finals for high school football, and we're down to three
matchups featuring six local teams. In Division six Region twenty
four tonight in Piqua Coldwater Wild Battle and for a
trip to the state semifinals. In Division seven Region twenty
eight at Wapacinetta, unbeaten Marion Local puts its seventy six

game winning streak on the line against a fellow macmember,
Saint Henry. And in Division seven Region twenty six at
Shawnee tonight, it's Columbus Grove against Ellipsick and all Putnam
County battle. We'll have that game for you here on
eleven fifty WIMA. Columbus Grove has won ten straight after
opening the season zero to three, and coach Andy Schaefer

knows if his offense is going to be successful tonight,
they'll have to figure out Ellipsick defense that likes to
change things up week to week.

It's a little different in fact, in the game, it's
a little different from time to time, whether it's a
forty front or a thirty front. You know, as a
young offensive line, that can cause problems. But you know,
here we are a week fourteen. I don't think we
can say that they're young anymore. You know. The biggest
thing is just communicate and recognize what they're having because
it's hard to prepare for. But once we get in

the game, we should be fine.

coach Joe kirkandall, and speaking of the Viking defense, he says,
the first thing they have to do is make sure
they know where to find a Columbus Grove star Trevn Baxter.

They do a really good job of moving them around
and get him involved in their jet sweep game. You know,
they're getting them, moot them in different parts of the
formation and get them lined up in different spots at receivers,
just to try to create some confusion and to get
him lost. You know, I think the first thing you
know you have to do is you have to know
where he is at all times. You know, you have
to know which side of the ball is lining up on,
you know, because that alerts you know, guys to where
that the jets sweep from him and that threat might

might hurt you. And then you got to know where
he is in formation, if he's by himself or inside,
because you've got to make sure you have eyes on him,
and you just got to try to make sure you
have some matchups where you can, you know, maybe take
away or give yourself the best opportunity to take away
what they want to do.

Turning to the NFL. A rough night for the Buffalo
Bills in Houston last night. The Texans sacked at Josh
Allen eight times and Kaylen Bullock forced three turnovers in
a twenty three to nineteen Houston win. The Texans moved

to six and five while the Bills fell to seven
and four. The Bills converted a late fourth and twenty seven,
but then a pick by Kaylen Bullock as second of
the game stopped the Bill's final chance. The interception happened
at the nine yard line with twenty four seconds to play. Meanwhile,
the Bengals hosted the Patriots on Sunday. The nine and

two Patriots and Joe Burrow could play. Burrow was a
full participant in practice yesterday for a second straight session.
Head coach Zach Taylor hasn't ruled out the possibility of
Burrow playing in that game. Joe Flacco continued to take
second team reps behind Burrow. The Buckeye update with Staally Insurance,

Ohio State will play Rutgers tomorrow at noon, final home
game of the season for the ten and oh number
one Buckeyes. We'll have it for you right here pregame
at ten thirty. Turning to Buckeye basketball, they improved a
five and oh last night with a ninety one to
fifty eight route of Western Michigan at Value City Arena.
The Buckeyes scored thirty two points off sixteen turnovers and
