That there are people who just watch tape and then
tell you what they saw on tape, which is cool,

Dan Ar Losk, he's fantastic at it. Chase Daniel is
like the emerging talent now that's doing it because he's

saw JJ McCarthy and they all went nuts because what
McCarthy did is I don't know if it's a This
one's always tough to figure out. Is it a breakdown
with young offensive linemen? Is it a bad play call.

JJ McCarthy was constantly getting blitzed, and he stood right
in the pocket and took every hit so bad that
he tore his meniscus over the last you know, less
than a week. Yeah, obviously got injured. There's not when
big blow we're gonna point to to watch it happen.
But if that's the sign of what's to come, that
he can figure out when the blitz is coming and
can handle it like that as a young rookie. That's great.

Again one more time. It's bad that a top fifteen
pick is getting blasted because his offensive line doesn't know
who he's blocking you. And now it's the tournamentiscus and

I as someone who was a competitor once upon a time,
I'm pretty sure guys you the same thing. You're the

the way up to the pros. You hate to see
somebody get hurt. I feel bad for the guy, but

but like stuff about players athletes getting injured, is so
frustrating because two things happen one we never find out
what they could have been. Like if you're a GM
a fan, you want to see, Hey, we invested, we
traded up, we signed the guy it did trade up to.

They did trade up to get MacArthur. They trade with
the Jets.

And it feels like you didn't get it wrong because
he got hurt. You know, like if he plays poorly,
he plays poorly. If you're not good, you're not good.
You can say I missed on that, But when they
get hurt, it feels like we missed out on something.
And the second one that always drives me nuts. And
I guess it's a pet peeve of mine in sports
or it's something that always triggers me for whatever reason
when I hear the term injury prone, like I feel

like I want to retiger the phrase in the history
of the sports talk medium injury prone. All injury prone
means is you played and you got hurt. You know
what I mean? Like, you know it was not injury
prone guys on the bench, you know it's not injury
prone Guys who don't play sports, like, oh, the massive
linebacker blasted me and I broke my arm. Injury prone. No, no, no,

you just got hurt. That's not a thing.

Like you know what term gives me a migraine headache

defined by the OMOS category should still be a compliment.

but the fact that you're in the mix and almost
winning championships and so close to having a historic season,

like this is easy, right, Like if you had to say,
what's the greatest season, greatest year in the history of
Capitol Region sports professional we're taking college out of this
for this talk, but pro, Hey, multiple teams wouin a championship.
I believe the Patroons at Empire may have gotten close
in twenty nineteen, maybe twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen. It's hard
of those basketball schedules moving over the Empire, and the

hopefully hy then and we could be viewing it completely different.

That you know, we wouldn't be easier on the grating,
but the success of what we deem to be successful
could be totally different. And I know this sounds wild,
but I kind of want that. Look, I kind of
want to with no disrespect to the accomplishments that have
been done this season. Yea, if you told me in
twenty twenty six that all the indoor and arena football
teams are all together and the Firebirds are playing at

the highest level, that the Patroons found a new level
of a professional basketball league to compete at and however
that comes together, that's not for me to figure out.
And the Valley Cats have a higher level than the
Frontier League, and in twenty twenty six, the bar has
been raised. There's new expectations. If that's even better for
the Capitol region. It's greatest winning is as greatest compete
it is. The next level could be just as exciting
