Speaker 1 (00:00):
Top four at four with the vac and.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Guzz time of the four Biggest Stories in the World
of Sports, It's brought to you by Mohawk Honda, where
they always go out of their way to please you
and repair Gos's vehicles. Guys, what's the fourth biggest story
in the world of sports?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I don't like it. I don't like it being in
here without an hour of the show in here, I
don't know if I like it.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I'll being in studio. It's you know, you know, I
know what's messed up about being in studio right now.
My headphones sound better to me on the road than
they do in this studio. There's something horribly wrong with
where my headphones are plugged into, and it's no one's
ever gonna fix it. Uh so I just have to
get used to it. I feel like waves are crashing

(00:41):
behind my head like it's.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
So.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I feel like I'm on remote location. Actually, for being honest,
I feel like I'm already on my cruise. I'm going
on January.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
There's some buttons I have to say. You know what,
We're not gonna complain.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
We're gonna have you four biggest stories in the world
of sports, right now on a Friday, locked in this
horribly muggy sittums. Okay, see any of you all? Oops,
how about that basketball fans? Basketball back in action this weekend.
We'll do that for you, Albany. First, do you Albany
back in action tomorrow? Is the Great Danes will host
Sunny Oneana, a Division III school, for their second game

(01:14):
of the season. Well, well, Sienna basketball, get ready for
these Friday nights.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Punched down, just keep punching down.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Friday night games in the MAC, although this is not
a MAC matchup. They take on the Brian Bulldogs. I
missed their coach. That guy was nuts. He was out
of his mind. He tried to don't you know who
I am? Situation with a police officer. I think a
few about a year ago now, Brian was wild. But
Sienna at Bryant seven o'clock tip off. Let's go with you,

(01:41):
Albany for the storyline here. Though you joke around punching down,
is there anything positive that can come from the D
three matchup? Where the program is now for the Great
Danes taking on Sunny Oneana.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh yeah, man, you gotta gotta work out the gotta
work out the bugs, you know, you get it. There's
obviously this is a talented team. You know, Dwayne Kelling
said this is the most talented team he's had. You
got you know, sometimes you get out there against somebody
who's trying to beat you just to kind of take
a look at how it is. I mean, you know,
it happened. We're doing football all the time. You know.

(02:13):
I was literally just telling my daughter the other day
about because trying to explain why I like Jared Verse
so much, and I was like, well, you know, you
alban he played Syracuse and Syracuse you know, they beat
him up. But Jared Verse looked phenomenal in that game
and he got to go to Florida State and this,
that and the other. So like it. There's definitely a

(02:33):
value to playing I hate saying lesser talent. You know,
a smaller division is is is there's a benefit to.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Both teams have two matchups here before next Saturday, when
is the Albany Cup is renewed. Siena will take on
you Albany on Saturday, November sixth.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
How you said, dude, talk about it.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Talk about a packed weekend in sports next weekend next
Friday preview the Albany Cup, your preview Jones versus Steve,
You preview Paul versus Tyson. By the way, we got
Hooters Fantasy Verse Reality coming up in about twenty minutes.
It's a packed weekend next week. But we move on
to story number three. Let's talk some local college football.
There's a quarterback change for the U Albany Great Danes.

(03:14):
It's the Apple Cup tomorrow at Stonybrook. The seven and
two Sea Wolves host the Great Danes. Quarterback change. Been
a tough season for you Albany and coach Catuso sit
at three and six on the season, Levec, Let's just
focus on you, Olbening before we talk about the other
d three teams FCS.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
For U Albany, of course, could a.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Quarterback change spark something for the rest of the season
now that Miles Burkett has been injured, Maybe a new
name under center potentially good for the Great Danes. Trey Lindsay.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
By the way, the name of the quarterback getting the
start this week.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
That's always a difficult thing because when you see the
new energy come out there, he sometimes you do see
the spark, but if you look at the stats and stuff,
you almany should be in every game, you know what
I mean, they should have been They probably should have
won most of their games.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
But if he was the better choice, he would have
been out there. That being said, when you speak to
the energy, you know, maybe maybe he's a guy who
wants he's on the field in the in the you know,
actual game. It's a different it's a different thing. So
I'm excited for it. I'm excited for any change because

(04:18):
I want to see I think every other year, you
already's gonna be a monster and Lindsay, so let's see
it good. Let's hopefully the monster starts today this week.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Is I hope some because a lot of the recruiting,
we talk about how it affected the program. We also
have to remember they didn't bring in some FBS guys.
They've had FBS talent for sure, because the high level
of competition. U Albney continues to have Lindsay interesting because
he played at Auburn, and by playing at Auburn, I
mean he was a walk on originally in Auburn and
then became a graduate student, so he's a sixty year guy.

(04:49):
But then he lost the starting spot in camp to Burkint,
who was another FBS transfer guy. So all the movement
of that, I feel like I'm labeling people. Oh he's
an FBS threer. I mean, I mean, I shouldn't think
of it like that, But that's the storyline of it.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Let's be real. Their labels exist. Okay, look, can we
just can we just relax? The labels are.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
There, makes it easier to digest. That's the way I'm
gonna cover myself there. Union takes on Rochester. That is
a noon, noon kickoff in Schenectady. Coach Drock squad probably
looking forward to twenty twenty five, but getting those young guys,
some reps and a Union football program who's had a
lot of different head coaches recently. An interesting time for

(05:29):
the seniors coming up as well. RPI Football heads to
Western New York. They'll take on Buffalo State. Change a
note of that time, by the way, that is now
a noon kickoff at Buffalo State. So if you're an
RPI fan, get ready for that coming up this weekend.
Let's move on to story number two. We talk some
more college football, but we'll move it to the FBS level.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
First.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
We'll start off with the game that you can hear
right here on the Voice of the Capitol Region side
Fox Sports nine Syracuse Football. Now I'm concerned if they're
not even playing this week. I'm pretty sure Syracuse is.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Playing this week.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
They are.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
They played Boston College. That's a noon a noon kickoff
in Chestnut Hill. So the schedule look like this. On Saturday,
ten o'clock you'll get the Coach Fran Brown Coaches Show, which,
by the way, there's an interesting little tidbit involved him
and Coach Baheim during that when there's a little teas
for the Beeheim talk and an injury that could affect
a young freshman, big time recruit. That's a ten pregame

(06:32):
at eleven, kickoff at noon. Well back, we could talk
a lot about the storylines of what it means for
Syracuse and Boston College BC going for the win, Syracuse
trying to get to win number seven in a scenario
out there they can win the ACC. Those are the
storylines we could do, okay, Or we could do the
storyline that Tom Brennemanton's on the call for this game
for the CW on the television side, and the quarterback
for Boston College's last new is castianos Oh. It's a

(06:56):
deep fly ball Laftbier Castano show.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I deeply regret is that your favorite storyline game? I do,
because again, it's like when I first saw all Right,
sorry Buddy Boston, damn big BC fans. So I saw
the name and I was like, wait a minute, why
does this This looks like the other name. This looks
like this could be maybe we could have the thing.
And then here we are with exactly how I hope
they would play out. So so I'm i'm i'm I'm

(07:24):
more excited about that. Will something monumental happen during like
a like a deep pass from Castianos, so deep pass
down the left side of field of Castianos, And I
deeply regret the things only.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
On the vacuum Guys on the internet, could you find
those stories? I think Syracuse should win. They'll be scheduled
to win that game. They will get the win. Number seven.
Castianis is a really nice quarterback. Bill O'Brien's did a
really nice job with that program. Feels like a one
possession game though, you know it should be a good Listen,
I'll give.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
You a good game. Yeah, there's there's a lot of
good games this weekend. There's a lot of good matchups.
This again, well, let's continue to talk about that. Let's
just say matchups, because we don't know if the game's
really good until they have.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
We'll talk more about these matchups. Let's talk about these.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Let's stay right here at number two with some of
these games, including those big matchups, are Georgia ol Miss.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
I'll get back to that one at about forty five minutes.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Michigan Indiana, top ten team in the country.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
What do you think the spread should be on that game? Uh?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
What it should be or what it is? I do
know what it is.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
You know what it is.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
I do know what it is. But I probably would
have had it at ten ten. I was thinking like
nine and a half. So fourteen and a half they're
begging to take Michigan. That's not good.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
It's not good for me personally, but you know whatever, man,
I'd probably throw a little five dollars Jimmy jam down
there on Michigan. Just watch the game, you know. But yeah, no,
that's the old Miss Jackson Dart. Now Michigan, whoever the
quarterback is this week.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
The thing with misch the thing with Michigan Indiana is
that as bad as people try to trash Indiana about
their schedules been soft in this and that it's not like.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
The barely beating anybody.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
They didn't trail in a game all season until last
week and they smoked Michigan State. I believe their margin
of victories close to twenty points this season. Their coach
is gonna win the national Coach of the Year. He said,
I'm coaching James Madison. I'm bringing all my guys. He
didn't do my luggage. You beat me to it, right,
not bringing the luggage in the Louis. He didn't have
an epic quote like that. He did the look at
my record, Google me quote, which is just as awesome.

(09:24):
Alabama lsu Hm. I have a big storyline about that game.
Also another off the fielding game. But the rankings are
a little lower than the usual with something is happening
in Baton Rouge this weekend that hasn't happened in a while.
Penn State Washington on Picot they went a little upset.

(09:46):
I'm not gonna touch this game. Oh, I might, but
two games to look at Waydrian White share them Florida
Texas BYU Utah all top twenty five matchups. I'll get
those in the our play that day coming up? How's
that that Florida Texas one is intriguing to me? So
Texas is a twenty one and a half point favorite

(10:07):
right now, and we were talking about yesterday Florida gives
the vote of confidence the coaching staff and everything. It's like, hmmm,
does that rile up or make the team feel defeated?
We won't find out. We don't find out that's exactly right.
We'll find out this weekend as packed slated games in
college shall Buzy mentioned Loveka, Let's we want.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
To a story number one?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
It is week ten of the NFL season. It all
gets underway in Germany with a nine to thirty kickoff
eight to thirty pre game on our sister station, Picks One,
a six year home for New York Giants footballs.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
The Giants take it on the Panthers. Don't forget.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
If you're a Giant fan, you're getting up early. We
hope that you can not just listen to the game,
but while you're driving over to Schenecty Rivers Casino Resort,
Levak and I will be there broadcasting live from eleven
to one as we get you ready for an NFL Sunday,
we'll talk about the Giants game, we'll talk about the Bills,
who kick off at one o'clock against the Colts, and
then we'll send you to Fox Sports and then at
two thirty you'll have a two hour pregame as you

(11:03):
get ready for Jets Cardinals, which you can hear right
here on your home for Jets football Fox Sports ninety five.
It's a crazy pack day, levac Any thoughts on Bill's
Jets Giants do we combine it all here? It's one
of these potentially shown up in your fantasy.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Yeah, there's there's a decent chance you're gonna hear my
Jets and Giants takes in just a little bit. As
far as the Bills go, man, I just I just
like watching them play football right now. They they play
inspired football. The healthier that wide receiver corp gets, the
better that team is gonna be. The defense is getting

(11:40):
a little better every week. I like me some Bills
football right now.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
That is a legit playoff contender, obviously, you've give me
the ninety nine percent number earlier. A Super Bowl contender. However,
culture an ugly team like they play ugly football, do
trap games exist in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
I might hold that.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
I mean, the Colts somehow make you feel like you're
playing in mud when you play against him. That's a
great trial game for the Bills. Like you said, trap game,
mentality game. You're better than they are. You should beat them,
even on the road. I think that's that's a Bills game.
If you want to really see where the rubber meets
the road with your team, don't start worrying about the
Colts or don't think I'm sorry the Chiefs or the

(12:22):
Ravens or any of those. Beat down a team that's
talented but not nearly as talented as you and the Colts.
I'd like to see that.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
For the Giants Panthers game.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
I don't have this as fantasy versus reality, but it's
a pick you should think about. Molikue Neighbors is projected
to be the third highest scoring wide receiver in Fantasy
this week. We already know who number one was. I
don't think anyone's gonna catch Jamar Chase, and by the way,
he was projected to be number one.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
I hope the league, Neighbors says, I have a couple
of leagues.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
He's projected to be third this week, So see if
that if it all plays a matchup in that game,
and Neighbors says one of the best games in his
career in Jets Cardinals. We're looking at that game potentially
kicking off as one of the loosest spread games. Could
a Jet upset, oh, Jets are favorite? Could a Jet
victory change that season?

Speaker 3 (13:07):
And how the okay? You know what, it's something wrong
with your nose.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Steak.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
That is your top four to four or biggest stories
in the world sports.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Or biggest stories in the world. It would be a
I was I gotta tell you. I want to know
about rings. I'm all about the rings, my friend.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
You can get your rings at Lily and David Fine
Jeweliers Levac, located at the shops at Wilt.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
I know that transition from me on that one.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Now Lily and David Fine Jeeliers can help you. It
is a family owned and operated business. Alyssa, David Tammy,
g everybody in there. I've have to meet so many
great people in the staff at Lilian David Fine Jeweler's
always doing great things across the Capital region. It's fun
hearing stories about people who have stopped in a Lilian
David Fine jeelers and taken our advice and said, hey,
this is the perfect spot to get a ring for her.

(13:57):
This is the place to start that engagement process or
for a wedding. The entire team there will help you
make those big decisions. And I know from experience because
that's where I had gone so many years ago. Lily
and David Fine Julius's I plan for my family to
continue to expand. Here this month, Lily and David Fine
Julius can help you find the push gift for her.
Saying that out loud, realizing when do I get paid again?

(14:18):
When does the push gift? Lilian David Fine Julius is
always the best. We appreciate all their support through all
these years, and we hope you listening can support these
grade people in this family owned and operated business as well.
Head over their Facebook page to check out all the
selection of Julia that she's gonna love. Upcoming this holiday season,
it's Lily and David Fine Jewelier's family owns an operated
business stop in at the Shops at Wilton.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Coming up next, we got Fantasy versus Reality. We both
had wedding weeks. I think it's the first time we
both had winning weeks, winning season.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Whoa winning weeks, Levc.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
We have gone back to back weeks.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I believe our combined record is something like nine to
one and two over the last time.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I mean, this is a good one. That's a gud.
We had a gun. I'm gonna have another gud and
hopefully you will as well. Fantasy Versus Reality is come
up next right here on Fox Sports Radio ninety five,
nine nine eighty.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
It's time for Fantasy.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Every year, I set this league up every year and
I never win this just a year. Oh, I don't
have to set a lineup. Still here, stupid.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Stupid versus Reality. Baby, we done it well, Ridge Baby,
break out. The red Ponties were Ridge Baby with Levac
and guys.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Last week, I went three and one, taking a Thursday
night game for the first time I think in the
history of Fantasy Versus Reality with the stankiness which brings
me up to twelve and eighteen on the season. Yes,
I've been that bad gods three zero one with a
fourth play putting him at nine, sixteen and four. I
do not know what the winning percentage is on those,

(15:47):
but I just see my feather. Oh, you have the
winning percentage, Yes, I have you what.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Am my gosh're talking about headphones. It's the bet headphone
carme I just had there. You have a four hundred
winning percentage, Levak, and I have a three seventy nine.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
That is actually striking distance, uh, for the first time.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Thirty eight percent is how math works? Three seventy nine?
What the world is I just talked about? But yes,
striking distance for the first time is more important. If
you don't know, well, that gives you three plays. He's
starting to cash them tickets for you. I have to
play the over and a half point PPR projections. Thanks
to ESPN, we have finally found the hot streak and
we're rolling now.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Yeah, I'm just I'm just following the stank. If just
some staking the air, I'm after it. You technically had
a better week, so you get to decide who goes first.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
I would like you to go first.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Good good, because I'm starting with the very first game
live from Munich. It's the New York Football Giants six
and a half point favorite, technically the Panthers of the
home team. The total is forty and a half points. Listen,
this is an interesting game, but if you, if you really,
if you really sniff it out, there's a little bit
of stank. It's out there. Both teams are two and seven.

(16:56):
The Giants have not won a game since Week five,
that's October in Seattle. The Seahawks are one in three
since then. Meanwhile, the Panthers are coming off a very
high energy, big time win over the rivals, the Saints.
I agree that the Giants should be favored, but six
and a half seems like a lot. Seems like maybe

(17:17):
they're asking you to take the Panthers. We know that
Brian Dable is hearing from the pundits. Everybody out there
thinks whether he should or should not have his job.
We know the players do it. We know there was
a very spirited conversation between Giants defensive stars Dexter Lawrence
and Brian Burns after last week's game, of which neither
one was willing to tell the press what they talked about.

(17:40):
I think that is going to have a very very
serious result on this game live from Munich. The Giants
win and cover Giants minus six and a half points.
Big Blue starts the NFL Sunday with a big wu
in Munich.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Giants says, don't you want it so badly? You need
a giant fan. Come on, this can be your moment.
Go out and do a giant fan. We'll see what
they can do. Can't wait to watch that game. We'll
have having a lot of fun line from Rivers Cassino
Resort for that one.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
I'm gonna use the Heidi slot machine again in honor
of Munich.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Let's start with the quarterback position. This is one I
might be too stubborn on because I wanted this play
on Monday. It's Friday evening. I haven't budged. I knew
going into Week ten. I'd even this was almost a
blind play by me. That's how convinced I felt this
guy was gonna hit it this week. And Lavac has
given me over the year's grief about how much fantasy

(18:36):
football love I throw on this guy. It is Justin Herbert,
Justin Herbert for the Los Angeles Chargers. His numbers projected
at fifteen point five this week. That's a perfect middle
of the road quarterback. If you're just a weekly fantasy
football player, the price will be nice for Herbert Herbert.
How about this multiple touchdown passes in consecutive games, for

(18:57):
the first time this season. All right, all right, don't
worry about that. What about the Cleveland Browns? Every week,
these guys are getting lit up. How about over close
to eleven yards per attempt by quarterbacks? You want the
deep ball? Justin Herbert's got it. Quentin Johnston can't catch
the ball with his hands. He's catching over one hundred

(19:18):
yards last week. He can do it. How about it.
Come on the Chargers this week.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Beat that number.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Give me the Chargers in their matchup Justin Herbert and company.
They beat the number of fifteen point five. I think
I said the Browns. The Titans, they play the titles.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
That's different.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
The Titans. They play against the Browns last week.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Can you remember the Titans.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
The Titans defense the fewest passing yards in.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
The league this season.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
We're beating the number, baby, We're beating the number.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Give me Justin Herbert, you can have him.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
The New York Jets, which you hear right here on
Fox Sports Radio ninety five, nine nine eighty, head to
the Desert, Arizona to take on the Cardinals. Jets are
a two point favorite. The total is forty six and
a half points. It's so clear to me now I
kind of said it as a joke before, but it's
so real. The Jets are about to go streaking, a

(20:12):
winning streak that will allow everyone from firenman Ed to
your uncle Joey, who loves the Jets but doesn't talk
about it, actually wears a bag over his head to
go to the fridge to get a beer during the season.
The bag's coming off. Everybody's gonna be fired up. The
Jets go and winning, baby, this is what's gonna happen. However,
Stanky is very strong with this one of my friends.

(20:33):
The Jets just beat a banged up Texans team in
a super ugly game.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Meanwhile, the Cardinals on a three game win streak. They
beat the Chargers, the Dolphins, and the Bears. Somehow, the
Jets are a two point road favorite.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
What's that's so staky?

Speaker 1 (20:50):
I can't I'm gonna shut the fridge in Pretendeho'll spell it.
That's how stanky that is. Give me the Jets. Jets, Jets,
Jets minus two points. They win this thing outright, cover
the number.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
That's right. It is a rare double New Jersey victory. Sunday.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
I'd like to see your all time record wagering on
the Jets.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
On the Fox side of this show.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
There's a chance you have an undefeated record betting on
the Jets. You nailed the Eagles pick last year in
the upset, you nailed the pick last Thursday. You could
go undefeated when the Levac's if you hit this again
for the Jets, Jet fan, when Levak gives a Jet pick,
never never lout what happened to him?

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Where's LeVar?

Speaker 2 (21:30):
But don't stay it out loud.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
It's like beatle juice.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
You say it three times, he shows up.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
I move on to my running back position. I have
struggled this season getting a running back, but finally Kareem
Hunt broke that curse for me and I figured this out.
This is my new theory in twenty twenty four when
it comes to running backs, the disrespect you don't think
I'm good. I've played the storyline before, if can you
stay in the league, but now it's can we trust
you at running back? A lot of guys try to

(21:54):
figure that out, and we have that happening now. For
the Chicago Bears, Khalil Herbert traded this week. The bank
thought he could be their guy. Now it's all about
the double. Now now it feels like it's all about
DeAndre Swift. DeAndre Swift is the guy in Chicago. Now
we all know he can do it close to one
hundred yards when he needs to, could catch out of
the backfield. But DeAndre Swift, this is his backfield to lose.

(22:18):
And let's always remember he does have a rookie quarterback.
We've hit midway through the season. How much if it
are you to continue to ask from Kayleb Williams to
lead Chicago out of the basement of the north and said,
you're gonna lean on this guy, DeAndre Swift. He gets
a matchup sixteen on the button. Half point, Pep Yark
can help me out of the backfield as well, give
me some catches, give me some dump downs. And by

(22:39):
the way, he takes on the Patriot defense that is
ranked twenty six again stopping running backs to the run
this season. Give me a long touchdown by DeAndre Swift
to help me hit that number sixteen on the button
this week Bears Patriots.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
I like it. Here's my third and final play. The
Miami Dolphins go across the country to take on the
Los Angeles Rams. Rams are a one point favor The
total is fifty point five points. I am fully in
on the Rams now as they seem to have figured
it out turned the corner. They got a three game

(23:14):
win streak going on. They beat the Raiders, they beat
the Vikings, and then they beat the Seahawks in overtime
in Seattle. Meanwhile, the Dolphins finally get to a back.
They can't beat the Bills. They are a three game
losing streak. The only team they've beaten in recent history
was the New England Patriots that was fifteen to ten.
I know that the Dolphins are a better team with Tua,

(23:35):
and the more Tuap proves that he's comfortable out there,
the better they're going to get. I'm not disputing them.
I like the Rams in this game minus one. I
like them because I think Matthew Stafford is playing inspired football.
Jared Verse has finally kind of turned that corner. And
by turning that corner, I mean around the tackle, headed

(23:55):
towards your quarterback. I think the Rams win this game.
I'd like the I love the over. I feel like
this is an over you just can't lose on. I
feel like if the Dolphins win this game, it's gonna
be a high scoring game. I feel like the Rams
Sean McVay is probably looking over at that podhead McDaniel going, hey,
you think you invented offense. You merely inherited offense. I

(24:18):
invented it. I was born to it. McVay, the Rams,
I would take them flat out. But I love the
over and I ain't here to take non locks in
my brain and it's in my brain. I love the
over over fifty and a half points.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
You know, there's something that gets to be excited about
this segment, especially when it's fantasy football and wagering. But
there's something special about waiting for a Monday night when
you've got a wager on the line, whether it's that
over in fantasy and you're hoping for a shootout and
back and forth in fantasy, whether Levac if it ends
up being your C four plays, well, we know what's
your fantasy for ISRAELI play now. There is something special
about having a hot weekend of coming down to a

(24:55):
Monday night football over. My final play here, I've been
so good with tight I can't find what I like
this week. I was twenty minutes ago I had a
different pick. My pick was going to be Ray Ray
McCleod for the Atlanta Falcons. Drake Londons deal with that injury.
Mcloud's getting some targets. Hear the red zone. His number

(25:15):
is way too low. This felt like one of these,
like Chase Brown last week that was gonna change. I've
gone off of this now. I can't ignore the number.
I said it to you in the last segment. I'm
audibly oh baha, omaha, I gotta take my leak. Neighbors
like the numbers too good. Fifteen point two is the

(25:35):
number he's gonna sit at. Fifteen point three. Fifteen point
three is the number he's gonna sit at. Constantly targeted
by Daniel Jones trying to find the big play bouncing
back from a concussion, the Panthers allowing close to two
hundred and forty yards passing her game twenty fifth in
the league, also eighteen receiving touchdowns twenty ninth in the league.

(25:58):
The Panthers can't stop the PA. Daniel Jones has to
have a big game, but it's more about the number.
For the second time again, you're a fantasy football player,
You've got to play this matchup from elite Neighbors you're
telling me Jamar Chase, who had a record game, and
Justin Jefferson are the only two NFL wide receivers who
we believe we're gonna have a bigger game than Elak Neighbors.

(26:19):
And he's injured, but not really. I can't ignore it,
elite Neighbors. I gotta take that number this week on
you what one more time? Fifteen point three? How bad
is my math? Eleven point eight plus three point five?
Fifteen point three is the number? You?

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Sure you good?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (26:37):
All right?

Speaker 1 (26:37):
I believe it's that high.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Time for a recap by three plays against the spread.
I'm starting nine to thirty am on Sunday with the
New York Football Giants. I'm laying the six and a half.
The spread doesn't really make a ton of sense to me.
It should be a favorite, but maybe a three and
a half point favorite. Six and a half feels like
you're asking me to go with the Panthers. I don't
do what I'm told. Then, the Jets laying two points

(27:00):
in the desert at Arizona. It's pretty staky right there.
I'll take a whift and I'll move on with hopefully
my second w finally points points give me points. Monday
Night football Rams Dolphins over fifty and a half points.
I think this thing is gonna be very high scoring,
maybe even overtime. Maybe gets decided them. Maybe it's like
twenty four to twenty four, and then overtime we get

(27:22):
our over.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
My place quarterback Justin Herbert against the Tennessee Titans, who
have been really good against the past. He shocks everybody
with a huge performance. Fifteen point fives the number for
Herbert DeAndre Swift. He's the man we think for the
Bears in the backfield. Has a big game against the Patriots.
Sixteen flat on the number I'm getting and I audible
at the last second off Ray Ray McCloud. I don't
know how many other people are just mating between Ray

(27:45):
Ray McLoud.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
For any time. Touchdown now just because.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
You walked off him, Neighbors fifteen point three against the Panthers.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Very cool. That is fantasy versus reality. It's brought to
you by our good friends at Hooters. Hooters on Wolf Road,
seventy Wolf Road in Colony. As a matter of fact,
great place to enjoy yourself. Tons of television screens you
can watch all the games and of course the wonderful, beautiful,
festive Hooters girls there to bring you wings, specials like
Wingsday on Wednesday, sandwiches, everything they even there is actually

(28:17):
a kids man, you know that. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Sit up, Levac, you beat me to it.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Us Gon say, you know how tough it is sometimes
in the Capitol region to find somewhere you want to
take your kids that actually is affordable, a.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Good bang for your buck.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Bring your kids to Hooters, to make sure, to say,
and we can have that affordable drink and food and
have all the kids enjoy the things as well, and
can watch TV.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
And that's the place for fight Night.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
By the way, this time next week we're gonna get
Paul versus Tyson. Finally the weight's gonna be over. And
then on Saturday inside Madison Square Garden, John Jones's back
stick taking on Steep Bay Hooters is Fight Nights. How
about that? Thursday, make it a whole Hooters week. Wednesday,
all you can eat wings, Thursday, bring the family, Friday,

(28:56):
and Saturday bring your boys to watch the fight. A
four day Hooters night. A fortnite, I have.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
A Fortnite of Wings. I'm down for that. Let's make
that happen. By the way, Radio Cloud is plus two
to ten anytime touchdown. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm in.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
I'm in.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Thank you doing.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Thank you to Hooters for getting us to the Big Game.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Yeah, the road to Radio Row. We're gonna cover Radio
Row for the Big Game in Niland's thanks to Hooters
and our friends at McGregor Lanks. But Hooters of course Boston.
Dan might even become our on site producer. That's how
much Hooters is helping us out get this done. Very excited.
Thanks you. I'm actually probably gonna go to Hooters a
little while. I mean perfectly honest with It's Friday night.

(29:40):
I feel like a couple of wings, nice cold beverage
and some lovely company. What could go wrong? You know
what can go wrong?

Speaker 1 (29:47):
I love Fantasy Versary and I love Hooters. I love
the Big Game. I love football all right, I love
lamp Did you did you invite me to a party?
In your pants?

Speaker 2 (29:57):
All right? Play of the Day, which I just gave
you three play today is coming up next right here.
It's Fox Sports Radio ninety five, nine and nine eighty.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
It's love Acking Guz on the Voice of the Capitol
Regions Sports Fan Fox Sports ninety five, nine and nine eighty.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Before we get to the plight of the day, which
is brought to our good friends at Mohawks Chevrolet. Together,
let's drive at Malwok Chevy, where they always go out
of their way to please you.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
I've I've been I've been watching Jeopardy again. I love Jeopardy.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I feel like it's like great brain exercise. I would
if if I was gonna be on a game show
that was like boom or bust for me, like I
was either going to show off and be awesome or
just looks like a total moron, It's Jeopardy, and I
would do it. I would take the risk. Did you
did you happen to see there was a very famous
clue that came out of last night that people are
kicking around.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
I did not. And not only did I not see it,
I have a quick follow up here to Jeopardy. Is
the host Ken Jennings?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Is miam Bialick or am i am bi Alick still
on there?

Speaker 2 (30:57):
I think she's like a special time, like when he's
out or if they do something different. I don't think
she's on everyone anymore. I only see him. I don't
get to watch it every night. I catch it occasionally.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
What a wild thing that was that he was gonna
be the host, but then the producer hired himself and
people flipped out. He's like, I want to host jeopard
he hired himself and then they just never announced the host. Right,
he just is doing It's just stayed away far as
I know, that's the way it avoid.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
I think someone said that he might have to be careful. Now,
Oh a chance Jason Kelsey will beat him up. Last
night two hundred dollars clue. Ken Jennings quote, are you
smarter than a celebrity? Is hosted by this man who's
maybe more famous as a boyfriend than as a three

(31:42):
time super Bowl champion? Ooh, who is mister Taylor Swift?
Travis kelcey. That's awful? What a mean? Who wrote that?
And there's definitely Raiders fans working for Jeff that's ow ow.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
As much as that was a little cruel, As much
as that was a little bean, what I've noticed that
maybe it's just the viral videos and my algorithm and people,
it seemed.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Like the contestants on Jeopardy.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Are for far less likely to get the sports themed questions, right,
they left every hint on that one. If they said
who's the starting tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs
the Super Bowl defending champions and going for the I
don't know if.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
They get it.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Who wears number eighty seven for the Chiefs. I'm not
sure if they I'm not even sure if they would
have got who's Taylor Swift's boyfriend? Because they could have
said Jason or Travis. That's that's a little too much.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
That's I mean, it's it's phenomenal. It's again as like
as a Raider fan. How like if they told me, like,
all right, go ahead, trollo wab, like all right, here
you go, I would wrote that the only better one
wove been this person who has won three Super Bowls.
Also sounds like Kermit the Frog.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Yeah, this person has a dumb haircut in place for
the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Oh is it Mahomes?

Speaker 2 (33:05):
No?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Is it Kelsey?

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Nor is it Steel?

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Carson Steel?

Speaker 1 (33:09):
Have you seen Carson Steel? Yeah, that's a good looking guy.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Man. No, come on, I don't fall for that. That
guy is a good looking man. So you just just
give me just a tall blonde and you're in huh.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Well, Carson Steel right now, that guy should retire from football.
I couldn't get over that. He's got a good looking family.
Look at this kid. That's a model right there. Look
at he looks like Thoor. He does not look like thor.
His he's his nose is too big. It's a good
looking guy, right, that's not a good looking that's come on,
we had long hair. You gave that dude a brush cut,

(33:41):
you would not be into him. We gotta get some
female perspective on Carson Steel. I saw him do an
interview two weeks.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
You know, we can't just be guys talking about can't
we can't do dudes on dudes. We can't steal the
Julian Edelman Rob Grenkowski show.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Isn't that what they do? They just talked about.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Thought was that, Yeah, that makes sense? Dudes on dudes.
I mean, he's alright looking, he's not like I don't know,
he's just not my type.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
I guess, right.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
I mean, if you just get like every like blonde
haired dude, you're gonna be in on. I mean, whatever
that's for you, it's not for me.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
Again, we were commenting on how Jeopardy would be cruel
to people We then gave compliments for those listening back
to this, We were offering compliments to the chiefs.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Yeah, that's all. It was.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
What her name too, Carson Steele. That's an actor's name.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
Cat, That's that's a specific kind of actor's name. What
do you mean that's not like, like, Carson Steel is
not going to be the next you know, action hero,
but maybe like a delivery guy. I mean, like maybe
a plumber.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
I mean I could see him being like Iron Man,
you know.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Maybe like a step son. What are the other famous
porn roles that I haven't said yet that would get
you cued in to what I'm saying about Carson Steel?

Speaker 1 (35:07):
And I knew where you were going, but I just
gonna try to do superheroes and then you play puns
off of it. Then I thought, you know, just say
just say pizza delivery guy.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Yeah, anybody order?

Speaker 1 (35:22):
No, I just uh, he's not. That's not that's not
gonna work for me. It's not gonna know for me.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
Dog, Well, these things work for you.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Let's transition away from what Carson Steel's life could be
to the state of Utah.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Is Utah takes on BYU.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
And they will never Google Carson Steel or any of
his former work. I don't want to be trapped on
this game here because I should know better. I should
know see this is the thing, and I'm very fascinated
by your take here. This is the player to that.
Thanks to Mohawks, Everley and you listening. If you like
to invest in games and find ways, this might be
one of your favorite segments of the day. Here's what's
happening in college football this year. The old thing was

(35:56):
that you want a team getting points, a dog at
home getting points.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
Nothing better than that, And a.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
Lot of people do love that play because the upsets
in college and the teenagers get involved in the emotion
and even at times the referees get caught up in this.
We got the Holy War Baby BYU in Utah BYUS undefeated,
top ten in the country, a pack to win the
Big twelve. Utah stinks Cam rising as an adult and
he might come back for a seventh year. They had

(36:21):
nobody besides him under but BYU is only a three
point favorite. I feel like you gotta play Utah here.
But that hasn't hit as much this season of that.
Am I wild that a season has shown that the
home it should be the dogs at home have not hit.
Should I use those trends each time in a season

(36:42):
or evaluate each game separately.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
They should be part of your evaluation, not all of it.
That's what they should be. Okay, yeah? Does that help that?

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Plus rivalry games, how often, if at all, do you
touch that? Because a rivalry game like this, it feels
like weird thing happen. Am I watching the game ten
to fifteen on a Saturday is probably in my wheelhouse?

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Then I'm betting it. Yeah, it's happening.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
I will take Utah. Then I will take Utah with
the points. And here's my other two theories. Here's my
three college ballplayers. I will take Utah with the points.
We'll go to Florida Texas for this one. I tease
this earlier in the week. You mentioned in the top
four to four Texas a twenty one slash twenty one
and a half whatever, that'll close in point favorite over
under forty seven and a half. I don't know if
the quarterback is gonna play for Florida. Does Texas really

(37:31):
want to go full steam ahead against a four and
four Gator team? Do they want to put everything out there?
I feel like Florida does everything possible to stay in
this game, including barely snap the football on time. I
love the under in Texas, Florida because of the the
announcement of Bill Napier is not going anywhere.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
I call them bills.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
That of Billy. He's not he's not believing leaving. No,
it's not believable. I love the under in that game.
Does that make sense? Here's the new segment? Does this
make sense? With Goss saying wild things into a microphone,
which has been the glue of the show for years?
What do you want from me?

Speaker 1 (38:09):
All right?

Speaker 2 (38:09):
You want my play of the day? You got another?

Speaker 3 (38:12):
I tease this one. Georgia old miss.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Old miss once not old miss? Old miss? Did a
d get thrown in there?

Speaker 1 (38:21):
It's still you know what? Now it's old miss now
it is old miss.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
For these conversations have been going to that. I want
to leave.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
This is why we're not allowed in studio on a Friday.
They kept us out of here for four and a
half months.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
And I drank my lunch. I mean what old.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
Miss old an e?

Speaker 1 (38:37):
So we spend is that home at the grove Oxford
taking on Georgia Georgia two and a half point favorite.
I'm going to play Georgia. But I'm myself now because
I told you earlier in the week. My parley went
down one hundred bucks. Georgia did not look good against
Florida Old Missus never had that big win since the
Katie Perry College Game day game. Lane Kiffin, this can

(38:59):
be his game. I'm going to take talent over talent.
I'm gonna take Georgia. It feels like a mistake firing
off against Georgia on Georgia. Am I wrong about this one?
Like that stuff with Lane Kiffin. You're a former, You're
a Raider fan, Kiffin's a former coach. What is your
feeling on Lane Kiffin? Do you like firing wagers against
people you don't like?

Speaker 3 (39:18):
Because this would be a.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Spot as I like Lin Kifvin. I've always liked Lane Kiffin.
I think he was I don't think he was the
right guy for the job at the time. I think
he's I think he's a heck of a coach. I
like his attitude. I like the way he handles his business.
I do I'm a I'm a yeah, no, So I
can't answer that question.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
I like him, Okay, those are my plays.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
He's basically like, if you ordered John Gruden from TIMU,
that's what you get to be a thing. I'll tell
you what me knock on wood if you had me.
So what if I told you that a wide receiver
was dominating the NFL until he got hurt, went on

(39:57):
the ir and is now returning, you would think that
dude's gonna have a good game, right, Yes, Nico Collins
is at practice for the Texans and he will play
Sunday against the Lions. I believe it is a smart
play at plus two thirty to take Nico Collins anytime touchdown.

(40:24):
I also think it's worth a little a little fun
money at plus one thousand for first touchdowns. Nico Collins
will get in the end zone this Sunday, and if
he's the first one of the end zone, I'm gonna
get paid. So my play of the day is Nico
Collins anytime touchdown. And then if you're feeling frisky first touchdown.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
You and I have both become fans of Nico Collins.
There was a conversation, Ullo, where do.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
You play college?

Speaker 1 (40:54):
I thought he got thrown off the team in Ohio
State or Michigan.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
One of those played for Michigan.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
He had issues, but he didn't he was I've been
a Nico Collins fan. Okay, I didn't become a Nico
Collins fan. I've been a Nico Collins fan. So so
you you watch you watch your mouth when you're talking
to me about number four from Michigan Collins. Yeah, you better.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
He's a very good player.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
I knew that. I hope he does well. I hope
he scores the first touchdown of the game. That's how
much I like him. Not over here, you know, riding
the fence like you your plays of the day. Thanks
to our friends at Mohawks Chevrolet. Together, let's drive in
Mark Chevy where they always go out of their way

(41:46):
to please you. I just real quick, did you did
you see that Uncle Steve's already planning his his his
approach of Juan Soto. I just keep forgetting to bring up.
I meant to bring it up earlier today, Like the
Mets are so dialed in on Soto that like, I
think they've got a scheduled meeting in Cali next week.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
I've heard rumors about this. Here's why I think it's
more truth than rumor. I've been reading some reports and
I know I did this in the last two off
seasons because they just get wilder and wilder. He can't
turn that off, Steve Cohen, like this is his drug,
his competition in business. Him saying there is no price
that I won't pay. This is his favorite thing.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
Like you used to joke.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Around with this with our former boss that he loved
to negotiate, like that was the thing he got out
of the job the best, Like I'll go this, I
go back.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
That's his thrill.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
This is Steve Cohen's world series going for this type
of bidding situation.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
Yeah, and it's it. The plus side is I've been
watching and the Yankees have been checking in on Max
Freed and all these other guys. What Christian Walker gold
Glove first baseman for. You know, they're talking to all
these guys. Really see a scenario. While everyone's chasing Sodo,
they've already made their pitch, right, so it's already Soto, listen,

(43:06):
we love you. It's five hundred million dollars at the table.
What do you want to do? And then you know,
give us a call if you get a better offer.
And while everyone's chasing you. We've already talked to you,
We've already got you. You know, you know what you
have in New York. Meanwhile, we're just because even the
Reds have checked it on Sodo. Now, so the Yankees

(43:26):
running around going, Oh, Christian Walker, a gold glove first baseman,
thirty four years old next year. Huh huh? How would
you like to be in the Bronx, buddy? How would
you like that? You think you can bring your gold glove?
And I don't know why I'm talking like mad Dog
all of a sudden, No, I like it, mad Dog? Yeah,
Christian christ Jan, I said, why, asked his name?

Speaker 3 (43:47):
That's the check in voice, you know, because what does
the check in mean? Like I said?

Speaker 1 (43:51):
A direct message texted his agent.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Can you imagine? Can you imagine? All right, I'm Brian
Cashman and I'm checking in with Christian Walker. Hey, Christian up.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Breaky news. Levac is checking it on dua lipa.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Yeah, that's what did you see? Somebody wrote that somebody
the Reds are checking in on Wan Soda and the
guy some guy wrote, I'm checking in and Sonny Sweeney.
I also am checking out Sonny Sweeney. Hi, how you
doing any interest in a fat guy who talks sports
in albady nell yak kaya Han? How you doing, Sunnay?

(44:28):
I saw your new movie and oh, look is pretty
right now it's the time to strike.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
I think her name is Sydney, but it's funnier.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
For Oh no, sy Sweedtiy is a country star. I've
actually met her. Yeah, wait, she don't like me.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
There's a Sydney sweety.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
Yes, I'm sorry I didn't see Sydney earlier.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
