It's Lovak and guys on the voiceof the Capitol Regions Sports Fan Fox Sports
ninety five and nine eighty live inthe Traveling GT Toys studio. It is
Leavak and guys, and we arevery happy to be here. Toys with
a Z of course, is thename of Suel for me today, Guys,

(00:27):
I'm on the field here at MVPArena. That's it's it's weird that
you're not here with me. Whatare you doing? I thought you were
to hang out with me. Iwas going to and then I decided not
to. Life got busy, stationgot busy. We got a lot of
stuff going on in iheartworld. Igot some stuff going Uh. The oldest
one decided he was gonna have afever today and decide not to check into

(00:48):
preschool. It's been a wild fewhours, not as stressful as you and
other coaches in the Capitol Read youwere to talk to today, but you
were there on site. I gotsome pictures from you. It is an
awesome scene. If you are aCampital to Read sports fan, make sure
you're a part of this event. It looks great. Cannot wait for five
winning fantasy. What's going on overthe course of the next few days to
get hyped about all the great localsports on the way. Yeah, we've

(01:11):
got the field is down. We'restill doing a couple alterations make sure everything's
perfect per game day, but thefield is down, the roster is is
finalized. Coach will join us ina little bit see what we get out
of them a little early before FlockUniversity today, which again you can hear
right here on Fox Sports Radio nineevery Saturday morning at nine am. Thanks

(01:37):
for our friends at belfour Property Restoration. But dude, I'm telling you,
it's it's big, and the mascotis here. He is. He is
probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. And I'm not saying that just because
I was part of his development.Spike is his name? I don't know.
Yeah, you don't have to waitand find out. Sparkles is his

(02:00):
name? Okay, okay, likewas the name of the of the mascot
for the for the Firebirds back inthe nineties. Now this Spike return,
is it the return of Spike? You'll have to be here to find out,
or or is someone you know unseatedSpike is? Is the Spike now?
A modern day arena football we willfind out together the arena transminder Field.

(02:27):
By god, it's Mac and Jack'smusic. Good gott Olmighty, they've
been found. I told you,I'm I'm I'm seriously concerned about the well
being of our of the two emperors. I just, I just there's no
way. What is going computer? My computer is a rupting over here.
I apologize, it's it's been aday. Uh yeah, I'm worried about

(02:49):
Mac and Jack. I really reallyam. I just maybe maybe the new
mascot here will help us go findthe the old guys at some point and
see if we can, you know, the rendezvous get back together guys.
Last night, the New York Yankeesonly had one good inning as far as
offense goes, but it was allthey really needed, as they were able

(03:13):
to you know, break out earlyand then take down and keep down those
those vicious Oakland Athletics. I justfour runs in the first inning and everything
you needed right then and there.I know you just shave to hold on
and h and win this thing forthree. Uh, everyone's a good win.

(03:34):
Where are you sitting right now?As far as the Yankees go?
Forget the euro filthy Oriols fan whereare you ranking the New York Yanks right
now? You know you ask methat question, where am I sitting?
I thought the next few words weregonna be because war Pig's gonna spit all
over you about Blackburn the picture forthe Apes, and I'm like, no,
no, I'm behind a window.Even though we're usually in different spots
somewhere, I've closed the doors thatif you listen to our show and you

(03:55):
know Lovk goswell enough, there isa person who will stop by called war
and Warpig. Just a few weeksago, if you missed at Apple,
Spotify and the iHeart app for theon demand, he was trying to convince
us that Blackbird from the A's wasthe top three most valuable pitcher because of
War in baseball. If it's thesame person, if it's the same Blackbird

(04:15):
who pitches for the Oakland Athletics, that guy was not in the field last
night. That's not the same guyWarpig was spitting all over studio about.
So that's my takeaway that the nerdsdidn't have a day last night trying to
tell us who the best pitchers inbaseball were. That the Yankee offense is
better than the Oakland Athletics pitchers, even though Mason Miller, their closer,
stills throwing serious gas at one ohthree, we didn't get to see as

(04:36):
much of the highlight reel pitches likewe did earlier in the series. My
takeaway is that Oakland's got talent. They are not a bunch of bums.
I've heard the four eight comparison, and maybe we'll hear that later in the
show as well. They actually haveathletes on the field. But in a
game like that, maybe it's notabout numbers and dorks and war. Maybe

(04:57):
the Yankee offense is actually better thanwhat's Trott now out there for the Oakland
Athletics on the mound. Well,I do, I do think it's better.
I think that's why they were ableto get those four runs and hold
their ground. But I feel like, you know, I'm sure he can't
get he can't get that security MVParena right now or else. Warpig would
probably tell you that as bad asthat was, it was only one bad

(05:20):
inning that that Blackbird went on topitch five scoreless, So it's not like,
you know, it's not the samethat you can't I bet his war
wasn't even affected all that much.Don't do that. Don't do not side
with war Pig. What has happenedto you? I'm just I'm listening.
I'm just trying. I'm trying tosee different sides of things. Man,

(05:41):
Okay, it's a different world nowthan we're used to. We don't war
rules the world. It's it's yougot to keep in mind again, one
bad inning, that's all it was. I would love for that nerd war
Pig to somehow cut our connection rightnow and tell me that he actually is
more valuable now, beca because hegave up four runs in the first and
somehow his war went up. Whatwould they have done if they didn't have

(06:04):
four runs in the first five Idon't even want to hear. That's what
I looked at. Oakland's not totallyembarrassing. Oakland is a baseball team.
They beat the Yankees earlier in thisseries. That's what I had away from
that. Maybe he's a better picture, but that felt like stats to me.
How damn war Pig? Why didyou? Why do we could we
both just bash that nerd to openthe show? No, you wanted to

(06:27):
bring in more facts. Listen,I just I'm just putting it out there.
It's five scoreless. You know, the Yankees got those got the runs
they needed in one inning, andthen then he settled down. I mean,
you know, you've become a bigLuis Severino fan. He said,
a bad first inning, then hesettles down. Dester Kortez started to do
that. I don't know how onebad inning affects your war. I don't,

(06:49):
I don't. I don't do MAP. I was never I was ever
big MAP guy. Guys good, don't even waste your breath trying to do
the Yankees are. I'll go backto your original question, before I started
yelling at screaming about Warpick, thequestion was where do from where I sit,
where do I see the Yankees asa team now, not just in
the American League, but across MajorLeague Baseball. It is hard to make

(07:10):
an argument that there is a teamplaying better baseball in the American League than
the Yankees right now. Now,we'll eventually see that matchup. Maybe we'll
do something fun, Maybe we'll havesome wagers. I know that one's still
floating up in the air. Voultwe want to do in the season series
between Baltimore and New York. Butboth those teams are playing awesome. The
Orioles, again for the second time, have called up another prospect from Norfolk

(07:32):
to see what he can do inthe next level justin. No, they're
not punting on the season. They'renot desperate. Justin Latti's Cleveland Guardians.
Even our guy Ladda, who joinedus last week, is wondering, Hey,
we're not I know a Guardian fan. They're not gonna win one hundred
and twenty games, right, They'renot gonna like Cleveland's in that mix.
But New York is one of thetop teams in baseball. You know.

(07:55):
I'll even push it to the NationalLeague because the Dodgers have not played up
to the billion of the billion teamthey've been talked about as in Lanta and
Philly are awesome. So if wepower ranked, oh god, this is
gonna make me vomit. If wepower ranked the Yankees right now and someone
told me they're the best team inbaseball, I probably am not putting up
that much of a fight, butI'd like to put Baltimore at one in

(08:18):
the Yankee It's a coin flip forme right now between New York and Baltimore.
But my orange bias would put myo's on top. Well, who
they're half came back, How canyou put them on top? I mean,
that's that's not gonna be because theywere better last year and they're a
better team this year still. Imean, the Yankees are a better team
than the rest of history. Youknow, we're just going to talk about

(08:39):
last year. It doesn't matter.Here. Your team is. It's calling
out every every kid that's ever youknow, Warren an Oriel uniform and a
farm system begging for help to tryand keep up. Already it's you guys,
come off a little desk, great, come off, come off like
you're already starting to be a sinkingship. That's the vibe everyone else is
getting, is it? That's that'sthe vibe that they're cons I didn't feel

(09:01):
that there's a lot of there's alot of people like they're like, you
know what, if they were inthe West, I don't know if they'd
be a five hundred team and theywould be just in the Monk admirer with
Texas and Yeah, I don't know. I don't think people have said that.
I want to who are these peopleyou're talking about? I'd like to
talk to them personally. I liketo say I have a few issues with
them. I don't believe them.Baltimore will be good. That's that would
be. So that's for New York's. I can't be telling you everything.

(09:24):
You know, some of these peopledon't like to be on the you know,
the public. Look, but no, Yankees are have game ahead of
your Oriols. And the Oriols havealready you know, called them the troops.
They've already they've already rallied in theyoung talent to try and save them
and hasn't worked out. So I'mjust listening again. This is me.
I'm neutral, you know me,I could go either way. Oh right,

(09:45):
everyone and everyone that talks to meis like, hey, the Orioles
suck, you know, very neutral, no biases involved. Right, must
be where we Yeah, it mustbe where we're sitting today of what we're
getting the different vibes of these teams. Well, it's it's funny, like

(10:07):
I like, this whole day hasbeen one of those days where it's like
did we do this? Did wedo that? Did we do so?
Like I literally just like I'm textinguh coach where I just texted back on
something, and I was like, hey, what about this? He said,
Yeah, we definitely need that. It's it's been, it's exciting,
it's it's it's an exciting time righthere, you know, like you said,

(10:28):
it's like unlike the Orioles, andwe have a we have a roster
built, and we're not calling forhelp every every other game. So yeah,
it's an odd way. I don'tknow what's wrong with that connection over
there. And I'm not talking realisticconnection, but an actual i''m bother with
it. I listen, man,I'm having a good time. That's all.
It's all the is too. Yougot you gotta have a good time
with these things, guys. Soyeah, so the Yankees they get to

(10:52):
w last night. They played theA's again this evening. It does the
one thing I and this could bewishful thinking for me. It kind of
looks like Judges coming around finally, like we might finally see the real Aaron
Judge out there. You know,he gets ahead, but the basket a
little quicker. He looks he's startingto look a little more like Karen Judge.
Maybe the booing woke him up.I wonder about that with Judge.

(11:20):
There are some players that would probablybe affected by the booing, and you're
right, would wake them up,would spark something. I want to say.
The answer is yes, that thelack of production spark something in Judge.
The reason I hesitate on that anddon't feel strong about that is because
if that is the answer, Ifthat's the reason why, there are a
lot of athletes, maybe even morethan fifty percent of athletes that if they

(11:43):
were to ask that question in aNew York post game, they would give
you a sound bite that would makeheadlines twenty twenty four. Athletes would be
like, yeah, and it tickedme off. I can't believe our home
fans would boot was like that. You guys gave up on me, you
were quit. There are some athleteswho would take the booing so personal,
and we've heard tons of athletes acrosssports that it would be our lead of

(12:05):
our show today. We probably couldhave done three. That's the problem.
I don't know if Aaron Judge isgoing to give a headline answer about the
fans booing him. I would befairly confident to say he won't. I
wish he would. It would makemy answer very easy to do right now.
So that's why I struggle with that. I think I feel like most
athletes are motivated by poor play andthey want to improve, So all say

(12:28):
yes, But the actual booing howmuch did it personally affect Judge? I
don't think I'll ever know the answerto that question unless he breaks his character
and gives us an awesome sound bite. Well yeah, I mean, and
that's He's not He'll never do that, probably, but it is, is
it? Maybe it's just timing. It feels weird because he has always been

(12:50):
so solid, such a strong partof the roster, if not the strongest
part of the roster. That watchinghim struggle and watching Soto be good and
Bolt Babe Good and the young guysall come out and look really solid,
you know, Oswaldo and everybody,it's it is. It is weird,
but it is. It's also kindof fun to watch him be calm about

(13:11):
it, because ultimately that's what's gonnayou know, bringing out and we start
getting frantic, let it eat atyou. It's never gonna turn around.
It looks like it is turning aroundfor the big fellow, Aaron Judge.
So hopefully that is the case, and maybe just maybe that'll factor in to
my play of the day today.Guys, there's a little maybe there's a
little judgment day coming your way.Nice little tease there. I like it.

you feel about the news that ReggieBush is in fact getting his he's been

(20:11):
back. I am absolutely shocked, truly shocked that this happened today. This
had been talked about for years, and this is not the first time you
and I have talked about the Bushthing, but this had been one of
these things on the sports list ofif you were the sports commissioner of all
sports for a day, what wouldyou want to change? And not just

(20:33):
you and I look back like youlistening right now, you might have had
this conversation with your friends and you'veheard of it before, like this was
the top the list for people likegive Reggie the Heisman back. Reggie didn't
do anything wrong, the rules havechanged, give him his Heisman Trophy back.
I'm shocked that this happened. AndI have to explain a little bit
more because some people may still notunderstand what's going on here. This is
really important to remember. The NCDouble A in the Heisman Trophy are not

(20:59):
connected. Did The Heisman Trophy isits own thing. It's truly not even
an NC Double A award, althoughit rewards a player who plays in college
football. The Heisman Trophy is abusiness. It has an LLC, it
has a charity. It like itis its own thing. Well, Espiana,
here's the Highstman Trophy ceremony. Yeah, they pay for the airtime because
of their car dealership deal they havewith its sponsor. Like, the Heisman

(21:22):
Trophy is its own thing, Soit's not like the nc double A had
to give clearance for the Heisman Trophyto do anything. The Heisman Trophy can
do whatever it wants. It canchange its rules, it can kick me
out of voting, it can haveone person. They can do whatever they
want. It's their own thing. So I'm shocked they decided to make this
move today because they're sort of likethe Masters, because the Masters is like

(21:44):
very highbrow and look at us.It's about tradition and prestige, and we
would never want to soil the nameof Augusta. The Heisman comes off like
that a little bit in the historythe pageantry, talking about it all the
time. Never want to be caughtup in controversy the award and maybe all
of American sports. I'm shocked, and they just said, you know what,
let's just give him back his word. It felt like they pressured and

(22:07):
crunched the public opinion and they wantedthe Heisman to be cool. They're like,
no, no, no, wedon't want to be a weird guy.
We don't want people to say howawful this. Let's just this is
hurting our brand in business. Let'sjust give the guy his trophy back.
That's that's how I feel about it. And I'm very honored and privileged to
vote for the Heisman. And I'mhoping not to take off anybody because I'd
like to stay out. But itfeels like they're just like, hey,

(22:29):
you guys are being mean. Wehear it, we hear it. We
want to make everybody happy. Here'syour trophy back. It's they did the
right thing, guys. This isthe right thing. It was, as
they put it, the formal reinstatementof the trophy because of quote enormous changes
in the college football landscape. LikeI love that they did this. I've

(22:49):
never you know me man, LikeI understood why at the time they felt
like they needed to take the trophyeven though it made no sense to me.
I hope that they reinstated all hisrecords now. Like, as you
mentioned, the Heisman committee is verydifferent from the NCAA. But I would
love, love, love love NCAAnow followed in sou and put his stuff

(23:12):
back out there, all his records, all his all his you know stats.
Because I saw it happen. Youcan't erase it from my mind.
I saw it. I enjoyed it. It was fun. I saw that
he embedded the Touchbush. I mean, come on, man, he deserved
his heismand back. You for oneshould be thrilled. And an organization that

(23:33):
you get the vote and they representis finally doing the right thing. You
should be thrilled today to be amember of the heismand process. Uh.
Here's why I'm nervous about that lastcomment about the Heisman process. What makes
me selfishly a Heisman Trophy voter inthe Capital region going on year ten,
which is remarkable to say, I'msuper proud of that, is that if

(23:56):
the Heisman Trophy is willing to makechange that reflect the future in a better
interest for the trophy and all thoseother things, I wouldn't be shocked if
they changed the voting. And whatI mean by that is like, right
now, a lot of people votefor the Heisman, I believe at last
count, and I'm not even jokingwhen I give the number. I believe
eight hundred and sixty people vote forthe Heisman Trophy, which sounds like an

(24:21):
outrageous number, and maybe it isout loud I'm thinking about it. But
there's representatives of regions and just againFlorida, like there's two reps from Tampa
and Jacksonville and Tallahassee. They spreadit off across the state, so there's
not bias. That's why there's somany voters. So I'm a little nervous
selfishly that if they're gonna change stuffwith the Heinsman, I might get kicked

(24:41):
out. But but here's the problemwith that. It's a stretch. Stretch
them doing the right thing should notmean that you get kicked out. You
should be thrilled because the right thingis like someone who is as passionate as
you are have a vote, eventhough I often disagree with you both think

(25:02):
it sucks, they're doing the rightthing. You should be thrilled it should
you shouldn't take it? Do youthink you're the wrong thing? Is that?
Is that where we are? Guys? Is it wrong? No?
No, no, no, nono no. Although I think my resume
can hold up with other people, that's not so much about it. I
want to go back to the thingyou said about right thing and wrong thing
about Reggie Bush. Though the comparisonI've used before for this, I don't
know think the comparison has changed overthe years. It's a little bit more

(25:26):
serious and more intense. But it'slike drugs in America. Like, if
you got busted selling weed twenty fiveyears ago, you might have served some
time in jail. You might havegone to jail. Hey, you slung
a bunch of weed, a bunchof pounds. It's illegal to do that.
You're a drug dealer. You're gonnago serve some time. And then
all of a sudden, twenty yearsgoes by, and it's like you were

(25:48):
doing what I mean, we don'treally care about that anymore. But no,
no, no, you committed tocrime. Like you committed a crime.
Those are the rules. They changedthe rules. Yeah they were stupid,
but that doesn't mean what you didwasn't against the law. And that's
the part of I struggle with ReggieBush. Should they have originally let him
keep the Heinsman and everything else thatwas going on. I've stuck by that
point, Like, again, youguys aren't associated with the NCAA. You

(26:11):
guys can do what you want.I don't know who was behind it was
screaming to get rid of his husband. I'm assuming it was Big Jay journalists
and newspaper writers. Back then theywere screaming to take it away. But
he broke the rules, and nowthe rules have changed. Were like,
you know what, everybody's breaking themnow, Yeah, go ahead whatever.
I mean, that's really what theyput out today. They're like college football's

(26:32):
changed, So here you go.Mark Norman the comedian, has a great,
big kind of revolve around what you'resaying. Like he'll ask the crowd
as anybody smoke, and they rippingthoughts out there, and then like if
anybody cheers, He's like, wow, now maybe we'll do He used to
be lead was bad. Now lead'son the come up. Everybody can do
that. Everybody's talking about that smokinglike it's kind of like where you're at.

(26:52):
I think it wrong? Was right? I really do. It's just
do you think that when Reggie Bushtook money or his family took money,
or however, that I can actuallyfeel the exact letter of how it went
down. Do you think that waswrong? Or do you think that college
athletes should have always been competentated fortheir greatness and what they bring to a

(27:15):
team. How dare you how dareyou know me well enough that I have
now been trapped into one of yourquestions? This is unfair. Who's listening?
This is unfair? Okay, I'vebeen trapped by my co host here
to scenario? What is it?The old what are those like finger trapped
things used to have? And nowyou've put them both in And yeah,
that's right, I'm a fish.Yes, is obviously the answer to my

(27:37):
question. You've just asked me ifdo I think college athletes should have been
Absolutely do I think Reggie Bush shouldhave been compensated. He might have been
the level of Johnny Manzel and others. And you know what I brought up
Manzel, and that's the problem. You know, I actually think Manziel does
play a factor in this. BecauseJohnny Manzel has gone on Netflix and Johnny
Manziel has gone on every podcast. You can imagine it flat out admitted like,

(28:00):
yeah, I got paid, Igot paid. I got paid a
bunch of money. The Heisman trophyhad been like come on, Johnny,
I mean we suspended Reggie Bush,we took his heisman. Oh, you're
just admitting you got paid. Nowwhat are we supposed to all right?
Just just give his trophy back, please, Bryce Young's getting paid, Caleb
Williams is getting paid. Just giveit to him back. Yes, do

(28:21):
I think you should have been compensated? Absolutely? Are there other crimes that
could have been committed? Sure? And crime is even a strong word there.
A lot of people say, likethe integrity of the game, that
actually factors into what you do whenyou vote for the Hidsmand Trophy. He
was an eligible athlete, although he'sruled in eligible. Yeah, I do
think they should have been paid.I do think it was a stupid rule,
but rules or rules vac well. Now the rule is that he gets

(28:45):
his as it always should have been. I love it, man, Look,
I do. I think it's Ithink it's a sign of what was
right again. And you guys thinkabout it this way as well. People
are gonna look back on history andthey're gonna say, why was it number
five in all these record books? Why doesn't number five have his Heisland Trophy

(29:06):
from USC And now you can putall those things back, and after a
year or two, everyone will lookback and be like, man, Reggie
Bush, that was a special player. He was a special dude, he
is. And then somebody would somecrimadgon like you. Everybody wrote the groups
and everybody like you shouldn't be gettingpaid all on. He probably sold.

(29:27):
There was probably more number five USCjerseys all over the world being sold and
bought and enjoyed. And you know, here's this guy. He could barely
feed his family, you know whatever. I don't know where he comes from
historically background, but now we getto look back on history the right way.

(29:48):
Reggie Bush has his trophy. Youbaby get to vote for it still,
you know, if they realize you'reokay. And that's that. I
do love that part and I'm gladthat we knew the history of that.
Don't know how many people actually fllowedthat part. You mentioned there about the
five that there are articles out fromearlier this year, from years past where
it actually says there's like a Heismantrophy spot at the coliseum at USC.

(30:12):
He's been a vacuum, yes thathe he can go in there now,
like nobody has worn the number fiveat USC since Reggie Bush, but his
numbers not retired. And Reggie Bushjust flat out came out and said it,
like, Hey, I don't wantmy number retired. I don't want
these honors. I don't want tobe included in the Heisman land. I

(30:33):
guess i'll call it for lack ofa better term here, but you know
the spot where it is that theUFC that I don't want it there until
I get my heisman back. Likeif I'm a Heisman Trophy winner, put
me where the heisman is. Butif I'm not, don't so because his
heisman's been returned. I think that'sall very likely that the five will be
put out there. It probably willbe the most emotional Heisman Trophy retirement ceremony
if anybody could think, in mostrecent times, involving stuff that happened off

(30:56):
the field. So yeah, likeall that's happen, the five will be
retired, the Heisman and all,and back to which you said a few
minutes ago too. There are somepeople listening to the show, and it's
gonna make you and I both feelold right now that may not remember Reggie
Bush like they don't remember what hewas at USC. He was the most

(31:17):
electrifinal. He's a wrestling term here, the most electrifying football player I have
ever seen in my lifetime in collegefootball. Lamar Jackson's in that mix.
He's the best player I ever sawin person against Syracuse, but maybe ever.
I love Johnny Manziel, Tim Tebow, All of these guys who are
quarterbacks were incredible athletes. But ReggieBush, from running back to receiver,

(31:38):
out of the backfield, to puntreturns to kick returns, he is the
only person who would get a footballin his hands, and I would think
every time he's gonna score. Nobody'seven close to this guy. It was
such a runaway with the Heinsman itwasn't even an argument that he was the
best player in the country. Andfor younger fans one more time, he
was so good that it was shockingthat he was not the number one pick

(32:01):
overall in the NFL draft. Andhe's a running back. People would laugh
you out of the building. Nowin twenty twenty four, if you said
a running backs going number one overall, people were stunned that it was Mario
Williams. Well, yeah, Istill I think Mario Williams was stunned.
It didn't Mario Williams sit there withlike a stun look on his face.

(32:22):
It didn't even like you didn't getup right away, like he got drafted.
And then the next thing you know, he's like, oh me,
like even he didn't think it shouldhave been hit. It was a crazy
moment when that happened. Of like, there were rumors that he'd agreed on
the contract and what you're referencing to. It's like, you mean the contracts
going to me right like not waitwait, what are you sure? It's

(32:44):
just it was such a dune.I believe it happened like on a Wednesday,
like the day before the draft. If it was social media time,
then people would have thought it wasa catfish situation. Absolutely, guys,
I have we've got this big eventhere tonight, and I see Nate.

as the Firebers would kick off thisseason this Saturday eight o'clock, and then
of course the fire Wolves will havetheir first home playoff game or first playoff
game that would be on Sunday afternoon. Before we go on other stuff,

(41:02):
I guess we probably should talk aboutwhat the what the biggest rumor and scuttle
bunch around the games seen? Uh? Are you talking about the social media
drama? Am I picking up youryour cleueer leaving here involved in the scuttle
But is that what you're just referencinghere where you'd be able to watch?

(41:24):
Right? Okay, hang on,let let me explain it to some people
who might not know what Lavac's talkingabout. There are some rumors floating around
the internet, and I'm stunned.I cannot believe this. Many people in
the year twenty twenty four care aboutthis stuff. But the rumor is that
on the NFL network schedule on theirwebsite, not your television site, not

(41:46):
from the people who run the team, not from the but people's websites are
not updated reflecting what game is goingto air four days from now, three
days from now, whatever you wantthat because it's not all there yet.
It's not gonna happen. That's whatwe're talking about. Yeah, yeah,
I've seen a lot of it actuallywell, and it's it is weird because

(42:07):
like everybody keeps asking me, like, why was the game taken off the
NFL network schedule on NFL network dotcom? But I don't know that everyone
on. To be perfectly honest withyou, I don't I never went and
looked. We had a conversation withthe league, with the NFL network,
given we ready to do the game, So that was it. Now,

(42:30):
if you look at who were anydid the provider there is it is more
one percent there. You can seethat it's available for you to see that
we're going to be there. Butit's just Yeah, people are freaking out
about it, and it's I thinkit's because there's a lot of people who
are afraid of what the AFL couldbe and will be. I think there's
a lot of people who see thenew eight hundred pound gorilla in the room

(42:53):
and they're hoping for any weakness fromit, and it doesn't. It kind
of makes me feel good. Itmakes me feel like they know who and
what we are about to be.Yeah, and also for the people that
are stressing out about this stuff.Just to offer the Tommy Corporate programmer perspective,
when it comes to posting schedules onwebsites, Ken shotts somewhere thinking like,

(43:15):
oh baby, this is my moment. I can't wait to hear what's
God's gonna give me. There aretimes where you do a join in progress
and you don't want to put joinin progress on the website because people get
confused, and then you have waysin which your clock bite people are so
like it's almost a situation like let'ssay, for instance, and this could
realistically happen. Okay, let's saythe NFL draft ends it eight point fifteen,

(43:39):
and you wrote on the schedule thatthe Empire, excuse me, the
Firebird game against the Predators. Who'sgoing to start at eight? Oh my
god, the schedules said eight.Where's the game? Ball? Like,
you get those people and you think, like gods, there's no way people,
Oh my gosh, there are peoplewho do that. So either you
post it, either you say joinin progress, or I don't think this

(44:02):
is a secret to sports fans towatching the NFL network. The NFL Total
Access Show is kind of like thePhil Show. Like I guess for people
who might be more familiar with othershows like a highlight reel show, they
can cut into at any point, they'll be fine and flipping somewhere else,
like it's not that big of adeal. But the internet's telling me something
different today. And maybe you're right. Maybe people are rooting against the AFL,

(44:22):
the failed and stuff like that. They want to find any little thing
because even if you look at thepeople who are running with the story,
and it's it's the people who havehad something negative to say so from the
beginning. So it is like it'sit's funny to me, and look,
you know, we we also knowhow the world. W could something happen
between now and Saturday? Those thingsthat is the world? But to just

(44:45):
jump on one website but may ormay not have ever been updated, it's
hysterical. Like again, I don'tknow that they ever updated the main website.
I really don't know, and iflike and if they didn't they you
know, as somebody who's affected byit, do I wish they did?
Sure, But also as somebody whohas to update stuff and doesn't always get

(45:06):
around doing a timely Batchman, Iget it. It makes sense. So
it's just it's just funny and uh, I've had a lot of people come
to me because of things that aregoing on, like the obviously I remember
having we had our fair share ofdrama in the past the year that shall

(45:30):
not be spoken of. So it'slike I'm just focused on us, Like
I just want to make sure thatcomes Saturday, everybody here an MVP arena.
It's the chance to have the bestpossible time and watch our team win
it all and start by winning bycancel Orlando. So it's like, I
don't I haven't been watching. Ihaven't pay attention to anything else except for

(45:50):
that. But we have an amazingproduction crew here at the Arena, so
we're good to go. Whoever, wherever the gear ends up, it's gonna
be do you should be in.Let's do this power ranking because I like
how some people are responding. I'mnot sure if I saw a certain power
ranking get posted that people are talkingabout how I feel about power ranking.
So I'm gonna do one quickly thatyou could rank here. Things that surprise

(46:15):
you the least that have happened thisweek, Things that surprise you the least,
so least surprising it one most surprisingit for the things you get their
rank are the New York Rangers beingup to oh in their series, the
New York Knicks being up to ohin their series, the Arena Football League

(46:37):
being criticized for internet non updated schedules, or how bad my parlay was yesterday?
Ooh ooh, okay, which isleast? Which is least surprising?
Yes? Would be number one?All right. Number one is the Rankers.
They're the President's Cup winner, andunlike the brew is the President's companyers

(47:00):
should put on a great showing atleast in the first round of the playoffs.
So so one is the Rangers.Ah man, this is tough.
Two, I'm gonna go with yourparlay blowing up because you were so confident.
I should have known better than thearrival you. Three, I will
go with people you know I'm Three, I'm gonna go I'll go with the

(47:24):
mix. And then four. Whatwhat is actually most surprising to me is
how much are people who are rootingagainst what could be a great thing,
especially for the playoffs. The NFLis the the league fused on actually helping
teams pay the players, to makesure the players get the best of compensation

(47:46):
possible. So like that that doesstill shock me a lot. But don't
you're part of that. And Icouldn't pick one. He were so confident,
You're so confident, And that's thereason why I was like, Okay,
the ANSWER's gotta be one here. It's got to be least confident or
least surprising's mind. But even whenit felt like my bet was going to

(48:08):
lose, I was so locked inon that Timberwolves game and watching the Suns
fall apart and they're up by Ibelieve sixteen at one point late in the
third, I'm like, this iseasy money. Then I'm watching the Bucks
down by a little bit at halfI'm like, Oh, they're gonna do
what the Wolves just did. They'rejust gonna pull away here and I got
two for two. I'm done.Kawhi Leonard got announced he was gonna play

(48:28):
late in game two. Oh,this is wonder. I'm cashing this forty
four to one ticket. I didnot do that. I went a perfect
over three on the bet. Theanswer should be the Rangers. I think
I agree with you at the topof that that New York has been the
best team in hockey in the regularseason, and that statement outllow should be
like something to brag about, likeyou were the best team in the regular

(48:50):
season. But a lot of sportsfans, especially over the last five to
ten years, I think even youknow this almost is a post COVID take
again, and I bring this upbecause of like the regular seasons in baseball
got changed and football got changed, and the Dodger fans like that. People
argue that the COVID season wouldn't behave an asterisk next to it. Boy,
we all changed our mindset when itcame to that, especially at the

(49:10):
pro ranks. So the Bruins fansknow this having the best regular season doesn't
matter that much if your team chokesit away, all does is put more
pressure onto you. The Rangers lookawesome. The Knicks are the toughest one
to get a read on on thisone, because I'm still sticking by the
tank that Philly fan believes they arethe better team in this series, even
though they're trailing, even though theyhaven't won a game. Sixer fan can

(49:35):
make a case that they had opportunitiesthat should have gone in their favor.
I've seen stories now out that somemiscalls at the end of the game or
the reason. So the Knicks arethe toughest one of that ranking to really
figure out where they stand. It'llbe very easy to figure it out tomorrow
when these two teams go out againfor Game three. Yeah, the next

(49:55):
I guess that's still Yeah. Themost shocking is the most excited. I've
sat here and told you all thereasons that they should be able to win
it all, but it all involvedthem having all the pieces back, every
being right, Jalen Bronson being anabsolute superstar. Those things haven't come together
the way you want them to againstthe seventy six ers. However, you
own to nothing do you haven't playedyour best basketball again, and you are

(50:20):
you are in the Cafferts, whichmakes me extremely happy. I think,
I think there's a man. Ijust I feel like it's nineteen ninety four
all over again, Oh Jason, the news for all the well, this
time the right reasons. The Knicks, the Rangers are good. It feels
you you don't know about nineteen ninetyfour, guys, it was a good
year. I had a Mustang,I was I was all over the place

(50:44):

I did not see your Mustang involvedin the June nineteen ninety four documentary

be wrong. Spong just wasn't lookingfor it hard enough. Well, it
