Ohio Auditor Keith Faber has announced that former Allen County
RTA executive director Sheila Haney has been indicted. The Auditor's
office says an Allen County grand jury returned an indictment
against Haney over the alleged theft of nearly twenty seven
thousand dollars. Haney faces seven total felony accounts, including theft

in office, tampering with records, and telecommunications fraud. The Auditor's
Special Investigations Unit launched an investigation after discrepancies were identified
relating to the proceeds from the sale of salvage vehicles
and separately, Haney's expense reports. Haney was contracted to serve
