That's toys with his Z and hislittlevacing guys guys over there in that
the GT Toy Studio, Me livefrom the office here at MVP Arenas we
get closer and closer to the kickoffof the Firebirds, I was about to

(00:44):
try and induce you to one ofthe owners, but I know I know
better, Richie says out, whois a great guy. He works entirely
too hard to put up with myshenanigans and nonsense. So he has smiled
at me and walked away. Thankyou, Richie, you're the man.
Earlier today got I had the opportunityto uh to do a quick interview where
I explained that I wouldn't I wouldn'thave done this the way I'm doing it

(01:06):
if not for the three guys runningthis team, and Ritchie's definitely a big
reason behind it to have a guywho just logistically can solve issues and jumps
in and does it. And he'sleft the room now so I can still
be nice about him and mean it. It's been it's been such a game
changer. So very very excited. But speaking of football, tonight's no no

(01:26):
no no no no no no nono no no no no no no.
We will we will talk about wewill talk about the draft coming up.
I want to. I got twobig questions for you. Birth you No,
no, I'm coming on into onequestion. Oh, I'm doing these
interviews, you're probably hanging out withthe TV type. You're probably hanging out
with Roger Wiland or the phenomenal AjPinkowski or these Griffin hasses. You're probably

(01:48):
talking to these TV pop I'm noteven jealous about that. I don't have
issues with that. I have issueswhat happened during Flock University yesterday before that
show went live. And Flock Universityis the coaches show for the Albny Firebirds,
which is now here on That's fine, that's fine, Fox Sports ninety
five nine to ninety I had thingsto do here at the studio. My
issue is what happened between those showswith you and we're doing the show.

(02:10):
I'm taking over the start of theshow because that is a local sports connection.
You talked to Jerry McNamara, Yougot a picture with coach Jerry McNamara,
you and g Macker buddies. NowI want answers, and I want
them now. About what happened withthe new Sianta basketball coach Jerry mcdamara and

(02:31):
you last sight You couldn't wait toshare that picture with me. I got
upset. I shared with a bunchtake me through it with you and coach
McNamara yesterday. That's what I wantto know. First off, I thought
you'd be excited to see two ofyour legends so close together, like two
of your two of the people insports that you want to be the most,
that you idolize the most. Ithought you'd be thrilled to see that

(02:52):
picture. I didn't even share itpublicly yet I saved it for that was
that was a gift from me toyou and me and the new Siena men's
basket well coach Jerry McNamara. Iwas like, here you go. Thomas,
here's a gift and you and youdon't like it. I wish you
would have shared it publicly so Icould have watched all the people say,
hey, did you let guys know? What about guys? This is his

(03:13):
favorite athlete, This is the person. As much as I like coach Karm,
I would say Jerry McNamara was apipe dream that there was no chance
he was coming to Sienna. Ididn't think he would. Here he is
rocking Sienna gear feet away from myradio partner, my dear friend, and
there you are chatting away, armaround each other, laughing it up.
Ha ha, good one. JareCan I call you? Jer? How

(03:37):
did that happen? Take me throughwhat happened? And did he ask about
me? All right, I listen, I'll take you through the whole Here.
I'm gonna put it on Twitter andI'm gonna tag you in it just
so you can so you can seeit. There you go, guys,
I just put it on Twitter foryou. At the Juffle back it was,
you know, it's just a normalday here at the MVP arena.

(04:00):
The couple of the neighbors talking, you know, had a chance to talk
to Chris, who's the president ofthe fire Wolves. And then you know,
I saw this. I saw thisgentleman in a group a little unents
urage hanging out over behind the endzone and I looked over and I went,
I think that's Gmac. So Iwas, you know, as as
neighbors do, you walk over, you say hello, talk to a couple

(04:20):
of people, and you know,we we ended up being you know,
hitting off. Told me I hada radio show and I'd love to have
him on at some point, andhe looked at me like, oh,
you have a radio show, gole. Yeah. Actually my co host is
probably your biggest fan in the entireCapitol region. Grew up in Syracuse area,
loves you to death. As amatter of fact, said he wants
to sniff you when he went andyou were that guys guy, and I

(04:42):
said, yes, I am.Yeah, So we took a picture with
he. Actually he didn't know aboutthe sniff line until I told him,
and he said he will do aninterview with us at some point. Has
to be over the phone, butno, definitely afraid of you now.
But he's really really great dude. The whole entourage was phenomenal. They were
just good. And he's Uh,he's gonna be a valued member of the
Capitol region. I have a lotof follow ups, a lot of follow

(05:04):
ups. Let's let's start with theagain. Here, I am trying to
do something nice for my guy andtake it time. You know me,
I almost never get pictures with people, you know, but I was like,
you know this one, this isgonna mean something to my boy.
Let me get a thing care ofand you and you know, you just
you don't appreciate it. I II don't appreciate it. You're because this

(05:24):
was supposed to be with me andhim, and then you were supposed to
be there too. I've envisioned thismoment that we're gonna meet together. The
entourage, I'm assuming was like theMVP operations staff. Was it the new
Sienna I know, Uh, theyhad some more hiring today. Coach Bury
was hired. I always go coachcoach, coach on a Waku, Coach
Blackwell. Was it the Siena coachingstaff? Was it the MVP crew?
What was the entourage you're described withCoach mcdamara. Uh, you know,

(05:48):
I just I was I was justbeing, you know, a good neighbor
and saying hello. I wasn't reallyyou know, I wasn't in there like
going, you know, probing andwho were you? How'd you get it?
Who you? What is the dottydude? Like, No, I
didn't. I didn't get into allthat. I just you know, introduced
myself. We changed we exchanged phonenumbers, personal phone numbers. Yeah,

(06:11):
well yeah, all right, sendthat over to me so I can text
them like like, please don't sharethis with anyone. I want to say,
ben Lee was here not you knowagain that is I was just again
just me talking to a dude.A couple of dudes talking to dude,
just dudes being dudes. Dudes invitedhim to do a coin talk at some

(06:32):
point in the future, you know, just uh again just dudes being dudes.
Me and me and my boy Gmax. So you know, we're we
you know, we might go geta lunch at some point. We're not
sure. Well know, we're justwe're just letting it grow, let me
breathe. I'm in a few masstexts with you and Siena people and other
people. I've noticed that you startedusing the term Levac and Gmax starts Monday.

(06:57):
I will, I will, Iwill say uh for those of you
who think Godz is only pretending tobe angry with me. I have never
once in almost ten years of knowingyou being called the MF word before yesterday
the first time that has ever happenedten years, and I have done way

(07:20):
worse than introduce myself to Jerry McNamara. I've pretended to be the father of
your unborn children at times, andyou've never said that to me. But
that one was like a here.I literally I texted over, Hey,
how bad do you want to hateme? Guz? Go ahead? I
sent the picture and it was instant. It was bing bing. It was

(07:42):
back to me calling me bad words. So it's yeah, chill man.
Once you did that, I waslike, you know, well back in
gmac has a nice ring to it, you know, just maybe not even
maybe it's maybe it's just a showfor the community. Maybe we get together
with like I love New York andwe film a buddy experience where the two
of us are just hanging, youknow, getting bruised, talking like bros.

(08:03):
You want to just do a publicaffairs show just for the community,
not even for the audience for FoxSports, just you guys, just helping
out the Capital region. Uh,first of all, yes, you sold
my car show. By the way, there'll be no sniffing, no sniffing.
Okay, you sold my car beforemy honeymoon. You've set a lot
of other examples of the Hooters outfitI've been through. But you're right,

(08:24):
I've never dropped that term to you. I so infrequently use it. You
can double check the text. Iso infrequently use that via text that I
believe Siri didn't even correct it.Yeah, it's spelled wrong on there.
It's definitely spelled wrong. All right. So the end all be all of
this is coach macnamara, my athleterole model, the kid that I had.

(08:45):
I was the one the poster upin the room of Jerry mac Jerry
mcma Jersey. Is he coming onthe Lavak and Gosh Show sooner rather than
later? And you won't be instudio you're telling me that's already been confirmed,
not a studio guest. It was, uh, like I said,
he said, you know, likeI said, we're cutting up a little
bit of having some fun. Invitehim to the games. I said,
you know, I'd love to haveyou on the show, he said,

(09:07):
And then he said, you saidthat your coast wants to sniff me right.
I was like, that has beensaid, and he went, I'm
gonna do this one over the phoneif it's okay with you, And I
was like, I think that's fine. I actually I think it's wise if
we're being if we're being real.God's gonna walk in the room be like
this microphone's not like chloroform to you, and you know whatever. No,

(09:28):
Yeah, it was good dude, man, you'd be happy. You'd be
happy. He's a very good dude. Cianno's in a good spot. The
fact that coach McNamara is going aroundand involving himself in local sports and connecting
and who knows. I know youjust bumped into him by chance at Flock
University. He was there. Iwouldn't be shocked if he's at the Firebird
game on Saturday, depend on howrecruiting. Usually weekends is a strong recruiting

(09:50):
time, especially in this period.I wouldn't be shocked if he's at the
Patroons game on whether it be Fridaynight or Sunday. I would not be
shocked if you see Jerry atmar spendingmore time across the camp with the region.
I yeh see it's it's it's interestingthough, I will I will say
like I offered them, we hada we had like a spread of like
or derves out, uh, youknow, for the for the fans and

(10:11):
the players, and I offered itup and he was like, you know,
we're we're taking this guy. Ithink he had to recruit with him.
Actually, uh, we have youknow, we're taking him to dinner
and we can talk about the restof the stuff. He's very professional.
It was, it was very cool. And then when I when I made
you know, when I invited himto things, you could tell that even
though the world of college sports haschanged, they're still very very cautious to

(10:35):
not do anything that I'm supposed todo. So so you your boy is
cool and and smart and savvy. So Sienna, it looks like you got
you got the right guy. Beendoing great and recruiting great in the coaching
staff so far. If you're aSaints fan, if you're alumni, you've
bought season tickets, everything is headingin the right direction, like with Thein

(10:56):
a span of forty eight hours,we talked about him signing a seven footer
out of the trains for portal signinga former local product in Marcus Jackson,
who was at you Albany bringing aformer college basketball big man in arenze On
o'waku. That's a pretty good fortyeight hours he just had and and uh,
you know, he met me.I think that's you put that on

(11:16):
there. I did. I gotto add one. Yeah, that's I
think that's probably the one he's mostexcited about. He probably went home till
uh told till till missus Mac.You know, I met Jeff Lovac today
and uh, I think we're bestfriends and we may get matching tattoos.
Mine will say best and half aheart no no no, and and the

(11:37):
other side the other half heart. That's my ta I want that. By
the way, if you if youfollow the vac on Twitter at the Jeff
Lovak and you want to share thatwith coach Mac Damara, which I believe
it's still at coach Mcamara on Twitter, you just tag us and we could
be the three best friends that anyonecould have. I don't have any problems
with that. I mean I don't, I just I don't know if you
get the vibe. I don't know, if you don't know, if I

(11:58):
don't know if you'd fit in priestcompany, is what you're telling me.
I just you know, again,at no point to either one of us
go or anything like that, youknow what I mean. It was just
like, what's up, bro shake. We instantly had our own special handshake,
which was cool, and you knowit was just like, hey,
sports legend, Yeah, sports legend, and you know, champion. I

(12:20):
was like, yeah, champion, and then we just we vied, we
did the champion handshake, and thenhe just that was it. So you
know, he's he's one of theboys. Now. I was gonna take
more to meet Boston Dan real quickand a couple other people, and uh,
you know, eventually we'll talk toyou. Did I hear you?
What was that about Boston Dan?Like groom you a little bit more?

(12:41):
Like, you know, I gottaI gotta introduce him to Mike Khorda and
Andy, then you know everyone else, maybe Chad up at the hot I
guess the places to take him first, some people to introduce him to.
And then you know, but you'reon the list, like not not anywhere
high, but you but I mean, you are on the list. How
dare you you? This is thegreatest thing that's ever happened? Oh my

(13:07):
god, you know what. Ijust want to remind you of something.
Remember when you invited Tommy Kinley tothe studio, No, I did not.
I didn't know Tommy Jainley at thestudios and you didn't even tell me
that the that the he like justmade it over to the Yankees. You
remember that. That's not what happened. That's not it's revisionist history. And

(13:28):
what happened was what happened was CapitolRegions on Tommy Cainley was invited by Chet
Davis and said, hey, Ihave a guest tonight, and then it
ended up being Tommy Cayley. Andthen I did not tell you. I
just I just forgot to tell you, and then he was there. I
guess that is karma, that's right. I guess. All right. How's
it feel, chat Chet Davis CBSsix. I blame you, okay,

(13:54):
was on you if anything, andmaybe me a little bit. Uh hey
man, listen when you know, like ya this morning when we were just
checking in, like hey, what'sup, buddy? Hey pal, I
told g Mac that, you know, I again, after he settled in,
we'll talk about maybe letting you inlike some like sit across the room

(14:16):
and see him through like a window. God, I love you. See
none of that, none of thatprofession, that is it weird. I've
already thought of the questions I'm gonnaask him. I got a joke in
one of them. I want yougonna test it out. But I'm gonna
say that I want to test it. I mean I feel like I know
him well enough. Ha ha ha, good one, Jerry, I got

(14:39):
some I got some of that. No, no, no, I'm gonna
keep those. I'm gonna fantasize aboutimar. Come on, tell me what they
are. No no, no,no, no, no, no,
no, no no. Just forJerry and I. This is the best
thing ever. I'll tell you.I'm having a blast. I love this
market on your calendars. This isthe day. April twenty fifth, twenty
four. We are closer to havingJerry mcnabur on the show than ever before.

(15:03):
Not because of me, Oh no, it was never gonna I mean
it was always gonna be me.And you know, come here, Jerry.
I love you, Jerry, Jerry, remember remember remember that time as
Syracuse when you made that big shot. Yeah, that was awesome. You

It's Levac and Guzz on ninety fivenine Fox Sports Radio. Why from
the GT Toy Studio. That's Toyswith a Z, which today happens to

(22:17):
be my office over at the MVPArena. While guys is back in the
studio, it is Levac and Gods. We are thrilled to be here.
And it is Draft Day, baby, or as I like to call it,
Christmas because I like looking at itall. I like breaking it down,
like thinking about how each one ofthese players can help my favorite teams.
I can help the New York teams. Guys, I mean I look

(22:37):
and I feel like more and moreand more and more people are just are
sold on the quarterbacks going one,two three? Is that the case?
Do you think there's a trade tomake it happen? Is there any other
way to go? As possible,I would still say quarterbacks go one,
two three in the draft. Whatthe biggest Draft Day rumor has been is
two and Washington. Jaden Daniels hasbeen one of the two most talked about

(23:02):
names here since Midnight's struck on DraftDay. That the rumor is it's not
a done deal that Jayden Daniels goestoo and I can't even say that's that
huge of a surprise. And maybeyou listening in levaqu you feel different now
because like we've heard that report forabout seventy two hours that the bachelor version
of the Commanders come on in andwho wants to play? And Daniel's like,
nah, I'm good, I'm actuallyI'm not playing this game. It

(23:22):
may have actually turned them off.Maybe that's the biggest rumor. So I
would still say one, two, three is very likely in this year's draft.
I gotta go back because there's somepeople who may have never heard our
draft takes as we've led up totoday, pour in the shot the drinking
Game of God saying fascinating about thetwenty twenty four draft is back. I

(23:44):
want this to be studying under amicroscope because this is the theme I feel
like wide big picture about the draftadults. This is the COVID draft.
These are the kids who have beenin college for five and six years.
If you don't know what I'm talkingabout, like bow nick So I thought
was fantastic this year. Borderline HeinsmanTrophy winner played in the Best Games Bo
nicks Uh. He's three years olderthan Anthony Richardson, who was drafted last

(24:11):
year, three years older than AnthonyRichardson, Jayden Daniels, Michael Pennix,
both older than C. J.Stroud, and Bryce Young who are drafted
last year. Jared Verse, welove him, you all any connection.
That's probably our biggest local tie. He's twenty three and a half years old.
These are older guys who are gettingpicked this year. Is it because

(24:32):
they're good or is it because theykind of started to dominate the college game
much younger. That's what's so fascinatingabout the twenty twenty four NFL Draft class
prospects. To me, so guyswho are twenty three twenty four getting picked
in the first round. I meanthey won't have a free agent contract until
they're almost twenty nine. Think aboutthat. You don't get to go over

(24:57):
the big money until you're I likejust about to be thirty. That's gonna
be used against so many dudes thatare drafted in this draft, Like Michael
Pennix junior. I think he's he'stwenty three. I think it'll be twenty
four by the by the time theseason starts, or or is it twenty
twenty two, Gonna be twenty he'stwenty three, right, he's twenty three
right now. So to your pointed, you're talking about guys if you're

(25:18):
a first round pick with a fiveyear deal, so you're gonna hit twenty
eight, depend on when the birthdayfalls, potentially twenty nine. And to
offer further perspective there, let's sayyou enter the NFL when you're twenty three
and the average NFL career is twentyseven. Like, you're not doing NFL
teams that he favor. Now,someone say it's a different time, it
should have met No, no,no, no, that is a massive
deal. The age difference in someof these players that are entering this year's

(25:42):
overall prospect list of first through thefirst three rounds is really what it looks
like. There's some younger players,is you get deeper in the draft,
but are they really good? Arethey the future? Are they for contenders?
Teams that are playoff teams far moreimportant to take those guys who could
and potentially contribute quicker. Those areall good questions about that. First of

(26:03):
all, Looid team, I'm nowmore willing to draft Michael Pennance Junior because
I have so much control over thatguy's contract. I listen, I can
bring him in, and even ifhe's an injury issue, I have less

(26:25):
problems because you roll the dice. He's not an injury issue. Now I've
got you for four years plus thefifth year option. So now I've got
you until you're twenty nine. Ithen franchise tag you for two years you're
thirty one before you get a chanceto sign a big money contract like that's
and then I can move on ifI want. And maybe I just got
seven eight stellar years of quarterback outof a guy that may or may not

(26:49):
be ready to play. It iswhat every team's gonna have to de sign
today. Is it is age thatimportant? Is production that important? How
quickly can it happen? Why willit happened like that? That's what makes
this draft class so unique, sodifferent than anything else. Of how much
will teams factor that in and howmuch of them being successful on the field

(27:11):
this year was because of that agedifference. We might not see this again
for a long time, because ofthat extra year of COVID eligibility and everything
else. We might not see prospectshitting twenty four twenty five again. I
mean, there's other prospects like SamHartman, who's twenty four and a half,
and Devin Leary from Kentucky. Like, we have these players that are
just old, they just are. It's really different in twenty twenty four.

(27:37):
I'm kind of excited about Let's speakto somebody who's always excited. Our guy,
Corey from Greenwich. What's going on, Cory? Hei? Guys,
Hello Corey. Other big question iswill the Patriots go with McCarthy. They
might be just so intrigued with theMcCarthy and then the Giants will be like,

(28:00):
hm, should I should I?They love Drake May, they might
want May, all right, Soyou're saying JJ McCarthy goes third overall,
leaving Drake May available for the Giants. We've been led to believe there's no

(28:21):
way that the Cardinals are gonna goquarterback. They still want to wide receiver.
The Giants can move up from sixto four, and if I'm the
Cardinals, I'm still guaranteed either MarvinHarrison Junior or elite Neighbors, maybe both.
I don't I've seen people think this. I think you've got to move
up to three if you want DrakeMay for the Giants. But we've been

(28:42):
throwing curveballs before. If the Cardinalshave got to be enjoying life right now,
they don't need a quarterback. Andif somebody gets froggy or somebody does
something crazy ahead of them, thatpick because maybe the most valuable pick in
the entire draft. I had anothertheory. What happens if the Giants their

(29:03):
quarterback is there? So they pickedthe quarterback, but they need a weapon
for that quarterback. Could they draftinto the first round late to pick up
a wire receiver since it a heavywire receiver class. Maybe get that Mitchell
guy out of Texas. It's prettygood, you said the Giants there,
Coret, I thought you broke upfor a second. You want the Giants
to try to get a wide receiver. It was the Giants to make their

(29:26):
quarterback early and then trade back into get their wide receiver. I would
flip that. I don't disagree withthe positions that the Giants are targeting,
but I would flip it because thequarterback position. If you really want a
quarterback, then you get them rightthere in that first pick. I always
compare the Daniel Jones season to thatthat. Remember they went after Daniel Jones.

(29:47):
Do I think Daniel Jones is theright pick to after No, but
that's your guy. Like remember inthat draft last the Giants had two first
round draft picks and everyone said, why don't you take Jones with the second
one. Well, it's because youdon't want anyone else to tack Daniel Jones.
So if I were the Giants andyou have a quarterback in mind,
I would use that pick to goget them higher in the first round and
then trade back for the wide receiverin the first round because it's a little

(30:07):
deeper for wide receivers in that spot. So I guess you know what,
Corey, I agree with you.Gosh, I gave you two minutes to
agree with you. All I hadto say, Wow, should we write
down and down? I know,I didn't even know what I was doing.
Halfway through it. I'm like,am I agreen with Corey and just
seeing what he said. Oh man, this is weird because they wanted to

(30:32):
draft if they wanted a quarterback,if they they would have to jump up
because that spot where the Broncos theRaiders that are right there, they might
sweep. When I'm later quarterbacks,correct, I would think I don't know
about Denver anymore. I would haveamazing Zach Wilson. I agree with Levac

(30:52):
too, and I'll even add tothis Corey that if you had to tell
me, Gods, what do youor Lovak, what's the most exciting part
of ten night's draft, it's thatspot right there, like that eleven twelve
thirteen. I guess that's like thehour and a half in like dining minutes
independent on commercials. The most intriguingpart of the draft may actually be posting
New York teams. It's that VikingRaider Broncos spot. Wow, this is

(31:15):
an exciting Hey, thank you,Corey. And we still don't know who
the Jets are. Gonn Tack No, well, I love it, Thank
you Corey. I got muff Hegot muffled there a little bit. He
said. He also still doesn't knowwho the Jets were to talk about or
take. We will definitely talk moreNew York focused later in the show,
coming up, probably right after thetop four and four about what the New

(31:37):
York teams might do. I thinkas the longest you let Corey be on
the show, you know, inyears. I didn't know what to do
there. I was like given drafttakes and he was agreeing with me,
and then I'm like, wait asecond, I'm agreeing with him. He's
not agreeing with me. That's notwhat's happening here. His stuff made sense.
He left me a message earlier todayand he goes, hey, can
we get your guys mock draft roundone through five? I said, how

(31:59):
about just hockey for three hours andthen you need to get back to me.
Yeah, that's not I can't seeus being able to do that,
my friend, like, at leastI can't gouys my my feel froggy and
go for it. But I've neverbeen I don't think I've ever been good
at doing a mock draft. IfI'm being perfectly honest, I've I know
I've gone into your super confident.I feel like every time remember that,

(32:21):
what was it? The the defensivelineman he ended up with the at the
time, the Washington Redskins now theCommanders out of I think he was may
have been a Georgia lineman. JonathanAllen. Jonathan Allen. I was like
every pick for like from like twoto when he finally came off the WORDLINELL,
it's gotta be Jonathan Allen, andthen I just kept saying it even
after he got drafted, Allen, did you see the trend today that's happening

(32:46):
involving speaking about big men up front, defensive lineman and offensive lineman. Wasn't
it Laramie Tunsil in his draft wherefor a lot of that football season and
going into the spring, he wasprojecting me the number one overall pick.
That's a year where Houston was gonnahave two high picks, and it's weird
that he eventually played for Houston,My pig. It was Miami that year

(33:06):
ahead the top pick that U Tunsallwas the top pick, and it was
the gas mask photo that he keptcrashing. And you and I were watching
that draft together as well, andwe're like, he's too good. He's
too good. Someone go get Tunsel. What people are doing now today is
they're saying, oh my god, have you seen this video of Marvin Harrison
Junior? Have you seen this videoof Jayden Daniels. I think it's gonna

(33:30):
affect this draft stock. It's thesame video of Laramie Tunsell. I do
find the people who are saying,oh my god, have you seen this
video of Drake May This is definitelyhim. It's not Drake that makes me
happy when it's like just obviously notthe same dude. That's that's what it's

(33:51):
all. That's what I enjoyed theabsolute most. It's like, wait,
wait a minute, something does notadd up here. You know, I
am not called detective, but Isee a difference. Yes, you know
what. I'm also happy the internet'swinning today. Usually on draft that you
guys are the worst. Usually thisis the day where people would find what
they tweeted when they were a twelveyear old and say, will this hurt

(34:13):
their draft stock? How about today? Well we didn't do that, so
you know, we're improving the society. I think a little bit with that.
Okay, So I just looked upthe Laramie Tonsle draft, so that
the Rams traded and got the firstpick, which is it being Jared Goff.
They got that from Tennessee. Eaglesgot the second pick from Cleveland Carson

(34:36):
Wentz. Then it was Joey Bosa, Ezekiel, Elliott, Jalen Ramsey,
Ronnie Still. It just kept goinguntil he was picked thirteenth by Miami.
Uh that was you know. Iremember why I was mad, If you
remember correctly, I threw a fit. We were at Katie O Burns.
The Giants picked ten and took EliApple instead of Laramie Tunsil, and I

(34:57):
turned around and screamed, that willhaunt them for the rest of their life.
And I'm not wrong. You're notwrong. That did haunt the Giants.
I know this is not the greatestradio to read a list on the
air, but can we go backto the Staley pick and rita until Tunsall
because the first five names he listedoff for all really good players. I
know, Carson Wentz, like CarsonWentz almost won the MVP, but those
are really good picks over the topfive right there. First seven picks have

(35:22):
been Pro Bowlers Jared Goff, CarsonWentz, Joey Bosays, Ezekiel Elliott,
Jalen Ramsey, Ronnie Staley to ForrestBuckner. And then it's not like,
even though these guys got Jack Conklin, Leonard Floyd, Eli Apple, Vernon
Hargraves to your Tampa Bay Buccaneers,Shelton Rankins, and then Laramie Tunsll Eli

(35:45):
Apple is so significantly worse than anyone of those thirteen players you just listed
off one hundred percent. It's oneof those one of these things is not
like the others. But he's stillplaying. I mean everyone's It's always shocks
me. I never know where he'sgonna be. It's almost like bobbing for
apples. Eli apple just pops upon like the Saint Secondary exactly right.

(36:07):
Uh, it's been a yeah,it's been a while since someone could look
at Dave Gettleman's Draft and start blaminghim about certain things that happened. To
speak about, Dave Gettlman, youand I were text about this at like
seven o'clock in the morning, andI know we're talking more big picture,
but this is a big picture conversation. Doesn't it feel like more and more
this year people are referencing the movieDraft Day than ever before because it's finally

(36:30):
getting in the respected dessert. It'svery good sports movie. It might be
one of Kevin Cost's best sport movies. No, it's not. I would
say it's I would say it's thesecond worst theme sports movie I've ever seen.
That can't be true. Bottom five. Listen, it's better than Feel

(36:52):
the Dreams. I can tell youthat right now. I'll stand by that.
I'll stand on that hill. I'mnot scared like bull Durham is better,
but did something. It's a funmovie. It's a good movie.
I saw a movie. Did whathappened to you? Were you? Were
you hurt during it? Like?Did somebody pinch you while you were watching
it? Until you were upset? The worst sports movie I've ever seen in

(37:14):
a movie, I believe it's calledSugar. It's spelled s u g a
not er sugar. Sugar. Yeah, And the movie is about a Latin
America baseball player who tries to makeit in the major leagues and then he
just finally just quits and just likehas to work for pennies. I'm like,
this is a very depressing movie. Why did you make me watch this
in school? But that's the worstone. The second worst is Draft Day.

(37:35):
Why why Draft Day stinks as amovie. It's because it's not as
good as the actual draft, andthat's probably why I hate it. You
know, you know who Draft Dayis good for? If you have a
friend who's not into sports, oryou have a I don't know, Like
my sister in laws have probably littleto know knowledge of what the NFL Draft
is. I bet if they watchedDraft Day, they would probably like it.

(37:57):
I think I'm bothered by Draft Daybecause we know what the draft is
and what it all means. Thedraft itself is better than the movie.
Sometimes not always that, but butthe draft, like that's almost not fair
because you and I are the kindof nerds who love the draft. Like
it's not it's not like it's justsome random job hiring or whatever. It's

(38:19):
not. It's not it's not ourboy Jordan over it express just getting people
to fill the front office for theFirebirds. It is a life changing moment
for multiple franchises. There's you know, there's there's the drama of the reach,
there's the the success, there's thecrying. There's so much good stuff
to it that it is. Thedraft is different for us. If you

(38:42):
took somebody who didn't care about sportsthat much, or at least doesn't care
about the draft, and they watchedDraft Dight, it would blow it out
of the water every for everyone.Twenty fourteen. By the way, that
film came out, uh age likea fine line. Do you think some
of the today, Well, Iwas gonna, I don't know, like
a fine wine. Because a lotof people are pointing out that maybe the

(39:04):
reason why bow Callahan stock fell isbecause he was represented by Diddy and that
really hasn't aged well for him.It didn't, It didn't help. But
I mean he again, he wasyou know, he wasn't loved by his
teammates, and now it shows youwhy maybe maybe maybe by the teammates to
a few parties didn't go well. You know you and I freaking out did

(39:24):
he's impact for the movie Trip? You're not getting that at the Four Letter
Network, Like right now, that'snot that's not gonna happen for you.
Uh that the I'm sorry, let'slet's we should probably look at this year's
mock draft for real quick. Doyou have a specific moment in which you

(39:45):
think it's gonna get more exciting? You see something? Yes? That well,
okay, what are you looking for? New England? New England?
By the way, speaking about NewEngland, there's a take I want you
to finish off here before the showends. You tease some people about the
Patriots, and if you've been listeningto the show, you might know what
it is. Corey referenced New England. Our guy Cantarah Picks. When I

(40:06):
was six, had our friend Johnschammelcho on this morning talking about New England.
This feels like New England where thingsget crazy. I love I can't,
Sarah, I'm giving you love onthis. I love this take he
had. He said, is RobertKraft going to try to make the next
Brady the underdog, underestimated quarterback fromMichigan who people don't think he has the
skill set, and JJ McCarthy becomesa Patriot to be Tommy two point zero?

(40:31):
Do the Patriots trade out of thepick because Belichick route. The intrigue
for me starts at three for NewEngland, whether they do something unconventional or
conventional. And if Belichick is somehowtrying to tip where the hand goes on
social media? What if Belichick sayshere's who I would take and all the
Patriots front office You're like, whodid Belichick say? Wait? Wait?

(40:52):
Wait he said? He said DrakeMay he said bo Nicks. Why do
he No, no, no,don't whatever he said don't do right.
New England is my pick. Iwant it, and I can't. I
think I'm convincing myself that the Commandersare gonna do something because that like,
I want this year's draft to goone of two ways for my favorite team.

(41:15):
I either want the Raiders to,you know, stand pat, you
know, fall back, take areally great player, but but don't do
anything flashy and just build the rosterslowly the right way. Or I want
them to throw caution to the wind, give up the goat, do whatever
you're gonna do. Get all theway up to two and put Jane Daniels
back together with Antonio Pears and seewhat might have happened if stinky old herb

(41:38):
Herm Edwards wasn't there to screw everythingup. That's what so I don't I'm
that's I think I'm convincing myself too. Is where it starts. Realistically speaking,
it's probably four because if because ifI'm the Cardinals, I'm just sitting
there waiting and going, hey,if you want a quarterback, come get
them, come get them. Butyou gotta you gotta trade ahead of me.

(41:59):
Draft night. It's gonna be awesome. You know what else is awesome,
Lilian David Fine jeweliers, the shopsthat will in your place to grab

to the NFL. How wonderful wouldthat be? Maybe an NFL draft we

Jared vers, maybe someone send himthe ring. Maybe they can make that

big money like your first sports contract, like you know, out out of
the Great Hobart University, if youwere signed like Ali Marpet to the Tampa

If it's big enough, I thinkI would go house. I know
that's very cliche, but I thinkI would just flat out get a house.

(48:21):
I've just learned in the last commercialbreak that I have more in common
with Angel Reese than I did withEric Flowers. Do you remember Eric Flowers
wed on the show when he wewe had a deal that when he signed
his contract, I was gonna takehim out carhopping. I was gonna help
pick out a good ride. Oh. Not only do I remember that,
I remember booking him. I thinkit's one of our favorite bookings of a
guest. The next day and duringthe week, and Matt Bopper said he's

(48:44):
been cursed since you actually shared thattweet on Twitter, But yeah, he
doubled down. He agreed twice. He not only agreed, he's like,
yeah, we'll make it happen.I don't know if he ever bought that
car, but I now know thatAngel Reese has bought her first car.
I don't know if it's your firstcar, but it's her first car as
a pro in the w U NBA. It is a Mercedes Benz SUV that

(49:05):
retails around one hundred and eighty threethousand dollars. Wow, about half of
her rookie contract when the WNBA isgoing into this car. And it's okay,
though, because she is actually evaluatedat about one point eight million thanks
to name, I, image andlikeness. Yeah, thank you for clarifying
that, because I didn't want tobe the bearer of bad news that we've

(49:28):
seen more and more public information aboutWNBA contracts. Like, Okay, if
she was making seventy thousand per yearin the w NBA, her first year's
salary would be gone into that vehicle. That was it was. I mean
it would literally be two years salary. Yeah yeah, three, So so

(49:49):
there there it is, though, but one point eight million. I think
it's nice that she waited until shewas going to draw a steady paycheck that's
less than the one she was justkidding. It's crazy, what a crazy
world. But I love good forher man. She took the spotlight and
she monetized it and now she's gota sweet SUV. I said this too.

(50:09):
I think it was at sir Berton Twitter today talking about Caitlin Clark
and cameronon Brink. I said inLovack when the nil came, I remember
giving you this take. I said, when the nil happens, you're gonna
find out how much more beneficial itis for female athletes than male athletes.
And I don't even know if there'sthe discussion how much better it's been for
female athletics, female sports than malesports. Whether it's because of the coverage,

(50:34):
whether it's because of social media. There is because of popularity, we
can all admit, whether it's becauseof good looks on Instagram. All that
stuff's played a factor in how youcan market female athlete. Where's my name,
image and likeness? Then from Instagram? Guys, is it your Instagram
private? Yeah, it's true. That makes it more. It's like OnlyFans,

(50:59):
oh is it? If you wantto follow the vac venmo him for
a monthly fee. Ah see,now we're talking. Now you gotta play
it. Uh listen, you don'teven like my Twitter, so I don't
know what you're talking about. Whatdo you mean I don't like your Twitter?
You just that's not true. Eversince I put that new picture of
you, thrill, I forgot.I actually didn't like your Twitter. I

(51:20):
almost forgot. I try to wipethat image. I'm speaking about Twitter.
Twitter. Let me get to someof these tweets. By the way,
I know I just mentioned Matt's tweetabout the giants of ben Cursons of that
promise car shopping with Eric Flowers. That's true. Uh are we gonna I'm
gonna give this love to Uh whata bust nineties kid about Eric Flowers?
You know, it's the odd partabout Eric Flowers in the first round pick.

(51:40):
Once he hired Drew Rosenhouse as hisagent, he got a pretty nice
contract, I believe from the Dolphins, even though he was bad like Rosenhouse
showed off his power to get Flowersthat second deal, and he made it.
Had a lot of money on thatsecond deal actually, and he got
windburn from watching all the pass rushersrun by him. To the quarterback.

(52:00):
Ryan wrote in are we gonna getan evil Shod con tonight, aren't we?
Or is he gonna be a goodguy? That's a reference to the
Jaguars owner who's involved with the storylinewith his son, Tony Khan. It's
going viral today. Yes, again, what is this story? Slow down
for me a little bit. Whatexactly is happening? So Tony Khan,

(52:22):
who is the owner, the CEOof All Elite Wrestling, they had a
show last night in Jacksonville, andstoryline wise, he was beaten down by
some of the wrestlers at the endof the show. So people are concerned
that if Tony Khan is there andhis father Shod Khan, are they going
to let the storyline play out infront of a national audience for marketing purposes,

(52:42):
Like, Hey, why is TonyKhan wearing a neck brace? Oh?
It's because of that's a pretty goodway to market your product, for
aw if people are wondering why they'rebandaged up like that? So you know
what do it? Tony Khan liedto me, is what you're saying.
I saw sees scoops by the way, picked up a little bit of that.
Yeah, So when we spoke toTony Con back in February, he
said a quote that went pretty viralfrom the question Levac asked him about will

(53:07):
you ever get involved in the ring, and he said, nobody wants to
see that. And then I madesure to find that and tag the person
who first shared it, and theyshared it back with us. So,
uh, maybe you might see thatgoing viral again. Sees scoops about what
Tony Con said. One other tweethere I got from Steve by the way,
I got Yankee Tiger, who wrotein, Hey, Levac, great
job last night by you and theFirebirds, revealing the new mascot Transfinder field

(53:29):
and the team best block university sofar this season. Let's go home opener
this Saturday. He's been just aboutall of them, so that's a He
is the head of flock support,so that means a lot coming from him.
It was a lot of fun.Messpike is uh uh, He's not
right, man. I'm just gonnasay. I'm just gonna say it.

(53:50):
There's something something off about that boy. He's he was up in my office
like eating pretending bird seed for likehours. I'm like, dude, you
I gotta go home. You gottayou gotta get out of here, and
he would just like squawking me runningmy office and keep going around like like
the dude, the dude's out there. He's fun, he's into it.
It's a good time. We're gonnaWe're gonna definitely have some fun with with

(54:13):
Spike here at the MVP Arena whenhe was but he was revealed. It
was one of those things that youknow what, we're good, We're you're
a little too weird for us,Spike. We got to put you back
in. We're could someone find ohwell again, we still we need just
for the just for my own mensalwell being. There's a moment and you'll

(54:36):
hear it right here on Fox SportsRadio ninety five to nine and nine eighty
coming up on Saturday morning. Buthe like rubs Damon Ware's heat. And
I've never seen anyone rub Damion War'shead before, so I really didn't know
what was gonna happen. I thoughtthere was a chance Damie was gonna turn
around and put him on the onthe on the turf, But he just

(54:57):
sat there with this like weird lookon his face, like because I hear
to you, no player is evergonna do that. I can guarantee you
that no player is gonna rub damto wear his head. But now Spike
the bird has, so that's thatwas something I want it to happen during
the game. I want a veryclose to Oh my gosh, why am
I blanking on the name for theDodgers, Oh my gosh? Who used

(55:17):
to beat up on the Philly fanatic? Oh? Oh my gosh, why
am I blanking on his name?Tommy Tommy Lasorda, Tommylsorti used to beat
up on the mascots? Was ita Vled Senior Vledgrare senior during an All
Star game? Where's bat flu andLasorta went did like a backflip over that.

(55:38):
Coach Ware take notes from that. You can start beating up mascots during
games if you need to coach.Where is in way better shape than Tommy
Lasorda? Ever, was no nooffense to to to that sweet baby angel
Tommy Lasorda. But uh, coachWare has actually been to a gym,
so he'd be a little bit moreacrobatic. He keeps his composed. Man,

(56:00):
There's times we're in rooms and Iwant to rage, and he's the
one who calms me down. SoI'm just like, when he finally does
snap, I don't want to bethe cause of it. That's that's where
I'm living right now. But uh, and it was, like I said,
great night, thanks to thanks tothe members of the flock who came
out, and uh and again theplayers, Like as we introduce the players,

(56:22):
you hear the crowd react to themall and you can see like the
rookies or the people who haven't beenyou know, part of the Albany Arena
football scene before, get really excitedbecause you know, it was obviously a
fraction of what we're going to havehere on Saturday. But at the same
time, it was still like thethe instant reaction from a room full of

(56:42):
people. The guys were thrilled. So the flock is going to have a
huge say and how this stall goesand and how our players feel going in
each game. I can't I can'twait, Guds, It's gonna be so
much fun. Closer and closer tokick off Saturday night is going to be
an amazing time, an amazing momentin the camp will to reach in having
the Firebirds return to the field inthe five, one, eight yeah,

(57:04):
and this team is so good manlike and they're good guys, like I
see him walk around the building, and you know, there's there's we've always
we've always done really well because Demenwarehas that has the rapport, has the
rollodex. Those knows who he wants, how he wants his players to be.
But this group just there's something. There's something very family about this group
already, Like they just from thesecond they came in. They all know

(57:25):
why they're here, they're all theyhave each other's backs. I just I
personally can't wait. So I'll stopgushing about my dudes. I'm sorry I
get excited, but I do wantto continue to gush a little bit because
I want to tell you about MohawksChevrolet. I love Mohawks Chevy right up
in it just I mean Boss' spot. You go to exit twelve, you
