The identities of two men found dead in an apartment
in Finlay early Sunday morning have now been released. Finley
Police say that fifty two year old Richard Gudierraz Junior
and sixty one year old Ernesto Mendoza Junior were found
in an apartment at seven o eight North Main Street.
The cause of their death is being investigated by the
Lucas County Corner and that incident remains under investigation. Meanwhile,

yesterday in Ada, the Ada Police Department assisted the US
Marshall's Service arresting Craig Southerly. The arrest warrant was served
at five point thirty Liberty Street. That area was notified
and evacuated during the arrest as a precaution. Southerly was
arrested without incident. He is currently being held in the
Lucas County Correctional Center. O. Dott District seven is seeking

public comment regarding a couple of big projects in Auglas County.
One is the interchange improvement at I seventy five and
US thirty three in Wapakanetta. The current preferred alternative from
ODOT is a single lane roundabout at the northbound IS
seventy five to US thirty three ramp intersection construction. They're
expected to begin in spring of twenty seven. The other

project is in the city of Saint Mary's. It would
fully reconstruct Spring Street from Main Street to the Saint
Mary's River Bridge. It would also convert Front Street to
southbound only between Spring and South in order to add
reverse angle parking. That project is also expected to begin
in the spring of twenty seven. For public input, citizens

can go to Transportation dot Ohio dot gov slash projects.
Comments should be submitted by the end of May. State
lawmakers are trying to develop a new tax credit that
could help the more than one million Ohioans who care
for a loved one at home. Ohio's Bring Caswell reports.

Ohio Congressman Mike Carey introduced a new bill that would
help those who are working but also taking care of mom, dad,
and other relatives at home. Introduce the Credit for Care
Act last year, but it didn't go anywhere, so he
another Republican and two Democrats are trying again this year.
If it becomes law, the bill would provide qualified working
family caregivers a tax credit of up to five thousand dollars.

According to AARP one point five million Ohio winds care
for a family member at home. They provide nearly seventeen
billion dollars in unpaid care and their average out of
pocket expense is seventy two hundred dollars per year.
