Speaker 1 (00:00):
Fox Sports nine eighty nine point nine. Fact, it's time
for the Top four four with Levac and guys.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah straight, did they all yell four? Did they?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Levac? I'm I was ready to say something. You didn't
even realize this. I would totally say this is a
compliment to what the Lavac and gods have become. People
were asking Ryan and Zach and uh Sean on Monday,
can I say four? Can I say four? I kind
of want to do it. I'm like, what a compliment
people want to do? The four in Lavak. I'm not

(00:36):
even making that up. They really ask I think still
they left a little something on the table. They tried
their best.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Yeah, I mean listen, not everybody can be that as
annoying as I can.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Hey, it's time for the Top four.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
At four it is gratia by Mohawk Honda, where they
always go out of their way to please you.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
That's what sport big story.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Let's talk about what is happening involving a college football
ledgend in a fourteen year player in the NFL. That
is quarterback Colt McCoy, former Texas Longhorn. Fourteen seasons in
the NFL, thirty seven year old officially retired today. Two
time Heisman finalists when he was all sitting in an

(01:15):
NCAA record forty five games won as a four year
starter for Texas. By the way, that expression right there,
four year starters the Texas quarterback may never happen again.
But I know that sounds really strong, but for real,
with the portal and nil and to have a four
year starter at any school, let alone Texas is incredible.

(01:36):
From the Browns to the Niners, to the New York Giants,
the Cardinals, the Commanders and more. Now moving to NBC,
he's gonna be a college football analyst. They'll start off
with Colorado Nebraska. It's gonna be a great game on NBC. Levak,
What do we make of the career of pult McCoy.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
I don't think we've ever wanted a player to be
a professional quarterback more than cal McCoy. Like, col McCoy
was the guy that you know, look he he was okay, right,
he was. He was a college level who's very very good,
pro level, good backup, you know, jumps the game for you.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
You're not freaking out too bad. But like.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
I remember seeing his name pop up, Oh well, it's
cal McCoy. They'll be all right, now, who needs Lamar Jackson,
It's cal McCoy.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Oh, who needs this cl mc cook.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
No, it's Andrew Locke. Col McCoy can handle that.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
No, he we for whatever reason, and it's probably just
the really cool name. And then with that that story
they always tell about helped save a guy's life when
he's fishing or something like that. Like we always believed
in cold McCoy far more than we should have. So
congratulations to you, col McCoy, returning a great name of
the stellar college career and a mediocre pro career into

(02:45):
even more money by doing announcing though, Yeah, col McCoy
should be a Texas legend. If someone had known nothing
about college football and they made up a story and
they said, all right, I'm gonna write a book. I'm
going to create a Texas high school football legend.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
All right, which is his name? How about Colt McCoy.
Let's start with the name having all the success in Texas.
And here's hopefully something that will change in the future.
When we talk about a value winning players when they
go to college in the NFL. There are some people
you said mediocre, some would say disappointing, some would say
below average. I don't know if we can use those ways,

(03:20):
those adjectives to describe a fourteen year NFL career, the
percentage of people who play fourteen years in professional sports,
Like you can kind of Colt McCoy and Reggie Bush,
maybe mark Ingram, a lot of those players who were
really good at college who played ten plus years, Like
that's a really good career. Levac's hands up, like we're

(03:41):
on a zoom right now.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Go ahead, levec all those other names you said.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
I can think of a couple of plays or moments
where I was like, Wow, that guy's awesome and he
belongs there. Give me a cult McCoy moment where he
was on the field and you were like, that guy's awesome.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
He belongs there.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Not one off the top of my head.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Per Se liost at it media like he was he
was a backup. He was a backup quarterback and did
it for a very long time. Very happy for him,
but at the same time, he disappointed a lot more
people than he impressed with his play at the NFL level.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
How's that.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
I hope that's all. That's very fair, and I hope
he's a good broadcaster. I think, I think I do
as well. I do get him. Let's move on to
later in the show. I want to talk about a
broadcaster who also is a Texas football legend there in Waco, Texas.
We'll get him later on. Let's talk about Cole McCoy's
former team and actually that other broadcasters formed team. It's
r G three enough TuS. Who's coming up later in

(04:37):
the show. A Washington Commander Jaden Daniels quarterback now starting
quarterback Dan Quinn making the announcement today. I'm not sure
if it was a shock to a lot of people.
Marcus Mariotto was in contention for that spot, but Daniels
is the number two overall picks starting for the Washington Commanders.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Back.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You've known this since July. This is my surprise team
in the NFL. I'm a little upset what happened today.
Did you listen to the Herd before us today with
Colin Coward?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I did not have an opportunity to.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Sorry, Colin Coward said his number one surprise team in
the NFL that's going to the postseason this year is
the Washington Commander Washington command Oh no, hey, thanks for
listening up with cow call. This is the second year
in a row where if people say, oh, you got
took Cowards last year, one of your favorite playces the
Cleveland Browns, but eventually you backed off it a little

(05:25):
bit and Cleveland was a surprise team and did well.
He said the Rams almost positive he had the Browns
last year, but maybe old Uncle Collins memories going on
him a little bit. Washington names the starter. He now
goes forward. Cowhard's on my side. Have you changed any
difference on how you're gonna view this Commander team? Now
that's official. The rookies the starter, and that old cow

(05:45):
Herd thinks. Washington, along with your co hosts, think they're
gonna be the surprise in the NFL season.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
I know, I mean, i'd like what they're doing. I
definitely like what they're doing. I'm not sure they're that
close the team the team that I'm not happy about.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I think Denver could be mine.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Looked awesome preseason, and.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Jared Steadham is is is a serviceable backup. Sean Payton,
you hate him, but he's a good he's a good,
good coach. I hate how good they're starting to look,
and I don't hate their new uniforms. So so I
Denver's my Washington.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I guess at this moment, I said, bon Nick looked
awesome in the preseason in moments, he also has looked
like a rookie oft times.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
In the preseason. He's only fifty.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
So the problem with the Denver Broncos and how people
view this team, there's some people who think the Broncos
could be terrible this season. You like him, This would
be a great game to play with.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Somebody.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
What was the Denver Bronco record last season? Off the
top of your head, if you can get it, I
know what my guests.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Would have been. Eight wins, right right on the money.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Levac Well, I would have guessed six. For the way
we viewed Sean Payton and Russell Willis did everything that
happened in Denver. Eight So what they get? Two games
are going to the postseason. Do you think your quarterback
plays better? And statistically and you like to remind me
of this statistically since stats actually weren't that bad. They
weren't like his performance in his stats seemed.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Like what he was told by his head coach. He
was all right, bone Knick's gonna be all right.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
His contract was so bad, that's the problem, and they
gave up way too much in that deal.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I'll tell you what, though, Bengals will suck and I
think the Chargers are coming at fourth.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
In the West.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
If I had to pick one team that confuses me
the most in the NFL right now, it is the
Cincinnati Bengals. Is that Like, that schedule is brutal, their
running backs are not better, their defense is gonna get
picked a part of two weeks, two weeks from today,
two inks from today is our NFL show.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
And that would be the Colts too though, because again,
like I don't you really think they're gonna be that
much better? Huh?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Like everybody's I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
That the Colts feels like fantasy football is getting in
the people's heads. Like everyone wants Anthony Richardson to do
so good. He's like the sneaky pick that you want.
Richardson had a good game, taking get two good games
in college? Now what do you wear? What do you
wear once again to Alabama? So that's pretty good? Hey,
two good games? You wore fifteen in Florida. I mean
it's a pretty good compliment.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
At some point this week, I want to do like
a new say called but why though? I think the
Banks are gonna win it all? But why though?

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Listen to this Wednesday Wednesday? Why you used to do
that familiar?

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Yeah, probably still happen across the.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Let's move on a story number two here thay they're
doing socially awkward media over there.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I missed that. That was one of my favorites.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Let's move on a storyum to the wide range of
games excluding one here baseball action tonight, including the Diamondbacks
taking on the Marlins. It's the six forty first hitch
doubted Ion Deep Pot Park? What Ion Lone Deepot Park?
That gets me every time we've been there. Red's Blue Jays,
seven oh seven, Pirates, Rangers, Angels, Royals, Rents, Astros, Twins,

(09:02):
padresen Raise, A's, White Sox, Giants, Mariners, Dodgers. A lot
of great games across the sleep. I want to focus
in on this matchup though, the seventy win Minnesota Twins
versus the seventy win San Diego padre Is at nine
to forty out on the West coast. San Diego Padracs
are what twenty and five since the All Star break?

(09:23):
They're only three games back. Now the Dodgers. The Twins
are just two games back of the Guardians back. Do
you see either one of these teams potentially even getting
to an NLCS or ALCS with the Twins and the
Padres because they feel like they're the same team, just
in different leagues.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
To me, I think this is the weirdest season ever
for records, Like he does.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Jeff Passen. You saw that tweet? Did you see it? No,
Jeff Passon just put out a tweet about that. He goes,
look at the records. This feels like one of the
weirdest years ever. We're we're on, We're in people's minds.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Today right now.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Did you see that?

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Like the White Sox have already been eliminated. It's a
record like it, It's like and it's a record from
before the wild cards.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
To be eliminated by this date.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
So like the there's one team in baseball that sucks
so bad that they're already out.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Of it, even with extra chanses.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Again in it, however, there's so many teams that are
like well above five hundred, like like well above five,
but nobody's above six hundred. Nobody's running away with nobody's
running away. There's just this lockjam of good teams. I
don't know if there's a great team.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Out there that this poised to be an all time
great postseason in baseball if this pace continues. You mentioned it,
Jeff Assen mentioned it an historic spot here with the
numbers in the math and how it's all ending up,
this is gonna be a really fun race of the finish.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
And you're Astros who I thought were dead.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
You said they were back, they fell off, and then
when we all agreed they were dead, they made up.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Fourteen games, four games on Seattle. What is going on?

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Gosh, I'm glad I didn't wager anything on the Estrous.
I declared them alive than dead.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
I have one season long wager that I'm I'm not
even competent in, but at least I've like, I feel
like I've got a shot, and that was judged to
lead the entire league at home runs. What she's doing
right now, But like Otani's creeping up and there's you know,
there's people comment.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Let's move on to story number one. It is the
Orioles and Mets. No Yankee games tonight. The Mets are
in action, taking on the ools again. Playoff one New
York Mets. You remember, like certain ballparks and no Fenway
Park is known for this. They have like the stainings
of every team out there, but like the old school standings,
not the electronic version, but just like sliding the numbers,
so said Magui used to do this.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
In ninety eight.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
You see the home run countdown in Bonds. I was
somewhere here in the studio we had a Mets playoff
picture because we always go to the standings for the Mets,
because Met fans want to know how close there. It's
just two games back right now when it comes to
that final spot overall in the wildcard so Padres up
three and a half, Diamondbacks two and a half, and
then the Braves so breams currently sitting in that spot

(12:07):
above the New York Mets, two games behind Atlanta, while
Baltimore and New York, as they feel like they've done
all season long, battling back and forth through the top
of the American League East Division. If Baltimore wins tonight
my math ends up correctly, they will be in first
place tonight, fun matchup between both teams who are in
contention right now and could play a big factor in

(12:29):
what their September in October looks like.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Thirty eight wins for the fifth wild card, thirty six.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
For the is the bleeve with the Mets need?

Speaker 2 (12:42):
I think? Okay, I'm reading this right.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Yeah, so basically they they need they need a lot
of help to get that the Yeah, they need help.
We'll just put it like that. They cannot get the fourth.
They're still alive for the the second wild card, the
fifth spot in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
How's that?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
It's for good? It's okay, still live.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I Google, I googled, I googled, nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Mets and Orioles still staying in the pace, still in
the mix for sure. And you mentioned all those things
about records and wild finishes and teams who were in
the base spent all factories and potentially what this postseason,
hopefully we'll look like for Mets fans and oriol fans
coming up in a few months.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Well, I don't care if ool fans who knows any
of those? What I do know is.

Speaker 4 (13:24):

I'm finding myself coming to Kayleb Williams fans because he's
gets so much hate on the internet.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, well he's different. We're not used to that.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
He had seven million views over the weekend of a
photo of him next to the rapper Lil Dirk. And
the reason why I got seven million views is because
people claimed that Caleb Williams was holding his hand in
the photo, but others like, he's holding a pair of sunglasses.
Why why do we keep doing this with Caleb Williams?
Did you just guys want to crush They because he's
allegedly holding hands with a rapper in a photo, not

(21:04):
his passes, not how he played a photo with a
rapper where he allegedly was holding his hand seven million views.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
The weird thing is, and I said this to you
when you know with the pink phone and the nail
polish and the pocketbook and what the first episode of
Hard Knocks, if.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
You can take it, go for it. But your number
one job in this world right now is to be
an NFL quarterback.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
And you know, if you want to be a spokesman
for inclusion, diversity, change, whatever it is, your ability to
do that will be far greater after you become a
sc step back. If you can handle the scrutiny and
the stupidity and the other stuff that are going to
come your way, go ahead. But if you me, I

(21:48):
don't know if I could do both at the same time,
learn an NFL offense while defending myself and telling people
why they're stupid and narrow minded. I so he clearly
at this moment, I mean, we're not in the regular season.
Ye don't get me wrong, But at this moment he
appears as though this is not too much for him.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
So go for it, do you That guy is gifted.
He's got some talent. Some of those throws are incredible.
We've got some news here from the internet. Levak even
off and now it's back to not only being the
radio host here on Fox Sports thinety five, nine to
nine eighty, but you're day to day the team president
of the Almity Firebirds. There's a story out today from
arenafan dot com, an arena fan that says this just

(22:29):
in an announcement is expected in September on the future
of the Arena Football League and its member teams. Billions
owners Steven Titus didn't respond to request confirming his commitment
to play as a part of the Arena Football League
in twenty twenty five. Let me go, let me go
back though I want to, yeah, because he because the
Billions outlaws then tweeted out we'll be playing football in

(22:49):
twenty twenty five, guaranteed. I'll start with this question. Are
there meetings set up in August? Like the timeline says September,
but I think you would know.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Are there meetings every week?

Speaker 1 (23:01):
There's meeting Okay, there's meetings every week, I didn't okay, coaches.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Meetings on Mondays.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
There's ownership and leadership councils on usually on Tuesday or Wednesday,
I bet upon the week. And then Fridays are either
coaches again or football o despending upon what needs to
be discussed that day. Ever, like ever since Jerry Kurrs
Gary Comms got involved, communication is strong within the league.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
So it's good. I love it. I love I mean
it's it makes me mad when I have to miss one.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Let me ask you this, because if August and there's
always weekly meetings that you just mentioned there. Okay, where
did this timetable of September come from? Why is September
being thrown out? I don't know if you can confirm
or deny that report, But is there some deadline I
don't know about involving September.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Why is September being tossed out?

Speaker 2 (23:53):
There? That's a good question I ask people test tossed
in September?

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Okay, listen, I don't know if that was a a
stadium leasing thing or like rosters are gonna be set
by then, or you need something setember.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
The final rules on rosters, I believe we're discussed today. Basically,
what it comes down to you is if if if
we're September is an interesting month. Let's let's be clear.
If you were going to say if there was going
to be an announcement, if there was gonna be a

(24:28):
major announcement, I would want it sooner than later so
that you can put all your ducks in a row.
I mean, as you know, we joined the league last year,
what was mid to late October? It was mid October
we joined the league last year. That puts you kind
of behind the eight ball to get your tickets and
your sponsorships and all the things going. So if if

(24:49):
there was a major announcement, September would be a smart
time to do it, you know. But but a major
announcement could be a new sponsorship, it could be a
this that I I remember, I wasn't this last week.
So if there was some major I was on a
call for a called Man's earlier today. But none of
this was said.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Nothing.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
There was nothing like is everyone does everyone have the
the best suits ready for when we announced everything in September?

Speaker 2 (25:15):
No, that was that didn't happen today, And.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
My selfishly not just for the capitalies in sports and
trying to get information to help out five on eight fans,
but also, hey, Levac might be busier than I realized,
and we have four live shows this week? Do I
need do I need to adjust my schedule? Zach Junior?
Are you listening? Do you you hop in for a
half hour tomorrow? Tomorrow we're at Mohawks Chevy. Wednesday we're

(25:36):
at Saratoga. We added that while you're gone, what do
we do to start something? Once we have our makeup
show from the rain out show. Oh so we're up
at the track on Wednesday, Yeah, and then Thursday we're
at Rivers and Friday we're at back at the Track.
Is the only time man studio for the rest.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Of the week.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
I want to tell somebody, you're in a football No,
you just put it on speaker during the show, give
us out of insight.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Well, just I you wouldn't want to be in these
meetings like they're not well, no, because there's not. They're
not sexy like sometimes they are. Sometimes people fight over
what they care about. But the meetings that I have
been in most recently is a very concise group of
people who are who are going to play football, you
know what I mean? Like it's and and a lot

(26:22):
of contingency plans are talked about, like well what if
this happened, what if that happened? Because we all went
through last year where things moved, nobody wants to deal
with that again.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Nobody wants to go out to their fan base.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
And say, hey, here's your schedule for twenty twenty five,
and then come back two weeks later and go this
is a little we changed the thing, and then a little.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Which this is the thing.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
So right now it's it's a lot lees No, that's
what it is not knowing Steve Titus very well.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
He's a good dude, Okay, you know much more than
I do.

Speaker 7 (26:59):
Not.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I think he got lucky in them all, you know,
about a month ago.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
But whatever, not knowing him, and for those who are
watching some of that social media stuff go back and
forth today and him responding to the reports, some would assume,
and I would be one of these people. Okay, they're
the champions of the Arena Football League. They haven't made
a decision of what they want to do or they're
saying they're gonna play in twenty twenty five. I'll use
a cross sport comparison to feel out what I'm feeling

(27:25):
with this. We're the champs. We get to call the
shots now. If we want to play in the Arena
Football League, we will. We're the defending champs.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
You know.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I love this. I've used this before on the air,
so I have to use it with Billions now the
lineal champion. We're the best arena football league in the country.
Someone's got to come get the championship all but he
has had that right for a long time. So I've
used that on the air bunch. But now Billions can
take their chest out and say, hey, we want to
be wooed now we're the champs. We want the fight
in Vegas, we want the main event. I don't know

(27:54):
if that's what Steve Titus is doing. Maybe you know
him better than me, but it seems like seeing that
on social media, fans would say, oh, that looks like
they're flexing.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
A little bit here. I think Steve Titus is a
very smart man. He's a lawyer.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
I think what has happened is whoever has started these
rumors about announcements, whether or not there's even a schedule
of announcements put together. Yet a guy like Steve Titan
is not stupid enough to go, We're not part of
a stupid announcement.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
All of a sudden's announcement in September, he looks like
an idiot.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
We're you know we he He also can't say nothing
because his fans need to know what's going on, So
he did the right thing.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
He went out and said, hey, look, hey guys, we're
playing football.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Okay, you need to know more than that. You need
to wait, because that's the only thing I can guarantee
you right now.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Is we're playing football. And I can tell you that.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
That's it's like, we are here working very diligently because
we're playing football.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
That's the deal. That's it. Like and I like the people.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
I like you when you got a Titus who he
has not been afraid to go after everybody who needs
to go after. He is, he's not been afraid to
defend the people who need to be defended.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
You know.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
Our ownership is the same way. It's it's everything everything
is good. There's there's my my my presidential statement. Hey, everyone,
everything is good. Don't worry about a thing.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Can I get a stay Tunedo? Get that as well?
Announcements are on the way. How about that about for
the next four.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Weeks, one million announcements are on the way, you know,
schedules and sponsorships and uh, you know every there's one
million announcements on the way.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
That's a lot. You don't want to not get anymore
out of you saw talk about Lillian Davis bon Sellers.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
I don't have it, I like I said, I think,
I listen. I think the most important thing to remember
is we're gonna play football.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
And if it's if something happens here where you gotta
you gotta do this instead of that is zig instead
of zag. At the end of the day, we're playing football.
We we love our fans, we want we want another
crack at Billings. I don't necessarily want to play in
a mall ever again, but you know, way whatever.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
So the last two weeks have been this, Darius Prince
not retired, but people thought he retired. Sean Lockett actually
did retire, but now I'm gonna try to talk him
into out unretiring because he's already unretired before. And now
we've got Internet rumors of something happening potentially in September.
And Lavac may or may not be on a call
tomorrow during the show, but probably won't but maybe I
mean that's I mean, pre I got it.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
But if if you're if the announcement to do with
the sun coming up tomorrow, just know the sun's coming
up everything else where you're gonna see it from how
it's gonna happen. Is there gonna be a rainbow?

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Two? I can't answer that. But the sun will come up.
We are gonna play football.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
There you go, and you're gonna love Lillian David Fagelers
located at the shops, but Lavac knows.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
I know.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
We love to listen the entire crew over there at
the shops and Will and if you're making that road
trip up north, Like we talked about some of the
rain and how it's affecting everybody this summer, it's been
a little less rain than usual. But if it's changed
your plans, make your plans to stop in the shops
and will. Then Lily and David Fine Jewelers, look, Lavac
and I earlier in the show. We're talking about some
of our investments, replacing the sports world where you got
the long fantasy football drafts coming up, the road trips.

(31:14):
Take care of her, whether her is the girlfriend, the fiance,
the wife. Hey, I need the next five hours to
build a dynasty. Here's a wonderful bracelet thanks to Lillian
David Fine Jewelers. Hey, I want a huge parlay. Here's
a wonderful ring thanks to Lillian David Fine Jewelers. Guys,
this stuff matters. If you want those hours to watch football,
you want the weekends to yourself with your boys, Lily
and David Fine Jewlers can help you purchase that. That's right,

(31:38):

I bought you that engagement gift. I was supposed to
get you forever ago because of gambling. Lillian David Fine
Jewler's supports whatever you have to do to make sure
your relationship is going well, whether you're a budget with you,
that's of course budgeting, working in within what works for
her style, her fashion, and more. We love to listen

(31:58):
the crew over. It's Lillian David Fine. And you can
show your fiance, your girlfriend, and your wife some of
that selection on their Facebook page right now. Family owns
and operated business, mind Engageming, wedding band and more. All
from the Lulin David Fine Julius. I still want to
hear about your Disney trip.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Hey Tom Nolty, Hey guys, who's the new guy on
the show today. He's pretty good. Thanks Tom, Love you, buddy.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I want to hear about Disney. We got to give
out our home run hard lay pick because we're hot.
We've hit four in a row. We got close out
hour number two. Back and guys, the Voice of the
Capitol Eave and sports Fan Fox Sports ninety five, nine.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
And nine eighty.

Speaker 12 (32:31):
Get ready too, It's Avac and guzz On ninety five nine,
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Signing for the Play of the day.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
I hope everybody's having a great one, and I'm just man,
it's weird. It's brought to you by Mohawks Chevrolete will
be there tomorrow. I'll be there by one tomorrow getting
some work done on the scar Joe the service. I
love going over there together. Let's drive a bulk Chevrolet
where they all go out of the way to please you.

(33:01):
That's not the weird part. No Yankees tonight, So that
hurts my that hurts my play other day. But you
and I are in a Dinger Survivor pool, ding ding
ding ding Er And what are we in?

Speaker 2 (33:13):
What week?

Speaker 10 (33:13):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Week five?

Speaker 4 (33:15):
So you and I have been right four times so far,
or for four baby cast those tickets, and we've agreed twice,
I think right. And we don't tell each other before
we make our picks. So that's just everybody knows like
we're not we're not collaborating because at some point I'm
gonna want you to lose, You're gonna want me to lose.
So that that being that said, I would like to, uh,

(33:37):
I would like to tell you that who my play
is for that Okay, I'm doing a drum roll.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
No, but you're gonna do it anyway. Uh I. I
haven't used him yet. I used Judge last week. That
worked out great. I'm gonna go with the traveling Side show,
give me show hey Otani?

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Woh uh okay. I made that reaction for two reasons. One, Otani.
Somebody hear that play and be be like, oh wait
a second. Otani's like using the Chiefs or the Niners
in are Survivor pool. You gotta use him till later.
I like the play for Otani because if you don't
like anybody else that week, you do it. But I
know your opinion of show Aotani. You just played the
circus music. I wouldn't say you're a big fan of Otani.

(34:25):
Does that make feel even weird that you're rooting for
somebody you wouldn't consider you usually root for?

Speaker 2 (34:30):
In this it's different, I definitely am not. It's not
what I was.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
It's not what I was expecting to do today, to
be fired because I was gonna save him late because
he's gotta hit one like he hits home runs.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Really well.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
He's only plus two ten today. I think he has
the shortest odds today to hit a home run.

Speaker 8 (34:48):
I do.

Speaker 10 (34:50):
You know.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
I respect him as a hitter. It's just the overall
garbage that he's like some kind of superhero that I
just I can't. I can't handle.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
I just can't.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
I can't the fact that there's a point where some
people thought they would rather have him the Aaron Judge.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
It's silly to I.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Think it's still there. I think there's some people who
still would say that today.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Well that some people are still silly to me, how's that?
How's that feel?

Speaker 1 (35:11):
Silly? Is a very nice insult for well on a
run days and I'm still tired.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
But he's just not he's very good.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna teall he's not very
very good. But he's not the Judge. He's not Judge Judge.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Did Boston didn't advances? No he didn't. Oh no, is
that why he's not talking to us in the chat? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Probably he's He also fired off a big time home
run partly to catch up, So I don't know if
he'd been firing his home run parlays every day and
he's like, all right, I gotta catch up today, hang on,
let me fire off another one and another one and another,
so hopefully he's doing fine. Hopefully he goes Okay, I
have Bryce Harper this week. Bryce Harper in the Phillies.
They do not play this today. They do not play today,

(35:56):
but they play coming up this week. They play the
Brain and the Royals, two really good teams that the
Phillies want to find ways to right the ship a
little bit because that has been as easy this summer
as that had been earlier for the Phillies. They've got
to start with two really competitive matchups. So I'm not
gonna give you the play today with Harper because it's
not posted yet. There with phill da mar to get

(36:18):
that game out there involving Philadelphia. You know, I feel like,
just talking this out loud with you, I don't think
I made a mistake yet, but I feel like.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
If you're gonna like I like that one. Though I
like your pick, I.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Feel like I like it too. But I feel like
the best way to play this would have been like, Okay,
if you get a team who plays eight times in
a week, shouldn't you like max out yet?

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Bats?

Speaker 1 (36:36):
I know that's you can't really.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Even do that. Well, that's what I was looking for.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
So part of what I've done so far is I
look for the teams that have makeup games or the
four game series where you're playing the full week, or
if you happen to face both the Blue Jays and
the White Sox, and that happened two weeks in a row,
where I was able to grab somebody who's playing both
of them because they give up more home runs than
anybody else in the league. So those are the things
I've been looking for. This is the first week where

(37:02):
the other things haven't clicked. Well, actually second week. Last
week I did it because I knew the only game
I was gonna pay attach to was the Yankeys because
of Disney. This week, I'm doing Showy because he he's
an outlier.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
My thought on Harper is he's hit only three home
runs the past month. So since July twenty third, Bryce
Harper has only gone deep three times. My hope is
that he's just due, and he hasn't hit one since
right August ninth was the last time he hit one,
So you were just hoping big games, he gets all
jacked up, he smashes one deep. Also, you know, shout

(37:36):
out to Major League Baseball for over the weekend. They
had the Players the Weekend. I don't know if you
saw some of these clips that are going viral of
like players using pencils as bats and being more creative
with their jerseys and all those moments the players the weekend,
which is a really cool idea, but of course there's
always people who scoop it and.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Say, like, why isn't this every weekend? Why is in
baseball baseball?

Speaker 1 (37:58):
I thought it was cool. I thought moments were fun
for players. But I like Harper. But because he's not
playing any that means I got offer up a second one. Uh,
let's do this. Ooh yeah, I'm doing this. Mets are
still a favorite, and we talked about it in the
top four to four, but the Mets are still listened
as a favor right now against the Oriols at home,
seven to ten. First pitch, Baltimore is a dog on

(38:19):
the road plus one point fifteen. Trevor Rogers on the mountain,
the lefty for the O's rarely. If the O' has
been a dog this season, they've been a dog a
lot the last years before twenty twenty three. Give me
plus money on my Orioles tonight on the road, right, hey,
lovec I'll even toss this out here. This might be
an in game play for me. If Baltimore gets down
like one nothing or Buffalo, my gosh, Baltimore's down three

(38:43):
to one, I might go in game and hope the
Mets bullpen blows it.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
Don't bring up bullpens right now? All right? All right?

Speaker 1 (38:50):
How dare you give mean in game Orioles come from
behind victory? But I'll play it twice.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
Tonight, sho hey o'tani home run plus two And That's
what I was looking at Kyle Swarba this week, just
so you know.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
But I didn't love the matchups.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
So I think your idea of go with the guy
who kind of cooled off for a little bit, see
what he see if he he bounces back against Atlanta,
who they hate, and you know, I like it.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
I like your pick.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
I do.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
I think he did a good job.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
And for those who like how come these guys always
talk about this home run?

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Partly?

Speaker 1 (39:23):
I will tell you this if you're hearing it now,
twenty twenty five comes around and I'm trying to make
our sales. Tea might be a fun thing to do
on social media more it is so much fun. It
is so much fun following this.

Speaker 4 (39:33):
It's fun once you get it, Yes, because like Brent
Rooker took me to what Sunday I needed, like it
was he had, like he's I think at least he
let off with it. But yeah, when you get it,
like like if I get Otani tonight, I can just
sit back and relax and laugh at you guys the
rest of the week.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
That's great. Poor poor Boston Dan lost twice. He does
not love this game the way we do.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
It's not as fun when you're not winning, he said
about a lot of things at sports.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Yeah. Absolutely, all right, So there's the play of the day. Like,
so we haven't done it. Do you want to talk?

Speaker 8 (40:06):
Do you do?

Speaker 2 (40:06):
You just not want to talk about Disney here?

Speaker 5 (40:09):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (40:09):
No'm I mean I thought no, we kept bringing it
up and then you just stop bringing it up.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
While I hurt myself.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Yes, let's talk about Disney. What do you mean you
hurt yourself?

Speaker 2 (40:20):
I messed my back up bad on on Monday.

Speaker 4 (40:27):
I don't know exactly what I did to I slipped.
I don't know if it's the bead, but so I'm
like hobbling into the in Epcot. So Epcot was was Tuesday,
Magic Kingdom was Monday. I'm like hobbling it and this
is this is what I'm gonna get the most heat for.
I know I'm gonna get heat for this, but it
was the weirdest moment of my life. As I'm walking

(40:48):
through and I hear these two guys go, well, as
long as they've got enough of them left, because this
guy's gonna need one. Look at the way he's walking.
And I looked at him and there's two like young dudes,
looks like college dues. And I go, I go excuse me.
They go, oh, no, no, no offense. We just there's
only a couple of those those scooters. You're gonna get one, right,

(41:09):
And I'm like, I hadn't considered it. Like, bro, we
get scooters every time we come to Epcot. We drink,
we drive around the scooters. They're like, it's like eighty bucks,
It's totally worth. It's coolest thing you've ever done. And like,
look at you, are you fake walking? Like are you hurt?
I'm like, dude, I'm I can't. I can't feel my hip.
My back an is so bad. He goes, dude, come on,

(41:30):
they got plenty of Come on, come on, these two
like college kids or whatever early twenties, talked me into
getting a mobility scooter to drink around the world.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
And it was the funnest time.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
I ever had.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Yeah, I know, you were hyper around the world.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
I can't believe I don't have a video, a picture,
a selfie.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
Because it was weird because I'm a fat guy. So
everybody's like, oh, he's in it because he's fat. I
was in it because I hurt my back and then
I was and like the best part was I heard
my back early on Monday, So like the kids were
like dealing with me the whole time, like, dude, just go,
just go go do what you're gonna do. I'm gonna
go here, I'm gonna go there. So the fact that
I was everywhere and they're like, and every time I
try the thing has adjustable speed on it. The kids

(42:13):
were turning it down on me because they couldn't keep
up with me. I was having a ball ass, like
like there's videos. Like my daughter was their first time,
so she's like, all right, you know, we're in Mexico.
First thing, I'm doing this frozen margarita and then we're
in this one. So like I got a point where
anytime she was standing in open area and she's doing it,
I would just drive by.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
I'm like, what's up, what's up? But yeah, no, so
I did.

Speaker 4 (42:36):
So I've decided at some point in our adult lives,
you myself, Boston Dan, I don't know, we need at
least four maybe more people to go rent mobility scooters
at Epcot and drink around the world on them. It
was And the only downside is you were instantly the

(42:56):
pack meal Like every time somebody, oh, here, I don't
carry this anymore. Like I'm like, my my nephew and
his wife show up. She's like, oh sweet, puts all
her stuff in the basket. I'm like, it's my basket.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Eat meat.

Speaker 4 (43:09):
Like So like I was, I don't know, I don't
care what people thought of me. After a while, I was,
I mean, I drove it in to eat dinner. We
had a pachi, drove it right in. You guys know,
where do I park this? Like down the hall place
like where I was.

Speaker 7 (43:26):
I was.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
It was the it was like having a it was
like having a good cart track at Disney. I feel
like you feel like you broke up when you had
to get rid of it, like you wish you could
have taken it to all but he with you, like
so many other things could have been done with this.
You had a great time.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
I wasn't fat, like because my back still hurts, like
it's now the other side that hurts. Guy, I was
compensating for that side. If I wasn't fat, I would
drive one everywhere.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
It was so much. It was just just like like
you just have I'm just zipping around.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Did you meet back up with your fellow scooters, like
your college guys you found like they.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
Went the other way because I guess they do. They must.
I think they're local, they must go to like I
didn't get the whole story.

Speaker 8 (44:04):
So we met.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
We drove past each other with like a knowing glance.
In Germany, I was like that they're.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
Like you love it.

Speaker 4 (44:10):
I'm like I love it, and they're like, ah, they're
way zooming in and out of each other, like running
people over.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
I was. It was.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
It was hysterical, Like I said, I I I know
that people were just like, oh, fat, I.

Speaker 4 (44:23):
Gonna hover around big. You know that's a cliche, and
to a degree it was. But it was so much
stinking fun because like of all like like when you
go to Animal Kingdom, you're gonna do the Safari, You're
gonna do the Yaddy, you know, Epcot, Guardians of Galaxy,
and then I know, maybe Space Mountain. The rest of
the time, it's all about drinking and eating. I had

(44:45):
There was a dude in one of the one of
the countries. He was like joking around. He was like
one of the cast members, and he went, I didn't
know we allowed drinking and driving here, And I went,
did you know that snitches get stitches? And my my
niece in law, my my nephew's wife. She starts to us,
did you just threaten a man? I'm like, did he
threatening to te on me?

Speaker 7 (45:07):
Like it was?

Speaker 4 (45:08):
I'll tell you right now. It sounds crazy a little
bit like people are listening right now, like dude, what
are you doing?

Speaker 2 (45:13):
But it was so staid.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
If you've ever done the Around the World at Disney
at Epcot and you were like, oh, that was a
lot of fun. I enjoyed it, and you're like, I
just wish there was one more little like component to
make it even more fun. It's the mobility scooter. It's
the it's that thing.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
This should be promoted. This should be like, hey, oh.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
Disney don't want no part of it. They don't want
people knowing this thing.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Then oh Disney don't want but Disney wants thirty of
me driving around.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
Loaded like.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
Backing up, excuse me, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
It was so and like it's just it was it.

Speaker 4 (45:49):
It took my fun because my daughter was fun to
watch her and she did great jobs. She only drank
with like one purse. She did the water handle, the
heat well, all the things. I was like worried about
her first time trying to do it, and and then
at the end, I was like, I was like, you
wish you had a scooter too.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
She's like, I didn't wish I had a scooter.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
I was like, oh, for your birthday, we cracked the code.
If we did this on TikTok, it would go viral
of what people don't realize the secret Disney hacked, the
Epcot hacket.

Speaker 2 (46:14):
You hacked?

Speaker 5 (46:15):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (46:16):
Are there other rides like the cool Part? I know
when you were there, they announced they have like the
Villain theme park is coming in the future. You did Universal.
I feel like, just as it is, they've got a
New World coming to like, yeah, the Harry Potter Something World,
Well there's two.

Speaker 4 (46:30):
There's Harry Potter places all over, but there's a whole
nother like right now, it's Island's Adventure and Universal Studios
are like their two parks. They have a third park combine,
which'll be it's the Something Universe. I can't eve remember
what it's called, but it's it's gonna be more like
the bigger movies.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
So the last time I had gone to Disney, I
think it was two thousand and seven, and then then
go back till twenty eighteen, sided like an eleven year difference.
Yours is pretty close to that. Think you went in
twenty fifteen, and then your first one last year, and
then we went this year. Okay, so you know that's
still probably least My question. Are you blown away sometimes
by the tech of some of the rides that have advanced, Like, wow,
I have to do this. This ride is like insane

(47:08):
of what you're able to do at some of these parks.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
Now Guards the Galaxy, the was it the Rise of Resistance?
The Rise of the Resistance for Star Wars it was, Yeah,
there was a lot, I mean so cool, and then
we didn't do Magic Kingdom this time because that's more
like the Family Park. But the Tiana Rye we want
to do like so if when we go back, we'll
make sure we have magicated them. But I was like, dude,
we're doing four parks, so if you want to universal,

(47:31):
we're not doing we got one's gotta go away because
I want a pool day. So we did a pool day.
That was such a smart move. Felt so much better
by Thursday, hanging out of the pool. Ordered groceries from
the local Walmart for the room, so we had snacks
and stuff ready to go.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Let's say I've got this plans. Now I need a
mobility scooter and and just and some delivery groceries. You know,
get some some seltzers in the room to relax with
by the pool. You're living the dream.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
You had an awesome time. That is really cool to
hear that the rides are fun, that the Epcot hack
has been figured out. Oh stick, take that we have
the groceries delivered us Florida.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
You hear that.

Speaker 1 (48:15):
That makes me excited. Dude, Hopefully you guys get to
go back again next year. If she's hope, it's give
me next year Okay, I spent a lot of money.
I spent money I don't have, so maybe, you know,
we'll see. I told them if they if they pony
up a certain amount of money for next year, I'll pay.

Speaker 4 (48:29):
I'll cover the rest. But I can't do what I
did this year because this year was twenty first birthday.
Hasn't asked for anything in a long long time. All right,
let's make it happen. I would think maybe maybe two years.
But also to your point too, you want to wait
until they till they do more stuff, because the more
they do, the more fun it is to see it

(48:50):
all new again, you know, unless like if like you guys,
if if if the Gozlowski clan went next year, we
might tag along.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
We are a far way away from Disney. I know
my parents don't like me saying that. My wife kind
of gets it. We got a wayste to go. Well,
you you need the kid to enjoy it. Yeah, kids
are too young right now. And uh, as you mentioned,
it's expensive take care going here. We got we got
some stuff going on here, A cheap, a cheap. I
think my parents still think it's nineteen ninety nine prices

(49:20):
in twenty twenty four, for Disney. Not the case.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
I mean, if they want to pay, well, then all
your kids are the right age and we should all go.

Speaker 1 (49:27):
How are those future wagers doing?

Speaker 2 (49:29):
By the way, Yes, yeah, how's that? PS? Five?

Speaker 1 (49:32):
We're closer? Are we started?

Speaker 2 (49:35):
Are we sure?

Speaker 1 (49:35):
I think?

Speaker 2 (49:37):
Are you sure? Are you?

Speaker 4 (49:39):
But I will say too? Like Integrated Sleep Center life saver?
Like you know you talk about the hacks. How about
the hack of not listening to me?

Speaker 2 (49:47):
Hacking?

Speaker 4 (49:48):
I don't make all these noises. That's the mouthpiece. That's
the Integrave Sleep Center. That's doctor Fred Dreer. That's how
that comes together. That's how that happens, doctor and the
team over the Integram Sleep Center. I went in, answered
some question, dis tasted a sleep study.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
The whole nine.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
Turns out I have an obstructive sleep avenua, severe obstructive
sleep avenue. So you're not breathing at night. That's why
you're having the crazy dreams. That's why nobody wants to
share a room. That's why the missus is waking up
on the couch. It's or you're waking up on the
couch with Bruce ribs from her going get out of here.
It's all because of that that sleep avenue and a
mouthpiece can be your savior. Keeps your airway open, no hoses,

(50:25):
no wires, easy to clean, easy to travel with. I
take mine everywhere I go. You can as well. Doctor
Fredreer and the Integrative Sleep Center in Balls at spot
five win eight eight eighty five six point eight five.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
Give him a call and hope you sleep better. I'll
hope you sleep better.

Speaker 4 (50:39):
Two the third hour, and it appears God's's top twenty
five of pain.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
Coming up next.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
