Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Levac and Gus on ninety five nine Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Thursday Night Football Tonight the New York Giants hosting the
Dallas Cowboys. You can hear that on our sister station,
Picks one oh six. How that go? This morning? I
didn't listen. I was great. I was gonna see the guys.
I'm I'm hurting though, like I'm I know, I'm jet lagged.
I know I drank entirely too much after the meetings,

(00:25):
But again, it's not my fault that people are paying.
Are they a good mood? Quentin Canter? I never know
that's it seemed to be okay. That's all I always
ask about it. I was checking on, why are you
so scared of Quinin Can't?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
I'm not scared of them. I just those guys are
easily agitated. I didn't know if they're old. It's all
old people are usually easily agit. R.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yes, so you're hurting? You had along?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yeah, By the way, I did not forget to ask
you about what went on. I know a lot people
been waiting all the show long coming up. I want everything.
I want everything of what happened. I was giving up
what I want to give you, Well, all right, so
you can bet online.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Betting is different in each state, So I just assumed
because it's legal in Illinois, it's legal in New York.
It'd be like the same, right, Like you just you
pop up me your AP and the exact same thing
you had to I had to like manually switch it
over to Illinois, like I had to go into a
corner and drop drag and it was Illinois. I have
I have an idea as to why it's tax purposes. Okay,

(01:28):
if you had a huge bet, you get taxed in Illinois.
That's my guess. Okay, I don't hate that because it
was weird because I'm sitting there. I had a bunch
of I had a bunch of open bets for Monday
night that I had made sitting in the airport because
I was bored. You, I was waiting to get on
my flight. I couldn't see them, so I had to
flip back to New York to see those. But I
I happened to do first touchdown parlay James Cook and

(01:52):
Jamar Chase for the night. Yeah, so that was so
I was I was house money for a while after
that one. That's it. It was not a bad hit.
I enjoyed that, but then I did I lost way
more money at the casino than that. But what what

(02:12):
I what I found funny? Oh that was picks. This
morning as I told them shop lines, I tried to
teach them about shopping lines and they just couldn't. They're like,
we can barely use the app. Well, we can barely
use the app in the first place. Now you want
to shop lines, and they just kept saying shop lines,
but a lot of places. Right now, you're getting the

(02:34):
if you want to take the Giants, you're getting the
Giants plus five. But I've seen five and a half.
I've seen six. So if you like the Giants, why
not get six? You know, why not get five and
a half? Don't just go I like to use this app,
so I'm gonna get him for this much.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Well, you know, I'm glad you let with the line
because there are some people who don't wager and then
thinking like why are they leaving the line conversation, because
that is one of these things where do you follow
the storyline? You know, going to the season, I'm talking
the storyline. It's like, okay, well the Cowboys are better.
They almost came back against the Rainvens. They've had more
success more recently. Shouldn't this be a game where the
Cowboys blow away the Giants in a short week with

(03:09):
more talent on the offense.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
That's why we talk about these lines, because anything under
six in a divisional game makes you past for a second,
wonder why is it only a fine point spread New
York beats Cleveland. New York's the field goal away from
beating Washington and being the top of the NFC East.
A divisional game on short week against a team and
the Cowboys that's given up the most rushing yards through

(03:34):
three games during the season. The Cowboys, the Dallas Cowboy
defense that was the best defense in the NFL in
twenty twenty three, besides the one playoff game, has not
been able to stop the run. So you're telling me
a team that already has been okay in.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
The running attack.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
I think Devin Singletary has been fine, better than fine.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
A little fumbly.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
It would have been nice if you got in the
end zone and didn't fall down the one yard line.
I'm still not over that.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yame.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Hopefully tonight changes down on my fantasy teams, but Malik
Neighbors singletary. That's a nice matchup. Brian Daball in a
short week versus Mike McCarthy. I'd give advantage New York
in that matchup. I like a lot of things point
in New York's favorite. I think the line is beeping
out loud saying that's right. It should be a closer
game than maybe people just following the storylines.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Well, I mean, let me, let me ask you just
hit it. I just went down here. What scares you
about the Dallas Cowboys offense?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Ceedee Lamb I think is a top receiver in the NFL,
maybe one or two, not because of injuries. I think he's,
if not number one, the number two wide receiver in
the NFL.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
And then maybe Ferguson not really I think.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I I mean Dak's ability in the pocket I think
makes Ferguson you could put really anybody at tight end
and that sounds like a horrible tist to Ferguson.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Honestly, could just have a moving body at tight end
and they'd be fine. But really like, but I mean,
that's kind of what you have. Yeah, And that's kind
of my point of too, Like, I don't know that.
I believe Dak's ability is that high. Like I he's
a Pro Bowl quarterback. I'm not trying to knock down
Dakota Ryne Prescott. His parents did that with that stupid name.
But like when you talk about rico'dowell, Zeke Elliott and

(05:19):
Hunter loop loop key, like the running, but then the
wide receiver room, like it's not it's Brandon Cooks. It's
not you know, it's Jalen's Holberd. It's this They're They're
not scary. I'm not afraid of if I can limit
Ceedee Lamb or you know what, maybe go full let

(05:41):
Ceedee Lamb eat and shut everybody else down. I feel
like I can win this game. And you talk about
the offensive line of the Cowboys, a little banged up
Giants runs good, their secondary not great, and the Giants
line is better and Singletary can run the ball. Dak
is what he's won the last eleven or twelve games
against the Giants or something nonsense. I that's what gives

(06:01):
me the biggest pause. But I think that's I think
that's the thing of the past. I think the Giants
can go ahead and win this game out right. The
Giants can win this game out right as well.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Look at you and I, oh standalone game you and
I hear her green gosh, and have you heard whatever?

Speaker 2 (06:16):
You know what. I'll get tack to that in a second.
But here's my fear.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
If I'm a Giants fan, and this is probably your
fear you felt for years, I am getting the same
right out in front of the bed, same raad on
the game that you are then, because of the matchups,
because of the way the game lies, because of the
way in which these rosters are built that New York
cannot just cover. But more importantly to most Giants fans,
win the game outright tonight in the divisional game. But
the fear is that if Dallas is up three, if

(06:43):
Dallas is up six in the fourth quarter, do you
trust Daniel Jones to make this team good enough on
offense to come back and win the game when it's
the fourth quarter in a divisional game? Do you believe
in Daniel Jones? Because that moment could be laid out
here in the fourth quarter where the Giants trailing to
close game. It's been back and forth and they need
a big play and the league neighbor has been really

(07:05):
good so far, in his career, Devin Secretary has been enough,
so far, so good. Can you trust that quarterback in
the pocket with a divisional game on the line. That's
what it's laid out to. I'm taking the Giants tonight.
I'm taking the Giants to cover. You know what, I'm
taking the Giants to win. Prove it tonight, Daniel Jones
money line wager on the Giants. I know I should

(07:26):
have dropped it in the play of the day. Fine,
I'm doing it here. Giants win. But if they lose
by three because Daniel Jones has the ball in the
fourth quarter and can't get it done, I will be
ripping him on Monday. You hear that Vack me ripping
Daniel Jones. Before Skuys would say the sky's blue hair
in the capitol re Eachi, but not today.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
The sky's a dingy gray and crying. I just I said.
I think everything that's happened up until this point in
the NFL, with a few minor exceptions, I think you
could kind of talk yourself into either believing in a
team or not believing a team. But there's enough to
look at what they've done so far, the Giants. You

(08:09):
get off to a slower start. But you should have
won your second game. If you had a kicker, you win.
Then you win a game, and you should have lost
that game because you gave up early. You were trailing early.
The Cowboys they look flawed, and I can't I can't
help but hear Joe Shane's words in my head when

(08:31):
I watch the Cowboys. I'm not gonna give a quarter
I'm not gonna give a running back this much money
when i'm when I've got a forty million dollar quarterback
and the what do you why do you hear that
when you look at the Cowboys. I think a lot
of these front offices are not that different, even even
if they don't execute the playing perfectly. I think a
lot of them have very similar lines of thought. So

(08:53):
if you're Jerry Jones and you look at Mike McCarthy
and you look at Dak Prescott and you go and
you look at see Lamb and you say, y'all wanted money,
prove it, Prove me that you're all I need. McCarthy.
I gave you your quarterback. I gave you one of,
if not the best wide receiver in the league. You

(09:15):
had Aaron Rodgers. I didn't know a lot of those
wide receivers prove me it was because of you do
it with Dak and if you can't, I'll go get
someone who can. Because when mahomes maakes that kind of money,
I don't need to know every one of his receivers names.
I need no. One, sometimes two. So I can't help
but think this is a show me year and that

(09:35):
Jarah is more than okay with losing this year to
put the people in place that he really wants there.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
You and I have a little sign thing off the show,
but we usually almost help people.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
You're married.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
We almost always share our picks, but we're in like,
what are your top five most confident picks of the week.
It's something you and I too, top five most confident
picks of the week. This is now in my top five.
And I love a college game this weekend absolutely love
and I'll share that tomorrow. I think I've texted you
about I. This is Patriot Week one Love, Georgia Tech

(10:09):
Week zero love. I love a college game this week.
This Giants play is now moved from my top five
favorite plays of the week. I love this play tonight,
not you like you like to, It's one of my
top five favorite plays of the week. It's not one, two, three,
or four, it's five.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
But it's on the list. But I'll put my own
real money on it, not even a pink panty bet.
Look at you.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yeah, there you go. We'll sprinkle money line and sprinkle
on the spread. Go giants, go big balloon again. Seven
to fifteen cover sheets underway? Ain't fifteen kickoff? You listen
to all the action on our sister's station again.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Picks one of six. Uh, I'm a little nervous. I'm
a little nervous. Excuse me? Agree, That's that's the problem
having right now?

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Did you hear how fantasy versus reality went? We'll bounce
back tomorrow. Tomorrow when it's at four to twenty, our
favorite segment of the year.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
I've said this to you at least twice. Now. Imagine
if I were a cave man and I just came out,
I measure I was lost in the will toness, and
by willedness, I mean a very small conference room with
a holiday and the Chicago, Illinois and I knew nothing
except for all I've known, all I've been, all I've
been mentally fed for the last two days is Arena

(11:20):
foot on fort fort three or four days Arena football,
and there's a storm coming for Florida. You went on
in three last week. I don't believe that to be true.
I also went on in three. I believe that to
be true.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
We are now combined right now, two and sixteen on
the season. We're going six and oh on Friday. Prep
your accounts accordingly. We're going six and oh. I'm gonna
get it done, or someone listening is gonna go six
and oh because of us.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
I can't. Definitely, I definitely feel like this has been
an awkward start. I gotta rebound. I gotta, I gotta
hit the notes. I gotta go crazy, I gotta, I gotta,
I gotta do some Deggan. It was Mike the situation
Sarrantino that said the situation, the bigger the setback, the
bigger the comeback. He's not the first one to say no, no, no,

(12:06):
he was no, he was not. He was not the
first one to say it. But that's all right. That's
your point. Your point is still valid. You a vout
valid point in your own weird little way. Let's talk
about c dt A show. I love CDT A. What
I would have given for c dt A this week
in Chicago, just to get where you have to go

(12:28):
and not worry about anybody else. It was. It would
be beautiful c dt A. Everybody here in the Capitol Region.
You've either experienced it in some way, shape or form,
know how great it is, or have yet to and
could just really make your life a heck of a
lot easier. With cdt A. You can explore the Capitol Region.
They've got a bunch of great ways to get into,
like the Pine Bush and all these other cool programs.

(12:50):
You can also over fifty roots that will take you
wherever you need to be, connecting you to what matters
that Right now, you've still got time for that CDPHP
cycle featuring e bikes, the drive electric car sharing program
right now, which is amazing, it's good for the environment.
CDTA is what connects us with the mobility menu to
meet all of our needs. Visit CDTA dot org check

(13:12):
all that stuff out. Like you said, Like you know,
during the summer you get the trolley. Other times you
got you know, special plans to get in special places.
It's just it's just a cool thing to do sometimes
when you don't even know what you want to do
for that day. Get up, check out CDTA dot org.
Maybe they'll give you the good plan. You just go ahead,
park the car, hop on the bus parking ride. You're
on your way. Also, don't forget about the navigator app.

(13:34):
It's amazing. Get connected today with CDTA dot org or
the navigator app. You've been waiting patiently. I don't know
if patiently is the word. People don't hear the commercial breaks.
It's probably the only conversation I'm gonna be prepared for
this entire show coming up next. God's attempts to get
me in trouble by getting information out of me from

(13:54):
AFU Arena Football University over the last few days in Chicago.
That is next right here, Fox Worts Radio ninety five
nine and nine eighty.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
It's Levac and guzz on ninety five nine Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Oh yeah, my friends, we are almost there. We're almost
made it through the first show back. I know, guys,
you must have enjoyed your time off not doing the
show while I was away. Did all the shows. What
that's crazy talk? So everybody told me the show stunk. No,
I had guess yesterday who you have yesterday? I had
Matt Verdam, our friend from Sports Illustrated cheef fan no good,

(14:28):
and we had a former colleague of yours, Brian Know
who hosts before Us on Sundays for the countdown to
Kickoff show. He was, he was in a good mood.
He was in a good mood. No, he's very intelligent man,
he is. He's He and I we've always bought it
heads in the past. I don't know. I don't know
what started. I've actually I remember exactly what started it.
Oh but uh but no, he I mean, I'm glad

(14:49):
you got in mind when I wasn't here. Mind on
the show money on the mind. His mind only works
in math. Now he's hosting Wageram themed shows, and you
can hear his mind has just gone full number. He
knows every single I think it's D one, two and
three college nickname what he knows every you. You could

(15:10):
ask him, you know, Southwest Louisiana or something like that,
and he would go jack Rabbit. So he he knows
them all. It's like a computer. That's pretty impressive. At
least he used to. Maybe maybe the money's taken over.
I don't know, but he used to be thinking like
you like randomly. It's like the producers and stuff would
walk by his office and be like, you know, kindasau state, yeah,

(15:32):
something like that, and he would just be like you
see the like the eyes go up rouh, it's this
and like it was, and they're like, damn it, you know.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Very impressive, but not more as impressive as you and
I waiting almost two and a half hours for me
to finally grill you about what happened. If you want
to hear this earlier in the show, I'm not gonna
apologize because I knew what I was doing. This is
like the Academy Awards or the Oscars. I held off
as long as I could a little TSL baby radio
people know what that term means.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
He can look that up. If you don't.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
I waited until this time spent listening, that's what it means.
I'll dare you, all right, I don't know. I usually
like doing the State of the Union. I usually like
grillly need with questions because I enjoy that part of it.
But I feel like maybe that's not the right way
to do it. Maybe I'll let you take the reins
on this and take us through what Monday through Wednesday
looked like a one point in my mind, I keep
thinking about it like a Republican or national convention, where

(16:19):
like they were speakers throughout the week.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Convention feel to it.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
So I'm gonna let you take it, and then I'll
occasionally raise my hand during the conversation as if I'm
a like, what if your students recently from the week?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I think, I think what I think? What needs number
one thing? And I don't know how many times I
can say this. If it doesn't come from the league,
it is not official, Like we The amount of times
that that was said, re said made it to be

(16:52):
repeated in the entire room and still people trying to
make announcements that aren't official. If it does If it
doesn't come from the league, it'st not official. Stay together, everybody.
If it doesn't, I didn't see I saw you not
say it. It's like right out of the world. Jerry
Curs a scary dude. He's like a little or old dude,

(17:14):
And I don't think you'd have a problems saying like that.
And he has Like those scenes in the movies were
like like Billy Crystal or robertson there or whatever. They're
like the grandfather and somebody pops off and they give
him a look, and that look is enough for the
person to go o, my rist of bruise, like that's

(17:35):
Jerry Curs has mastered the bruised rib look like it was.
So Monday, we get I get there Monday they started Sunday. Sunday,
a bunch of the owners got together and they began
the conversation stuff that not everybody needed to hear, more
of a meet and greet whatever, but they they they

(17:56):
there's a lot, there's a lot of movie pieces. Still.
I know there's people out there who are going, oh,
this team is in or that team is in it.
If you didn't see it with af One's logo on
the top of it, it's not real. It's just not
it's not real. It's either not real at all, or
it's just not done, or there's things that have to
be finished. Whatever. But Monday, I get there. I tried

(18:17):
to check in the room. This is a a littler
holiday inn, like, it's not it's it's not little, it's
it's it, but it's you. They're doing a bunch of
renovations and stuff, so it's good. It's about to be
a monster, like, if you're putting a pool in you
know what I mean. Like they're doing all that stuff.
So the ladies like, listen the way the systems set

(18:37):
up right now, if I don't have your owner's card,
you can't check in. And I'm like, but he prepaid,
it's all right. She goes, sorry, he's in that room.
So I opened the door. They're all in there, instantly bombarded.
Why are you late? Why are you now? Mind you?
There's one team that thinks I'm a coach, there's one

(18:59):
team that thinks I'm a player. There's one team that
thinks I'm an owner, and most teams think I'm an owner.
So I so, Mike, go sit down, just sit down.
I go, no, I need your I gotta check it,
and he goes, no, come on, sit down there. They
want you to do something. I'm like, all right, So
I sit down and it's on. Now we're moving. And
each day there was there's there's an agenda, there was

(19:21):
a focus, there was there was a reason for why
we were there. It was, guys, it was what I've
wanted since the since we got into arena football. Like,
it was We've done the I've done the owner meetings
for the NAL. I've been on three calls a week
for what the AFL was supposed to be before Gary Compton,

(19:43):
Jerry Kurrz, Chris Mwan, Tracy, all those weeple got involved,
and never once did I feel as organized as I
did the last three days. Like they welcoming talk to
you about like building leases, like what you can look for,
what you can expect, like how they can help you
with the legalities of getting your lease, because because like

(20:04):
each one of these teams is nothing without leaves. Like
if the Firebirds doesn't have a relationship with the MVP Arena,
we don't have Firebirds. It's not like we can just
go play over at colonies outdoors field, you know what
I mean. So, like like all that stuff they went through,
like how did you tickets? Asking the room, who who
has who's got a promotion. They're particularly proud of that
we haven't heard anything about like stuff like things like that.

(20:26):
Then we did all we they went through all the
stuff that you would need, and it was it would
go from very specific, like different vendors of uniforms would
would would have samples for us to look at. So
as a league we could decide if we were going
to go with a different uniform, a better a different
this or that or whatever. Those There was a field

(20:48):
guy there for the teams that don't have field yet
or are looking to improve. Like there was all those
things over the course of of three days. And then
there'll be in the middle of it like, hey, guys,
like a little lighter just for some fun, but it's
very important. Give us somebody here some theme days that
you want to do if you you games? And then
we break down into groups and all right, how are
you going to execute military appreciation game? How are you
gonna execute Christmas in the summer? How are you get

(21:10):
And it was so it was just it was they
kept it moving every day. It was great. I mean
I learned a lot and I met a lot of
the people around the leagues.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
First question hand in the air, I feel like I
didn't miss this, but I think it's a very important
point to bring back. How many organizations were represented? Are
you even allowed to say that what okay, all right,
that's fine, that's fine. No, no, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
List One of my complaints was and no, nowhere at
this exact moment in time, is there a list of
our rosters. You know what I mean of who who's
definitely in? You know we are you know Alby is,
you know Orlando is. The announcement for Wilkes Bear has
been made their their ownership group, AY tell you they
they are a very intriguing group. And I think if it,

(22:00):
if if background finances is what it takes to win,
we might be in trouble because they seem to have
some heavy hiteds be it. But like you know, there's
like in Monterey, Mexico, and that's that made me nervous
until I spoke to the owner and he's been in
other leagues before, and when they announced their head coach,
it's a name that a lot of us a gonna

(22:21):
be very familiar with. But I made a promise I
wouldn't anything again if the league doesn't announce it.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Do you not feel like that was intended for you?

Speaker 2 (22:33):
They? Well, no, they think we do. Find they're like
feel like as long as you keep towing the line,
you know, obviously honest mistakes are made. My one of
my team owners may or may not have announced a
team joining the league on flock.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
You hey, he got aggregated. I gave him an out
he got that. Poor guy got aggregated. He got put
on Social. I will defend the other team. They were like, well,
we were waiting to make the announcement, but you did it.
More will notice this. I was like, okay, welcome to
the algorithm, Mike yea. And by the way, tell Mike
this next time you see him. He is now I
was gonna tell him this, but now you get to
do it. He's now pasted UFC MMA fighter. You're Riah

(23:12):
Hall as the single human being I've had to edit
out the most ever in the history of my career.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Whatever. Whatever, Mike's on flock you. I will watch the
clock so that I can give guys a roundabout time
to start listening, just in case and editing and billings.
By the way, I want to get billing some low
because I do want to get to that too. I hate, hate, hate,
hate billings because now I like them.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Now you're going to get aggregated with that quote getting
kicking out of context.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
He's gonna get shared on Social. Team president Jeff Levac
says hates billions outlaws, but won't listen to the next
ninety seconds and what's gonna happen. I hate them. Oh
my god, dude, Steve Titus, the owner, just Cedric Walker,
the head coach, were the most terrible, awful people I've

(24:03):
ever met and would love to spend more time with
each one of them. They are the coolest people on
the planet. I hate them so much. Take that I go,
you know how bad it's gonna feel kicking your ass
to the championship this year, because now I enjoy spending
time with you. And they're like, uh, Cedric Walker, it's
a head coach who he is, hands down one of
the funniest dudes dur in my life. He just says

(24:24):
stuff out of nowhere and you don't expect it. And
he every time Mike Gorda, Damon, Damon ware, Jeff Levac
walked into a room, the standard, everybody the standard. Yeah,
so because everybody's trying to do what we've done. Yeah,
we came back and we won a much rings and

(24:45):
it's just like, at first I was like stop it,
and then I was like, you know what, I'm a
roll with it. I was like, I walked into a room,
I'm like, excuse me, Walker standard everybody, but no, they
were they were just I mean, they've got it figured
out over there. They're gonna be a tough team for
a very very long time.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Okay, So there's a great relationship between teams that had
worked with each other in the past and the AFL
that have now moved over to the A F one
And I'm saying that right AF one AF one Arena one.
So we have league meetings. We can't say how many
franchises are there. You've touched on this meeting. The significance
of just being together and understanding being on the same goal,

(25:24):
the same path, the same message. What all those things
are so exciting for Capitol region sports fans and I
love that we get the insight. I'm happy that this
is the forum that people get to find out about
this stuff. In the five to one ing of what
it's gonna look like. Now we have to ask these questions.
Do we have a set time for kickoff? Like what
can Capitol region sports fans expect with AF one? And

(25:46):
when the kickoffs looking home games? Or again is that
another it's not official and lesson.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
It's gonna start earlier than last year. I would assume
we're talking late March early April. The schedules are gonna
get put together and because of we haven't even like
I said, we haven't can't announced the schedules to announced teams,
haven't announced all the teams. There's still vetting processes that
are being finished on some places, some things like that. Uh,

(26:14):
but travel is going to be you know, you know
there's a team in Mexico. We got we gotta hop
the border, you know, it's we got to make sure
that that's all taken care of and go from there.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
So Mexico and sorry kjofle the back, but like Mexico
and also social media rumors about Stockton, California that is official. Okay,
I saw that come from a non league social media
platform and I'm.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Trying to Yeah, we've we've announced that Stockton, and we've
announced Mexico officially and Wilksbear. So those are those are
three that have been officially announced.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
That's quite the travel and billings of Montana. Those are
some serious road trips depending on what this league is
gonna look like.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
You know, I love asking this one. Any rumors, No,
I want to ask it like this. Was there a
discussion during the three day course the convention, I'm gonna
start calling it now. Was there a discussion during the
convention about what media distribution, what media, whether that be
social media, traditional, non traditional media, significance of that for

(27:15):
the league.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
There we go. I leave it wide open. Michael Kelly
would have been proud of how I did that? You
watch that?

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Sean Martin du Ta glace gozie bear a little big
Jake journalism question.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
There leave it open ended. In this particular group of meetings,
it was more of an overall view of how we're
gonna do it. Don't give a good answer, darn no,
don't tike Jake journalism? Me back, no, do you want
the answer? No? Because it was there was a point

(27:45):
where every three minutes John Cheney, the owner of the
Orlando Predators, would any question that was given, John will
turn around and be like, what TV are we gonna
be on? Like just because he was He's like, what's
the answer right now? The powers are talking to some
different places, but they the couple things that you'll, I know,

(28:08):
you'll appreciate a lot. Is a hefty importance has been
put on streaming social media, international national like so if
these are not the brands that are are happening, but
if you remember the championship game of the playoffs last
year in the US with CBS Sports Network Internationally was

(28:33):
his own, So I think I don't know if those
will be the brands or whatever, but I know that
that's what we're looking at. We're looking at a provider
for both in the States and then around the world
to try and grow the game. But it's we don't
have the actual partner right now. There's there's negotiations happening

(28:54):
because this league is smart enough to say, hey, we'd
love to partner with the NFL network, but we're not
gonna pay you fifty million dollars. You either you know,
partner with us, or we work out a far more
favorable deal. We're not going to just just to have
three letters next to our names is not worth a

(29:17):
majority of our of what we have to to start
this league.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Two other questions, and I swear I'm done. And if
you're listening, you have a question for Lavac, I would
hold it. He'll flock you coach wearing Levack do a
great job. Maybe you want to winning.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
We haven't. We haven't done. We haven't figured out what
the next one of those is just yet, So we
go at the Jeff Levak on Twitter at tom guys
or or or you can do vac at firebirds f
one dot com.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
Oh okay, levak at Firebirds a f one dot com
and maybe some if you're listening on the podcast side,
will do our best tomorrow to answer some of those
as well. Our guy Ben Nelson, Yeah, does a fantastic job.
He is the Firebird Director of Communications, Social Media Liaison.
He's got a thousand different titles. Is he going to
be potentially used by the league for some of his
skill set? Do they have any interest in our guy Benny?

Speaker 2 (30:03):
There's I found myself like like a parent, you know,
like because every team at some point walked over and
was like, hey, Mike said you'd help. So I'm like, hey, listen.
One of the things I'm working with ben on is
prioritizing his time. So all I ask you is be

(30:26):
respectful of his time and then he will help everybody
because that's the thing is like his his graphics are
superior to just about everyone else in the leagues. You know,
the kid does an amazing job. So he's more than
happy to teach everybody that. The motto of this week
has been we work together Sunday through Friday. We kick

(30:49):
the crap out of each other on Saturdays. You know,
theoretically there might be a couple of Friday night games too,
who knows, but the goal is gonna be Saturday night
games too. By the way, for everybody was asking, but yeah,
so he's gonna help, I'm gonna help. We're all gonna
help each other. Because again, it's the other cool part
about this is the newer teams. Again, they just they
were asking. They weren't telling. Nobody walked into that room going,

(31:11):
I know everything except for Ben, but no, it was
it was good. And then we just, you know, all
we worked together for for a bunch of.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
Days, just because this is such a new league. And
maybe this was never brought up, but I know a
lot of sports fans who followed the four major professional
sports and more know when an expansion team is added,
there's an expansion draft. Now, that's really not how I've
seen over the past few years, whether it's the launch
of the Arena Football League back in the late twenty
tens and then what we saw, well, the NAL was

(31:45):
already established, but this is a new league establishing a
newance ADN and everything else. Has there ever been a
conversation about a potential draft, a lot of the players
who were gonna be out there, so that a signing period.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
One of the One of the things is a lot
of these leagues like the NA L and all that
they don't pay very they don't pay great, you know
what I mean. So your player's power is their ability
to move from teams like you know, you signed me
this year, guys, and I think you guys suck. I
just don't come back, so you get you have to
treat me right or I won't come back. The goal
long term for the A F one is to be
the highest paying league and to work out some longer

(32:17):
term deals for your better players so that you know,
like like at Darius Prince, you know, instead of we
we know Darius wants to be an Albany. Darius knows
Albany wants him here, So why not do a three
year deal? You know? Why not do something like why
not do a two year deal or whatever? Or an
option for a two or whatever. So there's there are
talks about a list of protective players that you're allowed

(32:38):
to do. A lot of this stuff is not finalized yet,
but I will tell you that it was very It's
interesting because again I've always I've always known that if
everyone in a perfect world where every seat is sold
and every sponsorship is filled out, these guys would make
more money, that would be the goal. But you can't

(32:59):
get and see any of that. I mean, COVID happens,
and all of a sudden you're like, hey, guys, you know,
here's the sandwich. I hope you have a great afternoon,
Like you do what. You can't take care of them,
but you got Whoever, the discussions right now are all
about fairness, like how do you again? And we're not
gonna be the AFL. The AFL did not as much
as people love that brand, which it cracks me up

(33:21):
because again this is the AFL. Was the AFL because
the Orlando Predators, the Albedy Firebers, the Billings Outlaws, you know,
those teams were in it, which made it what it was.
They're the af one, you know what I mean. The
Washington wolf Pack is back, like those guys. We this
is going to be the premiere arena football League. We're

(33:41):
gonna be the only ones playing with nets and all that.
So our goal right now is to do what we
can to take care of the players that were on
our rosters last year, but also give them the absolute
best opportunity to be in the best situation this year. So,
if I had to guess based on what I heard,
I would think there'll be a protective list that only
you can negotiate with for a little while. Once once

(34:03):
that timeframe is over, if you haven't signed your players,
they're free agency, they go anywhere. That's about as fair
as again. I asked that draft question just because it's
almost an easier thing to digest qually, Yeah, and like
it'll be a fun thing to cover.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Yeah, But I think that's about all I got from
the convention questions from what I wanted out of you.
I got media questions, I got roster questions. I got
the future of the league, Capital region sports fans, their schedule.
What then it can expect you drop it in there
without me asking about Saturday games. That and you said
it to lead this whole thing off the productivity of
what the meeting was. No one's lost. Everyone has a relationship.

(34:37):
Someone can pick up the phone and call somebody.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Yeah, a lot of professional sports league there is competition
that we have to beat somebody else. But because we
are in uncharted waters new territory. The benefit of having
this is a.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Very coach cliche, but I actually feel like having almost
a twenty minute conversation with you about this feels to
be really true. What a coach to say you're only
as good as your worst player, Like it really feels
like that. Like the guy who's way back with the sprint,
who like the senior, would go back and get or
is out of shape or didn't do conditioning. Everyone sees
like the league will suffer if a franchise suffers, and

(35:10):
that really is what happened to the AFL in twenty
twenty three, so many teams it went viral for bad
things that crushed the perception of the league. I'm not
even talking financial or everything else, but this looked bad
and made everyone else look bad. The new goal of
AF one, not being at the convention, but speaking on
this and having this conversation is if we all look
good perceptions reality and it can be the truth of

(35:33):
WHOA look how much better this league in this product
is and compared to what we've trotted out in twenty
twenty three.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
There's too many variables to sit there and pretend that
I know how everything's going to go. Like you, the
only year that you kind of knew what was going
to happen was the year there was four teams. Back
in eighteen, you know, there were two owners and four teams.
But this group. Think about it like this. If you
were at the ground floor of the original AFL and
you went, Wow, this is a maze. I love this,

(36:00):
I love what we're doing. Here's three minor things I
would change as I sit back a little bit and watch,
and those three minor things are become twelve minor things
over time and this and then you watch people run
leagues and you go, wow, that league is crap. Or
how about being the guy who started Fan Control Football
with your boy Johnny Manziel. That's Jerry Kurs, dude. He

(36:22):
was there that entire time. He was the guy behind
the scenes making sure everything went right with the original AFL.
He was the guy who launched and made fan Coatroll
Football special. He was the guy who figured out how
to get Johnny Manziel and Trell Owens to play faan
Control Football. And all he's done all this time is
try to figure out how to make this better. And
then you bring in Jeff Fisher and you bring back

(36:45):
Christy Mchew and it's it's there was a moment on
Tuesday after lunch where I'm ready to talk about game
day and I got all my stuff and I got
my notes, I got my staffing, I got all this,
and I'm like, here we go. I got Nick back

(37:06):
here feeding me if I need anything, if I forget something.
She puts up the outlines for game days, and it's everything.
It's already there, they already have it. It's like, oh,
that's right. I didn't invent game Day. I took I
took notes from from the Empire, which was an AFL team.
I perfected them to what I wanted, and that's how

(37:27):
I got game Day. Oh that's okay. Cool, Hey, everybody,
my version of game Day is that too. So it's
it's it's the best I've felt at this point, to
be perfectly honest with you. And there's a lot of
news coming, but one more time, if it doesn't come
from the league, it ain't official. There's a lot of
people talking, a lot of people talking, Oh, I can't
believe this is gonna be there. That's gonna be there.

(37:49):
That's good. Trust me. Any question you have about it,
we have about it or had about it, so it's
it's everything again. So you see I have one on
the top of that piece of paper. It didn't come
from us. It ain't real. So we went about twenty
five minutes there. You don't want to know about Rivers
Casino in Chicago. That might be tomorrow. I don't think

(38:12):
we have time left. You want to know about my
entertainer friend whose name is Tiffany when she's working. This
is the days. I wish I had an extended show.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
I save that for tomorrow because I know a lot
of people listen to the podcast.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
So hot, But you know what else is hot? The
Great Deals over at Mohawks Chevrolet. Yes, actually twelve off
the north Way. Oh my gosh, man, I absolutely love
my truck. I love it was funny. We were riding
around in a minivan for most of the thing, which
is great because we can bring everybody with us. Mike
start telling about buying a minivan. I'm like, you better
call into Gelcher over at Mohawk Chevrolet. At least get

(38:48):
back into another Tahoe because I have another Tahoe. I'm like, well,
then we don't need a minivan. We get back home.
Stop it. You have a much Stop what you're doing.
But man, just it's funny to me that it's become
my knee jerk reaction. And whenever some people talk about vehicles,
Oh I needed this, I need that. Have you have
you met Travis Horne, the general manager. Have you watched
the dealership with Grace and everybody where they're having a

(39:09):
blast and you're learning about the dealership through a like
comical viral sensation that's out there. It's all going on
right now, and there's a little bit of time left
to take advantage of that down payment assistance anywhere from
one hundred to five hundred dollars on your vehicle that
you buy through car Bravo, as long as it qualifies.
Make sure you check out the details Mohawks Chevrolet off

(39:30):
Exit twelve, carbravo dot com, anywhere you are with the internet.
It's going on. My friends together, let's drive at Mohawks
Chevrolet where they always go out of their way to
please you. Coming up next the dump right here on
Fox Sports Trade ninety five, ninety nine eighty.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
It's Levac and Guz on ninety five nine Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
I didn't mean to say buying. Now we have to
finish the show. Nope, too late leaving No no, no, So
we're coming back, not not leaving, Nope, nope, no no, nope.
You you said what you said? You can't no take
back seats? Okay, man? I uh you you? What is it?
Is a day jet lag for every time zone you cross?

(40:10):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (40:11):
Yes, I've said this about traveling and I stole it,
and I'll say it every time you and I ever
get on a flight. Zach Bi has done some wonderful things,
represent the camplet to each the pride of Scotia. One
of the number one things I remember if zach by
take was the human body was never meant to be
on an airplane. It's the best take he's ever had.
It's true of me.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
We were waiting to get on, we were it was.
It was such a it was such a cluster and
it was and it sucks because everybody who every mistake
that was made was made with the best intentions. So
like Mike Quarda flew out to Chicago on Sunday, he

(40:53):
didn't want everybody else to have to be there that
many days. He didn't want to have to charge the
team for extra rooms. This none of us spoke like
I spoke on Monday and two Tuesday. Damon Ware spoke
on Wednesday. So like so like he gets there Sunday,
he flies into O'Hare and then go you know, rents
the van and he goes Ben Nelson Media Media man

(41:15):
extraordinaire and allegedly my son and I we fly in
first thing Monday morning. We fly in the Midway. No
one's paying attention to the fact that O'Hare is a
ten minute shuttle ride from our hotel where we're doing
the meetings, while Midway is an hour uber ooh oh no.

(41:39):
And our driver's name was Yangfu and my man was
was it was like Tokyo drift man. We and that
is not meant to be racist in any way, shape
or form. If you took offense to it, bleep you.
I don't care. That dude could drive. He got us there.
When we got in his car, it said like we
landed at eight, It said we would be we would

(42:01):
be at the hotel like nine thirty. We got to
the hotel at five after nine. My man was moving,
you're in action video. It was I was go go.
I was like, we're either gonna get to the hotel
or the scene of the crash. We're getting somewhere. It
was awesome. But he got there and I never felt

(42:23):
in danger like he was. He was you can see
what he was doing the whole time. It was like
being in a stunt driver movie. You're right, it was.
It was. It was crazy. So but that then then
and then Damon flew in same deal, but Damon didn't
have Yang Fu. He Damon took about an hour to
get to the hotel. And then Mike, you know, in
the interest of hey, it's gonna be a tough week

(42:45):
for everybody, Let's travel together on the way home. That way,
I can buy you guys dinner and whatever. He books
us all out of Midway. So we have to drive
an hour in the minivan. And there's something with the
minivan crew. If you ask Mike, that's the new name
to Midway. We get there and in midway's a crappy airport.

(43:06):
I'm sorry, I don't know, Like I don't know if
I've been in Midway before. I know i've been no
hair and like a crossover, but I've never been like,
I've never been there. It's it's older, it's an older airport,
so like you parked a rental car in one building.
You get on a bus. The bus takes you across
town to the airport like it was it was, and
then whill everybody's getting security. I'm the only one pre screened,
so I'm like, yo, peace, guys, I gotta pee anyway,

(43:26):
I'm not standing in the security line. So they get
When they finally get through security, I'm sitting there. I'm rested.
I've gone to the bathroom, I got a nice water,
and they're all coming out to shovel made them unpacked
their bags like it was. It was great. But again
and again, Mike's like, I am never worrying about you, guys. Again,
I'm flying out however the hell I want whatever, But

(43:48):
we get we always have a nice dinner. We get
on a plane, and it was the most turbulent flight
I have ever been on in my entire life. I
felt like popcorn the entire time. I can't believe we
saved this. At the end of the show, I'm proud
of you almost because I know you're not a fan

(44:09):
of flying in any way, you do your best. I
think it's the best thing to describe you. I just
felt in the pit of my stomach.

Speaker 3 (44:16):
You're saying that because I've gone on gosh, we gotta
be in double digit flights together now of how you
prepare for the flight? Oh and hearing your sober on
the flight too, How did you handle it?

Speaker 2 (44:26):
How did you?

Speaker 3 (44:27):
First of all, how'd you handle it holding that in
for three hours in the show? Second, how are you meant?

Speaker 2 (44:31):
You know what, I'm just finally coming to rob you
to making it three hours, So that's probably still sitting
in your brain from all that. It was a fully
packed plane. Oh so now you got she got Mike.
You got Mike, who's a huge human. You got me,
he's a huge human. Benny a tiny Damon Ware's got,
you know, lift your shoulders. So like dot, Mike and

(44:53):
Damon paid for preboarding, and I was like, well, I
don't want to charge the company in out of forty
five bucks whatever I'm not worry about. Mike goes stupid
do it. It was too late to play with full, So
they all go up front. Because then because Mike gets in,
Damon gets in, nobody's sitting between them if they don't
have to, So Ben hops in the middle of them
because you know Ben's the littlest of all us. I'm

(45:14):
all the way back, like if there's thirty, there's thirty
rows of seats. I'm in twenty six and I found
this nice mother daughter who are flying like kind to
meet their the husband and the sun. They went ahead
or whatever, and she's I'm like, do you mind if
I grab the aisle. She's like, no, not at all.
I'm just happing it to my daughter. I'm like, so
we talked for called miss and then I put the
bows and I'm telling you right now they are expensive.

(45:37):
But if you know, if you do not like to
fly the bows, noise canceling, comfort cue, whatever the hell
they are that I bought best investment in my life.
I listened to the Mister Ballin podcast for the whole trip,
and just the dark and mysterious. Everyone was about murder.
So I'm like, well, that person's got worse than me
as I'm bouncing. The poor flight crew it was, and again,

(46:03):
weirdest flight crew of everything, because usually you get like
get a bunch of like younger women, you know, as
your flight attendants. These were all white haired dudes, the
entire crew. I don't know if they like started on
playing together. They were like, you know, hey, we hey,
we we came over on the Nina the Pin to
the Santa Mariad. We've keep and we've worked together ever
since and we're never giving up. And like one guy

(46:26):
was mean as hell, like, guys, to your seat belt
this right here. I was proud of it. I buckled
that bad boy. What And he's like, I don't see it.
I go then get down there and walk and I
pull it out like that and he goes sorry. I'm like,
you don't me too.

Speaker 3 (46:40):
Whatever, But like they had those on the Mayflower no
where you started.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
Your career, sir, I was I mean, and it was.
So they come through. Actually we get up, it starts bouncing.
You hear the you know it's bad when you hear
the when you hear the pilot go, flight attendants, please
get to your seats, slips, please please buckle on your seats.
And you're like, oh no, here we go. And a
little while later, calms down. They come out through the

(47:08):
drink quarters. They hand out like three drinks and they
scatter and I'm like, oh no, and it lay next
to me. She goes, what I go? I go, They
don't scatter with full drink trays unless somebody told them
to sit down. She goes, She goes, Jerrylitz, I go
a lot of it. It's coming and bro, we were
but it was a pinball game. We would make it

(47:33):
noises the whole way and the point and like the
pilot comes on with like twenty minutes left. He's like, hey,
we tried multiple heights, you know, elevations. We tried everything.
There was nothing we could do. We're really sorry that
you didn't get your drinks and all that other stuff.
If you have garbage, you know, please keep it with
you whatever. I'm just sitting, I'm like, dude, o'tkare you
got me home? Like like I could go my four

(47:54):
houns is a Coca Cola. Can wait till the next trip.
But man, again, it was I was impressed by myself
because I was just like, you know what it is,
what it is? It is. I just it's I'm gonna
We're either gonna fall out of the sky or we're
gonna make it. I don't know what's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
You made it back. I am very proud of you
because I've gone in many flights with you. There is
a part of me selfishly that now you know, dude,
what's the end of the shall ask us that frightened
you enough that you won't get back on a plane.
Because a lot of people have those turbulent moments that
they're like, never again. I want to say it's John
Madden whom I actually had that happen. I believe that
was the reason he feared flying. It could be wrong

(48:29):
about that. It's almost a Friday, but I don't have that.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
I don't. I don't have John Madden to stardom. All right,
let me ask you this. Yeah, are we covering the
super Bowl in New Orleans? The wheels are in motion
for that. Well, I'm saying if you do you think
we're gonna do it? Yes? Okay, are we driving? I
hope not? Then guess what I and I met a
lot of a lot of very cool people. This is

(48:56):
the as we mentioned earlier, this is this is the
best ownership group I've seen. Like even the people that
you're kind of like you sure you got this? They
asked a lot of questions that doesn't usually happen, the
ones where you're like you sure you got this? Or
usually the same one you're like, oh no, I know
how to do that. Yeah, I don't know. I have
I bought. I bought fifteen bunk beds. I can. I

(49:19):
can house the players in my garage, Like those are
the ones that you're worried about. But then there wasn't nothing.
There was none of that happened, and so so like
I I, I want to go on a lot of
these trips, like I want to. That's good, that's good.
I'm glad you're traveled. Dude, about the tude in Mexico,
the owner in Monterey, he's he's running his mouth being

(49:40):
a nice guy. Told me to good host, and he's
like yeah, and I helped him out, took care of him.
He goes, you know, I got you when you come here.
And I go, well, I hope you're ready because my
blood type is SURVEYSA and he has been. And he goes,
I will have two trucks off surveys are ready for you, Jeff,
I believe he called me.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Yeah, yeah, that's right, the Jay and the Y. I've
got about four minutes here. I got two things for
you quick. Okay, let's do the easy one first. Somebody
who's very excited about this Mone, Yeah, we will be
at Stuart's tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
We will be at Stuarts tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (50:08):
It's our high school game Day plus game of the
week Shan versus CBA coach Classing his schedule to John
is the three forty five, So get ready for that tomorrow.
We're gonna be out live. We are out every single Friday.
Our Friday streak continues. We've been out live almost every
single Friday from July until November. So join us tomorrow
with Stewart's for that big game. Again for the locations
and more, Fox Sports nine eighty dot com and one take.

(50:32):
I want to get your opinion on have you heard
about the UNLV Syracuse situation going on involved the quarterback?

Speaker 2 (50:39):
As we started the show, I told you I'm trying
to catch up. I know, I know there's some nil issues.

Speaker 3 (50:48):
So briefly to touch on it, well, you know, I'll
paint with a broad brush here. Okay, what do you
make of the red shirt rule being what it is
like the fact that he can transfer after less than
four games and go to another school. I bring this
up because I talked about this on yesterday's show, and
I remember a long time agoing a galaxy far away.
You are very against the bowl game set out, and

(51:09):
then there was a time in sports history that I
noted that there were players who couldn't go to the
NFL till they were seniors, and there wasn't a one
and done rule. There wasn't like we've seen the evolution
of what this thing is. What are your thoughts and
guys quitting midway through the season to go potentially hit
the portal.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
I don't. I don't love it. I just I think
there should be a cap on portal. I think you.
I think you should be able to transfer like we
have obviously I would I would put it at one,
but like almost the same way that we've adjusted how
red shirts work and how many years you're eligible. I
think you should get one portal transfer and then with

(51:47):
with the right reasoning, you can have a second and
then possibly a third. So if you get one, I
don't care when you take it. If you get unlimited
portal transfers, there should be all right, let me put
that you don't want limited portal transfers. You either get
one and then you get a chance to do something
for a second one, or you can only do it

(52:07):
at the end of each season. Okay, I have no
issues with him leaving. I just know you and I
are coming to you.

Speaker 3 (52:14):
No, no, no, he's so U and LV is likely
getting me in the top twenty five on my gaz
Power rankings. They're in the top twenty five. Okay, but
he's really completed less than ten passes a game, so
like he thought, he got one hundred thousand dollars, but
he didn't sign a contract, but as a verbal commitment
for the offensive coordinator, you and I maybe after the show,
not a Fox Sports event, who might just go under

(52:35):
the orrange roof and pay off that bet next Friday,
which will be a lot of fun for that I'm
nine o'clock Eastern kickoff under the orange roof, So I.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
Don't have any issues with it.

Speaker 3 (52:45):
If you feel like it's the best financial decision for
you in your future, and that's the decision you have
to make. I'm never gonna hate on somebody for doing that.
If you've got a regular nine to five and another
business who competes with you said we're gonna offer you
more money if you leave right now, and you know
for the next year to three years you'll make more,
I think most people would take that deal. So I
have no issues with I just know this is gonna happen.

(53:05):
If Syracuse gets to three and one and they beat
Vegas in Vegas next Friday night, people are gonna question
Syracuse be like hanging on a second. You beat holy Cross,
you beat Ohio, you beat a UNLV team with a
backup quarterback, and you got beat by Stanford that's led
by a bunch of dorks. I don't know what to
think of Syracuse right now. So that's why I was

(53:26):
curious of your take of like will I will my
orange be undercut by a holy Cross victory and a
UNLV backup victory? Don't forget your home for the Orange
this Saturday right here Fox Sports ninety five to nine,
nine eighty just.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
It just feels like the wild West with all the
with all the transferring. But like I'm also like as I,
as I said to start the show, pretend I'm a
caveman that was thought out this morning, Like I just
I spent so much time in a Holiday Inn conference

(54:02):
room that was probably built for twenty five people but
had fifty in it that I don't really know that
I know enough about any of these things to truly
have a good conversation. So I'm trying. I'm doing my best.
I'm also learning. For those of you who get in
the car in the afternoon and go, oh, maybe we'll
back in God's will teach me something that's me today,
I'm learning. I'm learning what happened the world. I'm but

(54:23):
a cave man. I was out forging for food from
my family, fell into a ravine, was frozen, and woke
up here. But a caveman lawyer. All right, what's your
other one? That's it? We don't have all the time.
We're done. We have to leave. Where are we tomorrow?
We're up in the where it's Stuart's tomorrow. We have

(54:44):
we have tents and chairs and we do.

Speaker 3 (54:46):
We have tents, we have chairs that we don't know
what the weather is going to be like upcoming. I
know the whole East Coast and everybody stay safe. If
you've got relatives and family members much further south than us,
Shout out to our guys down at w FLA, down
in Tampa, and I know other affiliates down there that
going through it right now.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
So we're gonna ford through the weather. That sounds bad
up here in the Northeast compared to what's going on
down very bad. I got my foot wet. I'm very
upset about it. You know what I'm gonna do tomorrow.
I found a couple of my stash of twenty twenty
four Firebirs playoff shirts. We'll get away a couple, maybe five, six,
ten of them. I don't know however many I can
get away with before the owners go, hey, that's those

(55:21):
are ours. We'll give those away tomorrow as part of
the part of the broadcast the collector's items. Last time
we'll go without winning a championship those that's that shirt
right there? All right, well, then, I guess all that's
leugh to do is prepare for some Thursday night football.
Wash your hands, don't touch your face. Guys, it's Fox
Sports RADI ninety five nine to nine eighty. Hit that button.
