is the athlete? One of the athletes just
said it like if the world was it mahomes, if
the world was like a locker room, it would be
a better place. Because terrible, terrible, terrible things can said
locker rooms. But you know what's dealt with, it's learned from,
move on from, or it's embraced and learned from everybody,

chance to kind of not dance like puppets. You know.
The world is the world at this moment. Here's your chance.
Let's just live in it. Let's be better people. Let's
forgive each other for not agreeing on every Everyone's entitle

that are priority now. You can think differently. That doesn't

make you a bad person. And just because someone disagrees
with you doesn't mean you need to be defensive. Just
because someone's disagreeing with you doesn't mean their answer is
one hundred percent wrong and you're one hundred percent right now.
I hope that doesn't fall on deaf ears. There might
be some people.
