Speaker 1 (00:00):
Happy Monday, everybody. It is Levac, guys, and we don't
start a Monday show without help from our friends from
c DTA. It is the CDTA kick Starter, that's right.
Somehow guys decided it was fun to have Jeff come
up with ten quick stories because I made you come
up with four every day. Well he's five or whatever.
That's a story for another time, maybe the future.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Who knows it's right?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
You know what, I want to start off differently, but
I'm not gonna. I read the sheet today, so I'm
gonna hold off I wanted I want to do. My
wife is not happy with me right now. She said,
this is how you should start the show today.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Happy life. You want to chase things out, do it.
I'm your beautiful wife sent me a sweet text this morning.
I almost cried.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
So there's a couple of people, a couple of you.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
You know that I actually have feelings I haven't eaten yet,
and you're you're picking at them today and I love
you for it, but stop.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
It all right? Number ten. I thought this was amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I think this is one of those situations where yes,
you can go ahead and pooh pooh what Zach Wilson
did in the final preseason game. But I think if
you do that, you negate the fact that the kids
talented and maybe with the right guidance, could go somewhere.
Zack Wilson sixteen to twenty five, two hundred and fifty
yards passing, three total tds, no interceptions, and a passer

(01:15):
rating guys of one twenty three point nine. Damn near
perfection from former Jack quarterbacks Zach Wilson.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
A lot of people are poo pooing Zach Wilson. Like
you said, Lavac, A lot of people poo pooing his performance.
Add me to the list people who are pooh pooing
their performance.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, you've never liked him, No, I have. You've never
liked him.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
I liked him when he was covering against Boise State
during the COVID season. That's what I like Zack Wilson.
But he's played with adults in the first adult season.
He played well again where the defensive back didn't pick
off one of the touchdowns. So he played well well
against very very bad professional football player.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I choose to be positive, and I think that he's
shown you that he still has gifts and abilities. He's
at least third string in the NFL. How do you
like that at least third string?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I agree, yeah, he might hear second string. He might
be he's a top ninety quarterback in the NFL. I'll
give you that.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
He's at worst practice squad, and that's better than us.
Who's better than Goz? No boy, we zero of the
NFL season, coming at number nine right here, But simply
because I already want to say, goz one and Oh
sniffed out Georgia Tech over Florida State months ago. I
think when the schedule came out, goz circled this one
said this is my play. I rode with you, but

(02:29):
I kept my mouth shut because normally that doesn't go
well for us when we both jump on the same one.
I also liked the over that game fell short of that.
I was hoping for a little overtime love on that,
but goz one and Oh on his big college plays.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Thank you, my friend, and also thank you to nineties
Kid on Twitter who tweeted me after that and tagged
our friend Ryan McCarthy and wrote, I know I drink
a lot, but did I actually hear Gaz say Georgia
Tech money line?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
And he got it right?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, nineties kid, like Levac said weeks ago, this was
the play.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
It felt great. I was with week zero.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
It was an odd week zero, but that's what you
gotta hope for in a week zero. No, I did
not make it to the Hawaii kickoff. Jack on Twitter there,
I fell asleep like a father with it was a Veno.
You know veno at eleven o'clock on a Saturday.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
It's Veno.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Good for you.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
I thought I was gonna be good to keep it
to Hawaiian midnight kickoff. Nope, Montana State money Line didn't
have it. I had Georgia Tech Baby, and Week one
is just around the corner. Thank you for the weirdness
that was Week zero, smu acc pick it look great.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I'm gonna piggyback in here that I got to hang
out with coach Greg Gyatuosa for you Albany a little
bit on Saturday during Great Day and Utopia twenty twenty four.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Love that guy.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
He's This team looks just in like Jim shorts and
shirts after working out all day. This is the biggest
team he's ever had, the big I mean the largest,
massive humans. I didn't win a lot of money for
college football. My week zero a little different than goss.
I didn't win a lot of money for college football.
My week zero a little different than Gosses. I didn't
win a lot of money. Moving on to number eight.

(04:06):
Go rounder may guaranteed to miss four games?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
What does that do to you?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Early third rounder? May guaranteed to miss four games?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
What does that do to you? That hurts me a lot.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
This is unfortunately for some fantasy football managers.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
They won't touch him.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Now if unfortunate, everyone should not touch him, because if
I get him in the fifth or sixth round, I'm
gonna be thrilled.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
If you're in a dynasty league, if you're in a
keeper league, it's more so keeper than dynasty. For this,
you hope you've got one of the difference. Dynasty would
be like you have a whole roster filled with players
like ten or eleven guys. I consider anything more than
five players going with Sean Watson, Browns kind of need them.
They might meet him with whatever's going on with Seawan Watson.
Browns kind of need him. They might meet him with

(04:48):
whatever's going on.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
With Seawan Watson.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I'm just telling you right now, this is one of
those situations where I probably should keep my mouth shut.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
But if you think about the fact, how bad.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
You're gonna need a stuf running back.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
By week five.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
You listen, you go two and two in the first
two weeks, and then you dominate the rest of the
time because Nick Chubb is doing Nick jump things.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Be good.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Chubby all right, number seven on the list. The Bills
lose thirty one to twenty six to the Panthers. This
is one of those textbook preseason games where you got
to see a touchdown drive out of the starters for
the Panthers and the Bills like there was. It was
at one point it was eleven dudes's name Bill. That

(05:32):
just they just found eleven dude's name Bill, and they
let them play part part of the game.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
They were literally the Bills.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
They were all from Buffalo, so the Buffalo Bills. The
Bills didn't care about this game.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I told myself I was gonna stop opening random messages
on Facebook as direct messages, But then I got a
little tentphed. Over the weekend, Adam t on Facebook busted
out an old part of the interruption segment something or
nothing the Bills. That's all you wrote, that's all you wrote.
Something or nothing bills.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I think what that means. I think what Adam and
maybe I should stop opening thus. Yeah, what I.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Think Adam meant was they're not playing very well. Is
this something or nothing? It's not nothing? It is not nothing.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
It is nothing Nothing bills are gonna be just fine
kids the bills.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
One week from today. And think you and I will
have a different answer when our NFL preview show.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Well, I'm guaranteeing with you base on we just said
to each other, I'm.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Moving out a number six of the CDC A DraftKings
kickstart THEVA guys here with you on a Monday live
from this.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
CDT Toys CDC.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Wait wait, that's not cc GT Toys.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
There's too many letters.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Ah, nope, still just twenty six of the uh the
GT toys do this toys with the Z number six
Jets top Giants ten six in the I wrote it
down as a stoopy Bowl, but I think you have
a better name for it, the poopy Bowl. The poopy
Bowl is direct. I knew none of these players. I
just it was.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
I tried to watch it.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
And then I literally went, you know, now, you know
some good some football is better than no football.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
No, that's not accurate. That's that's not accurate. Ten to
six and.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Wow, just wow. I think what you saw here is
the basis of what these two teams are trying to be.
And they're both trying to be tough, push you around
the field teams. Jets are just a little tougher, a
little more push or when you get down to their
fifth trader.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Maybe I'm the only one who thought about this, but
consuming some Jets Giants football, I kept thinking, like, you know,
a lot of people don't like the Pro Bowl, A
lot of people don't like the All Star weekend because
they complain about the effort and the product and it's
not as good as everything else. No one's complaining yet
about the preseason, because if you just want the NFL
to return, I kept thinking about the Pro Bowl watching
that game of ooh, this is not the same level

(07:40):
of what I'm used to.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Ooh, this isn't very good.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I know you said it's better than nothing, not much
better than nothing.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
And listen, let me just tell you how much I
say it's not better than nothing. A whole nother number.
So that was number six, right, number five?

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Thank god?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
The preseason NFL is over. It's over, I will say.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
The life say is if you've paid for the NFL
Plus package the app, you can watch all these things
condensed out of thirty forty minutes. So like for me,
I wanted to see the Raiders play the Niners. It
was the Niners starters versus the Raiders, who know not
even the maybe the colony Raiders and I know that.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
We're the wolf back now, but still it was.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
It was not a good game, but the Raiders still
ended at a tie, which is even weirder. But again,
the preseason is officially over. We now wait was it
ten days? And then the NFL regular season kicks off
and everything changed.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
I also have an NFL Plus the suscription and no,
we're not kissing up to Scott Hansen, so as people
email us back and get him on the show this week.
But mine's a monthly payment. I think i'll start mind
September first. I don't know if I'm gonna go back
and watch it condensed preseason games.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I do the yearly. I do the yearly because it's
a little cheaper. That is, I did it last year.
All right, So there you go, the preseason over ten
days until the kick off September fifth. So at this point, everyone,
you really don't want to hear your team's name in
the news. You don't want to hear unless you're the
Cowboys and it's like, okay, we signed everybody, unless you
still don't.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Know your starting quarterback.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Because from here on out, if you hear your team's name,
it is most likely injury related. So from here on out,
I don't want to hear about the Raiders. I will
point one thing out though, for everybody who thinks Gardner
minshe was just one hundred percent the starter for the Raiders.
Did you notice they didn't play O'Connell either, just saying
I didn't notice that.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
You're saying, let's.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Go, let's see number four.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I like Collas would not fit for primetime. That's what
originally the cast of Satellite was known as was the
not fit for primetime players. That's why they were on
so late, not fit for primate Guys, you're probably erupting
over this deon Sanders banning a dude from from from
those that the Denver Press, or over the hell of
the Denver Post. Yeah, the Denver Post banning a dude
because he said he's out to get him.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
Get them guys, I.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Guess you we're kind of right, is the Denver Press.
But he writes for the Post. How is this allowed?
How hockn you?

Speaker 2 (09:59):
We just not showing up now.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Some of the stuff that that guy did, right is
very over the top, like a couple of cheap shots.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Some of the things I.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Don't even want to read them because they're so ridiculous
to be like, God's just made those up.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
But Deana's the one on there. How is that allowed?

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Like, here's what you could do though. Hey, he's allowed
to come here, but he's not allowed to ask questions
because we're gonna call on people. It's almost like somebody
you're calling on in class. He can yell it out.
People are going nuts.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Come on, you can't ban.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Them, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah you can.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
I don't like the young you know, I don't like
young jon A, my dude, But you know what you
can on people that you're right. People can get mad
about it, you know, whatever about it. Maybe they don't
cover it, which a bad press is better than no press.
But you said it. This dude is over the top.
This dude has a personal beef with Deanna Sanders. As
do I, but I don't count myself as a journalist,

(10:50):
and I literally have a personal moment that I that
I shared with that wonderful, wonderful human. But yeah, that's
the fun of it. That's a part of the power
that makes it fun. Approving and disapproving media passes.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Come on, you know what.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I didn't want to read some of the quotes that
he called, but I got a little bit of time.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Ye, I don't think it's worth it. We're gonna have
to do some of these things.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Uh, the false Prophet, deposition Dion, the Bruce Lee of
BS Planet Prime, the Dion kool Aid.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Yeah, I like that one.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
I'm the leader of the circus because some of those
are kind of unpair.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
The Bruce Lee BS is pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
What was it? The false Prophet? I guarantee that's the
one that got him because he he he holds himself
as a man of God, So I believe that that's
probably the one that really put him over the top.
But you know, I think it's I think it's the
beginning of the end for all the Dion Sanders too,
I think. But but I have no problem. You you
have the right to ban people you do it. As
somebody who works in pro sports, I want the attention,

(11:57):
I want the focus, I want the love. But at
the same time, if you're out to get one of
my players or my coaches one or whatever, and it's
making things harder and harder on people, sure, why not?
Why not let's spark this five twenty because we're gonna
have an interview at five forty five nicles out today's
show five twenty. I think I need you to share
a little bit more details on that story.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
I know the details, but I think some people might
be curious of who you're referencing in that.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Story, not anyone in particular, but I'll get deeper into
it if you want. You Guys, you're out. Sorry, I mean,
I didn't mean to tell you right now. Number three
of the Kickstarter how about a healthy gone gone Carlos
Stanton leading the Yankees just not leading, leading from behind,
I guess is the way to say it.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
But basically, what.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
It came down to is a back to back to
back or as John Sterling would say, Belle to Bell,
it to belly home runs for the Yankees. This is
what you've been looking for. If you're a fan of
the Yankees. This is you can't you can't really walk
Soto because that means there's a man on base for
when Judge gets up. Now, with Stanton starting to hit

(13:01):
for power, you can't walk. You have to pitch to
Judge because if not, there's a man on base when
Stanton gets up. Meanwhile, nobody on base, didn't matter. It's
still three quick runs.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
What a beast?

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yeah, I mean, this has been the player people have wanted,
hoped for. He's shown flashes. Sometimes it's happened, and what
it does happen. This is what the Yankee fans have
dreamed of.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Moving on number two were staying with the same team.
Different dude, another big guy right there. I don't know
if you've heard of this kid, Aaron Judge. I think
he's gonna be something special. I think he Yeah, I'm
gonna go out on a limb.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Judge. Good.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
He's now back on pace to at least tie his
American League home run record, considering the fact that he
basically took April off because he was so banged up, like,
he didn't start playing well until late April early May. Phenomenal,
I mean phenomenal. We'll have to talk more about him
coming up. But Aaron Judge is must watch TV, the

(14:02):
most exciting.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Player in all of baseball.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
You and I kept texting over the weekend. Did he
really hit another one? Did he really hit another one?
Did what Jeff Essen's tweet about? It's still August? How
is this happening?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (14:14):
There's one more story here in the Kickstart I got
to quickly add in a one and a half though,
because we're at this pack today.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Fierceness wins the travers sticks.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Yes, Thorpedo Anna, she ran her heart out, and I
know we'll talk a lot more about that Friday with
our guy, Matthew DeSantis, Brian Marianto, Andrew Champagne.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
I'm mad at every day.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I'm mad at myself, but I'm mad I'm mad at
Matthew DeSantis for being such a great salesperson on his picks.
But only one person this entire time that I know of,
picked Fierceness to win me.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
I was it. I picked Fierceness, and you know what
I did. I didn't.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
I never bet him. I never met a Fierceness alone.
It was always together with a bunch of different horses.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
I was gonna say.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
I'm like, I'm pretty sure you had fierceness, but I
never got a text on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
I'm like, no, because what happened was I put it.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
I put fierces with Sierra Leone, I put fierces with
this one.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
With that one. Whatever. I never just flat out bet fierceness.
That's my own fault, my own fault.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
But Matthew Santis was so pumped, and I've never seen
him that pumped. And as we know, in the war
between Andrew Champagne and Matthew Santis, I've chosen Matthew De
Santra's side because you have chosen Andrew champagne side. However,
I now know that Champagne is a big Michigan fan.
So I'm more torn than ever I might. You know

(15:31):
what the weather looks rough out there, That's what I'm saying.
Now take that and Nny's.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
You know up before I got closer, yells at us.
We saw your pick closer. What he had fierceness.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
I don't know him never Why did he say something
to me? You never talked to me, never told me
good job picking fierceness.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
But they also didn't have the exactness, So maybe he
probably suffered the same fate.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
You did all right, number one in the cdt a kickstart.
I did it for all of you been in the
underhold the tickets because you ain't got it yet. I
made it around the sun one more time. Happy birthday
to me, Jeff Levac.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Happy birthday.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
I would open one.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Of these beers you put in here, but I've already
emptied them.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
For those one who what my gift most for Lavac,
I showed up, walked right here, and see he's chugging
this right. I bought him a bunch of beers.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
I think that's you previously sold this as you had
gone to the store, you had presents available, you were
ready to go all this stuff. I got here a
little early today because I will.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
I want to. I want to say this.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
There's a lot of people out there who don't know
what a great person Mike Corta is, the guy who
runs belfour. They got one of the owners of the Firebirds.
I woke up to a happy birthday textion Mike. He
was the first one to get ahold of me today.
That's my dog. But like it was kind of one
of those things like why are you bothering me?

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Go away?

Speaker 1 (16:47):
It's your birthday. So I was like, all right, let
me go get this done since God's won't do the
same thing. And Godz goes, oh, hey, I gotta run
across the street. I'm like, what are you doing. I'm
gonna go get your birthday president. I'm like, I thought
you already had it. So I mean, first, oh, you
owe me no presents. I know I is the gift
to do this show, but you are so full of
poop that you said you already had it.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
I was saying, I got you a gift. That's right.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
The Verba season was got I should have said I
have to get you a gift, but that would seem
like I was putting pressure. Like no, I assumed you
weren't gonna be here when I was gonna go buy
it because I'd laid out our schedule. I'm like, here's
what we're doing this time this meeting. Yeah, the gift
did arrive when you were here, which did make it
feel a little otter. And also you went and got
it someone someone before I gave it to you was

(17:31):
trying to get in there, and then I wanted to
make sure he told me he didn't drink, so our
sales team was trying to picket some of those beers
before you got it.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
I'll share it with everybody. He claims he doesn't drink.
They just want to see what.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Oh I know, Susa Goody Goody doesn't drink. No he
needs to. That was funned.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah, he actually came in with the plastic bag as
if it was like a collect like a Halloween situation.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
Yeah, he just wants the Empties to return it. We're
on tough times here.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
If you guys can please advertise with with Fox Sports
Radio nine eight ninety five nine, we'd really appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Our guys are out picking up my empty beer canon.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
That's a.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
That's a.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
That's the things it's done them. Well, it's the end
of the month.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Help him out.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah, I mean it's it's here, so uh no. But
it's just very cool stuff. And for everybody asking like
what I'm doing to celebrate, it's good dinner with the
kids tonight and then I'm probably gonna unofficially celebrate my
birthday at the Scottish Games on Saturday, because that's that's
kind of my jam. I might I'm gonna see if
that'll give me like like our boy Alex Nickel, I'll
see if you let me borrow a golf cart for
the day I think I need one.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
It's it could be like a mixed between like uh,
the late Bobby Bowden ride it out of Florida State
practice coach Cantuso and he had some lor body things.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
But you're gonna be like Drew MacIntyre ish with the
Scottich actually want to see.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Well you think of you think about it. It's like,
y'all's my fairgrounds. Takes me back to the old the
old country first days. Yeah, so it's gonna be like
it'll be like those days, but instead of stealing them
from the late great Bob Oustfield, I'll get my own
golf cart.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
That'd be great.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
I'll pay for it. I'll pay for it if I
have to. No, it's no, And thank get everybody. Like
so many messages today, I have not had a chance
to get back to everybody. I will do my best.
I am, I am humbled, I am in awe. I
appreciate you all. I'm such a jerk that I can't
believe you guys like me. So thank you you like me.
You really liked me, the fact that Wes can sing already,

(19:20):
like Rex and West will send me happy birthdays, and like,
I know, Rex is fully like he communicates. Wes is
like that kid's gonna be smart.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Smart.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Yeah, you got problems on your hands there.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
So they both did a nice time.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
My wife wanted me to lead off the show with
the songs from them, and I'm like, oh, maybe that'll
be another birthday.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
And then I was She's like, hey, there's no guarantee
I get another one.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
She goats, She goes, wait, you already send him a
little vac I'm like, yeash, She's like that was supposed
to lead the show off the top.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
I'm like, are you booking the show now? We'll take
her when she works for free. That's right, let's go. No,
it was, it was. It was really moving. It was
very nice. It was very nice of the boys too
so and even though I'm pretty sure West called me poopy.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
He did that was a yeah, that was a mistake.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
Do you know he thinks? I don't.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
I don't think I knew.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
It was calculated smart head. It's very smart head.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
And then like I said, your your your beautiful wife,
Jordan sent me the sweetest ext So just everybody stop
it now. Okay, you've been at the.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Jeff Lavaca on Twitter, send the wishes over there on Twitter,
and you can find them on Facebook and.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Instagram as well. Well. Birthdays are to be celebrated.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
As I said to Zach in the office today, our
guy Doug on Gy is not a big birthday guy.
His birthday was the It's Zach's birthdays Thursday, Jamie Roberts
is Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
I said this, and I think it's.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Lavak and Guzz on ninety five nine Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Uh yeah, live in the GT Toys too.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
That's toys with a Z.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
It is Levac and Guz and so the this is
like one of those situations where like I remember the
Barry Bonds home runs. I remember like, was it Pedro Gomez?

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Pedro?

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Every where Bonds was so was Pedro? Like those kind
of things. We knew what was going on, but we
couldn't prove it was going on yet. So it was
like we're gonna, we're gonna honor it. McGuire Sosa to have,
you know, just this amazing back and forth to save
baseball after the strike for being perfectly honest, just just

(21:23):
to have Maris's family follow them around the awesome things.
I absolutely love what Judge is doing. I I know
he's talked about, but I don't feel like he's talked
about as much as those guys were, Like, I don't
feel like he gets the attention that Bond's McGuire and
Sosa got.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I want to I know we have a lot, a
lot on the bone here at the top. I need
to stop you there though, I'm fascinated by you. Why
you think that way? Why do you think it is?

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Because it's it used to be like I said, you'd stop,
they'd show his at bats, they do all these things,
like especially with Bonds, and then it was always like
I can't believe what we're seeing.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
I can't believe what we're seeing.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
I cant believe we're seeing.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Now it's like, well, here goes Judge again, and then
they show it and they leave and they're done.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
It's only like.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
I don't think there's anything to it. But I know
there's people out there hoping he's guilty of something because
they sat the Yankees, you Red Sox fans, Benny Ice,
I see you. But I do feel I feel like
it's it's more of a footnote right now than it's
ever been before to have a guy playing at this level.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Let mean, throw a wild comparison to you here on
a Monday, on your birthday, after a wonderful CDTA Kickstarter,
does it feel like the Man on the moon? And
here's what I mean by older sports fans, get that
you're today's your birthday, but you're not that old. That
if when people went to space, that was like the
wildest thing ever, Like, what do you mean We're sending
people to the moon?

Speaker 4 (22:46):
What do you mean?

Speaker 3 (22:47):
So they would cut in every time a rocket ship
an astronaut would hit space. It would cut in every
television program and everything would be all about the man
on the moon or people going to space. And then
eventually everyone's kind of like I kind of saw the
rocket already, you know, I saw those guys go to
the moon. I have some questions about how they didn't
have cable television or some color TVs, but we gotta
connect to the moon.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
That's besides the point. The point is people kind of
just got like, okay, saw it.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
So I wonder if sports fans did McGuire Sosa and
they did Bonds and not only that they felt cheated,
is what you're getting at, Like, whoa, Everyone told me
this was important and then I found out you cheated
to get to something that was important. Because of that, forever,
it's always going to be looked like that.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
But we're not like a whole new generation of being
small fans.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
If you're eight years old right now, if you're ten
years old, like I was nine, nine, ten when the
McGuire Sosa thing happened, so every kid that I knew
had McGuire, Sosa and Ganigraphy Junior on their walls like
that was the heroes of the late nineties. If you're
a little league baseball player, I don't. I hope Judge
is the same way. But that's like twenty six years later.
So I wonder to your point, if it's the man

(23:55):
on the Moon thing where it's like people saw it
so they don't want to do it again because it
feels old and they've been there, done that because the
bomb McGuire Sosa or it's a Yankee bias, that's all
I got because this should be a bigger deal. Maybe
it's the explosion of the NFL in football. We just
live in a different era that people care more about football,
and the numbers show that. But what Aaron Judge is
doing post steroid era, post really power hitters when you

(24:19):
think about it, at least from what I grew up with,
should be recognized more like he's gonna win the m
v P.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
I got a third factor.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
I think that's really gonna know you though, how much
is Otani playing a factor in this? Like, even though
Judge is doing what he's doing, I see greg as
minor oh man, I don't know if I said.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
That name right, I hope you did.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
You know what I'm not leaving I'm leaving that in. Ye,
it leaving that in. He's on Major.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Now, he's on the Major League Baseball Network. He was
talking about how Otani is the best player on planet Earth,
and then while he's doing it, they cut it and
he hits a home run live on the air. So
maybe the Otani rubb like it should be back. You
know what, one more I'm throwing on her marketing. It
was Bonds versus Sosa.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yeah, it was Bonds.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Versus the record. Maybe that's what baseball needs to do,
Judge versus Otani. We see sports why not? Maybe that's
the way it should be marketed.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (25:11):
All right? So here's the deal.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Judge is now three seasons with at least fifty home runs.
That means that he joins Sammy Sosa, Babe Ruth, Mark McGuire,
and Alex Rodriguez is the only other Major leaguers to
have three seasons where they had at least fifty home runs.
What Greg Amsinger, Well that was even close? What did

(25:34):
you call him? Battle aintal minor? What?

Speaker 2 (25:39):
There's an Evan? There s minor as miner.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Okay, all right, So twenty seventeen Rookie of the Year
fifty home run fifty plus twenty two sits the American
League record for home runs MVP twenty four on pace
to once again either tie or set the American League
record for home runs and most likely be MVP. He
has six home runs in his past six games, eight

(26:05):
in his past ten, and nine in his past thirteen games.
Who he is absolutely en fuego And like I said,
I don't like I know everybody likes him too. I
also wonder if it's because there's no real controversy, like
we're so bored, Like if it bleeds, it leads, if

(26:25):
if things are going well, nobody's paying attention. But the
second something goes left, everybody's.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
All over it.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Like it's just I want I want everybody to take
a look at the swing and the way it goes
and Otani, Otani's a chance to be the first ever
fifty to fifty guy. I don't there's your East coast
West coast bias. I rarely see Otani hit. I see
it in Sports Center, But that's it.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
There's a lot of unbelievable stance in baseball this season.
One of the ones I saw Otani's in the forty
forty club. Zero people in the forty forty club or
in the Hall of Fame, mostly because of peds and
controversy conseko a Rod And then I think was it
Soriano got close, but he didn't get it.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
I think he had the stolen base about the whole run.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Yeah, that entire list of forty forty is not in
the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Is wild? Really not at all? At this point, I
just put everybody in.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I mean, I mean, come on, you know what I mean, Like,
we we know we're smart enough to look at the
Sorry he did, he did get forty forty, but that
was like an Anoma year for him a rod Acuna
junior conseko O Tani. Wow, that's amazing, that's amazing, and

(27:38):
no one's ever done fifty to fifty and he looks
like he's got a chance this season.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
The stolen base is is impressive for him.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
The thing that will always hold Otani back is we
were told he was gonna pitch, and he hasn't pitched yet.
But with the way he's hitting, would why let him
like maybe relief? Like why why take him out of
your lineup?

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Ever?

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Why why risk another injury?

Speaker 2 (28:01):
This is a simple answer.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
But by the way, I told everybody that's what it
would be when you signed the contract, and now I
feel feel kind of smart at the moment.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
And the only way you have him pitch is if
he's the best option, Like is he your third best pitcher?
Is he your actual best pitcher? Is there nobody else
out of the bullpen? Closer out of the Bullpen's tough?
I wonder actually, because of substitution rules, if he has
to come out of the lineup, or do you move
like a positional player?

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Double switch? Right?

Speaker 3 (28:25):
A double switch? Which is wild? Hey, we need you,
we know you just went three for four. We need
you to throw like ninety five right now, just gas
coming out of the pen, one.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Hundred, which like that I would I would go for
that before I would go for the starting pitcher if
you if you could just bring him out every fifth
day or but out of the pen.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
I just it's he's he's absolutely amazing, no doubt about it.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Total cheater gamble of the game. But a he's circu freak.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
But like at this point, if he goes fifty to fifty,
I don't think you let him pick up baseball to pitch.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Maybe it's the fun fights white sport fan in me.
Maybe it's because of marketing of how we've seen other sports.
Yankee fan, I don't know if you're gonna like this,
but maybe for Judge to get the historical love, to
get the nineties rub that McGuire and Sosa got the
bonds credit Nationally, do we need a Yankees Dodgers World Series?

(29:19):
Do we actually have to see o Tani versus Judge?
And I get baseball's not like that, but you know,
TONI could binch. We never got Kobe versus Lebron in
the NBA Finals. Some people feel like they're cheated out
of that. We're likely never gonna get a Harper versus
Trout in the World Series. We're not gonna get No,
we're not gonna get the ones that we want. But
we could get this, and maybe that's what would be incredible.

(29:42):
All right here the two best players playing at an
historic pace in the biggest game of the season, with
the biggest cities.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
This actually play well in the postseason, which Judge hasn't
really done much of yet. But listen, listen, just watch it.
It's insane, back to back to back home and I
don't know if you've caught this, you know how my
fear is. Here's here maybe the most valuable thing Judge
is doing for this team right now. On top of

(30:10):
everything he's doing offensively, he's doing one other thing. He
has started to put out the public excuse on why
they can pay want Soto more than they pay him.
He has publicly started to talk about how, No, every
time I look up, he's the fastest, the youngest, he's this,
he's this.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
He's the youngest player to do this. He's the youngest
player to do that. He's the youngest player.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Judge is slowly weaving in the excuse on why he'll
accept Soto making more money than him annually, and it's
if and look, maybe I'm wrong, but that's what it
feels like. And if that's the case, imagine being a
guy who is going to be at least a two
time MVP, Rookie of the Year, home run champion, all

(30:52):
these things, first, captain of the team and.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Forever blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
And also goes, pay this dude more than me because
we need to, like, you know, like ever since you
met me. I don't pocket watch other people. Get what
you can get, don't worry about what they make. I'm
almost convinced there was a guy on our old station
that made more money than me. He didn't, I don't
think he did as much as me, but that didn't
matter because the station worked.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Everything was good.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
If Judge is doing that, if I'm right and judged
in somewhere in a conversation, Judge goes, obviously, I'll take
more money. Obviously, if you guys want to give me
more money to make it right, I'll take it.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
But do what you have to do to get on.
So on, this roster long term, do what you.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Have to do Somewhere, Jalen Brunson is like, look at
me with how much money I sacrifice. The New New
York effect is all stars have to do. I don't
think that plays the factor in Judge. Uh, but I
wonder it's gonna be a conversation. Hey, Jalen Runson took
a huge pay cut. He's the star of his team.
We're not asking you to take a pay cut. We
just need you to accept that somebody else on the
team's gonna make more money than you, and you're better

(31:52):
than them, and that's not easy for people to swallow
who have egos, who have earned the ego, and you're
gonna be better than.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Him for probably two to three years, maybe maybe maybe
maybe four, three to four, maybe three to four, but
not by a lot. By that point, it's gonna be
real close. And then he's gonna lead us into the future.
But your chance of doing what hasn't been done in
this town since two thousand and nine, which, by the way,
as much as I love old timers day talk about
like punching me in the throat every five seconds with you, Wow,

(32:20):
we miss winning?

Speaker 4 (32:23):
Oh dare you stop it.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Yeah, I mean that's I those two.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Together, they are having so much fun. Now Stanton's hitting this.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
There's there's a lot of good There's no dominant baseball team.
There's no team right now that I look at it
and go, that's the team you can't beat. There's four
or five really really good teams. There's no great teams
this year.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
I wanted it to be the Orioles. The Orioles are
falling back. Judge is taking over. This is you have
to swallow this a little bit again. If you're Cleveland,
if you're Houston, if you're in Minnesota, Kansas City, Baltimore,
they've got the best player in the American League, and
not just the best player in the American league, playing
in an historic pace that we haven't seen an American League.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Baseball player play at.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
And how long like we're again Maguire and so send
Bonds all in the National League. I was gonna say
since Aaron Judge a few seasons ago, but they actually
that's probably the answer.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Do you see what's happening in the hall?

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Those people from the river that we're growing up against
next week are circling.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
All right, two minutes I don't know what they're doing.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
They're circling. They're have to know good. I'm sure good.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Should we open the door for him and then we'll
walk in.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
I don't think you.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
I don't know that that's a scared Let me do this.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
Let me talk about our friends over Mohawk Honda. What
if they're trying to travel right now, Mohawk Honda where
they always go out of their way to please you.
We're going to be at Mohawk Honda in mohawks shav
we with two exciting shows come up in September. But
if you've got the road trip on the way, the
final summer road trip Labor Day weekend, I do. I'm
heading to the New York State Fair this weekend. I've
got a Fantasy football draft. I've got the Series Football Kickoff,

(33:58):
the only game I'll.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Probably go do this season.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
With baby on the way, Mohawkank is gonna help me
get back and ride in style, whether it's the CRV
or the Odyssey, which now talking this out loud with you,
I don't know what car we're taking back. It's probably
up to my wife, but she loves both our vehicles.
Mohawkana will help you find the ride that fits your
your budget, your lifestyleing more if you're traveling a lot,
if you've got kids, if you've got those summer tailgates
on the way or fall tailgates.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Mohawk Conda wants to work with you.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Shout out to Greg Johnson and the entire team over
there from Lindsay Hardon, Cam McKennon, like I say, called
me last week, wanted to make sure everything was going
well the vip man morales. Hopefully everything's doing great with
the social media team.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
You don't think the ridgeline has like a cooler in
the truck bed. It has like a compartment that's waterproof
that who with a plug that you can drain it later.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Mohawk Honda, Mohawk Chevy.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Look at all the great things that Mohawk's taking care
of you for this upcoming fall. It's Mohawk Conda where
they always go out of the way to please you.
Let's do this, Let's find out what our friends from
the river want in the hallway.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
And then coming up, let's talk about old man time
there he's undefeated. Oh gosh, that's coming up. Fox Sports
Radio ninet eight.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
It's Avack and guzz on ninety Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Sometimes they just wanted to steal like equipment from one
of the studios.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
That's all.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
It was like, like just quietly sneak in.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
I would have I would have been like, I would
have like I would have made a big production of it.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
How quiet I was being though, that's just me though.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Tip toe t what do you guys do it? They
respected the on air light though, I will appreciate them.
They saw we were on the air, they knew the
show was going on. It would have been fun if
they just walked into studio. I still don't even understand
what Tracksy grabbed them. She grabbed the microphone stamp. They
have microphones and they're selfie. It's a selfie. It's like
for the phone and stuff.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
Oh the cell.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Because they had a wonderful event there out at frog
Ally that had a big concert and stuff. It was
a packed weekend man at the Capital. That kickstarter if
you missed it, Apples, Spotify, the i heeard app That
was a loaded kickstarter with stuff but across the Capital region.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
Yeah, a lot of stuff going on all right. So
I want to try. I want to be a better person.
I'm trying to be a better person.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
On your birthday today. This is your almost a resolution
you're making here for the next year.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
Yeah, well, I mean definitely some of those things.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
I do think it's more important to make the resolution
on your time than the than the beginning of the year,
because then everybody does. Right now, there's nobody at the gym.
I could probably start pretty easily here.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
I I don't think I like Phil Jades.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
Oh well, that a former guest, not just a former
guest on the show, a weekly guest, and not just
a weekly.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Guest on the show. We had a sponsor attached to it.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Oh what, but keep going.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
We had a sponsor attached to his name. We've actually
met him in person. I've got a selfie on my phone,
us three together. What has made you turn on a dare?
I say, a former friend of the show Field Yates,
and I like him.

Speaker 4 (36:43):
I just he's a little too serious, a little too pompous.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
Sometimes I never liked it, Like obviously, I didn't make
light I didn't want to make light of the fact
that every quarterback at that point of the Washington Redskins,
now the commanders, was breaking their leg in a horrific way,
Like it was like everybody, and he like he like
scolded me for the way I presented it.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
I was like, are they cursed?

Speaker 4 (37:04):
I don't want to make light of it.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Whatever.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
Yeah, on air, for those who know that reference feel
it was a very odd interaction. It almost soured. They
were really sour, might be too strong. But he kind
of put up a little bit of a fence after
that question, which he really should know.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Yeah, it was, it was, and it caught me off guard.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
And he's, like I said, he's alway a little more
serious and he does come from the front office job,
so whatever. But like that, I always thought I loved
that guy until I saw him blow his shoulder out
on a beach and I laughed like that, I feel bad,
Like I feel bad, I laughed because like so for you,
I guess they were trying to establish draft order for

(37:42):
a fantasy football league and they had like a combine
they did on the beach and field tackles. This inflatable dummy.
This inflatable Like I'm an inflatable dummy. It was just
like it's one of the ones that you blow up
in you yard to throw footballs into, so not like
built to be tackled and he I mean, he had
he square up. He took it down with some ferocity.
He took he he understood the assignment, dislocated his shoulder

(38:06):
and you could tell he was hurt when he got up,
like he was hurt. Adam Schefter made light of it,
and I started dying. I laughed, So like I think
I must have, Like I'm never let go of being
scolded on my own show. I think so, I'm like
a little angry at old Field Yates. So he had
he had to go to the hospital and get his
shoulder popped back in, and like, I know it's painful
when you dislocate your shoulder. Mine, I've torn some rotator

(38:30):
cups which I've been on the verge of dislocation and
I've been able to get back where it had to
go and rehab through. But like I giggled, I laughed,
I feel bad about it.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
The level I know nothing when it comes to health
and the human body or anything. The only thing I
know is about dislocating shoulders. Because sadly that ended my
college football career. Uh, there's levels to this thing. I
feel like that's Maclamore who would say that. So what
is the injury field, they aints, Is it just a
slight tear in the front gun be back in a
couple of weeks. Do you have that rotator cuff where

(39:02):
you could really fight through it if you're a man?
Did you tear up the labrum like Drew Brees near
things hanging like a piece of spaghetti. I don't want
to compare myself to Drew Brees, but I'd go in
that last category if what my shoulder looked.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
Like what they don't want to compare myself, but I
won't do it.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
But there is something about this is gonna sound like
I'm taking a shot at his manhood, but you know
you saw the cut here the clip. There's something about
somebody field the Yates' size and what he does for
a living, and I guess the pompous attitude at times
it comes off on now for the show in the
podcast when hey, you talk about football for a living
and you did that and your shoulder just broken half.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
Lost a little bit of respect. But he talks about.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Like, hey, we need you to run one thing man
in the beach. We're not asking you to go up
against Jadeveon Clowney or at Oliver any freak of nature
when it comes to compare to Field Yates, who has
the body and he said this, he has the body
structure of a sixteen year old.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Yeah, it just.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Exploded on him.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
It's just bad.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
It's just bad.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
The only thing that makes it a little bit easier
on him. And again, I feel bad. I do I like,
I like Phil Jades, I do Yater's gonna eat. I'm
not gonna I'm not one of them. I feel bad
and I want to I formally apologize. Have a pro
athlete do the same damn thing right away is the
only thing that says you, did you see this story

(40:21):
the Craftsman Truck Series in NASCAR?

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Oh, someone sent me this Lincoln in and click on it.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
So dude, Lane rigs he uh, he wins his first
ever Craftsman was first ever NASCAR went, but it's in
the Craftsman Truck Series. Twenty two year old gets up
on top of the truck, starts fist pumping, blows his
shoulder out. Just look it shoulder right, just like that.
He's like, I've done it before. It's okay. I'm like, yeah,
that's that's country right there. Like I was dropping my

(40:49):
truck a million miles per hour. And then I got
out and I celebrated with a fist pump like those
guys down in the city dune and showed pop brought out.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
It's like a ball and string. And then uh know,
just right back in here, I go.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
As tough as it looks when someone pops their shoulder
back in. I learned about the science. It's torn. It
fell off like you put Just because you put it
back in doesn't mean it's fixed. Now, Like you have
a ball in a socket and it comes off the thing.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
And all the muscles that hold it in right.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Or ripped that just go to the doctors.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Put it back together, put your shoulder or don't or
take hits for months and then not be able to
lift your arm in the show in the shower and
try to wash your hair, and then slowly watch your
Division III football career spiraled down the drain.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
Why does this sound like a personal experience all of
a sudden.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
The best part, well, hold on at that point when
you dislocated your shoulder, you did it during a game.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Uh the first time I did it, I was fifteen
and did this.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
That's probably why I feel little bit more different, like
I was that person who would pop it back in out.
But yes, I did it in the first game of
the season.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
And then when did it happen at a college level?

Speaker 3 (42:00):
Oh, I'm sorry, my first game junior year in college.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
Okay, so you were already dating you're now wife. Yes,
what did she go to school for physical therapy? She
was a junior as well. What was her advice as
a professional?

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Get surgery as soon as possible, and then go to
physical therapy.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
And so when did you get when did you ever
have the surgery two months later?

Speaker 3 (42:24):
And then physical therapy You should last for four months,
and I did it for seven weeks and then said
I got This is what I told the trainer in
physical therapist.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Don't worry.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
I'm a twenty one year old. I don't have a
doctorate in physical therapy. I got it. That might have,
you know, played a factor. Actually, now you can't.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
Complain about your shoulder ever. That's why I usually don't.
I usually don't you at home.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
She beats you up.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
I don't ever speak of it at home.

Speaker 4 (42:50):
It just doesn't exist.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Well, she knows what I did. Actually, that's what she
tells me. You know what she did?

Speaker 4 (42:55):
Well more poorly. You know what you didn't do? You
didn't listen?

Speaker 2 (42:58):
No, uh you know.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
I want to go back to field the eighths real quick.
Because our guy bear Fulica, he hosts a betting podcast
for Fox. We have our fantasy football draft coming up Thursday,
live from Rivers Casino Resort.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
How we're gonna set that up?

Speaker 4 (43:09):
Love back.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
We may go thirty minutes commercial free, we may go
right at five thirty till Cavino and Rich throw us off.
So we're gonna be live, I think for the last
thirty minutes of the show, doing a fantasy football draft
alongside with you. I listen to Fantasy Football Focus or
Letter Network podcast. Oh's not as good without Matthew Berry?

Speaker 2 (43:29):
Is this just like the word? Am I just getting spoiled?

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Maybe listeners are like this now and I'm not criticized,
so you can squirrels fine. But I feel like people
get accustomed to certain things, Like Matthew Berry used to
be on that show. He's now on NBC. I don't
like the NBC show as much. I like bear Fulica,
we like Jeff Schwartz. I liked it better than you,
Stanford Steve when you were off last week. No disrespect
to Ryan or Sean or Zach. People were not happy

(43:52):
and I were together or you were missing. I wonder
if we're more spoiled than ever. We can get what
we want when we want, and when someone changes it,
they really hate it. Maybe I'm in that category because
I don't like that show as much without Matthew Berry.

Speaker 4 (44:05):
Well, he is good. I catch him eye's while on
random station, the NBC stuff.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
Yeah, Oh you know, I don't anymore because I had
the free I had the free style.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
I can't ever pay for satellite, I mean, and I
work in trushal radio.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
How would I pay it? Who does? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:22):
So there was a point where I had it because
of the new truck, and I remember hearing him all
the time going on, man, do you miss him? He
he plays it well, he plays it well, he knows
the stuff. He Whether you like his advice or not,
you need to listen because he's compelling. They don't really
have that right now. They have a lot of guys
who are very analytical, but not they don't stand out. Well.

(44:45):
Maybe Field does now now he's out tackling things. Maybe
that was the physical physical field. It's a different animal.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
Here's what we got. Here's our face of our fantasy show.
The child who got hurt take lead on the Beach Child.

Speaker 4 (44:57):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
I'll still The one part I do like about that
show is I feel like Liz Losa, who's been a
guest on the show before, and Stefania Bell actually don't
like each other.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
Oh really, maybe I'll watch for that.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Now fight Here I go stereo right like here, I
go stereotyping, which I shouldn't. But it feels like like
you and I if we get in discussions or arguments
or back and forth, no one thinks you and I
are really like dislike each other.

Speaker 2 (45:20):
Maybe on other television we do, though that's the joke.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
Ah, we hate each other.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
Like when Max Kellerman and Steven Ain't to it or
skip baylists, there was actually some animosity. I wonder if
I'm like, oh, two guys talking about sports and disagreeing,
I'm used to that. Two women talking about fantasy football
and disagreeing to battle for turf. There could only be one.
Maybe I'm stereotyping too much. Yeah, I actually they hate
each other, though, No.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
You might be picking up on something. I'll watch and see. Well,
everybody can report back and let us know what they think.
Do they actually hate each other? Do you love Stefania Bell?

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Where about Love not Hate? On the show You Know
What Loves all about?

Speaker 3 (45:55):

fancy football?

Speaker 4 (47:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (47:19):
Okay, I see a lot of people blow out their
achilles now field yates shoulder.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
You're already banged up.

Speaker 4 (47:25):
I don't know if it's a good idea, but I'm
in all right. We'll keep that in mind.
